Blood of Forgotten Memories

HER LIFE here in the palace is very sad. Actually, since she was a kid, she never used to play, even in the garden. because her mother and father forbade her.

She was in her room when someone knocked on her door.

"Come in." She said loudly

"Princess Blanche, the queen wants to talk to you," Marco said. Marco is our servant.

"I'm coming, tell her." She command

"Yes, You're highness." He said

She looked first at the mirror before she went out to her room.

When she reached the queen's room, she took a deep breath before speaking.

"Why are you calling me, Mum?" she asked her mother.

The queen faced her and smiled." You here, C'mon let me hug my Princess."

Much to her surprise, she approached her mother and embraced her.

'What's happening?' She said to herself

she was so surprised because the queen is not like this!

She parted from the hug of her mother and faced her Mum.

"Is something wrong, mother?."

"I just want you to know, you are not young anymore and we are old. Maybe we need to marry you to the prince in the other palace."

Her lips parted. "B-But Mum! I-I don't want t-to to be married!."

"But why?."

"I want to marry the man I love and I don't want to marry a man, just because of the title we have, I don't want to marry just because of the gold and wealth!, I'm sorry I'll excuse myself. your highness." She said and walked away.

So annoying! She said to herself.

"You're high-." She cut the maid off

"Don't talk to me!." She said coldly

And when she reached her room, she locked the door and started crying.

"Why do I need to have this life?!." She said while crying.

She walked to the balcony and whispered.

"I wish I could go out too."

I am so lucky, aren't I?. She said to herself sarcastically.

ON THE other side, the Queen was so disappointed with her only daughter. She wants her daughter to be married because she wants her daughter to be the new queen of the Palace.

"I'm so disappointed!" She shouted

Queen Eliza doesn't know if she will shout in frustration

"I just want the best for her! why can't she understand that?."

She goes out to her room, while her Three servants are behind her.

PRINCESS Blanche Elizabeth doesn't know what to do.

"I want to go out." She whispered to herself

She planned, to go out at night so that the queen and the king would not know

When dinner arrived, the servant called her to eat.

"I heard what happened." The king said seriously

She bowed her head." Sorry."

"Do not try to repeat your decision to reject the decision made for you. we just want the best for you, please understand. you're our only daughter, that's why we made a decision what's best for you." Explained the king.

"Okay, Father. I understand". The Princess said

"Good, let's eat."

WHEN midnight came, she decided to go out to the Palace. Secretly

Making sure there was no one in the hallway of the palace, she continued until she reached their massive gate.

She hid in the tree because there were guards at the gate. Shortly after she saw the guards fall asleep she came out into the palace.

When she got out of the palace, she was so happy. As she continued walking she reached the forest.

"Wow." She whispered, she didn't notice the time.

And she continued to walk in the forest, she was very happy because even though their palace was big, she could only go to the bedroom, kitchen and library, she didn't notice that it was going to be morning

She continued walking when she bumped into... not something but someone!.

"Why are you walking here in the forest? didn't you know that something could happen to you here?" The man said.

"I-I didn't k-know, c-cause-." He cut her off

"Cause?." He asked

"Cause, this is the first time I go out in the palace and I am Princess Blanche Elizabeth."

"y-you are Princess Blanche Elizabeth?!."

"Yeah."

"I'm shocked!." The man said that made her chuckled

"Why are you laughing?." The man asked

"Nothing. So what's your name, mister?."

"I'm Ch-."

"Omg! I forgot!They might know that I'm not in the Palace!I need to go Mister, goodbye." She said and run

HE WAS SO SHOCKED!." What the- oh god!."

He didn't think he would see the princess, because as far as he knew, the King and Queen were hiding her or didn't want to let her out.

He was a hunter. He didn't know if the Princess could speak Tagalog but obviously not, because he knew she only knew Portuguese, Spanish or English.

But he knew they were more fluent in English

But he can also speak with those languages. His Mother and Father taught him.

Since when he was a kid.

His father said that his grandfather taught his father to speak Tagalog so he learned it .. and when his father married his mother, his father also taught his mother.

When he came to their house, he's so tired. So he rests.

' What a day!.

WHEN THE morning came, he fixed himself and got ready to hunt.

"Son, be careful huh ?." A reminder of his mother

"Yes."

The Princess never left his mind as he walked through the forest.

"Tsk Chase, focus," he said to himself

While walking he came across an old man who seemed to have difficulty walking.

So he immediately talked to her. "Are you alright?."

"N-No, n-not me, h-help m-me, p-please h-help m-me." Crying said the old man

"Okay okay." Chase's face was full of concern and pity

"What happened to you ?." He asked

"I don't have a family, I don't have a house and clothes and food."

"O-Okay, so can you tell me, what happened ?." He asked repeatedly

He told the old man that his only daughter had died, a month ago .. he said that his only daughter was with him in life so he said that he was homeless because of the start of bad people in their village.

Surprised by what he heard, he felt even more sorry for the old man.

"I'll be back." He told the old man and left to do his work first so that he would help the old man to go to his house.

THE night came and he returned to the old man where he had left it but on the way, he saw a girl sleeping under a tree.

He wonders why she is sleeping there, it is dangerous in the forest because it is already dark and she might encounter wild animals.

He winced as he approached it. As he

approached, he gradually realized who it was.

Gradually the girl woke up.

"W-what are you doing here ?." He asked

"Oh! Oh my god !." Shocked the Princess said and turned the sesame seeds

"Oh no." Whispered the Princess

"You're that fearless huh? , what are you doing here?." He repeated his question again

"A-Ahm .. I-I." The Princess still seemed to be thinking about what to say to her

"Get up, and return to the palace."

The Princess's face immediately became angry and she looked at it wickedly "Who do you think you are?!."

He was even surprised when he ordered the Princess.

"I'm sorry, your highness"

The princess stood up and looked at him wickedly and walked away, but

soon after, she saw it come back.

"What's y-your name ?."

"Chase Holter, Princess."

WHEN the Princess left, Chase immediately returned to the old man.

He knew he didn't understand Tagalog, so he spoke to him in English.

"Do you finish your food?" He asked the old man.

"Yes, Mister... Thank you very much,"

The answer of the old man.

"You're welcome, C'mon I'll take you to our house," Smiling Chase said

"You are ... so kind," The old man said seriously while looking into Chase's eyes.

"Don't mention it.. of course, I helped you because you need help,"

UNTIL now the Princess does not know how she can enter the Palace, because their huge gate is already closed.

"This is all my fault! Why do I need to fell asleep?!" Annoyed she said to herself

She did nothing but, stay outside and wait for the morning.

After a few hours of waiting outside, she heard their gate open.

"Thank you, Lord! At last," Said the princess

She looked again at the guards at the gate when she saw that they had turned their backs. She immediately entered. Walk running she did.

She went to the back of the palace, to pass through. She remembered that the window in her room was open and she had put a long blanket on so she could go upstairs

She took a deep breath before starting to climb with the blanket into her room

Days go by and that's what she does, she goes out the window with a blanket and that's what she does when she comes back

She was very happy because no one caught her

So now she is very happy because her parents are going to an event, so she can leave for free

When her parents left, she waited thirty minutes before leaving their palace

She had been leaving for a few days and was going into the woods but she hadn't seen Chase Holter

That's why when she comes home, she feels sad again because she wanted to make friends with him, so if she have a story or problem, she would have more fun if she could talk to someone.

SOME DAYS Chase could not hunt because he got sick, so his recovery will be fast.

While lying down, he remembered the Princess again so he smiled

He also wonders why Blanche Elizabeth was not allowed to out. In the story of her mother and father, it is said that the Princess is not shown .. because the Queen and King are afraid that the princess will like someone, they don't want to because someone is destined to marry her

TSS, nonsense

FOR A FEW DAYS he has been in bed and he is finally able to return to work.

He hoped he would see the princess there again, but even the end of her dress. He did not see.

"Waiting for her?" He was surprised by the man who talked so he turned around.

When he looked to his right, he saw a man, maybe in his forty plus

"What?" He knew that the man was referring to a princess, but he pretend that he didn't know what the man is talking about.

"Tss, you're waiting for the Princess hahaha !"

"What?! Hell no!" But he was really waiting.

"Tsk, tsk .. don't me! Hahahaha,"

"Stop laughing, will you?!" Annoyed he said to the man.

"Okay, okay, my name is Charlie .. and I know that you're waiting for her,"

the man named Charlie says it seriously.

"So what?!"

"Don't be upset, the princess always comes here. And seems to always be looking for something and when she does not find what she is looking for she sadly leaves," He pretended to say sadly and then laughed again.

"W-Why are you telling me this?" He asked with a frown.

"Nothing, just a little info. Hahahaha!"

"Tss, you're crazy," He said and left there.

Is the Princess looking for something? What is that?

The Princess did NOT come out of the palace, tonight.

Because she knew Chase is not there...

So she just entertained herself with Reading

The King and Queen also went home last night. She stayed in her room and kept reading. She reads a 'Forbidden Love story'.

"They just want to love each other, but why are they forbidden?"

She whispered. Even though she knew that the story is wasn't true, she felt pity.

she suddenly thought of Chase Holter and shook her head to get that out of her mind.

TWO days without her leaving their palace. She hasn't seen Chase for a few days .. but now, she will come out and if she sees him, she will say she wants to be friends.. with him

When night came, she did not go out immediately because the queen was still talking to her.

"Mom, how many times do I tell you?" Exhausted hope she said to the mother.

"Do you want me to get mad at you, huh?!" Her mother yelled

"Okay, do what ever you want! Excuse me," Annoyed she said and went out of the mother's room.

She just closes her eyes to remember what her father said.

Her mother would surely tell her father about her refusal.

So she immediately left the palace, when she reached the forest, she could not hide her joy when she saw Chase there in the tree. The tree where she slept.

she sneezed before speaking. "Chase!"

Chase looked at her in shock.

"Princess?"

IS THIS .. really happening?! Chase said to himself

"Princess?" He also calls the princess and stands up. Earlier he was sitting under the Tree.

"H-How are you?" The princess asked, to his surprise. He thought she would hurt him.

"I-I'm okay, how about you?"

"I'm fine,"

"T-That's good to hear," He said smiling.

"I haven't seen you in days or weeks," The Princess added.

"yeah, I got sick," He said with a bow and scratched his head.

"It's nice that you're okay now." The Princess said with a smile.

"Mm,"

"I have to tell you something," The princess said so she looked up.

"What is it?" His forehead wrinkled.

"Ahm... I'm shy but I want to ask you something,"

"What is it?"

"Can we be friends? it's okay if you don't want it,"

"No, of course, I want to,"

"That's good to hear .... friends?" The Princess asked and she held out her hand in front of chase which chase immediately accepted.

"Friends," He said with a smile. He doesn't know what will happen but he accepted it wholeheartedly

SINCE they became friends, they have always met in a tree.

"You're indeed beautiful.." Chase whispered

"What?! I didn't understand you,"

"Oh, It's nothing.." actually it's not

It's been a week or almost a month since they became friends

"Are you sure?" The princess asks. She literally don't understand because Chase's voice is too low

"Yeah," and he laugh

"Why are you laughing? Is there something funny?" Princess Blanche's forehead wrinkled

"Nothing, don't mind me,"

"You know? You're weird haha,"

"Am i weird?"

"Yes!"And then. They laugh

"If I'm weird, you're beautiful,"

"Huh? Thanks?" The Princess looked away when she felt her cheeks reddened

"You're blushing," He smirks as he said that

"What?! No way!" The Princess deny it

Chase keeps on laughing and teasing her

"Will you please stop laughing?! You're annoying!" The Princess added

"Hahaha, okay, I'll stop now. I will ask you a question. why do you always go out at night?" Chase stopped laughing and ask her seriously

He notice that his question makes the Princess uncomfortable

"The truth is I'm just fleeing always, because I'm not allowed to go out," Princess Blanche answered with a low voice

"What if, they find out? What will you do?"

"I-I don't know, let's not talk about it," She force her self to smile, so that Chase will not be uncomfortable.

They had a great time that night, they talked about things, and there was a lot of laughter.

So when dawn came, he took the Princess to the palace.

When he arrived at their home, his mother immediately met him.

"Why're you still awake, Mom?" He ask

"I was waiting for you, why're you always came home late? You wasn't like this before,"

"I'm sorry Mom," he let out a deep breath and hugs his mom

He told his mother how he met the Princess from the beginning, he did not forget to tell the full details.

"You and the Princess are friends? Just be careful.. at the forest! You know it's dangerous there!"

"Yes, Mother,"

"Tsk, tsk..what if you and the Princess could be here at night? and no longer in the forest, I'm worried..."

"Really, Mom? Okay i will tell her!" Chase is so happy. He can introduce his parents to the Princess

THE morning came and he was in front of their house to fetch water from the well.

From the moment he woke up, there was a smile on his lips, he was just shaking his head because he looked.. what ever

What's so fun about picking up a water?

"What the heck?! Hahahaha," Chase was shock because someone talked and when he look up he saw his friend. Jose

"Jose,"

"Why are you smiling?" Jose ask to him while laughing.

"What's wrong? Hahaha. I'm just happy, man,"

"Is that so? Okay, how's life?"

His smile widely." Happy." His life became so happy when he met the Princess

"What the.. oh men, you're in love aren't you?"

"Tch! Don't mind me hahaha, get lost." He joked

"Hahaha, i have to go Mr. Happy or... Mr. Inlove?."

"Tsk, you know what? Just get lost. I just found a friend," Then he laugh shortly

The night came and he fix his things so that he can go to the forest. His mother gave him a bottle of water and some bread.

"Be Careful okay?"

"Yes, Mom," he smiled to his mom

As he made his way to the forest, he was night hunting because there were many hunters in the morning and there was almost nothing to catch so he preferred that night.

When he was done, he made his way to the tree where he would meet the Princess. He was happy to walk there because it was the first time he would take the Princess to their house.

'I hope she agree.' He said in his mind. Though other part of him is nervous... what if Queen and King will find out?

He was very happy when he saw the Princess carrying a basket.

"Princess!" He called the princess.

"Oh! Hey,"

"Ahm, I want to invite you to our house," He is so shy to say

Though unexpected, she agreed"I-I would love to go,"

"That's good, c'mon my mom is waiting for us!"

When they arrived, they saw mom Chase at the door with a big smile

"It's nice to finally meet you, Princess Blanche Elizabeth of Royal Palace," Chase' mom said and bow her head to gave respect

"It's nice to meet you too, Mrs Holter, "

They sat on the floor with a mat while eating strawberries, and assorted fruits brought by the Princess.

Chase felt ashamed because the Princess brought them food.

"What's with that look?" The Princess ask him while eating grapes

"Nothin' i just find you cute,"

"W-What? Haha," The Princess hide her smile

"Aw, my Princess is blushing,"

DID he just say my Princess?.

"W-What did you say?" She's still hiding her smile.. and she's know she's blushing

Chase was immediately stunned and it was as if what was said just now sinks into him." I-I said, you're blushing,"

"N-No, not that.. before you said I'm blushing,"

"Oh, that.. my Princess?"

the Princess can't hide her smile anymore and her Heart throbbed rapidly.

"Let's finish these fruits," She change the topic

When they finish, she stand up and say goodbye

"It was nice to meet you, Your highness," sincerely Chase' mother said

"So am I, I promise I'll be back tomorrow night,"

When they walking to Palace, she ask Chase

"So, are you happy?" She asked while smiling

"Am I," Chase answered

"Me too..." she bit her lower lip

"Oh, my childhood friend will be back tomorrow," She saw happiness in Chase eyes

"Oh, so what's his name?"

"Not his, but her.. and her name is Mira Amethyst,"

"O-Okay," She don't know why but.. she feel her heart cracked maybe because Chase has another girl friend

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, thank you for tonight I need to go,"

"I didn't notice that we're here haha, good night, Princess," Chase waved his hand

When she lay down to her bed, she smiled.

She don't know why, maybe because Chase introduced her to his mother. But he introduced her as a friend. Wait. She's only Chase' friend. Yeah. Only a friend

Wait. Did she want more than friend? Oh, that's not right. Friend is a Friend and Chase is her friend only a friend.

'I'm not in love with him.. I'm not' she said to herself

So many thoughts in her head and she just want to clear all of her thoughts. She can't be in love with her friend.. it doesn't matter to her if Chase is only a Hunter and she's a Princess, she's just thinking about Chase safety, what if.. just what if. If her and Chase is in a relationship and her parents found it out. She knows what her parents can do.

So.. she can't be in love with Chase.. she can't..
