Bound To Him

"Dad, leave my Dad alone" pleaded Sonia to the men in front of her holding unto a man bleeding from his head.

"Please" her voice was heard again when a boy held a gun to her father's head.

Her eyes swollen in tears wishing everything would disappear and her father would be safe and sound. Sonia couldn't bare the thought of losing her father, it would be the end of her peaceful life, she was never going to see him again.

Laying not faraway from Sonia was a woman unconscious, a barrel gun laid beside her making it obvious that she had been hit in the head with it. being hit on the head with a barrel gun. She slowly her eyes to see a gun to her husband's head, she couldn't do anything because of how weak she was.

"Shoot him" a voice came from a man wearing a leather coat and black trousers with a face just like the devil.

"Shoot him son" he compelled the boy holding the gun.

"Bang" a body was already on the floor, Sonia had just witnessed the death of her father.

It broke her, the tears in her eyes dried up in an instant flowing unceasingly as she could no longer cry anymore. Her throat became dry and she could barely utter a word.

The young boy stood there with trembling hands but he couldn't show that to his father, he subdued every fear in his body and held his head up.

As a little boy, he had already faced much worse and he could no longer feel pain, not even for the young girl who had stopped crying after he pulled the trigger. His instinct told him to look at her but he just couldn't bring himself to do it because he knew he would see hatred.

Almano stood up like a proud father and walked out with his son and cartel.

Sonia stared at the dead body of her father for a while, witnessing his death before her very eyes, only one word rang in Anabel's head "Revenge".

Her legs moved faster as she ran to catch a glimpse of those killers once again but only the plate number of their car was seen as they drove off in the thickness of the night.

Keeping it at the back of her mind, Sonia returned back to the house, only then did she realise that Lisa wasn't up yet.

For a kid who was 14, she already knew how to handle emergency situations, she picked up her phone and dailed 911.

After being rushed to the hospital, an anxious 14 year old Sonia covered her face in her hoodie waiting for her mother. Little did she know that the doctors were deliberating on how they would tell her who had just lost her father that her mother would never be sane again.

Dr Friday, the chief doctor walked up to the little girl who was seating patiently at the waiting area with her hands on her head.

"Hello Child" he said,

Sonia lifted up her head to look at a man in his mid sixties.

"Hello Doctor, how is my mom?" She asked as she studied the worried expression on Dr Friday's face.

Most kids were gullible but Sonia wasn't, she knew something was wrong when the doctors were avoiding to give her any useful information concerning her mother, each nurse passed her like she was a plague without answering her questions making her sit back until they attended to her.

"Well you see, your mom suffered a concussion and there is a major damage in her brain, she will never be able to think properly again, or act sane unless a miracle happens. I am so sorry" Dr Friday felt extremely terrible for the young girl in front of him.

Sonia looked so disappointed, she had full faith that her mother would be fine because doctors were meant to save lives.

"Can I see her now?" she requested.

"Sure" he replied.

Just as she was about to see Lisa, she noticed some people in uniform walking towards her so she halted in her steps.

"Hello kid, my name is Maria , I am from the child protection services.

The doctors told me about your condition so we are here to help you. would you like to come with us, we have other kids who are just about your age" Maria said.

The look on Sonia's face frightened Maria, she stared at her like she was the last person she wanted to see in her life, making her feel guilty like she had offended her.

"Do you want to take me away from my mother while she is still alive?" Sonia's question not only made Maria dumbfolded but also the doctors.

"No dear, we will also take care of your mother" she added.

"I'm sorry but I cannot follow you. I have someone to take care of, and we have a relative that we stay with" Sonia added. She could bet that the woman did not believe her but she wasn't willing to take her chances so she rushed into her mother's ward.

Maria discussed a bit with Dr Friday and decided to come back on the day Lisa would be discharged to take both of them, Sonia happened to hear their conversation.

She rushed back to her mother's room who was still asleep due to the anesthesia.

Holding her hand, Sonia took a seat beside her, she watched her mother while tears rolled out of her eyes. All she could see was memories of her father, the boiling in heart just wouldn't let her scream in agony so she held it in silently.

The Vin's mansion was dark and gloomy as a young boy took off his gloves, washed his hands and headed to the sitting room.

"Alberto, my son, I was so proud of you today, you have proven to me that you can take care of this cartel when I am gone" Almano said cockingly as he looked at his son with so much admiration.

He had failed in protecting his wife and promised to make sure his son doesn't make the same mistake.

Being a Mafia boss meant he had a lot of enemies who sought to kill him or harm whatever he held dearly. His wife fell a victim to his enemies and he still regrets it to this point so he tried his best to make sure his son doesn't.

At age 10 he had taught Alberto how to fight and defend himself.

At 12, he taught him how to pull the trigger and how to think like a Tyrant.

At 15 he had handed over his company to him.

And today, he taught his son how to take one's life with no mercy.

There was no turning back for Almano, living a peaceful life had never wanted him, he was also seen in the wrong places at the wrong time, life had pushed him to being rough and hard.

Almano raised his son to be a tyrant, to be fearless, he knew that he had a lot of enemies and they would want to exploit him using his son, so he turned his son into the devil instead.

At St Patrick's Hospital, Sonia was seated beside Lisa, patiently waiting for her to wake up.

When she saw Lisa's eye blink, she felt so excited, so she called the doctors.

After examining Lisa by the doctor, Sonia was finally let into the room. She rushed to her mother's side but Lisa stared at her like a stranger,

"Who are you?", those three words broke Sonia as she looked at the only family she had in this world. She took two steps back and then finally sat down crying. Lisa began fidgeting and murmuring which were the only things Sonia could see and hear, she had lost both her father and her mother in a day.

The day for Lisa to get discharged had arrived so quickly, Sonia who went to get some snacks halted when she spotted Maria and a group of unknown men enter into Dr Friday's office.

She ran back to Lisa's ward,

"Hey Mom, we have to go" she rushed to her.

"I'm not going anywhere", Lisa began scratching and shouting and this only angered Sonia as she yelled back.

" We are leaving now" she barked.

Lisa calmed down immediately hearing her scream, it was a like a sheep who had felt her master's wrath. She helped her up and escaped without anyone noticing.

They arrived at their apartment ignoring the police sign "Do not enter".

Sonia stared at the floor where her father's body was laid and she was distraught and sad. The whole house reminded her of the happy memories she had until she heard a crashing sound.

Lisa has broken a vase on her legs and was now breathing.

"Mom" she uttered.

The one place they had all their beautiful memories had turned sour, their home was now hell.

Years later,

In a supermarket, a girl in her twenties was arranging baby diapers on the shelves, when a man yelled.

"Sonia, I do not pay you to work slowly, move it" roared the manager as he stared discontentedly at her.

After 15 years, Sonia had learnt to provide for her self and her mother, working at various jobs just to make ends meet and meet her education.

Closing off from work late in the night, Sonia walked back home alone with her earpiece plugged to her mp3 player, the darkness was the only nature that she could blend in with. Listening to her favorite song 'DON'T DARE TO DIE', she hummed.

Back at her house, Lisa was shaken as she recognized the man in front of her, not only did her consciousness slip in but she felt the urge to get away from him.

As she tried to run away, Almano grabbed her and punched her in the stomach.

"Lisa, after all these years, you still kept what belongs to me" he said.

Lisa held her stomach as she rolled on the floor, she struggled to crawl out but Almano grabbed her leg and dragged her back,

"Where is it?" he roared.

He seemed to notice her holding on to a necklace so he grabs it and opens it.

Seeing what he was came for, Delvin smiled at Louis

"Thank you for corperating" he said and then strangled her to death.

Closer to the house, Sonia has a bright light shine on her face and she couldn't help but close her eyes.

Only after the light had passed, was she able to see the rear view of the car and notice the plate number.

The memories of her father's death flashed before her eyes as she picked to her heels towards the house.

Reaching home she saw Lisa lying lifeless on the floor, she crouched down crying as she shaked her mom's lifeless body.

"Mom, wake up" she pleaded but Lisa was long gone.

The death of Lisa awakened Sonia's last demons, and only the blood of her parents murderer could stop her, she had been laying low for a while taking care of the only family she had while plotting her revenge but now she was done with all that.

Tonight became one of the coldest night for Sonia as she laid on the floor close to her mother's body.

Life had been cruel to her and she wasn't questioning it any more.

She wiped her tears and picked up a shovel and buried Lisa's body in the backyard.

The morning sun glimmered on Sonia's body as she had slept close to her mother's grave, she opened her eyes and walked into the house taking a cold shower.

Sonia deliberated on how to get back at them, If she was going to exact her revenge then she must have resources, she knew her taekwondo classes weren't enough, she needed to make a big source of income.

Checking through her email for her interview feedback, she realized that she had been hired by the "Vin Companies" and is to resume work that morning.

She hastily dressed in a black suit and took a cab to her new workplace.

A black porshe parked in front of the Vin's Companies not long after Sonia arrived and Alberto walked in, a young man in a blue suit handed over a document for him to sign,

"What is this?" He asked flipping through the thin pages.

"The business proposal by Mettle & Co, for our meeting on friday" the young man named David replied.

"Where is my secretary?, why isn't she doing this?" he asked.

"She isn't here yet"

"When she gets here, fire her" he instructed.

David nodded his head as he handed over the signed document to the receptionist, and proceeded in following Almano to his office.

"Who are you" Almano asked the lady seated in his office.

The Vin's companies was so massive that Sonia was astonished by it. She made to the lady behind the desk.

"Hello, my name is Sonia, I am here for the job of a clerical staff".

The receptionist smiled at her and directed her towards an office.

Sonia walked through the corridor while taking in the view, she opened the door to the office that she was directed to and smiled at what she saw.

"Wow" were the first words that came out of her mouth.

The spacious office she walked into was so astonishing, she couldn't believe it was her office.

"If this is an office for a clerical staff, then what would the CEOs office look like" she hinted to herself enjoying how spacious it was.

She moved closer to the table running her hands on them before she sat on the chair, it felt so soft and comfortable.

"I am going to do a lot of me time here" she thought to myself.

Just as she was rummaging through the files on the desk, the door opened, a tall and handsome young man walked in followed by another.

"I would need a new secretary" he said as he walked in, he halted noticing her and the look on his face was more than disgusting to see.

"Who are you?" he asked,

"I'm Sonia, im the new staff" she said as she stood up from the chair.

"Get off my chair" he ordered in a strict tone.

"So sorry" Sonia hastily stood up from the seat ashamed.

"You have been promoted to my secretary, now get out of my office" he said coldly.

Sonia closed her eyes and bent my head in shame over what has just happened.

She couldn't bare to look at the man, as she walked out silently.

"Well done Sonia, you have officially humiliated yourself" she said to herself in disdain as she walked down the corridor.

"That stupid receptionist, she will get what is coming to her" she cursed rushing towards her.

"Hi miss Sonia, have you seen the CEO?" the lady askedonce she reached.

"Why didn't you tell me that it was his office " she replied almost shouting at her.

"I'm sorry, but every new employee is always directed to the CEO's office for introduction" she replied as she smiled at me.

"Atleast you could have told me, I made a fool of myself there" Sonia lamented cursing underneath her breath when she heard a laugh. The receptionist laughed so hard it made her mad, Sonia could guess this wasn't the first time she had experienced this scenario.

All of a sudden she stopped laughing and concentrated on her work completely ignoring me as if she was scared of a ghost.

"I believe you must be miss Sonia" a voice said from behind her and she turned to meet the same man she has seen earlier.

"My name is David, come I will show you to your office" he said.

Sonia walked quietly behind David until they entered an office quite close to the CEO's.

"This is your office, you are to report directly to Mr Alberto or me, understood? He said as he handed over a stack of documents to her.

"Please who is Mr Alberto?" Sonia asked as she dropped the documents on the table.

David looked at me and smiled, wondering if she was just naive otherwise she would get in a lot of trouble with Alberto.

"You met him earlier".

"Oh" she responded awkwardly.

Two hours later,

The rings of a telephone startled Sonia and she picked it up,

"Office now" a voice said from over the phone before she could ask who he was, he had already hung up.

Sonia ignored it thinking it was one of the employees trying to play a prank on me like the receptionist.

Minutes later, the phone rang again and she picked "Get to my office now or you are fired" the voice spoke angrily.

No one had the right to fire other people except the Ceo, she ran straight to his office and barged in without knocking.

He looked at her coldly as he ordered her to sit.

Sonia sat down waiting patiently for what he had to say, he took him two minutes before he said " 1" .

She picked up my pen and paper getting ready to write her first task when she heard him say,

" I don't like calling twice, if this repeats itself then you are fired".

Sonia dropped her pen and paper knowing it wasn't something she should write, she was being given her first warning right on her first day at work.

He continued, "On no account are you allowed to come late, and report to me first before taking a leave of absence.

Take this"

He threw a file on the table "review it and report back to me" he ordered.

"Okay sir", she got up and left.

"Who the hell does he think he is commanding me like that?" she fumed as she dropped the file on her desk. Did he have to be so arrogant about it, if she had the chance she would bash his head against the wall for speaking to her in such manner.

After reviewing the file, Sonia headed back to his office, knocking on the door,

"Come in" a voice said from inside and she walked in.

Almano looked so serious in his work that Sonia just stood there with the file in her hand watching him that she didn't know he had stretched out his hand to her.

"The file" he snapped at her.

Coming back to her senses, she quickly gave them to him, he looked at the file and then back at her,

"Leave" he uttered.

"What" she couldn't help but ask, Alberto looked at her like he had the urge to kill, the terror in his eyes were scary but not to her.

"I am done for the day sir, and I would be leaving", she stormed out of his office without looking back leaving Alberto dumbfounded.

The next morning, Sonia strolled into the company feeling confident when she heard a commotion.

Rushing to see what was happening,

She saw a lady kneeling at Alberto's feet,

"Please sir, I'm begging you, I need this job" the lady cried as she kept begging him.

Dylan stared at her coldly and signalled for the security to take her out. The lady was dragged out as she kept kicking and screaming.

"Good morning Sonia" the receptionist greeted,

"Good morning Cara" Sonia replied ready to leave when she pulled her back,

"Don't you want to know what happened?" Cara asked raising a eyebrow.

"No" she replied reluctantly.

"Well, that's the girl that you replaced, the old secretary" She blurted.

"Okay"

A knock came on Alberto's door and David peeped in,

"Everyone is ready, Sir" he said.

"Get Anabel, I need her in the meeting" Alberto replied.

In the meeting Hall, everyone was already seated waiting for him,

"Good morning everyone, shall we begin?" He said after he sat down.

David began his presentation while Alberto listened to it when he noticed something.

One of the guest was staring fondly at Sonia, he turned to Sonia who was oblivious of it concentrating on what David was saying, he turned back to him.

"I'm sorry Mr Luca but we have declined your offer" He stated.

"What's the meaning of that? Luca yelled angrily hearing such nonsense from him.

"Go ahead, yell all you want, the deal is already over, get your perverted ass out of my building" he yelled back.

There was so much confusion in the room, Luca had no idea why his offer was declined abruptly. He got up from his seat and walked out, slamming the door behind him.

"You may all leave" Alberto ordered as everyone took their turns leaving.

"Sonia sit" he added.

Sonia had on a look of confusion but decided to sit anyways,

"Do you know Mr Luca?" He asked her.

"No Sir" she replied.

"Okay you may leave" he said as he watched her leave.

In the office, the thoughts of Luca staring at Sonia kept playing in my head over and over again, not letting me concentrate.

"Why am I affected by this young lady, why can't I concentrate" he thought to myself.

He opened his drawer and picked up a lighter and cigarette, smoking had always calmed my nerves and it was bound to repeat itself.

A few minutes later, he was clear-headed and decided to continue working when a soft knock was heard on the door,

"Come in" he said.

"Good day Sir" Sonia greeted.

"Get out" he replied coldly.

Sonia was shocked by his outburst but she had no choice but to close the door quietly with a frown on her face.

"Great!! just when I had cleared my thoughts, you had to appear, Damn it" Alberto sighed.

Another knock came again.

"Didn't you hear me say get out? He yelled.

David opened the door and walked in,

"No, I didn't, I need you to sign this, it's from your father" He said.

Albert picked up his pen and signed it immediately.

"Don't let anybody in my office for the rest of the day" He ordered David.

He nodded and left.

The last thing Alberto needed was for anyone to disturb him and he won't take it likely with that person.

Checking through his watch and it was already past six, Alberto needed to have a word with his father so he stepped out of his office when he noticed David and Sonia walking and giggling together, for no reason he felt angry so he walked right past them completely ignoring them.

"Good bye Sir" David greeted.

Alberto turned back to check why Sonia didn't greet me but she had a frown on her face.

'Ofcourse she wouldn't greet me after I yelled at her'

He turned back and left. Looking through the window of his car, he could see her smiling again.

Parked in the Vin's mansion was a black Suv. Alberto stepped out in a black suit to meet his father waiting for him.

"You are late" Almano said.

"I never saw you as someone who cares about time, were you that anxious to see your son?" he asked.

"I just found out about the mv9" Almano uttered and he picked up a serious face. The Mv9 was something sensitive to the both of them and they had been trying to lay their hands on it for a while now.

"Spill"

"it's a chip containing all the MFT agents in Tokyo,were you intending on destroying it?" Almano suddenly paused to see if he was on the same page with his son.

"Now that I know what it is, No.

Get some rest old man, I had a long day".

Leaving Almano behind in the living room was the first thing that shocked him, as a boy he had always waited for his elders to finish their conversation and leave last, Almano couldn't help but feel proud of the tyrant his son was turning into.

In his dark and shady room, Alberto smoked a cigarette as he watched the garden through his window, he couldn't help but imagine Sonia standing outside but when he looked again she wasn't there.

"How long does this have to go on" he thought to himself. It hadn't been hours since he left her and now he was already hallucinating about her.

Realizing that having a smoke was not enough to clear his head, he laid on his bed and slept.

At the Vin's companies, David walked in to see a bright and happy Cara,

"Good morning Cara, you look good and happy today" he said.

"Good morning sir and Thank you" she answered.

He smiled at her and walked away but didn't seem to notice that her mood had brightened up from the way it was.

Sonia walked in with a moody face ignoring Cara's greeting,

"Good morning Sonia" Cara couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with her or if she had done something wrong to offend her.

Alberto who happen to step in at the same time noticed Sonia's moody face but what he didn't know was that he also became worried at the same time.

He got to his office and sat grumpily on his seat, he picked up his phone and called David.

" Get me Sonia" he ordered in an harsh tone.

Minutes later a knock was heard on the door,

"Come in"

"Good morning Sir" Sonia greeted as she walked in.

"Morning" he replied.

"Do you need anything?" she asked.

"Come, sit, I need you to read something for me" he said.

"Okay sir", she took a sit as Dylan handed over a book to her.

Sonia read through the pages in no time and she was in page four when she felt a stare on her.

"Is there any problem? she asked Alberto keeping his hands on his lips while starting at her.

"Uhhm, nothing" he replied completely snapping back to his senses.

"Can I have your permission sir?" she asked.

"To do what?"

" I need to be somewhere right now, it's urgent"

"It's okay, you may leave" He said not trying to hold her back.

Sonia stood up and walked away hastily but to Alberto he felt like the light had left him.

Sonia arrived at the cemetery, she stood in front of a tombstone engraved

" In loving Memory of Frank Leopard",

Sonia sat down with a flower in her hand.

" Hi Dad, it's Sonia.

I'm doing fine incase you are wondering about that, it's been ages since you left this world but you know sometimes I wish you were still here. I know that you are watching over me and you are with mom" a tear drop fell from her eyes.

"I know I had promised to avenge you and I will do that. Sometimes I wonder how you are fairing, I wish I could just get a glimpse of you again.

I know I am blabbering a lot, the truth is I don't have anyone else to talk to.

I started this new job so that I can earn more money to enact my revenge, I swear to you and mom that I will kill the man who took you two away from me".

More tears rolled down her eyes and she wiped it off, sitting down for hours, she kept on talking to her father tomb until she checked the time and realized that it was late. Sonia wished she could stay much longer but she needed to rest of she was going to make it to work early.

At six, the breeze in Rome had become colder make Sonia shiver, she dropped the flower, blew her father's tombstone a kiss and finally walked out.

A black SUV was parked outside the cemetery gate, immediately she stepped out, Alberto winded down his window.

Seeing him, she walked up to him,

"Did you follow me? she asked.

"This girl doesn't have any manners' he thought to himself.

"And so?" he replied.

Sonia scoffed and began walking away, she couldn't care less about him and why he followed her.

This angered Alberto that he blocked her path with his Car.

"Are you crazy? she yelled.

"Ofcourse" he replied as he came out of the car.

"Get in" he ordered.

"No" she replied.

"Dont make force you, get in" he ordered again but she didn't budge.

"Fine then, walk with me" he requested as he started moving, she followed slowly behind him.

"I said walk with me not follow me" Alberto stopped and waited for her to reach his side before he started walking again.

"I don't know what you want from me..."

"shhhhh" she was interrupted by him.

" Quietly walk with me" he said.

After Sonia had left the office, Alberto was feeling restless and decided to follow her to calm his nerves, once he saw her come out of the cemetery, his muscles suddenly relaxed.

How could this girl make him feel this way?.

He had never looked at any girl twice no matter how beautiful she was, but once he saw her in his office, he already wanted her around.

He suddenly slowed his pace to let her walk forward when a gust of wind blew her hair giving her the most angelic pose as she turned her head towards him

" Mr Alberto, walk with me not follow me", she uttered noticing his lazy steps.

He smiled a bit and then joined her.

The ride back home was beautiful for Alberto as he had a smile on his face,

"Hello old man" he greeted Almano who was sitting at dining room.

Almano couldn't help but notice the smile on his son's face

"why are you so happy?" he asked.

"Nothing" Alberto replied, he removed his jacket and left for the underground vault.

In the vault, a man was strapped to a chair, being electrocuted from time to time waiting for him to get back.

"You can do this all day but I won't say anything" Adam yelled while in pain.

The young man torturing was getting frustrated and punched him in the face, for years Bernard had always been Alberto's right hand man. He was as ruthless as Alberto but served a master.

"Anything?" Alberto asked as he walked in

"Nothing boss" He replied and punched the man again.

Seeing Alberto, Adam started to laugh, "You can't get anything from me, I don't even have a weakness for you to threaten me with" he blurted.

"Is that so, I didn't come here to torture you. I came to strike a deal with you" Alberto replied.

Hearing about a deal, Adam's face lit up,

" I'm listening" he nodded

"How would you like to be a major shareholder of the Vin's Companies?" Alberto asked.

The Vin Companies was the second largest company in Rome and to be a major shareholder meant a lot for Adam who was just working as an ordinary agent for the MFT.

" Is this true? he asked.

Alberto signalled and a paper was brought before him, Bernard untied Adam as he picked the contract and read it, looking at him, he smiled.

Alberto gave him a pen and he signed it happily.

"Now speak" he ordered.

"The MV9 is not just an identity list but also has encoding to the missile operation of Pakistan force. Whoever has the mv9 is able to dominate the military force of Pakistan giving him power to create a war" Adam confessed and when he was done telling Alberto everything he needed to know, he stood up and tapped him by the shoulders.

"I will take my leave now" he cockingly said as he turned to leave.

Bernard handed over a Gun to Alberto,

"Hey Adam, you don't make deals with the devil" Alberto said holding the trigger.

Adam turned and a shot was fired straight into his forehead, his body dropped on the floor. Alberto picked up the contract and burned it with a lighter.

"Clean this up" He ordered.

"Yes boss, Bernard nodded as he ordered the boys to tidy the place up.

The Friday morning in Rome was warmer than usual as Sonia had decided to wear a beautiful blue dress, walking into the Vin Companies, all eyes pierced her.

Two seconds later, Alberto walked in, greeted by a few employees, he noticed her in a dress and couldn't help but be stunned.

"She looks beautiful" David said bringing back Alberto from his thoughts.They both walked steadily behind her as she headed to her office.

At the office, Alberto couldn't help but think about how beautiful Sonia was completely ignoring David who had been talking for a while now, he picked up the office phone and dailed

"Good morning Sir" Sonia said through the line

"And he wasn't listening" David thought to himself realizing all he said has fallen to deaf ears.

"Office now" he ordered.

Two minutes later Sonia arrived,

"I need you to pick up some flowers at this address, he handed over an address to her.

"okay sir, she replied and then left.

"David, we will continue later, get back to work" David nodded and also left.

Down the street, a few blocks from the office, Sonia got the roses and returned when she spotted a familiar car with a plate number, her blood boiled as she ran to the office,

"Hey Cara, who owns that car? she asked.

" Mr Almano, he is here to see Mr Alberto"

She suddenly dropped the flowers on the counter and retreated to hide outside the building waiting for Almano's return.

Luckily for her, Almano came out a few minutes later and drove off, she took a cab and followed him.

In the car, Almano who was reading a newspaper noticed a taxi was following him, he tapped his driver

" lose them". The driver drove extremely fast making an abrupt turn causing making a bus from the alternative road to crash and block the road.

Sonia came out of the cab completely frustrated that she had lost him.

Alberto who had just chased out his father, waited anxiously for Sonia's return when David interrupted him,

"Waiting for something Sir?" he asked as he walked in.

"Is Sonia back? He asked.

"Yes, and she looked really angry, she clearly bumped into me and didn't care" he replied.

"She didn't happen to have a flower in her hand, did she? " Alberto asked again feeling worried.

"No Sir" he answered.

"okay".

Alberto paced back and forth trying to figure out what happened, Did the flowers make her angry or did something happen on the way.

David had a worried expression on his face while observing his boss.

Sonia stormed into her office completely angry,

"Damn it" she cussed.

The one chance she had in finding that man had just blown away.

The thought of losing her parents murderer made her angry that she had forgotten she was given a task by Alberto.

Few hours, remembering the task given to her by him, she ran to the counter noticing the flowers were gone.

"Where is it? she yelled as she asked Cara.

Cara pointed at the flowers and she picked it up rushing towards Alberto's office, she took a deep breath before entering his office.

Alberto who had been pacing noticed her presence and frowned,

"How long did it take you?"

"I'm sorry Sir, I got carried away" she replied

" There is no need for the flowers again, you can keep them to yourself" he replied nonchalantly.

Sonia left not realizing that the flowers were actually for her.
