Dreamy Eyes

Open the door, Navi", Radha called from the kitchen, "sure, going", Navi said while running to open the door. The moment she opened the door, a handsome guy with a big smile asked, "Is this Radha Aunty's home?" "Yeah", said Navi.

" Welcome, my boy, Hardeep", Radha said, coming to the room , while wiping her hands with a towel. "Hope you didn't face any problem in searching the house! ". "No, aunty, I just followed your instructions and at the same time I asked for Navi's Villa as you said, he replied with a smirk. On the other side Navi was getting tomato red at the mention of her name, looking at her aunt's face. "Oh, let me introduce you guys, Hardeep she's my niece Navi, and Navi, this handsome hunk, is my friend Deepa's Sunny boy. He's gonna stay here with us for a few months as he's here to promote his business." "Hello, bua g ( paternal aunt, father's sister) you sit here in the meantime I will go and bring the tea", she said and went to the kitchen to make tea. " oh , this is the reason bua was busy preparing dishes since morning and she never told me, just you wait, what a treat to the eyes aha ! ". Meanwhile, Radha with a smile on her face was talking to Hardeep, asking about his family and especially her friend. But Hardeep was already lost, in the mystic brown eyes. "Yeah, aunty, mumma has sent your favorite sweets." "Navi, how much time do you need to make tea?" " Coming," Navi replied.

Navi is a twenty years old beautiful girl doing her internship in one of the computer firms was living with her aunt and uncle as her parents were often on their business tour. Radha's kids were studying abroad, so she, being alone, wanted her niece to stay with her. After having tea Radha told Navi, " Beta , go with Hardeep and show him the guest room, the helper had already cleaned it".

"Okay, please come." Hardeep picked his bag but Navi stopped him, saying that the helper will bring it up.

He quietly nodded and followed her to the other side of the house. The guestroom was just opposite Navi's room. " My good luck", thought Hardeep as Navi showed him the room. It was neat and clean painted in pastels. Adjacent Bathroom was also clean with the fresh toiletries and a fresh towel was hanging on the rod. " If you want any help you can call me, I'm just in the opposite room", Navi said and quickly went out of the room . She took a big sigh almost realising that she was holding her breath. " Oh my, he's a treat to eyes but hold on Navi, he's an elite guest, no hopes. Poor me, forget it ", and she jumped on her bed.

Hardeep, a twenty five years old guy, successfully running his own business had to come to another city as he planned to supervise another branch of his company. He's a smart, good looking, tall guy with hazel eyes and a treat for every female's eyes. Naturewise, personally he's an easy going person but in the business world it's really hard to crack a deal with him as he never believes in mixing business with pleasure.

After taking a bath, he was relaxing on his bed with a laptop on , when he heard a knock on the door , " yeah come in", " bua g is calling for dinner", said Navi. Hardeep got lost in the eyes and all he could see were pink lips moving, " hellooo", Navi repeating her words, " yeah, coming, you would wait here while I change or ..." " Nooo, I'm going" averting her eyes, she said and quickly ran out of the room. " What am I supposed to do with you? My poor heart, all gone seeing this beauty, she's looking hot in a pink body fitted suit with a long thick braid reaching up to her waist. Need to do something to make my heart go normal", he smirked while talking to himself.

On the dining table, he met and greeted Radha's husband, a jolly natured person in his mid fifties. Hardeep was thanking his stars for sending him to this city where he could live with this loving and lively couple. "Navi, you ok beta , very quiet today! " Asked Mandeep, Radha's husband. " Yes uncle, it was just a hectic day, as the CEO is coming tomorrow to pay a visit to our company, so we interns were quite busy, with our projects" . " Ok, if you need any guidance, we have a gem here, you can ask Hardeep to clear your doubts" , uncle said looking up at Hardeep. "Anytime," Hardeep said looking at the down headed girl.

"Thank you," came a sweet voice,

" Enough of office talk, '' Radha said while offering dessert to all. " Aunty , do you need any help in the kitchen, do call me I've to finish my presentation, so please excuse me" she said to Radha while taking utensils to the kitchen. "No, beta Jenny is here to help, you carry on with your work but don't work too late", Radha told Navi affectionately. Wishing Good night to them she climbed the stairs and started working on her project, after refreshing. During midnight, Navi heard some noise outside . She froze with fear and timidly went near the door hoping it's just a cat but now she could hear footsteps coming near her room.

She quickly opened the door and bumped into the hard wall and a shriek left her throat. "Relax, it's me, Hardeep", came a deep voice." You, what are you doing here at this hour, do you need anything, could have called me through intercom." ,She was blabbering with nervousness. " Nah, I was going to get water from the fridge as I forgot to bring the bottle with me", " ooookay, wait I'll get it , I've two bottles here , you take one". Navi offered. Hardeep asked her , "Your work is still not finished, do you need any help, by the way which company you are working for?"

"Well, it's almost done but you see there's a rumour that our boss is over strict with all the aggressive attitude, so as I'm just the intern and have been given the duty to welcome him . Actually I am working for HS & Company". Hardeep swallowed the water from the bottle given by her, hearing her. " Don't worry and don't judge a person without meeting him, go to sleep it's late. Good night". Saying so he returned to his room.

Navi got up early to help her bua in preparing breakfast, she helped her in making paranthas( Indian flat bread made of flour) . "Navi, you go and get ready, as today is your presentation, and don't worry, I'll serve these . By the way, don't forget to take your lunch box, every second day you forget it, why ``'' Oh bua, all this act of childness is to hear your loving scoldings. Love you dear", Navi said laughingly and ran to her room to get ready.

Hardeep was just coming down for breakfast," hold on it seems there's a fire nearby, seeing your speed! " " No, grumpy CEO,", she replied and quickly closed the door of her room to get ready.

Within fifteen minutes Navi was all ready and came down, she hurriedly gulped the glass of milk and was almost at the door, when uncle called back and said pulling her leg, " beta, relax first have your breakfast, or is it again one of your bua's special recipe which you are dreading to taste? " . Glares were flaying round Mandeep, and kids were grinning

"No, I have to rush to the office and check everything before the old man arrives". " Relax, take the driver today, I don't want you to drive in this state of mind!" " Aww, thank you uncle, I'll ask the driver uncle to take me after having his breakfast". Navi replied.

After half an hour , Navi was at the office all safe and sound and in one piece. But the moment she entered the office she was back to her helping attire, managing everything smoothly without disturbing.

After an hour or so, the front office lady just pinged her to tell boss was here and wanted to see her before heading to the conference room. Navi took a deep breathe and adjusted her suit and then went to knock on the CEO, no not on his head, though these were her thoughts, but instead she knocked the door . "Come in", came the deep voice, " please close the door", after she entered the room. She was trying to see him, as his chair was facing the wall and he was busy on the laptop.

"Sir, do you need anything, I'm Navi, an intern". "Have you prepared all the notes for the meeting? " The boss asked without turning back.

"Yes sir, would you like to go through it before the meeting? " Navi replied. " No, you can start the meeting within ten minutes, as I've to brief up everyone with the upcoming projects." " Sure sir, see you in the conference room then", saying she left the cabin with an unsure look. " "What happened? Did you get the chance to sneak peek at the handsome hunk!" Asked Reva, another intern, a lively girl by nature."Get your laptops and be in the conference room within seven minutes everyone as per the orders and Noon, I didn't see the old man as I talked to his back, satisfied, now hurry up", Navi told.

The CEO was just going to the conference hall and happened to overhear her, with a slight smirk, he along with his manager kept on moving towards the exclusive elevator only for the CEO, as the conference hall was on the twentieth floor.

Rest of the crew went in another lift and almost reached the hall at the same time.

The hall was properly lit up, with proper lighting, chairs and tables all set. Yes one could say, it was all well prepared with a projector and hard copies of the agenda were kept on each table.

The CEO was indeed impressed, but let's see what happens after the meeting?

The moment after everyone was settled the assistant asked for Navi after getting the nod from the boss.

"I'm here", came the reply from the door. "You're late, please find the lights before the presentation starts". "Sure, but I'm not late, I was just rechecking the arrangements, still one minute left to start the meeting", saying so, Navi quietly, dimmed the lights and took over the Mike to start off with the presentation.

Once it was over, she came back to her table and took her seat and waited with everyone for the boss to speak. The moment the deep voice started speaking , she somehow felt that she heard this voice somewhere. Earlier also she had the same thought, but she shrugged her shoulders.

The longer she heard the crispy voice, she was sure but couldn't place it as too much was going on in her head.

It seemed all the female staff was already drowned in the deep voice. "Thank you and yes, by the next week the interns have to complete the task and promotions will be in a pipeline in the meanwhile. " Saying so , the CEO headed towards his table . The assistant asked one of the interns to switch in the light. The moment the room was back in full light, Navi felt eyes on her, as she looked up she felt herself drown in the hazel eyes. " Oooo noo Hardeep is the CEO." A wink met her, across the room, all she could do was cover her already blushed face.

Her friend Reva was saying something but she was all lost in the cufflinks, and red bow tie on the striking shirt with a black jacket.

"As per the discussion, you all can come up with your ideas, you've two days to think about the projects and the workload will be divided accordingly later on as per your calibre, now please get back to your cabins ", Mr. Rao, the assistant said . Everyone started leaving. " Ms. Navi you wait " , came the deep crispy voice.

"Mr. Rao you can leave and collect all the financial details from the concerned department and report back to me tomorrow morning". "Yes boss", saying so he left the cabin.

One could hear the heartbeat and even count. " So I'm the old grumpy CEO, Ms beautiful", Hardeep said, closing the distance between the two.

Navi, all broken in sweat, was once again on the verge of blabbering, " you could've told me", .. "and spoil the fun ", drawled Hardeep, tucking the strand behind her ear.

Almost whispering, he said near her ear , "so, what do you say now? " Leaving the goosebumps on her skin .

Navi, on the other hand was all blushing upto her hair roots , was trying to move away but Hardeep left no space keeping her rooted in her seat with his hands on both sides.

"You, you " , stammering she said, "wanted to instruct me", "o yes, you've been removed from your post", rest of the words were still coming but Navi exploded, " what, just because I called you, old grumpy CEO, you are taking away my job, no doubt you've been tagged so " and she kept on speaking but Hardeep drawn to her pink lips n deep eyes, made her quiet by just kissing on her lips and Navi was all shocked with wide opened eyes looking at him , while he deepening his kiss on the lips nibbed her on the lower lip holding her too close, almost her girls crushing into his steely chest.

The moment lasted a few minutes which was all spoiled by a heavy thump on his left foot.

"How dare you?,"

"One more insult and you know the consequences..hmm"

"Dear, you're being promoted to be my personal assistant from tomorrow morning you'll be performing your duties, go and collect your appointment letter from the desk." Hardeep said with his eyes on her pounding chest and flickered enough to see her stormy eyes.
