Days After (Book 2 of the BDA series)

I jolted up looking frantically around.

"She is awake." Someone yelled.

"You are alright, take deep breathes." Someone cooed into my ear, I did as I was told and calmed down.

Where am I? I asked myself confused.

"Relax Axymah." I can recognize that voice anywhere, Amira... mom. I looked around looking for where her voice came from, when I couldn't find it raised my head up at her. I was in a state of confusion, I was super confused because one thing I was at Dinela's party the next I am here

"You are okay my Darling." She said with a sweet smile.

"Okay." I managed to say but it came out as a whisper because my throat was dry then I remembered what happened before I collapsed and let out a scream.

"What was that about? What's wrong?" Someone asked surprised and confused

"M-m-y-my stepfather....Dario.... He is back."

"Please relax-"

"No, no!!! He is back for me." I let out another scream goosebumps formed on my skin.

I could not breathe, my vision was blurry, flashbacks of all the things he did to me, the torture, beatings.... I was shaking violently, my heart was beating rapidly in my chest adrenaline was coursing through my veins all the voices were muted I could only hear the loud pumping of my heart beat I was mortified he is back.... to finish what he started I released another ear piercing scream and collapsed.

Alero's POV

"What did you say happened again?" I asked west, he was the one that found her and saved her from Dario's clutches thank goodness he arrived on time, who knows what he would have done to her if he had gotten his hands on her.

"Well, after Azyma went after you I didn't see her for a while I thought you and her were probably having girl talks, then after about ten minutes I saw you I asked about her from you but you said you don't know where she was that she never came to you so I started looking for her then I went towards the back and I saw Dario standing over an unconscious body with a shovel I managed to get a good look at the person and saw it was Azyma's unconscious form I knew I had to do something to save her Dario turned around and saw me then he fled he left just like that I called you guy's attention and brought Axymah home." He narrated what happened.

"She must have been so terrified by the sight of him that she collapsed."

"Yeah, or he hit her from behind with a shovel."

"But why did Dario flee? I mean West does not look threatening in anyway, no offense."

"We can think about that later, let's call in the doctor I really hope she is alright." Amira said and called the doctor half an hour later he was here.

"Good day Mrs Amira."

"Good day, please help my daughter, she collapsed out of fear, please..." He moved to Azyma's side beside the couch and examined her.

"She was hit in the head pretty hard but she should be alright, I'll prescribe some medication for her that will relieve the pain in her head she also had a mental and emotional breakdown so keep her away from whatever scared her so much, I have given her an injection it will help her relax and reduce the rapid flow of blood to her brain, I advice she sees a therapist she really needs one."

"Thank you doctor, but is she alright?"

"She is fine but she has gone through a lot, she is traumatized do your best to keep her away from whatever or whoever caused her trauma always keep her in a cool and calm environment right now she does not need any form of negativity or anything that will bring back memories of her trauma I will take my leave now."

"Thank you doctor, have a nice day."

"You too Mrs Amira." With that he left.

"I thought all this Dario problem was over, should Dario not be in jail."

"Turn on the news." Austin said looking panicked as he entered the living room.

"Why?" He ignored me and turned it on himself and we all stared at the screen.

News Headline: Jail break in Abuja police station. Dario who was found guilty of domestic violence and child abuse and was sentenced to life imprisonment escaped from prison three months ago he still is yet to be found investigation says he escaped for one reason and one reason only "To finish what he started" what that statement means is still unknown, more investigation is being done to shine light on the reason Dario broke out of prison and surprisingly left his accomplice behind.

"He broke out of Jail to finish Azyma, does he want to kill her or what?"

"I won't let him five feet close to my daughter." Mr Issah yelled throwing his arms in the air.

"Don't forget she is not your biological daughter so you don't have to go through so much trouble for her your wife is a barren." Austin said with so much attitude an eye roll.

"Excuse me!!" Mrs Amira yelled in surprise at what Austin spewed.

"Austin why would you say such?!" Dinela scolded.

"Was just saying, no offense."

"Do not ever say such a thing to me, Axymah is my daughter period, there should be no arguments."

"I was not arguing about that, I was just saying that you...." He began but Amira interrupted him.

"Do not ever say such a thing ever again!!!" Mrs Amira said in a stern voice.

"Okay whatever, you don't have to yell I can hear you perfectly well."

"Austin why are you being so rude?"

"You heard her yell at me it was so not necessary."

"You should not have said that, apologize." Dinela demanded.

"Are you out of your mind boy?! You dare open your mouth to insult my wife!!"

"Austin!! Apologize." Dinela urged.

"No way, I'm out of here." He said in a cocky tone and walked out on us.

"I am sorry about him, he really should not have said that he was way out of line, I apologize on his behalf."

"He called me a barren!!" She said hurt and surprised, his words really hurt her I can totally understand.

"He didn't mean to he is really sorry please do not be offended." Dinela pleaded with her.

"Its alright dear, sorry dear."

"It's alright, after all its not his fault."

"We need to protect Azyma." I suggested

"I think he has been planning his escape for a long time, maybe since when he found out Azyma was out of coma but how come the news is coming out now?" Dinela said thoughtfully.

"How did he know that Azyma was out of coma? Who could have told him? And you have a point there."

"I'll point a finger and say Austin." Dinela accused.

"You can't just point a finger at him it could be anyone he has ears and eyes everywhere remember."

"Didn't you see his behaviour, the way he spoke to Mrs Amira."

"That does not mean you can just point a finger at him you can't just point a finger at anyone Austin is our friend he has been since secondary school, you can't just blame him for this, he is on our side."

"Fine, whatever but I know what I'm saying."

"Alero, I'm sorry to hear about you and your fiancée."

"Ex fiancée," I corrected " besides its fine."

"You have gone through so much heartbreak-" Amira began but I interrupted her, it's just I didn't want to hear it, her sympathy will just cause me to start crying and I don't want that.

"I have to go now, later." I said as I bid them goodbye.

"I should also go, bye." Dinela said and we both left together like always. I really hope Azyma will be alright Austin's behaviour really baffled me he never speaks to anyone with so much disrespect so what happened? I really hope Dinela is not right.

Four hours later

I woke up with a massive headache and fear, I thought it was over I thought everything was over I wanted to start my life afresh but.... No, he just couldn't have that he will take away my joy and cause me pain he will capture and torture me all over again, the thought sent chills down my spine.

"Darling?! You are awake? Finally."

"Mom?"

"I am here my child, do I need to call the doctor? Are you alright."

"No, I'll be fine I just have a headache."

"Here, take these pills the doctor prescribed for you." I took them with shaking fingers and swallowed them with water.

"Mom, he will not rest till he sees my end." My eyes started to water and my heart ached

"No harm will come to you, I have called Akhila, the investigation is still ongoing he will inform us if there is any progress, put your mind at rest dear."

"Okay, can I go back to sleep?"

"You should eat first."

"I'll eat when I wake up."

"Okay, let me help you to your room." I got to my room and laid on the bed, as soon as the door clicked shut I fell asleep, the sleep was peaceful at first then... It got really weird.

I was in the police station, no... I was in front of Mr Dario's cell,not directly in front, a bit far from his cell, I saw someone talking to him, the person probably came to visit him. Who would want to visit him? does he have more accomplice? I thought, I moved closer to hear what they were saying

"I have good news for you Dario, but you will have to pay me to hear it."

"What nonsense do you want to spew, get out of here, allow me to rot here in peace."

"Seems you are making yourself comfortable in this dump."

"Watch your tongue boy."

"With the news I have for you, you will not want to stay here for even a minute more, its about your step daughter."

"Axymah?!! What about her?"

"Tell me now before I rip your throat from your neck."

"I don't think you are in any position to make threats give me two thousand dollars not naira and I'll give you the news."

"Bouncer give him two thousand dollars." Dario called and a really huge looking guy threw me the money.

"Now that you have given me my cash I will tell you the good news you know I have been working for you for a very long time you should give me a tip, probably throw in a couple thousands more."

"Give me the news or else you will join your parents in the pit of hell they are in."

"Fine, no need to get aggressive."

"Speak now boy while you still can."

"Axymah is out of coma."

So this is how Mr Dario found out I'm out of coma, I have to find out who this man is that told him, I moved closer to the cell and turned to see who it was....

I jolted up from the bed, shaking, drenched with sweat, my heart was racing, I looked around and saw my bedroom, what happened? Was that a.... Was that a dream? What sort of dream was that?!!! Austin would never betray me, or would he??!!!!! No he would not!!! Some dreams are just stupid.

I laid back on the bed but it was wet from all my sweat, too lazy to do anything about it, I just laid there till I heard the notification sound from my phone. I grabbed it from the bedside to see who is texting me this late at night.

I checked who it was, my sweetheart west cooper and to my surprise the time is 3:00 am in the morning, I slept a lot yesterday. I read his text and smiled I saved his number has ladybug because he always brings me luck.

Ladybug: I know you might be asleep but I can't sleep unless I know you are okay, so if you are awake please text me back with my favorite stickers, please.

Me:😌😌😏😮

Ladybug: I hope I am not disturbing you😚😚 my sunshine, the one that brings meaning to my life💞 the one I can't live without😎😎 I hope you are feeling much better, as long as I am with you no harm will befall you that useless man will never get to you😤😤 you are my ray of hope, so no one must harm you😌😌

Me: its you and your sweet tongue 😚😚 no you are not disturbing, I actually just woke up from sleep.

Ladybug: may I ask what woke you?

Me: was feeling your love and that you couldn't sleep, I woke to give you comfort and assure you that I'm alright.

Ladybug:😇😇👀 you sure about that or a nightmare.

Me: it was not a nightmare, just a freakish dream.

Ladybug: do you want to talk about it?

Me: no, not really, I'm a bit shaken up

Ladybug: sorry love

Me: thanks Darling, I'm starving

Ladybug: go eat something, now that I know you are okay I can go to sleep peacefully.

Me: go to sleep my handsome knight, sweet dreams, I love you💗💗

Ladybug: I love you too sweetheart💗💞

I dropped the phone after that and went to the kitchen to hunt for food I didn't find anything so I just stuck to making a sandwich. I made a peanut butter and chicken sandwich and grabbed a glass of cold milk and went back to my room, I switched on the TV and changed the channel to telemundo, my favorite channel, it was showing 'My heart beats for Lola' I munched on my sandwich while I watched the program feeling safe, for now.

My alarm soon went off, its 6:00am already, time sure flies when you are having fun or doing something interesting. I got up and changed the sheets after which I went to the bathroom to do my business and shower. I finished and dried myself up with my towel then put on body lotion and wore a red bra and matching panties, its another day of work for me, I dread Mondays, things never seem to go right for me on Mondays.

I picked out a knee length black pencil skirt and a white shirt and a black office jacket with black six inches high heel, this is my usual Monday dressing code and this time I made sure to button up properly, I definitely do not want a repeat of last week Monday's event.

Flashback

The office phone on my desk rang, its probably a call from the CEO Mr Bullard

"Miss Axymah, the documents I asked you to work on please bring them to my office right now." It was a call from him I was right.

"Okay." I hung up and gathered all the documents I took it to his office when I got there he was not on seat I decided to leave it on his desk so he'll see them when he gets back. But these are important documents what if it gets stolen? No one would dare still from his office, he is feared by all his staffs, I decided to leave it there and go back to my office which is on the same floor as his.

After I got to my office about seven minutes later my office phone rang again, I picked and Mr Bullard yelled into the phone hurting my ears.

"Miss Axymah do you want to get fired?!!!"

"No sir."

"Come into my office right now!!"

I wondered what the problem was and rushed to his office.

"Why did you leave such important documents on my desk? Someone could stumble upon it and steal it."

"You were not on seat and-"

"Could you not wait for me to get back?" He interrupted.

"Well..."

"You are lucky the documents didn't go missing."

"Pass me the documents over there." He ordered rudely, he has absolutely no respect for his staffs. I went to get him the documents and bent over to get it, apparently my ass my facing directly to his face.

"What are you doing?!!!" He asked with his voice raised.

"I'm getting the files you ask me to get you." I didn't even know that my ass was facing his head.

"Two companies have applied for this new contract give the one you think will undergo the contract very well."

"Okay sir, I need your signature on it."

"Get me a pen."

I hunched over him to get the pen and my shirt unbuttoned in the process exposing the top of my breasts, I was about to take the pen from his desk before he pushed me away with so much force that I almost fell.

"You are a shameless woman, you are trying to seduce me with all your glory but I will not give in to the devil, do you not know that your body is the temple of God. For shame woman, for Shame."

"How am I trying to seduce you? Besides how will you pray to God without entering his temple, you will at some point" okay so that was a very wrong choice of word.

"First you put your ass in my face now you want to put your mangoes too, your shirt is unbuttoned and you're saying filthy things to me, you lack good mannerism and value." My face turned red as I tried to button it.

"I didn't know, I'm sorry." He took the pen from his desk and signed it, he should have done that since but no, he can't do anything for himself as long as people are there for him to send to do it.

End of flashback.

That was such an embarrassing moment for me, I put on cologne and took my handbag that has my office documents in it and carried the plate which I used to eat my sandwich and the cup for the milk to the kitchen.

I saw mom making breakfast for dad and I. "Good morning mom." I greeted.

"Morning dear, how are you feeling?" She asked staring at me.

"Much better thank you, what are you making?" I asked as I leaned in to see what it was.

"Waffles and coffee your two favourite things." she said.

"I can't wait to taste it." I said and my mouth instantly begin to water.

"Darling I have news for you." She said grinning ear to ear, I'm guessing its a good news.

"What is it," I said with a smile and she handed me a white envelop "just tell me already." I said impatiently.

"Read it first." I opened it and read the content, I jumped up in joy and my eyes began to tear up.

"You- you're pregnant." I exclaimed as I jumped up in happiness.

"Yes baby, I'm six weeks gone." She said and grabbed my hand.

"Congratulations mom." I pulled her in a for a hug, not too tight because of her unborn baby.

"Thank you dear." I see her eyes begin to water.

"You are going to have your own biological child." I said with a small smile.

"No matter what, you are still my child, I will love the both of you equally besides you are an adult it shouldn't matter."

"You are right." I told her.

"I'm always right," she said with a bright smile and I chuckled "come have your breakfast, you don't want to be late something is always up with you and that boss of yours especially on Mondays."

"I know right." Dad came into the kitchen and I congratulated him as well, I ate my breakfast afterwards and drove to work in my sleek Toyota corolla dad got it for me when I turned 18 years old, I got to work thirty minutes later my work place was not all too far from home.

To my bad luck, I got to work five minutes later, that will get me ten minutes of insults and embarrassment from my boss.

"You are late, why don't you save yourself the insults from the boss by never coming late." Sasha yelled exasperated.

"I didn't choose too, I just got caught up with something." I said not paying much attention to her.

"You always have one excuse or the other, its not me that will scold you for coming late, that's the boss's job."

"You are always so cold towards me, I wonder what got stuck in your ass this time to make you so grumpy and watch your tone, I'm the boss here after the boss." I said firmly.

"That's your problem, you can even go on a sweet adventure to find out, rubbish! And.....whether you're my boss or not I wouldn't give two fucks, Mr Bullard is my boss so don't expect to receive any kind of respect from me." She said in such a bitchy tone.

After her little taunt I left and went to my office first I need to decide who will get the contract then I need to hand it out soonest also I have an appointment with one of the companies CEO "Mathias inc." by 10:30 am and I am just in time, that's almost an hour away I should prepare everything before then.

An hour later.

A knock on my office door sounded, its probably the CEO of Mathias inc.

"Come in." I said.

The CEO entered but my head was buried in what I was doing that I didn't see her face.

"Good day Miss Axymah." He greeted.

"Good day to..." I said as I rose my head up, when I saw who it was I couldn't finish my sentence, shock was written all over my face, I was beyond stunned. Mom.

My biological mother, the one who birthed me, the one that was known to be dead for over 9 years standing right in front of me able and healthy not a single bruise or scar how is that possible?

All these years she has been alive she never bothered to come see me to save me from the evil clutches of my Dario she left me to suffer despite being alive all these years.

"My daughter, I have missed you," she said with a weak smile "how have you been my child?"

"No... No, stay away from me, get away!!"

"We will talk about this outside the office now its time to discuss business, please my company needs this contract."

Although I was still shocked I knew I needed to assign the contract to one of the companies, I regained my composure and offered her a seat with watery eyes I cannot let my emotions get the better of me.

"So why do you want the contract?" I asked eyeing her up and down boring holes into her dirty soul.

"Its crucial my company gets the contract, we need it-" she started.

"That's all, you may leave." I interrupted her rudely not even allowing her to finish.

"What! But I'm not done." Like I care, get the hell out of my office.

"I said you may leave, I've heard all I need to." I said sternly.

"Please do not drag our personal matters into this." She begged, I can't believe her right now, did she just say what I heard she said?

"I said leave, I've heard all I need to." I stood my ground and soonest she left my office without another word.

My biological mom... Here... She didn't even try to apologize or give me a hug or ask me to be her daughter again or tell me she misses me tell me the reason she never came back to me or tell me that she isn't dead like I had thought she... She just talked about business and left, will I ever see her again? What even just happened? Am I dreaming?

"Can someone please tell me what happened?" I said to no one in particular as I was the only one in my office I put my head on my desk and cried my eyes out,

I composed myself forty five minutes later and read all the mails from the second company "Amber sparks" asking for the contract and without further Ado I gave them the contract, why should I give "Mathias inc." The contract when my biological mom that abandoned me is the CEO. Never.

I finished up my work for the day still shaken up, I wonder why Mr Bullard didn't send for me today, finally done with all the work I kept piled up I'll have to give all these documents to Sasha because she was asked to hand them to me. I gave back the documents, relieved of last two weeks work, Sasha just had to ruin my day further.

"Finally done with all my work." I said with so much relief.

"You are done with last two weeks work that was due yesterday, have you given out the contract?"

"Yes I have."

"Who did you give it to?"

"Amber sparks."

"What!! Why?! Why did you give it to "Amber sparks company" when Mathias inc. Will carry it out much better."

"Do you want to tell me about my job? Its my job to choose the right company for this contract and I did exactly that."

"You must have a grudge of some kind against the company or just despise it for no reason, at least if that's the case you can settle it outside the office, I wonder what the boss has to say about this?" She said and rushed off to the direction of Mr Bullard's office, I groaned and went back to mine.

Some minutes later, Mr Bullard called me to is office.

"Yes sir, you called for me." I said as I entered his office.

"Yes I did."

"Sasha can you please tell me one more time what you told me?"

"Yes sir, I was going to give Axymah documents for her to work on for this week and I heard her talking inside with someone, I didn't hear clearly what they were saying because the office door was closed. I heard the person begging Axymah not to bring their personal matters and arguments to office, and they should talk about business, afterwards Axymah asked her to leave the office that's when I saw who Axymah was talking to, the CEO of Mathias inc. Now when I asked her she said she gave Amber sparks company the contract and its probably because of the dispute between her and the CEO of Mathias inc."

"Is that true Axymah?" He asked with a raised brow.

"Sir, you know me very well, have I ever brought my personal problems or dispute to this company?"

"No." His answer was direct.

"And have I ever issued a contract to a company and the company does not carry out the contract very well?"

"No, no you have not." He leaned further into his chair.

"I rest my case." I said with full confidence.

"Sir, even though-" Sasha tried to speak but she got interrupted.

"Its Axymah's job to hand out the contract, she will be in big trouble if that contract is not done well. How many files needs to be worked on work on this week?"

"Three." Sasha answered cockily.

"Are you certain they are only three?" He asked.

"Yes sir, two of them are related to the contract and the other one is hiring a new assistant for me." She said with a smug.

"Very well, give Axymah the three files she will work on them before this week is over." He said with a sigh.

"Why are you handing me so much work sir? Sasha does not in anyway need an assistant or have the right to have an assistant Sir so why are you allowing her to have one? And most of all why are you assigning that to me?" This is outrageous, unbelievable.

"Because I can, and Sasha as work to do for me, she won't have the time. If you can't handle it then you can quit your job here are the documents," he threw them on the desk in front of me "if you can't carry out these tasks it will prove you are incapable of this position and you will be demoted good luck because you will need it." He said boring holes into my face.

"I can handle it." I said in defeat.

"Good for you, you both may leave my office." He said in his deep thick voice.

"Thank you boss." Sasha said and left but I just stood there surprised.

"I said leave my office you this shameless woman." He yelled and I quickly left his office, I wonder what he has against me.

"Hey Sasha wait up!" I called from behind her as I rushed to catch up to her but she didn't stop till she reached her desk, how can she treat a whole MD this way? Its outrageous.

"Looks like you being the MD does not mean anything anymore." She taunted.

"Meaning?" I asked with so much attitude, oh good lord, I feel like murdering this bitch right now, she has no ounce of manners in her.

"Now it seems I'm am more supreme than you, you are looking for an assistant for me, that's so nice of you a whole MD." She said with a disgusting smug on her face I wish I could wipe it off of her ugly face.

"I don't have business with you." I walked away from her

"I'm giving you work to do, either you will soon be demoted and I'll take your place or you will remain the MD but I'll be able to boss you around, which one is more belittling?" By now I was fuming, she is insulting me but I won't stand for this.

"Sasha you are suspended from work till further notice." I said eyeing her down.

"I don't think the boss will be too kin about me being suspended but I will respect you as the MD and accept your suspension but don't forget I need my assistant by Friday." She said and gave me a toothy smile she shouldn't ever do that again, that's a disgusting sight.

"Whatever!" I turned on my heels and left I feel so insulted, nevertheless I went back to my office. Even I don't have an assistant but Sasha is on the verge of having one but she is just a regular staff, I wonder why she fired her old one, probably so she can humiliate me by asking me to look for another one for her, I won't allow her to succeed will also look for an assistant for myself.

I should get started with one of these files, the first one says I have to pay irregular visit to the company whom I gave the contract to, that's as easy as pie but now I really need an assistant. The second file is the file where all the staffs records are, there is a note in a page of the file. This is Mr Bullard's handwriting, the note says "new staffs needed as an assistant." I will also hire an assistant for myself and a supervisor he or she will be the one to keep an eye on the company whom I issued the contract to.

I found five people that applied to be an assistant, I sent interview letters to those five people, I will interview them tomorrow, because I don't have much time. Since I have nothing more to do I will go and supervise all the workers to make sure they are doing their jobs well, Florence and Valentine are yet to turn in the file I asked them to work on, it was due last week Thursday, they should have brought it to my office first thing last week Thursday, I guess I'm going too easy on them nowadays, I left my office and went to meet them in their desk, a whole me.

"Florence, Valentine, to my office now." I said to them and went back to my office to wait for them, soonest they entered my office and stood with files in their hands.

"Why have you not submitted the files I gave you to work on, they were due last week, and I remember I asked you to work on some files a couple of weeks ago, you didn't submit those too, don't forget you can be easily replaced." I said with a boss lady tone, stern and firm.

"We are sorry ma'am." They said with their heads down.

"Sorry for yourselves, go and get me all the files that I handed out and has not be given back to me be back here in the next two minutes or say bye bye to your jobs." As soon as I said that they bolted out of my office and I frowned, I have been slacking in this job and I didn't even know.

Few minutes later a knock on my door sounded.

"Come in!"

"Here are all the files ma'am." They said panting.

"Did you two run a marathon?", I asked with a small smile "how many files are these in total?"

"Five." They said trying to steady their breathing.

"What!!! You mean to say five files have not been completely executed." I yelled in surprise, what on earth is going on in this company.

"Yes ma'am, all that is left is for you to give the go ahead." She said and I opened one of the files, it says to pay the salary of eighty workers.

"How can I give the go ahead for the payment of eighty workers when there are only seventy two workers in this company?!!"

I took the desk phone and called the head of account. "Hello, this is your MD freeze the accounts of all the workers now and come to my office with all the details of the expenditure of this company for the past three months now!" I really feel like an MD right now unlike with Sasha.

"You two can leave." As soon as I said that my phone rang its my foster dad calling I like to call him dad it gives me a sense of ease.

"Hello, good af-" I began with a small smile.

"Your mom was attacked by Dario she is seriously injured." Dad said with shaking voice.

"Where is she?" I asked in shock.

"She is in the general hospital and I'm here with her." He sounded so concerned and worried also scared too, who wouldn't be? The mother of his unborn child was attacked good lord please let them be alright.

"Okay I'll be there in an hour or two."

I can't believe this, Dario attacked my foster mom while she is pregnant I hope both her and her baby are okay I'm terrified, if he could enter into the house and hurt my foster mom then what would he do to me but why did he attack her? A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts "Come in!"

"Madam you asked for the account for the expenditure of this company."

"Yes, have you frozen the account of all the employees?" I asked.

"Yes Ma'am." He said.

"Come give me all the accounts and make it quick." He came to my side and did just that.

Forty five minutes later, I'll call the police and they'll investigate this matter, I can't believe this Atrocity the company has been paying salary for about twelve people for the past three months and those people are not working here they don't even exist.

One file down four more to go, there are two files that we were supposed to have put into action that are pending, the first is to pay "Chika's skin care company" two hundred thousand, their share of one of the contracts we held together its a good thing I found out now because if we don't pay by tomorrow they would call the police on us and put our company's reputation at stake.

I checked the file for the company account number and asked the account manager Jeff to send the money to them now. I became the MD a month ago, I didn't know all these were not done by the former MD that was sacked, its a good thing I decided to check it today or else we would have been toast, two files down three more to go. My mind is still racing from the call I had with my dad, I need to get to the hospital soon, I will finish the rest of the files tomorrow I'll go to the hospital now.
