" Wendy!.. Wendy!! Can you turn off that music now!!! " Ana yelled as she stood akimbo watching Wendy who was lost in the music

Dancing different types of crazy steps. Ana palmed her face and signed

She walked over to Tv stand and switched the music off and turned to Wendy who looked at her with a horrifying face.

Ana bursted out laughing at Wendy's funny face.

" Why the hell did you off that music dumbass! "Wendy yelled loudly opening her arms questionly

She spank her forehead and felt really angry for Ana being a kill joy.

She has spent most days looking for job but no to avail

And now she's trying to dance away her pains of not looking for a job

" Wendy how can you be dancing huh ?! Take a look at the time " Ana said pointing at the wall clock in the living room.

Wendy's eyes drift off to the clock. She smirked confusedly

" so? what's wrong with the clock. look Ana I'm not gonna let you free this time for being a kill joy. I'm so gonna strangled you right now GEORGE ANA!! " Wendy yelled harshly pointing at Ana

who stood staring at wendy as if she's gone nut

" bu..but We..Wendy you forgot to.. to..." Ana tried saying something

But Wendy didn't let Ana finish her statement before dashing towards her

They kept running around the sitting room like little childrens

" Wait Wendy.. you've got to lis....." but Wendy won't stop she kept chasing Ana around trying to catch her.

" Wendy you've got to listen to me now okay. you...you've got to school and pi...pick Nicholas "

Wendy frozed instantly on hearing Nicholas. Her 5 years old son.

gosh how could I have forgotten! she yelled in her head as she dashed upstairs to her room to pick her purse

She rushed downstairs

" Wendy you need to......" Ana wanted to say something

But Wendy didn't wait to listen as she already left the house in a hurry towards her son school.

The only person who means the whole world to her.

She's an orphan. She could remember vividly well when her parents and siblings were killed by some unknown gun men right in front of her.

But she was spared alive to withess the horror that happened that day in her home.

After the burial of her parents. She went to a nearby club and saw a huge party was going on.

She got drunk and had a one night stand with an unknown guy which lead to her early pregnancy

Even if she couldn't remember the man vividly well. Even when she doesn't have much income to even carter for herself.

She couldn't abort the baby and become a murderer.

she kept the little being alive and with the help of her best friend Ana who's also a orphan like her. They were able to help each other and make ends meet

And she's very thankful to God for giving her such a lovely friend who's more like blood sister

Wendy always act like the eldest but Ana always behaved more matured than her

And Ana is a chef in Mr Bigg's eatery. She's really a good cook.

Wendy signed in deep thoughts as the cab drove in speed to the school.

KINDER HIGH SCHOOL

She dropped at the school gate and payed the cab driver who surprisingly told her to keep the money.

She was grateful and and thanked the man for his kindness. They exchanged numbers before he left.

Walking into the school compound. She tried searching for Nicholas but couldn't find him

Where could he be ?! she panicked as she searched around only to find him at the back of the class weeping

Wendy ( pov )

I rushed him to worried of what might be wrong

" Nicholas baby what's wrong?! " I asked checking his body for any burises or something

I noticed him stylishly trying to clean his tears.

"nothing mummy. I'm..I'm.. fine.. nothing is wrong " he replied cleaning his eyes

I knew he was lying cause he also tried pretending as if something got into his eyes

I squatted in front of him as I held his arms rubbing it softly

" tell me Nicholas.. don't lie to mummy... What's wrong ?" I asked staring at his eyes as he looked away and fresh tears fell down on his face

I stood up as I looked at him scared of what might be wrong

I have known my son to be a strong boy what could have caused this.

And he's too calm to look for troubles

I don't know what it might be and I wish he tells me

"Mummy.... " he called slowly as I nod

I placed my hands on his cheeks urging him to continue.

" Mummy... I was told not to come to school as from next week... I was almost chased out of class today if not the principal who gave me the grace of today..." he sniffed as I wiped his tears away

"........ Mummy they have been giving me papers to give to you. It contains that you should come and pay my school fees. I didn't give you cause I don't want to be a burden to you an...and....." He couldn't finish his words as it seemed the tears hooked his throat

I looked away slowly as tears fell from my eyes .

I couldn't believe he did all this for me. He always come home cheerfully and I was too busy to notice my joy is really bearing alot in his heart

I looked at him and cleaned my face.

sniffs... " Nicholas baby I promise you will go to school on Monday okay " ....sniffs

"you will go to school and that's a promise okay... Mum's promise okay ".. ....sniffs

He nod as he embraces me tightly.

We stayed a moment before I cleaned us up and left the back of class we bumped into the principal

" hi mrs Wendy " she greeted with smiles

" Hi ma'am .. how are you doing ? " I force a smile

" I'm fine my dear.. hope Nicholas has been sending my messages to you?" she asked arching her eyes brows

I signed deep and nod.

"yes ma'am. he did "

She nods.

" you see my dear.. you've got to pay his school fees in time okay.. he's a good kid and also a smart one I have ever seen. he's also wise and intelligent... please try all your possible best to pay up okay " the principal said with a sad smile

" yes ma'am I promise I will soon " I said not even sure if I will be able to get any job during the weekends since its Friday today

I hope I can and fulfill my promise to Nicholas. I must say I didn't even know when I made such promise.

I Just wanted to make him better. Gosh!

We talked few minutes with the principal before leaving the school premises and boarded a cab home.

DAMON'S MANSION

" Who the fuck cooked this trash?! " Damon roared furiously as he stared at the food in front of him disgustingly

Jayden shot him a stare lowly.

Damon and his cold attitudes urg!!. he said mentally

The maid came running into the dining in a flash shirnking with fears

her hands and legs body shakening with fears wrriten all over her body with her head bent low

" I...I..si...sir....." She shutters scaredly with eyes shut. Fear to look at Damon

" Your fired! " He yelled at her

" Jayden! " Damon called as he shot him a stare

Great! Jayden said mentally as he stood up from the dining chair

He walked over to Damon and helped him seat on his wheelchair.

He rolled him out of the dining towards his room upstairs with the help of the security men.

He rolled him into his room. Jayden turned the door knob and open the room door and rolled in. closing the door behind them.

He rolled Damon towards the bed. He held Damon's hand as he helped Damon sit on the king's size bed

Jayden signed tiredly.

" Jayden...you have to......"

" not now Damon please I'm tired " Jayden said twisting his head side to side

Damon chuckled and Jayden stopped and shut him a stare

Did Damon just chuckled!

" Damon your chuckling ?!" Jayden called unbelievably as he stared at his best friend

Damon quickly changed his face expression into a Stern one.

" Jayden do well to get me a maid and I'm giving you 48hours to do it! " ordered Damon

Jayden scoffed at him.

" Damon do you really ask me to do that ?.. wait do you even need a maid huh ? " Jayden asked arching his eyes brows while standing akimbo.

Damon simply nod like a child.

" For Christ sake Damon you have sacked over 12 maids now a week!.... and where do you want me to get one for you?! "

" Anywhere Jayden " Damon shrug slightly with smiles

He's trying to get on Jayden's nerves.

" gosh your so unbelievable Damon! " Jayden cried out.

He hit his forehead as he left the room growling angrily.

Damon chuckled again.

" Silly " he cursed under his breath as he laid properly on the bed and covered himself with the duvet.

CHAPTER TWO

" arggg stop Ana I want to sleep! " I yelled furiously as I tossed on the other side of the bed and covered my self with the blanket.

I felt her leaving the room but who was I kidding.

" Jesus! " I screamed as I quickly ran out of the bed and stared at her with shock

She splashed cold water on me. And was glaring at me which I knew was fake.

" Wendy!! don't you take a look at the time! It's 7:56am " she said pointing furiously at the wall clock in the bedroom.

" you've got to into that bathroom!"she added pointing towards the bathroom

" Take a bath. Dress up and go look for a job! Ain't you feeling any pity for that poor child. he's done alot for you so you do same! " she yelled. now pointing towards me

I knew how much Ana loved Nicholas and she was also making some sense.

I knew she was right and I also had to explain to her what happened at school yesterday

We got home and met Ana at the dining eating. She saw us and got up quickly and approached Nicholas pecking him on his cheeks

" how's my little boy doing ? " she asked with smiles on her face

" fine aunty " Nicholas replied with a low voice which was unlike him whenever he greets Ana

Ana noticed and shot me a stare which I looked away. She got the massage something was wrong

" um nico.. go upstairs and freshen up.. then come down towards the dining.. aunt made your favorite bacon just for you "

Ana said roughening Nicholas hair who's eyes beamed at the mention of *bacon*

It was his favorite. He nods and ran upstairs to his room

Ana sighed and looked at me questionly

" what's wrong Wendy?.. this unlike Nicolas.. did something happen in school today ? "

I nod and went straight to the dining table and took a seat.

I grabbed the bacon in front me and shoved it into my mouth while she walked towards me and sat beside me

While I explained everything.

" hm... touching!" she commented at the end of my story.

She placed her hand on my shoulder and squeezed it softly

" but don't worry much Wendy... all will be fine okay ? "

I nod. And she gave me a tight hug. Which I needed at that moment.

I cleaned the water off my hands and face as a single tear drop from my eyes.

" oh my God Wendy I'm sorry okay. I didn't mean to......." she said apologitically walking towards me and hold my hands softly

" It's fine Ana. I understand... I will go in and freshen up now.. I will join you downstairs in 5 minutes " I replied walking towards the bathroom

I felt her sign.

I was even glad she woke me up like that if not I would have slept off till only God knows when I'm gonna wake up

And I desperately needed to find a job and pay Nicholas's fee and restore the kitchen stuff even if Ana has been doing that with the little dollars she's got.

And I do sometimes feel useless but she would warn me never to feel downgraded.

Now tell me why I won't love her huh?!

Jayden ( pov )

Driving across the city of London. I checked my wrist watch 9:20am. I hit my steering and signed frustratly

How can Damon give me such a hard job huh?!

Where does he want me to get a maid?!

None agreed to work for him since they are sacred of his cold attitudes!

Even when they really want too but scared to death!

Urg my head aches now!!. I yelled mentally as I rubbed my forehead.

He turned his head back to the road and drove in full speed and clutched his hands tight on the steering.

just then a lady was crossing the road and was so engrossed with her phone that she didn't even bother to look at the traffic light.

Jayden quickly hit the break. the wheels locked and the car screamed.

The lady who had seen him almost hitting her fell to the ground.

Jayden felt scared inside the car. He hoped he didn't hit the lady but it wasn't his fault. She wasn't looking.

He emerged quickly out of the car and rushed towards the lady on the floor.

" Hey are you okay ? " He asked helping her up.

And he could swore. She was indeed a pretty one with blackish hair Bob and sparkling white eyes with reddish lips

" I'm.... I'm...fine " she shutters dusting her cloths properly.

" I'm sorry......"

" No..no.. it's fine " she replied with a smile

Hmm what a sweet soul! He thought.

" Um I'm Jayden and you are......."

" Ana. Ana George " she replied perfunctory

He nods.

He brought out his card and give it to her and wanted to give her money for the damages which she politely rejected.

He was about saying something when his phone rang.

" pardon me. have got to take this call " he gestures as he brought out his phone.

" Hello Damon ? "

" Where's the maid ? " Damon blunted out over the phone

" geez Damon. Fuck you! Where I'm I gonna see a maid huh?! you've sacked over 12maids a week! "

Ana eyes widen in shock hearing that.

She was planing on telling Jayden she's got someone who could do the job.

After few minutes. Jayden was done and he turned to her apologitically.

" I'm sorry for that "

" no.. no.. it's fine and I'm sorry for eavesdrop on your call.. but I have someone who would be willing to do the job... Uh... I mean the maid " she shutters

" really?!... " Jayden's eye widen Surprisely

He was kind of happy he's finally got someone to work for Damon and wouldn't have to stress himself anymore.

And he prays in his heart she's stays longer than the rest of the maidens who had worked for Damon

" yes Jayden.. uh I have to go now.. I will give you a call later and you'll get to meet her okay ? "

" alright Ana. Please let me drop you off... Don't say no "

She smiled. She nods as they both walked to car and got in.

Jayden kicked the into life as he drove off.

It seemed it gonna rain any moment. I signed deeply

I was so hungry and tired.. looking for a job wasn't an easy one.

" Ana!... Ana!! " I called banging into the sitting room and rushed towards the upstairs.

" mummy. you're back ? "

I heard Nicholas voice halfway and turned back to see him standing close to the downstairs. I walked back towards him

" hi baby. I didn't see you when I came in. where were you? "

" I was here watching movie. you were in rush so you didn't take notice of me. hope no problem mummy "

" awwnn. no my love " I moved closer to him and pecked his cheeks

" where's Ana ?" I asked arching my eyes brows

" in her room sleeping. it's best you don't wake her up. she seem so tired after coming back from work mummy " Nicholas said with a concern look.

Wendy smiled.

" don't worry cupcake. just go ahead and watch your cartoon okay. mummy will join you in few minutes " I said roughening his hair as I turned and ran upstairs towards the room

I turned the door knob. opened it and walked into the room only to see Ana sleeping and snoring softly

I shooked my head left and right as I closed the door.. I walked towards the bed and tapped her softly on her back

" Ana.. Ana.. wake up.. "

" hmm " she hummed sleepily as she sat up slowly signing and rubbing her eyes

I sat beside her on the bed.

" I'm sorry for waking you up "

" no it's fine Wendy " she replied smiling sleepily.

I now regret waking her up. she looks tired. But I'm so curious about the job she was talking about and the boss

" how can you be worried about Nico. When I'm here. you don't need to be worried about him Wendy. I'm gonna take good care of him and besides he's like a son to me and your also trying to do your responsibility as his mother " Ana said softly

Wendy smiled weakly. She moved closer to Ana and gave her a hug wispering * thank you for Everything *

Ana's phone rang and they desengaged. She picked her phone up - Jayden

She declined the call and sent him a text instead.

* I will join you soon in two minutes* .... She turned to Wendy who was staring at her

" you've got to get ready now.. Damon's friend is here to pick you up " Ana said as she stood up from the bed

" alright " wendy replied as she rushed to the bathroom to freshen up.

Ten minutes later. she was done and she rushed downstairs. she couldn't find Nicholas. She rushed to his room and met him on his bed sleeping

She smiled and walked over to his bed and pecked his forehead. She signed as she turned and left the room closing the door quietly behind her.

" she will be here soon.. sorry for the delay " Ana apologized as Jayden shook his head and smiled.

" it's fine Ana " he replied as they stared at each other in slience.

They heard someone cleared the throat as they quickly looked away and turned to Wendy who stood akimbo watching the two love birds

" hope I'm not being a kill joy " she teased

They chuckled shyly.

Geez what the fuck!... she looks so hot and curvy! Jayden exclaimed mentally as he looked away when he discovered he stared at her too much.

" um Jayden this my best friend.. no not best friend.. sister.. my elder sister Wendy!.. Wendy meet Jayden " Ana introduced

" incredible! " escaped Wendy's lips as Jayden drove into Damon's mansion

Jayden parked at the parking alot as they both alighted from the car. The securities all bowed

I opened my mouth in bemusement as I looked around the mansion.

Just the external appreance is great!.. I wonder how the interior would be.

We walked into the dazzling and spacious sitting room.

We walked upstairs and passed through series of doors and got to one which was made with pure Gold!

My eyes roamed around the big room which was five times bigger than mine.. everything here looks so expensive and must cost quiet a fortune!

My eyes settled on someone who sat on a wheelchair facing the wall backing us

I furrowed my eyes in confusion.

" Damon.. the new maid is here " Jayden announced lowly

Damon?!... Damon Davis ?!

Damon kept a cold slience.

" I will be leaving now.. see you tomorrow at the office " Jayden said as he turned to go

I signed deeply feeling nervous as I played with my fingers.

I left the room and rushed downstairs. It was easy locating the kitchen.

Few minutes.. I was able to make a coffee and I carried it in a tray towards his room.

I opened the door with my right hand while the other holding the tray.

I walked into the room and closed the door behind me.

I moved closer to him. He was still siting on his wheelchair

" here's the coffee master " I said dropping it on the small table beside him.

He still faced the wall. I couldn't take a proper look of him but I knew he was handsome

He took the coffee from the tray and glup it little while I stare at him.

I can't believe I'm gonna be this close range with Damon Davis!

Most ladies would do anything just to be in my position.

" Jesus! " I yelped in pain as I fell to the floor wiping my cloth quickly

He spilled the hot coffee on me!

" are you crazy huh.. you punk! " I cursed forgetting his was my boss!

He scoffed at me and gesture me to roll him to bed.

I walked behind the wheelchair and rolled him towards the bed.

I held his hand. gosh so smooth and soft!

He sat on the bed and he pushed my hands away. I shot him a stare lowly and rolled my eyes at him

I knew he saw me but ignores.

" I will be leaving now master " I said lowly as I bow.

He didn't say a word as he stared at me as if I'm some sort of movie.

I scoffed mentally as I turned and walked towards the door

" not one inch! " he said coldly as I stopped and I turned to him slowly with a frown

" why master ? " I asked curiously as to why he stopped me

" you don't speak when your not told too.. and When I speak to you. you look at me and answer me respectfully. I don't beg. especially people like you – so you better learn to behave or else " he growled threateningly as he clutched his fist tightly

For Christ sake I'm working and I can stop if I want too! I yelled in my head

First he poured hot coffee on me and now he's giving me stupid rules.

He fucking doesn't know me! I gritted my teeth mentally

" ye-yes master " I replied trying to keep my cool.

" you may leave now! " he said sternly

I nod

" yes master " I said leaving the room

Stepping out his room. I signed as I walked to the room next to his.

I turned the door knob and went in *wow* escaped my lips as I explore the room.

I rushed towards the queen size bed and fell on it with a loud sign.

I should call Ana but who knows she must have slept off and I miss my little baby boy.

My drift off to the wall clock. 9:58pm

I tossed to one side of the bed and grabbed a pillow. And slowly I drifted off to sleep.

" what the hell! " I yelled as I rosed from the bed with sleepy eyes.

Ouch my back hurts!

The intercom in the room was Ringing indicating Damon's summons me.

I looked over to the wall clock - 2:35am

What the hell?! ... I needed enough sleep!

I groan angrily as I stepped out of the room towards his.

I opened it and met him resting his head on the bed board and was staring coldly at me

What wrong with this dude?... He looks creepy!

" Master " I bowed trying to over power the sleep trying to over take me

" make me some coffee within 2 minutes " he said coldly with dark eyes

I shot him a stare

2 minutes?! .... And what'sup with him and coffee and it's kind of too early!

Doesn't he sleep?!!

I nod and left for the kitchen. I prepared the coffee which was done within 6 mintues

I carried it to his room and place it on the table close to the bed. And I stepped far away from him incase he goes crazy again and pours the coffee on me.

He gluped it once and threw the cup across the room and it crashed

I flinched and shot him a stare while he kept a expressionless face.

He laid properly on the bed and covered himself with the duvet.

Wait..what?!... What just happened now ?!

I asked mentally as i frozed for few minutes.

I regained myself and walked across the room towards the broken cup and cleaned up the mess.

After I was done I left the room and went to the kitchen to trash it

I signed weakly. I felt so dizzy and tired

I stepped out of the kitchen towards the dining. as I decided to take a rest before retiring to bed and siting on the dining chair.

I rested my head on the dining table and closed my eyes.. I drifted off to sleep
