Chapter 1 Meeting Alex

Victoria opened the door to her hotel room, and entered inside.

She sluggishly nestled herself on the soft sofa in the parlour area and went through her phone for a quick while.

After regaining her strength, she stood up and headed towards the kitchen section of the room. The room was elegantly spacious and conducive.

It had everything she needed;

A small parlour with a white sofa and a small wooden table at it's front-which was painted black;

A small convenient kitchen area, for anyone to prepare their food which she loved because it has been a long while she cooked for herself.

She ordered for a bag of groceries and when it was brought to her door she paid the waiter and went to her kitchen to prepare herself a delicious meal.

Afterwards, she quickly head to the bathroom to take a relaxing bath.

Her meeting with the CEO of a renowned company would take place in two hours time so in the meantime, all she wanted was to take a little break and relax as she waits for the meeting time.

She had agreed with the CEO's Assistant to meet at the hotel and talk about business there.

She plays some music and enjoyed the relaxing bath.

A handsome young gentleman stepped into the entrance of the hotel, stealing every souls' attention that were in the lobby area.

He was dressed in a jet black suit which hugged his masculine broad shoulders.

His shining chocolate brown hair was smoothly combed to the back while some strands fell flawlessly to the right side of his angelic face, highlighting his mysteriously attractive ivory-coloured eyes.

His well sculpted and pointed nose- beautifully thin and quite long.

His juicy dark-toned purple wet lips twitched to the left side, posing a dull and moody expression on his face.

At the corner of his right eyes had a slight dark mark- like a burnt scar.

This scar made his face look quite attractive but also scary.

His elegant stature was mesmerizing to the eye; his composure was to die for. His walking style was graceful, he looked like a model from another world; a world were only beautiful angels were specially made.

Everyone were awestricken by his outta world beauty. He was clearly the most handsomest guy anyone had ever seen.

Many girls drool over him, while other guys admire him.

Some other guys that had their girlfriends with them felt jealous of his appealing comeliness.

He elegantly walked to a chair and nestled himself comfortably as he waited for someone.

Another guy came in with a luggage, and headed to the receptionist.

The receptionist's attention was entirely on the handsomely sophisticated fellow that was seated on the chair beside the entrance.

The man gave a poker face expression, as his only attention was on his phone.

He never for once removed his face from the screen or even took a glimpse of his surroundings.

The other guy who was with the receptionist, walked up to the handsome fellow who was still so busy with his phone.

"Alexander Sir, your room is ready" he told the handsome fellow who was referred to as Alexander.

That was when Alex finally lifted his head and with a slight movement of his head, the man in front of him took his luggage and led him towards his booked room.

Alexander got into the room and after making sure everything was good to his liking, he finally opened his mouth.

"You can go now, Felix and make sure everything other things are ready" his voice echoed, authoritatively in the parlour area.

Felix simply bowed and exited the hotel room.

Alex sat down on the white sofa, and brought out his laptop. He started going through somethings but was rudely allured by the savoring aroma.

He darted his head to where the pleasing aroma was coming from and seeing the delicacy that placed on the table, his stomach growled.

His first thought was that it was Felix's doing so he hungrily head towards the kitchen area.

He dived into the delicious food in front of him and for the first time ever since he got to the hotel, he smiled.

Vicky sprung out of the bathroom and was utterly shocked to see another stranger in her room.

His back was facing her, so she didn't know who it was.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" His voice echoed for the second time in the room.

She flinched immediately after he spoke, his voice sounding so cold and heartless.

"I...should...be asking...you that?" She found herself stuttering.

The man turned around and Vicky's mouth dropped in awe as she laid eyes on his angelic face.

She swore within her that she wasn't dreaming.

He was a sight of absolute beauty, just sheer perfection.

Alex on the other hand was equally confused on who this lady was and why she was here in his room.

Vicky saw that Alex's eyes was still on her and it then dawned on her that she was on towel.

She subconsciously placed her hands on her chest and was about to jump back into the bathroom when her towel got caught on a nail.

She tried to pull it out but was just stuck there.

Alex chuckled silently as he stood up and walked towards her direction.

Sweats start to dripped down her forehead, embarrassment plastered on her face.

She turned her face away, avoiding to look at his.

She felt his hands on her waist and the other went to where her towel was stuck as he helped her.

However, rather than thanking her, she ends up slapping him, misinterpreting his help as a way of getting close to her.

He angrily demanded the reason for her doing so. "What was that for?" He angrily growled at her.

"You wanna take advantage of me? Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my hotel room?" She fired back at him.

Alex was totally stunned by her actions, no one has ever dared to raise their voice at him let alone raise their hands, but this lady over here had done so.

Chapter 2 Heartless Alex

"FYI(for your info) this is my room" was his response.

"Excuse you?" She angrily walked towards the table and picked up the landline phone.

"This is my room and I want you out right now or I call the security on you!" She tells him, rudely.

"Excuse me woman, you're the one who's getting confused. This is my room so why are you here? "He replied anger evident in his voice.

"This is my room, I got here before you! "

"But I had booked on this room before you!" Alex was really trying to keep his cool with this woman which surprised him.

"No way, if it so then why wasn't I given a different room, you stalker!"

"Stalker?!" He was really stunned.

All his life, he has been used to being the one who was stalked but now, he was being accused of stalking.

And who, this worthless lady over here?

"Be careful young lady! Don't test my patience!" Alex banged his hands hard on the wall in exasperation.

This startled Vicky.

"You're lucky that I didn't lay my hands on you. If it were possible, something more would have happened with you being on that towel but..." he paused his sentence as he walked towards the kitchen table and took his phone.

Vicky kept looking at him, heart racing rapidly as she hugged her chest with her hands.

His statement just now scared her dearly, especially with the way he looked at her so she immediately rushed towards the bathroom.

"No need, I won't touch you. You're not my type anyways" she heard him say just as she got closer to the bathroom door.

Hearing him say this, made her burn with anger.

"Neither are you? You're just a crazy psycho who...! "She was short of words

"Ughhh!" She angrily barged into the bathroom and jam the door tight on him.

Alex hissed as he dialed up Felix's number and ordered for his presence along with the manager's.

Alex went to the balcony to give Vicky some space as he waited for Felix.

Felix arrived after a few seconds and it was Vicky who answered the door. He was confused as well but seeing her facial expression, he quickly composed himself.

She posed a puzzled face and Felix could tell what she was thinking.

He answered her, without her saying a word and told her the reason for his presence.

Alex soon arrived and demanded the reason why a woman he knew nothing about, is present in his room.

The hotel turned to Vicky. "Ma'am, please how did you get here?"

"Don't tell me you would ask that. I booked this room and I had already settled myself comfortably only to take a shower and then find a man in my room!" She immediately pressed her complaints.

"Go ask your receptionist, because I know that I booked a room here, and specifically told her my choice was any room in the second floor that should have all these features" she stressed out her anger even further, pointing at the room, parlour and kitchen areas.

"I'm sorry ma'am for the inconveniences we would dive more into this matter, please come with me" the manager pleaded with the both of them, Alex and Vicky.

The reached the lobby area and there the manager interrogated his receptionist.

Vicky kept stealing glances at Alex, completely blown away by his beauty.

Though, she was still offended by what had happened and how he had treated her so she shook off the admiration towards his gorgeousness.

Her phone beeped and she saw a missed call from Kristen. She called back and told Kristen everything that had happened.

"What?!" Kristen screams could be heard from the phone.

"That's what happened. What's worse is that, he's so arrogant and not tactful one bit" Vicky vented.

"Okay girl, you know what. You need to be calm, remember you have a meeting to attend to so don't get stressed" Kristen tried to pacify her over the phone.

Vicky forced herself to act calm, because of Kristen's words and just waited for the manager.

After a while, the manager appeared in front of them again with the receptionist.

She bowed her head feeling quite sorry for her grave mistake.

The receptionist apologizes to Vicky. "I'm sorry ma'am, I should have given you another room but I was so caught up with something else that I didn't remember the room was earlier booked"

Vicky looked stunned why Alex's lips curved into a mocking smirk.

"You just embarrassed yourself young lady" Alex insulted Vicky.

"The fault is from the receptionist not me. I had only fought for my right over the room because I paid for it" Vicky immediately responded back in a defensive mood.

"I'm really sorry, Miss" the receptionist apologizes again.

"Don't be sorry, because you should be fired" Alex cut her off, startling everyone.

"What do you mean Sir?" The woman asked with worried eyes.

"You heard me. Listen Mr manager, you need to fire people like her or I leave this hotel and give your company a bad feedback on the internet" Alex threatened, sounding so heatless.

Vicky was appalled by his cunning outburst but immediately darted her eyes to the manager to see what he would do.

Vicky was indeed angry about the foolish mistake done by her but wasn't that heatless to make her get sacked.

That was really harsh. The only punishment she could give to the lady is to suspend her from work or deducted from her salary as a compensation for her mistake but sacking her from the work, was absolutely unjust and tactlessly unwise.

The manager knew just how powerful Alex was and how capable he was to do what he wants.

He couldn't just let his company get dragged to the mud because of the foolishness of a mere receptionist.

Without wasting any more time, he sacked the already crying lady from her work and demanded she be thrown out of the building.

Vicky felt guilty for what happened to the lady, and followed her immediately.

"Please don't go" Vicky begged her.

Chapter 3 Meeting the CEO

Vicky begged the lady not to loose hope.

"Please, don't give up. I'm sorry you lost your job because of me" Vicky apologized.

"It's not your fault miss, I was too careless" the woman said amidst tears.

"Everything would be fine okay" Vicky tried to encourage her and patted her back.

Even if Vicky didn't like what just happened, she couldn't do anything about it because the manager had already made his decision.

Anger filled her heart towards Alex. He was really unjust and no different from those horrible rich people who take pride in hurting people.

She turned around to leave when she mistakenly hit the lady's bag, sending it flying towards the floor and all the contents scattered everywhere.

Vicky's eyes landed on a picture of an old lady whom looked quite ill.

She took the photo in her hands and stood up, utterly shocked. She looked familiar.

"Who's she?" Vicky asked.

"My mother, she's really sick and my job was the only thing that kept me going to be able to pay her hospital bill" answered the lady.

"Sorry about that. You know what, why don't you call my number by Eleven in the evening?" Vicky went through her pockets and brought out a card.

She handed the card to the lady after she was done gathering everything into her back.

The lady seemed confused so Vicky smiled at her.

"Just call me okay, I'll have to go" Vicky immediately told her patting her back and then ran back into the hotel entrance.

The manager then told her that he would give her another room, because Alex was adamant on taking her room.

She was too occupied to argue any further and just agreed with the manager instead.

She went to get her stuff and moved to another room.

She entered into Alex's room without notice and found him already half naked, with a towel tied around his waist.

"Ahhhh!" She screams, feeling embarrassed.

Her screams startled him. He was actually on a phone call and didn't notice her presence in the hotel room.

He turned around to find her facing the door.

He laughed, loudly at her attitude for a little while and almost immediately, his face returned to his usual poker face.

"Now who's the stalker? What are you doing here?!" He thundered angrily.

"Sorry, I actually came here to get my things and I didn't see you there"

"Don't piss me off woman, I have a meeting to attend to so get the f*ck outta here! " He rudely told her.

"I also have a meeting to attend to as well, so don't call me jobless! And I don't want to even waste a single second with a stupid and heartless man like you!" She insults him back and head to the cupboard.

Alex could only laugh, not at her but himself.

This woman here has been rude to him since but he hasn't done anything about it.

He was even more surprised to find himself, keeping his cool with her ever since and all she does is to insult him.

He felt seriously humiliated.

When she was done, she grabbed her wrist and threw her out of his room, along with her luggage in her hands.

And afterwards, he shut the door on her face.

Felix came in much later.

He could feel the burning anger that Alex was emitting through his fierce gaze.

He was sitting on the sofa, still going through something in his laptop

"Cancel the meeting" Alex's word made him halt.

"But... the lady is already here" Felix complained.

"So...?" Alex cut off him off.

"You can't just cancel the meeting at the last minute!" Felix felt angry with Alex. Why does he have to be so full of himself.

"Will you now raise your voice at me?!" Alex was also getting irritated.

Felix simply walked out on him, unsure of how to answer Alex anymore. He was just too annoying and Felix just didn't want to get on his bad side, not today.

Alex called back Felix and told him not to cancel the meeting anymore.

He went into the bathroom to get prepared.

Vicky was having a slight headache so she took some painkiller pills to relax her brain.

A message from her business clients popped in her phone with a beep. She realized it was almost time so she quickly head towards the bathroom and took a quick shower.

She prepares herself and grabbed her phone in her hands; and made a phone call.

"Alicia, are everything ready?" She asked over the phone.

"Yes Vicky, everything is ready. The business man and his assistant are on their way to the conference room already" the lady answered

"Okay, make sure to keep them company for a while till I get there, okay?" Vicky told her and ended the phone.

As Vicky was heading towards the conference room, she bumps into someone. It was Danielle

Danielle is one of her close friends, though not as close as Kristen.

Danielle used to help her during tests back in the days of highschool.

"Hello Vicky, been a long while, how are you?" She asked Vicky, looking quite stunned.

"I'm alright, Danielle" Vicky helped Danielle with her things that had spilled all over the floor.

"I'm sorry, Danielle. How are you?" Vicky asked as the girls stood up.

"I'm fine, I'm here with my husband, Carl" she said, as she winked at someone passed Vicky.

"Oh, anyway I gotta go now. I have a meeting to attend right now, we'll get in touch later" Vicky quickly told her as she looked over at her wristwatch.

Seeing that she is five minutes late, she couldn't afford to delay any longer so she left Danielle after saying her goodbye.

Danielle could only watch Vicky leave as she shook her head. "Oh Vicky, ever so serious" she laughed inwardly.

Vicky hurried her steps and reached the conference room.

Getting there, she was dumbstruck to find who she never thought she would.

It was none other than the arrogant fellow who had stalked her in her room.

It was Alex...
