The trip took place in the wake of the accident in the town. The wind blows everywhere, and rain can come in at any time. She woke up the next day and it was raining, she ran in for a short while to get home. When she was released, she went to their front door and her body began to shake. The door slammed shut and her dress torn on the accord. It was a woman who opened the door, she did not start talking or give her a room to pass. The woman then released the girl and gave her a look that was demeaning to her.
"Girl, do you have a chance to come back now? I sent you a long time ago and you decided to come back the time you feel like." "I'm sorry mother, it's lack of change that has stopped me" she said in her low voice. "Shut up, that's what you can do. Come on, go ahead and do the right thing." Entering the room, she clashed with Anna "And what is this? Can't you see where you're going?" "Sorry Anna. I didn't see you coming." "Better watch your front next time," she said as her middle finger swayed as she had an earpiece in her ear. Another look followed her. She went ahead to the kitchen and started planning a daytime cooking of pasta and sauce. She placed the pot and began her work. "Will you cook for us today too?" She is a girl who is not beyond the reach of Emily. Emily is light, tall and straight unlike Ruby whose height will be the same but Emily is chubbier than her. "Hey Ruby. Now I put the pot on the water I'm waiting for it to boil." Emily ushered noticing Ruby that walked in the kitchen. "Oh, last time I offered to help but you refused" Emily was quick in interrupting her. "If mother sees you, you and I both know the consequences" Ruby reacted her. "Well, what if she sees that we're all in a trance, just clear up?" After Emily and Ruby finished cooking, they each poured on their own plate and then went to the living room. "Ruby, what are you doing in the kitchen today?" This is their mother whom they call Aunty at times asked. "I was helping Emily" Ruby answered shortly. "So what do you have to do with her work?" Anna interjected who is struggling to press her phone. "How could Emily give us such food. She should not be given such a thing at home -" she finished her sentence with a smirk on her face. Quickly Emily lifted herself up. "I know you are very careful. Avoid getting into trouble." "Mother because I'm telling the truth, you are getting angry at me?" Ruby burst into tears. "I'm sorry Anty, this will never happen again" Emily said in a loud voice trying to hold on to her cry. "You're a real spit fire and that's exactly what I like about you!" The woman exclaimed passing Emily a hateful glare. "I told Daniel in the beginning that he should not take you in, but he was so concern that your parents are no more. As if we don't have a problem of our own" If there is one thing that Emily hates, is when her parents are being talked about i. So the woman doesn't know death is for everyone. Everyone has their own time of death. "Mother, you are also talking nonsense. She has risen to her position in this house. She does not even think it is not her father's house." According to Amelia who is now speaking for the first time. They kept hurling insults at her, which did not bother her because she's e used to hearing them morning, afternoon and night. Her room was made up of one single room with a mattress and her luggage on one side. A frustrated sigh visited her heart, the bitterness and resentment of them resulted in her. ** "Seriously mother if you don't do what you can, this girl will tame Ruby. Did you see how Ruby looks into your eyes and say all those things" Anna said, her face flushed with anger. "Hmm ... I'm also surprised that the girl I gave birth to looked into my eyes and say all those things. That she is saying the right thing." "All this is Daniel's fault. He's the one tying her up" "We are living in peace. Daniel has caused us a lot of trouble, and when he comes back, he will start looking for me. No matter what," said the mother. "I will have to deal with the situation before it gets worse." She ushered her eyes dancing towards the window. ** It is a car driving on the street at high speed, where the ground is hitting the race. It had to be right on the line and the car was slowing down. The window was closed up and you could not see who was inside. Her head was covered with a hair extension except for a small scarf she was wearing. "I had a great night" the man said holding her hand. A small smile made its way out of her lips. "So?" He said again hoping she would grab where his words are heading to. "Yes, hope we meet again or not?" "Don't worry about that. As far as you will keep to your promises." A wide grin broke out his lips. "Consider it done" ** At about five o'clock in the morning, Emily got up. She set out to start her morning work. She placed her hand on the doorknob finding it locked. She re-twisted it again, still. She wondered if there was a problem with the door. The sudden sound from the door made her snapped out of the reverie. "And what are you doing standing up and staring at me" The woman said, interrupting Emily from her thoughts. The quake itself seemed to have nothing to do with it. "Good morning Aunty" she said softly. "Only when you have finished watching me will you see me. And if my morning isn't good will you see me" Emily tried to keep a calm face. It's too early to create a scene. "I'm sorry I didn't mean that" she replied. "No matter what you mean. Just finish doing my house chores for me" before she reply back, the woman parted her side and walked past her. Emily wasted no time in dwelling on the woman's words. In less than an hour and a half she completed all of her chores that include cleaning, sweeping, washing . Then it was left the rooms of Ruby, Anna and Amelia. And if she tries to wake them up, she will find trouble for herself. That's why she left them to wake up and make adjustments according to their own taste.
Breakthrough 2 She was engrossed in her work in the kitchen when Ruby walked in. "Good morning Emily. I told you to wait for me. You know you will be my teacher" Emily only turned around but did not answer. "I think if I wait for you there will be a hell lot of work for me by now. And you know yourself when Aunty sees you don't even mention my name" Ruby looked at her in thinking before releasing another smile. "Don't worry, I'll keep It a secret if you don't know and Sister Anna and Amelia are not here to see us." "You don't get it Ruby, I just don't want problem.
And we've been talking about weekends. When are you starting school?" Amelia the eldest, has a diploma in fashion designing while Anna is in her final year at the University, and Ruby is almost done with high school. Emily, a high school graduate. Daniel, her uncle as she calls him, promised to get her into a university. She's hoping to see the day it happens. "Come on Emily, you are afraid. nothing will happen. Knowing what mother is doing is not good for you, it is just a matter of time." ** It was a big house that answered its name. Horn of the car keep blaring in front of the house. Within minutes, the huge gate was opened. And the car drove in "I always sound the horn and you open the gate. After you're done wasting my time," said the person in the car. "I'm sorry, little dad," said the young man. The man in talk did not say a word, instead went on to park the car. Young and old. He is light but not very bright. His beard lay black on his face. His one hand was wrapped in his pocket, the other carrying a briefcase. It was a large living room decorated with ornaments. Everything in it was in milk and light brown. The chairs are of royal couch. The man crashed beside a woman sitting in a two-sitter. "I'm back mom" was the first thing that came out of his mouth. Holding the newspaper in her hand she turned her attention to the young man. "Welcome back Zion how was your trip?" She said with a smile on her face "It was fine Mom. I missed you so much" he said side hugging her. She let out a smile that made her look even more beautiful. "I missed you too. Your Dad too" He opened his mouth to speak when she interrupts him. "Go and freshen up first and then eat your dinner" he nodded politely. Pecking her lightly and then made his way up the stairs. ** It was quarter past three when Emily got ready to study. There is a hall in the doorway of their house where her friend's Uncle is teaching them some few lessons. A quarter of Chloe house was less than five minutes away. Usually she is a little nervous when she hears Emily silent. Emily herself praised her friend because if she had been her they would not have seen each other for weeks or months due to lack of time and energy. She grabbed her lesson books from a small drawer in her room and wrapped around a scarf to her hair due to the windy weather and made her way to the living room. There she finds her Aunt with her two children. Anne and Amelia. Where as Anne is stuck on one side pressing on her phone as usual. While Amelia eyes were fixated on the TV. She straightened her body and started walking towards the door. "I'll be back" was what she said without looking at them again. But she knows they will not leave her at that. It was time to start talking. "It's just like the righteous one, but it 's something else" The harsh and the bitter words they used to say to her did not bother her even though it strikes her. Yet, she's used to it. All the words come to her mind but she suppresses them. One day it will be a tale to tell. "Good morning Sir" Emily greeted the man respectfully. "Morning Emily. How are you doing?" he replied cheerfully. She smiled and passed greetings to Chloe who showed her greetings to her. "Shall we?" Each of them adjusted their seating position and began the lesson. After they're done, they thanked him and ventured on their way home. "I see Emily you are a good girl. It seems like our house is close by, but you don't even visit me unless we come for our lesson or we meet on the road" Chloe said with much hurt. Emily could only smile because she was the only one that knows the reason. Emily and Chloe's friendship was coming to five month after Emily's Uncle brought her to the house six months ago. But their friendship was very close with Chloe. "I will surprise you one day" Emily answered. Chloe passed her a playful glare. "Really" she shook her head not believing her ears. "Absolutely." "Alright then I would be waiting for the day you would surprise me" Just then they came to the door of Emily's house "Sure. Okay bye. See you later". "Either say tomorrow" Chloe replied. Even when she enters the house, the way she left Anna and the Aunt was the way she saw them. But then the food was planted in front of them which is a surprise to Emily. She knew neither Anna or Amelia cook or much to say the kind of food they're eating at that moment, is not the type they can afford. Entering her room, she put away her reading material and began to prepare for their dinner. Their diet is limited to rice or pasta. The Aunt's husband spends all his money on groceries, but the woman spends the money on other things. A country where there is no harm to her or her children. Already there was left over sauce so she won't have to make it from scratch. With the gas turned on, she placed the pot with water in equal proportions. Then she goes back to other work before the water gets hot. Her attention was completely focused on the pasta she was fixing. Unbeknownst to her, she heard a sound afterward. With a sigh she straightened up and looked at the Aunt who was looking at her.
"Exhaust my gas you hear me!" Emily opened her mouth in confusion. "Aunt, I-" "Shut up there. That is because you are not the one refilling it with your money." Her eyes were fixed on the gas where the pot was dancing and the fire was burning until the pot started to turn black. She quickly reduced the speed of the fire. "I'm sorry Aunt, I'm not wasting the gas" "Well, I know you. You're just kidding. Doing a little work makes you upset people." Giving the woman answer will only make it worse. "But Aunt, I'm trying. All the work you gave me, I always do them I don't turn away from you.
For the hot water I do not want to upset you." She turned her gaze to the woman. If looks could kill, she would already be dead with the look the woman was giving her. Strange how it all happened, she felt like she was being torn apart by an electric shock. With both her hands she held her head which she immediately snatched away. In a few seconds she no longer knew where she was. ** The wind blew and he spread his legs over the center table in front of him. His eyes were fixed on the laptop screen in front of him and he was looking around. Next to him are his cell phones. His two phones which are always with him in case of emergency. It's as if it's waiting, one of the phones picked up with ringing. He's not using the phone a lot lately. It might be a call from work since he is using it for office purpose and seeing the time almost evening the call must be important. He placed it to his ear. "Doctor Zion speaking" That was the first thing he said in a low voice. His attention was focused on the phone ringing spoken on the other side. "Is Doctor Noah not there?" "Okay will be on my way. Attend to the patient before I arrive" he did not wait for the answer and hung up. He took his laptop and phone and made his way to the part where he walk a short distance to his mom. Before he left he catches his Mom's voice. "Where are you going this fast Zion?" His shoes wore loose and unresponsive. "Mom, a patient was brought in and doctor Noah is not in. Will be back later." "God bless you and keep the patient safe." "Bye" he replied pecking her on the cheeks and then left. Mom followed behind and watched him drive away. Her son is trying very hard. Her prayers further is to protect him from all evil. The tears welled up in her eyes as she wiped them away. She did not want to think about the past but on a regular basis it came to her.
Even when he arrived at the hospital, he did not go any further than his office where he met the Nurse and was on his way back and forth. His presence made her rushed towards him. "Sir," she said. "The patient?" Doctor Zion asked. "We've attended to the patient. But now the bleeding has not stopped." He unbuttoned his white coat and headed for the ward. Seeing the patient's condition proves that surgery is the best solution because the whole room is covered in blood. The patient was taken to the ICU. It was then that Doctor Zion began performing the surgery to save the patient's life. It took almost two hours for surgery. The person is losing a lot of blood due to the severe accident. Every believer, when he sees the patient his heart will clench. Neither do doctors are accustomed to seeing such cases and even more. After dressing the patient, he was transferred to the ward where he will continue to be cared for. "Have you informed his family?" Doctor Zion asked the nurse who was fixing drip to the man. "Yes sir. But I don't know if they will come today since they are living a little bit far from here." "Since they heard the news, I know they will come. Clear his bill. It will be taken care of." His body was completely paralyzed. In all the surgeries he did, It disturbed him. Completely empathetic. What if he doesn't succeed in saving his life? He undergoes a series of rehearsals in which he undergoes a series of surgeries. He opened the door and made his back. Doctor Noah in his office. Slowly Noah came in front of him, sitting on a one-sitter swivel chair in front of him. "The news is reaching me now. My phone was in silent mode" He said. Zion passed him a glare. "As a doctor, you know your phone should always be with you and in ring mode. If I follow you, and put my phone on silent. What will happen to the patient?" Noah was quite and let him finish speaking and let out a sigh of relief. He knew he's wrong. "Sorry boss, that won't happen again" "It's better not. I've done my part. You're going to take over from where I left off. The family has already been notified. His bills have been cleared so make sure he is given all the medication. I also have Nurse Martha explaining everything." He reached for his cell phone and car keys on his desk, then straightened up. "Where are you going again?" Noah asked as he too stretched out. "Do you want me to sit and be looking you?" He replied. As if Noah was waiting, his eyes met Zion's holding the doorknob. He let out a smile."Goodnight. Greetings home." "What if I refuse?" Zion collapsed giving him a horrible look. Noah's hand raised the sign of surrender. "Alright I'm done"
Zion did not ask him to leave the office. All of a sudden, they heard some noises. Right next door the man saw Nurse Martha and two other women. They are trying to push Martha away. In his slow pace he ended up in front of them so far they had not stopped making noise. "What's going on?" It was his words that made them all stop talking so loudly.
