Chapter 1 1.Mate

Ava's POV

I am Ava, the daughter of the Blue River Clan Alpha, Robert. Members of our Clan address him with all sort of titles from a simple "Sir, Lord, My Liege," to even more absurd words in our native language that sound like short songs, "Hahaha...funny bunch, " but to me he's just daddy.

To the public, he's stern and commands immense power within our Clan, I think some of those folks even fear him. My father is a wise and kind wolf who has always been there for me. He loves me deeply and spoils me with gifts, but sometimes I feel suffocated by his love and protectiveness. We have a close bond, but I can't help but feel a longing for something beyond the walls of the Blue River Clan territory, I have not been out of our little village since I was born and I am nineteen years old.

My father has always been a source of comfort and wisdom for me, there was a time when I was still a cub when he had to tell me something that would change my life. It was a dark and stormy night, and the house was filled with shadows. The only light in the room came from the flickering fire in the fireplace. He spoke to me in a low, trembling voice.

"Ava, my daughter, I have something important to tell you," he began. The sound of his voice filled my heart with fear.

"Your mother, her name was Bella" he said slowly, his words catching in his throat, "passed away when you were born. She gave her life to bring you into this world, and I want you to know how much she loved you. She would want you to live your life to the fullest, to never give up on your dreams."

I felt a lump form in my throat as tears stung my eyes. I had never known my mother, but I could feel her love and sacrifice in my heart. I was grateful for my father's love, but knowing the depth of my mother's love for me filled me with a sense of awe and wonder.

I have always been fascinated by the outside world and the endless possibilities it holds. I've spent countless hours wandering through the our Clan's territory, exploring every nook and cranny of the vast forest. I've seen things that most wolves have never even dreamt of, from the towering mountains to the crystal-clear rivers that wind their way through the land.

"Hello, Princess Ava!"

I chuckled and gave her a hug, "Mia, you know that I don't like when you call me that. Even though I'm the daughter of the Blue River Clan Alpha, I'm still just Ava."

"I know, I know but you are. You're the princess of the Blue River Clan and deserve to be treated as such."

I rolled my eyes, "Alright, Mia, you win this round but you have to promise to stop calling me Princess Ava."

Mia smiled, "Deal."

"Your dad was really firm about the harvest dispute," Mia said, "I don't think anyone else could have dealt with it the way he did."

"You know, my dad is always stern in public, but behind closed doors he loves to spoil me with gifts. He's really a big softy when it comes to me."

Mia smiled, knowing exactly what I meant. "That's true, Ava. Your dad is one of a kind and he loves you so much."

"You know, Mia," I said, "Even though my dad is so loving and caring, sometimes I just want to break out of this place. I want to see what else is out there, to explore the world beyond the walls of the Blue River Clan territory. I wonder what other wolf packs are like and how they differ from our own."

"I understand, Ava. It's natural to want to broaden your horizons, to see what else the world has to offer. We're lucky to have such a strong and stable home like the Blue River Clan territory, but it can't hurt to venture a little further."

I hugged back, feeling grateful for her support. "Thank you, Mia. You're a good friend."

"Mia, how did you fare in the interclan warrior-only event?" I asked her, curiosity etched on my face.

"I made it to the top five finalists!" she exclaimed with pride in her voice. "It was such a tough competition, but I'm so glad I persevered. I even took down the previous champion in the semi-finals."

"Congratulations, Mia! You truly are the best female warrior in the Blue River Clan and with the way you're growing, I'm sure you'll become number one even with male warriors soon."

Mia's face lit up at my compliment, "Thank you, Ava. It means a lot to hear you say that. I'll keep working hard to reach my full potential."

"Mia, there have been three different Clan men who have been asking about you, seems your plan is working."

Mia's expression changes from shocked to sly in an instant. "Yes, I am aware of the effect I have on men," she says, with a smile on her face. "I'm not even finished with the plan."

"Well, I have to admit, I admire your initiative. It's not easy to be bold in a society like this. Just be careful, okay?"

Mia nods, "Don't worry, Ava. I can handle myself."

I smiled back at her. "I know you can. You're a strong and capable wolf. Just remember to be careful, okay?"

"I will, Ava. Thank you for being a real friend. Quill sent his greetings."

"Oh, dear troublesome Quill." I said with a knowing smile. "How did he fare at the tournament."

"My brother barely made top ten, I guess he did great too."

"You and Quill make the Blue River Clan shine in such competitions, I am sure Clan members are grateful to you two."

"You are right, Ava. We have turned into celebrities within the clan." Mia said as she walked to the window to peep outside.

"Mia, it is hard to believe you are the same girl that used to get bullied." I said as we both burst into laughter.

I remember the first time I saw you being bullied at the playpen.

"Stop it," I said firmly.

"This isn't funny, and you're hurting her feelings. Leave her alone!"

The other cubs looked shocked, and some of them muttered under their breath, but they backed off. Mia looked up at me, her eyes wide with gratitude.

"Thank you," she said softly, her voice trembling. I smiled at her, feeling a sense of satisfaction. I knew I'd done the right thing.

"Ava please stop." Mia said playfully stamping her feet on the floor.

"Ava, I have to say, you're really good at healing with herbs. Warriors may be essential to the Clan, but natural healers like you are just as important," Mia said, looking at me with admiration.

I smiled at her, "Thank you, Mia. I'm always happy to be of help. Natural methods of healing are just as important as traditional methods, if not more so. They have been around for generations, and we have always relied on them for their well-being."

"I couldn't agree more and your talent for it is something that the Clan should be proud of. You have the ability to help so many people, and that's a wonderful thing."

"Mia, did you see how Quill handled himself on the pitch during the tournament?" I asked, feeling a hint of admiration in my voice. "He was so handsome and played so well and many girls came to watch him." I said with my expression changing from admiration to a little jealousy.

Mia looked at me with a smirk, "Of course I did, Ava. He was a star on the pitch, and I couldn't take my eyes off him but what I loved most was how he treated his opponents, both on and off the field. He was always kind and respectful, even when the game got heated."

"That's true. Quill is a wonderful warrior and a true gentleman. He always knows how to make people feel comfortable, and his personality shines through no matter what the situation."

Mia smiled, "I know, right? He has such a positive energy about him, and it's impossible not to like him."

"Quill is a great role model for all of us in the clan, both as a warrior and as a person. We're lucky to have him on our side." I said as I took a biscuit from the snack tray on the table.

Quill liked to act like the boss at times, giving orders to the rest of our peers and expecting us to follow his lead.

When the time came for me to be engaged, my father knew he had to choose the right mate for me. One evening, as we sat together in the sitting room, he cleared his throat and began to speak.

"Ava, my dear," he said, his voice gentle but firm.

"It is time we started considering your future. You are almost eighteen now, and the time has come for you to be engaged." My heart skipped a beat as I looked at my father, unsure of what was coming next.

"You see, my love," my father continued, a glimmer of pride in his eyes.

"You are the daughter of the most respected Wolf in the Blue River Clan. It is only fitting that we choose a suitable mate for you, and I have chosen Quill."

As I tried to process what daddy was saying, I was a bit excited. I have always know Quill had a thing for me even as cubs.

"But father," I said, my voice shaking slightly.

"I don't know if I'm ready for this. I'm still so young." You are a woman my dear, daddy replied with a smile.

Mia and I met at the town square as the sun was setting. The air was crisp and the sky was painted with a beautiful array of pinks and purples as the Feasts of Luna began.

"It's just starting," she said, smiling. "Wait until the moon rises and the fireworks start! Then you'll really be in awe."

I nodded, feeling my heart race with anticipation. "I can't wait. This is just the beginning, and I already feel like I'm in a dreamscape."

As I danced alone in a corner under the moon, I felt his strong arms gently grab me from behind as he drew me closer and moved like his body was part of mine.

He towered over me, his body felt like it was sculpted from marble. I gave him a good grind as his muscles hardened and softened to follow my dance moves.

It wasn't long before I felt his hard penis against my cunt. It was like a thick shaft. I continued grinding and rubbing my now moist cunt against his shaft.

By this point the silk under garment I was wearing already gave way and I felt his skin rub against mine. He held my waist with both hands and tried to enter my cunt from behind but I withdrew a bit as I felt the pain of his thick penis pushing against my hymen.

"Wow, a virgin," I heard him mutter.

He made some moves that made my pussy drip and before I knew it, I felt his thick penis sliding into me. I let out a soft moan.

It was a bitter sweet feeling but I didn't want it to end. He was as gentle as he could be as he rode me to multiple orgasms.

Tears dripped down my cheeks as I orgasmed repeatedly.

Eventually, my legs felt so weak and unable to carry me, he pulled me into a nearby tent, he lifted me up and fucked me so hard, just as he was about to shoot his load he withdrew and blasted his thick load on the floor.

We both collapsed on the bed and fell asleep. The following morning, I woke up feeling sore in my pussy and lying naked to a nude male werewolf I have no memory of. He embraced me drawing me close to himself as he gave me a kiss saying

"Morning, mate." The shock sent a shiver down my spine and it was obvious for him to see it from my facial expression.

Chapter 2 2.Little Wolf

Ava's POV

The sun rose slowly over the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the tent and enhancing the features of the wolfman I woke up with, whom I had no clue of.

"Little wolf, what's your name?" His words pierced my heart as I tried desperately to free myself from his arms.

"I asked you a question," he demanded, a playful grin forming on his face as he wrapped his arms tighter around my body. It felt as if a python was holding me captive with no intention of letting me go.

"What's your name?" He repeated.

"I don't want to tell you," I said, my voice barely audible. "Please, let me go."

He did not release his hold, instead pulling me closer to him.

"Come now, little wolf." His voice was low and seductive. "I want to know everything about you, and your name is the first step. Do you really want to keep me in the dark, sweetheart?"

I struggled futilely, clearly I was no match for his strength.

"My name is Ava," I blurted out in all the frustration, aware that I had just given him something that he could hold over me forever. He just smugly grinned at my answer, probably proud he was able to get it out of me.

"Little wolf, I'm delighted with you." His voice filled with genuine emotion and the glint his eyes as he stared at me; as if I was the most precious thing in the whole world.

"I want to take you away with me-make you my mate! You are going to be my princess, and we will live happily together, with beautiful cubs of ours."

I could not believe what I was hearing! "This is not what I want! Let me go!" I yelled, struggling with his grip, his steely eyes became sober, boring into mine as his grasp tightened.

"You're mine now." It took his low, velvety voice to remind me I was naked as its spastic vibration was felt throughout my whole body.

"You belong to me, and you always will. If you try to run, I'll find you. I'll never let you go." His threat sent a chill down my spine and that moment, I realised I was trapped. Really trapped, and this warewolf-whoever he was-wasn't going to let me go that easily. Even his strong grip was evident he wasn't at all ready for parting.

"You are just going to turn me down like that?" he said, his voice laced with frustration. "After what happened last night, you are just going to walk away. Are you just going to leave me to with only the memories of those incredible moments we shared? Are you?"

"What do you want from me?" There, I said it. Who did the think he was telling me all these? "How can you act like I am the one in the wrong here? You took my virginity while I wasn't clear in the head, and now you are trying to guilt trap me into taking responsibility," I shot back, trying to wriggle myself out of his embrace in the process. "But I'm sorry, I can't be with you. I have a life, a family, and a promise to keep. I can't just leave all that behind for you."

He looked at me, dark commiseration flickering across his features, as though he couldn't believe I was being so shortsighted.

"Don't you see, little wolf? You don't have a choice anymore."

His words frightened me, yet I kept my resolve. I won't accept this. I'll free myself and leave as soon as possible.

"You gave your virginity to me," he snapped me out of my thoughts. "and now your fate is intertwined with mine. You are my mate now, whether you like it or not."

Finally, he loosened his embrace and suddenly I felt like I could breathe again.

"I can't do that. I won't do that," I said, more to myself than to him. "You need to find yourself another mate, someone who actually wants to be with you. I am not that person."

His frown deepened as soon as he realized how serious I was.

"Please I have to go," I begged, clumsily gathering the remains of my clothes on my way to leave.

Dauntingly, I turned around to face him again, looking away as soon as I met his irritated haze. " You don't seem to be from around here since you look completely unfamiliar."

"And I know all the wolfmen in the Blue River Clan," I added.

To break the tension, I start to put on my coat and turn towards him with a small smile. "I'm sorry, but I really need to go now."

When he doesn't say anything, I swallow and respond tentatively, "I have to go home, my dad will already be looking for me."

Just as I thought everything was understood and I was free to leave, the wolf grabs my arm once again and pulls me closer, his grip firm around my wrist.

"Wait a minute," he said, his voice low and deep. "What's your age, little one?"

Panic begins to set in again ad realization hits me. He wasn't going to let me leave without answering all his questions. I was trapped! I took a deep breath and tried to stay calm. I was going to answer all his questions and leave immediately.

"I'm nineteen years old," I state quietly, hoping that he'll be satisfied with my answer. To my relief, the wolf just releases his grip on my wrist, but continues to stare at me with a hungry look in his eyes. Strangely, I began to feel an eerie attraction towards him, one I have never felt before. His physique, his confidence, his dominant aura. They all seemef to appeal me. Suddenly, I find myself inexplicably drawn to him.

"I'm thirty seven." He told me, flatly.

A mix of shock and confusion washes over me. "Thirty-seven? You look so young; hardly a day over twenty-five. How could you be that old and still look so good?"

He stood up and walked towards me, not acknowledging my question. Though, I noticed his now partially erect dick swinging from side to side as he approached me. I felt my pussy get wet again. Just when I was about to leave.

"Please stay where you are," I begged him. "Don't come any closer."

However, my body said the opposite. I could not help but be appalled by him. His rugged good looks and intense gaze, the way his deep hazel eyes stared at me urged me to move forward, yet I held my stance as my mind wandereded to thoughts of my father.

"I can't imagine being with a man who's almost my dad's age." I said in a low voice. I wasn't sure if he heard me since he just as he grabbed me gently, wordlessly, as his penis wedged between my thighs and crotch. We had done enough talking for one meeting. I looked away, feeling a blush creep up my neck to my cheeks.

"Please stop, I don't even know your name."

He pulled back suddenly, I could feel the intensity of his gaze on me. How could a stranger make me feel so hot inside? Placing his hand on my chin, he lifted my face until my eyes met his. "My name is William."

I couldn't even register his name when his large hands reached out, grasping my hips possessively, pulling me closer to him. The proximity made me feel his hard chest and I fought the urge to feel them up. All that's happening right now isn't right.

"Oh, please stop. This is not right," I voice out my thoughts but they come out weaker than expected. It was also the same way I had tried to pull away from him. Weakly.

"Relax my little she-wolf, you do not have to fight this" was William's reply as my body arched into his touch, craving more of his intoxicating contact. His nimble fingers skillfully lifted up my gown and pulling it over my head and discarded it, revealing the creamy expanse of my skin and my lacy panties that barely concealed my dripping clit, his eyes became dark, demanding as it carefully devoured the sight before him.

"You are so beautiful, so innocent, so sweet, your breasts are like blooming petals of a rose flower in the morning," he continued as he lowered his head, he captured one of my hardened nipples between his lips, sucking and nipping at it with a delicious mix of pleasure and pain.

"This is not right, please stop, please stop." My resolve weakened. His tongue was so skillful, I threw my head back as my eyes rolled to the back of my head. Reluctantly, my fingers found its way to his soft long midnight black hair, guiding him lower, yearning for his touch to descend further. He obliged, his hands deftly sliding down my body. Positioning me against the tent wall.

"Ah, ah please be gentle, I am still sore from last night," I said aloud this time as William pressed his body against mine, his throbbing dick straining against my wet cunt. I gasped as I felt William's throbbing penis slide into me, teasing my entrance every now and then before driving his thick shaft deep.

I let out a soft cry. With each thrust, we moved in perfect synchrony, a blend of pleasure and resistance. The tent seemed to shrink around us, our bodies filling the space with our impassioned cries and the intoxicating scent of sex. As our climax approached, time seemed to stand still. My body tensed, my muscles constricting around William's pulsating penis. Together, we reached the pinnacle of ecstasy, waves of pleasure crashing over us, our cries of release mingling in the air. I could barely think straight, not to speak of how to escape him before we started fucking again.

"This feels way too good to resist," I mumbled to myself, hoping he didn't hear me succumbing so soon.

"I need to get home to my father as quickly as possible," I said before finally leaving his intoxicating presence.

"Wait!" Before William can be able to stop me, I dashed out of the tent.

"Why do I feel so guilty that I left so suddenly?" I asked myself as I approached the path leading to my house.

As I neared the house, I couldn't help but wonder: "What had just happened?"

Chapter 3 3.Scent

Ava's POV

"My lady, Mia is waiting for you in your bedroom," the maid informed me.

As soon as I got to my room and spotted Mia lounging casually on my bed, I felt some familiarity and peace.

"Hey!" She smiles widely at me. "Really, I didn't see you again last night after we danced together at the festival."

She stood up and began walking over to where I sat on the bed, taking a seat beside.

"I know what you must be thinking and you don't have to worry. I told your father you were assisting some female wolves with errands, or else he would have been searching for you everywhere."

"Oh my, thank you so much Mia." I heaved a sigh of relief. It seemed as of a burden had been taking off my shoulders. "Goodness knows what would have happened if you didn't tell my Dad. Thanks."

She waves off the gratitude then her face turns serious. "But really, I've been so worried sick about you?" She puts my hand in hers. "So, princess Ava, do you mind telling me where you were last night?"

She raised a questioning brow at me and I removed my eyes immediately, caught off guard by her question. Trying to swallow my guilt, I replied, stammering. "I- um...I don't really remember."

"Really." She stared at me blankly. "You don't remember?"

"I had a bit too much to drink last night. So you can't expect me to remember everything," I try defending and to my relief, she seemed to relax and buy what I just told her.

"Ava, now look, you missed out! You should have seen the place last night!" She rolled her eyes and bracef herself to explain the festival, proudly since she was the one who did the organizing.

"The moon was so bright; I'd never seen it illuminate so brightly before! And you know what? The whole forest was lit up with lanterns and candles... the food-" she moaned at the memory "-so tasty! And music. Amazing! Everyone was in such high spirits! Even your Dad!"

Her eyes widened with wonder as she recalled the night.

"I can't believe you missed most of it!" She shook her head in pity. "It's definitely one of the most important events of the year for our clan. What were you thinking wondering off like that?! We've been celebrating this for generations. It's the one festival that brings everyone together."

Then Mia started explaining the festival to me as if I was not as knowledgeable about it as she was. "It celebrates the beginning of the winter solstice, the longest night of the year. It's a time to honor our ancestors and give thanks for the harvest we received throughout the year. It's also a time to remember that the sun will start to rise again soon, and that the darkness doesn't last forever. It's a reminder that no matter how dark things may seem, there's always hope for light and warmth to return."

I listened quietly, my eyelids becoming heavy from the small amount of sleep I got last night and the my cunt still throbbing from the ploughing William gave me.

Mia smiled. "Well, at least there's always next year. And who knows, maybe next year you will be more available to enjoy the entire night." She eyes me disappointed. "Do you know what makes the moon festival so special-everyone has a role to play, and everyone gets to be a part of something greater than themselves-"

"Excuse me," I interrupted. "I'm sorry, I really neef to use the restroom and you know, change into something more comfortable."

Though I could sense she was a bit disappointed by my interruption, Mia nodded understandingly. "Of course. Take your time."

I stood up and made my way towards the bathroom, relief flooding over me at the opportunity to take a break from Mia's enthusiasm.

When I returned, Mia didn't take long before returning to our earlier discussion.

"It's okay, I understand. It happens." She consoled me, trying to offer some needed reassurance.

I smiled at her. "Thanks for understanding. I'm just glad nothing bad happened last night."

She nodded. "Me too."

After a moment, she added, "Let's just make sure to take care of each other, always. Okay?"

We both beam at each other, we both feeling the warmness of friendship.

After a moment of silence, Mia suddenly leaned towards me, her concerned eyes fixed on my face.

"Mia, what's wrong?"

Without acknowledging my question, she took in a deep breath, then let it out slowly before she blinked a few times. Pausing for a second, she took the opportunity to size up my appearance.

"Hmm," she hummed, knowingly while I self-consciously remained still, trying not to draw attention to myself.

I'm I'll at ease when Mia's gaze rested on my skin as she sized me up like a piece of meat.

"Is something the matter?" I asked agian, more firmly.

"I'll have an answer for you soon," she replied then proceeded to sniffing the air. I twitched when she began to trace the line of my jaw bone with her thumb.

"Can you just tell me what's wrong?" I asked, worried.

It's dead silent again. Until, she states:

"You're hiding something."

The statement was quiet, making my heart stop.

I flinched, caught off guard by Mia's sudden accusation.

"What do you mean? I-" I was about to protest when I felt a strange feeling of recognition spreading through my stomach. It was the mark! Mia had spotted the small, faint, reddish scar on my neck!

"How did you...?" Mia whispered, more to herself. Then, her face split into a toothy grin, her eyes piercing icily through my defenses.

"I do not know what you are talking about Mia," I tried to keep up a strong face but the way my heart raced I'm my chest betrayed my resolve.

Mia draw closer, sniffing deeply at the air around me.

"Mia say what you have in mind and stop acting strange." I look away guiltily. "Or are you just trying to spook me over nothing?"

"Ava relax, I haven't said anything," Mia replied as she sniffed the edge of my neck. "...yet."

Abruptly, she sat up straight and her forehead wrinkled as she studied me. "Your scent is odd. It's yours but it's mixed with a stronger smell. A smell that isn't yours. That scent might be faint but-" she sniffed again "-it's still there."

I'm still trying to understand what she said when her fingers found my crotch.

"Ouch! Mia please stop. It hurts!" Quickly, I removed her hand from the sensitive area.

"Wow!" She shook her head at me with surprise. "Ava there's so much you are not telling me. Seems you're finally putting your vagina to use!"

"Shh!" I covered Mia's mouth. "Mia, please spare me this embarrassing talk, I really don't need this kind of stress at this point."

Mia laughed cruelly, mischief dancing in her bright eyes. She was clearly savouring the moment.

"Don't worry, my darling Ava." Mia smirked. "I won't tell anyone about your secret passionate night."

Then she started laughing again. "You see, I knew there was a lingering scent of sex in the air. I just knew it!"

"Gosh, Mia stop. This is so embarrassing," I pleaded with her.

She just ignored all my begging and leaned in closer, her nose still twitching as she tried to get a better read on me. "Hmm... and what did this... 'mate' of yours smell like to you?"

Her grin was so sly, she almost looked like a vixen. Suddenly, I felt a heat rise up my neck and I was almost sure my cheeks were already a bright red.

"I do not know," I replied, honestly. "I don't think I've ever met him before."

She shrugged then chuckled, amused by the current situation. "Well, you must have left one heck of a scent on him to make him think you are his mate," Mia teased.

She observed my shy features for a some time. Eventually, her playful attitude shifted to one of understanding and comfort.

"Hey, virginity isn't a big deal. Well, as long as it was not lost to someone from the Shadow Clan. Trust me dear, there's nothing to be fretting on about."

Then, like any caring friend would do, she gave me a tight, warm hug.

"Thank you, Mia. I don't know what I would have done without your support."

She pulled away with a sudden serious expression. "Speaking of the Shadow Clan, my father saw a bunch of their wolfmen sailing past the Blue River Clan's territory a few days back. I think some of them even attended the festival."

A frown grew on her face while she said with determination, "I'm planning on seeing for myself just how skilled and loathed the Shadow Clan wolves really are by our Clan elders."

"Do you know how long I've been hearing stories about the wolfmen of the Shadow Clan?" She widened her eyes at me. "Since I was a cub! And now that they are so close to our home, I want to see for myself just how fearsome they are."

Mia's face darkened as she spoke. "Back then rumors had it that they're stronger, faster, and more brutal than any other wolfmen. They are said to have a hunger for violence that borders on madness, and they will not hesitate to slaughter any creature, including members of their own tribe! And now, those rumors have been proven right."

"Yes, I've heard it's true," I added.

"When I was a cub, my Dad also told me stories about the wolfmen of the Shadow Clan. He said they were fearsome and dangerous." I shifted closer to her. "With a reputation for raiding and stealing from other wolves! They were known to be fierce and fearless, and my Dad even told me tales of how they would terrorize other wolves and their homes. They're terrible."

"I know. But there is something about them that fascinates me," Mia admitted and I looked up only to see her lost in her thoughts. "I have to be very cautious about approaching them since I can't afford to put my family in danger."

Then, she looked at me. "Yet. There's something dragging me to know more about this Clan. Perhaps I'm just foolish, but I just can't seem to shake the feeling that there might be more to them than what the stories say."

She seemed as if she was trying to come to a solid conclusion in her head.

"You really think so Mia?" I asked, now hooked in her theory. But, just like the Mia I know, she shrugs it off and smiled casually.

"Nevermind."
