Deal with the devil

Memories of yesterday came flooding in Alicia's mind.

Raymond her fiance.....no her ex fiance called to call off their engagement and worst of it was that he was getting married to her step sister. He got to know about her past, her worst nightmare and he couldn't deal with it. After Alicia got the news she felt like her world was collapsing, she felt totally empty as she didn't want to believe.

What if it was a prank?!!!, what if he's lieing?!!!.....she kept questioning herself, as lots of things were running in her mind.

Yes she was so sure he loved her well. They were both in good terms yesterday and she didn't even see this coming at all.....Alicia kept trying his number several times but it wasn't connecting.....she picked her bag and headed straight to Raymond's house, she knew by this time he should be on his way home. She was in a confused state that she wasn't in control of herself anymore. she hasn't felt as vulnerable as this before, she was always a proud woman who always lifts her head high no matter what circumstances she was facing.

Alicia was drawn back to reality by sharp pain she felt on her legs

"Madam are you okay?"... "Are you hurt?"...."are your legs broken?"....."you need to go to the hospital you are bleeding?"....."how can someone be so careless not to check the traffic signs well before crossing?" different passerby kept scolding her, but she didn't care about what they were all saying, all she wanted to hear and see was Raymond .On getting to Raymond's villa, the door locks were already changed, she had no option than to wait for his arrival under the heavy rain....

After 3 hours of waiting heavily drenched by the rain, she finally got to see Raymond's car parking under the parking lot. Raymond together with her step sister Evian stepped out of his car. Raymond was irritated with Evian suddenly encircled his waist with her tiny hands. He knew she was doing all of that to make Alicia more jealous, but there was nothing he could do, they were truly engaged.

"Hey sister, we finally meet again, Its been a long time though. What a surprise visit!!!"Evians said pretentiously.

Alicia didn't even pay attention to her pretentious act as she quickly made her way towards Ray, but he shocked her more by moving three steps back like he was avoiding a plague. She felt really hurt, confused and also concerned by his sudden change.

"Ray.... Raymond how are you doing?" Alicia managed to speak as she choke within her sob.

"I'm gud and what I said earlier is true please stop wasting your time here and return back home" his voice were hoarse like he was trying to force those words out. Even before Alicia could ask him any further question, he walked passed her leaving her in the cold rain.

"I never knew Ray could be the cause of your tears, if not I would have tried this earlier. Everything that belongs to you will eventually be mine. Your lovely family, Raymond and every single thing thats supposed to be yours"

"Looks like the fun is beginning" Evian said as she kept laughing hysterically making her way to Raymond's apartment with an evil smirk, she locked the door, making sure Alicia doesn't have a way in.

Alicia sat on the cold wet floor clenching her chest "why are all this happening suddenly?" She didn't want to believe earlier but this is reality, she had to face it.

Her heart was completely shred to pieces, the pain of a broken heart was worse than the leg pain or headache she was going through.

After several minutes of crying she stood up and started walking staggeredly. She wouldn't give Evian the joy of seeing her in this vulnerable state. Alicia headed straight to a bar, she didn't want to immersed in her sorrow, she wanted to drink away her sorrow even if it was only for the main time, she want to be free from the pain she was going through.

Alicia drank many bottles and was now fully drunk. She stood up in her drunken state as she was about making her way out until she bumped into a fat man. Her skin were so pale, her clothes were transparent due to her wet clothes she was wearing, reavling her inner wares.

The fat man was so tempted by her beautiful face and transparent clothes that were reveling her fill size br**St.

"Hey beautiful lady, do you like to play games" Alicia was irritated by the man's touch on her body. She tried pushing him but his grips on her tiny waist were so tight

"No I'm not interested in your games. I just want to go home. I want to see Raymond"

""You want to see Raymond?"" The fat man asked while he curved his lips upward . Alicia eyes were instantly lit brightly by the question, she became very happy.

"Yes .......yes....pls take me to Raymond... I want to see ray"

"Then don't worry i will take you to ray"

Williams who have been on the other side of the bar feeling uninterested by everything happening, finally caught a glimpse of a familiar figure. He could see the evil smile plastered on the fat man face and the innocent look on the young lady. He knew it was none of his business, but he couldn't help himself from interfering as he walked straight to the fat man.

Suddenly, the atmosphere became so hard for everyone within the surrounding, they found it so hard to even breath. The fat man found himself trembling by the aura surrounding Williams.

"Hand over the girl" just those few words from Williams made the surrounding more intense.

"But....I....got her first" the fat man managed to argue without realising who he was speaking to. Although, he can't really be blamed since Williams was on a black face cap and nose mask.

Williams was already getting impatient by the man as he shot him a very deadly glare, making the fat man quickly handling Alicia over, afraid he might be dead in the next few seconds.

The fat was very annoyed, he had never felt so humiliated before, and as scared as this. The fat man has always been known as one that always got what he wanted.

"Ray...Raymond is that you?....I know you will come back for me" Alicia said as she huged Williams tightly, still not realising what was going on. Williams was slightly irritated as how proximate they were. He tried pushing her away from him but she held onto him more tightly.

"Pls don't push me away....i won't let you go".Alicia tiptoed and started kissing him wildly, before Williams could even get to ask of her phone.

"Oh Williams!!, what have you gotten your self into?, this is why you shouldn't interfere in other people matter" his inner voice kept scolding him.

Williams was really annoyed, he pushed her hard this time around since she was being to clingy to him which made her hit her back so hard on a very sharp edge, but she was stubborn not to lose him again.

With tears rolling down her cheek, without minding her pain, she quickly crawled back to him tuging his pant.

"Please don't leave me......please don't go". Her warm tears kept rolling down her cheek freely, before she fell unconscious.

"Young lady...hey...wake up"williams tried waking her, but she wouldn't wake up.

He quickly went in search for her bag, hoping to find any other useful information about her since her phone was off and soaked by the rain, but unfortunately for him, he couldn't find any other thing aside her broken phone.

"Damn it" he cursed inwardly .

He picked her up and headed directly to his hotel, since he owned one of the biggest hotel in the city.

"Raymon, please don't leave me ......don't go....stay with me" Alicia subconsciously tightened her hands on his neck.

"I shouldn't have gotten myself into this mess" williams said almost regretting his action.

Since her clothes were drenched in rain and vomit, he called few of his staff to help take care of her. She was changed into a comfortable night wares till her clothes were dried.

Alicia could be seen sleeping in a majestic bed in one of the biggest hotel in new york. The sun rose and shined upon her face but she was really enjoying her sleep as she turned to the other side of the bed. Could it be because it's been long since she slept on such a comfy bed?. After some minutes passed by she started regaining consciousness as she slightly opened an eye, she saw a big chandelier hanging under a transparent glass which was made as a roof. She sprang up from her bed, as she was fully awoken by the sudden change in the environment. Its was an extravagant room, the golden lamp, the golden table, the majestic chairs, everything there were magnificent polished gold, the room spoke of wealth.

Why am I here?....where am I?....she was brought back from her confused state by the smell of coffee which was still lingering in the air ......she was suddenly surprised by the man sitted not too far from her and got startled by the man's cold aura emanating from him, that made her subconsciously flinch.

The cold handsome man sat leisurely sipping his coffee on the couch. He wore an irritated face noticing she was awake. He was on all black, everything he wore were all black making him a handsome devil.

"What am I doing i here?.....why am I here young man?...." Alicia asked in a confused manner.

"Your cash is over there and your clothes are being prepared. Leave immediately you are done" he replied in an uninterested tone like he was being disturbed.

Wait.......what's going on?....my cash?....my clothes?.... Then she realised she was in a comfortable night gown, but this wasn't what she was wearing yesterday. She stood immediately from the bed, she felt pain in her lower abdomen, her legs were so weak that she couldn't stand properly, and the white bed sheet were already stained with blood. Alicia could feel her anger burning within her, and all she wanted to do was to teach the pervert a lesson even though the deed was done already.

"Not all girls are cheap didn't your mother teach you that?... why are men scum?..." regardless of who he was, he was caught off guard by a resounding slap that landed on his face.

The maids with her clothes were extremely shocked. No one dared insult their master not to even slap him. They knew things wouldn't end well not only with the insult but the slap he received.

"You this stupid pervert, what do you take me for?" As another slap landed on his face, not that he couldn't dodge the slap this time, but he still let himself get slapped.

"Did you take me for a slot or a cheap thing your money can buy?" Then the third slap landed on his face.

"Must you take advantage of someone's weak state to please yourself". Alicia found it hard to believe she fell into another misfortune after Raymond's incident. She was engraved with so much anger seeing the evil smirk plasterd on his handsome face, like he was enjoying the fact that she was angry. Not even a single feeling of being remorseful could be seen on his face.

"You are an idiot, a stupid scum, a fool that I wish I could strangle right now" She really want to curse him but, those words weren't coming to her mouth. Another slap was about to land on his face but he held her hands firmly this time around.

"Firstly, I think you should adjust your clothes well" his icy voice came into her hearings.

Her face flushed in embarrassment as her nip**es were about peaking out of her clothes.

"And young lady is this how you treat your saviour?".

Alicia didn't know if she should start laughing or crying.

"Old man what do you mean savior?"..Alicia managed to ask

"Please think properly before you act rashly" here he was again too lazy to explain ......

Alicia being the smart type, quickly put those pieces of memories together. She knew someone picked her up, "but could it be?...was he the one?.....then Raymond didn't come back for her.....oh no!!! She truly misunderstood him, he was truly her saviour.....does that mean Raymond doesn't care anymore about her?, has he really moved on?" Different thoughts kept wandering her mind, she was tearing up again.

"Then who changed my clothes?" Alicia asked in an hoarse voice, trying really hard to control her emotions.

"The staff" Williams answered her simply.

"Then what about the blood stain on the bed and abdominal pain".she wanted to be sure she was safe and untouched.

"How am I supposed to know" he answered nonchalantly.

"Ma, today's 24th of the month" one of the maids holding her clothes said trying to hint her.

How could she have forgotten she was on that time of the month?, and her weak legs were due to the accident on her way to Raymond's house.

She had misunderstood him completely. Alicia was so embarrassed by her behaviour, she regreted not listening to her mothers advise not to be too impulsive.

"Oh Alicia!!! what have you done?.... what am I going to do?....where do I start from?...how do I even start apologising?...oh no!!! I can't believe i slaped the face of my saviour in the presence of his maids.....

What have I done?. She kept questioning her self hoping the floor could open up and swallow her saving her from this embarrassment. This is when she realise her mom advice (anger doesn't solve things but makes things more worst). She should have really calmed down, but who the hell calms down in situations like this.

However, before she could even start apologising for her mindless behaviour, she fell unconscious again.

"Call the family doctor" Williams ordered in a stern voice while he picked her up gently tucking in the bed.

He still had lots of files waiting for his attendance, and every of his minutes counts to him. He picked up his phone dailing a number.

"Send me the documents and reschedule the shareholders meeting till afternoon" he ordered the man on the other line briefly still fixing his gaze on the lady on the bed.

Williams was already annoyed with his time wasted here, he wanted to wait for the doctors report before going back to his office.
