"I didn't have an affair, Drake... I swear I didn't," Lily cried out to the cold and ruthless man standing before her.

"Don't tell me that the two children you are carrying are mine! I will never allow you to give birth to someone else's child!" Drake Bell said mercilessly and shouted, "guards!"

At once, two burly looking guards walked in, "get her inside the car, we are heading to the hospital." After saying this, he walked out.

"Drake....Drake..." Lily shouted with a breaking heart. Tears were rushing heavily down her face. This was her husband, the man she had loved for many years, she had been obedient and submissive to him and his family hoping that one day, his cold heart will melt. She was well aware that he never loved her but she didn't believe she would lay hands on her own children.

The baby inside of her was was for her husband as she never had any affair with anyone outside of their marriage,Now they were taking her to the hospital and she couldn't imagine what was going to happen next.

Lily began to struggle from the guard's firm grip, "let me be... Leave me...I don't want to go to the hospital. What do you want to do? let me go!" she shouted heartbreakingly and used all her strength in an attempt to free herself but the men were way stronger than her.

In a few seconds, she had been stuffed inside the guard's car. Drake Bell's car lead the guard's car to the hospital. As soon as both cars parked, Drake's driver stepped down quickly and opened the door for him.

Stepping down from the Lamborghini, all eyes set on him, he was extremely popular for his wealth plus he had a beauty like that of a goddess. He was hot and was many ladies dream man. He had million of followers on the internet and he was rarely seen in public. He was the richest man in the continent.

A few people around already brought their phone to take pictures of him, his guards attempted to stop them but he told them not to bother. As a public figure, he was already used to being on camera whenever he appears in public.

Lily was dragged out of the guard's car by the guards and was made to follow after Drake Bell, who was walking ahead smartly and magnificently. He exudes the nobility of a king but at the same time, his aura was a dangerous one. His handsome face was impossible to behold.

Whereas, as Lily was being dragged behind him, Lily kept sobbing quietly. She knew that no matter how she tried to fight this from happening, it will still happen. Drake Bell was very powerful and he gets whatever he wants. Lily was too small to fight a man like Drake Bell.

Lily soon found herself being sent into the operating room, her mind blank. Drake actually wanted to ruin their baby?

She couldn't help trembling. Everything happened too fast.

She stopped struggling in fright.

Drake Bell walked in and said to her, "fighting at this point is useless, I highly advise you corporate with the doctor. If they complain you struggle with them, I'll make this harder for you."

As he turned to leave, Lily realized that Drake was leaving, she rushed to him and knelt before him, holding his pant trouser with heavy tears falling off her swollen face, "you are my husband, how can you do this to me? We have been married for five years and I've never made friend with any man talkless of having an affair."

He yanked her hand off his trouser and said angrily, "woman!" His hard voice almost sent her shivering heart away, "don't place that dirty hands of yours on me again. The last time I touched you was thirteen months ago, how then can you claim I own the baby? Is it not logical to think that you crave for sex so much and since your husband isn't giving you, you sought for it in another man?"

"Drake..." Lily cried earnesly. She wanted to explain to him that he had a night stand with her in his drunken state a few days ago but the man already left her presence.

Lily felt as if her heart was being butchered. She felt as though several sharp pins were being punched into her heart. Her heart bleeds in pain and her eyes poured heavy tears. While sobbing painfully on her knees, the door opened and on raising her head, she saw the doctor walked in.

"Please lay on the bed, Mrs. Bell, this wouldn't take time and it wouldn't be much painful," the doctor said as he went ahead to the kits he would use in performing the surgical abortion.

With tears rushing down her face, she laid on the bed. She had been married for five years but had not conceived. Now that she conceived, her husband didn't want them. As she laid hopelessly on the bed, she placed her hand on her belly and mumbled, "baby, mommy wish to fight for you but my strength is little. I wish I can bore you and have you as my companion. You would have been my joy, my happiness but I'm sorry..." She cried even as her voice trailed off.

The doctor stood before her and commenced the abortion procedure.

Forty minutes later, the doctor walked over to where Drake Bell was. He was with his Numerous bodyguards.

"Sir, The surgery is over and everything went well, sir." The doctor reported.

"Good." Drake Bell said and walked out of the hospital with his guards.

Lily's eyes fluttered open and realizing she was still in the hospital, her heart ached. She sat upright and looked at her lap, she saw traces of blood there and her heart shrinked in pain.

She threw her legs to the ground in pain and managed to stand up. She walked out of the hospital, took a taxi and went straight to the Civil Affairs Bureau, filed for divorce, and took the divorce papers to Drake Bell's villa.

She slammed the divorce agreement on the table and looked at her ex-husband coldly, "You are not worthy to be called a husband. You are not worthy to be the father of my child. Drake Bell, you killed your innocent Son, I was blind to love you for five years. You will pay dearly for what you have done today."

Drake's heart stopped for a second as Lily continued to insist that the baby was his.

He hesitated for a second.

But his face was still grim. He can't be wrong, he stands by his point of view. He won't regret it.

Lily took her clothes and left Drake Bell's villa.

It has been two weeks since she left Drake Bell's villa. She has been sleeping on the street and living a hard life, but she would rather be a beggar than return to Drake Bell's villa.

Recently she felt unwell and came to the hospital for examination.

When she saw the test results she came to the hospital for, Lily was stunned.

Wasn't her pregnancy aborted?

How come the outcome of the test she did stated that she was pregnant?

She didn't have intercourse with anyone after leaving Drake Bell's villa so how then did she get pregnant?

Or was the pregnancy not aborted?

Then, at the hospital, when the abortion was about to take place, she suddenly went unconscious and only woke up to see blood on her laps.

Well, the most important thing here is that she's pregnant. This time, she will protect her baby with her life. Her utterly depressed mind lightened up, it was as if she just saw a new ray of hope to hold onto. The past two weeks had been hell for her as she had been barely surviving alone.

"Baby, thank you for staying alive. Mommy will protect you with her life this time," she mumbled as she rubbed her belly, then she walked out of the hospital.

If her belly start to protude here in New York, anyone related to her ex husband could see her and then, her ex husband may want to hurt her baby again, out of fear, she took the next available train and went to another city.

Six years later, Lily returned back to New York alongside two beautiful kids. This time, she was now a top and popular designer. She had taken up her passion for design in the city that she travelled to years ago and in a space of six years, her skill had made her rose to the top.

She had come back to the city cause the company she works for, Yenny Designs had sent her to represent them in the joint partnership forming between them and the biggest engineering company in New York, Bell's LTD.

Lily knew that the company she would be working with here was for her ex husband, only that her ex husband, Drake Bell had no idea that the top designer his company would be working with was his ex wife. How can she take revenge on how her ex husband tried to kill her baby in the past if she didn't get close to him? Getting to work with him would definitely give her the chance to enact her revenge of ruining him.

Although her twin survived the abortion, she felt like it was the doctor's doing, perhaps, the doctor's conscience couldn't let him kill her innocent babies. But the fact that Drake Bell didn't mind killing her kids means he deserves to experience an intense pain and she will definitely make it happen.

"Mommy has finished cooking, come and eat," Lily said and lead her kids right inside the room.

Lily ate with her beautiful kids and the following morning, after dropping her kids off at school, she drove over to where Bell's LTD company was located. It was a skyscraper with tens of floors. Lily had already spoken to the Bell's LTD agent and had told them she would be coming for her first meeting today.

She soon stepped down from her beautiful Mercedes AMG, dressed adorably and astonishingly, she placed a call across to the agent to notify them she was around. The agent immediately promised to come and receive her.

Apparently, everyone in Bell's LTD company had all been anticipating to see this popular designer that was coming to partner with their company. There had been many rumors about her. No one in New York suspect that this popular designer was Lily, since Lily used a nickname, Dark Wealth.

As Lily approached the entrance of the skyscraper, a woman and two tall men in suits walked towards her. On looking clearly, she realized that this woman was Amelia, Drake Bell's childhood sweetheart. She was dressed corporately and looked good.

Amelia paused on seeing Lily, it's been many years that Lily dissapeared from New York, she didn't expect for her to suddenly appear out of nowhere. Although they didn't have any relationship, they both recognized eachother.

"Lily, it's been a long time. How are you doing?" Amelia asked with a faint smile on her lips.

"I'm good, as you can see. Are you the one here to receive me?" Lily asked. She can already guess that Amelia was the agent she had been speaking with on phone. "Let's not waste time, lead me quick to where the meeting will be held." Lily spoke elegantly.

However, Amelia scoffed. She couldn't deny the fact that Lily was dressed gorgeously and looked great but still, she didn't believe Lily could be the top designer she had been anticipating to meet.

"Lily, I can't remember having an appointment with you. I'm actually here to receive miss Dark Wealth, the popular designer that will be working with us here, you must have heard about her, I guess." Amelia said, "so sorry to dissapoint you but I won't stoop so low to receive you." Amelia said and walked proudly away from her alongside the two men behind her.

Lily smirked and walked out of the building, as soon as she got to the underground garage where her car was parked, her phone rang. Seeing that it was the agent, Amelia, she answered.

"Miss Dark Wealth, I'm already waiting for you outside the building but I can't see you," Amelia said.

"I already came but you didn't honor me, I'll be here same time tomorrow but if you treat me the same way you treat me today then I will have to cancel the partnership that's about to subsists between our company and yours and put all the blame on you," Lily said and hung up.

Lily knew that Amelia must be wondering if she was actually the popular 'miss dark Wealth," that she had been expecting, She soon drove away from the company and branched at the mall to get her children some groceries. This was a new city and she was still trying to set up her home. She didn't have much groceries at home.

She soon stepped inside the mall and while shopping, she suddenly heard loud noises coming from outside. Discerning the type of noises that suddenly erupted outside, she could tell that a prominent figure had come to the mall. Afterall, the mall was a super big mall so it's normal for prominent and powerful people to patronize this place.

Lisa ignored and continued shopping, when she was done, she pushed her cart over to the cashier and after all the stuffs she bought were calculated, the cashier stated the total amount of all she bought then she brought her card out but as she was about to stretch it to the cashier, a deep voice spoke from behind, "I'll pay."

Lily paused, she was stunned. Why would anyone want to pay her bill. She flipped her head to the back and was shocked to see...Drake Bell. He was dressed in deep black suits that fits his slim body perfectly.

Lily's suddenly became extremely angry.

She had loved this man for many years. He ignored her explanation and insisted on labeling her cheating.

Cruelly sent her to the operating table, trying to take away her children.

When he appeared, he still had such a peaceful face, as if nothing had happened?

He had a face that was totally devoid of emotion, Lily soon realized that everyone seemed to have departed from the mall. Apparently, they evacuated everyone from the mall just so one man could shop. Is this how power works? Lily wondered.

"Mr. Drake Bell, thank you for your proposal, but I still have this little money."

Lily restrained her emotions, unwilling to talk to him, as if they had never established a relationship. Looking at this man more than once made her sick.

"You can pick even more stuffs and I'll foot the bill," Drake Bell insisted.

Lily ignored him and turned to the cashier then stretched her card to her, "please take and withdraw the amount of the groceries I purchased." However, the cashier had her eyes on Drake Bell, she was scared to receive the card from Lily.

"Miss Lily, kindly let me pay." Drake Bell restated.

"No! Who do you think you are, Mr. Drake Bell, and I don't think we have anything to do with each other anymore. Please leave me alone." Lily screamed angrily.

She had been trying to contain her anger all these while but he hates that he was trying to play nice in public, when infact, he's worse than a devil. He was on a mission to ruthlessly kill her twin many years ago and here he was, acting all nice.

"Let her pay," Drake Bell succumbed and took steps back.

In a jiffy, Lily made payment and carried her stuffs out of the mall, intentionally ignoring Drake Bell who was still inside the mall.

On getting inside her car, she slammed her two hands on the steering, "Drake Bell, you may be powerful...so powerful but I'll show you that I can appear fragile but I can't be mess with."

She started her car and drove away roughly. Whereas, Drake Bell stood upstairs in the mall, watching through the transparent glassy window as Lily got inside her car, as she drove away, he commanded. "Find out where she lives."

His two assistants that stood closer to him responded at once. "Okay, sir."

The following day, at Bell's LTD executive room 1, there sat Amelia and some chief officers of the company, Lily was also among. They were all awaiting the presence of the CEO, Drake Bell.

Amelia had now confirmed that Lily was actually the top designer who bears Dark Wealth. She was shocked and embarrassed to find out. How did Drake Bell's ex wife end up becoming a top designer? Amelia was troubled about Lily's sudden return. The fact that she may be working here in Bell's LTD even troubled her the more. Won't working here make Lily get close to Drake Bell? She had worked hard all these years just to win the heart of Drake Bell but Drake barely gives her attention. He only regarded her as his childhood sweetheart but nothing more.

Amelia hoped that since there was no woman around Drake Bell, she could still win his heart someday but with the sudden presence of Lily, her hopes were beginning to fade.

Soon, Drake Bell and his two assistants, Liam and Sarah followed him inside the executive room. As soon as everyone noticed his presence, they sat upright and were cautious to even breath. Once upon a time, Drake Bell had fired three hundred staffs from his company cause he got to the meeting hall two minutes before them.

Drake Bell was dreadful to say the least and he's always on his icy look. Soon, he sat on the central seat while his two assistants sat close to him. Other staffs were already seated around the round table.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, is miss Dark Wealth already here with us?" Drake Bell greeted and asked, glancing his face around the people seated.

"I'm here, Mr. Drake Bell. Nice to meet you," Lily said, Drake Bell set his gaze at her on once. He was utterly shocked to realize that Lily was the top designer that his company would be working with.

His ex wife... Now a top designer... How?

He put his emotions under control, nodded and said, "you are welcome." He replied flatly and gave an order for his male assistant to commence the meeting. After an hour, the meeting came to an end and everyone began to leave the room but as Lily made an attempt to walk away, Sarah, the female personal assistant to Drake Bell appeared before her and said, "miss Dark Wealth, the CEO requested for you to wait behind, please."

Lily looked towards where Drake Bell was, he was still seated majestically on the same spot. Lily simply nodded. Soon, everyone evacuated the executive room including the two assistants of Drake Bell but the assistants stood outside the office, by the entrance waiting for Drake Bell to come out.

Amelia walked up to the two assistants, Liam and Sarah and asked, "Mr. Liam, Miss. Sarah, it seems the CEO and Lily are alone in the room?"

"They have some business matters to discuss. She's our new partner so it's okay if the CEO decides to meet with her in private," Sarah answered.

Why were Liam and Sarah sounding like they didn't know Lily and Drake Bell used to be husband and wife? Amelia thought. Liam and Sarah had been Drake Bell's assistant for more than half a decade. They know so many things about him.

"Mr. Liam..."

Liam interrupted Amelia before she could continue, "I know what you are about to say but I'll advise you not to spread unnecessary rumor, you may end up in Mr. Drake's black book."

"You should leave now, miss Amelia," Sarah added. Amelia felt embarrassed and walked away. She was the top manager of the company and was respected by most workers here except Liam and Sarah of course.

Sarah turned and began to walk away, she immediately placed a call across to her mom, once her mom answered, she spoke, "mom, Lily is back." She added sorrowfully," and she's even in the same room alone with Drake Bell as we speak."

After a few seconds of silence at the other end, Amelia's mom, Mila cursed with a gritted teeth, "that bitch! I'll handle it, don't worry sweetheart."

Whereas, Lily stood gallantly at the executive room. Her face was bold and totally devoid of fear. She didn't look like the gentle Lily of the past, she used to be timid all through out her years as Drake Bell's wife but now, she looked as tough and fearless as a lion.

"Sit," he said.

"I'm okay this way. We were done highlighting my works here at the just concluded meeting, I do not understand why you request to see me here alone," Lily said.

Drake Bell stood and walked to her, "did you eventually had the baby?"

"What baby?"

"The doctor eventually confessed that he didn't perform the abortion on you, he said his conscience wouldn't let him," Drake Bell explained.

Now Lily understood clearly how her pregnancy survived. She played along and said, "you forced me to the hospital to have my babies killed. Technically, I'll call you a murderer. Do you think I'll nurture such pregnancy knowing the type of person you are? I aborted the pregnancy myself and moved on with my life."

"You shouldn't have," he said immediately, a hint of regret filled his face, "I was very wrong to make such attempt to abort your pregnancy. I began to regret my actions after finding out that I actually had a night stand with you in my drunken state. I thought you had an affair..." He gritted his teeth in agony.

Lily scoffed. See who's regretting now? "If there is nothing else to take about, I'll like to take my leave."

Drake Bell suddenly grabbed her wrist, "Lily, why are you acting this cold? You use to love and adore me..."

"Until you made an attempt to kill my baby," Lily interrupted and yanked her hand off, "you are an heartless devil and I can never forgive you."

"Lily... We all make mistakes, I'm ready to make up for it. I'll give you everything you want this time." He said seriously and added, "I've made a background research about you and realized you don't have any man around you. How about we start again? Let's leave the past behind and start a new life?"

He continued passionately, "I know I treated you like you worth nothing to me. I shouldn't have been cold to you just because you couldn't conceive, I shouldn't have starved you of affection and love. Lily, you have to find a place in your heart to forgive me."

"Too late," Lily answered.

"Too late?"

"I don't love you anymore and infact, I wish the worst upon you. Requesting for the both of us to be together again, huh? You must be dreaming, Mr. Drake Bell. Let's focus on the business we have together and let's hope we can make a success out of it. I'm willing to make the company I represent proud," she said and carried her small handbag that she had dropped on the table, "bye, Mr. Drake Bell."

As she took a step to walk away, he grabbed her wrist again and spoke gently, "how about a dinner tomorrow? don't say no."

Lily wanted to yank her hand off his grip but his grip was too hard, he wouldn't let her go. He looked obsessed. But Lily was feeling very uncomfortable with his touch.

"Okay, I'll come." Only after she agreed was she able to pull off her wrist. She immediately walked out of the room. She had only said she will come just so she could escape his sight, the truth is she will never attend a dinner with such an heartless man.

She suddenly sighted a giant and handsome man who had a slight resemblance with Drake Bell. This man... She saw him during her wedding with Drake Bell many years ago. Her brain suddenly picked, he was Drake Bell's uncle. She remembered Drake Bell calling him uncle then.

("I've made a background research about you and realized you don't have any man around you.) Drake Bell's words suddenly rang in her head. So because she didn't have any man around her, Drake Bell thinks he would be able to access her easily, huh?

She immediately ran to meet the giant man, apparently, he was walking towards Drake Bell's office.

"Hi," Lily greeted with a refreshing smile. This giant man, Alexander Bell lived most of his life abroad and barely come home unless it's very important. He barely stays in the city. He didn't even recognize Lily to be Drake Bell's ex wife.

"Hi," he replied, trying to figure whom she is. Seeing how he addressed him, Lily could tell that she had no idea whom she is. That's even perfect for her plan.

"My name is Lily, am I beautiful enough to your taste? Will you like to marry me?" She asked.

The giant man's eyes furrowed in shock. He wasn't expecting that in his wierdest mind.
