In the early days, the different god, seen in the human flesh, was mighty and did all they can to prevent their subjects from evil.

They never had a powerful one to fight a war for them, not until Zeus gifted a god name Ella a brave and strong daughter called Ariel.

She had the powers in her hands to stop any calamity and possesses the power of wisdom, but still, not all war was she able to conquer.

Ella got pregnant the second time, but many things happened during this period that her lover Aaron, the god of wind, had to stop her from coming outside the walls.

She grew this temper and anger always, ready to unleash her wrath when provoked, no matter how minor the issue is.

This was unlike her; her powers can harm the people because she grew excess capabilities as the baby In her womb started growing, the more he grows, the angrier she gets that Aaron had no option than to chain her with his daughter and his power together why they invited the god of eyes.

The god of eyes checking on her told them what gift they were blessed with, "The child Ella carries in her womb is indeed mighty, none like him, dangerous as well, a god that was once forgotten for his anger has blessed her with a gift, when he is born, he will win all battles, and no one can ever stop him neither will he lose battles. He will make a mistake in the future with this same anger, Ariel will die to save him, but an unknown god that I can't even see his plan will want such powers to go into exile. A bride needs to be chosen by Ariel in her dying breath as a human for him; only her can be his calmness and strength, choose wisely, Ariel, with your wisdom, for if your choice is right, he will return from isolation to fight out the evil god."

It was time for Ella to deliver, terrible lighting took place, all humans had to be indoor for they thought it was about rainy.

She bore a son who looks cute and innocent; Aaron was told to hit his love when the child was taken to see the baby's reaction.

The baby's eyes were reddish in anger, also had lightings, and the sister had to calm him down.

At age 15, Travis grew very angry when he noticed his mother Ella got worried about the attack of their people and how they won't fight, for they know losing the battle will always take place.

He grew furious and attacked the enemies and defeated them all, and Ariel, hearing this was proud of her brother, and they all named him the " War god," and Zeus gifting him a sword. Since then, he fought all wars and always ended up winning.

Some were able to relate his traits of anger to the god of Hermes that was known for range and anger as well, who also got blessed by Zeus.

After the departure of Travis's parents to their immortal world, Ariel was left to direct his brother's part.

Till the faithful day, he killed his sister, and Ariel chooses a bride immediately with her powers as the god of eyes instructed.

She cried for she knows her brother will turn his back and be in isolation for good, but she hopes the bride she chooses will find him quickly before he forgets who he is. She detected a manipulative god in her brother's mind, she would have survived, but she sacrifices her human self in the process to make sure she got rid of the manipulation in his mind with her last strength, for Trevor to be himself.

Trevor was back to himself, seeing his sister lifeless with his sword; he cried in pain; she is the most important thing he got in life.

Many people wanted him out for good, and he decided to leave without turning back or listening to Zeus despite the signals he got.

He kept on walking till he felt he was far away from everyone; he went into isolation and kept on mourning his sister for years.

People gradually forgot about him being their war god; some thought he was dead. Still, few years after his departure, the people were back in slavery and ruled by the manipulative god that broke from prison in exile to take back everything the god has been protecting to be his subjects but desperately waiting in search for the war god chosen bride.

A small village that lived in unity and harmony but had a crazy rule, every lady that turned 22 must get married; if she refuses, she will be forced and be paired with a match.

They believed this is the only way for them to increase rather than maidens to remain single for long.

There was someone called Leah, a pretty damsel, she is as lovely as a flower, even some of the people call her flower.

She is the most beautiful lady in the village, and everyone is gradually waiting for her to turn 22 for them to try their luck in becoming her husband.

She has a close friend who everyone calls drunk for he behaves so stupid, and she wonders how possible it is for Leah to relate with him. His name is Lux.

Leah

"A beautiful day it is, what a beauty it is..." she finished singing, and her friend Lux started clapping saying.

" Amazing, beautiful," he continued clapping when she stopped him.

"Enough, aren't you supposed to be with the men farming now?" she asked him with a frustrated face.

" You know they don't want me around; they think I am abnormal; I decide to help my friend in any of her duty," he said, smiling foolishly.

"OH damn, as if you can even lift a bowl, have this" I gave him some flowers as I continued humming my song, getting more flowers as Lux helps me in holding them, and I know he was getting bored already.

He said to me," Aren't you excited? You are turning 22 soon."

"What's there to be excited that I will be getting married?"

" Are you not excited, Leah," he asked trying to tickle me, and I yelled at him

"I can't just get married to someone I don't know because of some stupid tradition; I am not getting married, and no one will force me until I have found true love and the one who loves me in return, then I can get married," I said to him demonstrating.

"But still, you don't have feelings for anyone in the village, but I heard best friends end up together, you like me right, you can choose me, and I promise to be a good husband except you want them to force you to marry someone you might not even like." He boasted to me.

I wouldn't say I like this village; when I turn 22, if I refuse and they still decide to force me into getting married, I am going to escape and never return until I found someone I truly love.

I feel like crushing Lux now for even thinking I like him and reminding me I turn 22.

I heard mom called my name and Lux said," Let's go; seems the delicious soup your mom prepared is ready."

"Lux, you disgust me; just keep your distance."

Mom called again.

I was shocked when I got told a suitor is here to ask for my hand in marriage.

"Mom, I have not yet turned 22, and you are accepting a suitor already; I am going to give him a piece of my mind now."

"Mom, I have not yet turned 22, and you are accepting a suitor already; I am going to give him a piece of my mind now," I yelled angrily, hitting my feet on the ground, making Lux shiver in fear.

" Come on, don't do this okay, if you don't like him, please tell him, for I know you, " Lux said, trying to stop me. I hit his hands off me out of my anger, and I could pass the offence to him right away.

"Oh really, just like that, if I don't teach him a lesson, others will not learn from it, so it's better", I boasted on what I am about to do, and my mother was looking at me, shaking her head, but I don't mind.

I can't believe this, a suitor coming to me. Has he lost his senses, or did other suitors not inform him of how crazy I can be? I got nicknamed angered flower because of how I can devour suitors with my mouth and hands.

I can't believe the kind of monster that will come here to ask for my hand in marriage, his so getting it.

I went directly to the man that wants to marry me; I was furious at his presence; he looks so ugly that I don't even wish to be friends with someone like him.

" Hi Leah, pretty Leah," he said, and his teeth were just like a rat. I just kept looking at him to allow him to finish his statement; if only he knew what I have in mind, he would have to keep shut and get out.

" I came out of concern for you, my dear, you know how beautiful you are, and you are climbing to the age of marriage already; you know finding suitors is not that easy, so you should be lucky to have come to ask for your hand in marriage. i came here with many jewels and lots of gifts; if you marry me, I promise you I will never allow you to suffer."

Immediately he finished his statement,I carried a bucket of dirty water and quickly poured him dirty water, and Lux came in so surprised at my actions.

"You ugly beast that looks like ancient of days, read my lips, I can never marry someone like you, so get lust, leave my presence right now!" I yelled at him as he left immediately with fear and others who came with him.

" That was harsh dear, really harsh, and you know that right, you know am.." I knew what he was about saying when I yelled at him.

I saw him feeling so sad that I yelled at him; he was about to cry and leave just like a female baby. Damn it.

I wonder what kind of a guy he is anyway, so weak for my liking.

He is not the one that offended me; why I did even yell at him? I should apologise to him and make peace with my best friend who knows me better than anyone else in this village.

"Lux, I am sorry, please don't take any word I said to you in to consideration, you know me when I get vexed very well, please."I said sincerely.

" I don't believe that, you just like yelling at me because I am not tough as you,"he started acting with pride and folding his arms.

"For real, I am so sorry, I never meant it, please, I was just angry that I passed my anger at you,understand that please." I pleaded again.

" Chicken soup."

"Your order has been taken? So can I hug you now to know we are good" I said to him, and he nodded as I hug him and he got excited?

After everything today, I was so tired that I jump on the bed to start sleeping.

I had a terrible dream.

I started running so fast cause I got chased by some individuals I barely know; I kept running and running with no direction, then I got saved by someone.

She is the most beautiful person I have seen since my existence on earth.

" Thank you for saving me, I appreciate,"I said, breathing so fast.

She didn't say a word to me; I was forced to ask her, "Please, what's your name? I have never seen your face in this village," I said and was so curious in expecting an answer from her.

" My name is Ariel, daughter of Ella and Aaron,"she said.

I started laughing so hard that I almost fainted.

"Why are you laughing? What seems to amaze you, Leah?" she asked.

I got scared, she just mentioned my name; I had to ask again if she was serious because the only Ariel I have heard of was a god that sacrifices herself to save her heartless brother.

She stopped me instantly from calling her brother heartless, I don't know what happened, and it's wrong for me to address my husband to be in that manner.

" I don't get that last part you just said, calling your brother my husband that's not possible." I added.

"I choose you, Leah, you are the chosen one for the god of war in isolation, it's your destiny, and with time, you will need to accept your fate and be careful, the manipulative god is very trickish and cunning when you wake up from this dream, don't tell anyone you are the god of war chosen bride if you do, the wall has ears, you will be in danger. You are lucky for the love you will find with him; see you soon chosen one."

Immediately she was done talking and left, I opened my eyes and discovered it was a dream and someone faces sacred me saying, "Bad dream, what did you dream about?".

Running Bride

I looked in the mirror in my castle. I used for Isolation; no one can ever come here except a god related to me.

I have been here for so many years; I hated my look ok the mirror because I looked so unkempt; I never believed this was the handsome god of war looking like a falling god.

I stood up, walking to the centre of the place where I placed my sword gifted to me by Zeus; getting closer to it, I cried the more for my beloved sister died by my sword, which I vowed that I would use to protect my family and my subjects.

I hate myself, and I will never forgive myself; I don't wish to activate my war god; I prefer to continue living this way alone and moan my sister; I will continue grieving for she ended her life to make sure I get back to my true self. I won't respond to the signal I keep getting to return.

I wasn't even eligible to have last words with her before she left to become the full god in the god world.

I know she will never forgive me, so no need for me to call on her and talk with her; I can't see myself doing that.

I fell on my knees, crying so hard as my tears dropped blood for being hurt.

What was I think before I used my dangerous sword on her?

I was getting close to touching the sword when I heard the thunder rumbling, thinking, ready to pull out the sword and become the war god the people always nee? But I stopped and went back to where I planted some flowers, a new lifestyle for me.

The flower is my best companion now; I always talk with it and assume I respond.

Manipulative god

"Tell those slaves to clear out every memory of their weak god, the god of war who left them as a coward he his," I told the head guard directing other guards.

"I need to make an important announcement that might benefit anyone," I said out loud to the head guard, who is already shivering in fear.

"Yes, master, I will get everyone ready and make sure that everyone doesn't harbour anything in their heart related to him," he said, for he knows what I am capable of doing.

I announced that anyone who knows about the whereabouts of the coward war god in isolation or praying for his aid would be killed instantly.

Mostly anyone who finds him and keeps it a secret.

Leah

I remembered in the dream I was not to tell anyone, but why am I seeing Lux in my room at this hour.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

" Have you forgotten? You said I should come so early for we have so much work to do together" I watched him as he continued talking and making a fool of himself as usual.

Sometimes I wonder at his funny behaviour at times.

"I couldn't sleep at night; I kept thinking about us working together, how beautiful and romantic it will be, I just can't even stop picturing it, and even right now I am sitting thinking about it," he said with a smile.

I took my cloth on the bed I am sleeping on and threw them at him to shut it.

" Don't you understand the meaning of privacy hum? When I mean come early, I don't mean you should come to my room and watch me still sleeping without making a sound. Are you that dumb, Lux? Why will mom even let you in?" I said in frustration.

"Maybe because she knows I might marry you someday, and for the record, you look so beautiful like a flower while you sleep, now I see why the nickname flower," she said, raising his eyebrows continuously with a foolish smile attached with it.

" I hate you, Lux, and how did you even know I have a bad dream? Are you now a seer hum?" I asked him, so curious.

"My late mom always tell me that whenever you see someone sleeping and having an expression on his or her face, maybe a bad dream and the person might wake up unhappy, it's good we put a smile on their faces telling them it's just a dream," he said with all seriousness this time around.

I smiled at this; I know for the first time my foolish friend has said something exciting and romantic to me.

" See, I told you, it works, you are already smiling when I have not even calmed you, you should be thanking me, I am here, even my presence is making you smile, truly I am your best, best, best friend." he boasted about our friendship.

I just laughed out, getting up, and said to him while I went out to wash my face.

The word of Ariel kept playing afresh in my memory of me not telling anyone about what she said and how I need to accept my fate as the chosen bride for a heartless god.

But come to think of it, telling Lux is not bad for I don't even believe what I saw in the dream; as foolish as Lux, one thing I like about him is the fact he can keep secrets, and no one else will hear about it expect I decided to tell someone else.

"I just had this weird dream, seeing the god Ariel telling me I am the chosen bride for his brother we have no idea of his existence. It seems I am not only hunted in the physical by everyone in the village to marry them but also in the dream." I said to him.

He started laughing way too hard and said," A human bride for a god, this is so hilarious." he said.

I thought as much before I excuse myself to have my bath at our local customised bathroom outside.

I was bathing when the flash of the truth came; I am turning 22 next week; this is so bad now the people in the village will want me married by all means as their foolish customs demands.

My mom and Lux started singing a birthday song for me when I turned 22; I was happy and sad at the exact moment.

They wished me a fruitful birthday giving me gifts; Lux gave me a necklace along with a beautiful locket, and I promise him never to take it off me no matter what; it stands for our friendship.

Unknown to me, they are preparing a marriage ceremony for me.

I was told I am getting married to an ugly monster in three days to an ugly moron, I don't want this, but Lux kept telling me I should marry him instead of meeting the person I love; we can break from there, but hell no.

I don't love him for a relationship but just friendship; I finally give in to persuasion to marry the old moron.

On the day of the wedding, I changed my mind after putting on the ceremonial attire for it; I excused myself. That was how I started running and running.

Some notice it, and I got chased by the guards.

I ran as fast as my legs can carry me because I don't wish to be caught; if I am hooked, I will be flogged before continuing with the marriage ceremony.

I kept on running then I remembered the dream. It was looking similar to me now; I had the boldness. Maybe Ariel will show up, but it never happened.

I ran till I escape the ray of light to an unknown place, looking abandoned.

I notice I wasn't chased again, and I fell to rest, not knowing where I am.

I notice the thunder never stopped rumbling; looking at my feet, I saw it was bleeding seriously, and I need to treat it but how.
