Chapter one (1)

Linda POV

It's a good Monday, I woke up early happily ready to see my new college. I went to the bathroom and sank myself into the bathtub that is cool and warm.

It's usually prepared by mum, am enjoying the fragrance scent of the flower in my bathwater.

After bathing, I left the bathroom putting on a soft silk towel, one on my body while the other is attached to my head like a turban.

I sat on a chair facing my dressing mirror My caring brother, Lai entered.

"My gorgeous beautiful damsel, hope you slept well?" Lai asked.

He move close to me and sit on a chair,

he hugged me and collected the hairdryer from my hand. He started drying my hair, he applied my hair cream and help me put a hairband in my hair and I'm surprised.

"Lai, where did you see this hair bond?" I asked in surprise

"Hmm, why asking? Can't I buy things for my lovely sister?" He asked and we both burstnto laughter.

"I trust you Lai, but guess you collected it from your girlfriend" I teased and he pinched me

Hmmmmmm no.

"You are just whining me, I went out shopping with Shasha, and she picked it for you. She said the colour will suit your hair and you will like it too" Lai explained.

"Wow, I love her because she always gets me the best,," I said smiling.

I stand and dressed up for school, Lai helped me carry my bag as we both held hands heading to the dining room.

Mummy and daddy are already waiting for us.

I greeted my parents and sat next to Lai. Mummy served us, after taking my meal, I stand up ready for school.

"Mummy, daddy, I will take my leave now. I move close to mom and pecked her.

"Won't you give Dad a peck?" Dad asked jealously

I pecked him and face Lai to collect my bag but he refused to give me.

"Lai, give me my bag, or do you want me to get late for school?" I asked him smiling.

Lai POV

I slide my hand into my pocket and brought out my phone.

"What did you want to do?" Linda asked.

"I want to snap my darling picture in this gorgeous dress" I replied frowning.

"No, don't snap me. You know I don't like that" She begged me but frowned harder.

"You can take your leave," I said holding her tightly.

Mummy and daddy are busying watching our morning drama laughing at us.

Linda keep smiling at me but I frowned at her in return.

"Okay, am ready Lai if that's what will make you happy" Linda replied.

I gave her the school bag and snapped her. Wow, she looks cute and stunning.

"Mum, dad bye see you later," Linda said and rushed out of the house.

Linda POV

I quickly rushed out of the house dodging Lai more threat because he will still force me to go to school in my new car.

I carry my pinky bicycle and start riding to school. It was so cool, I mumbled to myself.

As I ride through the school gate, I alight and park my bicycle, and face the school.

Wow, it's so pretty. I just pray it's funny like my high school.

I don't know the direction to my department, I decided to ask a guy that I saw under a tree, I decided to walk to him but a car entered and splashed water on me. I turn to look at who splashed water in me

I was angry but try to cool myself. I walk to the car which is packed and a guy alighted from it.

Excuse me, see how you splashed water on my clothes, I said softly.

But he ignored me and walk away.

I leave where he packs his car and start cleaning the stains from my clothes including my shoe.

A girl came to my side and clean my dress.

"Good morning dear, I guess you are a newbie here in our college sheeeee asked smiling at me.

"Morning, yes you are right. I replied

"I see.. sorry for what happened earlier dear. That's how he treats other students on this campus" she explained.

"Am Linda, am here to study modeling

Nice meeting you.

"Wow, nice name. You are welcome to Harvard University, am also studying modeling

"So, we are coursemates.

Am Amelia, she replied"What a nice name, I exclaimed.

She holds my hand and leads me to our department

Chapter two (2)

Amelia POV

I like the way am holding hands with Linda walking around the campus. She is gorgeous and gentle.

We walk to our faculty still holding hands,

Am Amelia, a gentle girl, I started studying at Harvard University some months ago. I have no friends because most of them are proud peacocks.

But I have a guy who is also my coursemate. He is the only student that I talk to on the whole campus.

Though, he is rich but never looks low on people like others did. His name is Edward.

Now that I met a new girl, I already like her without fully knowing about her personalityBut my feelingare calm and lovely.

I smiled facing her.

She smiled back, we are still holding hands when I saw Edward from a far distance coming in our direction.

Linda, you won't believe I don't have any friendss on the whole campus except the guy that's coming in our direction. I said as we are walking holding hands.

"Really?! But why?" Linda asked.

Because most of them are too grumpy and classic, that's why I stayed by myself until I met Edward. How we met is funny, I said smiling.

We are in the class that day when a lady came to where I sat...Excuse me, can you leave my place?? The lady asked

I was surprised, this is a university,, not a college, I replied her. I told her I can't, she raised her hand to slap me but someone held her hand from the back and twisted her hand angrily.

"How can you be treating your mate like your slave?" Edward asked.

The lady turned to him and landed a hot slap on his cheek.

My eyes beamed, I thought I was dreaming. I pitched my cheeks to wake myself but I realized all is reality.

I turn to the lady and pull her hair, I gave her two hot slapss in her two cheeks. She wanted to retaliate but Edward dragged me away from the scene.

"Though it's a a bad event funny".I said smiling at Linda.

Funny? How is that funny? She asked in surprise.

Yes, it's funny.

I asked Edward about the girl, he said she is one of his crusheses. She loves Edward but he hatess her in return because she is too arrogant and bossy.

Crush? Linda asked in surprise.

Why are some ladies shameless? How can you confront a guy who is not interested in you saying "I love you" Linda added.

But she later came to me telling me that she thought am dating Edward, I laughed out loud and leave her presence not allowing her to continue disposing of of her stupid words into my ears.

Linda laughed out, indeed it's funny. How can I stopmyself so low for a guy. She said laughing out.

We both burst into laughter not knowing Edward is already in our presence.

Linda POV

It's really funny, I added still laughing. A guy is already in our presence.

Wow, he is handsome and looks charming as he smiled at us.

Edward cuts in.......

Good morning gals, he said and hug Amelia while he stretched his hand to shake me

Edward meet my new friend, she is Linda.

I smiled blushing and bend my head.

I raised my head to look at him, his face looks familiar. I know him somewhere but where did I know him?? All these thoughts start roaming in my mind.

Amelia tapped me.

Linda, did you know the numberof timess have called me? Amelia asked.

Edward cuts in........

Linda, your face looks familiar. Have seen you somewhere before and once.

Really!? I exclaimed.

Yes, he is saying the truth. He and his family have once come to our house to celebrate my dad's birthday. His father is one of my father's business partners.

Oh God, please don't let him remember. This must not be revealed, I mumbled to myself.

Edward is still scratching his head trying to recap where he knows me but all in vain.

Can't remember, guys,, let's go for a lecture.

Are you also in our faculty?? Edward asked.

Yes, I nodded.

We all walk to our lecture room, after an hour the lecture came to an end

Amelia excused herself to use the restroom leaving Edward and me under a tree on the campus.

Edward look at me and used his hand to hit his head.

Hope no problem, I asked facing him.

Yeah, no problem but I know you somewhere. Haven't you seen this face before?? Edward asked.

Yes, I haven't. I replied sharply.

Amelia came back from the restroom.

Linda, let get something to eat, Amelia asked but I nodded.

Hmm, am so full for now. I replied.

Are you feeling glowed? Edward asked.

You are now part of us, so we are now one, Edward added calmly.

Okay, guys, let's go for ice cream then, I said facing the two.

Nice! they both chorused.

We all went to the ice cream shop and get ice cream with different flavors, mine is strawberry, Amelia chocolate while Edward choose cream.

Guys, let's go. I said turning back., I don't look at my front. Edward is with a camera to snap me but I turned fastly and use the ice cream in my hand to smash someone's jacket

Am sorry, I mumbled as I look up at the guy which I disrupt his clothes.

Sorry!? he yelled.

After disrupting my expensive cloth? He yelled.

Am a ligyrophobia patient, am already shaking and shivering. I hate people yelling at me or people making noise around me.

I move close to him with a handkerchief in my hand, I touched his jacket to clean but he slapped my face. I fall on the floor helplessly.

Amelia POV

What? I opened my mouth agape and rushed to Linda who is lying helplessly on the floor.

I touched her but her eyes are already closed, I tapped her but no response.

Nooooooooo, I cried out.

Edward carried her and rushed her to the school clinic.

Episode Three(3)

Amelia POV

Edward hauled her and hurried her to the university infirmary. They commenced treating her, she opened her eyes feeling weak. Am by the side of the bed holding her.

Her father came and closed down the university.

Linda POV

Oh no, this can't be. I can't believe all this is just an imagination. I look at the guy who is still angry with me.

Linda, don't try it. Don't clean it for him or else you are dead, I mumbled to myself.

I turn to my left and found Amelia and Edward looking in my direction.

The guy started coming closer to me, while I shift backward till my back touched the wall.

I keep quiet, close my eyes and bend my head. I can't look at him because am already scared and shaking.

How dare you? He yelled.

Am sorry, I managed to say.

He put one hand across the wall blocking one side of me.

I won't beat you but you have two options to survive from me. He said quietly to my ears.

Option???? I asked trying to look at his face but I bend my head back.

You will have to choose one out of the two options.

Either you buy me a new shirt for this model or you plant some flowers in the school garden. He said

What???? I asked in shock.

Yeah, choose one and your time starts now. He added leaving the spot he is.

Buy? so disgusting. How can I buy him another jacket because of an ordinary stain?? How much are they even selling it? It's is so embarrassing and disgusting. I have the money, I will rather plant flowers in the school garden. Yes, I can't buy him another jacket.

I cleared my voice which is already guffy. Linda, you need to be bold and strong. I mumbled to myself.

Yeah, I shouted and the people in the shop all look at me.

Amelia signaled to me but I ignored all attention at me.

I leave the spot where I am and walk in the guy's direction. I face him boldly and look straight into his eyes.

Our eyes meet straightly, I refused to stop the gaze. Our eyes are still matching at each other.

Yeah, I prefer planting the flowers to beautify the school than buying you a worthless jacket. I said grinning my teeth.

Alexander POV

I know she came from a poor background, she is just beautiful and has salacious looks will surely plant the flowers in the school garden.

That's cool, I said facing her.

You are planting a hundred flowers and you will water them for five days.

The planting must be completed in a day while the watering is for five days.

She cuts in

No problem, I will start tomorrow. Are you fine with that? Hope I can take my leave??? She asked

Yes, you can go but.

But what? She raised her voice at me.

No help if anyone assists you. Your work will be doubled.

What a heartless jerk....she said and take her to leave.

Wow, what a bold girl?? She thinks she can face the Almighty Alex's punishment. Hell nooooo, I yelled and went out of the ice cream shop following her.

Edward POV

Am not happy about what Alex did, how can you treat people like that because you are rich. It's bad, he just give this girl a bad day.

Her first day in our institution.Amelia who is beside me leave and ran after Linda. She hugged her.

I wait and watch the two when I saw Alex again walking in their direction. I move close to them.

Alex, what again? I yelled at him.

Are you now satisfied? Amelia added.

Guys, just leave him. Am taking my leave now, see you tomorrow. Linda said and take her to leave.

Linda, Linda, Amelia called as she run after me.

Linda POV

I wait when I heard Amelia's voice.

Linda, please don't be like this. You need to settle down before riding your bicycle, Amelia said.

Don't worry, am fine and okay. This is my pin, call me when you reach home. Linda said and take start riding her bicycle and rode fastly.

I turn back and see Edward at my back.

It's good to be rich, if she comes from an influential family, she won't be treated like this. I said pitying Linda.

It's okay, just leave him. He will surely see my red eyes one day. Edward said.

This is her pin, she asked me to call her when I reached home.

Edward collected the paper and save her pin on his phone. He drives out his car from the garage. He waited by my side. I entered and he drove off.

Linda POV

I reach home and calm myself at the doorstep.

Cool up, cool up. Lia must not know am bullied including my parents. I arranged my hair neatly and applied light makeup to my face.

Linda, you are good to go. I mumbled to myself smiling.

I open the door and entered. Lia is the first to pull me to hug.

How are studies? Hope you enjoy that college? He asked collecting my bag

Yes, it was splendid and lively. I lied.

Lai, why don't you go to the office today? I asked facing him.

Hmm, I went now. I just came early because there is a family outing today. And Shasha is coming along too.

Really, wow! like that.

I rushed to my bedroom and change into a blue tank top and black trousers to fit with my sneakers. I carry one of my bags across my chest.

Lai, am ready. I shouted happily as I head to the sitting room. Mum and Dad are also ready. We leave the house and went to the garage. Mum and Dad drove in one of mum's cars.

Linda, let take your car. Lai said and move to my latest car. I open the door and we entered.

Lai, but why don't you drive yours. They are both the same only the colors are different. I asked him but he ignored me and start the pop music.

He started the car engine and speed off. We went to Shasha's office to carry her. She entered and he speed fastly after mum's car.

Lai, turn this volume low a little bit. I said but he ignore me.

I face Shasha, Lai's girlfriend.

We reached the restaurant and we alight. We sit around a table which my father has already booked.

I brought out my phone and start snapping my parents and Lai with his girlfriend.

A waitress came for orders.
