"Curiosity killed the kitty Miss Jackson. My body tensed. I turned slowly around to find Mr. Parker standing in front of me, hands in his pants pockets. I bit my lower lip. I expected him to be furious when I glanced at him. His expression was emotionless. He then began heading toward me, and I stepped back. This continued until my back collided with the door. Then he put one hand on my side and leaned forward, close to me. "Miss Jackson, what was rule number three?" His face was so close to mine that I couldn't breathe. Why couldn't I answer his question? Because I was more concerned with the space between us. "I had a question for you, Miss Jackson." He said it once more. "T-that t-there are forbidden spots i-in the home where I shouldn't g-go." "You seem to recall the regulations. This is one of those forbidden regions. So, the next time you get yourself into trouble, think again." I gazed at him. I became caught in those sea-colored eyes. Mr. Parker is the only man who has ever had such an impact on me. I feel anxious when I'm near him. I'm not sure what this emotion is, but it's distinct. A sensation I've never had with anybody else. "Understood?" he inquired one again. I agreed by nodding. "Certainly, Mr. Parker." ***************** Liam Parker is a billionaire who is 25 years old. The only thing that matters to him is his kid and his profession. He is arrogant, attractive, and cruel. Anna Jackson is a 24-year-old simple and joyful girl who lives in an orphanage with her Nanny. What will happen when Anna arrives as Liam's son's babysitter? Let's see what happens in the story.....

Chapter 1 Everything Is a Mess

JACKSON, ANNA

Speaking of my life, it's a shambles. I was two years old when my mother, or maybe someone else I don't recall, abandoned me in an orphanage. I was raised in an orphanage. The orphanage was modest, with just myself and perhaps ten other children. They all despised me because Nanny loved me more than everybody else.

If you're curious about Nanny, she was the person in charge of the orphanage, and let me tell you; she's fantastic. She is getting older, yet she still thinks she is youthful and has more vitality than me. She is my life and my soul family. I adore her. You're probably asking why I said 'used to,' since everyone at that orphanage was adopted, leaving just Nanny and me. Nanny warned me many times, but I refused to be adopted by anybody. I wished I could live with her. So it's no longer an orphanage; it's just Nanny and me now.

I was working my regular shift at the café. I was standing behind the counter, watching the people. When you're bored, you have no other choice.

That guy over there, why is he gazing at the coffee as if it were his first time seeing one?

This is how old people are. You are powerless to intervene. My conscience informed me.

Oh, and that man over there, he's not even looking at the sumptuous meal; instead, he's staring at that blonde doing her makeup.

Guys nowadays. UGH!!

That youngster is adorable. Looking at the coffee while clapping his hands, Huh! At least one person is content.

He is just a child.

Oh my goodness! What exactly is that dude doing there? Is he going to use the fork to kill the cake? No! Don't you dare to destroy it; I baked that lovely dessert.

Oh my God! How will he eat it if he doesn't kill it?

That is not my concern.

And he assassinated my cake.

It was all for nothing. I could assassinate him as well.

It will help if you put an end to your illegal beliefs.

"Hello there." A voice spoke out. I returned from my dream world.

"Ma'am, welcome to 'The Hideout.' What can I do for you?" I inquired politely and sweetly.

"Cappuccino," she grumbled.

I despise individuals like this.

"How many, ma'am?" I inquired gently again.

"Is there anybody else with me? Are you insane or what? Just hurry up and deliver it. I don't have the whole day available to me."

She then proceeded to take a seat.

Bitch.

I immediately prepared her a cappuccino and went to deliver it to her. "Enjoy your coffee!" I remarked as I placed it on her table.

She sipped and then spat. "Eww! Do you even call this a cup of coffee? This tastes like crap."

Okay, I understand. Her taste is terrible. Because I make the greatest coffee in this house, that is something everyone says.

"Go ahead and create another."

What the heck happened?

"All right... and I'm very sorry." I promptly made another one, tasting it as I did.

Yep! It's ideal.

I'm fantastic.

I approached her again and placed her coffee on the table.

"Here is your Cappuccino, Ma'am."

She tried it again.

Ha! Say bitch now.

I patted myself on the back inwardly.

She spat the coffee out of her lips once again.

"You have no idea how to brew a basic Cappuccino." She stood up and yelled in my ear. "Do you get paid to stare at everyone that walks by? You're such a waste of time."

I gazed at her, stunned.

"Please excuse me?"

"Oh! As a result, this garbage now has a hearing impairment."

"Ma'am, you are a client, so I respect you. You cannot speak to me in that manner."

"Oh my goodness. So, how do I approach you?" She then shoved me aside.

"Huh? Please tell me."

"Come on, garbage; I'm out of time." She pushed me once more.

That's it, babe.

No!

Stop!

You've got a job. No!

Screw the job.

The man who had killed my slice of cake was standing in front of me. I grabbed the cake and smacked it in her face. She was taken aback.

"Tell me, ma'am, who is a jerk." With the same grin I had previously, I said.

She gave me a look before heading in my way. "YOU'RE A BITCH!!"

I locked her hand behind her back and yelled, "Don't even think about it. It's not my responsibility if you have a bad sense of taste." I then let go of her hand and pushed her forward.

"AAHHH!!" She yelled.

"What happened?" someone said from behind me, and I recognized the voice right away.

Manager, fuck!

I'm screwed!

I turned around and looked down.

"Look at what she's done." The bitch said, pointing to her face.

"Anna?" the manager inquired.

"I didn't want to, Sir." I began, but he stopped me short.

"What in the world did you do? You have no idea how to interact with a consumer."

"Sir, she spoke horrible things to me and-" he cuts me off again.

"That doesn't imply you'll do such a crime."

"I apologize, Sir; I became enraged and-"

"You've been fired."

"What?" In disbelief, I inquired.

"You must have heard me. You've been fired."

"That is not possible, sir. I'm very sorry, but-"

"GET OUT RIGHT NOW." He yelled.

I forewarned you.

I walked inside and gathered all of my belongings. I was ready to leave when I saw the bitch sneering at me. It enraged me even more.

I've been sacked.

Ya! You certainly are.

That's OK.

You are now free to do anything you choose. I'm not going to stop you.

I marched up to her table and tossed her the Cappuccino on the table.

"Have a wonderful day, ma'am!!" I remarked with a grin.

With that, I exited the café. I could hear her yelling and the manager apologizing. I took a stroll to my residence.

Jesus! What should I do now? I'm out of work.

I spotted Nanny seated on the sofa when I got home, clutching a paper. I approached her, knelt in front of her, and removed the form from her grasp.

"What exactly is it, Nanny?"

I went through the newspaper. "What the heck happened?"

"They want to build a hotel on this site, Anna. My kid has spent the rest of my money on gaming. Anna, what are we going to do?"

Her son is an alcoholic and a gambler, so he constantly causes us difficulties. Nanny has lost everything she has due to him, and this home was the last item she had before losing it. I embraced her.

"Nanny, I swear we'll find something out. I'll get us home shortly."

The issue is, how?

I also lost my job.

We have a week to get this place vacant.

I don't see her sobbing. I have to take action.

Chapter 2 One Night Stand

JACKSON, ANNA

Now I just have one hope. I can ask Steve to help me locate work. Yes, he is the only one who can presently assist me. I'm sure you're wondering who Steve is. Well, Steve is my only friend.

"Nanny, I'll be home soon," I replied as I kissed her cheeks.

"What are you doing?" she inquired.

"To meet Steve; maybe he can help me get work."

"Why him? You're incapable of doing it yourself."

"Nanny," I said as I left the house.

Nanny dislikes Steve. She continuously accuses him of being a nasty man. I, on the other hand, usually tell her the opposite.

When I arrived at Steve's residence, I rang the doorbell. He pushed open the door.

"What are you doing here, Anna?" he inquired.

"Umm... Steve, I wanted to speak with you about something," I said.

"All OK... come inside."

I entered the room and sat on the sofa. He sat on the other couch.

"So, what were you hoping to discuss?"

"So, Steve here's the deal: I need a job."

"Job? But you had one, didn't you?"

Then I told him the whole tale. He paused for a moment before smirking.

What's with this guy's smirk?

I'm not feeling well, Anna. I believe you should just leave.

No way! How can I get out? I urgently need employment. I can't simply leave.

Steve then got up and sat down beside me. As in, very near to me. I shifted slightly in my seat. He then put one hand on my leg and began twisting a strand of my hair with the other.

"See, Anna, the point is, I have a job for you, which is ideal."

"But," I queried.

"But you know, everything in this world is not so simple; everything has a price," he smirked again.

"What price, Steve? What are you talking about?"

He then moved closer to me, holding my face in his palm.

"I've wanted you for so long, Anna. The first day I saw you, I wanted to take you right away. But when I talked to you, I saw that you weren't the kind of girl I could easily get. Then I saw your weak point. You never had any friends. So I thought, why not be your friend and take you. Anna, I promise you won't regret it. You'll love it. I'll make your first time special."

My pupils dilated. "What are you crazy? Steve, I've never thought about you in that manner," I said as I rose from the sofa. He, too, rose.

"But I do. You drive me insane, Anna, and it's just one night."

"Stay away from me," he said as he moved closer, and I moved backward until my back touched the wall. "Please stay away from me, Steve," I cried.

"Anna, hurry up."

"STAY AWAY!" I exclaimed.

I was going to flee when he grabbed my hand and pulled me back. My back collided with the solid wall.

"Please, Steve, let me go," I pleaded in front of him.

But he ignored me. He was going to kiss me when I saw the bit of his sun that wasn't shining.

I opened the door and raced out of there as he moaned in agony. From behind me, I heard him yell my name. I continued to run and run.

Why is everything occurring all at once?

First, I was laid off.

Then there was that letter.

And now for Steve.

He was my sole buddy, but he was also a friend.

This world is full of cruel people.

------------------------------

I'm sitting at a club, sipping one drink after another.

I believe I am already inebriated.

"What should I do? I'm at a loss for words; why is my life so messed up?"

I burst out laughing like a fool.

"Hey, are you all right?" the bartender inquired.

Still giggling, I nodded. "I am sooooo fine!"

"Oh, I suppose you're depressed."

"You think," I laughed loudly again. "My life is a freaking shambles."

"Hey, listen, I can assist you to relieve that tension, and the pleasure is just for one night."

"What do you mean, thaaatttt?"

He then grabbed a drink and mixed something into it.

"Take this," he said, handing it to me.

"What exactly is this?"

"Umm... see, you wanted peace and pleasure for one night, and you'll have it. Just walk to that area and enter room number 119, okay? You'll like it, believe me."

"YES!" I shouted. I need to have some fun.

I was going to take the drink when a hand grabbed it from me. When I turned to look at the moron who did that, I saw a guy seated near me with a glass of wine.

"Are you insane? She's inebriated; you can't send her there." I scrutinized his expression.

He wasn't just any ordinary dude. He was a flawless sculpture. His eyes were sea blue, and his lips were slender and pink, with a lovely jawline. Said, this dude was excellent. Any girl's fantasy.

He then looked at me from head to toe and said, "Listen, I'm not sure what your issue is, but this place isn't safe for you; you're intoxicated, so just go home."

"NO! I don't want to go home. I want to go there," I responded, pointing to the location where the bartender had previously indicated.

"No, you're not going there because it's unsafe."

"I'm going there."

"Stop being obstinate. You are a stranger to me, and yet I am warning you; can't you see that there must be a reason for me to do that?"

"But he's also a stranger," I pointed out to the bartender. "To whom should I then listen?"

"Me. You're not going there," he replied firmly.

"Who are you? My Daddy? You are nobody, so why should I listen to you?"

I rose from my stool. I stumbled backward a bit. He immediately grabbed my arm, keeping me from falling.

"You can't even stand correctly, yet you want to have fun, the enjoyment you have no idea about."

"Where do you live? I'll drop you," he asked as he jumped up from his seat.

"Why should I tell you? You're a stranger, and Nanny warned me not to tell anybody." I pouted, crossing my arms. "What if you're a jerk?"

"I'm attempting to assist you, and you're labeling me a nasty guy."

"I'm not sure whether you're trying to assist me or not."

"What the-" he came to a halt and ran his hand through his hair once before whispering something that I heard since my hearing is quite acute, "I can't leave you here with these guys. They'll eat you up."

"What does it mean?" I said, raising my brows.

"Nothing, you're not going with me," he responded angrily.

"How come I should?"

"You will since I am attempting to assist you."

I pouted, creating the expression, 'How would I know that?'

"Don't put me to the test; simply come with me."

'No,' I said, shaking my head.

"All right, don't blame me."

"Blame you. Blame you for what?" I said, perplexed.

"For this," he grinned.

He scooped me up and flung me over his shoulder in seconds.

"Hey, let me down, and what are you doing?" I yelled.

"I warned you, but you ignored me."

I continued stroking his back, but he was so powerful that I damaged my hands a few times.

He then placed me in a vehicle, strapped my seatbelt, sat in the driver's seat, and began driving.

Wait. Is he abducting me?

"HELP! HELP! KIDNAPPER! HE IS KIDNAPPING ME!" I began hammering on the window.

"Will you quiet up? I'm not kidnapping you; now tell me where you live."

I sat back, my arms crossed over my chest. "No."

"Please tell me whether you want to go home."

What if, when we arrive, he kills Nanny and me and steals all we own? Perhaps these automobiles and clothing were taken from someone. I can't put my confidence in him, and I can't let Nanny suffer. I'm not so drunk to not be concerned for Nanny's safety.

"I'm not sure."

"What?" he said, perplexed.

"I'm not sure."

"All OK then."

I sat there, ready to go anywhere he wanted me to go. My head hurt like hell. When the automobile eventually came to a halt, I peeked outside and saw a home. It wasn't just any home; it was a mansion.

"Come," he urged as he got out of the automobile. I remained seated inside without moving. He waited for me outside, but when I didn't appear, he came in and opened the door. "Come out right now."

My head trembled. "No way, you're a kidnapper.

"Looking at the home, you still assume I'm a kidnapper." I took another cautious look around the place.

"No, still no."

"Fine," he murmured, tossing me over his shoulder and carrying me inside.

"HELP! HELP! KIDNAP! KIDNAP! "

But he continued going with me over his shoulder until we came to a halt in front of a door, which he unlocked while I was still screaming, and brought me into a room and lay me on a bed.

"Lay down and sleep here. Don't put me to the test. I don't want everyone to wake up as a result of your yelling, "

"I'm not going to sleep here. I'm ready to go home."

"I offered it many times, but you were preoccupied with your silly notions. So you remain right here."

"NO.NO.NO. HOME. "And why is it so hot here?" I moaned, still ranting. It's pretty hot. "I began fanning myself with my hands, then opened and flung my shrug, and as I unlocked a few buttons on my top, he quickly grabbed my hand and stopped me.

"What exactly are you doing? Stop doing it."

"But it's unbearably hot in here."

"I'll simply turn on the air conditioning. Everything will be OK. "Now sleep," he whispered as he was ready to depart, and I nodded.

I grabbed his hand and yanked him, and he crashed on top of me.

-----------------------------

When the sunshine struck my face, I yawned, still with closed eyelids, savoring this cool and comfortable sensation, and the memories of the previous night rushed through my head. My eyes sprang open, and I sat on the bed.

"Oh my God! Shit! Shit! What have I done, and did we do it after removing him? No way, no how. Why can't I recall anything? "I gripped my head, it hurt so much, and glanced about the room before settling on my shrug, lying on the floor; I looked down at my clothing; they were not my clothes.

"Fuck, how the hell did my shrug get there and these clothes? It's a guy's shirt."

Please assure me that I did not do it.

"Please, no. How can I risk losing my virginity to a stranger? "

I did not do that. No way, no how.

Chapter 3 A JOB

JACKSON, ANNA

I'm back at my home, sitting on my bed, thinking about last night (well, not quite believing, but trying to recall), but nothing comes to mind.

What happened next, and did he change my clothes?

Who the heck instructed you to consume that much alcohol?

My face was buried in my pillow.

"Anna, come quick, baby, the breakfast is ready," Nanny said.

I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen, where I sat on the chair where she brought us breakfast and then looked suspiciously at me.

I glanced down while I ate my supper.

"Will you please tell me?

"I gazed at her when she finally said anything.

I inquired, nervously chuckling, "What are you on about?

"

"You are fully aware. What am I referring to? "

"Umm... No, I do not. "I was attempting to seem innocent.

"Don't even pretend to be innocent, Anna."

"I'm not pretending to be anything."

"Don't tell me that was your first, Steve. I SWAER I WILL KILL YOU, ANNA, "She yelled the last part.

With wide eyes, I grasped my chest. "Stop, Nanny. Are you going to cause me a heart attack or something? "

She then grabbed my arm and looked at me. "Is that Steve?

"She enraged inquired of me.

I gulped hard and shook my head no.

"Then who was it?" she asked, leaving my arm and returning to her food.

"Umm.."

"Tell me whether he was attractive. Young. Tall."

"Will you give up?

"Okay. Okay. But you had a job interview, didn't you? "

"Ya. It will begin at 9 a.m., giving me plenty of time."

"What is your current position?

"

"It's intended for a babysitter. Last night, I received a notice on my phone. So I figured, why not give it a shot? "

"Are you sure about it?

"

"Yes, Nanny. Don't worry; we'll acquire a new home eventually."

She regretfully nodded.

I kissed her on the cheek.

"So, how did you spend your morning? Have you done it again? "

And I assumed she was depressed.

"What's the matter with you?

"

"Don't be afraid to tell me. Again? Oh, my Jesus! How many rounds did you play? Did he utilize defense? He had best do it, or I'll murder him. I don't want Anna to get pregnant so soon."

I looked at her, stunned.

"Whose Nanny is this? And then just quit. I have no recollection of anything. I was inebriated and- "

"You're useless."

"Speaking of this morning, I was terrified. I believed I was the one who seduced him, and now he must think I'm that sort of girl, so I simply donned my clothes and hurried away without telling anybody."

"You escaped?

"Ya. I was terrified. But I did leave him a message of apology and gratitude."

"Why are you so stupid, Anna?"

"You have to realize, Nanny, this was my first experience in a circumstance like this."

She just shook her head.

"Anyway, after I finish eating, I'll go," I remarked as I rose.

I gave her a quick embrace, and she kissed my cheeks and murmured, "Take care."

I agreed by nodding.

"Bye."

I hope everything goes well; my life has been a shambles for the last several days, and I need this job for Nanny, or we'll be homeless.

Finally, I arrived at Parker Enterprises. I glanced around the firm; it was massive. I walked in; I noticed many people waiting for the interview; I sat on one of the seats and waited for my turn. Every female sitting there was preoccupied with her cosmetics, hair, and dress.

I assume it's only me dressed like this; I'm sure someone else will get the job before mine, but everyone came out with a sorrowful look.

Then it was my time, and the woman said, "Miss Jackson, please come inside."

I nodded and stood from my seat, following her inside and looking around the office.

Wow, everything here is incredible.

My gaze was drawn to the individual seated in the chair.

Why does this man seem to be familiar?

Fuck, you're doomed.

Why?

My pupils dilated.

He is...

He is, indeed.

Hell no! Fuck, I'm not taking this job now.

I bit my lower lip in trepidation, and I believe he noticed, as a grin flickered over his lips as I stood there like a statue.

He then turned to the woman next to me and said, "Please, Olivia, postpone all other interviews. I believe I'll need some time for this one."

My already wide-open eyes enlarged even more now.

But why does he want to spend more time with me?

I'm not sure, that smile seems sinister, but you have to agree he's hot.

Put up your hands, pervy.

"Yes, sir," Olivia said and exited after wishing me "Best of luck."

"I appreciate it."

I need it right now.

"Please have a seat Miss..." he smirked again, then glanced down at the file in his hand and said, "Jackson."

I approached him and sat on the chair in front of him.

He said again, "So, Miss Jackson, how are you doing?

"Umm... I-II "I couldn't find the right words.

"You seem uneasy, Miss Jackson, and I don't like it."

I bit my lower lip once again and glanced down.

I'm curious why your lip hasn't begun bleeding yet.

He then rose from his seat and approached me, leaning on the table in front of me.

He was standing so near my seat that it made my breath catch my throat.

I believe I should explain myself to him before he says anything.

That is something I should do.

But don't say too much.

"I apologize. I got intoxicated last night and went insane. I don't usually drink, but I was so upset last night that I went to the club. That was a pretty dumb thing for me to do. Then I referred to you as a kidnapper. I apologize. This morning, I felt so bad that I began freaking out and decided that running away was the only safe option. I apologize and thank you for saving my life last night; otherwise, the bartender would have taken me to that room, and I have no idea what would have occurred. And I'm not who you believe I am when it comes to the room. "My eyes widened as he knelt to my eye level and pulled his face closer to mine.

What is he up to?

"Miss Jackson, what am I thinking?

"I swallowed hard when he stated it in a deep voice.

"T-that I-that I-that I-that I-that I-that I-that I-that I-that I-that I-

"Yes, you are."

"Yes, I am."

"I'm paying attention, Miss Jackson."

"Could you just stop?"

"Stop what you're doing, Miss Jackson."

"Stop getting too near to me."

"But I think you just wanted this last night when you dragged me."

My eyes widened, and I rose from my seat, moving away from him.

"I told you it was because I was inebriated."

He grinned as he looked at me.

"Give me one good reason why I should hire you. Maybe you can get drunk again, and God alone knows what will happen. I can't put my child's life in danger by hiring someone like you "four

Is he the father of his child?

Listening to him made my heartache.

"I swear I'll never do it again. I will take excellent care of your kid, which is unusual. I apologize for making a terrible impression on our first encounter, but I guarantee it will never happen again. Please, I am really interested in the position. You can't judge me based on a single meeting. Mr..., please. "

"Parker. Parker, Liam, "He responded.

"Yes. Parker, Mr., I swear it will never happen again. I'll take excellent care of your youngster."

"Fine. I'm not saying this because of your begging, but because I see something in you. That you can deal with him. So you've been employed "

"Really! Mr. Parker, thank you very much. Thank you very much."

He then got up from the table, straightened his coat, and stood in front of me, hands in his pants pockets.

"There are certain ground rules you must obey, Miss Jackson."

"What are the rules?

"

"Rule number one: you will not touch him. If only I had known about it. The worst will happen to you. Number two: you will not intrude on my private. Number three: there are specific restricted locations in the home where no one is permitted to go; do not go there. Number four: you will not leave home without my permission. Number five: I would not invite any other guys, such as your buddy or partner, to my house "

"Okay... But what about the time of my job?"

"It is from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Except on Sunday, every day."

I agreed by nodding.

"Also, your salary. It will cost $5,000."

My eyes widened as I realized he wasn't kidding.

"Umm. I believe I misheard something. Could you just repeat that? "

"You heard right, Miss Jackson. It costs $5,000 "four

"Don't you think that's excessive?"

"No. I don't think so."

He then returned to his seat and sat in it.

"When do I start working?" I inquired.

"Tomorrow. 9 a.m. sharp. Be on time or prepare to say goodbye to your job."

I agreed by nodding.

"I hope you still remember the place," he smirked.

I agreed by nodding.

Ha! I finally got a job.
