Twenty Years Ago

"Grrrr!!" Sounded fhe bell so loud that it made Flora heart raced

Who could this be at this time of the night probably it was just few minutes past the hour of ten and also a sunday night

Everyone should be asleep by now

"Grrrrr!" Sounded the bell the second time and she stepped down from the bed, switch on the Torchlight then stepped out of the room

She walked briskly to the door then made to open it but stopped and leaned to it slowly

"Who is there?" She ask.

"Grrrr!"

"Who is there?'

"Open the door!' Replied a cold voice in a howl and she shrieked

She first glanced around to be sure the windows were all locked then tiptoed to her daughters room and sigh in relief when she saw it was locked.

Then she proceeded in the slow footsteps back to her room only to meet her sleeping husband.

"Honey!! Honey!! Honey!!!!" She tapped him hurriedly as she was so eager to make him wake up

"Grrrrr I" sounded the bell fiercely

"Honeeeeey!!'

Her husband jerked out of bed suddenly with how his wife woke him.

"Whats wrong my lady?"

"We have visitors,'

"What! Visitors?"

"Yes?"

"What visitors?'

"Here is the letter, he await your reply before twenty four hours ," said the huge able man after he handed a letter to them

Then he stumped out with his nen

Flora rushed to lock the door before she then turned and faced her husband

"Whats in the letter?" She ask curiously but with the look on her husband's face, he wasn't ready to tell his wife anything

"Honey say something.."

"It's nothing sweetie," he replied and Flora countenance changed

"What do you mean by its nothing? What arrangement did you have with those people that made them show up at this time of the night and i got alerted with their strange knock then here you are telling me it's nothing!"

"Yes sweetie it's nothing! What i mean is it's nothing bad,"

"But they looked weird!"

"Yes! But believe me sweetie it's nothing to worry about " he said convincingly hoping his logical woman won't think much

"Honey are you trying to hide something from me now?" She folded her arms and her husband faked a smile

"Like i said sweetie it's nothing, okay, I'm gonna open up everything. It's the strange offer we got from the nearby village concerning the plantation and it's something i need to got into negotiation and.."

"Fine! I understand now.." Flora exhaled and her husband smiled in relief.

"I was really scared honey!"

"Calm down! I wondered why they should even come out this night, come on lets sleep," he said and Flora climbed the bed.

But she slowly peeped to see where her husband kept the letter and luckily she could see before she pretended to be asleep

She still wasn't satisfied with the sudden visit of those hefty men along with a letter

That letter should not be meaningless and definitely there should be a reason for it which she would surely check it out.

Few minutes after, Don Sebastian glanced at him wife more and more to be sure she was fully asleep

Having make sure she was asleep, he slowly and carefully got up from the bed and reached for the letter as he opened it and began reading.

"What!!' He exclaimed with a shocking expression on his face

Deadly Mafia Jungle Squad

The door of the chamber was thrown opened as Don Marco showed up with the dangerous fierce look on his face

He was known to the third deadly mafia in Navarre.

"What do you want!' He asked coldly making Don Sebastian who didn't notice his presence flinched then turned and quickly bowed.

"Honour to you my lord! I received your message yesterday,"

"So?" He asked in his deep baritone voice

"My Lord please, i demand for another six months for "

"For what!!" Don Marco snarled

"You borrowed money for over Five years and your plea is always six month!! All the time you keep saying six months !! What Freaking six months!!" He laughed dangerously

"And you think Don Marco here will hid to it?" Now listen Sebastian, you have no mercy to speak for you so you think of your reputation!' The land you have in charge happens to be mine and you still haven't gotten the taxes, Axel is getting of age and i need to hand it over to him!"

"I promise you my Lord ."

"Save you silly promise! I need my land back," Said Don Marco and Sebastian gulped not knowing how to sound this to Marco cause its surely gonna end him in punishment

But he just have to opened up that he had used the money for a business to buy the land fully and hand it over to his older daughter but unfortunately the business collapsed after he did the little coronation of handling the land to her and now, he didn't know what to do.

He finally let it out to Don Marco who for over twenty minutes kept quiet and just stared at Sebastian then he laughed

A thing he does whenever his mind

tells him what to do quickly.

"I'll get back to you," he said and Sebastian was surprised.

He had expected a shout and order

for punishment but non.

Don Marco arose and went inside

Sebastian wondered if he should leave but remembered Marco didn't order him to so he had to wait for maybe his reply.

After twenty minutes Don Marco showed up and Sebastian stared at him while he stared at at him too

"Let them get married!" He said

Don Marco went back in leaving Sebastian in a bewildered state

First he thought of how he was gonna expand this to his life and them then the marriage

This was really a huge one but suddenly he smiled when he realized that was the only solution.

Diana, Princess of Dakar kingdom exhaled as she was done with her make up. She arose while checking herself every single bit on the mirror, she will be setting out for fhe year beauty contest on all the princesses.

"Wow!!" She exclaimed

"Who can compare this stunning beauty? Like that of Diana Sebastian?" She said to herself with her full ego

"Tonight is gonna be hot!'

She added and reached for her handbag, her phone and then her hand fan

She turned immediately only to see her two naughty sisters Lucia and Mina

"Wow! She did the funny make up once again?" Lucia began and Diana rolled her eyes with a pout

Her sisters will always have the opportunities to make fun of her and make sure she gets to feel bad but not anymore.

She was once a loner and a nobody just like they had made her be but not anymore cause she just turned twenty five years old

"So who are you competing with this time?"Lucia ask as she sat down to read her novel as usual

"No one," she replied and tucked her hair behind her ears

"Really no one?" Mina ask

"Listen, ion care to know what you guys are thinking but to be honest, i feel okay with my make up!" She boosted and they tried not to laugh but suddenly did

"Like seriously who are you competing with this time c'mon!"

"Tanya Karson," she sigh and opened up .

"What!' Tanya Karson! The one who is always known to be the winner in all the beauty contest! Cmon Diana i suggest you don't go for that ride," Lucia said and Mina nodded

"They do say, There isnt any harm in trying so I'm gonna do this," Diana.

The Beauty contest she had applied for was starting today and probably they were many contestants which she was at the top list and even tho she had been failing, she still want to give a try

And here are her sisters trying to make her loose hope.

"Don't worry girls when I'm done with this, you all are gonna enjoy every bit of what i will gain there," she said with a stunning smile

"What if you are forced to take off your make up," Mina ask and that alone faded Diana's smile.

"Meaning?"

"I mean what if youre asked to go on your natural beauty? You know your scars, pimples .."

"Enough! This gat to do with make up!" She snarled

"I just hope you don't fall in such category," Lucia said and laughed alongside Mina

"And what's all this? Are you guys here to mock me or to just conclude that in not beautiful?' She ask painly.

"That's exactly the point!!' Lucia said and Mina nodded

"You know what! I've had enough of you too, so leave!"

"Youre asking us out?"

"Leave!!!!!! Get out!!!! Get out!!!" She screamed and ghey quickly rushed out like one been chased by dogs.

Immediately they were out, Diana sigh heavily trying to stop herself from crying cause it surely gonna ruin her makeup

She glanced at herself once more on the mirror and did some corrections before leaving.

The guards and the maids said as Axel just alighted from the car and hurried in not even giving them respond

They never cared cause they were used to his logical and naughty behavior.

Luckily for them today he didn't interrogate anyone about whats this and whats that

And it seems he was in a hurry this moment.

He heard just when he was about climbing the stairs and spunned around to see his sister's kids probably triplets Jane Jasmine and Joel.

"We missed you so much Axel,"

Saud Jane who happens to be the sharp amongst them.

"Yeah i miss you too," He said thinking of a way to escape cause right now he was trapped.

The contest is about to start and here he is, he havent gotten the photo album

"Axel can you please set up this game for us?' Jasmine asked

"Ummm...not now okay! I'm already late . "

"You promised us didnt you?" Joel added

"Yes i did...and .."

"Here it is !" They showed him and luckily his mum Queen Petra showed up

"Back to your room!' She ordered coldly and like that they slowly walked away

Axel made to rush up the stairs but his mum blocked his way

"What about her?' She ask and he raised his brows

He sigh knowing fully well that his mum set up another date with a lady for him and he was so willing to escape

"Mum, that will be later!" He said .

"But she is already waiting for you c'mon son...!

"Mum please...right now I've gat somewhere important things to attend to.."

"Maybe next time" he replied and rushed off the stairs

Petra sigh out loud and shook ber head as she joins her husband Don Marco at his chamber.

On getting there She met him in his usual distress mood making her worried again.

"My lord," she called sitting beside him but unfortunately Don Marco was lost in his thought.

She watched him for a while before she breathed out and he then flinch when he noticed the presence of someone

"My lord! Are you okay?" She ask worriedly

"Why should i be okay when its time for me to hand over this throne to our only son but he doesnt look like one who is ready for this neither to go according to the traditions." He said

"My lord, for the traditions, leave it for me, I'll make him understand that it's our tradition for the prince to get married before taking over his father's throne and guess what,i already spoke with Olivia and she will be the right woman for him,"

Queen Petra said joyfully hoping to please her husband .

"Thats already too late cause he is already bethroted,' he said shocking his wife to her bone

Axel who was passing by stopped on hearing the last word Bethroted.

"To who my lord." Asked Petra in bewilderment

"You will know in few months," Stated Don Marco

Axel arched his brows when it dawned on him he was the one they were talking about, he knew they would always talk about him not wanting to get married and Suzanne had already talked of an arranged marriage which he kicked against so much. This time he will surely interfere. Then he stumped in

"Am i bethroted to someone?" He ask making his parents turn immediately and just his voice alone made the heart of his father skipped.

"Betrothed!!" Petra repeated and arose as she went over to where her son stood while Axel only waited for his reply.

"What did you hear son?" Marco ask.

"Don't tell me you've been eavesdropping on our conversation!' he howled and Axel gulped.

"Not so dad,"

"Then what else!!"

"My Lord please calm down! Son we weren't talking about you, i know what you're thinking!" Petra consoled and Axel rolled his eyes.

"Fine mum, but i just hope you aren't hiding something from me," he muttered and walked away.

Petra sigh and went back to her husband

"Our son can.be perplexed at times,"

"Make sure you don't tell him anything , for now untill it's the right time," Said Don Marco with so much mean in his voice .

Diana arrived home late that night with the proudest smile like never before.

It turned out to be her luck that she won in the beauty contest this time and within a twinkle of an eye her name was trending every social media of her winning team.

"Congratulations girl!!" Lucia exclaimed and hugged Diana who quickly reciprocate the hug.

"It's time to pop this!!!"Mina shouted and they joined.

It was a huge celebration that night as they celebrated her sucess and while doing so here was Tanya in her own room fuming in anger and agitation.

She sipped her wine over and over again still not trying to believe She loose this time.

But it was obviouse she loose.

And everything about her have been taken away and handed to Princess Diana Sebastian

"Noooooo!!"

She screamed out throwing her glass of wine and every other thing around her.

She was in total anguishment and full tears of bitterness cause right now all her effort was in vain.

"Grrrrrr..... Someone of the phone...Prince orlando ...Prince orlando..."

Her heart raised on hearing that from her phone. She quickly wiped off her tears and grabbed the phone.

"Hello Orland .."

The call ended and she sigh in frustration.

She really needs to get rid of that lady even before dawn.

Next day Axel came down the stairs with just his ear pud and phone looking hot than ever.

The maids droll at just his sight as they kept murmuring probably decribing how handsome he looked.

"Axel!!" His sister called just when he was about stepping out.

"Suzanne!" He called and smiled at her as they embraced each other.

"How have you been?'

"I'm fine and ....there isn't any need of asking you about how you are cause you're already stunning!" She said and he winked making her laugh.

"What about the kids? You didn't bring them today?"

"Yeah, cause i actually came for just one message and that's from the plantation the workers havent gotten their pay yet after serving a month at Dakar's kingdom and not even a compensation!!" She said.

"Wasn't that an offer from Princess Diana?"

"Yes it was but it was a wrong and bad offer," she said

"Fine, get some cash and foodstuffs and hand it over to them right now,"

"That's a good one!"

"Greetings my princess," Said the maids as diana approached them.

She stopped and looked at them one after the other with just one dirty glare

"Who is to clean my room this week?" She ask.

"I your highness," Mildred spoke and Diana faced her.

"So why then is my room looking tattered and dirty!!!" She yelled

"Your highness, i just finish cleaning the room..." A slap from Diana arrested the remaining words landing her directly to the ground. Mildred bursted into tears holding her cheeks that were already turning red.

"Toya!!!! Toya!!" She called out on the chief maid who showed up within a second.

"She is fired!!" She stated.

"Noooooo!!!" Cried out Mildred in plea.

"Your highness, I'm sorry but if i may ask whats her offence?" Asked Toya in bewilderment.

"She denied cleaning my room and you know i hate liars!!" She retorted and heard footsteps turning to see her bestie princess Adelaide.

"Hi girl!!" She beamed and rushed to go give her a hug while Toya faced Mildred.

"Ma'am. I was innocent, i just cleaned her room..."

"Sssshsh? I know you did it right but from the look of things it seems she doesn't want you anymore that's the only thing she does as to make her convinced that you are at fault so don't worry, you will get another suitable job okay?" Toya consoled Mildred who kept sniffing tears.

"What!!" Diana exclaimed rising up from her seat.

Adelaide just broke the news to her about Axel's help on the workers at the plantation which pushed her to a state of rage.

"How could he!!! Who does he think he is to come show off himself here in my father's land?! He isn't worth a thing so why then should he do this!!"

"C'mon Diana what are you saying? This is Princess Axel we're talking about here! And he isn't just a prince but a celebrity and you know what, he is a Mafia,"

Adelaide said and all Diana could do was just laugh.

"I hate Mafias!!!!! They are worth nothing !! They are useless and a nobody! Those workers don't deserve those awards! They don't!!!!"

"So what are your plans?* Adelaide ask knowing fully well Diana was up to something.

"Watch and see," she said and grabbed her hand fan as she stumped out of the room.

Adelaide stared at the floor wondering what she was up to. She also arose and quickly followed her friend.

Said the workers as they collected each of the cash and food items from the guards Axel had sent.

And all of a sudden , they heard gun shot startling everyone as they turned to the directions to see Cars driving in.

They all cleared the road as the first car stopped and Diana alighted along with her guards.

She walked up to Suzanne.

She clapped her hands as they stared at each other while Suzanne wondered what was really the problem.

"This is against my wish!! You can't come in here you mistaken creature to do this in my land,"

She said.

"Yes i know but as you can see, im not doing the wrong thing, how long have this people here worked and all you do us complain and never appreciated them! Thats unfair!! Am i right?' Suzanne faced everyone

"Yes you are!!!" They responded and Diana chuckled

"Wow! Wow! And wow!!' She said

"Now listen everyone im just gonna give you guys ten minutes to depart from this premises else...'

"Else what!!' Suzanne chipped in approaching her slowly

"I'll do my worst !!"

"Do it and you'll face the wrath from Axel! Anc not only Axel but from my father,"

"Who is your father? And who is Axel, tell them that i princess Diana send ny regards to them..., guards, set the land ablaze," she ordered and within a twinkle of an eye, the plantation was set on fire to the utmost shock of everyone.
