Until she went deep, too deep and finally realized how much of a monster he is, how his presence could hurt her existence, he was the heir to a very very dark throne... She tried to stay away but... unfortunately, he had come too far to let go.

Chapter 1 THE DRESS.

"S-sir...you're not supposed to be here..." Sasha said, holding his gaze. The words slipping out like a warning...though the flush in her cheeks said otherwise.

Xavier blackwood, in all his glory, was pinning her to her bed. Xavier was supposed to be her boss...her freaking boss. Now he's here...in her room, pinning and straddling her on her own goddamn bed.

"You don't get to tell me where I belong because..." he said, using his fingers and trailing up her neck and landed on her lips. "You're just my secretary...and secretaries only obey orders." With that...he pressed a tender kiss on her neck, his lips trailing softly from her collarbone to her cleavage.

Sasha was already getting heated up. She threw her head back on her pillow and struggled to hold her moan, not wanting to give him the satisfaction he's craving. He lifted up her nightdress and was about to go down on her when...

BUZZZZ!

BUZZZZ!

"Ahh..." Sasha bounced up from the bed, frightened by the sound of her alarm. She was breathing hard and sweating, hair clinging to her face.

"It was just a dream... it was just a dream..." She said, repeatedly to herself.

Xavier freaking Blackwood, on her bed, making out. Gosh...

Xavier is just her boss. A very strict and heartless one at that. Although she admit that she has been crushing on him but she was too afraid to act on it.

Thinking about him that way, she realized that she was soaking wet down there. Her legs subconsciously pressed together, her fingers went down caressing it softly. A loud but soft moan escaped her lips.

"Xavier..." she quickly covered her mouth.

Her face was flushed and crimson. What was she thinking? Moaning her boss's name while masturbating.

Sasha got up from her bed and went straight to the bathroom. She stood in front of the mirror and admired herself.

Sasha is a brunette, with big round eyes, partly grey in color. She was 25 and has the whole curves in all appropriate places. She was blessed with a God given smile, smile that could melt a thousand hearts. She was tall and had long beautiful legs worth dying for.

As she stared at the mirror, the reality of her appearance began to sink in. Messy hair, smudged makeup and baggy eyes. She couldn't help but to feel horrible and pathetic.

She rushed into the shower, trying to shower off the kisses that felt almost real. Wrapped in a towel, she stepped out and reached for her phone.

"Shit, I'm late..." She dropped her phone and went into her tiny wardrobe.

She rummaged the wardrobe and there was nothing new to wear. Everything was worn and lame. She stared at a red dress Stella had given her. It was a seductive tight dress, the neck was cut in deep that her cleavages were visible.

For a second she wanted to look different today...just for today. Although she tried hiding her feelings but being Mr blackwood's secretary is quite the temptation. Maybe...just maybe he would glance at her.

She put on the red dress and stared one last time at the mirror. She barely recognized herself. She looked stunning with the short dress that could barely cover her thighs. It hugged her curves perfectly.

"Maybe...I should wear it some other time," she said to herself. But some parts of her heart wanted to wear this.

"Or...maybe...one time wouldn't hurt." She mumbled. Dame! She she has to be at work in thirty minutes. That left her with no choice but to wear it!

She got to the company, THE BLACKWOOD CORP and went straight to her desk. People started whispering and pointing towards her, giving her a dirty look but she cared less.

"The dirty slut has arrived..."

"God, she's so shameless, wearing that to work."

"Everyone knows she's just trying hard to impress the CEO. Unfortunately, he doesn't do locals."

She ignored the whispering and harsh tones, although those words sting but...whatever.

She settled down at her desk, flipping through files... until she heard the interline: Bring the documents we discussed yesterday to my office. Now!

Her breath hitched. She grabbed the files and headed to the elevator. While she was in the elevator, her mind started drifting to all naughty things Xavier did to her. Shame it was just a dream.

Ding.

The elevator door opened, revealing the glassy hallways. Everything there has always been expensively crafted. Everything there was the success of the man behind those closed doors.

She finally reached the door, the only door that leads to him. She knocked once, heart racing loudly, she didn't know what she was more afraid of... being seen like this...in this dress... or making last night's dream come true today.

And then she knocked the second time. And she heard a simple.

"Come in, Miss Hart."

She held the doorknob and exhaled before pushing in.

He was in his tailored suit, hair neat, pitch black and no single strand was out of place. He was heavily built for a thirty years old bachelor. He had the prettiest face any woman could ever dream of, bold and straight cheekbones, beautiful pink lips and calculated brown eyes.

Sasha observed all of that with just a glance.

He hadn't moved his eyes from his laptop since she came in. She quietly went towards him with the files and dropped it on his desk.

"Here are the documents you asked for, Sir."

And then for the first time in what felt like decades, his eyes finally looked up at her. Not just at her, his eyes swept every inch of her body to the extent that Sasha felt naked in front of him.

Xavier Blackwood was not known for being a ladies guy. He's always professional and strict when it comes to business.

Like he had said before, "I don't mix business with pleasure". But those gazes were burning into her skin, his pupils dilated and she saw something else beneath that gaze----Hunger.

And then for a second, she regretted wearing this dress.

"What the hell are you wearing, Miss Hart?"

Chapter 2 MINE ALREADY.

Xavier peeled every inch of her body with his gaze... Those endless long creamy legs and her boobs that almost poured out from the dress she wore.

That wasn't the worst part. Her nipples were goddamn visible to him, she wasn't wearing any bra. This was clearly a seduction scene, and a mountain of temptation.

His mind was in a daze. Something in him shook, he was hard, so damn hard just by looking at her. He wanted to grab her and fuck some sense into her but... this was Sasha Hart, his secretary that has worked for him for some years now and never had he considered her in such a way.

He had always kept his distance, never misbehaved this way, all he cared about was his business. But this...this standing in front of him was a whole, a new level of temptation.

He cleared his throat.

"What are you wearing, Miss Hart?"

Sasha bit her lower lip, not knowing what to say.

"I asked a question that demands an answer." he said, holding her gaze.

"I... I ran out of my usuals and..."

"Does this company look like a strip club to you?" He asked, standing up from his seat.

Sasha's heart was beating so loud, she could hear it. She knew this was a bad idea.

"I'm sorry sir... I don't mean to cause any trouble or distraction..."

He scoffed, "Distraction? Is that what you call it?"

"It won't happen again Sir..." She stepped back when he got closer. He was towering over her, his scent clouded her mind, the memory of those dreams came back... the way he had kissed her...was this it? Was he going to kiss her?

He stopped right in front of her, only a breath away, his hands inside his pocket. Her scent filled his nostrils making him hard the more.

He clenched his teeth...

"Miss Hart, you've worked for me, more than a year now, you've never acted this way. What changed?"

Sasha looked away, she wanted to tell him that everything changed last night when his tongue was deep into her throat, when he grabbed her and touched every inch of her body. In her dream.

"I'm sorry Sir... it wouldn't repeat again..."

"It sure wouldn't. I don't tolerate those bullshit." He said, heading back to his desk. "This would be the last time you dress like a whore into this building."

"Excuse me!" Sasha said loudly, she knew she was poor and everything but she's no whore. "And I don't tolerate being called such names."

Xavier raised a brow. "Oh really?" This was the first time she'd talk back at him. "If you're not a whore... what are you then? Being dressed like that, did you even look at yourself at the mirror? All guys would have had their satisfaction looking at you..."

"Why do you care...?" She yelled out before she could stop herself. She wondered where all those boldness came from. "I'm... I'm sorry Sir... but it's my business what other guys think about my body..."

"... Not anymore." Xavier cut in. Looking at her with eyes that burned with fury. "As long as you still work under the Blackwood corporation, it's my goddamn business. Now get out!"

She was startled at the harshness in his voice. She only nodded and walked out, closing the door behind her with a huge sigh of relief that he didn't fire her. But what did he mean when he said that her body was his business? She shrugged it off and walked out of the elevator and into her cubicle.

Sasha was barely seated at her desk when Stella came in.

"Girl, you're on fire..." Stella said sitting beside her. "What gave you the guts to wear that?"

Sasha sighed. "I shouldn't have worn it."

"No... it's a good thing." She leaned close to Sasha. "Do you know that hot guy from the engineering department saw you this morning and asked for your number?"

"Did you give it to him?" Sasha asked, with a warning look.

Stella hesitated. "Look... I know that you've been single and dying to mingle, I just had to hook you up with him, he's a nice guy."

"Stella... I told you... I'm not ready for that yet." Sasha said, burying her face in her hands.

"Shut up Sasha... I know you want that guy so badly." Stella said, tapping her elbow lightly. "I've seen the way you stared at his abs, you haven't sucked dicks in years... I mean who does that?"

"Oh my gosh, Stella..." Sasha raised her head, face flushed with embarrassment. "You're so shameless!"

"Duh, babes I'm just looking out for you." Stella said, smiling widely.

Stella has always been her best friend since high school, they went to college together and now work together. Stella is always that supportive figure around her, always cocky and nosey, but they were great friends looking out for each other. They were both same age, but Stella's always the party type and always gets guys' attention.

It was almost closing hours. Inside the CEO office, Xavier sat on his chair with hands on his temples. He was literally stressed out by the fact that he couldn't get the thought of Sasha out of his head. The way she looked, her endless legs. He suddenly had the feeling to protect her and pluck out every eyes that looked at her while coming.

She was messing with his brain, he wondered how soft her breasts would feel on his palm, how loud she'll moan his name when he touches her...

God, Xavier... get the hold of yourself.

He ran his hands through his hair. It was just Sasha Hart, the timid secretary that trembles at the sound of his voice. Now... he couldn't stop thinking about her.

It was finally closing hours, he grabbed some documents and stormed out. He entered the elevator, no one dares to enter same elevator. He was kinda hoping to run into Sasha... but when he stepped out from the elevator, she was no where to be found...

"Good night, sir."

"Have a good rest, sir."

The staffs greeted him while he walked past them, eyes scanning through the hall. A little bit of disappointment visible on his face cuz Sasha was not there.

Immediately he stepped out of the company, his eyes caught a little slim figure that he recognized clearly. Sasha was standing at a corner with a man. Not just a man, his staff... his fucking staff...

She was laughing at something he said... She entered his car, something in him cracked... He wanted to lash out at them, he wanted to take Sasha away from him. He wanted to grab her and teach her a lesson...

He badly wanted to kiss the shit out of her.

But she was not his... not yet...

Chapter 3 UNSPOKEN WORDS.

Sasha sat stiffly in the passenger seat, her hands folded on her lap, trying not to look back at the company. She could still feel Xavier's stare between her shoulder blades.

But she'd made her choice. wearing such a dress.

And now she was riding home with a stranger, who she now recognized as MARTIN LARK. The senior manager of the engineering department.

He was a great guy, so far she had known, he's a gentleman.

Martin adjusted his cufflinks before starting the engine. "You look tense," he said smoothly.

She gave a small, polite laugh. "Just tired."

"I'm not surprised. The CEO can drain the life out of a room."

She blinked, caught off guard.

He smiled. " I usually stay quietly around to not get noticed but...." His eyes flicked to her, "You killed the whole room with that dress"

"I did?" Sasha looked away quickly. "i wasn't thinking, I didn't know why I wore it."

"It's alright..." he said, turning the car onto the main road. "no offense, but I was kinda surprised why the CEO didn't fire you after seeing what you wore."

She didn't answer.

"I mean... it's not like you two have something...." His voice dropped, playful.

"No we don't" she hurriedly said.

He shrugged. "that's unlike him... as long as I know, he doesn't tolerate that kind of act..."

"Can we not talk about him right now?," she whispered.

He chuckled. "Anything you say, princess"

They drove a while in silence.

Sasha admired the City through the window. It looked beautiful. For a second she was lighthearted. She was wondering how she'll face him tomorrow. Curse this stupid dress.

She breathed in again, trying to take in the view, pushing Xavier to the back of her mind.

Then he spoke again, softer this time.

"You're not like the others."

Sasha stayed quiet.

Martin glanced at her, slowing the car near her building. "Look... I really like you and if you have anything with him..."

She turned sharply. "Excuse me?"

"I told you. I know that everyone says I'm just doing this to impress or sleep with the CEO but... I'm not really like that."

"Then why did you wear that dress today?" he asked, staring hard at her.

She rolled her eyes. "it's not for him... I promise."

He gave her a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Alright, whatever you say.."

Sasha suddenly felt bad for lying to him. She knew much well that she wore the dress for Xavier.

He parked in front of her apartment gate.

Sasha reached for the door handle, but he touched her wrist...light, casual.

"Don't be nervous. I'm harmless."

She gave a tight smile. "Thanks for the ride."

"I'd like to see you again," he said.

She hesitated.

He held her hand, soft but firm."I'd love to give you a ride again. And I'll love to see that pretty face again."

Sasha smiled, what a gentleman. "I'll love to see you again too"

Martin bit his lips and started leaning towards her...

Sasha's heart was pounding and beating really fast. Was he going to kiss her? they barely knew each other..

His lips landed on her cheek lightly. and then he pulled back and looked at her.

"I'll see you at work tomorrow or some other time then"

She smiled, nodded before coming out from the car. She waved at him as he drove off.

Wait, what was that? Sasha was already having butterflies in her tummy. Martin is a good guy, though she doesn't know him quite well.

Maybe... just maybe, she could replace Xavier in her heart.

★★★★

The apartment was dimly lit, smelling faintly of lavender oil and old books. Her mother was curled up on the couch under a blanket, soft jazz humming from the corner radio.

"You're back late," she said, looking up with tired eyes.

Sasha leaned down to kiss her cheek. "Work."

Her mother smiled. "You look exhausted."

"I am."

Sasha slipped out of her shoes and sat beside her.

"I thought you'd eat out," her mother said, gesturing to the untouched bowl on the table.

"I wasn't that hungry," Sasha murmured. "Too tense."

There was a pause.

Her mother reached for her hand.

"The hospital called again today. They're waiting on the second half of the payment."

Sasha closed her eyes briefly. "I'll figure something out."

"I hate seeing you push yourself this hard."

"I'm fine."

"You're not."

Sasha smiled faintly. "You're the one in pain, Mom. I'm just tired. That's easier."

Her mother squeezed her fingers gently. "You're doing everything you can. I know that. Just promise me, Sasha... you're not letting anyone treat you badly just because you need the money."

Sasha was quiet for a long moment.

Then she whispered, "Do you ever get the feeling someone's watching you... not because they care, but because they want something they won't admit?"

Her mother blinked. "What do you mean?"

"My boss. He... he saw me in this dress, and stared at me like... I don't know, but it was kinda strange..."

"Did he say anything to you?"

"No. Not really. But it's there. I don't know if it's hate or something worse. You know what? Just forget it."

Her mother frowned. "Sasha..."

"I'm fine," she lied. "Really."

They sat in silence for a while, the radio soft in the background.

Then her mother stood. "Come. You need to rest."

Sasha followed her to the room, the weight of the day still pressing against her chest.

She crawled under the sheets, after a warm shower and turned off the lamp.

The room went dark.

But her thoughts didn't.

She lay there for hours, staring at the ceiling, unable to shake the feel of Xavier's eyes... cold, quiet, and watching.

Even when they weren't.
