Chapter 1 1

A pair of heels clicked on the tiled floor aggressively, the steps portrayed the anger of the bride walking in her wedding attire. Her face was twisted into a frown, a fierce fire could be seen burning in her eyes as she paddled her walk across the hall. Her Red hair scattered behind her as she matched the veil hanging at the tip with just a pin, the beautiful hair that had once been styled into a beautiful bun with jewelry was loosened and messed up.

Her eyes flashed with a dangerous glint as she passed through various rooms, she wasn't the innocent lady from a few hours back. All her dreams were shattered into bits, and the fairy tales she had about love were all shattered into broken pieces.

At that moment she lost her innocence and naivety, She finally located room 305 which was written in the message sent to her, her friend Mila from Country A had sent her various videos of her so-called fiancee, soon-to-be groom, and the love of her life. In one of the videos, she had caught a gleam of him with her sister in the wedding hall going somewhere.

Alice pushed the door slightly open still having a little bit of hope that whatever she saw was not true, but the moment she opened the door her world crashed into pieces. She saw her soon-to-be husband making out with her sister with lewd sounds coming from them, tears threatened to fall from her beautiful blue eyes but she held them back refusing to shed tears for a Cheater for him.

She stared at them as they continued their sex without taking note of her standing behind them,

They both continued engaging in sex without taking notice of Vina Dennison taking photos of them and videos too, they both felt so immense in themselves. Vina snorted which went unheard by them both, Vina picked up a vase from the doorpost and smashed it on the floor jolting them out of their reverie.

"Liars, betrayer!!! You both cheated on me. How dare you!" Alice yelled glaring at the both of them with angry eyes.

Jade Brooks and Sophia Dennison both stared at Alix with wide eyes, "It's not what you think Alice, you saw wrong. It's not what you think." Sophia yelled crawling away from Jade.

"It's not what you think Alice, listen to us. It's not really what you think it is." Jade said trying to defend themselves but it was too late, Alice shut the door on their faces and locked them inside the room.

Vina leaned down on the wall, the tears finally fell out of her eyes. She cried silently continuously for 10 minutes without making a sound, she did not want to make them think they had defeated her.

"It's all your fault, she caught us..."

"It is both our faults and not mine, I never forced you into this."

"Everything is ruined, everything is ruined now..."

Alice silently enjoyed their shouting at each other ( Sophia Dennison and Jade Brooks ), her perfect wedding and life had been ruined in one day. All she waited for and put in effort for in years all turned into dust leaving her broken and heartened, her makeup and beautiful face were stained with tears.

After a while she pushed herself away from the floor and wiped off the tears from her face, she picked up her phone and made a call to her friend overseas.

"Mila thank you so much for opening my eyes, I don't know what to do right now am so lost...." Alice Dennison cried to Mila,

"You don't have to be sad Alice, am always here for you. I think it's time you stopped being timid and shy, get yourselves together, and teach those asses a lesson. Am sorry for ruining your marriage tho.." Mila muttered in a guilty tone, also trying to cheer Alice up.

"I know what to do now Mila, thanks a lot. Ciao." Alice said before ending the phone call, her eyes flashed with determination as she took the nearest elevator to the hall where her wedding was supposed to take place.

On her way, she posted videos and photos of her sister and ex-fiancee making out on her social media, with a caption saying "Cheaters forever. Wedding canceled." Immediately views, likes, and comments flooded her social media account but she turned off her phone.

When the elevator chimed Alice picked up her flowy gown and made her way to the stage, she took the mic phone from the pastor who was supposed to officiate the wedding and stated in a loud tone

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am sorry to announce this to you but the wedding is off. There's no wedding happening here today so go home people."

Alice screamed out loud before walking towards the bar area to get some drinks, only a bottle of cool wine and alcohol could calm her head right now.

When Alice was done with her announcement murmurs instantly filled the hall with the guest bashing her for making them gifts to the party when no wedding was happening.

"Hey! We want a refund for our money." One screamed from the side. "Yes yes! We want our gifts back from the Dennison family, you tricked us." Another echoed but Alice turned a deaf ear to all their shouts and complaints gulping down her sorrows. The people continued screaming and bashing her harshly.

"Alice Dennison, what's the meaning of this? What happening? Why did you call off the wedding so suddenly?" Dennison Jia, Alice's mother asked with a worried expression on her face. She was standing there with her husband behind her and the parents of Jade Brook too, Jia Dennison slowly placed a palm on Alice Dennison's back.

She knew her daughter had always been reasonable and never did anything without a reason, Alice slowly turned to her family and almost all Family members. She slowly opened her phone and placed the video of Sophia and Jade banging one another on her wedding day.

"What is this?? What is going on here??"

Jia Dennison took the phone from Alice and stared at it with wide eyes, she passed the phone to her husband who also became furious. Her eyes became watery thinking how her one daughter had ruined the life of the other.

"Room number 305, you will find them there. Here's the key." Alice said placing the keys in her mother's hand before turning to continue drinking. Being alone in the room made her more depressed as only the images of her sister and her man in bed flashed in her mind.

Alice found her way out of the room still in her heavy wedding dress. Trying to lift her gown when she walked out of the room, she bumped into someone and apologized before going to the bar. There, she found a stool by the counter and settled down before telling the bartender what she wanted. If the bartender wasn't there, she'd have taken any alcohol she saw and drank until she had had enough.

The bartender attended to her without asking any questions. With those images still in her mind, she filled a glass and gulped it only to grimace her face and swallow. Lifting her eyelids, she saw the man she bumped into earlier, and suddenly a thought settled in her mind.

Chapter 2 2

The chair he sat on was a leather couch and he seemed to be the only one around, causing Alice to have thoughts that weren't holy.

He was the same man she bumped into when leaving her room and he seemed to have been coming out of the bathroom.

Wait, why was he still at the reception? Everyone had left, why was he still waiting?

Alix met his eyes because her eyes were still glued on him as he drank and did some things on his phone.

The girl got tired of staring at him and turned to her drink only for a thought to strike her mind.

How much she was hurting from what her fiancee did to her couldn't be calculated. When she recalled the scene of her sister in bed with her fiancee, she grimaced her face and gulped more than two glasses of the alcohol.

This was when the bartender decided to cut in but she made him realize that he had no say in her life. She drank half of the bottle knowing full well that the man in the corner was staring at her.

Did she mind? No!

And then, she minded him when another thick thought came to her mind.

She had been keeping herself safe for her finances but he went on and cheated on her what if she does the same?

There was a man who was alone and fit for the job.

And at that moment, Alice couldn't think straight, she just wanted to waste herself as she was more than devastated. It was her wedding day for Christ's sake!! Why her wedding day?

If she hadn't found out about it, he'd just have arrived at the altar and made some stupid vows to her!! Her mind was screaming in pain as she wasted herself drinking.

"No," Alice murmured. "No, he must pay for this," she sounded decisive in a weak tone. The bartender had seen she had reached her limit but if she didn't want his interference then he should mind his business.

Alice dizzily leaped to her feet, viewing two of the men sitting at the corner watching her.

Tonight, she'd lose that flower she had been treasuring for that lowlife! Alix smiled at her decision and tiredly walked to the man's presence.

Standing was tiring for her so she smashed her buttocks to the couch, sitting right next to him.

"Hey," with a smile she reached for his attention even when he was looking at her.

The man found her pathetic, he was just in the hall because he felt too lazy to go home or he didn't want to reach home yet.

Now with the bride acting all pathetic and stupid as she was drunk, he suddenly grew interested in what happened to her.

"Hey," he answered.

"Would you like to spend a night with me?" She asked. Alice felt full in the belly and perhaps because of that, she was feeling dizzy. "I'm gorgeous too," she added when she received no response from him except his eyes staring at her.

Arnold just smiled and soon chuckled at himself. "What happened? Aren't you supposed to be married by now?" His question was just to heal his curiosity but it made Alice's heart hurt more.

"No wedding," she let her head fall as she was now crying. "No wedding because..." Alice lifted her head and looked at him before dropping her head on his shoulder. She couldn't stand the dizziness anymore.

"... because I dumped the groom. He's such a jerk!!" She expressed her frustration.

Arnold stayed quiet as he put together the puzzle and soon he understood what was going on.

"You know, no one will question you about it because...as you can see..." She swallowed. "I'm single and willing to sleep with you," Alice pushed her head back to look at him and his face was right in front of hers. She smiled miserably. "Will you?" She asked.

"What's your name?" He suddenly asked after staring at her lips and face for a while. He didn't like being touched but at the moment, he felt he couldn't take a move.

Yes, he didn't know that couple's name because he wasn't at the reception willingly.

"Alice..." She answered. "Alice Dennison," she finished. "What's yours?" She whispered. Her head was still on his shoulder.

"Arnold," he told her. "And I understand that you were cheated on," he looked her way again.

"Don't make me sad again, just..."

"You want revenge," it wasn't a question, he was sure of it.

"He cheated and I want to too," she grimaced her face on the verge of crying.

"And you want to cheat on him with me. You dumped him and you are single," he smiled when he faced her again.

"Will you sleep with me then?"

"Well, there's just this...kind of condition," he started.

"Condition?" Alice pushed back. "Whatever it is, is it money? It's no big deal. Just sleep with me," she sounded so desperate.

"I won't let you go, Alice," his voice when he mentioned her name did something to her heart.

"Why?"

"Once you lay with me, you'll be mine. I'll own every part of you," his eyes expressed his seriousness but Alice was too drunk to understand that.

Alice for a moment turned blank at his words and didn't take to heart his words. "That's..." She attempted to question him but he didn't let her talk.

"That's the deal," The man completed it for her. "You lay with me, I make you mine," he sounded decisive. "So think about it before you regret getting revenge."

After his statement, he took sips of the drink he had because he believed she'd back out but her words shocked and excited him at the same time.

"I won't regret it, make me yours." Alice decided she wanted it and she wasn't backing down.

"You sure baby girl?" Arnold needed to confirm.

"I want it." She answered and he smirked at her words. Then it was a deal.

Arnold watched the girl undress before him as they had already reached a room in the hotel.

He cleaned her face and made her lay underneath him in bed.

This was it, she was going to finally give her flower away to a stranger which wasn't what she had wanted.

Alice had dreamt about this moment with just one man and that was the man she loved so much, her fiancee.

Because of that, "will you kiss me?" She asked Arnold to act more like how she had imagined her first time to be.

And Arnold found himself kissing and doing everything she wanted him to and soon he found out that she was a virgin because she was so tight there.

That was when a one-night stand turned into beautiful lovemaking because he made sure to go slowly and gently with her so she wouldn't cry more.

The next day arrived soon. Alice woke up to the ray of sunlight on her face and the throbbing feeling she felt down her. Still not sure about herself or her life, she pushed herself to sit up only to view a naked man in bed with her.

Momentarily as she wondered, memories of last night began to flash in her mind causing her to gasp. She slept with a stranger and...what has she done?!

Scenes from last night caused chaos in her mind as she wore her wrecked wedding dress. She had nothing to wear and she needed to leave before he woke up so she had no choice but to wear her wedding dress.

With that, she left the room.

Not long after she departed from the room, Arnold groaned out of his sleep.

He had been hearing movements but last night was so good that he didn't even aim to wake up until he faced the window where the sun was.

Sitting up, he stared at his side to see that the girl he spent the night with wasn't in bed with him.

Arnold rushed to the bathroom and soon every corner of the room realized that she had left. "How dare she?" Staring into space with a dark expression, he muttered with gritted teeth. They had an agreement last night and now she had... she'll pay for this!

Arnold searched for his phone only to call his assistant to find him at the hotel, he needed to go find that girl and make her pay.

Chapter 3 3

A man was panting as he raced through the corridor, passing through different doors that led to different rooms finally he reached the room he was going to and pushed the door open.

He had been checking the time and calculating the time left for him to get to his boss and thankfully, he got there on time.

He pushed the door open and breathed out his words as he had been running. "Boss, I am here, I got here on time." He was Arnold's assistant, Taylor.

Arnold had a towel tied around his waist, with water dripping from his hair into his refined abs that would make any woman go crazy for him. He was crazily hot.

Luckily for Taylor, his boss was just coming out of the bathroom.

Arnold wasn't friendly to his employees, causing all of them to fear him as they had witnessed what he could do if they failed or disappointed him.

"Here are your clothes, boss, just as you like them," Taylor had regained his breath and now handed the bag to his boss. Arnold took the bag from Taylor.

"Find the girl on that phone, and tell everyone to get her no matter what it takes. Bring her here alive without a scratch." Arnold ordered in the cold harsh tone he usually used on them. He tossed the phone to the bed before leaving for the bathroom to change.

After he left, Taylor climbed to the phone to see a beautiful young girl and suddenly felt sorry for her. "I wonder what you did to awaken the master's wrath," Taylor muttered in a pitiful tone as if the girl would be dying soon.

With that, he called the men and told them exactly what Arnold said after sending the photo of the girl to the leader.

Alice sat on the bridge gazing at the river at how the fishes swam with happiness and joy without any worries, she moved her gaze towards the other side and was met with two fish couples swimming happily together.

She had been in by the river staring at fish for close to an hour now but it only felt like minutes to her.

Still waiting, "These fishes have a brighter future than I do, they swim all day in their fairy tales without any worries. But my fairytale was ruined just a day and not any other day but on my wedding day. Why? Why?! Why does the world have to be so cruel to me?

I've always loved him and did everything he wanted but still, he cheated, he cheated on me..." Alice started to cry again.

Alice thought that sleeping with another man would ease her pain a little but it didn't do anything. She was still feeling sore from what they shared last night. It was lovely but the pain she felt made her go numb to the feelings for last night's event.

Alice had refused to go home, she could not bring herself to go back to her family. "Why is the world so cruel? I did everything I could, I loved him, I gave up studying business for him, and I bought him presents every day, why did he do this to me?" Alice screamed at the river, wailing.

There was no one around because today was a working day, so she vented all her anger on the river and fish, crying her eyes out. She continued crying and screaming in pain to the air when suddenly she heard the engines of cars coming her way.

Alice stood up with the thought that those cars parked were her family but different unrecognized men came out looking like thugs.

This caused Alice to take steps backward, closer to the edge of the bridge, "who are you? What are you doing here?" Why she felt unsafe was unknown to her and she was shaking at their appearances.

"Ma'am, you have come with us, we don't want to hurt you, just do as we say and come with us silently to avoid complications." The man in a black suit uttered. They were all in suits but in different colors. And the man that spoke seemed to be the leader.

Alice stared at them one by one but didn't count them. After pondering who they were she eventually replied, "No, don't come any closer, I don't want to come with you and if you come closer then I will jump into the river here." Alice looked at the river and then at the men.

The men began to urge her not to jump but she refused to listen to them. She was here to commit suicide anyway so doing it now was perfect.

When the situation got out of hand, the man decided to call their master. Arnold's men were fast in finding her and the moment Arnold heard what she was aiming to do. He informed the man that he'd be there soon so the man went on talking to her so she wouldn't jump.

A few minutes passed by and the men were still trying to make sense of her until a car drove into a park next to those cars.

Alice waited to see who was the driver and when he came out, her eyes widened at his presence. "What are you doing here?" She asked. It was the man she spent the night with.

"I'm guessing you forgot our deal last night," Arnold uttered with his hands in his pocket. He had changed his clothes while Alice was still in her wedding dress.

"I don't want to be yours, I was just desperate last night and..."

"You were sure, Alice, you sounded so decisive and now there's no turning back. I own you now so you can't die." Arnold looked over his shoulder which was a signal to his men to go get her.

However, Alice was too depressed and unable to weigh everything that was going on so she just let herself fall into the water, surprising everyone who witnessed the scene.

"Boss, what should we do?" The leader asked.

Arnold stared at the position she was standing before jumping into the water and was all ready to order his men to save her but he didn't trust them to that extent.

"You will pay for this woman, mark my words," Arnold whispered to himself before handing his wristwatch and phone to Taylor.

He gritted his teeth in anger, losing the buttons on his black fitted shirt. With that, he dived into the river to save the young lady from drowning.

Alice gasped for air underwater, she couldn't hold her breath too long and eventually gave in to death.

Alice was already on the verge of closing her eyes as she rested deep into the water only to see some fall into the water.

When she couldn't breathe, she began to regret her action and it felt exceptionally cold in the water. The fish were just swimming their way around and then she saw Arnold swimming her way before she closed her eyes, ready to give up.

Arnold grabbed a hold of the unconscious lady with a tight grip and swam out of the water with her body in his arms.

Taylor and the others immediately rushed toward their master by the river bank. Arnold brought himself out of the water with the girl still in his arms. Ignoring his men, he walked away while the men followed him.
