Divine Evolution: What Kind of Wish is This?!

Within the magnificent city of Beijing, an average pizza shop was located in a particular corner.

Outside the shop stood a grown man in a sauce stained apron and beside him was a young man on a packed delivery scouter who he seemed to be talking to.

The boys name was Chinonso, Age 16, Though not as handsome as a model, with his rare blue eyes that shimmered like sapphire's, proportionate jawline, dark smooth skin fitting of one from a migrated family and stricking silky smooth hair that reached towards his shoulders, the boy was a complete knockout.

With such good looks life would be no less amazing for anyone but sadly it wasn't so for Chinonso in particular for he had to drop out of highschool due to some tragic incident.

His parents had gotten into an accident a year ago so without any main person to take care of them, Chinonso had to drop out of school so he could get a job in order to care for his 3 younger siblings.

The grown man in a stained apron was naturally his Boss who was currently cautioning him about a certain delivery.

" Listen here boy, we got an eccentric order among this batch of delivery's right now and though I'd really hate to give it to you, that's not an option now since Maxwell's out on a delivery...Sigh.." The burley grown man's voice clearly showed his reluctance.

" Why do I get the feeling that you don't trust me on this one boss, come on Old Chen, am just as good as a deliver as Maxwell" Chinonso clenched his fist in indignation.

" Again it's Boss Chen!, I thought I told you to stop calling me Old Chen you brat! am still as young and healthy as I ever was" His Boss retorted firmly.

Chinonso just looked him up and down before sighing lightly while shaking his head, his Boss seeing such a reaction felt his blood surge as if he was gonna strangle the cocky brat before him.

" Dammit you ungrateful brat!, I remember when you're old man was around you were a lot more grateful"

" Well he isn't so don't even dream about it" Chinonso crossed his arms in front of his chest seemingly vexed.

".....Why on earth do I even have to put up with this " Old Chen massaged his temple looking exhausted.

"I wouldn't be wasting so much time if Maxwell was here.." His Boss Boss gave a helpless sigh.

" There you go again calling Maxwell into this, I really don't get what's the difference between him and me, we're both delivery boys aren't we"

" Delivery boy my foot, at least his customers don't complain about him"

" Hey that's not fair, Mine don't complain to"

" Your what?" Old Chen raised a brow asking sarcastically.

" My customers obviously!" Chinonso flared up, obviously irritated by the Old man's taunting gaze.

" Which customers?, you mean the ones you either messed up their delivery or annoyed?, or the one customer whom you smashed a pipping hot pizza on her face?" His Boss chuckled mockingly which irritated Chinonso even more.

" Hey that lady was asking for it!, that one wasn't my fault!" He tried defending himself.

" I don't care who's fault it was, just remember what I told you, you better not mess up this delivery or else!" The man warned sternly before returning into the restaurant with a slam of the door.

The delivery boy cursed underneath his breath watching his boss retreat into the shop" Tsk~, but that one really wasn't my fault that time!, that old cougar was really trying to molest me.." he grumbled but no one could here him for his boss was already gone.

" Sigh...,Might as well get this delivery over with" he sighed lightly before checking his scooters delivery box to take a peek.

" The F*ck?, I seriously don't get why the old man's being so careful, it's only just one box!" Chinonso grumbled on seeing the single pizza box in the delivery box.

" Tsk~, just forget it, it's probably just some rich prick or something, best to get going before the old man comes looking for me again " he decided before getting atop the scooter.

Chinonso reached into his pocket before pulling out his phone, he plugged on his wired ear phones before putting on his music player app.

" Yeah, nothings better than a nice tune to keep you calm" Chinonso nooded his head in agreement, he felt a whole lot better the moment the nice beats came on.

After that he clicked on the shops employee app to get a clear understanding about the package before he would set off.

" Called it, I knew it had to be a rich prick..., Says here she lives in the inner districts of Beijing, Dongcheong to be precise " Chinonso's eyes widened in shock.

In China, Beijing had several districts but Dongcheong was among it's 6 popular inner districts

" But wait, I don't get it, why would someone like that suddenly order from our low end pizza hut all of a sudden...." he pondered before quickly shaking his head.

" Wait don't tell me she really likes Old Chen's cheesey Pizza?, really?" He placed his hand against his chin in wonder since even he would call it average at best.

" Well no use thinking about it since I ain't getting paid to do so, might as well get going..." he said only for his eyes to widen when he looked at his phone again.

" Crap!!!, look at the time!!!, at this rate am gonna be late!" He quickly put on his helmet before starting his scooter, once on he quickly drove off.

" Hey kid slow down!"

" Dammit are you crazy or something!!!"

" Damned punk!" With his hands on the accelerator, he quickly sped through the streets, swerving through multiple cars and over taking several.

Though garnering resentment and curses from the several road drivers he passed by.

" Hurry hurry hurry!" Which each passing second his hands kept on increasing his speed with the accelerator, his eyes glancing towards his watch from time to time.

Hurry!

At such swift speeds it wasn't long before he arrived at his destination, with the scooter coming to a stop he scrutinized the building, What came into view was actually an apartment building?.

" Wait she lives in this place?, pretty simple of you ask me" he mumbled forgetting that it was still an apartment in Dong cheong and with over 10 floors to match.

" Just why on earth would the boss be so careful about a delivery to a place like this?" Chinonso added, he pondered it for a while but still couldn't get why.

" Well might as well get this over with, it's just about Ebube, Kosi and Zara's dismissal time afterall" due to his diligent attitude to work, he managed to fund his siblings school tuitions and went ahead to fund there extra school lessons as well so his siblings normally returned home at 6 in the evening instead.

Since he couldn't have a future anymore he thought he might as well make sure that theirs was just as good as every other kid's if not better.

Remembering his younger siblings where soon going to end school for the day he quickly made his way into the apartment.

So as to avoid any problems he decided to avoid the elevator, instead taking the stairs upwards.

After a few flight of stairs, Chinonso finally made his way to the twentieth floor.

The moment he arrived at the floor he couldn't help stoping all of a sudden, the entire floor was eerily quiet for some reason, with a cold draft blowing from time to time sending a shiver down his spine.

" Geeze what a dump, couldn't the landlord even afford to buy a few spare light bulbs at least" he remarked with a tinge of annoyance for there wasn't even a single bulb on in the corridor as if they were all broken, one could only imagine just what this place would look __like at night.

Chinonso then made his way into the eerie corridor to the addressed door giving it an audible knock with one of his hands while holding the box in the other, he also didn't forget to smile lightly, since the boss placed such a huge importance on this delivery he might as well appear more presentable.

" Coming......" A raspy voice was heard after he knocked, for some reason Chinonso couldn't help but feel as if the voice sounded right next to his very ears causing him to shiver a little, he abruptly shook his head dissolving such thoughts.

Creak.....

The door creaked ominously, opening up ever so slightly.

" Afternoon miss, Am here to drop off your delivery from Chen Yang's Pizza hut^^" Chinonso said instinctively the moment the door was opened.

With the door opened what came into his view was a pale skinned lady who looked no older than 20, With jet black hair, matching black eyes wearing a strange dress stained with red all over.

Chinonso upon seeing her didn't react much at first instead his gaze went towards her face, he was left stunned as to what he saw.

The ladies face was covered in several scars, one across her eye's, the other across her nose while the other across her lips.

" Get a good look yet?" The ladies cold voice snapped him back to reality.

Chinonso quickly shook his head nervously, a helpless smile etched on his face" My apologies, I was just attracted to it that's all"

" Attracted?, your telling me you find my face attractive?..." She asked again only this time with a bit of confusion.

" Of course, truthfully I really do find it attracting, I really am sorry for staring"

" Like I said earlier here's your delivery..., I made sure to get it here as fast as I could so it's still hot" he pushed the box into the ladies hands who accepted it with blank eye's.

Chinonso felt like she was still upset with his earlier actions so he bent down abruptly giving a respectable 90° degree bow before turning to run off.

" Hey wait a minute!" The lady quickly called him back.

" What is it?" Chinonso stopped mid way turning backwards towards her.

" Here~" she replied before throwing something into his arms which he caught.

Opening his palm to take a look, Chinonso was stunned to find out what it was.

A Golden Coin!

" That's your tip " the lady replied before he could speak.

" Wait miss I can't accept this–" he tried returning it but by the time he turned back to her the lady had already vanished into her apartment locking the door behind her.

Chinonso stood there not sure what to do, After a while of standing and realizing that the lady was not coming back he decided to turn around and leave.

" A Gold Coin huh?" He said while standing outside the apartment with the coin in hand, He took a bite at it and noticing the sharp pain that came right after he beamed with joy quickly placing it into his pocket before driving off.

After making a few deliveries more, he quickly returned home by around evening.

Thankfully their home was fully bought by there parents before they died otherwise it would've been extremely difficult for them to survive until now.

" Am home!" He said while pushing the door open.

" Big brother ^^"

" Onichan ^^"

He was quickly welcomed by two cute little kids, one was a boy who looked 11 years while the other was a fiesty little girl who looked 8 years of age, though different in age both also had dark skin, silky smooth hair and a stricking resemblance to Chinonso.

A third person who was naturally their 2nd born Ebube who was 14 years old sat quietly by the sofa, on seeing Chinonso walk in he just gave him a casual glance before returning his gaze to the TV which was playing a certain action movie about a godly lizard.

Chinonso didn't mind the boys calm attitude instead turning his focus towards his other siblings.

" Ok ok ok i love you guys too, how's everyone doing ^^" he replied with a warm smile but everyone suddenly turned silent.

" What's wrong?" Sensing the particular atmosphere Chinonso raised a brow asking once more.

" You tell him..." His little sister Zara nudged Kosi his little brother.

" No you tell him..." Kosi the third born nudged back clearly not willing to speak.

" Tell me what?..., wait what happened to your face!" Chinonso quickly squatted down on noticing a little bruise on his little brother Kosi's cheek.

" Who did this...." Chinonso asked coldly his eyes squinting till a dangerous degree.

His little brother lowered his head as if not willing to say but underneath his older brothers gaze he finally relented.

" It's...the kids at school again, they started picking on us like always, I tried fighting back but they ganged up on me!" Kosi said while clenching his fists tightly clearly frustrated.

" Ebube came to help but was beaten up too~, we only managed to escape because Zara ran off to call a teacher who came and stopped the fight..." He added.

On hearing what happened Chinonso instantly flared up. " Damned b*stards!!!, What on earth is wrong with them dammit!!!"

" Why didn't you call me on the phone then!" He turned back towards Kosi.

" It's not our fault, we wanted to but Ebube said it would only make things worse so we didn't..." Kosi said glancing towards the quite boy on the sofa.

Hearing their reply Chinonso clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction, it wasn't that he wouldn't be able to beat up a bunch of school kids but that he really couldn't, the school they went to was one mostly filled up with people from the middle class and above, if he really did come there and get into a fight then he'd have to worry about keeping his job and if he lost that then what else would they do to survive.

Though he really hated it, the thought of his siblings getting bullied pissed him off beyond measure if only he could retaliate.

He knew getting frustrated was not going to help so after a short while he took a deep breath.

" Ok let's try to forget about that ok, I got a surprise I know you guys would love^^" he smiled brightly before showing them the golden coin.

" Wow!!, where did you get that!" The quite boy quickly sprung up from the sofa.

" Shinny!!" Zara said with excitement, her eye's shimmering like stars.

" I want one!" Kosi said, On seeing the coin all his siblings starred at the golden coin in awe.

" I got it from a customer today as a tip, neat right?" Chinonso smiled proudly.

" Super neat!!!" The three replied excitedly in unison.

" Kk I got an idea, how about we all make a wish ^^, it is a coin afterall right?"

" Wow really?, we can?"

" Will it come true?" They asked.

Chibi not wanting to ruin the mood nodded reassuringly before passing them the coin.

" Come on, go ahead, make a wish ^^" he said happily with a smile.

His siblings passed the coin back and forth between each other before finally grasping it together, they whispered together like cute little pups before looking back at Chinonso then closing there eyes.

" We wish we all could one day get revenge against those bullies and monsters at school! " They said loudly together leaving Chinonso stunned.

For kids to wish for revenge not to mention someone as young as his little sister who was only 8, of course he'd be stunned.

He was just about to say something when the coin in there hands suddenly glowed brightly.

The siblings stared in amazement at the glowing coin in shock, simultaneously the coin suddenly vanished into thin air and in it's place several holographic glowing cards of different colors emerged within the house, from the living room to the bedroom and even the toilets where fully covered with them.

" What in the world?" Chinonso starred with bewilderment, his siblings had the same stunned looks as well.

" It's almost like it's real..." Ebube remarked with a tinge of amazement as he looked at one of the cards closely.

" Awesome!!! " Kosi said excitedly, also stunned by what just happened.

" Shiny!" Zara said, like a moth to a flame she reached out towards a pitch black card that gave off an incredible obsidian glow.

" No don't touch it!" Chinonso warned but it was already too late, she had already grabbed one of the cards.

Like the coin from earlier she suddenly vanished.

" Zara!!!!" The trio screamed in unison.

" Where did she go!"

" She just vanished!, how's that even possible!"

" How are we going to get her back!"

" It's ok it's ok, I'll just go get her" Ebube quickly said though a little panicked, he reached towards one of the cards but this time was held back by Chinonso.

" There's no way am letting you vanish to" Chinonso said.

" But what about Zara then" Kosi said, a sense of urgency towards his sister who's whereabouts where unknown could be seen on his face.

" Then we'll all just go together!" Chinonso said.

" Are you crazy!, we don't even know where she went" Ebube rebuked.

"The more reason we need to hurry!" Chinonso replied.

" Fine!, but we better be careful!" Ebube said.

" Of course!, Let's all just grab one on three ok?" Chinonso said before counting.

"One

"Two

" Three!" On the last count the all quickly grabbed a pitch black card as well just like there little sister before vanishing, Their destination unknown.

" ......ahhhhh, what happened" Chinonso grumbled awake, his eyes twitching ever so slightly as they slowly opened up.

He tried massaging his temple with his hand but was stunned when he felt his forehead.

" The hell?" He mumbled when he felt his hand hit against a rough surface, though he could still feel his hand, the usual soft sensation he felt when he touched his head was actually gone?.

" Why on earth does my head feel like a rock he muttered only to be even more shocked when he caught a glimpse of his so called hand.

" Woah!!! woah!! woah!!, what the hell happened to my hands?!!!" He shrieked for what came into his vision was not his usual 5 fingered arm but a metallic like arm with sharp pincers at the end.

Before he could process what was happening he heard several shrieks originate around him jolting him awake.

" What the hell happened to my arms, I got paw's!!!!, i got freaking paws!!!!" A frightened scream could be heard from his left.

Chinonso turned towards it and behold what came into his sights was a surprising black wolf! but that wasn't what frightened him, what left him frightened was that the wolf's shriek matched his brothers voice!.

" Ebube!, is that you‽" He yelled in shock.

" Chinonso?!!" The wolf turned towards him, it's eyes filled with the same amount of shock if not more.

" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! " The both screamed in unison pointing towards each other with there supposed limbs.

" What the heck happened to you!!" Ebube remarked, his eye's scanning Chinonso in horror, his gaze soon landing on the ominous tail that curved behind him like a deadly scythe.

" I should be saying the same about you!" Chinonso retorted, also looking at his now canine like brother with a peculiar look.

" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" A muffled sound was suddenly heard, the duo were quickly alerted to the sound.

" Damn it, That sounded like Kosi!"

" What on earth could've happened to him?!" They both said before running towards the direction of the noise, specifically a lake which was situated behind them.

With his quick and nimble limbs Ebube was first to make it to the lake though Chinonso who looked horrific was able to make it almost just as fast, at least this showed that the duo were capable of movement at least.

" Kosi!, Kosi where are you!" Ebube yelled urgently.

Chinonso quickly scanned the lake with his eye's looking for him as well, it didn't take long for the duo to spot a flurry of bubbles emerging on the lake surface.

Splash!

With a splash of water, a primal creature emerged before them, it's body was covered in slick black scales with a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth fitted in rows and cold blood red frightening eye's.

The creature that emerged before them was an actual shark though still in it's infancy stage.

" Wait that's Kosi?" Ebube tilted his furry head to the side, his eyes laced with confusion.

" How on earth did you become a shark?" Chinonso stared at him in wonder.

" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's a monster!!!" The little shark screamed in terror the moment he submerged, quickly retreating back underwater.

" Huh?!!, a monster?, where is it!" Chinonso turned vigilant his strange body turning around swiftly but on turning he didn't see anything but the trees in the distance and the cloud filled sky.

He was feeling confused when he suddenly felt a furry hand pat him on the back.

" I think he was talking about you..." Ebube remarked with a forced smile but when matched with his sharp fangs it looked completely ferocious even Chinonso thought so, if not for him already being vigilant he would've jumped back in fear.

" Wait but am not a monster?" Chinonso replied, only for a sudden realization to hit him, he really hadn't gotten a good look at himself till now.

" Well technically you do look like one..." Ebube placed his left paw against his cheek as if pondering something.

" if am not mistaken with those sharp pincers, frightening eye's and that deadly scythe of a tail behind you, you should be a scorpion!" Ebube added.

Chinonso went towards the water to look at his reflection and just like Ebube said he really did match the description of a scorpion, he had several blood red eye's, a black exoskeleton, two sharp menacing pincers and a deadly tail stationed at the back.

Seeing such a reflection Chinonso unconsciously gulped down hard, a sense of trepidation washed over him from just seeing his reflection but he quickly shook his head when a certain thought came to mind.

" We almost forgot, we're still looking for Zara aren't we‽" Chinonso quickly reminded them.

" Oh yeah!, I almost forgot as well!" Ebube said with realization, his sharp wolf eyes started glancing left and right before coming across something.

" Hey I think I found something!" Ebube said before running back to their earlier position.

Chinonso glanced back at the lake which Kosi had retreated into, judging by the size and features he decided that there was no danger whatsoever in the lake that could threaten his dear younger brother, only after making sure of that did he run after Ebube, his 6 legs sprinting faster than one would expect.

" What is it, what did you find?" He asked after coming to a halt.

" These...." Ebube said while pointing at several markings on the ground, thankfully they had arrived early for the markings looked intact.

" You found her foot prints?!" Chinonso said with glee before giving them a scrutinized look, the foot prints looked as if they were made by a creature with 5 toes, not bigger than Ebube, probably clawed and on four limbs.

" What on earth did she become?" Chinonso blurted out, his eyes filled with wonder.

" Who knows, but that really doesn't matter right now, what matters is that we find her quickly before something happens" Ebube said, clearly adapting to the situation at hand.

" Perfectly said!" Chinonso agreed.

" But right now I think it's best you watch over Kosi, I'll go find Zara" Chinonso added leaving Ebube stunned.

" Are you sure?!, I mean I could go look for her instead, I can just sniff her out with my new snout" Ebube said with while pointing at his dark snout.

" No that's not needed right now, We just became monsters so I really don't think you would instantly become an expert on sniffing, Don't worry about it I can manage" Chinonso raised his two piecers in conformation.

" Bedsides, I think this thing might just be of help as well" Chinonso added, his gaze landing on a certain something floating midair before him though he wasn't sure if Ebube could see it as well.

' Sigh...it's all the same, Wish they would at least change it to be a little different than the ones in the Novels ' Chinonso said inwardly, on seeing the multiple notifications he wasn't even bothered to read them at all.

" What thing...., wait, you mean you can see it?!" Ebube suddenly asked only to be stunned at the end.

" If you're talking about the glowing hollow panel in front of us then yeah any problem?" Chinonso asked wondering what the matter was.

" Don't you even know what that is?!!!" Ebube said, his voice clearly exasperated.

" No I don't?, why are you so syked up anyways is this thing supposed to be special or something?" Chinonso's blood red eyes dimmed and brightened once more, since he didn't have eye lids it looked like this was how his current body blinked.

A/N( syked means excited in slang)

" That's a system panel for crying out loud, You know the type that appears in fantasy, sci-fi, wuxia, and urban novels "

" And?, could you please get to the point already we still got a sister to find " Chinonso waved his left pincer, urging him to get on with it.

' This ungrateful idiot!, he clearly doesn't even know what he has!!!, darn it!, this isn't fair!, I thought systems only came in ones and not given to multiple people!" Ebube cursed inwardly.

Instead of veins clearly visible on his head as if they would pop at any moment, his luscious black fur was actually standing on end instead like an agitated cat leaving Chinonso to wonder whether he was surprisingly part feline.

A/N( feline is another word for cat).

Ebube stood there glaring at his older brother while trembling, he swore that he was just about to pounce on the ignorant fool when his older brother who he was irritated by suddenly started laughing.

" Hahahaha the fxck?, Ebube I didn't know you actually liked this stuff to such a degree hahahaha" Chinonso chuckled, dabbing at his eyes with his pincers as if cleaning his non existent tears from laughing so hard.

" Of course I know what a system is, geeze who do you even think lay'd the foundation you started on?" Chinonso added with a light chuckle.

" Boy it seems like you've forgotten who I am" Chinonso smiled proudly, but without lips his terrifying sharp maw was being shown instead.

' This Guy!!!' Ebube starred in shock and annoyance as Chinonso stood upwards on two of his pair of legs, thumbing his chest with his pincer.

Seeing such a made Ebube feel even more frustrated.

" Bastard!, I thought you were going to save Zara or something, Why aren't you gone yet!!" Ebube smacked at chinonso's head with his paws but with how tough it was it felt like a child's frustrated hit to him.

" Hahahaha fine fine I'll go, judging from what's written on here it says we've all got something called a Evo.System?, sounds almost similar to an Evo gun if you ask me" Chinonso snickered while glancing at the glowing holographic sight that maintained a certain distance Infront of him before walking off.

His 6 legs quickly went into action, he soon vanished into the forest of trees and bushes.

" ......I see that douche of an older brother is still just as annoying as ever.." Ebube shook his head feeling a little bit helpless before turning his attention away from the long gone Chinonso and back to his own holographic panel that looked similar to his older brothers.

" Well at least on the bright side, I got myself a system!, hahahaha" The black wolf laughed loudly though to any onlooker it looked as if the wolf was howling in pleasure Instead.

" Open status window!" He quickly said, not willing to waste much time in checking out the system but to his confusion nothing happened, instead the holographic panel remained the same.

" The f*ck?, what's going on?!" Ebube said, clearly confused by the sudden turn of events, it was a known fact that most systems would open up without a second more after one requested for the status window so what was going on here?!.

" I said open status window!" Ebube said once more, his voice louder than earlier, he thought maybe the system didn't hear him but still nothing happened.

" Your host say's you should open up the status window!" He growled angrily, his fangs fully visible yet like before nothing changed.

After failing consecutively Ebube decided to stop and ponder this a bit" No maybe am saying it wrongly?, uhh then is the correct phase open sesame?" He said but nothing happened.

" Presto change o?"

" Abracadabra?"

" Bomboclat?" No matter how many phrases he used nothing was happening, with each try the black wolf became even more irritated, he snarled in frustration wondering whether this system of his was actually busted.

" Dammit I said open up!" He growled, Ebube was just about to curse at it when he suddenly heard a beeping sound followed by an automated voice that emerged.

«[Beep!]»

«[Beep!]»

«[Incoming voice transmission from New Player, Evo-Scorpion]»

«[Would you like to accept the transmission?]»

" Wait, what the heck?, a transmission from someone?, but I don't even know who the hell that is....ohhh wait I think I might have an idea" he said in confusion only for his voice to turn annoyed at the end.

«[Would you like to accept the transmission?]» The system asked again.

" Yes..., answer it " Ebube replied, he rubbed his forehead with his paw like one who was awaiting an exhausting task.

«[. . . . . . .]»

«[Hello^^, Ebube can you hear me?]» a voice came through on the call and just like Ebube had expected it turned out to be chinonso's voice.

".....Yes I can hear you" Ebube said lightly trying his best not to let his emotions get the better of him.

"How on earth did you even manage to call on this thing in the first place?" Ebube asked clearly confused and curious as well, not to mention being able to contact him without his prior knowledge, the fact that the system was even capable of making calls was a shock for him in itself.

«[Huh?, wait your saying you don't even know how to call someone again?, are you sure this whole body change thing isn't affecting your mind Ebube...]»

"Idiot!!!"

" Of course not!, am perfectly fine!, I just wanted to know how you got it working in the first place!"

«[Woah so your saying you haven't even figured it out yet?, hahahaha if an idiot like me could do it then what does that make you?]»

"F*ck you!, just tell me already dammit!"

«[ Hey watch your language!, we still got some children audiences reading this, do you want to get us cancelled or something?]»

" The hell are you even talking about?!, stop spouting nonsense and tell me the god darned thing already!"

«[Geeze, fine fine I'll tell you, just stop with the cursing already will ya geeze....]»

«[So from what I've learned so far this system is way different from the rest we've read about]»

" Of course it is, if it wasn't do you think it would take me this long to figure it out!, just get to the point already!"

«[First of maybe try to calm down you idiot and listen to what I have to say, if you're not willing then I might as well just end this transmission....]» Chinonso said sternly.

On hearing this Ebube new beastly nature made him snarl unconsciously, he wanted to retort but on second thought, he decided to take a deep breath instead and just listen.

«[Better now like I was saying]»

«[unlike the normal systems, these one's we got are basically just a tablet/smartphone judging on the way it's designed]»

«[ To be honest, I seriously can't believe it took you this long to figure it out?, you sure you didn't fall or something?]»

" Idiot!"

«[Hahahaha says the guy who couldn't even get past the first panel, oh yeah that reminds me, I almost forgot about why I called, you see things aren't as simple as we thought, after this call quickly go to the news feed icon and catch up on what's happened recently, turns out in that brief moment we vanished and appeared here 10 years had gone by]»

«[ As for what really happened in between those years, Truth is even am still shocked by it!]»

«[ Ok I gotta go, I got my hands or should I saw pincers pretty swamped right now so I'll call you back when I return and Yeah, after this remember to firstly tell the system to return to home page then say initiate Evo-Assistant, that should make it easier for you to handle it]»

" Ok I think I get the gist of it but what do you mean your swamped, what happened did you find Zara, is she in trouble‽"

«[ Well Yes and No but Don't worry about it, it's just a simple hindrance shouldn't take too long, Ok am off^^]»

«[ Bye baby bro!^^]» Chinonso reassured his little brother.

«[Voice Transmission has ended. . . . .]» before Ebube could speak any further he had already ended the voice transmission.

" That idiot, saying it's no big problem when I bet it is!, Tsk~, what do I even care anyways, if he wants to die then so be it" Ebube harrumphed, his eyes looked annoyed yet if one looked closer they would see a tinge of worry within.

" Return to home page...." Ebube said and just like Chinonso instructed, the system panel finally changed, turning into a mesmerizing looking panel with several icon's and others on the screen.

" Hmm guess it actually worked, Nice ^^" Ebube cheered happily, truth be told he was simply ecstatic at the thought of getting his very own system, now just like the several heroes he'd read about in novels, manhua and manga, his story would be no different.

" Better to check on the News feed like Chinonso said, if it's true that ten years has passed I wanna know just what happened for him to point it out..." Ebube said, his tone filled with curiosity.

" Open News feed!" Ebube commanded but was left stunned afterwards.

«[E-Error....Advancement into News feed requires one evolution point per 1 minute]»

«[Current EP balance: 20]»

A system warning suddenly appeared leaving Ebube stunned yet he suddenly smiled the next moment, his scarlet eye's were filled with a sense of melancholy.

' At least this part feels like your usual system ' he chuckled lightly.

Meanwhile, somewhere else within the dense forest, Several bloodthirsty beast similar in appearance to wild dogs surrounded a duo, one 2 meter long black scorpion and a rare 2 meter long black crocodile covered in obsidian dark scales.

" Now as I was saying earlier...."

" Which one of you were the ones who lay'd a hand on my little sister?..." Chinonso asked yet the calmness in his tone was as chilling as frost, his cold blood red eyes gleamed coldly like unsheathed blade's.

His current demeanor was so frightening that even though the dogs still looked fierce and savage, non of them dared to look him in the eyes.

The reason for his rage was normal, he had just arrived here not to long ago and the first thing he saw was a black crocodile being besieged by several savage dogs, seeing the black croc and matching the footprints from earlier he was able to determine that the black croc Infront of him was his sister.

Watching her being attacked so ruthlessly by a bunch of rabid mutts though she wasn't severely injured due to her defensive scales, it was within reason that he would be enraged!!!.

After joining in on the fight the battle had turned into a stand still instead with neither sides willing to back down.

Since he had only just gotten this body he really wasn't sure he could use it to it's full capabilities and not to mention he was outnumbered to boot.

Nevertheless Chinonso still stood Infront of his little sister who was now a rare black crocodile covered in obsidian black scales, she trembled lightly, her head poking out from behind him ever so often while he shielded her from the pack of savage beasts who looked as if they were gonna attack at any moment.
