A cruise ship was traveling at sea, and there was a birthday party being held on it. The participants were enjoying alcohol, laughing, and chatting.
Mary Miller was walking up and down with a tray to bring drinks to the guests.
Mia Wood, her younger cousin, suddenly ran over to her and grabbed her by the arm. "Mary, you don't have to do this. Come and play with me."
Mary asked confusedly, "Mia, where are you taking me?"
Mia dragged her to a place where there were few people, picked up two cups of juice from the table, and handed one to her.
"The party is so boring. Could you please accompany me to play?"
Mia put on an innocent smile. Upon seeing that Mary had finished half of the juice, she took her hand again and continued walking.
Mary had no idea what was going on and had to follow the other woman.
Mia actually dragged Mary to the accommodation area.
"Mia, where are we going?"
Mia slowed down as they entered a luxurious room.
"Mr. Carter, I've brought my sister here."
A lustful smile of an unknown man appeared in Mary's sight.
Just as she wanted to ask Mia what all this was about, the latter abruptly gave her a big push.
Mia then immediately ran away.
Outside the room, the party was still going on, and people were happily exchanging toasts.
"Come on, beauty."
Screaming and dodging, Mary rushed over to knock at the door and shouted, "Help, help!"
Eric Carter fixed his eyes on Mary's pretty face, feeling eager to violate her.
The woman leaned against the door and suddenly felt weak and hot all over. She shook her head and wondered what was going on.
"Beauty, be good. Otherwise, you'll suffer a lot," Eric took off his coat, threw it away, and walked over to Mary.
"Ah..."
At this moment, the sun was sinking into the ocean.
Just then, a woman jumped into the sea.
The gorgeous, splendid sunshine tinged the waving seawater with a layer of golden, saltant light.
Outside the luxurious cabin, there was a noble, elegant man standing, who was holding a glass of drink in his slender hand. Being wrapped by the radiance of the setting sun, he looked somewhat melancholy and lonely.
He had just finished a funeral at sea to scatter his father's ashes into the water.
"Young Master Mike. The mayor wants to invite you to dinner tomorrow night," his assistant came over to him and reported.
The man replied, "I am not going."
At this point, Mary was struggling in the sea. The coldness of the water was driving her heat away.
Upon seeing a luxurious white cruise ship, she tried hard to stay awake and swam towards it at her best speed.
Slowly approaching her target, Mary saw a tall, male figure standing on the deck, which was in a knee-length black trench coat. In the breeze, the hem of the coat was blown upon into an elegant arc.
In the woman's eyes, the man was just like her savior.
She reached out her hand and shouted in a broken voice, "Help, help me..."
With his eyes narrowed, Mike Johnson noticed a woman was swimming towards him like a mermaid on the shining sea.
"Help me ..." Mary used up all her strength and felt her body sinking gradually.
The cold seawater was overflowing her head inch by inch.
She felt she was dying.
Right before the woman was about to lose her consciousness, someone lifted her head out of the surface.
Then she felt her entire body was taken out of the sea, and someone began to press her chest.
"Lady, wake up!"
Staring at the woman on the deck, Mike saw her pale complexion, slender legs, and wet long hair, and that she was in a red skirt like a waitress.
This was how he met his mermaid.
After being pressed on the chest twice, Mary vomited a mouthful of water, slowly opened her eyes, and saw the hem of the man's coat hanging above her head.
Without hesitation, she stretched her hand to grab it as if it were a piece of drifting wood on the sea.
Seeing the woman grab his trench coat, Mike Johnson furrowed his brows.
Mary Miller grabbed it tightly and said weakly, "Help me..."
Mike leaned over and looked at her like a king overlooking his soldiers, saying, "I don't save a person for no reason. Can you trade your life for that?"
His voice was mellow and charming.
Mary could not hear what he had said, grabbing the hem of his windbreaker so tightly that her knuckles turned pale.
"Silence means agreement," Mike reached out his hands to pick the woman up.
After getting rid of the cold seawater, Mary's body began to burn again, and her cheeks reddened. Laying in the man's arms, she gently twisted her body.
She felt so hot as if her blood was burning all over.
"Sir, let's begin."
Just as Mike was about to order a servant to clean the woman up, she wrapped her arms around his body.
An inexplicable emptiness was devouring Mary's reason and making her itchy all over. She held the man's body, greedily and desperately.
"I feel terrible..." Mary rubbed Mike's neck with her face and clung to him.
The man's skin touched cold and made the woman feel comfortable. Involuntarily, she started to kiss him from the neck.
Mike frowned when the woman kissed his lips.
Mary lifted her head to suck the man's lips and felt much more comfortable than earlier.
The scene blushed the two maids, who were standing aside. They called out nervously, "Young Master Mike."
Mike immediately commanded, "You two get out."
Pressing the woman's wriggling body, Mike asked in a cold voice, "Woman, do you know what you are doing?"
Mary certainly was clueless, and she only knew that the man was her antidote and salvation. The closer she got to him, the more comfortable she felt.
She kept kissing him and reached out her hands to unbutton his coat.
The man's breathing fastened as a response to the woman's movements.
As Mary was stroking his sturdy body, Mike could not help but become short of breath.
The woman's kissing even gave him a sensation of being drunk.
All of a sudden, the man threw the woman away from his arms.
Mary was thrown into bed.
She managed to open her eyes and reached her hands out at the man before her eyes. "Save me. I feel so uncomfortable...Please help me..."
Mike narrowed his eyes. "Have you been drugged?"
He stared at the woman on the bed, who was twisting her soaked body. Mary's figure was tempting, and her big, watery eyes were bright and inviting.
Mike's Adam's apple was rolling up and down.
The woman looked so beautiful.
Miked turned around and wanted to leave. However, Mary instantly sat up, grabbed his coat, and then encircled his waist by her hands.
Intuitively, Mary pressed herself against the male.
"Woman, you don't know what you're doing."
Mike immediately lost control of himself and became somewhat bewitched.
He indulged himself with the woman all night long.
Early the next morning, the sea breeze blew into the room.
Mike had already dressed up, standing in front of the bed with a glass of champagne in his hand and shaking it gently. He was giving off an elegant and proud vibe.
Staring at the woman on the bed, he said to his assistant, "Hank, do you think she and that girl look alike?"
Hank Cook was holding a photo in his hand. The girl in the picture was young, 15 or 16 years old, wearing a school uniform and smiling brightly.
Comparing the woman on the bed and the girl in the photo, Hank answered, "Yes, they do look alike. I have not expected her to come back to us."
Mike took a sip of his wine and smiled, "It's destiny."
When Mary woke up, she found that the luxurious room was empty. Rubbing her eyes, she felt sore and painful all over.
She lifted the quilt and almost screamed when she noticed that her lower body was in such a mess.
A maid entered the room and said, "Miss, this is the clothes that Mr. Johnson asked me to bring to you."
"Mr. Johnson?" Mary sat up on the bed, and scenes of the previous night began to flood into her mind.
The clothes brought by the maid were a white dress and clean underwear.
Mary Miller entered the bathroom with the clothes in her hand.
The maid then tidied up the bedding and noticed that there were bloodstains upon the sheet.
Mary scrubbed her body, trying to get rid of the purple marks left by what had happened last night. She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. "Mia Wood!"
The day before, she volunteered to help at her elder cousin's birthday party. However, her younger cousin Mia drugged her and then brought her to Eric Carter, who wanted to rape her. Given no other choice, she had to jump out of the window and into the sea.
She kept swimming in the water until she met a god-like man to whom she lost her virginity.
At the thought of the happenings, Mary sobbed while showering.
When she got out of the bathroom, the maid was gone. In the white dress, the woman timidly left the room.
On her way to the deck, she had not seen anyone.
The cruise ship was traveling on the boundless sea, and the surface looked like blue gems under the morning sunshine.
Standing in front of the guardrail and letting the breeze blow upon her, Mary felt her heart was turning from being overcast to sunny.
She suddenly heard approaching footsteps, swiftly turned her head, and saw Mike Johnson, whose eyes were dark and deep.
What a handsome man.
He was wearing a knee-length, black trench coat, giving off an extraordinary, handsome yet somewhat standoffish vibe like a prince in those fairy tales.
Mary was slightly stunned by his handsomeness. Upon seeing the hemline of his coat, she recalled how she volunteered to seduce him last night.
The woman's face blushed all over, and she made a deep bow to him, saying, "Thanks. Thanks for having saved me."
She knew she could not blame the man for taking her chastity as she was the one who had taken the initiative.
Hank Cook, who was standing next to Mike, let out a smile at the woman and said, "You're welcome, Miss, and may we have your name, please?"
"My name is Mary Miller."
"Mary Miller," Mike repeated the woman's name, scanning her up and down and letting out a faint smile.
The white dress the woman was wearing set off her elegance perfectly. Her black hair was slightly curly, and her figure was slender, looking like a mermaid.
Mike's smile deepened while looking up and down at the mermaid-like woman.
The man continued asking, "What's your father's name?"
The woman was confused but answered honestly, "Arthur Miller."
"Sure enough," Hank nodded.
Mary thought to herself, "Wait a minute. Why are they asking about my father? Do they actually know him?"
Seeing a silver lining, the woman stepped forward and grabbed Mike by his arm, asking, "Do you know my father?"
The turtleneck dress served as a foil to the woman's smooth and pale face, which was giving off a light luster.
Mike looked down at the woman's hand.
Mary thought she might be overthinking, let go of his hand, and took a step back, with blue yet bright light in her eyes.
Mike turned and left.
Hank said to the woman, "Miss Miller, please go inside. It's time for breakfast."
Mary was so hungry that when a maid served her a sandwich, she quickly ate it up.
In the meantime, Hank was searching for information about the woman at the request of Mike in another room.
He quickly collected some basics of Mary and read it out to his boss, "Mary Miller, 22 years old, graduated from City University. Since she was ten years old, she has been raised in his uncle's family. Her uncle is nice to her. Though her aunt dislikes her, she hasn't mistreated her from what I've learned. Plus, it seems that she has never been in a romantic relationship," Hank revealed a smile and then continued, "Which you may tell from last night. Most importantly, she is indeed Arthur Miller's daughter."
