CHAPTER ONE

Heaven's Pov

I ran as fast as my legs could carry through the woods, flapping through sharp thorns and piercing my delicate skin in the process.

I cared less about the pain on my skin and my sore leg as long as I fled from this disastrous pack.

A large hand covered my mouth while the other wrapped my waist and we both tumbled on the floor making me scream in fear and defeat.

"Calista!" I gasped in shock halting on my track and searched around to be sure no one was around the woods.

"What are you doing here!"

"Have you gone nuts Heaven? Why will you flee from your supposed mate? He's the fucking moon King, you idiot." She yelled at me with tears sheening her eyes.

"He's not!! I refuse to believe that, Alpha Ley is my mate."

"Stop spewing rubbish and come back home, Dad is going crazy over there and your mate seems impatient."

"Stop it Calista! You know Dad is selling me off, don't you? You know he's doing that because he thinks I'm useless and he feels that he could find a little worth by selling me to a blizzard blind Moon king!! It's over my dead body." I screamed in pain and cursed.

Calista had the fastest wolf, so it's no surprise she was able to find me in a twinkle.

She was the only sister who didn't see me as useless and forbidden as everyone claimed.

My life had been a living hell since birth and I hated why I was being called heaven when I had seen nothing short of that but hell.

The Athens pack, my pack, was the most powerful one to ever exist and they were tagged as a legend but I became quite famous when I was born without a wolf or any powers to replace the wolf.

I was born as a human!!

How can nature be cruel to me?

My dad despised me and rumors had it that I had killed my mum during birth, I was castrated and always desolate. I was tagged useless but was useful in chores and tough jobs meant for the guys.

I saw shifters who flaunt their wolf and run into the new moon.

I couldn't count how many times my brothers had lashed out at me for joining any event or eating from their plates.

Was it being clumsy and getting starved for days?

For years, Life had been cruel even though Calista had shown me love and encouragement. She lets me follow her on their patrol missions and when she wants to shift. It was always a thrilling sight for me but I didn't possess any of that.

I turned eighteen today and my father couldn't even wait for a second to tick before agreeing to sell me off to a blind Prince.

"He might treat you right, you can never tell, A Prince will always be a king."

"Let me be Calista, I'm not going back...tell Alpha Ley to meet me in the white Crystal Pack."

"Alpha Ley is not your mate!" Calista growled and I saw her eyes flicker with anger.

Alpha Ley was the leader of the Athens Pack, he was the youngest to take over since his father died of an inflicted disease from an unknown source.

He was like a forbidden fruit I would never bite but when he announced me as his mate, I was dazed.

No, the whole of Athens Pack was in a haywire as their Alpha chose a useless Luna.

I wasn't even up to the right age to be announced as a mate.

But he cared less and always sent for me, giving me a sinful stare that made me think naughty, always telling me how unripe I am.

I liked him a lot and couldn't wait for him to come over but it seems my dad had other plans.

"Alpha Ley is my..."

"Stop daydreaming Heaven and let's head back home. You know Dad when he gets angry, he might whip you by the fire this time around before releasing you to your husband."

"Calista, please let me be. I don't want to be bound by a blind prince I know nothing of, I don't want to go back to that house. Period!!"

I said I took to my heels but Calista stood before me in a flash.

"I will take you home even if I have to gather the whole pack of Athens right now by calling their wolves out. Before you even step an inch they will eat you raw." My eyes widened at her statement and tears blinded my vision while she continued.

"I will never let you take Alpha Ley from me, Heaven, he's mine "

She said and I gave a painful laugh, so all this was about Alpha Ley.

"Fine, take him." I moved to run but I saw a hundred pairs of red eyes staring at me.

Their eyes were so bright that fear pricked my skin.

"Fuck you Calista!!" I cursed when I discovered she didn't come alone.

"Move Heaven." She commanded and I wished to have any superpower that would make me fly from these demons or even for a wolf so that I could run endlessly without getting tired.

I couldn't outrun those Wolves except I was asking for a death wish, I wailed in pain as Calista dragged me to my curse. My pack and my father's home.

"Good job Calista." My Dad's deadly voice could be heard as I was made to kneel, bound in shackles, and bend my head very low.

The burning fire in the middle cackled as if sensing my pain and going up in flames.

My whole body was dragged like a ragged doll on the floor to meet the most beautiful pair of moon eyes glistening through the effect of the fire.

Princesses don't flee, they walk with pride."

"I'm not your princess" I spat out earning a slap from one of his men and I recoiled in torment.

"Then, at that point, be my slave."

He said not even sparing a glance as he stared nonchalantly at nothing.

" You will never be my Alpha" I spat and I saw him grin.

"Copy that my princess"

"How can one be this cocky despite being blind, does it run in your pupil or did you inherit it?" I was irritated at his response.

"I should ask the same of a useless mate like you, your words are too sharp."

"I'm not useless!!" I yelled but he chuckled.

"I don't like to see my princess cry."

"Don't you fucking call me that?"

"Manners Heaven!!" My dad yelled at him and I gave him a scornful look.

"I know I don't have my wolf powers but why this? A blind Alpha, gosh!! Can he even walk on his own? Do you hate me that much!!" I wept bitterly at my fate.

"You're going to be one hell of a trouble Mate, My men have zero tolerance for insults.

Why not shut the fuck up so you won't get killed before you reach the new pack."

"You're in no position to tell me what to do! Why me of all people, just why?"

"Because a fragile little thing like you will be more interesting for my beating skills, especially when they appear feisty."

He said not looking in my direction and I snared.

"Which planet did you arrive from to talk this mannerlessly?"

"I'm a Prince dummy, I'm from the planet of kings ..you seriously need to get used to it."

"To hell with you as my mate and Prince, just fucking go and leave me," I screamed in anger.

"Too bad I'll be in Heaven with you, just shut up Princess."

He stood up and my dad made a gesture to shake him but he walked past him with his long golden robes sweeping the floor and surveying the whole place as if he wanted to buy it.

"Mark this territory," he said staring blankly at no one and continued.

"If they ever try to look for my Princess around my pack, make sure to burn this whole burn pack down."

The two men standing like statues bowed and dragged me up.

I stared at Calista who gave a sharp gasp, I guess she was the only affected person as I saw tears trickle down her face.

To hell with those crocodile tears.

She fucking betrayed me because of Ley and now I'm bound to this strange pompous creature.

The two men dragged me without warning and waited Until their so-called prince left before following suit.

We've been walking for hours and my back ached with my sore feet seeking comfort.

How can a prince walk without a convoy and chariots, or at least a horse?

Who the hell does that!!

"I do." He halted in his tracks and his men stopped.

I almost slapped myself for saying that aloud.

He took slow steps towards me and stood before me without staring at me and glancing in my direction.

"You have a problem with that?"

I sighed at how arrogant one can be despite being blind.

He was so tall and graceful with sharp jaws and a pointed nose that aligned his face.

He was stoutly built and lean even with the long robes which did justice to hide his body.

I trembled at his voice and cowered in fear.

He bent low and tucked in my blonde hair, still not staring at me, making me shiver.

"You shouldn't walk as a prince, except you're a liar."

I blurted out before realizing what I said.

"Your mouth is too sharp for a useless Luna like you, I will make sure you don't see the light until you learn how to speak properly like the princess you are."

CHAPTER 2

Heaven.

After walking tirelessly for hours and fighting off wild animals and wolves that obstructed their journey, We settled at the peak of another pack.

It was a small town with a valley of flowers and few trees. The people there bowed respectfully as they saw the prince, while they paved the way for them.

The prince has instructed them to take a break after glancing at them and sensing how worked out I look.

We arrived at a large hut saturated with local french designs on the wall and a pot of fire standing at each side of the entrance.

"Is this your home?" I asked in utter disgust as Ilooked around and followed them inside.

"Are you mesmerized already?" I snort at his words.

"Athens' pack is far better, beautiful, and bigger than this shabby place you call home."

"But you appeared to be the weakest and most abused in the whole of Athens. You were more like trash and your presence was more like an abomination if I'm not wrong."

I swallowed dryly and his words pierced my heart. He was right so I just bit my lips and kept quiet.

"You're extremely annoying?"

"The feeling is mutual Princess."

I kept cursing with disgust when his deep voice ran through the room.

"Get her something to eat, she's the weakest amongst us. I doubt she will survive without food for the next three days before reaching The Moon Pack."

He said not to break his gaze from the wall while his men bowed and left.

"Moon Pack? Is that the name of your pack?"

I asked curiously because I've heard of something like that before.

"Will you just keep quiet for a second!! It would save you a lot of strength." He yelled.

"Is it like the Moon in question or like a planet cause you seriously don't fit in such a place"

"Wait!!" He ordered and they halted.

"Seal her lips and bound her in shackles, I need peace." He said and I gasped at him.

"What sort of Prince bound his princess in shackles huh? Where are we going after here and where the hell is moon Pa..." I was dragged roughly to the ground.

"I'm seriously restraining myself from hurting you, I'm really out of control when it comes to blood. So don't fucking tempt me!"

My mouth was sealed with duct tape as I muffled incoherent words while the men left to get some food.

His men came back with the food a few minutes later but judging from how silent I had been, I seemed dead asleep.

"Leave her, when she wakes, she will eat."

He said but he was startled and he heard me struggle through the shackles and give out muffled breaths.

"That brat, untie her."

He commanded and I sighed in utter relief and dug into the meal.

"You should never tie a lady! Never, it's disrespectful and outrageous and you claim to be a Prince!!" I yelled at him, stuffing food in my mouth and staring daggers at the men who glared at me.

Can't nothing piss these people off? I just want to go!

"A lady should have manners instilled in her, it's so obvious you let your weak self get into such ridiculous behavior, As useless as your character!" He slammed and all the rage built up in me.

I kicked the food hard making it splash all over his face and attire and he cursed.

"Fuck you, Blind Prince!!" I yelled and his men couldn't just watch.

A heavy slap was sent across my face and I screamed.

"I would kill you before we're out of here!? Who the hell are you?" He thundered and I smirked.

I finally pissed him off.

I had been observing him in silence and wondered what type of a prince he is.

He looked distant in his world almost as if only his body was here but his spirit had gone off.

How can a beautiful Prince with godly features be blind?

His thick dark hair covered one side of his eyes while the other was exposed right beneath his lashes.

Those eyes...

They sparkled like crystal and his pointed nose was like a carved and well-designed sculpture.

Those sinful pink lips were plain and thin, seeking attention and I got so irritated that he was diverting my attention.

"I'm a nightmare. You don't want to cross paths with me if you don't release me and leave me alone." I threatened.

"Get me water, dammit!" He told his men who released me and rushed out.

His long robes were soiled and his beautiful face was a mess but I cared less.

"You should be grateful for two things, Princess. One, I'm blind.

Two, I need you.'

I gasped in horror.

"Who the hell needs a weak mate, which Prince does that?"

"You will be surprised at the things I do Princess. If I had possessed those traits I mentioned earlier, I would have taken a look at how your age looks and gouged your eyes out. I would have pieces of your lips so you won't have a single strength to even out your tongue to talk.

I would have made you more interesting than now, A refined weak useless piece of existence"

He said and I couldn't help the tears that sheen in my eyes.

His men came over and he washed his face with grace as if it was the first time he was doing that.

"Get her another food, I still need her alive for a lot of reasons."

"I lost my appetite, fuck off with your food."

"Go!" He told them and they left but not without binding me in those shackles again.

They came back and the atmosphere became less tense.

I looked around the small hut and noticed how neat it was.

A small bed lay neatly by the side of the window with a mini Persian rug in the middle giving it an aesthetic view.

There's a flower vase by the corners of the room and a big green candlelight attached to the wall in the middle of the room.

I sighed as sleep took over my eyelids after glancing at the stone king who sat on the floor gracefully and faced the wall without moving an inch.

A wolf snared its ugly sharp teeth at me with bright eyes devouring.

I wanted to scream and run but I was bound with shackles and my mouth shut with tape.

It kept coming closer to me and my heart wished for nothing but freed from these shackles and tape.

As if I was granted answers to the wishes, the shackles on my wrists broke and flew out from my mouth causing me to wince with pain from the sharp contact of my skin.

Without warning I sprawled on my feet and took to my heels, running away from the wolf but the blind wolf took another direction and walked slowly to its circle.

I woke up from such a dreadful nightmare wondering what it meant.

It was pitch dark and quiet and the statue prince was still there in his position.

I stared down at my hands and gasped in total shock.

The shackles were broken and the tape was right there on the ground!

What the fuck is this?

Am I hallucinating or what? Was I connected to my dream? Was this a message that I should flee?

Myriad thoughts flooded through me like a storm and I sprang to my feet and removed the shackle carefully knowing that that stature might not be blind.

His men were fast asleep and I took that advantage and took to my heels, running through the strange land as far as I could.

CHAPTER 3

Sebastian.

I roared at them and told them to find her, anywhere and everywhere on the whole planet.

That little wench!

How dare she escape from me? Not even the strongest wolf could take a step from me without sensing its movement.

When did I become so weak that I didn't sense her leaving?

Wait a minute! She was bound in a shackle, how the hell did she just...

I Stood up and went out at once. She wasn't only a sharp tongue but also feisty.

I sensed the moon going down for the sun to take over, it would soon dawn and we needed to leave here for the moon pack.

Normally it would take just a day to reach the moon pack with my wolf.

He itched to be set free so he could run and stretch himself but I couldn't allow that.

My new mate was weak and didn't possess a wolf, so they had to do it manually.

Walking for days until they reach the pack.

"My Prince, you shouldn't be here please...get inside, we'll bring her to you at once." One of them said but he growled.

"What were you careless wolves doing when she escaped huh?"

They cowered in fear and bowed, apologizing deeply.

"I'll make sure to have your heads roll on the floor if I don't see her before sunrise."

Before I could even finish his statement, they fled.

I tried to summon my moon powers to locate Heaven but it was useless. The moon had gone into hiding and the sun might burn me if I forced it.

I sighed in frustration as this was one of the times I wished for my sight.

I could have walked and run to look for that stubborn mate of mine using my sense of smell.

I must find her or I will be doomed.

Without thinking and damning the consequences, I removed my long robes and hit the little town blindly hoping to get a hint of where she was.

I walked for hours without anyone's aid, anyone who saw me thought I was lost as they bowed till I was out of sight.

I walked towards the direction of whatever I was feeling and sensed even if I was to go through a tunnel.

My men had searched for hours without having a hint on where my mate went Into, they met with me walking blindly with purposeful steps.

Without beating a word, they followed suit and took my Lead.

My heart wrenched as I felt the power emanating and leading my feet and her scent was getting stronger.

Not minding the sharp thorns that pierced my flawless skin carelessly, I walked through them hastily until he stopped abruptly.

It hit my nostrils so heavily that I took my left and walked farther until we reached a gate.

I knew his men were following and commanded them to pull the gates down.

My men dutifully obeyed and used their swords to destroy the shaky wooden constructed gate to the ground.

Everybody became alert as they all stood up to attack. An intruder had entered and all the rogue gritted their teeth in anger and moved to attack me.

I grinned as I felt their heavy steps and waited for them to come closer, I sensed two of them coming to attack at once with a sword but dodged by bending and making their head collide,using the opportunity to carry them both to smash them to one of the cages.

I felt another on my back but I whipped and scratched him with his fangs throwing him to the direction that made my eyes blazed inferno red.

My men fought and killed the rogue like cats but felt my anger and turned to this particular direction.

I felt Heaven's scent and walked closer and closer.

I sensed her sweet blood and her pain, I held the pillars and felt some ropes and with one swift he broke it.

"Are you okay Princess."

Heaven was too shocked to answer,it was as if I came just at the right time to take her out from this venomous creatures. She was so scared that she threw herself on me and cried,hugging me

Damn!

I stilled and reeled at her sudden reaction,rage still cursing through me.

I wondered what they did to her to make her feel this scared but what baffled me more was how she got out of the shackles.

"Are you hurt?" I asked rubbing her back to coax her.

"How did you find me?" She asked me calmly and i scoffed.

"You couldn't have gone far despite your stubborn spirit running through you,what the heck is wrong with you you weak creature?"

"You forced me to leave,blind prince so don't you dare preach to me."

"Seriously? You deserve more than a burning furnace right now for a lesson."

I will definitely deal with her seriously for fleeing but my senses seemed to have flown at just the sound of her mere voice.

I was a little paranoid that she was killed and everything would have shattered,my brothers would have rejoiced and mocked me for taking over the throne.

The fighting continued until a stout tall figure came over and gave a sharp command.

All the rogues stilled and stopped their attack bowing at the presence of their king.

Heaven was surprised at how breathtaking their leader looked like while his subjects looked like an incarnate of hell.

He came closer until he was closer to them and heaven could feel my tensed self.

I backed him and didn't break off the hug.

She cowered with fear and stared down not wanting to meet those pairs of gold eyes.

"You didn't have to create a mess,Prince."

He spurted, obviously pissed at the fact that his men were seriously injured and killed.

"They didn't have to capture her." I said still hugging and backing him. Heaven wanted to disentangle from the hug as she felt really uncomfortable staring at this rouge king but my grip on her was firm.

"I would only seal this because it's you, Prince Sebastian. Just warn your mate to stay clear from my men or you won't be fast enough again to see her."

"And you won't have a heart to breathe and talk to me ever again,cause it would be ripped into pieces if a hair on her skin is touched.."

"Possessive much? You should be in your kingdom. Why are you frolicking around with your current state?"

"It's none of your business."

"You're the crowned prince of Moon Pack, totally blind without direction exception of your immense powers. Why won't it be my business when you trespassed in the wrong direction?"

"You should be worried about this shabby hideout and what I can do next if you ever cross my path again."

The rogue rolled his eyes and stared at Heaven who clung and buried herself tightly into My shoulder.

"She's not a werewolf and she isn't human."

"That's my headache,get the fuck out my way." He commanded and he gently but grudgingly paved the way gritting his teeth.

I held Heaven's hands as if I knew the way to the gate which surprised heaven.

I was blind but I could feel,sense and be alert.

We walked down the familiar path to that little beautiful town as we passed and went further.

"Thank you!" She said breathlessly following me while my men followed suit.

"For saving me back there" She was so exhausted but I gave her a hot slap instantly and she reeled in shock, holding her palms in pain.

"What the actual heck?" She screamed.

"Don't thank me Princess,cause the next time you flee from me; I'll look for you and kill you there."
