This time, his arrogance immediately vanished, and he could finally lower his head in front of her. He was willing to do everything just to win her back.

Chapter 1 Don't Dirty My House

The hands of the clock on the white wall struck ten o'clock. A woman in white was still sitting in front of the dining table. The food had already turned cold. Her beautiful eyes glanced at the clock from time to time. There was a trace of deep loneliness in them.

'Maybe he won't come back for dinner tonight either, ' Elsa Xia thought inwardly.

She had been waiting for him like this many nights. But her husband, Brad Su, always didn't come home for dinner. This wasn't new to her anymore. As a matter of fact, in the five years that they were married, he had only joined her for dinner a few times.

Elsa Xia couldn't help but sigh. She stood up and put all the dishes into the fridge. When she finished cleaning up the table, she heard the front door open.

She knew that her husband came back. Her heartbeat quickened in an instant.

Indeed, he was home now. However, he reeked of alcohol, and there was an enchanting woman beside him.

"Wow! Mr. Su, is this your house?"

The woman's shrill voice resounded through the silent living room. Elsa Xia frowned as she walked out of the dining room.

"Who are you?" she asked.

The woman's seductive eyes stared at her for a while and looked away disapprovingly.

She turned to Brad Su and asked coquettishly, "Mr. Su, who is she?"

Although he had drunk some wine, he was still sober. The moment he saw Elsa Xia, a trace of cruelty flashed across his eyes.

He answered, "She's my servant."

Elsa Xia was taken aback. Her face turned pale at once. She never thought that she was just a servant in his eyes.

The woman turned to look at Elsa Xia again. Her voice was full of mockery when she said, "Oh, so you are a mere servant." With a bitchy smile, she added, "It's great then. Please give us some tea."

Elsa Xia didn't say anything. She just took a deep breath and turned around to go to the kitchen. After preparing two glasses of cold water, she returned to the living room. She put one glass on the table and poured the other on the woman's face.

"Ahhh!" the woman screamed in horror. She stood up and looked at her wet dress. Her wet hair covered her face. She looked so messy. "Bitch! Do you know how much this dress cost?" she shouted at Elsa Xia.

Elsa Xia sneered. "Get out of my house now. Or else, I will not only ruin your dress, but also your face."

The woman had thought that Elsa Xia was easy to bully. But when she saw the darkness in her eyes, she felt a chill down her spine.

Brad Su stood up and slapped Elsa Xia across the face.

"What's wrong with you? Is this how you entertain our guest? Where are your manners?"

Elisa Xia covered her face and looked at Brad Su.

Feeling heartbroken, she said, "My manners are long gone."

Before Elsa Xia met Brad Su, she was all alone. She had no one to rely on but herself because she lost her parents and relatives when she a child.

"Well, what can I expect from an orphan like you? Of course, a child raised by no one has not learned any manners at all," Brad Su said sarcastically.

"Mr. Su..."

The woman walked up to Brad Su weakly and snuggled into his arms. Obviously, she felt proud that he scolded Elsa Xia for her.

"Don't waste your time with a servant. Let's go upstairs,"

Brad Su said as he gave the woman an evil grin.

They turned around and left Elsa Xia behind. But when they reached the foot of the stairs, she stopped them.

"If you want to do something obscene, do it somewhere else. Don't dirty my house!"

Brad Su turned around and stared at her coldly.

"Your house?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Elsa, let me just remind you that your name is not on the property certificate of this house."

Chapter 2 I'll Go

After hearing what Brad said, Elsa felt like a bucket of ice-cold water was poured all over her body. Before, her father-in-law had planned to add her name to the property certificate of this house. But since she was already married to Brad, she thought that it wasn't necessary, so she refused. If Brad didn't mention it just now, she wouldn't even remember it. And she didn't expect that he would use it to embarrass her in front of another woman. It felt like a sharp knife was slowly cutting her heart.

"But still, I won't allow this woman to stay in my house." Elsa straightened up, raised her chin, and stared at the woman. She wanted to let the woman know that she had the authority as the hostess of this house.

But Brad continued to abash her. "You won't allow her to stay here? Who do you think you are?" he sneered and glared at Elsa.

Elsa shifted her gaze from the woman to Brad. She knew that if a couple fought, one of them should give in to avoid aggravating the situation. In their case, she was always the one who backed down. That was because she loved him, and she didn't want to anger him more.

So, she said, "Okay. If you want her to stay, I'll leave."

She then ran out of the villa without even changing her slippers.

"Idiot!" Brad cursed in a low voice.

It was still raining outside. If Elsa got all wet in the rain and fell ill, his father would definitely blame him again.

"Mr. Su, since she has left, shall we go to your bedroom now?"

the coquettish woman said as she wrapped her soft arms around Brad's neck.

To her surprise, he looked at her coldly and yelled, "Fuck off!"

His voice was colder than the rainy night outside. The woman froze in fright.

"I said, go away. Didn't you hear me?"

Brad was a very handsome man. People said that God had perfectly carved every contour of his face. When he smiled, he was like a lovely child, making people really fond of him. But as soon as he pulled a long face, his gloomy aura was enough to make people tremble with fear.

The woman shivered. She couldn't help wondering why her client tonight seemed so unpredictable. But she didn't have enough time to care about it anymore. She hurriedly ran out of the villa without looking back.

Brad sat in the living room quietly, looking outside the window. His deep-set eyes were staring ahead. No one knew what he was thinking. The rain hadn't stopped yet, but he didn't bother to look for Elsa.

After a while, the front door opened, and Elsa walked in. She was drenched, and her body was trembling. When she saw Brad sitting on the sofa, a trace of darkness flashed across her beautiful eyes.

However, she was too tired to confront him, so she didn't say anything. All she wanted right now was a relaxing hot bath and a good rest.

"Stop!" Brad suddenly said.

Elsa paused and glanced at the clock on the wall. She was gone for two hours. The time she gave them was already enough for them to finish doing that thing. But Brad was still wearing the same clothes. Did it mean nothing had happened?

Thinking about it, Elsa couldn't help feeling happy. Perhaps he still cared about her feelings.

"What's up?" she asked, trying to restrain her voice from trembling.

"It's been two hours. Where have you been?"

At least Brad knew that she was out of the house for two hours. Actually, she regretted that she didn't bring an umbrella. She didn't even have a single penny in her pocket. For two hours, she stood under the eaves of someone else's house. In the dark and hazy night, she prayed that Brad would come out and look for her. But she just fooled herself. Her prayer was not answered.

"I didn't go anywhere," she replied.

Elsa felt really cold now. She wanted to take off her wet clothes and change into comfortable pajamas. The temperature in autumn was really not favorable for her. Moreover, she hadn't eaten anything yet. Her body was cold and hungry.

"Run a bath for me," Brad said coldly.

Elsa turned around in disbelief. She couldn't believe her ears. She was soaking wet. Brad didn't even tell her to change her clothes first. Instead, he ordered her to prepare the bathtub for him.

Brad glanced at her, then looked at his watch.

"You have five minutes."

Chapter 3 The Marriage She Asked For

Elsa opened her mouth to complain. She couldn't even change her clothes in five minutes. Besides, she also wanted to take some medicine to prevent herself from catching a cold. But on second thoughts, she closed her mouth and turned around.

She struggled to go upstairs and went to Brad's room. Ever since they got married, they never slept together. Brad used the master bedroom while she used the guest room. These two rooms were very far from each other.

Elsa ran the bath in a daze. She wished that after filling the bathtub, she could dip herself into it. She didn't know how long she stayed in the bathroom, and she didn't notice that she had fallen asleep.

When she woke up, she was already lying in the big bed. Her wet clothes had been changed as well.

Elsa looked around, wondering where she was. It was dark, so she wasn't sure if she was in her room. The last thing she could remember was she was running a bath for Brad. She couldn't understand why she was in bed now.

"Are you awake?"

Elsa was a little surprised when she heard Brad's voice. It was only then that she noticed a flicker of flame at the corner of the room.

He was smoking.

She frowned when she smelled the cigarette smoke. It wasn't good for her throat because she would always suffer from chronic inflammation every time she inhaled the smoke.

She cleared her throat to let Brad know that she was really awake now.

He seemed to understand because he immediately stubbed out the cigarette in his hand.

The curtains were not closed, so under the pale moonlight that penetrated through the window, Elsa could see Brad's figure moving closer to her. She felt like her heart was in her throat.

"Elsa, don't you get tired of running away from home every time you get angry?"

he sneered coldly.

"I went out to give you and that woman some privacy. You should be happy about that."

Earlier this evening, she was so sad. Then when she saw another woman in her house, she got hysterical. But now, her body felt numb. Only God knew what she was going through. Brad didn't know that she always went out because she didn't want to totally lose her love for him. If she fought with him all the time, she might fall out of love with him soon.

Elsa was stunned when Brad's big hand grabbed her chin, forcing her to raise her head. He looked straight into her eyes and said, "I didn't know that you have become so generous."

Brad could still remember the first time he had brought a woman home. He had deliberately chosen the room next to Elsa's and asked the woman to groan loudly on purpose to provoke her. As he had expected, she had banged the door outside and roared, asking the woman to get out of the villa.

Elsa did not answer. But there was a look of sadness in her eyes.

The truth was, she didn't want to be generous at all. No woman in her right mind would want to share her husband with other women. But if she continued to fight with him, it wouldn't change anything. She couldn't stop Brad from bringing women to their house. Perhaps Brad wanted her to stay and watch him flirting with other women to make her life more miserable.

Brad let go of her chin and added, "Elsa, don't pretend that you are aggrieved. After all, this is what you asked for."

Brad was wrong. She had never asked for this kind of life.

Elsa smiled bitterly. She felt a throbbing headache.

She lifted the quilt and got up to get some medicine. But as soon as she stood up, she felt like the room was spinning. Brad was so close to her, but he didn't even bother to help her. He just watched her collapse on the floor awkwardly.

"Don't pretend to be dead. It won't have any effect on me."

Elsa didn't expect that Brad would be that cold-blooded. Although she felt weak all over, she mustered all her remaining strength and stood up. She was trembling, but she didn't want to lose the last bit of pride left in her.

"I know that. Because in your heart and in your eyes, only that woman matters to you."

She didn't mention any name, but she saw that his eyes darkened.

"Elsa, since you asked me to marry you, you should enjoy your life now,"

Brad countered. He then turned around and walked out of the room without looking back. Elsa was left alone, staring blankly ahead.

'Brad, if I had only known that our marriage would end up this way, I wouldn't have asked for that day, ' she thought inwardly.
