Braided heart

Cherry speaking "I guess this is the first day I realized that I was born with a purpose when I discovered how life has been so precious to me, I heard about God a lot, from church, neighbors and friends and they described Him as the big man up there who sent His only son to die for us. But yet I hardly believe, thinking can that be true because they said he did a lot of miracles and has his armies that worked for him. These armies are called angels and they are the ones who are looking after us.

But this city is different from others because we felt somebody is watching us and keeping us safe, who are they' are but we think they are God's armies called the angels and this is our story "

Cherry walking down the street as she was observing someone walking behind her and she looked back but no one was there, she thought to herself if she was hallucinating? No, that is not possible because she has not been on drugs. she continues down the street towards her apartment as two guys drove to her side in a brown car trying to harass her but she did not reply a word and she started walking hastily while the first guy in the car said to her "hey pretty damsel, why are you walking around all by yourself at night? or do feel like going home with daddy?" Not even a word from cherry as she was scared thinking those guys may want to attack her or maybe even kidnap her, she continues to walk home as she did not reply with a word, the second guy in the car was a blonde hair guy and he said "hey baby, don't be scared, just come to daddy" when they got to a very isolated place, both of them looked at each other and was about to come out of the car to kidnap cherry, surprisingly, the engine of the car went off and the guys both looked at each other and one asked the other, "Stan, did you do that?" "No, I did not" replied the other blonde and everything got locked including the door and the light of the car went off and on, alarm of the car began to blare aloud. In the midst of the confusion, cherry took to her heels and fled. She got to the front of her apartment exhausted and gasping trying to get her breath. There comes her old neighbor Mrs Smith as she approached cherry and asked, "are you being chased? Or are you running a marathon race or something" cherry responded"two guys was about to kidnap me but something happened, I never knew how I got away from them" Mrs Smith who was an old woman in her late 60's replied, that is a miracle from heaven" cherry was confused while she did a hand gesture showing she doesn't understand what Mrs Smith said and she walked into her apartment.

Cherry entered and went straight to the fridge to take some drinks as she was drinking she heard a sound from the kitchen and went to check it out but couldn't find what happened but saw a spoon on the floor and picked it up, placed it in the right place. She budged and said to herself "this is strange". Cherry walked back to the living room and her phone rang, it was her best friend Bennett calling and she picked with a smile while she is also doing other things in the kitchen. Cherry began, "Hi Bennett" Voice from the phone "Cherryyyy, hey girl, what's up with you today" Bennett replied "am good, was stressed today, coupled with almost been kidnapped by some stranger today" "what? How did it happened?" Voice from the phone. Just wanted to grab something in town, happened when coming back home". Voice from the phone "Cherry, you need to be careful out there" sure I will, thanks, so, how is Mason?" Voice from the phone replied "he is good, will be going together to Elizabeth's party on Friday and also will you be going too?" Cherry replied, "no, I will pass on that" Bennett spoke with a worried voice, "come on what is wrong with you, you need to meet people out there so you won't get depressed" 'i am not depressed" said Cherry she walked into the kitchen while she was talking with Bennett on phone. Their conversation continues and she said "I just want to stay alone and think about my life" voice on the phone (Bennett) "I know you better and can't leave you by yourself, beside Elizabeth is our friend and not been there for her can be disappointing." "Okay, let's do this but I might not be fun filled today." Replied Cherry. She continues "alright, I will be waiting for you to come pick me up on Friday" voice on the phone (Bennett) continues"Okay, byeee and will be happy to see you " Cherry "Bye " and she ends the call, dropped the phone on the table as she looked towards the window and it is opened and she said, "this looks strange, I have not opened the window since I got in. Or did I forgot to lock it? No, I could remember that I locked it." Cherry looked around and thinking that maybe a thief might have entered. She said in fear"Oh my God" and she ran inside to check some of her goods and property, searching furiously for something missing but she paused a few minutes later and said to herself, "wait a minute, nothing is missing, what is happening to me?" She took courage to herself and said "maybe I think too much these days and she budged her shoulder and left to the sitting room to watch movie and she jumped on her three sitter chair and took the remote to put on the tv and she remembered that she hasn't eaten and she walked straight to the kitchen. When she entered, Cherry saw a disappearing image and was scared and she quickly took a knife and said "who is there, with a little bit of confidence while holding the knife in her hands and a voice from nowhere asked "can you see me?" She replied and said "who are you and what do you want from me?"

"I am Michael" the voice spoke and Cherry replied still holding the knife in her hands but a little bit scared "Michael, what do you want from me?" And again the voice replied and said "I am an Angel, mean your angel" Cherry with a confused face said "really, do Angels communicate with humans like this or you just want to do something bad to me?" "Your angel can't do something to hurt you, I am here to protect and guide you, but seeing that you can hear and see me, I don't know what is happening to me, because you or any human should not be seeing me" Replied angel Michaels.

At this point Cherry was a little bit relaxed knowing she could not be harmed and wanted to help as she gently dropped the knife in her hands on the kitchen table. Cherry asked "are you okay? Angels are not meant to be seen, why am I seeing you?" Michael responded, "you are special Cherry, so special Cherry that is why you could hear and see me" Cherry asked again "How am I special?" Michael replied again and said "Your conception was divine" "How?" Cherry asked again and then Michael responded "Your mother specially requested you from God and asked for God's protection and I am one of the special angels who are assigned to do so" Cherry at this point was so curious to know and see Michael clearly as she asked "Okay if I am so special, show yourself and let me see you." "I can't do that" Michael said and Cherry replied "Why can't you, since you said I am special," at this point both of them are little bit confused and trying to figure out how.

Friday Night

A loud car horn from outside Cherry's apartment it is Bennett and her boyfriend and here goes cherry in the her room dressing up for the party hastily and she was restless trying to get ready on time. She finished her preparation and rushed outside to waiting Bennett and her boyfriend. "Come on we are almost late for the party as she was about stepping down from the balcony of her apartment She heard a very cool and calm voice spoke to her saying "You look beautiful" then she paused a little and looked around and saw nobody then gently turned her neck back and around and asked softly"Michael is that you?" She did not get a reply and she wanted to say another word but another loud horn recalled her consciousness. Bennett called out again to her "what are you waiting for?" Then Cherry quickly rushed to join them in the car and they drove off.

Elizabeth must have been waiting for us and I don't want her to be down because today is her day and we must celebrate her" Cherry still quiet and did not utter a word as Bennett was still talking. Carl, Bennett's boyfriend whispering to Bennett while she was still talking to Cherry who hasn't replied since she has entered the car. "Your friend is not talking" then Bennett realized that Cherry hasn't replied and she felt a little bit confused not quite happy again and asked "Cherry, are you alright? Cherry, Cherry" saying it a little bit loud the second time, and she regained her consciousness, "Oh sorry was just a little bit stressed out today" Cherry said and Bennett asked again "You don't look well, do you?" Cherry replied "I am okay but just been thinking a lot lately" and Bennett advised her to keep her cool since they are almost at the party already.

In just few minutes after they talked, thier car arrived in front of Elizabeth's house. Elizabeth is the daughter of one of the prominent business man in the country, a billionaire who doesn't discriminate against the poor that is why her daughter is friend with Cherry and Bennett.

Carl, Bennett and Cherry came out of the car and walked into the house, Elizabeth has been waiting for them and she saw three of them entered the house and she rushed to them and when she got to them the three girls screamed with excitement and hugged themselves while Cherry was talking with excitement "Oh my God you look so great in your dress and looked amazingly beautiful" Bennett also complemented Elizabeth as she was hopping with excitement in front of Elizabeth and Hogged her saying with excitement "This dress is beautiful, I can't wait to have one for myself" Elizabeth pushed her head forward to whisper to both of them, "Josh got it for me" Cherry and Bennett wowed and they also screamed happily in excitement and hugged again.

As they were talking and music going on from the background, then There was a loud noise from outside and people were cheering which took the attention of the three girls towards the entrance where everyone is cheering "Jason! Jason!! Jason!!!" And Cherry, Bennett and Elizabeth ran to the entrance where the fun is taking place when they got there Cherry was shocked when he saw Jason as she opened her mouth then Elizabeth whispered to both Bennett and Cherry and said "That is Jason the son of the famous billionaire Adam Benjamin" and Cherry in perplexed mode said "oh my goodness, he is super handsome" as she was still in the surprise mode, then Jason looked at his left where the three girls was standing and he saw them but noticed Cherry the more and he was stunned seeing her. Elizabeth with excitement rushed to Jason and hugged him they were both happy meeting each other and Jason responded first, "Oh my God, you look bigger and prettier than last time we met" Elizabeth replied "Oh yeah you could say that again" Elizabeth held Jason by his hand to introduce him to her friends very nervous as she does the introduction. "This are my friends, Bennett and Cherry, Cherry and Bennett meet my childhood friend Jason", Jason shook both of them and stared at Cherry and said "it seems I like you," Cherry was shocked with a dumbfounded look.

I think I like you was the statement made by Jason to Cherry and this made everyone in room go silent and also the music like a grave yard with a stern look even Cherry was so surprised that her eyes was wide open as if they are going to jump out of her face. No one could utter a word at that moment for like thirty seconds but the silence was broken with a great uproar from the crowd in the house, everyone was happy except guy at the back of the crowd, he isn't happy because he wanted to go out with Cherry also.

It was an happy moments everyone and also Elizabeth and Bennett was super happy, Cherry just dragged Elizabeth and said "I want to use the restroom" they both went to the restroom while Bennett followed them.

The three girls got to the restroom and Cherry froze for a while and asked Elizabeth "What just happened outside there?" Elizabeth was a little bit confused as she said "what?" Bennett quickly intervened "No no no, babe he likes you and we are happy for you" Cherry with her eyes opened wide again and said "seeing me for the first time and he liked me and not just that he said it in front of everyone, who does that?1⁰ let me give you a hug," Cherry moved close to Elizabeth and hugged her with a little bit of happy tears in her eyes. Elizabeth whispered into her ears and said babe, you will be fine, I will be here when you need anything from me. Then Bennett joined the two of them and both three of them hugged themselves and they all both laughed.

Jason was sitting at a corner of the sitting room where the party is going on with a bottle of drink in his hand and a blonde approached him and sat beside him and said "You loved her seeing her for the first time, does that really exist?" Jason quickly replied "yeah I do, wait a minute who are you?" With a grin on his face he replied "Danny, Danny Ackles a friend to Cherry. Congratulations to you" and Jason responded "Oh, I am Jason" they both shook hand and Danny left.

Party Ends

Cherry, Elizabeth and Bennett were saying thier goodbyes and hugging each other as they were about to leave for thier houses, Jason came and interrupted thier discussion while Bennett and Elizabeth walked out on both Jason and Cherry, Both kept on staring at each other for some few seconds while Jason broke the silence "Hi we did not have a proper introduction earlier, sorry for that " Cherry quickly replied with a little bit of stammering"it ...it...it .... Nothing, just I never expected that." "Alright, I am Jason" he introduced himself to Cherry and Cherry did same "am Cherry" both of them were deeply staring at each other, and Jason was slowly moving close to Cherry as she interrupted the moment, and she said "I have to go, my friends are waiting for me" she was about to leave as Jason said "what about dinner tomorrow?" "Are you asking out? will be busy tomorrow" Cherry quickly responded but Jason did not hold back as he said "Sunday?" Cherry noded and they both turned started going to thier different directions, Cherry running to her friends while smiling and happy Jason walking majestically to his car both smiling.

Cherry got to her friends while they were eager to hear what thier conversation was, as she got there, Elizabeth asked "what did he say," with excitement and Cherry replied that "he asked me for a dinner" and they all hugged themselves again. Cherry, Bennett and Carl left in Carl's Carl waving at Elizabeth as after celebration of Elizabeth's birthday which was fun filled and eventful.

They got to Cherry's apartment and dropped she was about to walk into her apartment why Bennett called, and she left the car and ran towards Cherry, hugged her and whispered into her ears and said "you made me proud" she left her and back to the car where Carl was waiting and Carl shouted too to Cherry and say "do have a beautiful night" they drove off.

Cherry got to the door and brought out her keys, her neighbor Mrs Smith came out to welcome her as she asked "hope you really enjoyed your day" Cherry replied "Absolutely Mrs Smith and you" Mrs Smith responded "sure am getting older for that" "good night Mrs Smith," Cherry affirmed, while Mrs Smith responded"good night and have a beautiful dream" they both entered thier apartment.

She entered her room "You loved him?" And immediately Cherry was shocked with fear and she remembered it was Michael and she recovered and told him "you scared me" then Michael apologized "sorry I don't mean to scare you off thought you could still remember you can hear me" Cherry replied and said "Oh yeah, I have been so carried away by today's event, I am so tired and exhausted," she walked to her bed a fell on it like a log of tree. Michael spoke again "Do you love him?" "What?" Cherry responded back, "I mean Jason " Michael said, and Cherry confusedly answered "I don't know everything happened very fast and I don't have the opportunity to think, but I think he is a good guy" Michael asked again "are you happy with that?" Cherry reply "I don't really know but I think I like him and that makes me happy or what do you think Mr Angel" Michael corrected Cherry "you can call me Michael, I don't think anything and I can't make choices for you only God does that and he knows what you need, My Job is to watch over you like I did with those guys with the car who wanted to harass you, I can protect you from harm." Cherry instantly raised up her head "so you were the one who jammed thier cars" Michael responded "yes I was"
