Six years ago,
"Cara, you are late again!" the manager of the local eatery shouted as he watched a young girl around the age of twenty-one, rushing inside through the back door of the restaurant, dressed in a pair of blue jeans with an old black t-shirt.
"I'm sorry, sir! I missed the bus and had to walk four miles to reach here." Cara apologized in her softest voice, panting, trying to catch a breath, and took out a white shirt and black miniskirt from her bag.
"Change quickly. It's the fucking peak hour, you lazy ass!!" He sneered, and Cara rushed inside the washroom. She changed into a white shirt and a short miniskirt, quickly pulling her long, dark blonde hair into a ponytail, and sighed looking at her pale face in the mirror.
She applied a baby pink lip gloss on her dried lips and tied a red and white checked apron around her waist, and dashed out to fix her white cap, only to meet the cold eyes of the manager who handed her a notebook and pen, gesturing for her to serve the couple sitting at the last table. Cara nodded and started her day cheerfully.
"Two cheese bacon, egg hash, and two filtered coffees, please." She communicated the order to the chef and heaved when Sandra, her co-worker, nudged her arm.
"What caught you up again?"
"What does the look on my face explain?" Cara lifted an eyebrow.
"Oh! I get it. But don't you think it's high time you take a stand for yourself?" Sandra encouraged, but Cara yawned in response. "I don't know your tragic story, but the lead should always fight back!"
"I'm tired." She said when the chef slid the tray full of exotic food in her direction, an enticing aroma hit her nostrils, and her stomach growled in response. "And I just realized I'm hungry."
"Thank you, chef!" She smiled at the old man and quickly made a move, serving the happy couple. "Enjoy!" As she turned to leave, a voice interrupted her.
"Excuse me,"
A chill ran down her spine, and Cara halted in her tracks, recognizing the contempt in the voice. She tilted her head to the right and goosebumps appeared on her skin as her hazel eyes met with none other than Cynthia Glazier.
"Get me some more red wine!" The woman ordered nonchalantly, not sparing a glance in Cara's direction, and the latter stood rooted in her place as if she had seen a ghost. The woman finished her drink and shifted her focus to Cara, who shivered under her gaze.
"Y-Yes, r-right away!" She stammered out and sprinted to the bar section of the restaurant. "W-wine!" she stammered and looked around for Sandra, but she was nowhere in sight.
"Why are you wasting your time looking here and there?" The manager scolded her, and Cara looked at him with doe-like eyes. "Take the damn order and serve!" He growled, keeping his volume in check. Cara nodded, getting the wine and walking over to the woman, who crossed her legs under the table and stared at her with an amused expression on her face.
Cara served the wine, but she was so nervous under the woman's constant gaze that she accidentally spilled it over her expensive white dress. "I'm sorry!!" Her face turned pale, and she quickly took some napkins to help.
The woman glared at her. "Stay away from me. Call your manager!" she growled in Cara's face, and the latter gulped, apologizing continuously.
"What have you done, Cara?" The manager appeared to save the day. "We apologize for the mistake, Mrs. Glazier!"
"Mistake! This girl standing here is a big-time mistake. She spoiled my expensive dress. Do you even check the staff before hiring them?" Every set of eyes in the restaurant turned to the scene. "I demand you fire her right now!" The woman crossed her arms across her chest and demanded.
"Please, forgive me," Cara's eyes filled with tears, and she was ready to beg her, sitting at her feet.
"Get the fuck out of my sight, you lowlife!" The woman threw a disgusted look at her. "Are you firing her? Or do you want me to make your small eatery famous for atrocious services?"
The manager wasted no time in making a decision. "Cara, you're fired!" He dismissed Cara without delay, but the latter continued to beg deaf ears until the guard threw her out.
A sinister smile spread across the face of the woman as she watched Cara through the glass window, standing outside, helpless and sobbing.

Grayson Group of Hotels,
Aries's piercing grey eyes checked the picture of the woman in the waitress uniform that his cousin Genelia had sent him. "Who is she now?" He frowned, texting her before turning off his phone for the staff meeting.
"Grayson Group of Hotels should always be on the top!" Aries spoke, his deep voice commanding the attention of all his employees. "Our forthcoming hotel will be constructed in New Orleans, and I will designate a few of you to spearhead the initiative."
Every face lit up with a smile, wishing for that one golden chance that could launch them straight into the sky, as working with Aries Grayson was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
"I will conduct an internal assessment in a couple of days, and those who qualify will have the privilege of co-leading this project with me." Rising from his high executive chair, he announced the news with a confident smile, buttoning his jacket.
"Meeting adjourned." His gruff voice echoed in the conference room as he made his exit, with his assistant close behind.
"What is next?" Aries strode into his office and made his way around the desk, easing himself into the comfortable high-rise executive armchair and switching his phone on.
"You are done for the day. Tomorrow you have a business dinner with Russian investors and Mr. Simon Sanchez will join you." The assistant answered, and just then Simon, the financial advisor of the company, and his friend walked into his office unannounced.
"And before that, you're meeting your grandma for lunch today!" He smirked in his direction and Aries huffed.
"I know why she's calling me,"
"Still, you've got to join her! She doesn't take no for an answer! The old woman is still authoritative!"
Aries picked up on the sound of his phone ringing as Simon spoke to him, and he noticed his cousin Genelia's name flashing on the screen. "Excuse me," He signals for them to give him some privacy.
The moment the door shut, he responded to her call. "You should look into this matter! You've got to help me, Aries! You promised to help me!" Genelia's distress was escalating with every ticking second, and Aries was losing his composure.
"Will you be fucking stop ranting? What are you talking about?"
"You promised to help me. You said Natalie will be out of Keith's life before I step into New York." Genelia said. "But you've done absolutely nothing so far to kick her out of Keith's life! And now I see him holding another woman in the middle of the running road! Who the fuck is she?" she shouted over the phone call.
"How the fuck I'm supposed to know!" Aries retorted in an equally high pitch. "I'm the fucking CEO, not your Keith's stalker! Get a life, lady!"
Genelia fell silent, anxious that he might retract his offer to help. "Look, I agreed to help you kick Natalia out because she is a fucking slut, sleeping around behind his back. I want to help my friend see her true color. Though, do not hope for anything further from me."
There was a long silence between them. "And stop stalking the cop, damn it! What if Keith finds out you're stalking him?" He gritted his teeth.
"Why are you shouting at me?" She cried. "I was worried and I could only talk to you about it! Fine, I don't need your help!"
Aries drew a deep breath and asked calmly. "Who is this girl in the picture?"
"Keith was seen with her on the road. She was seen walking down the road mindlessly when Keith saved her from an accident. My informer saw them talking for a few minutes and then Keith handed over his card to her!"
Aries was at a loss for words. "Hello, are you there?" Genelia glanced at the screen.
"Are you freaking crazy or what?" Aries knitted his eyebrow. "He just saved that girl from an accident!"
"But why did he give his card to her?" She asked in a high pitch.
Aries gritted his teeth and looked at his phone screen. "I'm hanging up. Grandma is calling."
"Aries, I bet something is going on between them. Why would he give his card to her? I'm sending you a picture. Have a look at it!" Genelia ended the call. Aries watched the picture she sent to him when another text popped up on the screen from her. "Her name is Cara Silencio, and she got fired from her job this morning,"

From the Brooklyn Bridge, Cara had a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline in the distance. Her enchanting hazel eyes were shedding tears, and she cursed her life. She recalled an incident from the morning when she boarded a bus to reach the café where she worked as a waitress.
At the next stop, two men boarded the bus and their eyes settled on her. Unaware of them, Cara took out an apple from her bag. The men in black pants and leather jackets reached to stand where she was sitting.
A look of horror crossed Cara's face as her eyes landed on them and the apple fell from her hand. Her eyes reflected her deepest fear. One of them smirked in her direction, and she quickly tears her eyes from them, looking out of the window. Her heart pounded in her chest.
It took her some minutes to gather her thoughts when the bus stopped at one of the busiest stations and she saw the maximum of the passengers rising to their feet to leave. Cara took advantage of it, as she knew they wouldn't highlight it in public, and rushed out. Both the men chased her but lost track of her on the busy road.
And that's how she got late for her job... again!
"Are you all right, dear?" Passing by, the old couple stopped and Cara snapped back to reality.
"Yes, thank you!" She smiled in their direction, wiping her tears.
"Everything is gonna be fine!" The woman patted her back, and they left. Cara continued to stare at the sunset.
"Why didn't you take me with you, Dad? It's so hard to live," her voice clouded with emotions as she rubbed her face. "They've tracked me down again! Cynthia Glazier and Alfred Doyle won't leave me alone! They won't rest until I take my life." She cried helplessly and her hands trembled as she covered her face.

Aries and his grandmother chatted and caught up on old times over their delicious lunch. "You're twenty-eight, Aries! Perfect age to get married." Clara, his grandmother, chattered away while he savored his chicken, listening intently.
"I've shortlisted some girls for you and you're going on a date with them. You need to settle down now. I want to play with your kids!" she said. Aries glanced into her dreamy eyes and sighed, realizing she was daydreaming again.
"Grandma, I don't need to get married to give you grandkids. Just tell me how many you want?" A self-satisfied smirk played across his face, only to be met with a sharp smack from his grandmother to his biceps, accompanied by a disapproving glare.
"Why are you not excited about getting married? Not ready to say goodbye to your Playboy status?"
"Women are not trustworthy. For example, my mom. The biggest bitch of all time!" His knuckles turned white as he clutched the fork, fury blazing in his eyes.
She looked at him anxiously and gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze, and he turned his attention back to his grandmother. The storm in his eyes died slowly, and a smirk stretched on his lips. "How can I share my life with someone I can't trust?" His cold eyes exposed the void space of his heart.
"Not all women are the same, Aries! I can find a nice girl for you if you trust me, of course." His grandma chuckled.
"I have faith in you, but I'm not ready to settle down."
"What about that model you're dating these days? Aren't you serious about her?" His grandma inquired.
Aries gave an amused smile. "We have an arrangement!" He said to stay brief and uncomplicated, not getting into the nitty gritty.
"Arrangement?" She lifted her eyebrows when his phone rang up.
"Just a minute!" He said, answering the call from his office.
"Okay, I'll meet them at the party." Taking a sip of his juice, he disconnected the call. "I really need to go, Grandma!" He stood and planted a kiss on her cheek, "But I'll visit again. Take care."
"Be ready by eight. We're going to an event." He texted his girlfriend, Shasha Lewis.
Cara opened the door of her apartment and slumped down with a thud on the old worn-out couch, throwing her head back. The humiliation she faced at the restaurant took a toll on her again. Life has been unjust to her since the night she was thrown out of her home four years ago.
She had no friend or place to go as the demons of her past chased her away. A new city, unknown roads, and a heart heavy with grief wandered on the road aimlessly hoping to find a kind heart and it finally ended when she came before a car and got into an accident.
Meghan James, a twenty-four-year-old travel blogger, was drunk when she crashed into her. Cara woke up in the hospital the next morning and Meghan pleaded with her not to file a complaint.
Cara put a condition to take her in and Meghan quickly agreed. She took Cara home, and Cara did all she could to make her happy. When she was all better, Meghan asked her to get a job and help with the bills.
Now that the demons have tracked her down yet again, it was her fifth job, which she lost because of them. Cara knew Meghan would be mad at her when she got back from Paris, as she hadn't been paying her share lately.
She was rubbing her temples when the doorbell made her jump. The living room was pitch black, and she gulped as the doorbell wouldn't stop ringing, and then her phone started buzzing in her jeans.
She quickly took it out, only to find Sandra's name flashing on the screen. She received the call, and Sandra blasted her ear from the other side. "Why the fuck aren't you opening the damn door?"
"Uh. oh okay!" Cara dashed to open the door and Sandra frowned at her walking inside, throwing her sling bag on the couch, and turning to her. "Why aren't you taking my calls? I've been calling you like crazy!"
"I needed some time to clear my head," Cara answered and sat next to her on the couch.
"Have you eaten?" Sandra questioned, but before Cara could reply, the bell rang again. "Bet you haven't!" She shook her head and headed to open the door, only to return with pizza boxes, and Cara's stomach growled in response.
They chatted about random stuff over pizza and Sandra didn't bring up the lady at the restaurant to make her madder. "I met someone today," Cara said, and Sandra raised an eyebrow. "A Police Officer. He saved me from an accident."
"Accident?" Sandra looked at her. "Are you alright?" She asked, and Cara nodded her head when Sandra shot her next question. "Was he handsome? Tell me the details, bitch!" She narrowed her eyes.
"He certainly was! Six feet, black hair, mesmerizing blue eyes...." she continued.
"Fucking angel!" Sandra cut her off and Cara laughed for the first time in the entire day.
"Indeed!" Cara smiled. "Oh, yes!" She took out the business card Keith gave to her. "He said I can get a job here."
Sandra's eyebrows scrunched together as she read the name of the Ascent Group and glanced up at Cara. "This is one of the top ten companies in this country!"
Cara's mood plummeted when she realized she couldn't work for a respected company. "What will I do now? This job was my last hope!" She said, her voice choked.
"Then go for it!" Sandra said, but Cara shook her head in denial. "Look, Cara! I don't know what happened in your past, nor do you tell me, but you can't let it ruin your present. You have to be strong now."
"You don't understand, Sandra!" Cara said. "I didn't choose this life for me. This life has chosen me! And I can't do anything about it!"
"Calm down!" Sandra rubbed her arm when she got a call from a friend.
"Hey, Tom! What's up?" She smiled.
"Okay! I'm up for the night." She answered, and her eyes shifted to Cara. "One more? Okay!" She ended the call and turned to Cara.
"I don't know what you're gonna do tomorrow, but I have got a job for you tonight!" Sandra grinned, staring at Cara.
"What job?"

Aries donned a bright blue jacket that perfectly contrasted with his crisp, white tailored-fit shirt. He checked himself in the mirror before he opened one of the drawers and selected one of his most expensive wristwatches from his collection.
He adjusted his sleek tie, and once satisfied with his look, he left his hotel, and the chauffeur opened the door of the backseat of the car.
"Take me to Sasha Lewis!" His tone was sharp as he dropped a message to Sasha to be ready, as he abhorred having to wait for women.
An hour later, the car screeched to a halt outside Sasha's apartment complex and the driver opened the door of the back seat for the lady dressed in a low-cut neckline white gown that was cut to accentuate her figure. She had her hair pulled up in a stunning bun, and diamond earrings caught the light in her ears.
Sasha slides next to Aries and quickly pecked him on the cheek. "How do I look?" She asked, batting her eyelashes.
Aries takes in her appearance. "Ravishing!"

Cara stood in the line of servers, her white shirt perfectly tucked into her black skirt, which came up to her knees. Her dark blonde hair was pulled back into a neat ponytail, and she stood professionally with her hands behind her back, as she listened to the instruction of the manager.
"I expect the highest standard of service, as we're expecting VIP visitors tonight, and there can be no room for error." He looked them over critically, making sure they were presentable and appropriate.
"Stay attentive to the needs of the guests. If there's any negative feedback, I'll be sure to give you the boot right away." He said, stopping before Cara and fixing her bow tie.
"I'll keep a close eye on all of you. So, stay focused, and don't make me find you sitting idle in some corner." He spoke, and the staff responded with subtle nods of agreement. "Dismiss!"
The manager waited until the last person had left before turning to Cara and Sandra.
"Listen, girl, we hired you because one of our employees ditched us at the last minute, and Sandra believes you're perfect for this job. If you make a single mistake, you'll be dismissed without any sort of severance." The manager stated firmly.
"I will do my best to meet your expectations, sir," Cara spoke with assurance and gave a dazzling smile, yet the despair emanating from her hazel eyes was unmistakable.
"We will see!" The manager allowed them to leave.

In the limousine, Aries tried to focus on reading an important document on his phone. However, Sasha was more interested in some naughty business.
"Not now, Sasha!" He said nonchalantly, his eyes glued to his phone, but she snuggled closer, her long legs crossed, putting on a display for him.
"Why?" she whispered in his ear, and he groaned when her hand reached his crotch.
Aries met her gaze and brushed his lips against hers, and Sasha responded by deepening the kiss. Her hand played with the buckle of his belt.
Aries grabbed her wrist suddenly, cutting their kiss short. "Stop if you don't want to be fucked like a slut in the back seat of the car." He said, looking deep into her eyes.
"What if I want to?" She arched an eyebrow, biting her lips seductively.
"Behave!" He said sternly, and his cold eyes were just enough to stop her. The car stopped outside the hotel and he was the first to step out.
Cara, with a sincere smile on her face, went to the bar and got the drinks, bringing them to the tables draped in red velvet and making sure she was accommodating to the requests of all the guests.
Her gaze moved around the room as the banquet quickly filled up with VIPs, and for a fleeting moment, she envisioned her father entering the grand entrance with his captivating smile. The thought itself brought a genuine smile to her face that was reaching up to her hazel eyes.
Taking in a deep breath, she slowly made her way to the bar to get the other round of drinks. "Thank you," Smiling at the barman, she lifted the tray from the counter, and as she maneuvered through the crowd. A loud commotion echoed in the air, as all eyes were directed toward the entrance.
The room filled with a loud buzz of conversation amongst the women as they discussed Aries Grayson, the renowned business magnet and the CEO of the year.
"God, he is so gorgeous!" Cara heard one of the women whispering to another. She attempted to peek between the shoulders of the tall men in front of her, but unfortunately could not get a glimpse.
Sandra showed up beside her and gave her a friendly nudge on the arm. "Cara, go there! They need drinks." She motioned in the other direction, and Cara quickly melted away into the surrounding crowd.
Aries and Sasha, recently the couple had been the subject of much discussion, and the paparazzi had quickly gathered to take pictures of the couple.
Sasha linked her arm with Aries as they walked in through the entrance, and after a couple of shots, Aries gestured for the paparazzi to stop, and they stepped aside to let them enter the party.
Aries mingled with the investors he was attending the party for while Sasha was busy with other women. Aries tried to focus his mind on something else to distract himself from the sensation of his arousal, but the heat that she had ignited in him in the car was still going strong. He quickly outlined the reasons for his meeting with the investors and set an official date for them to meet.
Cara appeared at his table, and he took the drink from her without throwing a glance in her direction. "Thank you," he said in his deep voice.
Cara threw a quick glance in his direction, but he had turned his back to her, scanning the area for Sasha, and at last, he saw her at the bar, guffawing and talking with the ladies.
Not desiring to engage in their trivial conversation, Aries fished his phone out of his trousers and sent her a text, gazing in her direction, and a wide smirk stretched across his face as he watched her extracting her phone from her clutch bag and reading his text.
She anxiously searched the crowd for him, her eyes finally settling on Aries, her face mirroring his smirk. Sasha saw him moving in another direction, and she stepped down from her high-rise bar stool to follow him.
"Thank you for this job, universe! I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring, but I'm confident that you have something amazing in store for me, and I'm eagerly anticipating the surprise." She said in her heart.
The bartenders refilled the glasses. "Here!"
"Thank you!" She maintained her charming smile even after serving ten rounds of drink in her six inches-high heels. Every time she felt her heels killing her feet, she imagined the money she was going to get by the end of the party.
As she was about to turn, a hand groped her buttock and squeezed painfully. Cara's face lost all color. "It's always a pleasure meeting you!" A voice whispered in her ear.
Cara swiftly turned, leaving the tray on the counter, and came face to face with Alfred Doyle. The biggest nightmare of her life. The man dressed in a white suit was in his late forties, and his stony gaze sent a ripple of terror straight down her spine.
Cara shivered, watching an evil smirk stretching on his lips. "I didn't expect to see you here tonight. What a surprise!" He exclaimed with a mysterious glint in his eyes. His thumb brushed the metal of her name tag, pinned to the right of her starched white shirt. "Cara,"
Cara's mouth went dry. Cold sweat appeared on her forehead. "Oh, why are you scared of me?" Alfred grabbed a napkin from the counter and attempted to dab the sweat from her face, but she pushed him and quickly darted away, melting into the throng of people.
She just ran without giving a damn about the job, money, or anything. She used the back door through the kitchen and stepped into the dark, empty alley.
Aries puffed clouds of smoke into the air as he heard the crisp click of heels. He crushed the cigarette under his foot, and as soon as he turned, Cara bumped into him.
Everything stopped around them as Aries wrapped his strong arm around her waist. Her heartbeat picked a race, and it was loud enough for both of them to hear in the dark, silent alley.
Cara's heart raced, her mind too overwhelmed to process what was happening. Her body felt like it had been paralyzed, and she remained in his arms without moving an inch. Aries pinned her to the wall and the air between them seemed to hum with energy.
"You shouldn't have teased me!" He whispered in her ear. Cara knitted her eyebrows in confusion and before she could understand anything.
Aries tenderly pressed his lips to hers.
Aries clutched her waist, kissing her lips while Cara stood frozen in his arms, unable to think straight. Her mind goes blank, surrendering to the demanding kiss of the stranger. Aries had an unusual feeling. The more he tries to stop kissing and fuck her against the wall, the more he couldn't stop kissing those soft lips that felt right against his lips.
"Kiss me back!" He demanded, crashing his lips on her again and Cara felt butterflies dancing in her stomach. It was her first kiss. His masculine fragrance of wood and spices engulfed her, invading her senses, but Cara composed herself and tried to push him.
"You wanna play hard, huh?" Aries smirked, sucking hard on her neck. Cara repeatedly pushed his chest, but Aries was too strong for her. He grasped her wrist and pinned them above her head. Cara's eyes went wide as she struggled against him.
"Leave...." She opened her mouth to protest, but Aries was quick to shut her up with a passionate kiss, nibbling her lips. Cara pressed her lips into a straight line and Aries groaned. He squeezed her bosom, pinching her nipple.
Cara whimpered in pain, parting her lips and his tongue drove straight into her mouth, exploring every corner, sucking her tongue. Cara tasted alcohol and stopped squirming against him, completely drowned in the dreamy kiss.
Aries's phone started ringing in his pants, but he ignored it.
Conscience hit her, and she tried to free her wrist again, testing his patience. Aries snorted, completely annoyed by her attitude, and he turned her to the wall. His hand traveled down her thighs, yanking her skirt up to her waist, and his cold fingers were intimately close to her sex.
Her breath caught in her throat and Cara couldn't comprehend why she wasn't voicing out her protest and enjoying his touch. Aries grasped her throat, pressing his front against her back. She could feel his cock poking between her ass cheeks. "This is what you wanted, huh?" He whispered in her ear, pushing his hips forward, and Cara took a sharp breath.
She was scared to death, her body shivered, and at that moment, she wished for nothing but to escape. Aries's hand traveled to the zipper of his pants when his phone started ringing again. Frustrated, he took out his phone to disconnect the call.
The mobile screen lit up with Sasha's call, and Aries knitted his eyebrows. His eyes traveled to the woman and his hold on her throat loosened. "Who are you?" He asked, and Cara turned to him. A dim light flashed slightly as someone opened the passage door leading to the alley and Aries saw her hazel eyes for a fraction of a second before the door closed again. And she was definitely not who he was expecting.
Cara quickly fixed her skirt and took a step back. Aries tried to catch her, but she ran to save herself while Aries stood dumbfounded in his place. The sound of heels clicking faded, and his phone rang up for the third time.
Tearing his eyes from where the mysterious woman disappeared, Aries took the call from Sasha. "Aries, where are you?" Sasha asked as he picked up her call.
"Where the fuck are you? I told you to follow me!" He gritted his teeth, slamming his fist on the wall.
Sasha was confused about why he was suddenly so angry. She was just ten minutes late. "A waitress spilled juice on my dress. I had to clean it up. I can come to you now. Where are you?" She asked, but Aries ended the call without answering.
"Fuck!" He groaned, his eyes traveling to where the woman left.
Cara ran on the empty road, making sure that no one was following her. She took a taxi with some of the last cash she had and reached her apartment. She was sweating profusely and her throat went dry.
She paid the bill to the cabbie and rushed to her apartment. Her hands were shivering as she took out her keys and they slipped on the floor. "Easy, you're safe!" She drew a deep breath, wiping the sweat off her face, and bent down when a hand beat her.
A gentleman dressed in a black suit appeared with a charming smile and handed the keys back to her. "You are here again? I've told you, I'm not interested in any deal! Get off my back." She shrieked, and the man gestured for her to lower her voice or else her neighbors would create a scene.
"Just why don't you think about it for once? I'm giving you a great deal!" He said and Cara rolled her eyes.
"Not interested! My car is very special to me, and no matter what, I'll never agree to this deal." Cara firmly stated.
"Come on! You don't even use the car! Can we settle for three million?" The man negotiated, but Cara declined the enormous amount again.
"Why is your boss so interested in my car? Can't he buy any other car? I'm sure big brands are rolling out expensive cars every week." She lifted an eyebrow. The man stayed silent. "Anyway, please stop bothering me! I've already got so many things on my plate to deal with," she said, opening the door of her house.
"Good night!" Cara slammed the door shut in his face. She took a deep breath to calm herself and marched to the bathroom, quickly gathering her hair into a messy bun and splashing water on her face.
As she stood before the mirror, her gaze was drawn to the red mark on her neck, which served as a reminder of the passionate kiss.
As she reminisced about that first kiss in the dark alley, she could almost taste the faint hint of cigarettes on the stranger's lips. "It was a mistake! It doesn't count as my first kiss."
After changing into comfortable pajamas and a plain baggy t-shirt, she left the bathroom and crashed on her bed.
Although she was feeling extremely tired, she found herself constantly distracted by the flashes of kisses that kept interrupting her train of thought.
The way his brawny arms snaked around her waist, her breast crashing against his hard chest, the demanding kiss forcing her to submit to him, his giant hand squeezing her bosom, playing with her nipple, his cold finger tracing the inside of her thighs.
Nothing was right, but it all seemed to be perfect. Cara closed her eyes and everything was in a loop in her dream, while on the other hand, Aries couldn't take her off his mind. The hazel eyes were all he could think about.
***
"Ahh. fuck!" Sasha moaned as he plunged harder into her from behind, and Aries groaned. This was the fifth round, and he was still insatiable.
He closed his eyes, imagining the soft lips of the hazel eyes wrapped around his cock, and he left a guttural groan, filling his condom, and slowly slipped out of her.
Disposing of the condom and he lay next to Sasha. "Wow! That was something else!" she said as they catch their breath and Aries closed his eyes to calm his raging nerves. He thought sex would help him take his mind off the hazel eyes, but it only increased his urge to fuck her.
The insatiable fire Cara ignited in him didn't die down even after five rounds of sex, and all he could think about while fucking Sasha was the kiss in the dark alley.
Sasha put her head on his arm, scooting close to him. "Why are you so stressed?" She asked, her slender finger tracing his jaws.
Aries abruptly sat on the bed, and Sasha widened her eyes. "What's wrong?" He didn't answer. All he wanted was to breathe in the fresh air. He wore his clothes back and Sasha sat on the bed watching his actions. "Are you not staying tonight?"
Aries buttoned his shirt and wore his shoes. "Thanks for the night!" He said and left her apartment.
"Take me to the beach!" He asked his chauffeur as the latter opened the door of the backseat and Aries rolled down the window. A cool breeze hit his face, and he took a deep breath. He closed his eyes, and the scene replayed in his mind.
"It was just a fucking kiss. Why the hell am I so drowned in it?" He screamed in his head. "Why are those pairs of hazel eyes all I could think about? And what did I see in her eyes just in a flash of light... fear, sadness, helplessness... What was it? How did this girl wreak havoc with just a kiss?"
The chauffeur stopped the car and Aries stepped out. He was walking on the beach, watching the waves hitting the shores, when his phone rang up, and it was one of those men to whom he handed an important task.
"Is there any development?" He asked.
"I'm sorry, but the woman refused the deal again!" The man said from the other side and Aries gritted his teeth.
"I'm done playing nice now. I want the damn car at any cost! Just do it, Mike! I'm losing patience."
