JUNE'S POINT OF VIEW

The bright spotlight illuminated on my face and dress as I stepped out into the stage, causing the audience to go wild, chanting my name with so much enthusiasm. I slowly smiled as I clutched the microphone tightly in my hand bringing it up to my mouth. I took a step forward and turned to my left to see Maria Li, the lady who made it all possible for me to be up here, she was my inspiration and my everything. I turned back to my audience and the chanting became more louder and enthusiastic.

"June!! June!!" they all yelled which made me smile.

"June!! June!" Now that voice sounded so familiar.

"June!" I heard my little brother's voice and my eyes fluttered open.

"Finally! I've been trying to wake you up for some time now, I kept calling you but you were just smiling in your sleep!" Auggie complained and slowly sat up on my bed.

"What do you want anyways!" I scoffed.

"Grandma told me to come wake you up, it's staturday" Auggie announced and my eyes almost fell out of my face.

"Oh no!" I gasped, sprung out of my bed and headed straight to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth in a haste and took my bath.

Dressed in my almost everyday outfit of a black t-shirt and Jean shorts, I tied my hair In ponytail. Grabbed the newspaper stocked at the corner of the living room and hurried outside to grab my bicycle.

I made it down the flight of thousands of stairs with my bicycle and rode off immediately I stepped on the road.

Riding around the quiet neighborhood and delivering newspapers to most of the houses was the little Job, my grandma insisted I do, I've been doing it for three years now and the money I earn for that day will be enough for Auggie and I school's weekly allowance. It's a real struggle but it's worth it!

My mother died a day after Auggie was born and my father died In a car accident a month after my mother died, and I was just nine years old at that time, it was a real struggle for me, I had to start living with my grandma with Auggie and honestly my grandma tried her best, she used all her life Savings to bring Auggie and I up in the best way. And now we're currently living by hand to mouth. Things are so difficult for us right now that we live in a rooftop house, an extra small house at the top of a building where we get to live for free because my grandma was friends with the owner of the house. She's just being considerate trying to let us live there for free, knowing what we're going through.

As I rode pass different houses, my mouth wouldn't quiet down as it sang 'soaring high' by Maria Li.

Just thinking about her I could cry already.

Maria Li, A twenty seven year old singer and dancer, she's one of the most popular celebrities here in Manhline city, can I just say she's a goddess because she's so perfect in different aspect. Aside from her singing and dancing being exceptionally good. She's also a model wanted by all, she has the perfect body and I can proudly yell that I am a very big fan of hers.

She works with DH entertainment, one of the biggest music industry ever, it has many subsidiaries In other countries but its headquarters remains in Mahnline.

I've been listening to Maria Li's music since forever and I'm her biggest fan.

And that's why the dream of being a celebrity like Maria Li, existed in me. I didn't know if I wanted to become a celebrity to be able to meet her. Or become a celebrity for me.

But then it was just a dream that wasn't meant to come true.

I finally got home after the delivery and parked my bicycle at a corner in front of the house.

Opening the living room door my nose already perceived a great smell of seaweed salad and when I got in my grandma and Auggie had already start to eat, should I say brunch.

"You're back" Auggie said happily and I smiled sitting down beside him.

Gosh my grandma is such a great cook. I sighed to myself taking a spoonful of the food in front of my eyes.

"June." My grandma suddenly called and I looked up at her.

"I'll be going to work soon" she said and I nod, she goes to work every day except Sundays.

At least the little she earns monthly helps a lot around the house

"And after today, I don't think I can keep up" my grandma said and I looked up at her

"why?" I asked calmly.

"look at me June, I'm getting older, I managed to get this job beside my age but I don't think I can keep up, I'm getting weaker everyday" she breathed out.

"Then how are we going to--

"I've been thinking" she cut me off.

"I've been thinking of renting out that extra room" she continued pointing to the closed door behind her.

"what?!" I dropped my spoon.

"But grandma, that's crazy, who would want to rent it out and we would be living with a complete stranger" I said and she sighed.

"It's so much better dear, instead of me working, the tenant just has to pay monthly" My grandma sighed.

"But who would want to live in a cramped place like this?" I scoffed.

"Anyone" My grandma smiled.

"Well I hope your plan works!" I said not happy with the idea.

"It's going to work, Just help me clean the whole house and of course the empty room, and I assure we'll have a tenant in a week! And I won't have to work anymore, have some sympathy for your grandma." My grandma gave a grin and I looked away.

It's not I don't pity her working at such a young age. But it'll be really weird having an occupant here.

After brunch, my grandma left for her last day of work leaving just Auggie and I.

After doing the dishes, I decided to clean the whole house like grandma had insisted, and Auggie decided to help out too.

We both sang all Maria Li's songs while tidying up the whole house, my obsession over Maria Li's songs and her music videos caused my brother to know so much.

After tyding up the whole house, Auggie and I went back to our room.

We've both shared a room since he was a kid, for he hates sleeping alone.

Auggie got on his bed and so did I, I grabbed my phone from under my pillow and was about to get some Maria Li time when Auggie called my name.

I turned to him. "yeah?"

"Grandma said some tenants will be moving in the extra room, do you think I'll get to see someone my age?" Auggie asked, his curious eyes waiting for an answer.

I sighed. "August!" I called him by his full name, I didn't know what my parents were thinking when they gave us names according to our birth months.

"Someone around your age can't possibly be a tenant here! Even a family can't move in here, it's cramped" I expound.

"Oh I understand" He nodded sadly.

"What do you mean someone around your age anyways, you have me, you can talk to me whenever you want!" I smiled.

"I know, but you won't play with me, you're always with your phone." He muttered.

"What? We-ll... I

I clearly didn't know what to say.

Yeah well life sucks, Just like every other home does, owing a TV, we don't have one here, if we had one, Auggie would have been distracted by one of those cartoons, instead of looking for someone around his age or me to play with.

And that's why he likes going to school, so he could escape this boring cage and talk to his friends.

"I'm sorry! Auggie!" I said to my baby brother.

"It's okay!" He gave a smile before walking out of the room.

I guess he just indirectly told me that I am the worst big sister ever. I turned to my phone which I've been using for almost two years now, I got it on my fifteenth birthday from my grandma. And she saved up so much just to get a phone for me. She just wants us to live a happy life.

And I just hope we do get financially stable. Lost In so many thoughts, I didn't know when I drifted off to sleep.!

My eyes fluttered open when I felt someone moving my arm.

"Auggie?" I said, sitting up giving a yawn.

"Grandma's home" Auggie stated happily...

I grabbed my phone to look at the time before walking out to the living room.

"June" my grandma had called cheerfully I wondered if anything was wrong.

Her hands were occupied with groceries and I walked up to her to help her.

"I got my last pay for my last day!" My grandma smiled.

"Well it's obvious!" I smiled back gesturing my hand around the groceries.

"And I also have great news!" My grandma added.

"What news" I threw her a curious look.

"So at work, I told my coworkers about me putting my home up for a rent and surprisingly my boss said a friend of hers, who is a real estate agent, was complaining about a boy she introduced to an amazing house talked bad about the house saying he doesn't want any extravagant house and would prefer to live in a less lavish place, and I was like, this is the perfect place, so at work my boss contacted the agent and wr manage to get through to the boy, and describing the place to him, a agreed to take the place and will be moving in as soon as possible. Isn't this amazing!" my Grandmother let's out a happy laugh.

A new occupant! A boy!

I was starting to get creeped out. But I didn't want to ruin how excited my grandma looked.

I prepared dinner that night and it felt more like a feast, because my grandma wanted us to eat that way that evening and it was the best dinner ever.

I did the dishes before tiring back to my room and falling asleep again.

The next day came and passed like a wind. With me delivering news paper and after that I split the money I earned into two and kept Auggie's part in the drawer.

I just spent half of the day with my phone and the other half sleeping.

The day flew by so fast that when I woke up it was already one in the morning.

It was Monday. Not one of my very best school days though

I got up from my bed and head straight to the bathroom. I took my bathe and woke Auggie up too, he had his bathe and after changing into my school uniform, I helped him with his and brushed his hair, he's a smart kid and he's in the fourth grade so he has to look nice.

I gave him money for lunch and we both head to school.

Auggie and I both attend kindred public highschool, it was the city's first public school and still have the most eccentric uniform.

I got into the full and noisy class and dropped my bag down on my desk before sitting down.

"June!" some fake huge voice called my name and I smiled rolling my eyes, I know who it is.

"Annie, I know it's you" I said and she laughed.

"looks like I've done that joke so many times you've gotten used to it" Annie laughed and I looked at her.

"Was it supposed to be a joke?" I asked and she playfully glared at me while I laughed.

I brought out my book where I wrote Maria Li' songs lyrics and I start to read them until Annie snitched the book from me.

"ugh!" she rolled her eyes "You and that old lady Maria Li I don't get why you like her, her songs her good but she's boring" Annie said and I rolled my eyes.

"You don't know any thing about her so stop saying she's boring" I defended, snatching the book from her.

"She has really messed you up and now you're defending her instead of your best friend." she said and I arched my eyebrows at her.

"And besides no one's talking about Maria Li ever since Daniel stole Manhline's spotlight" Annie said.

"You mean that rookie who made a guest appearance in Maria Li's video, "dance"?" I asked and she nods.

"Well he's no more a rookie June, but A Star brightening every one's day" Annie smiled. Before I could utter a word, the class' big mouth or should I say Gossip girl Amy, quickly rushed inside the class.

Everyone know she's always bringing the class news and immediately everyone turned to her.

"Guys!" she said breathlessly

"I just heard big news" she continued

"Daniel Anderson is coming back here to Mahnline city and he'll be holding up a fan signing event in the City Hall after his concert here on Friday" Amy said finally and from every corner of the class you could hear screamings including Annie's.

What in the world!

And immediately everyone start to look it up on the internet.

"Did you hear that, our Daniel is coming back" Annie said holding my hand.

"I'm sorry 'our' Daniel?" I scoffed and she nods.

"I'm sorry our Daniel?" I scoffed and Annie nods.

"you don't have to pretend you don't like him June, Daniel Anderson is the most sexiest, prettiest, youngest and talented artist I've ever known, even though he made his debut as a singer and dancer four months ago, he became popular within a week and within a month other countries started to notice him and now he's a world wide super star which makes him the world most youngest, singer, dancer and model he's only twenty years old. And the best thing is he grew up here in Mahnline city which makes all of us a family and now he's coming back this week and thinking about that is making me feel happy at the same time nervous, I'm going to see my Daniel again, keep drowning your world in that Maria Li's song and you'll soon dig Your own grave, follow up with Daniel and you'll see him every night in your dreams" she said batting her lashes dramatically

"Sorry but I don't need any Daniel hangerson in my life right now, I'm good with Maria Li" I said with a slight shrug.

"maybe you'll change your mind after seeing this!" Annie said and brought out her phone.

"These are his latest and trendiest pictures of twenty twenty" she continued tapping her gallery.

She showed me a bunch of Daniel pictures the one he had a shirt on and the one he doesn't, he's got this killer look and he's very handsome I must admit but I don't stan artist because of their looks, I haven't even heard his songs before.

"Oh and also Daniel and Maria Li works in the same industry" Annie said and I sighed "Lo mok Annie just take your Daniel away from me." I tell her shoving her phone from my face and she smiled..

"He was so handsome right? You couldn't bare it" she laughed and I rolled my eyes. "Get lost" I shook my head.

"look here June, Maria Li is yesterday's news and Daniel is today, tomorrow and forever's news, even if he dies, he'll be like our very own Michael Jackson,"

Annie said and I almost smacked her across the face, how could she say my Maria Li is old news because of that crazy Daniel hangerson or whatever his name is.

School was okay that day, it was my usual boring school but still it was okay, well okay to everyone not to me, everyone kept talking about this so called Daniel Anderson and his amazing songs and face, well I know Daniel as a celebrity but I didn't know he was that popular, I guess I must have been so caught up in Maria Li's life I notice nobody.

But I don't care Maria Li gave me a dream, a dream that is always setting me on fire and I'm just hoping I can one day watch me become the person I want to be.

I personally think if we were financially stable, things would have been less harder, I could have so many dreams if I wanted to.

But what can I do, I can just dream till I grow old and die.

That day school was over and I went over to Auggie's school to pick him up and we both head home, climbing the thousands of stairs to our rooftop house was the hardest thing ever! Auggie always complain about his legs getting weaker the more we climbed and so I have to give him a piggy back ride, which makes me even more tired.

Well I'm just trying to be the best sister I am.

We got to the front of our small house at the top of the building and I dropped Auggie down.

I was covered in sweats and was completely breathless.

"are you okay?" Auggie asked innocently.

"I am, you just drained the life out of me, since when did you become so heavy" I asked with a laugh.

"I'm sorry" he said guiltily.

"It's okay, let's head inside" I said and he smiled showing his complete white teeth.

I opened the door and Auggie walked in before me but we both Walked into the living room together and I quickly covered Auggie's eyes.

There was a boy in the living room about my age or older, he was half naked only a towel around his waist and water was dripping from his hair to his body and he was drying his face with another towel so he didn't notice us until I screamed.

The guy flinched his eyes widen seeing me and Auggie

My grandma rushed out of her room immediately she heard my voice.

"Grandma." I said breathlessly.

"June are you okay?" she asked.

"There's a guy half naked in our living room and you're asking me if I'm okay?!?" I breathed out.

"Hey there's a towel around my waist don't be so dramatic, and who are you?" the boy asked and my brows raised on its own.

"excuse me?" I glared at him.

"June.. He's.. He's the new tenant" my grandma said and my jaw dropped.

"What?" I turned to her, dropping my hand from Auggie's eyes.

"And Erick, this is my granddaughter and grandson, June and August! You didn't let me talk about them earlier" my grandma smiled.

"June and August!" The Erick guy repeated.

"Yes and I'll be right back!" my grandma smiled taking my hand and pulled me towards her room, sending Auggie to our room to go take off his school uniform.

I closed the door to my grandma's room and turned to her.

"What do you mean tenant" I asked and she sighed.

"What do you mean by that? he's the person who rented out the place" my grandma said.

"Him ? I thought you said the person who wanted to rent out the place will inspect the place today first before living here but how come he's living here already?" I asked dropping my school bag.

"He said he's been looking for a place to stay for the past few weeks and seeing this place he just realised how perfect it is for him, and he moved in immediately and he'll be staying for a few months and the money he paid was more than the pay, He is a rich kid, I don't know but this is good for us, and also for us to eat healthily" my grandma smiled.

"He's paid everything already?" I asked, my eyes widen.

"Yeah like I said, he seemed like a rich kid" my grandma blurted.

"really? Why would a rich kid want to live in such a claustrophic place."

"who knows everyone has their choices, preferences and reasons" my grandma stated and I shrugged.

"So we're going to be living with a stranger for a while" I said dryly and grandma sighed.

"look June, I know you're against this but it's the only suitable way I can think of and Eric is a really nice person so just treat him like family" my grandma explained and I rolled my eyes.

"Family! sure whatever" I said grabbing my bag almost walking out but my grandma stopped me

"And no one knows we rented out our place so if anyone' asks you who he is, just say he's your cousin got it?"

"yeah sure grandma" I said sarcastically before walking out.

The living room was empty when I walked in and I sighed and walked into my room.

Auggie was on my bed having difficulties in removing his shoes, seriously this kid is stressing me out, he's nine.!

I walked up to him, bent down and helped him out.

"Go take a shower in grandma's room, I'm taking one here" I tell him and he immediately took his heels and left for grandma's room.

I took a shower and wore something comfotable, I walked out of my room and saw a little white dog running around in the living room.

"what the.." I muttered to myself.

"Ella... Come back here" Erick our new tenant or should I say 'cousin' said running out of his room to catch the dog. And the dog suddenly ran up to me and curled up on my feet.

"Ella..." Erick called softly when he saw the dog on my feet.

"sorry for that, she just really like this place and she likes you too" Eric said picking up his dog.

Wow! I was angry about a new tenant and now he has a dog, what a day!

"Do you know I hate dogs" I lied

"oh.. I don't, but I'll be sure to keep Ella out of your sight" he said and took a step back.

"good" I muttered .

"So you're June right and your brother is August right?" he asked and I nod.

"But we call him Auggie so stick with that" I said and he nods with a smile.

He raised his pet to his face and start to sweet talk to it.

"who's a good girl, yes you are. Who's a good girl" he kept repeating till he got into his room and his dog barking in return.

I was bored and angry at the same time.

"Auggie!!" I yelled and before I knew it, he came out of my grandma's room.

"yeah?" he said lowly.

"Go get your home work" I said and he immediately stormed into our room while I plopped down on the floor and moved the small living room table beside me.

Auggie came out with his text books and a pencil and he sat down beside me.

"what's your homework today?" I asked flipping the pages of his book, since I don't have any homework I better help him with his.

"It's on multiplication but I can do it myself" Auggie said and I smiled.

"oh really?" I raised my brows at him and he nods happily and turned to his text book, I watched him write his assignment happily and he got everything right.

"smart boy" I smiled and pat his head.

I heard a door open and Erick suddenly walked up to us and sat opposite Auggie and I on the floor.

"so what are you guys doing?" he asked cheerfully, burying his fingers into his hair.

"we're doing nothing that concerns you" I said and bat my lashes at him.

"Right! Your grandma mentioned your sassy attitude" he muttered to himself and I turned to him "excuse me?".

"look, I came to live here to be independent, free and happy, so if you have anything against me please just get rid of it" he smiled making me roll my eyes.

"you must be Auggie right?" Erick turned to Auggie and Auggie raised his head up with a smile before nodding.

"are you Erick?" Auggie asked calmly.

"Sure hell I am, you're so cute, you and your sister are total opposite" he said and whispered the last part to Auggie but I heard it clearly..

"Grandma said you'll be living with us for a while and she said you have a puppy" Auggie said, his eyes filled with excitement and I haven't seen him look like that for a while.

"Her name's Ella and she's a lady, she's quite older than you and don't underestimate her petite body, she bites pretty hard, she also likes cute guys so you're safe. Wanna see her?" Erick asked and Auggie nodded happily standing up.

"Auggie!! Your homework!" I half yelled.

"oh the killjoys" Erick murmured

"But I'm done with it" Auggie said sadly..

"let me see" I said and he passed the text book to me. I checked his work and he did pretty good in everything.

"okay, you can go" I said coldly and he happily went to Erick and they both entered his room .

This kid gets along with strangers too well, I have to warn him.

My grandma later came out saying we're having fried chicken and rice for dinner tonight.

"Why are we having that, can't we have something simple for dinner, we're not having a party or anything" I said and she smiled.

"You asks questions too much, just go prepare it and I'll come help" my grandma laughed and I sighed and walked straight to the kitchen.

I was deep frying the chicken when my grandma walked into the kitchen, she took over and told me to go set the table in the living room. The rice was already cooked and after frying the chicken I set the food and plates on the table Auggie did his assignment, it's the only table we have. And it's kind of embarrassing we have no couch too, just a plastic chair at a corner in the living room.

Auggie came running in the living room and helped me arrange the plates and cups, I set three plates spoons and cups but my grandma told me to add one more and I don't know why, it's just me, her and Auggie. It's always been the three of us.

The three of us sat down around the table, silently blessed our food and was about to eat but my grandma's voice made me stop.

"June!" she said she said sternly.

"huh!?!!" I looked up at her.

"aren't you forgetting one thing?" she said .. "what?" I asked.

"Erick!" she said.

"For crying out loud grandma what does he have with our dinner" I whined and she glared at me..

"Don't be selfish and go get him" my grandma said and I huffed and got on my feet, I walked to his room door and knocked. I knocked again but no reply and I turned to my grandma to see her looking at me.

"See he's not answering" I said

"try again" she said and I sighed and knocked on his door angrily, "Hey Erick open this door!" I yelled and turned to Auggie.

"what was he doing when you left him and his dog?" I asked.

"He was just busy with his phone" Auggie replied and I sighed and was about knocking for the last time but the door open and he caught my hand that almost smashed his face.

"oh hey June" he smiled, his pale blonde hair covering his face and he moved it back.

"grandma said you'll be joining us for dinner" I said dryly before walking away and he happily trailed behind me to the table, and his lady dog following him.

We both sat around the small table and ate dinner quietly.

"Wow grandma, this is the best food I've tasted in my nineteen years of living" he said dramatically and my grandma smiled.

"I'm glad you're enjoying it" my grandma beamed.

As I cleaned the table after dinner Erick offered to help me but I declined his help.

He should let the 'sassy' girl do it on her own.

As I did the dishes Ella kept following me with her tail wagging happily behind her, and I didn't understand why she kept following me though, she's just like her owner.

It was nighttime and I had nothing to do, my grandma was fast in her room and Auggie had fallen asleep too in our room.

I was still awake and was in the living room with Erick, who was playing with his dog at the corner of the room. I had earphones plugged in my ears listening to Maria Li's song and was getting really uncomfortable from Erick who kept glancing at me occasionally.

I got up from where I was seated and walked out of the house, with Erick's eyes still on me.

Those eyes!

I got outside the house and night's fresh air welcomed me and causing me to breathe in lightly.

I sat on a short and wide table we have outside our small house, a table big enough for eight people to lie on, well basically my grandma just dries things on it, like sesame seeds and other food stuff but most of the time Auggie and I lay there to watch the stars when we have nothing to do.

I sat on the table and then laid on it facing the sky with my hand beneath my head.

With Maria Li's song circulating around my head from the earphones, I sang along.

"One day you will remember me,one day you will laugh at the memories,one day you will try to find me. But One Day I wont be waiting for what you have to give".

I sang deeply feeling myself in the music until someone tapped my shoulder lightly and I had to pull the earphones out of my ear.

"What?" I snapped seeing Erick.

"nothing you've got a nice voice, maybe you should be the second Maria Li" He smirked and my head beamed at the compliment, I didn't care if he meant it or if he was mocking me, Because that is like the best compliment I'd like to recieve more in life.

"you know Maria Li?" I asked and he nods.

"you were singing her song right?" he said.

"Well it's none of your business" I quickly said trying not to get too friendly with him.

"You guys have a beautiful place, I can see so many things from up here" he said standing on the table and looking at the houses below.

"What are you doing?" I asked, "get down from here".

He completely ignored my words.

"I see why you chose to stay outside, the freezing breeze is freezing but it gives your soul a warm feeling" he smiled staring at the houses again before sitting down beside me and I sat up.

"look Erick, you can get close too with Auggie, or my grandma but not to me" I yelled and he sighed.

"Why do you hate me so much" Erick sighed shutting his eyes.!

"Why would I hate you I don't even know you" I scoffed.

"Yeah exactly, but you keeping giving me a bad attitude and you don't like me being here."

"Correct!"

"Why?" he asked.

"because you're annoying and we don't need another person in our lives right now." I snarled.

"But I'm not trying to get into your lives... I just needed a place to stay and I found here and I'm just trying to be friendly with everyone" he explained.

"well I don't want your---

"Mom?!" I heard Auggie's sleepy voice behind me and I turned.

"Auggie, why aren't you in bed?" I asked.

"I couldn't sleep cause you weren't there" he said as he walked closer to me, got on the table and laid beside me placing his head on my thighs.

"Mom?? No wonder you two look so alike, did you give birth to him?" Erick gasped dramatically.

"He's nine and I'm seventeen, how do you expect that to happen" I rolled my eyes.

"Good, just siblings, why does he call you mom then? Where are your real parents?" he asked and I sighed angrily and carried sleeping Auggie.

"You ask too many questions" I said before heading inside...

I placed Auggie on our bed and laid beside him, lost in thoughts I drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Auggie and I got prepared for school and after eating a bowl of cornflakes together, we were on our way, as we walked down the stairs Erick came out of the house and with a smile on his face, he waved to us...

"bye" he yelled.

"let's go Auggie" I said to Auggie preventing him from waving back to Erick.

"Hey I wasn't talking to you, but Auggie okay?!!" Erick yelled before walking back inside, I rolled my eyes and Auggie and I hurried down the stairs.

We both walked to school and after dropping Auggie in his school. I made a turn and walked into to mine.

I got to our overpopulated class and went to my seat beside Annie who was seriously busy with her phone that she didn't hear the "hi" I said to her.

i ignored her and brought down my backpack.

Strangely half of the class were busy with their phone, mostly the girls, while the boys were at the back of the class playing some stupid game that I can't explain.

"ahhhh!!!!!!" Annie suddenly screamed, causing me to flinch.

"Annie are you okay?" I asked feeling a little worried.

But she ignored my question and stood up.

"Guys, he's here, he just landed and some paparazzi had already taken pictures of him at the airport and spreading it on the internet" Annie said and everyone rushed towards her and she showed them pictures of the person she was talking about.

"oh.. He's so cute... "he's adorable.. "look at his cute smile"...."oh I wish I could skip school and go to the airport... "yeah me too"..

I heard those kind of murmurs behind me and I know they were talking about the so called Daniel hangerson.

After looking at the photos of Daniel, the girls went back to their seats and Annie sat down beside me finally noticing me.

"Oh, hey you're here" she smiled.

"I've been here ages ago but you were too busy with your Daniel hangerson" I said and she gasped.

"Don't ruin his glamorous name, it's Daniel Anderson okay?!" she said and I rolled my eyes.

"whatever".

"so are you going to his concert on Friday?" she asked.

"No!" I said plainly and she moved closer to me.

"Hey let me give you the juiciest news ever" Annie smiled and moved even closer to me.

And with her voice down, she started.

"So DH entertainment, the best industry of all, made it possible for broke fans like us to attend Daniel's concert. About 7pm last night they held this online game where you get to win a ticket to Daniel's concert. And you wouldn't believe it, If I told you, I won two!" Annie squealed excitedly.

"Did you just say you won tickets to Daniel's concert" A girl behind us screamed and everyone turned to Annie.

"What? No I was just joking, you know when you joke about something it comes true" Annie said and gave a nervous laugh.

"Oh!" the girl breathed out and everyone turned to their businesses.

"Phew! That was close" Annie gave a sigh of relief, stood up and dragged me outside the class.

"Okay June, I had to lie to everyone, I actually won tickets two to Daniel's concert and I'd really like it if you go with me please?" she said batting her lashes at me.

"I'm sorry Annie I can't... I have things to do that Friday" I said and she pouted.

Let me calculate, If I go to the concert, I'll stay out late and sleep late which means I'll wake up late on Saturday morning and miss the newspaper delivery.

Yeah my grandma will roast me alive.

"Sorry, I can't" I said again about walking in the class but she held me.

"please June! I'll do all your homework for a week and I'll never mock you about Maria Li ever again" she said and I sighed.

"Why do you want me to be go so bad?" I asked folding my arms.

"So you'll see the beauty Daniel has inside, and who wouldn't want to go to a concert with their best friend" Annie grinned.

"Well ll thanks but I can already see his inside beauty from your wallpaper" I said and she sighed.

"fine! But I'll surprise you on friday" Annie gave a sly grin before walking behind the teacher who suddenly walked in our class.

Annie and I had lunch in the classroom instead of the cafeteria with three other girls.

Julia, phoebe and Joy who were also big fans of the nation's Daniel Anderson. And before I knew it they started to talk about Daniel and starts to sing his song too .

The song was great the way they sang it and I wished I knew it, I've never listened to any of Daniel Anderson's song but this one will be my favorite if I happen listen to all of his songs.

"what's the title of the song?" I asked, my curiosity burning.

"Why do you suddenly care about our Daniel's beautiful song" Annie huffed dramatically.

"It's called 'just love me' it's his second song after his debut song, "second chance" Phoebe said and I smiled at her.

"Thank you phoebe! For being simple!" I rolled my eyes at Annie.

"Oh second chance is my favorite the way his voice synchronized with the beat and the lyrics made it feel like he was really in love and heartbroken" Joy squealed touching her cheeks.

"But what if he really dated and got his heart broken before being a singer?" Annie suggested.

"But on the internet it was said, he's never dated before" Joy added implied.

"As much as I love Daniel, don't believe anything you see on the internet" Julia shook her head.

"But are any of you going to his concert?" Joy asked.

"Yep" they all answered among themselves and giggled.

"But just imagine guys, he'll be up there on stage, singing and I'll be down there screaming out his name and slowly his glamorous eyes will look down at me and then his hand will reach for mine and he'll grab it, he'll pull me up the stage and then.... Slowly He'll.. He'll kiss me" Annie said with a smile and Julia rolled her eyes, while the two other girls lets out a groan.

"You dream too much" Julia scoffed.

"I'm just saying, you don't have to pretend you're not jealous, Daniel and I will make a perfect couple and together our couple's name will be Da-Annie" Annie said smiling after her day dreams...

"No together he and I will be Dabie" phoebe said. And we all laughed. I laughed too cause it didn't make sense and joy's was the worst, she smiled before saying

"Daniel and I will be just Doy, short and simple!" joy said and we all burst out into hysterical laughters.

"That's crazy, just leave it for the best Da-lia" Julia smiled and Annie huffed cause it made a beautiful name "Dalia".

Oh they're such geeks. Simping over Daniel Anderson like he's a god.

school was over that day and I went over to the elementary school to pick Auggie and we both went home..

Auggie and I got home and we met Erick in the living room with Ella, I almost forgot, we have a new family member.

"You guys are back" Erick smiled.

"Ella!" Auggie called happily seeing running up to the dog who wagged her tail seeing us.

"Auggie go take off your uniform before playing with that canine now!" I said strictly and Auggie pat Ella's head before walking inside our room.

"How was school?" Erick asked.

"it's was pathetically none of your business" I gave a forced smile.

"June, learn to be polite" My grandma said coming out of her room.

"But, I am polite" I said with my head high.

"You know what I'm talking about" my grandma spat glancing back and forth between Erick and I.

I sighed and turned to him

"school was great today, thanks for asking Erick!" I said loudly with adding a lot of stress on his name.

"satisfied?" I smiled at my grandma.

"Not yet" she shook her before walking away.

"I love your grandma, she has a good sense of humour, unlike some people I know" Erick smiled and I rolled my eyes at him before walking into my room..

Auggie seemed to have taken his bath in a short amount of time and has worn his outfits in haste before leaving the room.

I heard him call Ella, Erick's dog and I smiled and shook my head negatively, so he couldn't wait to play with her.

I stripped my uniform off my body and head towards the bathroom.

After taking a bath I wore a big sweater and a Jean short before getting on my bed, I placed my phone beside my pillow and start to play one of Maria Li's song, "it had to be you"

lip syncing the song quietly I fell asleep, I must have been so tired.

I suddenly saw myself under a stage light and on a stage, I looked forward and saw thousands of people staring at me and chanting my name, they were so many and each of them holding up light sticks and waving it in the air.

And then I saw Maria Li in front of me and she gave me her glorious smile and then she raised up a glittering microphone to her mouth and starts to sing..

"One day you will remember me, one day you will laugh at the memories ,one day you will try to find me..."

She stopped singing and gestured her hand forward for me to continue with the song and I smiled and raised my microphone to my mouth and was about to sing but I couldn't find my voice.

"bu--t o-ne..." tried to sing but my voice shook and made a cracking sound, causing the whole audience to laugh.
