CEO's Sweet Love

Feeling intense pain over her head, she woke up from the bed as she reached out for her cell phone, staring at the screen, it was almost 7 in the morning.

She put her phone back on the table and went straight to the bathroom.

She took a warm bath relaxing her slender body, then gazed at her reflected self in the mirror.

Water droplets dripping from her wet hair racing to her chest, she looked completely different.

Her slim and slender body, smooth and soft skin, long and lovely eyelashes with steep eyebrows, long and black hair, sexy thin lips, were making out her whole appearance unbelievably graceful, glorious and elegant like a noble.

But- Her lifeless eyes were clearly stating ~She doesn't care anymore~.

Belief, enthusiasm, passion, or feelings, those kinds of emotions no longer existed in those lifeless eyes.

Honestly, she even herself can't identify it out, what kind of emotion now existed in her lifeless eyes anymore, or it just deserted with nonentity around where it is surrounded by a strong barrier.

~At company~

"Good morning, Melissa." Everyone greeted her with a huge smile who looked like a model in her company uniform.

She greeted them back without any emotion on her face, nor with a smile, nor with a cold face. Everyone in her company was used to her emotionless complexion.

At first, when she joined the company, employees used to assume her as a weirdo woman and of course, they still do. Well, as the time passes by, they all got used to her emotionless completion.

"Hey! Listen, Listen." Sizu came rushing to the office as everyone's gaze falls on her.

"Our new boss is going take over the company within this week." Sizu announced excitedly "Guess, who is it?"

"New boss?" One of the employees inquired in surprise "Don't know, Who is it?"

"Well... it's our company's boss, second Son." Sizu announced with excitement.

"Second Son?" One of the female employees stood up from her chair "Really? I heard that he is extremely handsome. He even used to be a model for news articles when he was a kid but then, he left for a foreign country to study. He must be very handsome.

"Yeah! Yeah!" One by one of them started to converse about the new boss in the office.

Sizu claps her hand, drawing everyone's attention towards her "Aa-hmm! Well... so everyone why don't we prepare a welcome party for our new boss?"

One female worker who was sitting quietly refused "No we can't. It's in our company rule, if we broke the rule then, we have to bear a huge consequence."

"Yeah! It's true but at least we can welcome him by giving him a beautiful flower."

Everyone agreed with her opinion.

"Well, that's it then. Let's welcome him with a beautiful flower." After saying that Sizu strolled straight to Melissa "Aren't you excited for this?"

"For what?" Melissa asked working on her file without peeking a glance at her.

Sizu gave a heavy sigh "I had already expected this from you so don't worry, I'm not surprised. I'll tell you. Our new boss is going to attain within this week."

"So...?" Melissa responded without any excitement or emotion.

"So?" Sizu grabbed her face and turn towards her, fixing each other gaze "So... our new boss is our retired boss's second son. I heard, he is truly handsome and he is young?"

"Does that have anything to do with me?" Melissa asked gazing at her in a quite voice.

"Well... not really... but yeah... I mean if we got a chance to hook up with our boss then..." Sizu began to have a daydream with a drool.

"Can you let go of my face now? I have tons of works to do." Melissa wasn't interested at all.

All of a sudden, Sizu's excitement was vanishing because of Melissa's empty reaction as she began to feel bored "I knew you would respond in something like this way, but even so, I wanted to share my happiness with you. I mean... Ugh! Leave it!"

Melissa didn't mumble anything as she continue to do her work.

"It's the same as always. Why are you even bothering to tell her?" The soft voice came from behind.

Sizu immediately avert her gaze to the voice "Oh! Jenny, I know." She let out a helpless sigh.

She chuckled lightly and strode towards them "So, you're still working, huh!"

Jenny and Sizu had always admired Melissa, who was outstanding at her work.

Jenny extended her hand towards where Melissa had put her precious book beside the computer.

Melissa instantly grab her hand like a poisonous python and glared at her with a cold, lifeless face.

She shortly withdraw her hand from Melissa and raised her hand upward as if she entirely surrendered herself to her "Don't worry! Don't worry! I don't want to die so soon at this young age. I was just going to take that file, not your precious book."

Melissa's cold face gradually disappears and returns back to normal "Ask me first, I'll give it you by myself."

Sizu cackled and patted on jenny's shoulder heavily "I honestly believed that you were going to die. I even had already imagined how would the funeral look like but sadly, it shattered into pieces."

"Shut up! That's not funny." Jenny took a file from Melissa, "I'll return this back to you tomorrow." After saying that, she went to her way.

"Hey! Melissa, I want to go shopping today. Let's go." Sizu hold Melissa's hand and looked at her with a watery puppy eye knowing "Please..."

"No!" Melissa instantly rejected her. Sizu knew that she would reject her but she wasn't ready to give up yet. She requested her until she agreed to go with her.

Even though Melissa didn't wanted to go, she had no choice but to agree with her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have leave her alone.

After shopping, they went at the Park. As always, Melissa was holding her precious book on her chest carefully.

"'ll bring juice, you wait here okay?" Sizu went to buy juice near the park stall.

Melissa saw a garden with variations of beautiful flowers in front of her eyes which made her remind of her precious and beautiful memory.

She ambled closer to the garden recalling those precious memories of her life.

The more she was losing herself in those beautiful memories, the more she started to feel an intense pain right over her head as if the huge stone was hitting right back to her head heavily.

Her whole body halted starting to feel weakness and breathless as if her whole being was giving up on her. She couldn't even stand straight properly.

She searched for her medicine in her bag just to find out that she had forgotten her medicine on her office desk.

She wanted to take that medicine so badly, to reduce her crazy unbearable pain. Fortunately, Sizu came at the right time.

Sizu frowned anxiously "MELISSA!! W-W-What happened?"

Sizu saw Melissa panting heavily searching on her bag. Her heart started to thump against her body rapidly.

Her body started trembling "M-Melissa?" She frowned anxiously "W-W-What happened? Melissa... take a deep breath. I'm right here okay? Don't worry." She holds her hand gently "Come, sit at the bench and relax okay?"

Noticing that, she didn't move her body, Sizu gulped hard through her dry throat trying to calm down.

She took a deep breath and gazed at Melissa "Meli-"

"Sizu!" Melissa breathed heavily "Me-Medicine... my... my medicine."

Sizu widen her eyes anxiously "What? Medicine?" She took her bag and was about to search when Melissa interrupt in low and weak voice "I... I don't... I don't have it."

"You don't have it?" Sizu took a deep breath to calm down "Wait here... I-I'll go and buy it immediately... Okay?"

She looked around to ask for someone's help but nobody was there at the moment which made her even more anxious.

Trying to calm down, she ran to the pharmacy since she knew very well about Melissa's sickness and about her medicine. Fortunately, the medicine shop was really near to the park.

Melissa was suffering too much pain cause of not getting the dose of that medicine which helps her to calm down. She was still holding her book in her arm and due to the pain in her whole body, head, she couldn't move and can only wait for Sizu at that same spot to get the medicine.

Her leg was trembling due to weakness.

While she was waiting for her panting heavily, someone who was rushing to the exit of the park bumped into her unknowingly.

Melissa, who was too weak to withstand a small force fell on the ground. Her precious book also fell on the ground with her. At that moment, she felt like, her heart was going to stop at any moment.

Melissa glared at the person, He was wearing a black suit with a white plain shirt and dark blue tie making him outstandingly handsome and perfect to be real.

His face was really smooth, his wavy hair covering his forehead, sexy lips, phoenix eye, which can make anyone fall in love, at first sight, making unable to resist it... he was just like a prince of every female's dream.

Her furious gaze fells onto him only for a second as she averted her gaze from him to her precious book where it was dropped.

She was honestly disgruntled at the moment, not cause she fell, it was causing her precious book to drop on the ground. How dare he?**

He strolled to her "I apologize. I was in hurry so, Are you alright?" His voice was damn sexy and hot to be real but Melissa didn't gave a damn about him.

She glanced at the book and was about to get it but just when she was moving, he ambled ahead and reached out his hand to help her out to get up.

"I hope you're alright!" He was a gentleman.

Unfortunately, he may have done the biggest mistake of his life. He actually stepped on her precious book by his shoe unknowingly since he was in hurry but due to this, it made her drive crazy like a madman.

It was as if, he didn't step on the book but her only memory that has been keeping her soul existing within her till now.

From far away, Sizu saw the worst scenario. The guy in black just stepped on her precious book which she even never allows anyone to touch it.

She rushed hastily to them, cause she knew that Melissa, at the moment has lost her sense like a madman.

She knew that the situation was really dangerous for both of them. At this moment, she wanted to save both Melissa and that guy in a black suit who committed a horrible mistake, as if he has committed a sin though it was by mistake.

Melissa was struggling to get up on her feet with her weak body. She then took her precious book without looking at him and removed the dust carefully so that, even a tiny bit of dust doesn't stay there.

"Are you o-" Before he could finish his word, Melissa gave a big and loud slap right at his face "Paaaaa!!"

He was speechlessly stunned like, What just happened? His right face was entirely swollen with a red mark over his left cheek by just one slap of her.

~Did she just slap me?"

~Did she just slapped me?~ He muse as his cold eagle gaze falls down at her.

The people who were walking around couldn't help but notice it. They all started to gather around.

The people in black suit who came forward to help him out halted seeing him raising his index finger indicating them to stop right there.

"Who the hell are you to step on my book?! Huh..." Melissa furiously yelled at him forward with her weak body which she was barely holding to stand straight. Her voice was cold full of outrage, her lifeless gaze were crazy as hell "How dare you to step on my book?"

She clenched her fist, she could feel her blood boiling at the top of her head. She then was about to give another slap on his right face, at that moment, but fortunately, Sizu prevented her hand at the right time from giving another round of slap by gripping her wrist tightly.

Melissa who had gone totally insane, glared at Sizu coldly with a warning.

When her cold gaze falls on Sizu, she felt chill running through her spine and cold on her feet, she was scared of her but this time, there was no time of being scared, cause of course, at this moment, Melissa health come first who was truly in danger state. Being this much angry was really not good for her health.

"Melissa, I have bought your medicine... let's take that first, Okay?" Sizu tried to calm her down while forcing a smile on her face.

"I said- leave- my- hand!" Melissa warned with a cold face. She bad gone insanely crazy.

People were starting to gather, all of them were really shocked to see the appearance of Melissa's. It was like a beautiful fairy turning into a wild beast.

"Please... people are also gathering here, and on the top of that, you're not in good condition... and you have already slapped him, so I don't think there is any need to give another slap right? So... let's go for now... please, I beg you." Sizu begged holding Melissa's hand with no intent of letting go.

"I... said... lea-" Melissa's head was honestly hurting, at that moment, she felt like, a sharp pin pointed knife was piercing through her head with no match.

She hold her head by her one hand in pain as her another hand was holding her precious book with no intent of letting go. It was clear, her boom was more precious than her life. She fall a on the ground on her knee, "A-Ahhhh!!"

Sizu instantly let go of her hand "T-T-Take this medicine... f-f-fast... fast..." Her hand was trembling cause she was extremely anxious and afraid by observing her state who was suffering a lot but before she could give that medicine to her, Melissa was already unconscious with her pale face on the ground.

"MELISSAA!!" Sizu was extremely nervous and anxious seeing her unconsciously "Melissa... Melissa... Open your eyes, please... W-What happened? D-Doctor... Is there any doctor...? Please help her out." Tears started to drip from her eyes "Please, Anyone. I beg of you, please, help!"

Her mind had gone blank. She couldn't think of anything. She was angry, mad and hateful towards her pathetic and useless self when Melissa need her most.

At that moment, the guy in black suit came forward and carried Melissa on his strong arm.

Sizu was startled by this scene "What- What are you doing?"

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to take her to the hospital." He said in a calm voice and strolled towards the exit without letting her speak.

Sizu was even extremely astonish. How could he help someone who just slapped in front of everyone? but it wasn't time to be surprised. After all, Melissa came first.

Sizu then left with him towards the exit and glance around her.

More than five people with huge body shape , who were wearing black glasses and suit... started to gather around that black suit guy. Any idiots could tell that they were athletic bodyguards.

Those people who were looking Melissa and that gentleman, were feeling like they were watching some kind of romantic movie.

The guy in black suit was really handsome like prince charming and so was Melissa, she was like a fairy princess. The scene was like, A prince carrying her princess, many people were even clicking their photo with excitement.

Sizu didn't had any chance to take a glimpse of his face, who was really apprehensive about Melissa.

He went towards the car, and one of the bodyguards opened the door of the back sit respectfully.

Sizu's eyes widen and her jaw dropped down looking at the car before her eyes which wasn't ordinary, it was luxurious which cost nearly around 200 million.

A thought crossed her mind "If only, I had this luxurious car, I would have sold and didn't had to worry about work, money, rent, anything... for many years."

When the guy in black suit put Melissa in the back seat gently, he called sizu "Aren't you her friend? Come and help her."

This time, Sizu clearly saw his face, he was really damn handsome, like a famous celebrity, his sexy lip which can make any woman horny, his phoenix eye where every people want to sink deeply... he was clearly an idol for people.

~How could anyone be so handsome?~ Sizu wondered in her mind feeling familiar ~But... why do I feel like... I know him... Is he- No! No! No! It's not possible.~

"Hey! Aren't you coming?" The black suit guy again asked to Sizu.

Sizu nodded her head twice "Of course! Of course! I'm coming."

She walked forward glancing at his delicate and handsome face and she suddenly recall the scene between him and Melissa.

"I'm extremely sorry." She apologized to him.

"Sorry? Why?" He was confused "Well... let it be. Get in the car, fast!"

Sizu nodded her head and get in the car quickly. She put Melissa's head on her lap and hold her tightly yet gently so she won't fall "Okay, let's go... now."

The black suit guy sit in the passenger seat and his driver drove the car very fast.

Within fifteen-minute, the car reach the regular hospital where Melissa always get treated.

Melissa was taken inside the hospital by again him holding her on his arm like a prince.

Nurse came and took her for check up in emergency room immediately.

Sizu came forward "Thank you for your kind help, if it weren't for you then...."

"It's not a problem, after all at some point it was my fault." He said as he glanced at the door where Melissa was being taken. The corner of his lips slightly curved up but it disappeared within another second.

"I'm sorry from her side for slapping you." Sizu apologise to him again by lowering her head.

"It's not a problem. Well... I'll get going now." He walked out of the hospital shortly.

After waiting outside the emergency room, the doctor finally came out. Sizu hastily asked "Doctor... How is her condition now? Is she alright? Nothing is wrong right?"

The doctor took off his mask revealing worried complexion which made Sizu upset and anxious.

"W-W-What happened doctor?"
