It is the 22nd Foundation day of the Liu Finance Company. The venue was buzzling as the Oriental concept welcomed people.

"...now let us gladly welcome the president!" the emcee then stepped out and a handsome man took over the stage. A great entrepreneur at such young age, recorded as one of the successful person in the country, tall and domineering CEO of the Liu Finance Company, Mr. Liu Jiangli.

"At such young age, I took out my way to build something I can do by myself without relying on someone. The world is tough, tremendous change waves off the industry in anytime. It was tough."

After the speech, everyone applauded as they admired the handsome CEO at the stage, his countenance shining brightly.

"The handsomeness of your husband doesn't really fade out as time goes by Ruoyi." Mierin clapped loudly as she said this to her friend.

Ruoyi rolled his eyes and stared at the familiar figure in the stage smiling.

Liu Jiangli was his husband, it's TRUE, but he was not confident if they can be called a couple, they were victims of arrange marriage after all.

Bei Ruoyi was the third son of the Bei Corporation, an allied company of Liu finance Company and there, that day the news got to him that he will be marrying this domineering CEO and he was utterly shocked. He didn't even had a glimpse on this man personally that time. Everything went smoothly after marriage, he didn't love him and Ruoyi didn't loved him either so nothing happened between them except for media exposure and business matters.

"Hey Ruoyi can you come later?" Mierin asked as the ceremony come to an end

"Yes of course." Ruoyi replied.

"I thought you and Mr. Liu will be having a shareholders dinner later?" Mierin pondered.

"Yes but I bet he won't need me at the dinner. All the people who will attend later would be the people who knew we were both strangers inside the marriage." Ruoyi casually replied.

"Oh... right." she contemplated "Well then! See you later my boy." Mierin laughed and went out.

"I'll call."

He took his way on the President Floor to ask Jiangli about the party he'll be attending. And he opened the door half way when he heard noises.

"Oh, sorry, did I disturb something?" he awkwardly asked as he saw a woman aggressively kissing the unmoved Jiangli.

"Ooh!!" the woman shrieked and fixed her clothes, she panicked and immediately went out leaving both of them on the large office. One was standing, and one was sitting with his shriveled clothes.

Oh he forgot to say, while they were both tied in their marriage, Jiangli had a lot of affairs he can't even count on his ten fingers.

Not his business either way so whenever he's asked, Ruoyi can only shrug.

"Hey Jiangli, I will be attending a party later." Ruoyi casually asked.

Jiangli sharply eyed him.

Ruoyi forced a smiled, "I know about the shareholders meeting of course but I think it's not a problem if I'm not there right?"

Jiangli massaged his head. "Your father will be attending later."

"It's not a problem. Really, as long you're there it will be fine."

There was bit of silence.

"Go."

Ruoyi smiled widely and clapped "You're the man Liu Jiangli!" and he immediately ran off to prepare for the party. He called Mierin.

"Mierin wait for me in your house."

"So you're really coming?!" she exclaimed on the other line.

"I wouldn't call you if I will not!"

"Okay okay hahaha. 6pm, sharp!"

The sun was setting down and finally, they both reached their destination. It was a luxurious modern manor where party lights are all over and people were busting down to the beat of the loud music.

"Fun fun fun!!" Mierin exclaimed to him and pulled him at the crowd.

"Hey Shu!" Ruoyi called to a hot guy standing near. Tall, and has good features, his Hawaiian polo was a bit loose.

"Shu!!" Mierin also called out.

The man called Shu finally heard them and smiled when they spotted them. He walked over.

"Does business running wild that you both can finally come here?" Shu was the host of the party and the owner of the manor.

"I'm persistent to see your arts my dear Shu." Mierin who was a bit classy, flirted with the man.

Shu only laughed, "You really suck at flirting."

Mierin slapped him.

"Where's Xian?" Ruoyi asked.

"He was touring his cousin around who just came back from Europe." Shu replied as he take a sip on his drink.

"This looked like a club party than an Art Party." Ruoyi stated as his gaze travel around the area.

This party was actually an exhibit for Shu's arts that includes painting, sculpture, crafts and many more.

But you see, Shu is a party guy so he made it in his own style.

"Did you expect the classic style you married man?!" Shu exclaimed

Mierin laughed "An Oldie."

Ruoyi "..."

They walked around the place and explored the displayed arts, Shu was full of inner talent because he was flexible at anything. There are mostly a lot of products from pottery and wood carving, he also had paintings and digital made decorations.

When they finally reached the second floor, they saw their friend Xian and a good looking guy beside him.

Admiring the displayed arts.

"R-Ruoyi is that an angel??" Mierin whispered as she witness the angelic face of Xian's cousin.

Fair skin, slender and had a small but gentle face, waist smaller than a lady. Partly foreign on his appearance and had his hair a bit in a curl, they were sure he is younger than them.

Ruoyi was also in awe at this rare beauty but stopped when he noticed the guy was staring back.

"Are you done?" Shu kissed Xian on the lips as he asked him not minding the people around.

Xian nodded, "You're quite an artist Lin said."

Lin smiled and nodded "It is indeed."

Shu smiled, "Thank you very much! Didn't thought that a well known global artist will compliment my arts."

"He is also an artist?!" Mierin exclaimed

Xian laughed "Mierin, Ruoyi let me introduce you Lin Ri."

"Lin Ri??" Ruoyi asked. Everyone turned their eyes to him.

"He's really well known, he won a Nobel prize for his two consecutive works!" Ruoyi said.

"It's him?" Mierin asked in all curiosity

Ruoyi glance at Lin and Lin was also staring back, he blushed with their continuous eye contact without the other people noticing. "He was famous!"

"And actually," their eyes turned again to Lin who just spoke.

"I knew Mr. Bei ever since. He showed his support at my works in any platforms I participated." Lin smiled.

"Ooh~" they all said in chorus.

Ruoyi scratched his head "You didn't show your face or given any details that's why I didn't recognize you but I'm a great fan!" he bowed

Lin was startled and waved his hand to Ruoyi to rise up.

"Then..."

"We'll be leaving you two." Xian and Shu said

"But----" they both dragged Mierin away.

Only Ruoyi and Lin was left behind.

Ruoyi was bit awkward but managed to invite Lin around. Lin shyly agreed.

"....I was a bit devastated where you went to hiatus last summer. I don't know but the updates on your works makes my day."

Lin giggled, "It was due to some health reason and I did see your messages flooding my inbox after I came back."

Ruoyi took a glance at him and can't help but to feel something, maybe because finally he saw the person he really admired "Sorry about that. But your works were very therapeutic for me Haha."

Lin smiled without Ruoyi seeing it.

After a long walk with a bunch of conversations and laughs, they reached the partying crowd at the open hall.

"This Art Party is something." Lin managed to said under the loud beat of the music.

"Watch out!" Ruoyi pulled him when a drunk passed out right on his spot.

"I'm not drunk..." the man uttered, his actions contradicting his words.

"Sorry, about that. Come on now..." his friend apologized and carefully dragged him out.

"That was close." Ruoyi said until he realized that his 'pull' was a bit over acted. Lin was now lying on his bosom with his arms surrounding him.

"S-Sorry." Ruoyi immediately called out, flustered and withdrew his hands.

"It's okay." Lin chuckled seeing him flustered.

Then they settled down on an inner room where there were less crowd.

"Here." Ruoyi reached a drink for him.

"Thanks."

He sat beside him but made space between them as if they were still a fan and an idol.

Lin giggled at him "You're funny."

"You're flooding me with your utmost respect online but here you are, being distant." he said

Ruoyi drank all his part, "I'm quite a shy person." he joked

They both laughed. But Ruoyi still can't take off his eyes on Lin's face, his whole demeanor was attracting him so much.

Lin noticed his gaze and curved a smile at him. "What's the matter?"

He was startled and avoided his gaze, "Nothing! Haha"

But Lin was more curious and took the gap between them "You were staring at me the whole time." he spoke gently as he lean on him.

Ruoyi blushed. "I-It's not what you think."

"I'm not thinking anything." Lin whispered as his hot breaths touched Ruoyi's skin.

'Oh boy...'

He nervously blinked as he felt Lin's hand slowly caressing his body in a seductive way.

And all of a sudden, Lin settled on his lap.

Ruoyi was dumbfounded.

He didn't knew that this angelic man can be very straight forward.

Lin smiled at him "I've been attracted to you, you know." he placed his arms on Ruoyi's shoulder.

"I didn't even know what happened but I ended up yearning for your messages and compliments and..." Lin placed his head on Ruoyi's shoulder, still staring at the mans' face whose about to break down with a more push.

"I wanted to see you." he seductively spoke under his breath

Ruoyi felt a beat on his heart and stared back at Lin.

"You... you're not serious aren't you?" Ruoyi blinked.

Lin giggled and reached for the rim of Ruoyi clothes, his delicate and cold hand touched the man's skin.

"H-Hey....!" Ruoyi ceased his hand from entering inside and looked around.

"I-I can't do this and, you should not do this. I'm not worthy for your affection, i-if it is." he said

Even though Jiangli freely cheated on their marriage but Ruoyi swore not to do anything within the bond, and he never imagined himself having an affair, he may be rich and decent but his looks were so-so, it's not even worth turning for. That's why he is somewhat confuse but also excited on Lin's behaviour.

Ruoyi gently took Lin's small head to face him, "I'm already married." with his disappointed face, he raised his hand to let the other see the ring on one of his finger.

Lin's emerald eyes stared at the ring and smiled, he leaned and licked Ruoyi's finger.

Ruoyi twitched from his wet tongue touching his skin "H-Hey....!"

"I know." Lin said "I looked up to you and found out you're a son of someone big and married a big fish I know." he settled his arms again to Ruoyi's shoulder and his face an inch apart from the man.

"But it's not even serious. Arrange marriage?" Lin giggled as he explored Ruoyi's neck with his lips.

Feeling that Ruoyi was already stiff, he slowly grind on his lap to properly declare he was seducing him.

Ruoyi jerked at his sudden movement.

"You're up."

The party went deeper on that night and the people did lessen. The lights no longer emits colorful lights and turned into darkish and swaying ones, even the music was sweet and soft. Some settled in some corners and some already went home contentedly and sober.

But in a place less popular in the area, two man were wildly gasping and feeling each other. One was sitting while one was above him.

They were both sucking each other's mouth and almost out of breath, Lin broke free but Ruoyi, who found the guy's lips so sweet and soft, grunted as he pulled Lin again. The scent Lin was giving off was so sweet and intense he can't help it.

"I'm... I'm out of breath." Lin managed to broke again

"Ain't you hungry much?" Lin uttered against his lips with his dishevelled clothes caused by Ruoyi's unsettling hand roaming around his body.

Ruoyi bit his lips and cannot longer hold on, harshly pulled Lin again "Let's go to my place." he whispered on his ears that made the other flinched from added pleasure.

"Mm.... do you want to declare your unfaithfulness?" the man mumbled and continually replied his kisses.

Ruoyi traveled toward his neck and bit a part of it.

"Ah!" Lin exclaimed but before he can even complain. Ruoyi stood up and took his arm. He was serious and in a bit of hurry.

"Such eagerness." Lin said.

Ruoyi took him inside the car and rode off to his place.

This place was his own house, where he built for himself and a place he call his own. He either comes here for leisure or time wasting, just moments where he doesn't want to see Jiangli's face.

When they both reached the place, they resumed their kisses after getting off from the car, kissing and biting while traveling towards the master's bedroom

Lin and Ruoyi didn't said anything when they were about to start because they were both tense and nervous.

After an hour of playing and loosing, Ruoyi raised Lin's wet waist roughly.

"W-Wait!" he called

"D-Do it gently. It's... my first." He managed to say on his breath.

Ruoyi raised a brow "Your first?"

Lin nodded "Don't get carried away on the process or else I can no longer stand tomorrow." he said humorously but deep down, he's quite nervous himself.

Ruoyi was stunned, this man haven't done this things of sort and was his first time but he is willing to give it to him?

Ruoyi melted and caressed the man's reddish cheeks, "I'll try." and smiled, his scent and body and expressions were driving him crazy after all.

The night went on with the continuous shaking of the bed and loud noises and pleading.

The sun was high up when Ruoyi woke up.

Something was sore below but it's not painful as what Lin had experienced.

He glanced beside him and there he was, the artist who he really admired. Curled and sleeping soundly.

He felt an urge to kiss him because the sweet scent his giving off still lingers on him.

He leaned and kissed the man's head.

Then he heard Lin groan, still eyes closed.

"Hey... are you awake?"

"W... Water.." Lin throat was rough and dry but managed to speak the word.

Ruoyi immediately took some clothes and ran off to take some water.

"Here..."

Lin opened his eyes and moved his waist to sit but immediately groaned in pain.

"Hurts... it hurts."

Ruoyi was struck in guilt. "Don't move too much." he said

He gently guided Lin to properly sit in accordance to his comfortability and placed a pillow behind him. Lin then slowly drank the water at his great effort.

"Are you okay?" Ruoyi asked

"Better."

Ruoyi bit his lip, Lin's eyes was swollen from crying and pleading last night even his lips were swollen and red, his body was full of reddish and purplish marks. He's really sorry.

"I-I'm sorry, was I hard last night?" Ruoyi asked in his guilty tone.

Lin stared back and smiled, he reached an arm to pull Ruoyi and kissed him softly.

Ruoyi replied back with more gentle kisses.

"That was memorable." Lin leaned on his bosom.

"Really?" he didn't expected this answer

"But I still can't believe you're a virgin all this time. I mean you're beautiful... and attractive and.... beautiful." Ruoyi mindlessly said as he roamed his hand to the naked body of Lin, not inviting but to give tingles that can sooth him.

Lin's head nuzzles to the man's chest as a response to the tingles. "I wanted to fully give myself to the person I had always loved."

Ruoyi kissed his head, he didn't replied.

He knew he was married.

"I started liking you from the moment you appreciated my first artwork that I posted online. You were the only one who noticed it." Lin continued

Rouyi reminisced and laughed "Ah yes I remember that painting. It had a minimalistic theme that's why people didn't dig much to it but I liked it. I don't know but I liked it, like it was something I used to love that came back to me, that feeling... isn't it weird?"

"Yeah.... too weird." but Lin was grinning as he said this "Maybe there's something that you really lost for a long time."

"Well your arts gives off this vibe everytime and they were really different from any other---hey." Ruoyi stopped his hand on the nape of Lin.

He was shocked to the core.

"What is it?" Lin slowly faced him.

"Is that my mark on your nape?" Ruoyi was horrified.

Lin immediately touched his nape. His skin was marked by teeth, it was a mark deeper among the marks he had in his body.

It was a territorial mark that an alpha can give.

"I can't believe this."

Then it was that time that Ruoyi had only realized that Lin was an omega, the scent and the sweetness that he exhorts. He didn't thought much of it because he was excited and his surging feeling to eat him clouded his mind.

Also, he really can't recall how he managed to give him the mark.

He's dead. Jiangli was an Alpha, and he was a Zeta.

A Zeta was partly Alpha and partly Omega, in short he can also give territorial mark. "You gave me a mark?" Lin asked.

"I-I don't know. I can't remember..." Ruoyi was confused as he tried to remember.

But Lin only giggled and hugged him "Then this could be fate? Destiny? They did work for us."

Ruoyi blinked. Then is this real? His mother once told them about the truth of this cycle, they says that it was destiny working for all the pairing. Once you met your fated pair, it is unbreakable.

Majority believes it was just a bit of beautiful concept for the new system and Ruoyi didn't thought about it.

However, he can't help but to smile.

He was not fond of these things but it isn't coincidence, he liked and adored this artist and unknowingly, he liked him back. And they met in an unexpected way and committed a bond. Isn't it like destined to happen without them acting?

He smiled and hugged him back. Once two mate bonded, affections and feelings are mutual. Maybe it was all real.

But a problem was still existing.

"But Lin. I'm married."

Lin faced him and cupped his cheeks "You both don't love each other right? And you won't be able to give me a mark if he already marked you but he didn't. He's not your mate. I am."

Ruoyi stared at him, pondering of what he just said.

"My mate." Ruoyi smiled he liked the thought that he had found his true mate.

"My mate!" He exclaimed and kissed Lin.

They both cuddled up and smiled sincerely on their hearts content.

Lin savored the moment when he suddenly remembered something, "Oh right! I remembered, I'll be having a grand exhibit three months from now." Lin exclaimed

"Yes, yes I know." Ruoyi responded

"Such an avid fan. I was scheduled today to meet the gallery director."

Ruoyi glanced at the terrace "It was already noon. When will be the meeting?"

"At 3."

"Oh dear let's get you up."

"Here we are." Ruoyi stated as he parked the car at the Xinyi Gallery, one of the top hosting venue on the country.

"Good luck."

Lin pulled him to have a kiss "When we'll be meeting again?"

Ruoyi bit Lin's lower lips "Later."

Lin smiled widely "Then, later." He kissed him once again and got off.

They both gave their addresses and contacts. Ruoyi told Lin to stay whenever he wants in his house but as for now, Lin will stay at his condominium because he haven't unpacked yet.

Ruoyi drove back home where he and Jiangli reside. As a married couple they live in one roof but they had separate rooms which was in Ruoyi's comfort.

"Who's that Lin?" Lin's acting manager asked as he saw Lin got off from a very expensive branded car.

Lin just smiled as he took the document from him.

"By the way where did you go off to last night? Xian called me that he can't reach you and couldn't find you at the art party." he inquired the young artist as they strode off the empty white gallery

They stopped at a large canvas which contains his latest painting, he took off the white fabric covering it.

"I went to retrieve something I lost."

He said this meaningfully as he travels his finger on a face of a man he painted on the canvas. The man doesn't have a detailed face but surely it resembles someone.

After sending Lin off, Ruoyi decided to go 'home'. He had numerous calls coming from Mierin and... his 'husband' which is confusing.

He entered their big empty house.

But he was taken aback when he spotted Jiangli at the living room, sitting alone and looked gloomy.

"Jiangli? Have no work today?" Ruoyi casually asked

Jiangli finally raised his head and his usual unfriendly eyes stared at him.

"You didn't went home last night." he said in an authoritative tone.

"Uh.. that... I overslept at Shu's house." He scratched his head, he didn't know it will concern him.

Jaingli raised a brow, "Really? I called Mierin and she said you slept at her house."

Ruoyi "....."

"Does it matter?" Ruoyi stated.

"I'm going to take some clothes."

"Why?"

"I'll overtime. I was absent the whole morning." it's a half fact and a half lie, it's true he'll overtime but the reason for the clothes... well, for the 'later'.

He was about to take the stair when Jiangli suddenly pulled his arm.

He abruptly turned, this man was very surprising every time, Ruoyi didn't even heard his footsteps coming from behind him.

"You're not doing anything don't you?" Jiangli eyed him.

Ruoyi freed from his grasp "If I'm doing anything, I will make sure your name won't be tainted." and he left

As the Director of Bei Corp. he had some documents left but managed to finished it all at 10 PM.

He was about to enter his car when his phone received a message.

Lin: Are you done?

Ruoyi: I'm coming.

He drove off until he reached the designated condo.

Lin bright face welcomed him.

"Welcome!" he pounced on him "I miss you already." he mumbled

"Unfortunately, me too." Ruoyi took his chin to kiss him. It started as light as a feather but became passionate. Ruoyi continuously kissed Lin while dragging him towards the couch near them. He topped Lin.

Ruoyi roamed his hands on the inner clothes of Lin while sucking his ear.

"Mm..." Ruoyi found his lips again and started to unclothe him.

Lin gently took Ruoyi's chin and seductively said, "Stay for the night okay?"

So another night went on wild in the couch.

"Hey Ruoyi." Lin called

"I haven't toured the city much." he played his finger on Ruoyi's bare chest.

They settled in bed right after a round in the shower.

"Want me to take you to a date?"

Lin placed his head on Ruoyi's chest and hugged him. "I don't know... you have work right?"

Ruoyi kissed his forehead "I have."

Lin pouted and buried his face in Ruoyi's chest.

"But I knew this would happen and I already asked Mierin to take care of things and told her to just call me if anything urgent happens." Ruoyi continued

Lin raised his head and smiled happily "You silly!" and moved to kiss him.

"Should I make a list?" Ruoyi asked

Lin smirked "I already have one~"

When the sun finally rose, they both had a lovely breakfast and finally prepared to depart.

The City was large and innovative but the city is also famous for preserving ancient structures and areas where their ancestors defended against the changing waves of the world.

And Lin asked to explore each ancient places that was preserved. All of it.

"Do you love history?" Ruoyi asked as he drove.

"Not much but maybe things would work out if I visited them." Lin replied as he scan the City's brochure.

Ruoyi took a turn "Work out? For inspiration? Are you currently working on something?"

"Not yet." He closed the brochure and took a quick kiss on Ruoyi "It's for you to work out."

Before he could even ask of what do he mean by that, Lin exclaimed in surprise while pointing at the oldest Grand Pagoda they were seeing. It was tall and ancient, the nine levels inside was emphasized by its outer volume.

"Never gets old, good as new." he smiled

"Guess you made your research. The Grand Pagoda was preserved at its finest as one of the old towers in the world. Unfortunately, we can only take a tour outside, no one is allowed to enter." Ruoyi explained as he smiled at the face of Lin who was pleased and happy.

"Then let's tour! I brought my DSLR~"

They parked the car and finally toured the place. A lot of tourist was also sight seeing and taking some pics, videos, some were even vlogging.

"It's so domineering when you stand up close." Lin stated as he raised his DSLR for a shot on the tower.

"Waah~ it's so pretty. But it would be prettier if they haven't covered the small river on it's right side." Lin complained.

"You also know that detail?" Ruoyi was amazed by his research. The river flowing from the West Mountain was covered for landscape purposes and just a few people knew that long lost fact.

"A little research?" Lin made a gesture on his finger and Ruoyi giggled at this.

"Oh that side!" he ran off to another side to shot an another angle.

"Hey..." Lin stopped taking shots when two man went to near him.

"Hey beauty, are you alone?" the other guy smirked.

"Want us to accompany you?" they approached him wearing their wicked smirks.

"Dangerous guys are everywhere. You're a beauty won't you be at risk?" the man laughed and was about to reach an arm to Lin when Ruoyi suddenly came and ceased it.

"He's not alone." He released some force on his grip at the man's wrist.

"O-Okay, we only thought h-he's alone come now Brother, let go o-ouch...!" the man pained.

"Its okay Ruoyi." Lin clinged to Ruoyi

Ruoyin harshly put away the man's wrist. "Mind your own business." he said darkly, then the two strangers ran off.

"And you young man, don't run off just like that." Ruoyi scolded him.

He pouted and plumped to hug Ruoyi "I was not even a meter away." while rubbing his face on the man's cloth.

Ruoyi chuckled with his cuteness and hugged him back "Come now, we still had a plenty to visit."

After the Grand Pagoda, they headed straight at the Ruins of the Lost City of Imgrad, it's purely a ruin from a great city in the past, a City that was built by a Western Warrior who happened to marry a native princess.

"....it was completely destroyed after the war of cosmos in the past."

"I felt pity for the Architecture though..." Lin took a shot at the one last standing column of a certain structure which were built here once.

"But there are a lot who survived and kept the culture, even their literatures and folklores was well kept." Ruoyi added

After the Ruins, they headed to the Garden of Mu, Bridge to Xin and many more.

After they took a break and ate their lunch, they resumed their course and finally went to the infamous Red District that encompasses the whole street of the place. It was an ancient entertainment place that was preserved solely for viewing and nothing more.

"It's my first time coming here." Ruoyi stated as they take a walk

"Your first? Why?" Lin curiously asked

"Well, I really don't know but even seeing a picture of this place makes me sad... and gloomy and I don't know Haha. I'm a bit sentimental you see." Ruoyi laughed it off, admitting that he's emotional to strange things unrelated to him.

Ruoyi laughed but Lin's emerald eyes were scanning him through, it was not his usual stare.

Then Ruoyi felt something wrapped on his arm and he saw Lin hugging his arm with his head leaning on it while they walk.

They stayed on this posture until they reach the biggest house among all the houses.

"We're here, the top red house in the district named 'Crimson Night'" They stared at an old large red house at the center of the district. Built with extensive design and inclined to have several rooms inside with the main hall on the first floor. The place truly gave the vibe that this place where once had beauties and lonesome gentlemen playing with each other.

"I bet you also know this. They say the 'Tales of the Red House' happened in here and one of the famous one were the 'Story of the Martial and the brothel servant'."

"The tale started when an alpha lord, a great martial in the past had met someone in here." Ruoyi started

"Aside from being powerful and domineering, he lusts for bed everytime he comes back from wars and this house, was his favorite place. And then, he met the servant of this place who do chores all around and much, then... just one typical night, he was called to clean the lord's quarter after the lord used all his strength on the beauties..."

He continued"...that night, they said, the lord unknowingly took liking on him. And then he pursued him in a harsh manner but ended up falling inlove with the ugly servant and yearned for the servant's heart that's why he took the servant as his main spouse. But the servant had someone he loved and because he can't take it anymore, he killed himself right at the lordship's courtyard."

"It's a tragic story it seems, what do you think Lin?" he turned to see Lin's expression but it was solemn and dark.

"Lin?" he touched his cheeks "Are you not feeling well?"

Lin realized he was being unusual and immediately changed his mood "Wha--? No, no I'm fine, it's just that... I don't like this place."

"Okay then let's take a rest at the nearby cafe. Your face is pale, are you sure you're okay?

Lin nodded "I'm fine." he kissed his cheeks for assurance.

They went on a small cafe and took a table there.

"Wait here." Ruoyi went to order, he knew that in some way, Lin's mood became bad when they went on that red house.

Ruoyi was lining up at the counter when suddenly a man spoke behind him.

"Hi."

Ruoyi turned to him

His face was not quite familiar to him, "Uh, hello?"

The man smiled "It's my first seeing you but, you're quite outstanding..." he bit his lip as he stare at Ruoyi "... are you an alpha?" he's obviously flirting.

Ruoyi awkwardly smiled luckily it was his turn to order. He immediately picked some snacks and tried his best to ignore the man behind but he can feel the intense stare behind.

After a while, he finally finished and went back to their table. He spotted Lin sleeping, his head on the table. He placed the food at the table first and seated beside his lover.

"Hey Lin..." he gently called as his hand massaged Lin's back.

"Are you really okay?" he asked worriedly.

Lin slowly opened his eyes "I'm fine just a bit sleepy." he yawned

"Should we go home after eating?" Ruoyi suggested but Lin shake his head

"I still want to visit the Firefly River."

Rouyi smiled, "Okay lets recover your energy first."

And they started eating. Ruoyi was infront of Lin again and Lin can definitely notice the man who had his eyes fixed on Ruoyi on the table not too far from them.

"Do know that man?" Lin asked and gestured the man at the other side table who was only staring at him.

Ruoyi turned to look and shrugged, "I don't know him. He approached me while I was lining up."

Lin raised a brow "Did he said something?"

"He asked if I'm an alpha." Ruoyi casually replied as he eat his burger

Lin twitched and made a fist, he eyed the man furiously. The man who was still staring Ruoyi noticed his glare and looked away.

If someone is asking the other if he was an alpha means that he is an omega searching for a mate.

"You're an omega?" After observing the man, Lin followed the man in the bathroom.

The man smiled mischievously "Yes I am but I see you're also an omega so you don't need to approach me much." he said this as he washed his hands.

"I hate the way you look at my man." Lin took a step forward with his dark face.

But the man only laughed "Your man? Really? Well, I'm sorry if you felt intimated I thought he's the mate I'm searching for."

"He's my type, he was cute and I really like his face," the man seemed to be a careless guy and keeps blabbering whatever he has in mind

"...I was just wondering of how will be his expression when----" he didn't finished his words when Lin took a grip on his hair and harshly slammed his head on the wall beside. He may be small and delicate but the force coming from him was mysteriously great.

"Say that again?" He tighten his grip on the man.

The man's nose was already bleeding caused from the collision on the hard wall, and the bones seemed like to have broken.

Lin was a different person on this angle.

"Don't dare."
