Aleena's POV

This should be a kind of sick joke. I meant the person whom I wanted in my life as my mate was mated to my half-sister.

Alpha Daniel Grint was not just one of the strongest Alpha in this state but also was a person who was down to earth and loved his family more than anything. He was also the most handsome bachelor in the whole state. All the females would be loved to die for becoming his mate, and I was sure that many would have also prayed for it.

But because of two reasons, no female could reach near him.

One, he had made this crystal clear that if he chose someone as his Luna, then it would be his fated mate, no matter how long he would have to wait for her.

And second, I. I used to kidnap and torture any females till the moment they used to beg for their freedom and promised not to think or look at the person whom I had considered as mine. In fact, I had also made a perfect plan to get into Daniel's life at the right time, even though he wanted his fated mate.

It was not that hard to trap him; he was perfect husband material, so I needed to do was to drug him, sleep with and get pregnant with his pup.

Simple as that.

But things didn't go as per my plan.

Before I would have trapped him, he found his fated mate.

I gritted my teeth, recalling that moment again.

"Eva! Aleena! Hurry up, girls! The Alpha of Stone Moon Pack will be arriving here anytime soon.", Dad screamed for the nth number of times.

"Coming, Dad.", Evangeline, my half-sister, yelled back and looked at me before speaking. "What do you think? Why is he coming?"

"I have heard that his wolf has sensed his mate in this pack! So, that can be a reason.", I responded, applying lipgloss on my lips and seeing her making faces.

This girl had no sense of fashion and was all plain. I was sure that her own mate left her after seeing her like that.

Ewww!

"And I'm sure that I will be his mate.", I said, praying to Moon Goddess to let this be true so that I wouldn't have to trap him in my web. "Because an alpha needs an alpha female as his luna. Not some human.", I added, leaving no room for her to say that he could be her mate or something like that because hurting, dad's favorite daughter, was the last thing I wanted to do. Because of dad, both me and mom were behaving well with her without our wishes. Only if she could realize how much we hated her. I just wanted to go to Daniel's packhouse as soon as possible because I was getting tired of acting like a good sister in front of her.

Hearing a sound of a car horn, I realized he was there, leaving her in the room; I quickly ran out of our room to see him.

"Mom," I happily hugged her, showing my happiness to only people who understand me in a better way. "He's here."

"Yes! He's here, and he's for you.", she said, breaking the hug. "Finally, my princess is going to meet her prince charming.", She added, caressing my cheek, but I stopped her hand when I felt that there was no movement from my wolf until now.

"But my wolf is extremely quiet. She is not excited or pacing around my mind or doing anything, which is the symptoms when a werewolf shows before meeting their mate." I shared my tension. I was excited and happy, but at the same time, I wasn't a fool who would observe the indication. "Do you think someone else..."

"That will never happen, and even if that will be then, you know how to deal with that girl. You are smart enough to kick her out of Alpha Daniel's life."

"True.", I smirked.

Just after a second, I heard a gravely heavy voice of someone saying, "MATE," who was coming toward us. I didn't take much time to realize who was coming in this direction. Alpha Daniel Sam Grint.

"Alpha Daniel, you just can't enter my packhouse as if it belongs to you. You can stay here for a while. I'm sure my girls will be reaching here any moment.", I heard dad speaking.

"I apologize for that behavior, Alpha Williams. It's just my wolf is....excited and getting impatient."

"I can understand.", Dad said in an understanding tone. After a minute, I entered the living room and found more than fifty-two unmated females already there. Dad might have called all the unmated she-wolves here so that Alpha Daniel to find his mate, but it looked like they were not the ones whom he was searching for.

Alpha Daniel quickly stood up on his feet and walked toward me. This was the first time I was looking at him in real.

He was much more handsome than I had looked at him on the TV or newspaper. No, not just handsome but deadly handsome. With his 5'9' feet height, broad shoulders, well-muscled chest, flat stomach, and long legs, he definitely has got a body to charm any girl and woman. His well-sculpted face, strong jawline, sharp nose, and silky black hair were enough to make anyone drool over him, but what struck me the most were his brown eyes which were getting changed every moment. He sniffed for his mate's scent. Immediately his eyes darkened before he spoke.

"MATE"

Really? Was I his mate? And why the hell was my wolf not responding then?

"Oh! My younger daughter is your mate.", Dad said with a smile, but immediately his smile vanished when Alpha Daniel's pushed me away and walked toward the way from where I had come calling 'MATE, MATE' repeatedly.

"What kind of behavior is this?", My mother growled when she realized that he had pushed me away and then was entering inside dad's packhouse without his permission. Dad didn't say anything about it because it was a rule to corporate with that werewolf in finding his or her mate, and also, it was Alpha Daniel's wolf who was acting like this. He just followed him to check where he was going. While we, too, followed dad.

At this moment, there was only one person in the whole packhouse, who was inside the room, sitting lazily, hoping to meet with her mate.

'Please, Moon Goddess! Please don't be her.'

The door of the room, continuing both mine and Eva's, was slammed open, and he growled, "MATE."

Holy shit!

They kept staring at each other as if they were playing the staring game where they weren't allowed to blink their eyes until Dad introduced them to each other and also told him that she was a human, but on which he didn't react just like the way, I wanted to. It was rare when an Alpha was mated to a human, and even in those cases, those Alphas ended up rejecting his weakling mate, but he was not rejecting her.

That's why I couldn't help myself from speaking. "You need an alpha female like me as your Luna instead of picking a weakling as your Luna.", But he growled at me.

"This will be the last time you are disrespecting my mate. I believed in mates and mate bonds. So, there's no chance I'm choosing someone else over her.", he said using his Alpha tone, and immediately his eyes softened when they landed on her again. "Alpha Willams, please make necessary arrangements for your daughter's wedding.", he added.

"Marriage? This soon?" That weakling screamed in panic. If I would have been her, then I, too, would have been screaming but in joy.

"Yeah! That will be so soon, won't it? But don't worry, I have planned everything with me and also have a to-do list before your marriage."

"To-do list?"

"Yes, first I will try my best you make you feel special, then propose to you in an amusement park for the wedding, then after your YES, then we will think of our marriage, then marking and mating and the Luna Ceremony. What do you say?" he asked.

That weakling looked at dad, mom, and me. Dad understood her silent message and took us away from there, closing the door to give them some privacy.

"Your dad is damn too happy with this news!" Mom said. "And for the first, I hate my own mate.", She added. I didn't say a word about it because I was using in mind how to make Daniel mine. At the same time, I knew that I had to be very careful because until now, no one has been able to catch me because of my talent to work everything very smoothly and fine. But this time, things were a little different because I had never dealt with an Alpha male who would do anything to protect his mate before.

I had to spoil their relationship before they could even reach the stage of confessing their love for each other. I couldn't let them come closer to each other, and I wouldn't mind doing this by using wine, dine, or fine.

"What are you thinking, princess?"

"Something which I should.", I said, sipping wine.

"That's my girl," She smirked.

Aleena's POV

I pressed my lips tightly, trying not to think about what was going on behind the door, and maintained a small smile, hearing all the happy words which were coming out of dad's mouth for his favorite daughter.

'What are you doing here?' Leia, my wolf, questioned, catching me off guard. She is just the opposite of me, kind and thoughtful, while I was an evil bitch, so we rarely talked with each other. 'The equation between us is too great; neither she disturbs me anything nor do I.'

'Excuse me?'

'My question is simple. What are you doing here? You should apply to Hollywood. I'm sure they will take you as the lead villain of their movie.'

'Leiaaa..'

'What? Now don't tell me you felt bad after hearing my words because I thought you should have habitual of my regular insulting words. I...', I blocked her.

That was how our relationship was.

My ear rose like a rabbit when the door of our room opened after a few hours. Unlike humans, werewolves never mind all these things, even if this was the first meeting, as long as he or she was mates. They were allowed to mark and mate instantly.

Maintaining a wide smile on my face, I hugged my sister happily. "Congratulations."

"Thank you.", She muttered, blushing like a red tomato; only if she knew how much I wanted to crush this red tomato, then grind it into a mixture, then boil it to make tomato purry and then eat it by applying it on my burger.

"I hope you don't mind those words which I said at that time in front of your mate. I was just checking whether he wanted you as a human or not.", I said to explain myself.

"It's fine. And truth to be told, I'm glad that you raised that topic in front of him; otherwise, I would have done that."

"Congratulation again!" I smiled.

'And there goes an oscar award to the lady wearing fake smiles all the time,' Leia again popped up in mind to taunt me.

"Alpha Williams! Thank you so much for your patience.", Alpha Daniel said calmly. "And yes, I apologize for...."

"It's okay, Alpha Daniel. I know how we werewolves react when things come to mates.", Dad said with a smile and then looked at Eva! "So, what you two have decided?"

"We were thinking...In fact, I'm the one who was thinking if she could shift with me in my packhouse."

No! You couldn't take the things this fast because if that happened, then when would I get a chance to spoil everything?

Dad! Just say NO to it.

"Without Luna Ceremony?" Dad asked, raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah! Generally, Luna's Ceremony or Marriage is done before taking Luna to the packhouse, but at the same time, I don't want to rush things. I want my mate to feel that I'm with her because I wanted to, not because of my wolf. And then I have so many plans for her before Luna Ceremony."

"Hmm." Dad nodded his head before looking at Eva. "What do you want, Princess?"

"Dad, I want to go with him to know him better.", She responded bluntly, and there I thought she was not that type of female who jumped on the male at the first meeting.

Why was the hell situation not under my control?

I hated a situation like this when I couldn't control things as per my wish.

"All right, then! She can move in, but Aleena will also accompany you two and will stay in your pack until the Luna ceremony." Dad kept his condition to Alpha Daniel.

Yes!!!

His facial expression was telling me that he wouldn't take me with them, but then his mate would also not be able to go with him!

"Okay. Ms. Williams can come with us."

BINGO. This was the best help that dad could ever do t me indirectly.

Alpha Daniel helped Eva with her luggage in settling its own in the car even though his Beta, Stephen, and a few other guards were with me, but when I kept my luggage near Eva's leg with the hope that he would do the same for me, his expression changed, and he looked at his beta. I pinched Eva slowly when I saw two cars standing over there.

It was a silent message to her that she was not leaving me alone and I would be coming with her. She nodded and smiled, holding my hand.

Idiot.

When we saw Alpha Daniel walking toward the first car, we both followed him, but his steps halted soon, and he turned around, narrowing his eyes.

"Ms. Williams, you will be coming to my packhouse in the second car." I nodded my head and started dragging Eva with me to the second car, but I could move when Eva stopped walking. I turned around and found Alpha Daniel holding Eva's hand from the other side.

"Please forgive me! I didn't say the complete sentence at that time, you will be coming to my packhouse in the second car, but my mate will come with me in the first car."

"But dad said...

"I remembered that he had said that Aleena would also accompany us two but never did he mention that you will have to act like THIRD WHEEL between mates.", he said with a smile but in a sarcastic tone.

Immediately my wolf started howling in joy.

Alpha Daniel: 1

Aleena: 0

"Daniel, you are being mean!" Eva pointed out. Thankfully that idiot was by my side.

"Maybe! But even she should understand that...."

"Okay! Please, guys, don't argue with me. I don't have any problem sitting in the car, ALONE. You guys continue.", Saying this, I jerked my hand away from Eva's grip and hopped in the second car.

'5, 4, 3, 2...'

Before my counting would have been finished, the door of the car and Eva joined me too. I wanted to throw my hand up in the air on my small victory, but I couldn't. Eva was fuming in anger.

Yay! They finally fought, and now I had to make sure that they wouldn't get a chance to sort out the things between them, but a bucket of cold ice water was dropped over my happiness and plan when the door of the car opened again revealing Daniel.

If he was here to drag Eva to the other car, then he wouldn't be going to be successful because I knew my half-sister; once she had decided anything, then there was no way anyone could change her mind.

"Ms. Williams, please shift on a little.", He said.

'Please No! Idiot, Eva, just say NO and don't let him in, I thought and was about to shift when Eva held my wrist, speaking, "You are not shifting even an inch.", she said sternly and then looked at Daniel. "Only two people can sit, and the third person cannot be adjusted in such a small place.", She added.

"Okay, then."

Yeah! Leave now!

But what he did widen our eyes; he forcefully entered the car and then carried Eva in his lap.

"Driver, take the car toward the packhouse."

"What the hell...what are you doing?" Eva screamed, wiggling.

"Don't test my patience, Angel. So, stop moving your ass around my dick.", He warned her. I quickly looked away, and the driver of the car acted like he didn't hear anything.

I heard the sound of the slap on the clothes. "How could you say something like that in front of everyone? Don't you have any shame?"

"You were not feeling shame while doing it in front of everyone while I should feel shame while saying it. Huh?" he questioned back. Moreover, there was no use in hiding the things from them because they are werewolves; they would have smelt my arousal already."

"You're unbelievable.", She huffed. "Now, let me sit on the seat. Because I don't want to sit in your lap and let your little member poke my ass throughout the ride."

"Sorry, not happening.", he announced and mimicked her words to her, "Only two people can sit, and the third person cannot be adjusted in such a small place.", leaving no for argument.

"Daniel... I'm feeling uncomfortable.", She whined.

"Liar! You are enjoying it but are too stubborn to admit it."

Throughout the way, they kept arguing and fighting with each other, but even though Alpha Daniel didn't let her go from his lap. I wondered why they were still on talking terms after having so many differences between them.

'You won't understand that, so stop wondering.', Leia said, adding salt to my mouth. 'And I will pray to Moon Goddess that within seven days they....'

I blocked her before she would have completed her sentence. I need to do something very soon. Immediately I saw something running in the forest.

'Vampires!'

I knew what I had to do. Evangeline! You would have to die because Daniel was mine.

Aleena's POV

When we reached Alpha Daniel's packhouse, everyone over there was too good to be true. In short, they were no less than a saint.

There was a lot of love between the siblings and cousins.

And understanding and caring parents.

Not to forget, Aunt and Uncle as a second parents figure.

Knowing that Eva was Alpha Daniel's mate, everyone started treating her no less than a queen. While I looked out of the place but I remained calm, acting like I was happy for my sister, but deep down, I was thinking about how to take her place.

'Told you, no one beat you in the role of villain.', Leia taunted again. I wish I could just throw her out of my mind but then beat the shit out of it. But unfortunately, she was part of me. 'Yeah! Unfortunately for me too.'

I blocked her again so that I could rest in peace for a while.

"Alpha, where should I ask the others to keep the luggage of Luna?" Stephen, his Beta, asked Alpha.....wait I needed to say his name without using the word 'ALPHA' because mates never call each other by using the title.

I wanted to say NO, but then I knew that I didn't need to do anything because that idiot would do it for me because she wouldn't let me stay alone.

You see, that's the disadvantage of being thoughtful.

"Cut the formalities as for now, Stephen.", Daniel said in a casual tone. "Angel, you have met everyone personally but not my younger brother.", he added, walking toward his Beta and placing his hand around his shoulder. "He is not just my Beta but also the beta of the pack."

Huh! Beta, anything below Alpha, was nothing but an insect under my feet.

"Hello, Luna!" he greeted like a slave, bowing his head.

"Please call me, Eva."

"But that will mean disrespecting you. And I can't do that."

"Considering your point. Then you can call me by my name when we are with our family.", She suggested.

He nodded his head. "Okay, Eva!"

"That sounds better. And answering question to your previous question. No, Stephen. Please keep my luggage in the same room where Aleena's luggage will keep.", Eva said.

"But Eva, you should stay with your...." I acted with fake concern for her.

"Just because I find my mate, that doesn't mean I will leave you alone.", She said, cutting me in between.

And this was what I wanted.

"She won't be staying alone, Eva.", Nora, Daniel's sister, said. "Paige and I will be staying with her all the time, and I promise that we won't let her feel alone even for a while.", She added.

"Yes, we promise you that.", Paige, his cousin, said. "So, you can stay with our brother and spend quality time together."

"But.."

"Even your sister wants the same, don't you, Aleena?" Stephen, his brother, asked me for my final approval. Now could I say NO?

Nope! Otherwise, they would start thinking of me as a villain in my own sister's love story. Even though I was but I was not an idiot to expose myself on my own.

"Exactly. That is what I wanted her to explain, but then thanks to Moon Goddess that you all helped me." I expressed my happiness with a big smile.

Trust me! My mouth had started aching now by maintaining a continuous fake smile on my face.

"You sure about it?" Eva double-checked.

No.

"Absolutely."

"Okay! If you say so.", She mumbled.

"Stephen, you heard what my mate meant now."

"Yes, brother.", He responded, and mind linked someone to get this work done. "Now, you can enjoy your time with your mate while I will handle the pack duties for a few days."

"I have no idea what I will do without you.", Daniel said with a big smile on his face. "Thank you so much!"

"Yeah! Yeah! Now let go of me.", he said, shooing his brother away and leaving from there. This was the second time we met, not face to face, or we were introduced type, but he didn't even look at me and ignored me as if I did not exist.

That was strange.

'Maybe he's interested in looking at beautiful people inside and out instead of looking at the devil who had hidden her face under the mask of an angel.'

"Is Stephen always like this? I mean giving priority to work and always so formal?" Eva asked when that Beta left.

"Yep! Just don't mind him. He wasn't like this before, but after his mate's death, he had indulged himself in work so much that he barely spent time with us. Everyone misses the old him.", Daniel explained. "Please don't raise this topic in front of him because his mood takes 180 degrees whenever he hears about his dead mate."

"Oh, okay! But how did she die?"

"One of the hunter clans had some enmity with Daina, his mate's pack. So, they ended up genociding her whole pack." Eva slapped both hands on her mouth in surprise and shock. But I couldn't understand this, maybe because I had never endured the pain of losing a mate.

Hell, I didn't have one.

'And I will pray that we will never find one because I don't want to ruin the life of my precious mate.', Leia taunted again. God! Why did she has to keep popping in my mind again and again.

"Change that topic, kids.", Daniel's mother said to clear the air of this sad conversation. "By the way, Dan, since you are taking some time instead of rushing things, what is your plan for tonight?"

"Roman, my wolf wants to spend some time with Eva! That's why there is no planning from my end tonight."

"Ooooooo," Everyone hooted happily, hearing him, and I was no different. But deep down, I started planning to contact the vampires and get this bitch killed. Say it is my talent or superpower, but from an early age, I used to try to fool werewolves with their power of sensing the feelings, and by attending this age, I had become a PRO in this field.

'I call you actress for no reason.' I couldn't help myself from frowning at her.

'Mom, there is work for you.'

'Tell me, sweetheart.'

'You need to send some humans to Silas and also promise him to send a dozen more, and in return, he had to kill that bitch.'

'Why don't you talk to him directly?'

'I would have done that, but I couldn't risk talking to him at this place where even the wall has ears. That's why I'm asking you. He is a vampire who can kill anyone for some fresh human blood. And also ask him to take some vampire friends with him because her mate will be with her all the time, but they don't have to hurt Daniel.'

'Okay! I will explain all the details to him clearly, but where at least update me on the place where Silas and his minions will have to attack! So that they can plan the things accordingly.'

'Borabora Hill.

'Woah! That's a beautiful place in terms of scenery. Your dad had...'

'I'm not interested in listening to your love story. All I know is that Daniel is taking that bitch to that place as a date. And I want to ruin this date, so it will be better if you will stop speaking and start working.', Saying this, I closed the mind link.

It had been two hours since they had left the pack to enjoy their DATE, while here I was getting impatient with the thought of what would be happening there?

Did Silas reach there in time?

Did he kill that bitch?

I hope they wouldn't have hurt Daniel in this process because if they would have, then I would kill all those leeches with my own hand. I kept tossing on the bed from left to right and right to left, but sleep was far away from my eyes.

So, I just left the bed and walked out wearing the robe of my nightdress, which was ending till my mid-thigh. I even left the packhouse and reached into the garden near it.

I strolled around with the hope of some good news, but it looked like it was not coming anytime soon.

Damn it!

My patience was wearing out, and Silas was taking so much time to kill one single human. In the end, I couldn't help myself from asking about this incident from Silas itself. I dialed his number, but he didn't receive the call, and again and again, it used to take me to the voicemail. Then I opened Whats*App to text him, but before I would have texted him, I was bumped by a wall that came in front of me all of a sudden.

What the...

Someone else presence over there startled me, making me lose my balance, and I ended up falling to the ground.

"Ouch!" I hissed when my ass got hurt. I lifted my head and glared at the person who was the reason behind this accident.

"Hey Beta! Didn't you see where you were going? Because of you, I fell down on the ground.", I whispered and yelled at him while he just arched his eyebrow.

"I wish I could ask the same thing, but then I already know where you were looking at. So, if anyone is to blame for your condition is YOU. Not me."

"How dare you talk to me like that?", My temper rose, and I grabbed his feet and made him fall down too. Now, we both were on the ground. And now I didn't have to lift my head up to talk with him.

"Did you just..."

"Yes. I did.", I said, cutting him in between. "And talk to me respectfully, Beta. Do you even know who I am? I'm the younger daughter of the Alpha Williams, and I'm an Alpha female."

"Excuse me?" he glared at me/"Do you think I have some omega or Beta's blood in my vein, huh? I, too, have Alpha blood in me, and I didn't respect you. It's not my problem if the truth hurts you like a bitch."

"You," I raised my hand to slap him, but he grabbed me, holding it tightly. "Careful powder puff!! Because I'm not some gentleman, if this hand knows how to protect, then it also knows how to break it.", Saying his, he jerked my hand away.

We both kept glaring at each other until we heard the loud growl of the wolves.

I knew the types of howls that werewolves used to howl in a different situations, and in this situation, it was serious.

I looked at the face of the Beta again. He was talking with someone through a mind link, and whatever it was, it was serious.

Did that bitch die?

I wondered and saw someone running toward the superhuman speed; thanks to my werewolf insight that, I could see that, but how the hell did the vampire get inside?

Was the howl related to it somehow?

The Beta quickly rose up on his feet and ran toward it, and that vampire stopped near the main door; my eyes widened in shock.

Because that vampire was no other than Eva.

And I forgot how to breathe when I saw an injured Daniel in her arms. I, too, raised to my feet and ran toward them with a lot of thoughts running in my mind.
