THE HYBRID'S CURSE
CHAPTER 1
Today was the darkest day of the century. The entirety of everything, recorded in Gayatri of diary felt dead, the fiery windy breeze, blowing throughout the entire town, caressing the humans, who were already asleep, making it, the best night of their life, but it was torturing to the various night crawlers of the night, who tried all things possible, not to be touched by the wind. It causes anxiety, profanity, insanity until, they are left with no other choice but to consumed by their monstrous counterparts, of the society
She could hear, it, the panting, the scraping of claws against woods, the twigs being broken, as the screams were loud, tearing at her eardrums, but yet, she could see nothing. She felt the lightening, strike, as the thunder crashed, as if the Norse gods were having an argument, and decided to settle it with fights. The ancient people, would have seen this as an omen, foretelling the reign of evil things to flow. But now, she was locked into the nightmare, trapped, as the sweet smell of blood, could be imagined, flowing from, her wrists, dropping onto the hungry and parched earth, which opened, its mouth greedily, sucking very little taste it could find, as it grumbled, too, angry at what was taking so long to finish her off.
She should be panicking, she should be terrified, to scream, move, or do anything, but she was motionless, it felt like home, yet it resembled nothing like it. In the distance, she could hear some whispers, and although she was blindfolded, she could see them, having, a heated discussion, as she was suddenly pulled into their circle, but none of them seemed to notice her. She couldn't make out their faces, and their words, seem to float out in words, conceiting of black vapor, which dissipated, as quickly as it had emerged from their mouths. It seemed like a subtitle, where their voices were muted.
She didn't want to watch, anymore, as she closed her eyes, but no matter, how many times, she shut her eyes, she still watched it, it was impossible to push away, and it swallowed her, engulfing her, making her tremble, for the first time, in a million centuries, and she wasn't even up to a century old.
Panicking, she could feel, the guilt, overcoming her, and the shame as the word abominable, were printed red hot, on her forehead, as she screamed out in pain, her screams, frightening off, every animal, big or small, that seem to be in a 100 feet radius but the two women, didn't even flinch, much less, spare her a glance. It was getting overwhelming as her eyes was strained back to the ladies, as she was forced against her will, to read every word, that came out of their mouths.
I am afraid, that I have bad news, for you. the high priestess sighed, as she slumped her shoulders, due to the grave news, that she bears after consulting the Moon Goddess. She didn't know how to tell the Luna, who was at the moment heavily pregnant.
The Luna, was panting heavily as another pre contraction washed around, her as she growled in pains, her claws already extending, as her eyes turned pale emerald. Her pregnancy was coming, and it was coming fast.
Wh-what, do you mean? What is happening to me? I can feel it slowly; life being drained out of me. She said slowly as she tightened her grip on the chair, as its handle broke, into pieces, falling on the ground.
High Priestess, Madalyn, squeezed her eyes in pains, she didn't know how she was going to tell the Luna, what was going on with her.
The Luna saw her reaction, as she called her name,
Madalyn, tell me what is going on? Tell me the truth? She said again.
I am sorry, Ariel, but you are going to die, you won't survive the childbirth, and worse the baby... Madalyn trailed off, as she tried to keep her tears under control. She couldn't believe that she was telling her best friend that she was dying, and she couldn't do anything to help, her, because the Moon Goddess, has ordained it so.
I don't care about myself, what is with my baby, tell me, that he is going to be all right. Tell me, my little baby boy is going to be all right. Ariel said clutching tight at her hand as blood began to drip, but Madalyn didn't let go. Instead she used the other hand to tighten their grip, and she said, slowly, almost like a whisper,
It is a girl...and she is human, she doesn't possess any wolf abilities.
But that is impossible, her father and I are both pure bleeds. Madalyn nodded her head, as she tried to speak, when suddenly her eyes turned pure white as she chanted, the words of the Moon Goddess.
Your child will bring forth the destruction, and woes of the park, a darkness to be reckoned with, the wolfs stand no chance with her, neither does the vampires and other night crawlers. To save everyone, she must die...
AYLA!!!!!!!!!!! She jolted out of her nightmare, as the old eccentric woman, in front of, her banged with a wood, against a metallic cover.
Gasping, she looked around, as she tried to recollect, why she found herself, laying down, on the old disgusting mosses, near the edge of the forest, and not on, her small, spacious bed, in her little cottage.
Realizing she was outside her house, and her mother was the one, banging at the metallic cover, with reckless, abandon. She decided to get up, as she rushed to her, dragging the wood, from her.
Hush, mother! I am awake, now. I am sorry, I didn't stick to my promise of not more sleep walking, but we simply cant afford to wake up, the neighbors, they will drive us out of the town. Ayla said as she patted her small, petite mother, as she tried to lead her back to the cottage.
Bjsajfcdsvhcvsjacdncls jcjws dihisvkd. Her mother grumbled pointing at the sky and yet at nothing. Ayla sighed,
Sometimes, her mother, was her mother, and sometimes, she was exactly, what she had always been.
A deranged woman.

CHAPTER 2: A TYPICAL DAY
Shortly, after Ayla, brought her mother, back, into the house, they lived, in. she ventured back, to her house duties, as she started tackling them, one by one. She arranged the fire place, adding more woods, so that it could burn more brightly and heat up, the whole place. She swept, mopped, arranged the pantry, washed all the plates and pots under one hour. She was super-fast doing house chores. She didn't know, why. She considered it a gift as she still had to trek to school, but she doesn't get tired easily. Hell, she rarely gets tired. But she has chalked it up, to being the sole provider of both her and her mother.
As she was sweeping, she paused, lost in thoughts, again. How on earth did her mother raise her, if she doesn't know how to take care of myself. Why don't I know, my father? Was I left to the mercy of, my deranged mother all these years. She knew as from the age of 5, she was the one talking care of, my mother, but who took care of her, before that. It was baffling.
A loud noise emanated from, the parlor, startling Ayla, as she dropped the broom, out of shock.
Something must have happened to her mother again. Rushing, she was in time to see, her mother almost thrust her hand, into the burning furnace.
Mother, no! she yelled as she rushed to hold her, but she was too late, as her mother hand was pleasantly burning, the smell, of roasted skin, filling the air, but she didn't flinch. Instead she cackled and smiled like a child, watching the hand burn. Ayla dragged her mother, out of the fireplace as she hurriedly dropped her hand in a basin of cold water, left on the table. As the fire quenched, and a sizzling sound was heard, Ayla immediately wrapped the hand in a towel, as she scolded her mother crying,
Mum, why on earth would you do that to me, why burn yourself, and you re laughing. She said as she wiped the hand, even scared to look at the gravity of what she had done to herself.
Her mother just looked, at her and looked away, angry that her daughter had stopped her from having fun.
Mother, this isn't games, you were literally, on fire, and now, you are mad at me. She said exasperated, but her mother didn't say anything as she focused on ignoring her.
Angrily, Ayla said pulling away at the towel. She couldn't believe her mother.
Okay, fine, have fun your own way. I don't care if you kill yourself in the process. She said pulling harder at the towel, as her mother hand fell off from, it as she turned to run away before she paused dead, in her tracks.
What on earth? She looked back and saw that her mother's hand wasn't burnt at all. It was as if, nothing happened to it.
Impossible, Ayla said as she squatted back down, confused on how to explain, this strange phenomenon. What on earth just happened to her mother.
Mother, are you seeing, what I am seeing. She said poking at her mother's mysteriously healed hand, as her mother grumbled.
Surely, I must still be sleeping, this has to be a joke. She said holding her mother's hand as she caressed it, it was real, and hot. She looked back at the fireplace, in confusion. She edged closer and carried her hand. She could feel, the heat burning her hand already before she even reached near it. But the pain was real, her mother plunged her hand into the fireplace for minutes, her hand burning, but nothing. Yet, the fire is burning me, maybe I saw wrong. Maybe she didn't put her hand, in it. Maybe I just assumed, fearing the worst seeing her there.
This could be fear, she said to herself.
But as she turned to face her mother who had stood up, and walked out of the parlor, she heard a loud ringing in her ears, tearing away at her ear drums, as she pressed her hand s trying to shut out the screams. It was like a thousand banshee screaming directly, as blood began to flow from her ears.
She collapsed to the floor, and immediately she opened her eyes, she was in front of her bathroom, mirror, panting, as if she had run a marathon race. Startled she looked at the mirror, her eyes, fading, a bright green color as it returned to the usual brown. What the hell just happened. She looked at her hand. Her tooth brush was clutched tightly as toothpaste was all over the brush.
Was she brushing her teeth? But how. Was it a dream, and she got lost in her thoughts, imagining that her mother had burnt her hand, and yet didn't at the same time.
She was confused, what the hell was happening to her?
But what is real, and what isn't real again, she had no idea. She needed someone to talk to. Because she was definitely going crazy.
Bringing the brush to her teeth, she brushed slowly staring at her reflection, in the mirror as the same pale and haunted version of her, stared back, at her, doing the exact same thing, she is doing. But as soon, as she bent down, to spit out the paste in her mouth, her reflection, still stood erect, smiling as blood flowed from, her eyes, as she watched the original version of her wash her face with water, before disappearing like a puff of smoke.
Tormenting her, was fun, now, it was time for her to go. She didn't want the fun to end. She would come back, once again, when she was in a joyous mod.
Ayla raised her head, and stared at her reflection, in the mirror. As she checked her teeth and tongue, before pointing the brush at the mirror saying,
Today is going to be a good day, for me. I just know it.
THE HYBRID'S CURSE
CHAPTER 3: THE MAYOR'S MANOR
The Mayor's mansion, was a beauty to behold. It was decorated with beautiful, ornamental plants, that was lined up, perfectly, leading the way to the entrance of the house. Its spacious walls, well, decorated antiques figures, that had two stature wolves howling in front. The exterior of the mansion, may be breathtaking, but the interior of the mansion, was another universe all together.
Upstairs, in one of the spacious room, having a view of the entire city, was where Michael, was currently in, lying down, on his bed, reading a vampire romance novel, with his ear pods clad in his ears, playing songs, that took, him, to a different time line.
He was a God of, beauty. He had different streaks of colors, in his hair, his eyes were a bright golden color, and he had the perfect sculptured boy, boys envied, and girls adored. Plus, his smile, was out of the world...if only he smiled often.
The door, opened revealing a girl of about 18, with brown colored hair, with strands of the same color, as his, too. She was sipping something, from her cup, with a straw, as Michael glanced at her, and returned back to the book, he was reading.
Hello, Cousin, it is a brand new day. Get up, from the bed, there is reality you know. She said dropping the cup, on, the table as she sat beside him, lying down.
Michael paused the music, and faced her,
What do you want now, Gaia? You always bug me all the time. What possibly could you want now?
Gaia rolled her eyes and said,
I know you are still mad, about last night. My father didn't really mean anything, he said. He just didn't see the reason, why...
I shouldn't feel, bad and kill humans, and drink, their blood right? Right. He said dropping the book, as he stood up, and walked to the mirror.
Gaia stood up, and said,
You got to realize something, Father didn't mean anything bad. It is our genre. It is the only way of survival. We can't say no, to what we cannot control, but I didn't come here to pick sides. Isn't that why you left your nest? Your father...
I don't want to talk about, my father. Gaia, you are my cousin, and I came here, because I needed a fresh start, to start anew, go to school, live a life, and not bother myself, concerning anything from, our family. Is that too much to ask? Michael said as Gaia, was lost staring at his abs, as she bit her lips.
Gaia?! Eyes back on, my face. He said snapping his fingers, as Gaia jerked and blinked her eyes.
Sorry about that. I guess I don't concentrate anymore, when I am in front of an attractive guy. Put some clothes on, before I do something we both regret. She said throwing Michael a shirt who caught it, in midair, and wore it.
Just then, the door, opened again, as a little girl of five years old ran in, jumping on Michael who caught and spun her around.
And here she is, my only reason, why I am staying here. He said as she laughed round, her big blue eyes looking back at him.
Big brother Michael, did you miss me? She said giggling as Michael stopped with the spin, as Gaia rolled her eyes.
You literally saw him, last night before sleeping. You know, I am really jealous, at the fact he gives you more attention, to you than, almost anybody else. Gaia said as she walked towards them.
Of course, I missed you so much, and you are my favorite, that is mine. The rest of the family don't get me, but you totally do. He said rubbing her face as Lily stuck her tongue out at Gaia.
You know, what. I don't want to be the center of attraction, anymore, I am going. Gaia said as she carried her cup, from the table, as Lily caught a glance of it.
Is that blood? She asked looking at Gaia, who nodded her head in affirmation. Immediately Michael scowled at her, with anger and disappointment written all over his face, as she continued.
Rabbit, blood. Relax, I didn't drain a human being. Besides get ready for school, classes start by 8am sharp. Bye, Lily. She said shrugging as she walked out of the room, closing the door, behind her.
Good bye, big sis. Lily said before turning back to Michael again.
Big brother Michael, I had a dream last night, do you want to hear about it. She said as Michael nodded her head.
Of course, I would, tell me everything. Michael said as he sat down on the bed, still carrying Lily.
Okay, in, my dream the bad guys came again and I was alone in the forest. I didn't see you. you said that you were always going to protect me but you weren't there, where were you? she asked, a bit sad.
I was on, my way running to save you. of course I will be by your side always. Michael said consoling her.
Don't bother coming again, because I took care of it. I turned into a full moon, and bit their head off from their body as they dropped dead, and I was covered in their blood. I bit them very hard, because I was scared and angry, and they wanted to kill me. It was those rogues. She said demonstrating how big they were.
I see, and you bit them with these, your little teeth, that are so adorable here. It isn't even complete. He said poking at her mouth as she smiled and replied.
Stop, making fun of me, it is complete look, and besides I am a wolf, my teeth aren't cute, they are vicious. She said biting her teeth in front of his face.
Well, I am happy. You are going to be a great Luna, one day. You know that right, and you have to lead the pack.
Of course. She said as she howled as they laughed.
