DE LUCA EMPIRE

CHAPTER 1

★ Salvatore Esposito POV ★

Just another random day at New York City, the cars are busy the people are busy also.

Everyone basically has a job but they are not the same you see, there's the:

Poor class

Middle class

Average Class

Rich Class

Wealth class

Yh I know what you thinking aren't the Rich and wealth the same. Actually no they are not in fact they are entirely different, cause the Rich works for the wealthy and they would do anything to be among the best.

Of course everyone wants to be part of the best but it always comes at a cost though.

But I'm not aiming that high. Hey I'm Salvatore Esposito, I'm 17 years old I do day to day jobs to cater for my mom who is suffering from a Brain tumor ( Cancer ) Never knew my father and definitely not interested to know him. I'm currently still in highschool but I'm making ends meet at least with my Girlfriend Sarah Rizzo who is the Hottest girl in my school and of the head cheerleader plus a best friend, Lukas Wayne. Yes they are part of the Rich class but that doesn't mean anything you could say I'm leaving my best life,

Well until today.

*Ring Ring*

"Hello Salvatore Esposito speaking how can I be of service" Salvatore said on the other line in his kitchen.

"Hey Salvatore just the kid I needed" The other person said on the line.

"Boss, what can I do for you. Is there a problem cause today is my off day but I can come if there's any issue at hand" Salvatore said cheerfully.

"Ahh Sì sì you see Richard is very sick and he can't make it to work, for the delivery will you be able to do it on his behalf Figlio ( Son )" Salvatore boss said.

"Ohh okay no problem, I can make it just give me a minute to prepare and I will be right there" Salvatore said.

"Fantastico, sapevo che potevamo contare su di te ( Great I knew we could count on you)" The boss said and hanged up.

Salvatore put the telephone back and he saw his mother coming down the stairs weakly.

"Ah mom I told you to rest upstairs, why are you coming down" Salvatore said hurriedly trying to help his mother but she playfully swing his hand away and smiled.

"It's fine okay, I'm just trying to get a glass of water. The one upstairs has finished" Salvatore mother said smiling to him.

"Damn woman I have told you time to time not to move okay, why can't you women ever listen to the men" Salvatore kept saying and his mom just rolled her eyes and walked past him.

"Maybe that's because we don't like staying idle and doing nothing" Salvatore mom said sternly.

"Maria Esposito you are definitely doing something okay and that's making me smile everyday" Salvatore said to his mom while bending on one kneel and saying her last name which brought a tear to her eyes.

"What did I do to deserve such a son" Maria Said tearfully.

"Of course an handsome and hardworking son" Salvatore said with happiness.

"I meant a very naughty and disobedient son, since when did you start saying my name huh. You have grown wings huh" Maria said while holding Salvatore's ear really hard.

"Mama pls I'm sorry, please I have to go to work now or we won't eat anything" Salvatore said begging his mother who finally let go of his ear.

"Thank you, I pray you will be rewarded for your hard work soon and you get everything you want in life" Maria said.

"Mummy I'm happy the way i am and I only wish for you to get better" Salvatore said and hugged his mother.

"Okay I have to go now" Salvatore said while getting up.

"Okay be safe okay" Maria said.

"And you don't miss me too much" Salvatore said happily existing the apartment.

★ Pizza Paradiso ★

Salvatore reached his work place immediately and went straight to see his boss to know what he has to do.

*Knock Knock *

"Come in" The person inside said and Salvatore entered inside the office.

"Buongiorno signore ( Good morning sir ) Salvatore said to his boss.

"Ah Salvatore my best employee, you came right on time" Salvatore boss said while bringing out the book that stores the orders of places needed to go for a pizza delivery.

"Mr Russo it's no problem, after all Richard has been working day and night it would make sense he got sick eventually" Salvatore said with a smile.

"Yes I don't know what to do with that boy, he should at least understand to take care of his health" Mr Russo said.

"Okay Salvatore it's not even a lot order just one delivery that's all they already paid you just have to drop it" Mr Russo giving Salvatore the address and he smiled.

"What's with the smile" Mr Russo asked smiling as well.

"Ah nothing I know this address it's my best friend's place so I can easily go there just in time with no worries" Salvatore smiling and he left Mr Russo office not knowing to the heart break he's about to find himself.

Salvatore reached the apartment hoping to see his best friend only to see his Girlfriend Sarah Rizzo with a towel on.

"Sarah" Salvatore said in disbelief.

"Ohh it's you" Sarah said without a care

"What are you doing here" Salvatore said while holding the pizza.

"Well what do you think I'm doing here exactly, it's literally obvious" Sarah said.

"Hey Sarah what's the hold up didn't the pizza guy come alre....." Lukas said but stopped immediately he saw Salvatore.

"Dude what the fuck, you literally fucking my girlfriend" Salvatore said with pain in his voice.

"Well dude what did you expect, she's a hottie besides you two weren't gonna work" Lukas said indifferently.

"Salvatore just accept it okay, you are from the middle class and I'm from the Rich class we we're never gonna work okay" Sarah said and went inside.

"Dude how could you, you are no you we're my best friend" Salvatore said holding his rage.

"Well first rule being friends with me, don't trust anyone not even me" Lukas said and shut the door on Salvatore face not even collecting the pizza.

Salvatore stood there in silence not believing what just happened.

"My long time girlfriend, my best friend they all betrayed me" Salvatore kept saying in his mind.

He didn't even hear his phone ringing.

*Ring Ring*

Salvatore had to snap out of thoughts.

"Hello" Salvatore said on his phone.

"Hello is this Salvatore Esposito" The other person said.

"Yes what's the problem" Salvatore with a bit of fear.

"It's your mother, she just got admitted to the hospital and she's in critical condition" The person said and Salvatore went numb for a few seconds.

"Which hospital exactly" Salvatore said trying to act calm.

"At the Lorenzo Hospital at the......" The person was trying to complete his sentence before Salvatore cut the call and rushed off to the hospital.

★ Lorenzo Hospital ★

Salvatore rushed into the hospital and went to the reception to ask where his mother is in.

"Hello mm a woman, Maria Esposito please what ward is she" Salvatore said running out of breath.

"Mm yes Marian Esposito she is in the 7th ward" The receptionist said.

"Are you a family or friend" The receptionist asked.

"Family she's my mother" Salvatore said and the receptionist gave him a tag indicating he's family.

Salvatore immediately left to the ward to see his mother, she looked thin at the moment and bandages we're over her head clear that she might have hit her head.

"Ohh mom I should have never left you alone to begin with" Salvatore said to his now fragile mother.

"I should've just stayed home and this wouldn't have happened" Salvatore said.

"Umm, Mr Salvatore" The Doctor said.

Salvatore saw the doctor and knew the news wasn't gonna be good, so he left the door and closed the door behind him gently.

"Umm doc please be honest,will my mom get better" Salvatore said to the doctor.

"You see the tumor has now reached to the worst part of her brain and....." The doctor paused.

"And what doc please is it the money, please I can get it" Salvatore said with sadness in his tone.

"No it's not about the money, cause even now the chances of her surviving is very minimum. I'm sorry but it's best you prepare for the worst now" The doctor said and patted Salvatore on his shoulder and left.

Salvatore stood there in silence with now idea what to do.

"Prepare for the worst, first my girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend and now I might lose my mom" Salvation said with nothing but pain in his voice.

"Why is this happening to me now, I have done nothing but good things what I'm I going to do now" Salvatore said while wallowing in pain.

Salvatore was busy wallowing when he didn't notice the presence of someone else.

"Could you not start crying it's very downgrading right now" A woman said in a harsh tone.

Salvatore looked up to see The woman knowing he has never laid eyes on her before, accessing her he could tell she's a red haired, with medium boobs and a nice ass. She wore a leather jacket with black jeans and black boots.

"Excuse me" Salvatore said.

"Hey could you not cry it's downgrading" The woman said again.

"Looks like you got the wrong person right now" Salvatore said

"Ohh no I don't you are Salvatore Esposito right or should I say Salvatore De Luca" The woman said and Salvatore looked surprised to what she said.

"What now" Salvatore said confused.

"Hey I'm Clara and yh I'm your sister, Clara De Luca" Clara said and Salvatore immediately got up in surprise.

"Great you are up and standing, time to take your rightful place at the De Luca empire brother, there's much to do" Clara said smiling.

CHAPTER 2

★ Lorenzo Hospital ★

Salvatore and Clara both stood silently in the hallway. Salvatore had a confused expression and Clara had a smile on her face.

"What do you mean you are my sister" Salvatore still very confused.

"Well obviously you are my brother dear Salvatore and if you don't believe me we are in a fucking hospital, plus she can explain everything to you" Clara said while pointing at the room Maria is in and Salvatore was now more confused about all this.

"Look yeah this is all confusing and definitely a lot more surprising but you need to know the truth at least and if you don't take over our family empire everything will be lost" Clara calmly stated.

"Calm down?, how the hell I'm I supposed to calm down about this huh" Salvatore now getting angry.

"My mother is in there in pain cause of a tumor and she might probably kick the bucket and you here saying bullshit about an empire I have no idea about" Salvatore yelled at Clara and all eyes we're now on them. But Clara didn't care though she held an indifferent expression.

"Okay yeah I get it you are about to lose the only family you ever knew hey I have been there a lot more than you could imagine" Clara said and Salvatore expression then turned soft.

"But you should also know if you don't take over the De Luca empire she would have died all for nothing" Clara said more sternly now.

"What do you mean are you saying my mother knows about this but decided not to tell me" Salvatore questioned Clara.

"Yes but it was to protect you okay, and obviously we can't let all her hard work go in vain" Clara said.

The more Salvatore listened to Clara's words the more questions he has.

"Ummm Mr Salvatore" The nurse taped Salvatore.

"Yes, is there something wrong with my mom" Salvatore asked fearfully.

"Umm I can't say but she wants to see you urgently" The nurse said.

"Okay thank you" Salvatore thanked the nurse and left to see his mother.

Immediately he entered his mother smiled at him, and he went over to her.

"Hey mom how are you does anything hurt" Salvatore asked while touching his mother.

"Umm darling I'm fine" Maria said and her eyes immediately fell to Clara and her expression changed to shock.

"Long time no see Nanny" Clara said to Maria smiling.

"Clara!" Maria said in shock.

"Mom you know her" Salvatore asked.

"Yes I do but it looks like she's your sister, twin sister actually but I take it she already told you" Maria said with a smile to Salvatore.

"What mom, no no you are not well you need rest" Salvatore said.

"Honey, I know my health is unstable and I know my chances of living is very low but I need to tell you the truth about yourself before I die" Maria said and she started coughing out blood.

"Mom, mom please stop there's still hope for you please" Salvatore said breaking down.

"No I need to tell you the truth okay, and I need to say it before leaving this world" Maria said while making herself comfortable but Salvatore could only see his only family which is his mom struggling to even move, which only made him more sad.

"Salvatore my sweet boy in as much I Loved the idea of you being my own son you are not my son" Maria said and made Salvatore heart broken.

"No mom I'm your son okay, I'm your son your lil boy" Salvatore trying not break down but it was of no use as he already bringing out tears.

"Darling I'm not your mother, your real mother was Amanda De Luca who unfortunately died while giving birth to you" Maria said and paused to catch her breath.

"When she died you two we're born you being the first and you inheriting the De Luca empire, but your uncle was too ambitious and too greedy he decided to kill you instead. So your father entrusted me with you and your sister should stay behind because they only want a boy to inherit the empire" Maria said Clara looked pissed.

"Damn bastards" Clara said enough for them to hear.

" I took you immediately and raised you as my own, but seeing the fact I'm going to die now it's the right time you take your place at the De Luca empire" Maria said coughing more and more.

" What about our father" Salvatore asked Clara.

"He's still alive for now, he's managing everything till you come back but he's not well and I don't know how long he can hold up" Clara's said the last words faintly.

"Mmm and our uncle" Salvatore asked again.

"That bastard is still living and annoying as fuck" Clara said with disgust.

"mm Salvatore please promise me to be careful, your uncle is a lot dangerous than he looks. You two Clara I didn't manage to raise your brother for him to see you die" Maria said sternly.

"Hey I'm Freaking Clara De Luca you are gonna need a lot more than that piece of shit to kill me" Clara boosted.

"Ohh no I see you inherited your father's Crazy side" Maria said jokingly.

" At least I'm not boring like this guy over here" Clara pointed to Salvatore.

"Hey I'm your older brother here, you can't call me boring have some respect at least kids these days" Salvatore said.

" Hey dude we are literally the same age" Clara said and hit Salvatore shoulder jokingly.

Maria only watched as the two siblings bicker at each other and it warmed her heart.

*Cough cough*

Maria was coughing more and more the two had to stop and Clara brought water to give Maria.

"Thank you, Salvatore thank you for everything you have done for me and Clara thank you for protecting both yourself and your father I know it hasn't been easy seeing how you have lost a lot" Maria said with a smile.

"I should thank you for protecting my brother and tolerating him, I know it hasn't been easy boys are very hard to deal with" Clara said and Salvatore fumes but Maria laughed instead.

"I might not live during this month, but I want to spend it with you both at least, that way I can die without pain but joy instead" Maria said and both Salvatore and Clara smiled.

And they followed Maria wish, they made the weeks the best for her even Salvatore didn't need to work but spend time with his mother and sister. It was the best time for each for them Maria spend time with her son and daughter and Clara spent time with her mom and brother they couldn't be more happy. But the good days had to come to an end, Maria eventually died but she didn't die with regrets rather she died happy with both kids in her hands what more could a mother ask for.

★ 2 Months later ★

Salvatore and Clara we're giving their last respects to Maria before leaving to Italy.

"You know I always thought we would never get along" Clara said to Maria's grave.

"But instead not only did we get along, you because the actual mother I never had or even call my own I hope you rest in peace" Clara said placing Roses on her grave.

"You know everytime I watched you struggle with everything it always hurt, you would be in pain but you never showed it even in death you still held that smile that always brights up a room. Mom I hope you rest in peace and I promise you to make my uncle pay for his evil deeds and also take over the De Luca empire" Salvatore said and placed the Roses on her grave. They said their last wishes and left.

"So straight to Italy huh" Salvatore said.

"Yep, obviously we have a lot of work to do on you" Clara said.

"Like what exactly" Salvatore asked curious.

"Your look dude you definitely can't get me a sister-in-law for me" Clara said and Salvatore rolled his eyes.

"Pretty sure that's not important right now" Salvatore said and Clara quickly hit him on his head.

"Ouch what was that for" Salvatore said in pain.

"Dumb ass don't you know while ruling an empire you need a fucking woman by your side" Clara said and they both entered the car, which took them to the Airport where their private jet was waiting.

Salvatore looked in awe surprised and shocked at how big the jet is.

"Wow, now that's a big jet" Salvatore said and Clara rolled her eyes and dragged her brother inside the jet.

They both had their seats and immediately Clara opened her laptop to show Salvatore beautiful women he could select.

"Clara no and no the right one will come to me at the right time, I'm not going to rush it and end up heartbroken" Salvatore said remembering what happened between Sarah and Lukas and Clara immediately knew what he meant.

"Hey big bro, we are gonna come back and make their lives a living hell that I promise" Clara said and Salvatore just laughed.

"Why, would you do that though" Salvatore asked while still laughing.

"Hey you mess with my brother you mess with me as well, we are never splitting up again and no one will ever hurt us again" Clara said and Salvatore took I hand.

" That's right no one will ever hurt us again I promise" Salvatore said and Clara smiled.

"Well sit back and relax it's gonna be a long ride to Italy" Clara said and immediately relaxed while Salvatore looked out the window.

"Uncle Get ready your favorite nephew is coming for you" Salvatore said In his mind.

CHAPTER 3

★ ITALY ★

The ride to Italy was smooth and relaxing for both Salvatore and Clara. They both made it to Italy and the SUV was already waiting for them which would take them to the House Where Roberto De Luca is waiting for them whom is also Salvatore and Clara's father.

"Hey before going home, let's take a detour we need to make a break at somewhere important" Clara said to the driver.

"Va bene signorina" ( Okay miss ) The driver responded and he took a detour and Salvatore was surprised.

"Where are we going exactly" Salvatore asked while watching people pass by.

"Nowhere far just a place to freshen you up a bit" Clara said while smiling.

The car drive was smooth Salvatore saw places and people, the shops he saw we're all beautiful even the people. It wasn't long before they made it to the place which is a Mall actually and Salvatore looked confused immediately.

"A Mall" Salvatore said in disbelief.

"Yep" Clara said excitedly.

"What's with you girls and shopping" Salvatore said getting annoyed.

"This is what happens when you got a sister, why didn't I have a brother instead" Salvatore sign and Clara immediately hit on his shoulder.

"It's not for me dude, we coming is for you and you only" Clara said and immediately got out from the car in annoyance that Salvatore had to follow her.

"Hey wait up" Salvatore said while running after Clara.

Salvatore immediately cut up to her and she took him to a salon first and he got a new haircut and they shaved off his facial hair too which wasn't even much.

Then Clara to Salvatore to the boutique, A woman at the entrance immediately knew Clara was and she lead them both to the private area for them both.

"I see you are their best customer here" Salvatore said while watching how they treated his sister with respect.

"Yes and besides a friend of mine holds the place and a few other places" Clara said while sipping her champagne that was given to both her and Salvatore.

It wasn't long a young lady came out she looked in her early twenties but she's actually 28 years. She welcomes Clara with a kiss on the cheek and shake Salvatore hand and a young girl accompanied her she looked very confident she shake Salvatore and looked shy around Clara which Salvatore noticed.

"So you are the brother and son of the De Luca family, finally I got to meet you and I gotta say you are handsome isn't that right Luna dear" The woman said.

Luna on the other hand didn't even hear her mother's words she was busy looking at Clara.

"Luna La Rose" The woman yelled and Luna immediately snapped back to Reality.

"Ahh where are my Manners I'm Antonella La Rose" Antonella introduce yourself.

"And this here is my daughter Luna La Rose, she's 16 and definitely single" Antonella said and Luna immediately blushed.

"Mamá seriously" Luna yelled and both Salvatore and Clara both laughed which made Luna to hide her face from embarrassment.

"Okay Clara what are we working with here" Antonella said.

"Just bring your best Clothing line the looks is already taken care of, the outfit is just the next step" Clara said and immediately Antonella ordered her girls to do just that.

It was a sudden change for Salvatore first his looks and now outfit, it was all too sudden for him but little did he know there's a lot more than just the outfits and looks that will change about him.

While Salvatore was changing and Clara was choosing the best Luna kept looking at Clara and her eyes couldn't stop watching her every movement.

"That's it this is everything we need and this outfit don't take it off wear it to the house okay" Clara said and Salvatore did just that.

"Thank you miss Antonella" Salvatore and hugged her.

"No need for that Salvatore a friend or family of Clara is a family of ours. Thank you for coming and you can stop by anytime okay" Antonella said and immediately went off while Luna was talking with Clara and Salvatore immediately noticed how shy Luna is with Clara.

"You done" Clara asked and Salvatore replied with a smile.

"Okay let's go bye Luna and Antonella" Clara said and walked away before placing a kiss on Luna.

"Huh....yh bye" Luna said and immediately left inside with a red face.

Salvatore and Clara went back to the car since they we're done with their shopping.

"So Luna is cute" Salvatore said and Clara had a raised eyebrow.

"Yes she is why do you say so" Clara said while holding a scary expression immediately.

"Woah, it's a compliment okay and I can see you like her too just like how she likes you" Salvatore said smiling.

"Yeah I do but i can't be with her" Clara said with a sad expression.

"And what's with that talk" Salvatore immediately straighten his position to face his sister.

"She clearly likes you and seriously she wouldn't even stop blushing around you, and you can't tell me you didn't notice she was checking your movements and everything" Salvatore said and Clara smiled.

"Yes I noticed but it's too dangerous to bring her into my world, our world Salvatore what if I lose her. I can't bear to face such again" Clara said and Salvatore immediately embraced her.

"Hey, it's gonna be fine okay and nothing will happen she will be fine, but it's your decision still just don't hurt yourself" Salvatore said while still embracing his sister and the drive went out in silence.

They finally reached the house that Roberto De Luca is in and Clara immediately got outside the car.

"Hey you could at least help with the stuff we got here, don't forget your stuff is here too" Salvatore yelled to Clara.

"Ohh yeah" Clara and immediately sent the servants to bring the items they bought inside and they took it to their room.

A woman saw Clara and she immediately went to her with a smile.

"Miss Clara you are back this is great" The woman said with a smile.

"Yes I am this is my brother Salvatore De Luca who should be treated like family" Clara said grabbing the attention of everyone in the corridor they we're in.

"Buonasera signora" ( Good evening ma'am ) Salvatore greeted.

"Buonasera" ( Good evening) the woman replied back.

"I'm Samantha the house keeper of the house and your father caretaker, nice to meet you" Samantha said.

"Nice to meet you too" Salvatore said with a smile, he was about to say more before someone was descending down the stairs.

It was none other than Roberto De Luca and he smiled immediately he saw his daughter and son.

"Figlia, finalmente sei tornata e vedo che hai portato tuo fratello con te" ( Daughter you are finally back and I see you brought your brother with you) Roberto said while in Embracing her with a smile.

"Son, I finally got to meet and see you after so many years" Roberto said and immediately hugged him and he couldn't help but bring out tears, Salvatore reciprocated the act and everyone was happy again.

They had dinner and it was the best Dinner Roberto had have in a while and he's thankful he's still alive to still see and enjoy such. It was time for bed and Roberto was with his both his children.

"My daughter and son, I'm happy I didn't die before enjoying today, especially now I might die anytime soon" Roberto said and Clara had a sad expression immediately.

"Hey babygirl don't be sad you have your big brother with you now, and even when I'm gone you two have each other and I know you both will protect each other" Roberto was saying and then continued.

"Remember you have yourself and never let anything or anyone come in the way of your love for each other, you both have each other now and I'm sure whatever what life or De Luca family throws at you, you will overcome it okay" Salvatore held Clara in his arms.

"Now I'm sure they are aware you are back but remember what I have taught you Clara and teach your brother everything he needs to know, don't allow anything to happen to your sister okay protect each other and never loose your guard you both are De Luca and you will rise above the rest" Roberto said that soon became his last words without his knowledge and Clara kissed him to sleep.

"Riposa adesso, padre" ( Rest now father) Clara said and both Her and Salvatore left the room.

The next day Roberto De Luca was pronounced dead and the his enemies we're happy thinking nothing will come in their way not knowing he left the strongest and best Children to take over for him.

"Okay brother now so it begins the War is about to start hope u are ready" Clara said.

"I'm Salvatore De Luca I'm born ready let them come and let them know there's are new rulers and they won't stand for shit" Salvatore said and Clara smiled.

★ Somewhere in Italy ★

"So my brother is dead and his son is back huh" The man said who is none other than Ubermto De Luca to his men.

"Yes sir" One of his men answered.

"Good let the game begin I'm looking forward to see what my brother's brats have planned" Umberto said.

"Look out kids your favorite uncle is gonna pay you a visit soon" Umberto said.

And so it begins......
