Chapter 1 The Pack's Grounds

Lola tightened her grip on her bag, her fingers clenching around the worn leather strap as she stood before the gates of Tamsin City's pack territory. The massive iron gates loomed over her, an unspoken reminder of the life she was stepping into. She swallowed, her gaze steady as the guard approached.

"Name?" the guard barked, his eyes cold and uninterested.

"Lola Reece," she replied, her voice steady despite the knot forming in her stomach.

The guard grunted, scribbling her name down on a clipboard before gesturing for her to follow. "Alpha Mike's orders are clear. You'll be briefed on your duties once you're settled. Until then, stay out of the way."

Lola nodded, stepping through the gates and feeling the weight of the guard's eyes on her back as she walked into the pack's territory. She tried to keep her head high, but the glances and whispers that followed her made it difficult. Her mind flashed back to the small room she'd been kept in for days, the instructions given to her echoing in her mind: obey and survive.

"Look at her," a voice muttered to her left. She didn't turn, but the words reached her ears all the same. "Another one traded to our Alpha. Wonder how long she'll last."

Lola took a steady breath, focusing her gaze on the main building ahead. A towering structure of stone and wood, it stood as a testament to Alpha Mike's reign over Tamsin City. She had heard rumors of him-his ruthlessness, his strict code, his commitment to his pack above all else. And now, she was here, just another tool in his arsenal.

---

Inside, a young woman met her with a wary smile, extending her hand.

"Jessica," she introduced herself. "I'm here to show you around."

Lola shook her hand, grateful for the small act of kindness. "Thank you."

Jessica led her through the main hall, her voice soft but laced with caution. "I don't know why they sent you here, but... try to keep your head down. Alpha Mike doesn't take kindly to anyone stepping out of line."

"Noted." Lola's lips tightened. "I'm not here to make trouble."

Jessica gave a slight nod. "Good. I'll show you to your quarters."

As they walked, Jessica glanced at her out of the corner of her eye. "So... what's your story?"

Lola hesitated, unsure how much to share. "I was traded."

Jessica's face softened. "I'm sorry. It's... it's not easy here, especially for someone in your position."

"I'll manage." Lola's voice was firmer than she felt.

The quarters were small and bare, with a single bed, a small table, and a window that looked out onto the training grounds. Jessica lingered in the doorway, her face clouded with concern.

"If you need anything, you can find me near the training area. Just... be careful."

Lola gave a small smile. "Thanks, Jessica. I appreciate it."

Jessica nodded before leaving, closing the door softly behind her. Lola let out a long breath, sinking down onto the bed and looking around the room. This was her life now, for better or worse. And as much as she hated it, there was no going back.

The next morning, Lola was summoned to the Alpha's quarters. She stood outside the heavy wooden door, waiting for permission to enter. A moment later, a low, commanding voice called out, "Come in."

She pushed the door open, stepping inside to face the man who controlled her fate. Alpha Mike stood by the window, his back to her. His presence filled the room, an aura of authority and strength that was impossible to ignore.

"Lola Reece," he said, still not turning around. "Do you know why you're here?"

Lola took a steady breath. "I was traded to your pack, Alpha."

He turned then, his gaze piercing as it settled on her. "And do you understand what that means?"

She met his eyes, refusing to show any sign of weakness. "It means I serve your pack now."

A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Good. Then you understand the rules. You'll follow orders without question, stay out of pack affairs, and keep your head down. Do you have any issues with that?"

"No, Alpha."

"Good." He walked toward her, stopping just a foot away. "I don't care about your past or why you were traded. All I care about is that you fulfill your role here without causing any trouble."

Lola nodded, her heart steady as she looked up at him. "Understood, Alpha."

For a moment, his gaze lingered on her, as if assessing her strength. Then he nodded. "You're dismissed."

Outside, Lola let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding. The encounter had been brief, but the weight of it settled heavily on her shoulders. She walked back toward her quarters, her mind spinning with thoughts of her new life.

Jessica found her later, her expression a mix of sympathy and caution. "How did it go?"

"He's... intense," Lola admitted.

Jessica snorted. "That's putting it lightly. Mike's... not like other Alphas. He doesn't have time for anything he considers weak."

"I noticed." Lola's voice was dry.

Jessica sighed, glancing around to make sure no one was listening. "Look, just be careful. And if you need help... well, I'll do what I can."

Lola gave her a grateful smile. "Thank you."

"The vampires are getting closer," one of them muttered. "They've already hit Yasmin City. It's only a matter of time before they reach us."

Lola's heart wasn't stable for a moment, she was really confused about what's currently going on.

But she forced herself to keep her face impassive as she continued to clean.

The other guard shook his head. "Alpha Mike won't let them take Tamsin. He's already preparing."

"But will it be enough?" The first guard's voice was filled with doubt.

That night, she lay awake in her bed, staring at the ceiling. She didn't know what the future held, but one thing was certain-life in Tamsin was about to change.

Chapter 2 The Attack Begins

The bell's toll echoed through the air, signaling the threat at Tamsin's border. Lola stood frozen, her thoughts clouded with uncertainty. Jessica grabbed her arm.

"Lola, come on! We need to get to the safe rooms," Jessica urged, pulling her toward the back of the building.

"But the pack... Alpha Mike," Lola murmured, glancing toward the gates.

Jessica shook her head. "The Alpha knows what he's doing. Our job is to stay out of the way and let them fight."

As they hurried, Lola's mind raced with the whispered conversations she'd overheard-the warnings about the vampires. Now, they were here.

They reached the shelter as more pack members crowded in. Lola found a spot in the corner, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of Alpha Mike. She felt a strange pull, a need to be close to him during this threat.

Jessica noticed her distracted gaze. "You're worried about him, aren't you?"

Lola looked away, unsure how to respond. "I just... I want to help."

Jessica gave a faint smile. "We all do, but Alpha Mike needs warriors, not... well, you know."

Lola looked down, feeling the weight of her new reality. She was here, yet powerless to aid the very people she had begun to care about.

---

Hours passed before the sound of footsteps approached the shelter door. Tension filled the room as it swung open, revealing Alpha Mike, his face marked with smudges of dirt and blood, but his stance firm. His eyes scanned the room until they landed on Lola. She met his gaze, unable to look away.

"Everyone, listen," he began, his voice calm yet commanding. "The vampires have retreated for now. But they will be back. We must remain prepared."

Relief washed over the crowd, but Lola could see the exhaustion in his eyes, the weight he bore for his pack.

As the pack members dispersed, Mike motioned for Lola to follow him. She hesitated, glancing at Jessica, who gave her a nod of encouragement.

"Go," Jessica whispered. "He wouldn't ask unless it was important."

Lola stepped forward, following him through the darkened halls until they reached his quarters. Once inside, he closed the door and turned to face her.

"Are you hurt?" he asked, his tone surprisingly gentle.

"No, I'm fine," she replied, surprised by his concern.

He studied her, his expression unreadable. "I've seen many battles, faced countless threats... but this one feels different. These vampires, they're relentless."

Lola nodded, feeling a connection in his words. "You're worried."

He exhaled, his shoulders dropping slightly. "I can't let them take this pack. And... I can't let anything happen to you."

She looked up at him, her heart aching at the vulnerability he showed, a glimpse of the man beneath the Alpha's mask.

Without thinking, she stepped closer. "Mike..."

He didn't pull away. Instead, he reached out, his hand brushing her cheek. She felt the warmth of his touch, and for the first time, she grabbed him by his dick, and he also grab her breasts, he suck them slowly.s

Their gazes held, and slowly, as if drawn by an invisible force, their lips met. The kiss was gentle at first, abut soon it deepened, fueled by the intensity of the night's events. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer as she melted into his embrace, he spinned her, remove her pants, draw out his tongue, sucked her clit slowly till she moans so loud by screaming his name. It was so pleasurable.

They moved to the bed, their breaths mingling as they sank onto the sheets. His hands roamed her body, gentle yet firm, as if he was afraid she might disappear if he let go.

"Lola," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "I... I've wanted this, even when I knew I shouldn't."

She silenced him with another kiss, her fingers tracing his huge. "Then don't hold back," she whispered.

They gave in to the passion between them, their movements slow and tender, savoring each moment. For a brief time, they forgot about the battles, the vampires, and the dangers lurking outside. In that room, they were just two souls, finding solace in each other.

---

Lola rested her head on his chest, listening to his steady breathing.

"You're different than I expected," she said softly, tracing patterns on his skin.

Mike chuckled, a sound that rumbled through his chest. "And what did you expect?"

She smiled, tilting her head to look at him. "I don't know. But not this... not someone who cares."

His expression softened as he looked down at her. "I didn't want to care, Lola. I told myself that bringing you here was just business. But now..."

She reached up, brushing a strand of hair from his face. "Now, it's something more."

He nodded, his gaze intense. "Yes. And it scares me."

Lola placed a hand on his cheek, her thumb stroking his skin. "Then let's face it together."

He closed his eyes, leaning into her touch. For the first time, she saw the man beneath the Alpha, the one who carried the weight of his pack on his shoulders yet longed for someone to share it with.

But before they could say more, a knock sounded at the door, breaking the quiet moment.

"Alpha, we need you," came a voice from the other side. "The vampires... they're back."

Mike sighed, his expression hardening. He looked down at Lola, his eyes filled with regret. "I have to go."

She nodded, releasing him from her embrace. "I understand."

He stood, dressing quickly, and turned to her one last time before heading to the door. "Stay here. Stay safe."

Lola watched him leave, her heart heavy. She wanted to fight, to stand beside him, but she knew her place. For now.

-

Finally, she couldn't take it any longer. She slipped out of her room, moving quietly through the corridors until she reached the training grounds. There, she saw him-Alpha Mike, in the midst of the fight, his movements swift and precise as he took down each vampire that dared approach.

A vampire lunged at him from the side, and without thinking, Lola grabbed a fallen spear, throwing it toward the attacker. The weapon found its mark, and the vampire crumpled to the ground.

Mike looked up, his eyes widening as he saw her. "Lola! What are you doing here?"

"I couldn't just sit back," she replied, breathless.

He shook his head, but there was a hint of pride in his gaze. "Then stay close. And don't take any unnecessary risks."

Chapter 3 The Vampire's Final Assault

---

The morning light broke over Tamsin City, casting an eerie calm after the chaos of the previous night. Lola sat at the edge of her bed, her thoughts still tangled with memories of the fight and the closeness she'd shared with Mike. Despite her fears, she felt a deep, unshakeable connection to him.

A loud knock at her door startled her, and she opened it to find Jessica, her expression grave.

"Lola, you're needed in the main hall," Jessica said. "It's serious."

Lola nodded, following Jessica down the winding halls. She noticed other pack members hurrying in the same direction, their faces etched with worry. When they entered the main hall, she saw Mike at the front, his gaze hard as he addressed the gathered crowd.

"Last night was only the beginning," he announced, his voice firm. "The vampires will not stop. They've taken countless lives, but we cannot let fear control us. Today, we fight back."

Murmurs filled the room as the pack members exchanged tense glances. Lola felt a shiver run through her, sensing the weight of what was to come.

"Alpha Mike," a young warrior spoke up, "do we know how to defeat them?"

Mike's gaze turned thoughtful. "Their leader, Tom, is their strength. We take him down, and the rest will fall apart."

Lola felt a pang of recognition at Tom's name, remembering the whispers about his cruelty and the devastation he'd caused. She stepped forward, meeting Mike's gaze.

"Let me help," she said firmly.

Mike's eyes softened for a brief moment, but he quickly regained his stoic expression. "Lola, this isn't your fight."

"Maybe not," she replied, her voice steady, "but I'm part of this pack now. I won't just stand by."

A murmur of agreement rippled through the crowd, and Jessica stepped forward, her eyes filled with determination. "We're all in this together, Alpha."

Mike nodded, his gaze sweeping over the group. "Then let's prepare. Today, we take back our city."

---

Hours later, the pack gathered at the edge of Tamsin's territory, weapons in hand and resolve etched on their faces. Lola stood beside Jessica, her nerves twisting, but her determination unwavering. Mike moved to her side, his voice low.

"Stay close. And remember, Tom is dangerous. Don't take unnecessary risks."

Lola nodded, giving him a small, reassuring smile. "I'll be careful."

The pack moved forward, blending into the dense forest as they approached the vampire camp. Shadows flitted between the trees, signaling the enemy's presence. Suddenly, a figure stepped into view-Tom, his cold gaze fixed on the approaching pack.

"Ah, the mighty wolves of Tamsin," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "Come to meet your end?"

Mike stepped forward, his stance defiant. "This ends today, Tom. We won't let you destroy any more lives."

Tom laughed, a harsh sound that sent chills down Lola's spine. "You think you can stop me? I've defeated stronger packs than yours."

Mike didn't reply, but his gaze sharpened, signaling the warriors to spread out. Tom's vampires lurked in the shadows, waiting for his command.

"Lola, stay back," Jessica whispered urgently, gripping her arm. "Tom's stronger than any of us."

"I know," Lola replied, her voice low. "But I can't just stand here."

Before they could react, Tom lunged forward, attacking with a speed that took them by surprise. Mike intercepted him, their movements a blur as they clashed, each blow sending shockwaves through the ground.

"Now!" Mike shouted, and the pack launched into action, engaging the vampires in a fierce battle.

Lola gripped her spear tightly, her mind focused as she defended herself from an oncoming vampire. Jessica fought beside her, their movements synchronized as they held their ground. The air was thick with the sounds of clashing metal and snarls, but Lola kept her focus on the fight.

Suddenly, she saw Mike falter, his stance weakening as Tom's strength overpowered him. Without thinking, Lola rushed forward, her heart steady as she threw herself into the fray.

"Lola, no!" Mike shouted, but she was already beside him, facing Tom with a fierce glare.

Tom's gaze shifted to her, a cruel smile twisting his lips. "Ah, the little wolf who thinks she's a warrior. How amusing."

Lola raised her spear, her grip unwavering. "You won't get away with this, Tom."

He laughed, moving to strike, but Lola ducked, dodging his attack with a swift movement. She saw an opening and thrust her spear forward, the blade slicing across his arm. Tom hissed, his expression darkening.

"You'll regret that," he snarled, lunging toward her with renewed fury.

But before he could reach her, Mike intercepted him, his strength bolstered by Lola's presence. Together, they fought, their movements in sync as they pushed Tom back.

The battle raged on, the pack fighting with everything they had. Lola's focus never wavered, her mind locked on the mission. She watched as Tom's strength began to falter, his movements slower and more desperate.

One of the elder pack members shouted, "Salt! It's his weakness!"

Lola's mind startled for a while, as she remembered the elder's words from earlier. She grabbed a nearby water pouch, her hands moving quickly as she poured the water into a small bowl and sprinkled salt into it. With a determined gaze, she looked toward Mike, who nodded in silent understanding.

"Now, Lola!" he called out.

She rushed forward, holding the bowl with steady hands as she approached Tom, who was too distracted to notice her. With one swift motion, she threw the saltwater at him, the liquid splashing across his skin.

Tom screamed, his skin sizzling as the salt burned into him. He stumbled back, his gaze wild as he tried to wipe the water away. But it was too late-the salt had weakened him, his body trembling with pain.

Mike seized the opportunity, delivering a final blow that sent Tom crashing to the ground. The vampires around them hesitated, their leader's defeat evident in their fearful expressions.

"Leave," Mike commanded, his voice cold. "Or face the same fate."

The remaining vampires scattered, retreating into the shadows as the pack watched in silence. The threat was over.

Little did they know it is just the beginning.

-

As the pack gathered, Lola felt peaceful She looked over at Mike, who approached her with a proud smile.

"You did it," he said, his voice filled with warmth.

She gave him a small, tired smile. "We did it."

He reached for her hand, pulling her into a gentle embrace. The crowd around them began to cheer, celebrating their victory, but in that moment, all she felt was the quiet joy of being beside him.

"You're braver than you know, Lola," he whispered.

She looked up at him, her gaze soft. "And you're not as tough as you pretend to be, Alpha."

He chuckled, his grip tightening around her. "Maybe I just needed someone to show me that."

They stood together, watching as the pack celebrated their hard-won victory. Jessica joined them, her face glowing with relief.

"Lola, you were incredible," Jessica said, her voice full of admiration.

Lola blushed, shaking her head. "I just did what needed to be done."

Jessica grinned. "Well, whatever you did, it worked."

Mike looked between the two of them, his expression thoughtful. "Lola, from this day forward, you're no longer an outsider. You're part of this pack, part of our family."

Lola's eyes filled with emotion as she looked at him, feeling a sense of belonging she had never known before. "Thank you, Alpha. I... I won't let you down."
