Chapter 1 Bullet 1

Bullet 1

..

..

19 August 2041, a record of disappearance of a young man in St. Louis at 8:52 am.

21 August 2041, another record of disappearance of a high-school girl again in St. Louis at 4:05 pm.

25 August 2041, a new record of disappearance of a little child in St. Louis at 11:30 am.

2 September 2041, another odd record of disappearance of a male adult in St. Louis at 10:22 pm.

15 September 2041, many different records of disappearance of many different people in the same area with different times.

The police and FBI of the United States had been puzzled with those weird occasions as they did not find any clues of a serial murder roaming around the peaceful city, in addition to not finding any trace of the disappeared around the city or in the whole country, as if the Earth had split and swallowed them inside its guts. The cases were rather impossible and unrelated, so the investigation showed that these events were probably natural or even not related to a same criminal. Many had suggested that the young man had committed a suicide because he was fired from his job, the girl had ran away with her lover, the child had been probably kidnapped or lost, the adult man had traveled and many other excuses to proof a logical event.

"It is mostly impossible for these cases to be related," stated Baker Johan, an FBI agent "since we all know that the victims are not similar in any trait nor even knowing each other, also the times of the disappearance are different, in addition to vanishing in various points of the city and finally all of them had different reasons to disappear!"

Since crimes occur frequently around the city, the policemen thought that these cases were separated ones, however the FBI teams thought it differently, since that time, all of the bodies were nowhere to be found and those people were unable to contact them or answer their phones. So, they thought it was a strange case and totally not a normal occurrence, and the only mutual concern in all of those casea was the disappearance of all of the people.

"I say that these cases are related, and probably the criminal is messing with us!" replied Williams Emina, the supreme beauty and a genius detective of the FBI "All of these cases have the common mystery, where did those people disappear? If they were killed, where are their bodies located? There is no signal of their devices nor any trace of their shadows, did the criminal hide them in a place we can never expect? Or did he bury their corpses? Or even melting them with acids and chemicals? Or did he build a mansion of cemented above their dead bodies? Or any of inhumane methods to hide a human?"

"You surely have a broad imagination, miss Williams." Claimed Roberts Joseph, a smart agent "If he had buried someone could have noticed, if covered them with cement we can find a new building and search it and if he melted them we might have received a notice that someone sold chemicals or missed some. However, there is no logical interpretation except being alive until now but still disappeared."

"I approve Joseph's interpretation!" assured Nelson Flora, another detective "It is the most logical thought, I mean the girl had a fight with her parents because she slept with a guy, so probably she ran away with him afterwards, the young man was fired from his job and his fiancé had left him after he lost his money source so probably he had committed suicide, the adult one was already aiming to travel outside the country for a vacation so maybe he lost his phone somewhere, and finally the kid was a naughty one maybe he lost his way home and someone found him or he faced an accident.."

"Ok, so we can say that two of them are probably dead," replied Emina "then, where are the bodies? We had searched the young man's house, his neighbors' and the city for many days and found nothing at all, where could he have committed a death sentence?!"

"Are you referring again to the theory that they are killed by the same one?" mocked Wright Moses, a police officer "Because that's ridiculous, please get yourself together and think like the genius Emina. If the bodies were hidden around we might have found them after we scanned the city."

"What if they were hidden outside the city?" suggested Emina

"There is no way," answered Flora "since all of the cases were reported after one to three days of disappearance, so the criminal could not have teleported more than six bodies out of St. Louis without anyone noticing, and if he had took them one after another then it will be surely recorded who were leaving constantly out of the city."

"We have to search more about this subject and check all of the cameras, ask the police around, search every brick of the cities around and notice any abnormal change!"

"I trust your judges, Emina!" stated Lewis Mehmat, a young agent who loved Emina deeply, admired her genius interpretation and respected her as his upperclassman "I believe you will always solve this case as the other ones and surprise us with your genius interpretation, after all you are the Holmes of our age!"

"I believe, too, in senior Williams," committed Johan "but this case is different than the others, it is a bit of illogical so we have to depend on reasonable interpretation more than instincts. But, I will always obey senior Emina's commands."

"It surely is exaggerating, Emina's intelligence," added Joseph "but I believe that she is wrong this time, however I am willing to obey her too."

"I will do as you wish, Emina." Replied Flora "but you will regret it if you were mistaken! I warn you!"

..

..

Emina was considered a propheted genius with remarkable intellectual and creative function, she was not as simple as people call smart or having a high IQ, but a worthy of the genius status, where she had weird traits including over creativity, self-awareness, isolation, and an innate ability to ask questions few others have never asked.

She owned this special trait having an inquisitive nature, where she developed new ways of thinking, interpreting and uncovering previously unexplored ideas, with the deep desire to pursue knowledge in an almost obsessive manner, beyond what the average person may consider reasonable, in order to catch the threads of any abnormal case.

In addition to that, she always tended to think about problems and concepts in a much more dynamic way, so she always disapprove information and facts on face value. Instead, she would want to defy and test conventional thinking of other people. Many colleagues consider talking to her could be tricky and risky, as she might wish to challenge their way of thinking.

Always pushing boundaries and taking risks was one of her oddest traits as she was not ever satisfied taking the safe route, especially if she felt she was about to making an important discovery. She always put her life at risk, whether physically or in regard to the progression of her career, but ultimately that always lead to ground-breaking work.

Finally, she found it hard to conform to a normal routine, especially because she constantly had ideas and questions running through her weird minds. Very often, she was nocturnal and would continue to explore her ideas and come up with new explanations while everyone else were fast asleep.

Emina was a unique one in her team which leaded to many people hating her and being jealous, so she made a lot of enemies even though she was the life saver of all situations..

Chapter 2 Bullet 2

Bullet 2

..

..

Ever since she was a young girl, she was a devotee of inspectors, detectives and policemen which resulted to making her more curious of that major, reading books, stories, news and cases, solving high IQ riddles and visiting the crime scene. Emina was an exceptional girl on both physically and mentally traits as she was a breath-taking beauty, she had an adorable face that any human might think it was a pearl, and a couple of fruity cheeks that looked pinkish like cotton candies with silky golden locks framing her sweet childlike face, a pair of sapphire eyes dipped in creamy pools and lips that looked like cherries. Therefore, she was adored and admired by many people around her for her special self.

At the age of 16, the genius Emina had solved a crime that was as impossible as the one she was solving back then, when most if the detectives could not even reach out for the truth. At the age of 19, she was demanded by the FBI to join their forces together, then, she became a great detective that could solve any odd case, solved over 100 crime, caught many perpetuator, and served the US wholeheartedly. However, at the age of 26, she had faced the most dangerous and hard case to ever face.

..

..

On 19 September, two days had passed after the investigations, Emina had to visit with her team the neighboring cities and investigate them thoroughly. They asked for more than five thousands of police men with a one thousand police dogs that were trained intensively in order to catch the glimpse of any given odor and many radar screens that could locate the victims' cell phones or contact numbers.

Emina started her further investigation in Memphis, where many policemen surrounded it daily at day and night, since it is not a very safe city, especially when it was a tourism season. First of all, she searched in new buildings, garbage dumps, abandoned mansions, Shelby forest and other random places, but the results were fruitless even with the large number of officers and dogs. However, she did not give up as she felt that she might get a simple clue anywhere that might lead her to the obvious truth, so she asked all of the citizens in the street and stores, showing them the pictures of the disappeared and questioning whether they met them anywhere in the past days or saw them with someone around. But, her several questionnaires were in vain since they did not result in a hopeful results.

The next day, on 20 September, to Chicago, the Windy City and the third-largest city in the United States, which was famous for its basketball team, deep pizza's and buzzing nightlife was also known for its crime rate and was the one-time stomping ground of Al Capone. Petty crime is one issue, but some of the city's residential areas are hotspots for gang-related crime which has led to some alarming statistics. So, Emina also expected to find some odd crimes around that large city and any clue leading to the real criminal. She just did as before in Memphis and searched for traces of the bodies asking people around and showing the disappeared photos, until she reached for the same hopeless results as Memphis's, when her teammates started to feel awkward..

Another round for Evansville on 21 September, a city with a crime rate of 48 per one thousand residents, which had one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes – from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. And then to Springfield, Peoria, Louisville and even Dallas, until all of her colleagues felt annoyed and upset about her and the investigation, where they were pretty sure that these were a random difference occurrences with different methods and reasons.

"Williams, please give up, we all know that you are a genius but you might make mistakes!" stated Joseph "Please, tolerate your mistake and let us return to our home city, we have already lost a lot of time!"

"Senior Williams, I suggest to continue our investigations in St. Louis," assured Johan "and label them as logical disappearance like running away with a man and traveling!"

"You are convincing me that six people had disappeared in the one month just as idiot excuses?" replied Emina "Had they all decided to disappear together at once and never contact this world again?!"

"Emina, stop being selfish and think wisely, do you think if it happened for you to solve some cases by chance means you know everything and your always a righteous?" yelled Flora "Just let us finish our investigation as we find it the best and stop forcing your naïve suggestions on us!"

"What do you mean by solving by chance, Flora? Have all of my cases been solved on their own? Who solved them? An angel of investigation? Don't you even remember that you have never solved a single case on your own? I am the leader here! I take you all wherever I want and investigate wherever I find it essential, you have to obey my commands no matter what they are! So please, know your limits and let me focus!"

"Yes! Focus on your useless thoughts and force us to lose time in far cities so that the criminal might escape St. Louis! Let us see what your thoughts may result with!"

"Oh please, ladies!" interrupted Johan "Nelson, senior Williams, please calm down, this is a no time for fighting!"

"I believe in your choices, miss Emina, you will surely find a fruitful result." Commented Mehmet "I will follow you wherever you go!"

"Thank you, Mehmet." Thanked Emina who was depressed and disappointed. "Let us head to Houston, I know some people who might be able to help us there.."

Finally, on 22 September, Emina decided to go to Houston as the last resort, hoping she might touch the thread of the solution in there. So, she started her search from the brick of the dawn with thorough attention to the situation in the city and to people's statements, knowing that one of the disappeared had a link with someone in Houston. As a result, she increased her caution and work..

Chapter 3 Bullet 3

Bullet 3

..

Upon reaching Houston, Emina started to search in every corner of city, just as she did in other cities for the whole day, until she asked an old man who was passing through the streets about the girl who had disappeared a while ago. The man happened to know her and assured that the girl could not have ran away with a man.

"Do you know that girl in the picture, sir?" asked Emina "I do not know if you knew that she had disappeared many days ago."

"I do, miss officer," he replied "this girl is the granddaughter of a golf friend of mine, we play alot of golf from while to while and sometimes he brings his granddaughter with him. I believe that this lady could not have ran away with a guy, she is a mature one that always finds out a solution and tell her grandfather about her problems in order to solve them together. I do remember talking to her grandfather about a guy she loved but her parents rejected their marriage, so she asked him to convince her father, who is his son, to approve their marriage, I remember asking me a few questions about tje situation and how to treat her parents but the you can know the rest of the story from her grandfather personally, because I did not dig alot in the family's matters. But I am sure that she did not escape her parent's house since she is morale girl!"

"I am curious of what her grandfather might provide us with, so how can I get in contact with him? When can I meet him?"

"My friend lives in this city, however, he is currently on a trip outside, and I do not know when will he return.."

"I want his contact number if you please."

"It is my duty to serve the law, so mark down.."

Emina had caught a glimpse of hope in that city, although she wanted to meet up with that grandfather in person, however, she had to talk to him on her laptop to save time and find the truth as quick as possible.

..

..

At noon, Emina and her group went to the FBI agency in Houston, to the person whom she mentioned that she had known. She had confidently entered the building, where many people and agents were staring at her and mentioning that she was the propheted Emina, the genius one and most favorable detective. All eyes were mesmerized on her angelic beauty and her young age for being a detective, she suppressed many agents who had worked before her even for twenty years, so her reputation created an audience and a fandom of hers that wait only to see her passing.

"Is this the genius Emina?" asked agent 1

"Yes, she surely is, you can know her from her barbie looks and her smoky aura!" stated agent 2

"Oh my gosh, just let me take a selfie with you‼" insisted agent 3

"Isn't she younger than me? How come she has this fame?" wondered agent 4

"They say she did not solve a single case by herself!" mocked agent 5

"What do you mean? She is a genius!" assured agent 6

"Idiot, no. I have heard that someone solves all of the cases she faces and then she takes the credits." Claimed agent 7

"I do not think so, this girl is an exceptional." Stated agent 8

"Then, how do you interpret a 16 years old teenager solving one of the weirdest cases the FBI has ever faced!?" questioned agent 9

"It's totally intelligence!" answered agent 10

All of the agents started gossiping the very moment she entered, many voices fussed together like a traffic jam, all their voices were annoying as if the agency was a hive of bees. A team was on Emina's side defending her and the other team was against her calling her a lier and a hypocrite, in addition to accusing her of being a mage, stealing detectives' crefits, cooperating with the criminals and lying. Emina's young age and high reputation created many enemies and haters for her, and many of them tried to hurt and even kill her witg no mercy, however all of their actions were no threat for her.

..

..

On the door of an office in the western side of the building, a young gentleman wearing a classy black suit waited them and welcomed her wholeheartedly. His snowy white skin glowed and gleamed as if it was carved by frozen flakes with a long collar-length sooty coaly hair tied backwards bordering and lining his button nose and half-dome cheekbones that sat above an oaken jaw with a pair of soft Irish eyes crowning his face that twinkled like a galaxy. His wrestler's shoulders were part of his burly physique which anyone could know with only a look that he was an athlete, and he stood at the door with a lion like tread, as if he was the boss there. Whereas, his juicy aroma was appealing that could make any women's heart skip many beats. Although, he was not a male model nor any fairytales prince but he should have been for he was adored by the gentle cute sex.

"Welcome welcome, my old friend!" he called Emina with his spicy voice "Long time no see, Emina."

"I asked you not to call me by my first name anymore, captain Christen." Coldly replied Emina who was not showing any interest in him

"How cold of you, miss Williams. We can at least be best buddies, joke together, drink from time to time or play golf! However, you only come to me when you need help.. So sad.. So cruel.."

"I have no time for your games, captain Christen, so please let us finish our job."

"Ahhh, I love your cold attitude, it strikes through me. At least do not call me captain, we know each other for a long time."

"At 8:52 am on 19 August, we received a report of disappearance of a young man, at 4:05 pm on 21 August, another report of disappearance of a high-school girl, at 11:30 am on 25 August, a new report of disappearance of a little child, at 10:22 pm on 2 September, another odd report of disappearance of a male adult and finally on 15 September, two different reports of disappearance of two different people in the same area with different times were received. Do you have any idea?"

"Changing the subject, huh?... You are telling me that in one month about six people has disappeared into nowhere without being able to contact them nor hear any word from them?"

"Precisely."

"Do I have any idea? What do you think yourself?"

"I think it is being done by the same criminal.."

"I suggest it has nothing with series of crimes!" joined Flora "Maybe separate disappearances, since the victims have nothing in common nor any knowledge to each other, in addition to having their reasons to disappear from this world! Also, all of the victims were in different spots and times of the crime, which means that they probably disappeared on their own or another probability that there are different criminals."

"That's logical, detective Nelson!" replied captain Christen Thomas "I expect nothing less from you. What about you, young detective?"

"The criminal is one.." she murmured

"How.." he mocked

"Because.."
