" If you grow up, what will you like to be?" Dixie asked as they walk back home from school.

"A model, what about you?" Avery cooed

"Wife of a popular cold CEO who will only love me and smile for only me" Dixie smirked and Avery hit her lightly on the head.

"Don't be silly you are only 15, you are too young to be dreaming about love life" Avery scold.

"Yeah, what about you, you are just 19 and guys are floating around you like you are honey" Dixie said and pick to her heels.

"Haha" Dixie laugh heartily running inside the house.

"How was school hun?" Mrs Murphy cooed

"Am gonna deal with you today, you mouth running brat" Avery said jokingly as she approach Dixie.

"Have told you, this your love for money will lead us to trouble one day" Mrs Murphy scoffed.

"It won't, beside am not a mafia clan and no other clan knows me, so don't be bothered" he patted.

"I am bothered, because, its better to be in the clan and run errands than not to be, no one will protect since you are not one of them, don't you think its even a trap?" she argued.

"I don't have time for what you are calling for honey, so am just gonna leave you and go sit over there" he said and walk out.

Avery walked out with her bag hung on her shoulder.

"Mom, am off to Sugar's house" she said and her mom just nod wearing a fake smile.

"I don't know Murphy, but am worried" Mrs Murphy cried and continued with what she is doing.

"give it to me, it's mine blocked headed boy" Sugar cried as she chased Dior.

"Come get it, if you can." Dior smiled meanly and continue running round the house.

"I give up, you can take it anyway, dad will get me another one" sugar said as she bowed down breathing hard.

"Berra," he said and turned to walk in but he quickly turn around as he feel someone's presence.

"Avery" he called happily.

"Hey Dior" Avery smiled.

"You came?" He asked smiling widely.

"Not for you but for me, lover boy" Sugar interruptd and walk to Avery.

"Yes, I came for Sugar, we had a group assignment to work on" Avery smiled and Dior face fell

"Oh" he mouthed.

"Sorry, friend" Avery muttered and follows sugar inside.

He sighed and rubbed the back of his head, as he held his pounding heart.

"Just stop heating fast, she will never look at us" he said looking at his heart region as if he is talking to a human.

He look at the door she followed.

He is 20, while Sugar, his kid sister is 18, they are best friend since childhood, he had been crushing on her for a long time but knowing the kind of person Avery is, he can't confess his feelings for her or he might ruin their friendship.

He walk behind them as they heard for sugar's room.

Getting to Sugar's room, she slammed the door on his face.

"Go away, we are about doing our assignment, go do yours" Sugar said and lean on the door.

He smirked and walk to the room where they kept things and took the ladder out.

Luckily their parents are not at home to scold them.

He walk to Sugar's window and place it there.

He climb the ladder and begin peep on them.

"So we should write down symbol of the first 40 elements?" Sugar asked and Avery nod.

"Jeez, how I hate chemistry, i just need business stuff, I might later change course, I can't continue this torture" she said and pout her lips.

"And Dixie love physics, chemistry and biology whole hearted, she loves creating things with her imaginations" Avery said.

Sugar look around the room as she feels an eye on them.

Her eyes landed on the tip of fingers on her window.

She picked her water flask and move it to her mouth.

She pump water into her mouth and begin to make it dance round the wall of her teeth.

"Excuse me," she muffled and stand up heading towards the window.

Dior was fast to glue his self below the window wall like he a wall gecko.

Sugar threw the water out of her mouth and then take her flask of water, as She begin to pour it away just like that.

She stare at the sky as she does that, knowing the water is directly going to Dior's head.

"Aarh" she sighed as she empty the flask and turn around.

"Am ready" she said to Avery who was already jutting down the elements.

Dior's jaw danced in anger.

That annoying little sister of his, he knew she did that intentionally.

He look at his drenched self and step down the ladder as he walk back into the house.

"Imma bend you today, Sugar" he gritted as he head for his room to get changed.

Avery suddenly heard a sound that shook the room and she gasped.

"Do you think it will rain soon?" she asked.

"i don't know but that sound like it will rain soon, but there is no sign in the cloud" Sugar said as she checked the sky

"You are right, but I better get going or the rain might come unexpected" Avery cooed and begin to pack her things.

She got a little cold in her so she avoids cold environments.

"Awwn, I wish you don't leave soon" Sugar pouted as she packed her things too.

They opened the door and Dior's face come into view.

"Hey" he smiled as he already changed clothes.

"You change clothes already?" Avery asked surprised.

"Yeah, I just got stained and I had to get change" he said giving Sugar the look of "just run away, if you see me".

"Okay then, I need to get going, I don't know if it will be raining soon" she cooed and he nod.

Avery proceed down stairs while he grab Sugar's hand and dragged her inside her room.

He locked her inside laughing meanly.

Dior laughed and rush down stairs to join Avery.

"Where is Sugar?" Avery asked.

Right now her mind seem to be at home.

He walk her to the road glancing at her through the corner of his eyes as he gulp down countless times.

Avery got to her apartment and step out as she pays the cab man.

Her jaw dropped when she turn around.

Police cars were there as they circled the area.

Wait where is her house?, the house was down already, police were already placing the 'restricted area' symbols there.

"Where is my mom" she cried as she run into the half collapsed building.

Is this the wrong house or what?

She could still recognize the sitting room she rushed there to meet the police trying to get her dad remaining body under a block.

Luckily that part of the building was still standing.

She climb as fast as her leg could carry her till she go their room and pushed the weaked door opened.

She met two mask guy in the room, they were both dressed in complete black.

One with the blonde hair while the other with pure black hair.

The one with blonde hair was carrying her sister on his shoulder ready to jump through the window while the black haired one was trailing behind him, giving him a very good distance.

"Hey, who are you two give me my sister" she said approaching the black haired one first since he is not holding anything, he will be easy to knocked down.

"No, no, no don't come closer" the black haired guy said coldly moving back, like he is scared of her.

Avery was deaf that moment, the one with the unconscious Dixie pulled a pistol out and fired at her and it hit her on her shoulder region as she fall to the floor with her eyes half closed.

"Let go" the guy said to the black haired one and he nod as they both jump out of the window using a rope.

Avery watch them while she gasped for air, while blood rushed out of her shoulder.

"Dixie" she cried as tears rolled down her cheeks to the floor as her eyes slowly close on their own.

The police woman rushed in and met her unconscious body on the floor.

She quickly pull her cell phone out and contact an ambulance immediately.

"I told him I had one for him, and he want you to meet up with him by 4:00pm prompt" he said and Avery relaxed back on her chair thinking if what she is doing is right.

"so how do I get my vengeance or get my sister or mom back if I get to meet him today, one can't get vengeance in one day" she said.

"Good question miss Avery" he complimented and push a file to her.

"You are going to make him love you, I heard he hates women, so for him to ask for a model then he must be up to something, get him to love you, get him to wed you and then you can't have your vengeance the way you want," he said and Avery nod.

"If you can have Kim Bum to like you, then you have your full way into the family, cause he is the first son and it so said that he is more dangerous and cold than Raven," he added and Avery hummed

"So what do I do with this file?" She asked pointing at the file at his front.

"Just sign it, to remember this day, its like a contract between me and you, that I help you to get clues to your vengeance" Mr Patrick said and hand Avery a pen.

She collect it while she watch the file in her front.

"Hurry miss Avery, is almost time for you and Kim Bum meeting" he smiled waiting for her to sign the file already.

"Should i sign this?, am i ready?" She asked her self as she grip tightly on the pen looking at the file keenly.
