Deal with the billionaire's

"Man, you look wasted!" Lucas noticed that he just arrived... I didn't pay attention to it, I just continued to drink alcohol.

"He was here last night, he wanted to drown himself in alcohol." Jake said while wiping his glasses.

Jake is one of my friend, we are in a resto-bar today, we're working here as a part timer, because it's summer now and there's no school.

I'm in my fourth year of college next school year, so I'm saving a lot. And it looks like I will stop studying because of the problem we are facing now.

"That's why Anya called me last night and was looking for Wren." Lucas

My mind is still too occupied with what happened. I can't face Anya right now.... I don't want to hurt her.

"C'mon dude... alcohol won't solve your problem. I know it's hard to make a decision but you have to do it." Lucas

I told them what happened and he's right... I won't get anything if I get drunk here all day, nothing will happen.. that won't solve my problem.

"Then what should I do? Don Manuel is a powerful person... just one wrong move by me could put my family in danger, including Anya." I said dejectedly.

"Tried to talk to him in person, he's a business man... offer him something that a businessman can't refuse." suggested Jake

I'm here today at Ferrer Corporation. This is the first time I have set foot in this huge and luxurious company. I have scheduled an appointment with the chairman of this company, don Manuel Ferrer. I waited a few weeks before it was approved.

This building has 25 floors and according to the magazines I read, its area is equal to a soccer field. In the lobby you can already see how rich the Ferrers are. But I'm not here to be amazed and I don't care about their wealth.

"Mr. Wren Salvador?" a woman in her mid 30's approached me.

"Yes" I answered to his smile.

"I'm Victoria, Don Manuel's secretary." introducing it.

With his stance and speech, you would think he is one of the highest positions and looks like a model. I wouldn't be surprised... many people say that the employees here are paid too much. Even the cleaners here can afford to buy fancy cars with their wages. So many people want to work here but it's hard to get in.

"Follow me... Don Manuel is waiting for you." After saying this, he immediately walked away and I followed.

We boarded a private elevator that only the owner of this company could ride. He pressed the 18th floor button... I was just silent while waiting to get to the 18th floor. My hand is already sweating because of the nervousness I've been carrying. Who wouldn't be nervous? I have never even seen this person in my entire life.

"We're here."

My attention was aroused when Victoria spoke. It was the first to come out of the elevator that I followed. I wasn't able to look at the whole floor because it had already gone through a door.

I looked at the initials stuck to the door. MBF

Victoria knocked three times before opening the door. He went inside while I was left outside. It's like my feet are stuck to the floor and don't want to move.

Victoria turned to me and motioned to enter. I took a deep breath to reduce the tension I was feeling, I strengthened my heart and went inside.

The vast office opened up to me. The ding-ding is white, with a few paintings hanging from it. I looked at the man with his back.

"You may leave Victoria." after saying this, Victoria immediately left the office. It's just the two of us here and I can feel the coldness of the whole environment especially in the tone of his speech.

It faced me, no emotion on its face. "take a seat" he said but it sounded like a command to me. His aura is full of authority.

"Wren Arkiel Salvador, it's nice to finally meet you." he bent his hand in front of me which I immediately accepted to shake hands.

"It's an honor to meet you, sir."

"What brought you here?" he asked.

He knows why I'm here, so there's no reason for me to hang around.

"I came here for my father's mistake, and to make it right. I know he already signed the agreement you made but---- he is not in his right mind at that time... he made a decision without thinking about it ... and I think you take advantage of that situation, sir. And another thing is that our families don't know each other to reconcile your grandson with someone like me, sir." courage is said here.

It didn't speak, it just looked at me as if it was tickling me well.

"When your father came to me for my help he made a right decision." Mr. Manuel

"But my happiness was the substitute for his decision. To tell you honestly... i have a girlfriend, we've been together for more than two years, I love her so much... that's why I'm talking I'll do everything you want... just change the agreement you made with my dad. Your grandson's happiness also depends on it, what if I'm a bad person? We're both stranger's in each others eyes... . we already have our own thoughts and it's not right for you to control our lives, sir."

"Tell me Wren.... if you were in your father's situation what would you choose? Your own happiness or your family?" he asked looking directly at me.

I didn't answer, I just bowed down while looking at the clenched fist.

"I admire your courage and honesty. But agreement is an agreement, no one can change it and it costs a lot."

I looked up at this. "but.... sir--"

"I'm giving you one month to know my granddaughter and if nothing happens or changes within one month I will annul the agreement that your father signed and I'm going to help your family and you are free to choose whatever you like." I was encouraged.

"But I'm telling you feelings can be changed and happiness can be found." He said meaningfully.

"Wren? Let's go."

Bored, I stood up on the sofa and followed them out of the house. Today will be having a dinner with the Ferrer, it's been a week since I talked to don Manuel. And now he invited us for dinner... today his grandson is coming from another country

I don't know what is the point of don Manuel and gave me a month to get to know his grandson.... as if that will change my feelings.

We left home early because we had a long way to go. They were all excited except me. The entire flight, my attention was focused on the cellphone in my hand, chatting with Anya. I was supposed to be hanging out with her right now.... but suddenly it happened. I can't say no to papa because what he knows is that I broke up with Anya... but no!

"What are you doing on your cell phone and can't take your eyes off it?" I looked up when dad spoke.

It glanced at me and the front view mirror of the car.

"I'm just playing" I lie here.

"Turn it off when we arrive at the Ferrer's mansion." he just said and focused on the road.

I just put the cellphone in the pocket of my jacket, I leaned on the chair while looking out the window.

After two and a half hours, we arrived at the mansion of the Ferrers.

"You lied" I frowned and turned to my sister if it was Maggie.

"What?"

"You lied to Papa, you don't really play games on your cellphone.. you just chat with your girlfriend." he said flatly.

I couldn't answer when he got out of the car. I would like to talk to him without him looking at me evilly. What is wrong with her?

I just let it look like he won't report me to dad.

"Welcome!"

An old man greeted us and he was accompanied by three women who I think are maids here at the mansion because of the uniforms they are wearing.

"My name is Lucio, I am in charge of the mansion. Follow me and don Manuel is waiting for you."

We followed him while the three maids with him carried our belongings. Dad said we would stay here for a week but I didn't agree because of the job I left at the resto-bar and also because I didn't want to stay in this place for a long time. I don't want to waste the rest of my vacation here in this place, I want to spend more time with Anya that's all.

When you enter the mansion, you will be amazed at its beauty. It screams luxurious and elegance... it's like you're in an expensive hotel.

"Welcome to our house." Don Manuel greeted us.

House?

It's like a palace where he lives.

Dad shook hands with her while he looked at me.

"Good morning, sir." my greetings here.

"Good morning too, I'm happy because you attended my invitation." his formal language but the cold tone of his voice can still be discerned.

"C'mon let's have a sit first"

While they were saying hello to our trip, a woman came out of nowhere.

She's wearing a plain white sleeveless knee-length dress and a white shoes. Her hair was just loose past her shoulders.

"Ellie"

The woman approached don Manuel. "this is my granddaughter... Isabella Rei Ferrer" she introduced her granddaughter.

I couldn't take my eyes off of it, it was as if my eyes were fixed on him.

"Brother?"

I came to my senses and blinked when my sister, Maggie, elbowed me.

"Huh?"

"You idiot" he answered and tortured me.

I looked back at Rei... I'm calling her by her second name because Isabella is too long, that's all.

She's also looking at me... but a blank stare. After a second of staring, it looked away and looked at my parents.

"Nice to meet you"

There is no doubt that they are grandfathers. Blank expression and cold voice. Did they used to live in Antartica to have such a cold voice?

We're having lunch now, with don Manuel, Rei and two other men came. I think they are in their mid 20's.

Daze Aatos Ferrer and Drake Ashton Ferrer, they are twins and cousins of Rei.

Let's go back to our very quiet lunch that even the cutlery was ashamed to make noise. This situation is awkward.

I glanced at the person in front of me to see if it was Rei but immediately looked away when she also looked at me.

After our lunch, the twins Daze and Drake took us to ride horses... these twins are easy to get along with, easy to talk to and not cold. It's just the five of us with Maggie and Rei's sister. While dad and mom were left in the mansion with my two little brothers.

I just stood on the side watching them happily riding the horse. Because I don't know how to ride a horse but my brother does and I don't know how and where he learned.

"C'mon dude" Drake asked me.

"I don't want to die yet so you can." I answered this to which he laughed.

One of their staff arrived riding an ATV car.

"You can use that dude" Daze

I smiled.

I was about to get on the ATV when I saw Rei riding a fast running horse. It stopped where we were and looked at me blankly.

What is wrong with her?

I had fun while the twins took us for a walk around their hacienda, I thought I would just be bored the whole day of our stay here.

And now we are here in a green house, in the back part of their mansion. This is not just an ordinary green house, it is too big and wide for a normal green house. At the entrance you will see different types of plants and flowers, there is a fountain in the middle... there is a gazebo that can fit five people and at the end there is a small cabin.

"We are only here, we are not allowed to enter that cabin." I looked at the cabin that Daze pointed to.

I wondered. "why?"

"Snow will be angry" answered Drake which made me wonder even more.

Snow? Snow white?

"The great Isabella Ferrer. We call her snow because of her coldness. And a tip for you to live long... don't you dare call her by her second name... if you're not close or just a nobody and if she hears you saying it... she's going to cut your tongue." Drake said with a laugh

"Shhh... don't make noise when you hear that she's going to freeze you to death hahahaha." Daze

"I think you forgot that I am also here." the two were silent when Rei suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

She glared daggers at the twins.

She's scary and cute.

What? Hell no! She's not cute! I never said it!

"He he he..." the two laughed hesitantly and gave Rei a peace sign.

"Tsk! You, what are you looking at?" it spoke coldly as it looked at me.

"Huh!? I-i was looking at the--- plant---" I avoided looking at him and approached the plant I was looking at 'supposedly'

"--Wow! I've never seen this plant before, the size of the leaves and look at the beauty of the different colors---"

"My brother... there are so many of those in the house... you even water them every time----" immediately covered my brother's talkative mouth.

"It's okay dude... we feel you ahahahaha" said Daze and laughed.

After we toured the entire green house, we thought of resting for a while here in the gazebo, the twins were with me.. while taking a selfie where my brother was. As for Rei, I don't know where she smoked.

"Wren can I ask you something?" Drake asked in the silence and seriousness could be seen on his face.

" about what?"

"Do you really want to marry Snow?"

"Ahhh--"

"Snow is our princess... once you hurt her, the whole clan of Ferrer will hunt you down." it said seriously and threateningly.

In no time I swallowed saliva.

"Hey... don't scare him" Daze disobeyed Drake while patting me on the shoulder.

I just smiled with concern at them. It turns out that not only don Manuel and Rei are scary, but also the twins Drake and Daze.

It was getting dark when we thought about going back to the mansion. The twins and my brother went inside first, while I was left outside for a while.

I looked around to make sure there was no one before taking the cellphone out of my pocket. It kills all day. I immediately opened it and I was very surprised because of the number of messages and calls from Anya.

I slapped myself because I didn't even say goodbye to him earlier before I turned off my cp.

His number was immediately dialed to call but he didn't answer. I tried to call him several times until he answered the call.

"What?" he said on the other line.

Knowing if he is angry and sulking. "I'm sorry, babe. Dad took our cellphones... you know our family bonding now."

Sh*t! Because of my situation now I have to lie to Anya. I haven't told him what happened yet and I'm still looking for the right time to tell him everything.

"Tell me you forgot about me because you were having fun there." it's a dumb answer.

"Of course not... are you still the only thing in my heart and mind. There isn't a time when I don't think about you... I love you so much."

"Hmmp... thank you I love you"

"Thank you"

"Crazy ahahaha"

"My tiredness is gone because I heard the laughter of the person I love." I replied softly.

"I need to go back, maybe they're looking for me dad... I just ran away to talk to you."

"Right away? We just talked?" it's sulking again.

I smiled. I know if his muzzle is puckered again now.

"I'll talk to you later before sleep... I promise."

"Okay... fine, I love you"

"I love you too"

I hung up... I was about to leave when I saw Rei near my place. Suddenly my heart beat fast. Did he hear Anya and I's conversation?

I'm now lying on my bed, I still can't get rid of the strange look that Rei gave me earlier. His face was expressionless but there was something different in the way he looked at me and that's what I couldn't figure out.

All I'm worried about now is that it might be reported. I just sighed maybe tomorrow I can talk to him.

I got up and quickly took the cellphone from the pocket of the jacket I was wearing earlier.

"Argh!" I fell down on the bed. It's twelve o'clock at night and I forgot to call Anya again.
