"WHERE is Lavriel?"

I asked the people fixing the condo where I would live.

The condo is not too big, just right for me. The items that are now being fixed by maintenance here at the condo are also complete.

I just got home from the hospital, I'm excited to go home because I thought I'd see him here. It's not like that.

"We don't know, Ma'am. He just ordered us last night to arrange your things here." Answered one of them who was arranging the furniture in the living room. there are three of them and they are doing their own thing.

I took out my cell phone and tried to call Lavriel, but he didn't answer. Is he mad at me? It's been almost a week since we last saw each other. I miss him so much.

"That's busy, Ma'am because it's his wife Ma'am Caia's birthday." suddenly snapped one of them.

I just smiled a bit as I went to my room, I closed the door and locked it. I leaned back and bit my bottom lip, trying to hold back the tears that were about to fall.

"It's his wife's birthday today and he didn't even think to invite me?" I can't help but feel annoyed.

They're having fun while I'm alone and crying?

I violently wiped my tears and looked for clothes to wear. Fortunately, my sister gave me some nice clothes.

It's just a simple black dress and it's sleeveless, it's thigh-length and my body is curvy. My stomach is only two months old so it's not very obvious yet.

I left the condo unnoticed by the maintenance men who were doing the repairs.

I got to their house quickly, I know because I've been here once. The guard also let me in because he knew me.

They looked at me at the same time but my eyes were only on Lavriel. I swallowed and laughed softly. "Brother Lavriel."

"Kzea?" His forehead creased. "What are you doing here?" He asked curiously, with a hint of annoyance. He turned the person he was talking to and told him to leave and come later. "Follow me," he ordered as if he was holding back before turning his back on me and walking.

I followed him until we reached the back of their house. He then turned to me, disgusting.

"What do you need?" He asked immediately, looking down at my stomach. "Isn't your pregnancy delicate, take care of my child!" He screamed in a whisper.

I bowed a little, my eyes getting blurry from the tears. When I really got to him, my speed weakened."I just want to see you-"

"I don't want to see you then!" It's not what I'm saying. "If you're going to cause trouble on my husband's birthday, leave!"

I looked up at him and tried to hold his hand but he violently avoided my hand. "Leave, Kzea! Don't ruin my wife's party for f-ck sake!" he bursts out making me flinch a little.

"Lavriel?"

We both turned to the person who spoke behind me, as if I was cold and enveloped in annoyance and nervousness when I saw him.

"Sister Caia.."

"PLEASE, Kzea. I only want you, I only trust you."

I looked away while mentally processing what my brother was asking.

She wants me to be the surrogate mother of her child!

He's been married for a long time and he and his wife can't have a child because his mother has a disability, so now he wants to use me to have a child.

"Why don't you adopt, Sister?" I suggest.

He took a deep breath while holding my hands, "Kzea, I don't want to. Lavriel doesn't want either. He wants it.. His own. He really wants his son. Please, Kzea. Agree to that. She has dreamed of having a child for a long time, something I can't give her," Her eyes closed with water. "Please, Kzea. I just asked you for a favor, grant it to me."

"Sister," I shook my head, still not agreeing with what he wanted. "If your husband loves you, even if you don't have children, he will be satisfied. He will accept that you cannot give him what he wants, he will accept it for you."

Caia asked worriedly when I said that. The tension in Lavriel's jaw did not escape my eyes. Restrains oneself.

"You should." Caia is now glaring at her husband.

Caia turned to him, her face still worried. "From now on, you'll live here in our house."
