Chapter 1 Alexandra

This was my first time in the bustling city of Las Vegas. The radiant colored lights shone and illuminated every path on the streets such that it was a blend of streets with variant colors. Sitting on the window side of the train was worth it. From watching the tall grasses of the countryside to reaching the low grasses and then the cheerful light of the city. I traced the pace of the train with my hand as we rode through the city of Las Vegas.

Party clothes, business clothes, night street clothes, people of different skin colors, backgrounds, and personalities walked through the streets, all minding their business, oblivious to the moving train. Back home, everyone would stop and stare at the train for a while before moving on with their lives.

A blast of music filled the air and ahead we could see a group of ballet dancers spinning through the streets on their toes. Some people stopped to watch them, while the rest moved on like nothing was happening. As we rode past them, I turned my neck and watched till they disappeared out of sight.

I've always loved ballet dancing. I had practiced a few times back at home with the steps drawn in magazines. I could make a few introductory steps but that was it. I wasn't good enough and opportunities are limited where I come from.

"Come out of your thoughts Alexa! This night is ours to explore!!!"

Ava screamed at the top of her lungs as she shook me vigorously.

Everyone in our train compartment turned their eyes to us. We looked like five country girls, coming into Las Vegas for the first time. But no, it was just four of us though, Hazel has been here before, she once told us her man works in Las Vegas.

Emma, Hazel, Sophia, Ava, and I. The five best girls in their country home Idaho. We had taken a morning train from Idaho Fall to Las Vegas, a 10-hour journey to celebrate my birthday in arrears.

I was the youngest of them all and as I finally turned legal our girl culture demanded that we celebrate in style.

I stared wildly at Ava. She wasn't one to shout. She was naïve and quiet, except when she was hyper. Though I expect her to be hyper. Who wouldn't be in Las Vegas?

"Ava, don't shout, please. People are staring." I whispered to her.

"They can stare. We are beautiful and then there's you with fire-colored hair! You're so beautiful that you're a billionaire kind of girl!" Hazel exclaimed and winked at me.

We burst into hearty laughter.

"Billionaires love blonde skinny girls, the kind in Victoria's magazine. And we ain't no blondes here." Emma rolled her eyes at Hazel.

Sophia popped a sweet and put it in Hazel's mouth.

"Don't argue girl, we know you and Emma can increase the speed of the train with the energy of your arguments" Sophia said.

I laughed, Sophia was the brake lever inclined to stop Emma and Hazel from starting their argument engines.

Today was going to be fun. At least that's what my Mama had said when she did her tarot reading for me this morning. Today was set to be the beginning of my life. At the end of the day, we would see the new world awaiting me.

The train came to a stop at Sants' train station.

We alighted looking like the five musketeers, strong, bold, and beautiful. We had invested a lot to make our dresses and I was in a flowery black dress with red boots matching the color of my hair.

"We are going to Inégalé. It's like a 20-minute drive from here. So, we enter the cab." Hazel announced behind me.

"Hope it's somewhere we can afford?" Emma said giving Hazel a side eye

"Yes, I booked there. I'll take care of the bills" Hazel said and turned towards me with a smile,

"Anything for my favorite girl"

I gave her a broad smile back.

"We would also lodge there for the night when we're done dancing and taking shots with Alexa. So, after clubbing, we get some shut-eye and get back to Idaho by nightfall tomorrow" she finalized.

"That's a good plan. You had everything arranged for us. You're the sweetest girl" I said and went closer to her to rub her shoulders slightly.

"Don't praise her, we are all sweet, aren't we Ava?" Sophia asked.

"We are!" Ava replied with enthusiasm.

I laughed.

Hazel was the most exposed of us all and she did a good job taking us to places for exploration. Although we were in the same age grade, she was more experienced and therefore like an older sister to us.

"We have been saving a year for this! And here we are!" Ava exclaimed as she turned round and round taking in the environment.

"Yes, the trickling euro we put in our savings daily paid off. And now we have our feet on the soil of Las Vegas." I said while beaming from ear to ear.

The bright colors filled everywhere with life and although it was way past 10p.m everywhere was bustling with activities like it was just morning.

In our home, Papa would always say, "Las Vegas is a city for all and a home for none." How wrong he was. Everyone I saw looked at peace. Busy, but at peace.

"You don't want to look like you're a first-timer here" Hazel dragged Ava into our horizontal walking line to stop her from walking around wide-eyed.

"Uh huh, nothing wrong with being a first timer ya know? We haven't been here like you. Let her feel her environment" Emma mumbled sipping the apple juice we'd shared as snacks during the journey here.

Sophia ran towards Hazel and hugged her tightly, saying,

"You don't have to reply."

She turned to Emma, 'This night is not about you and Hazel. It's about Alexa, please. Let's focus"

I and Ava laughed, our voices mixing with the bustling noise of the city.

Emma and Hazel had a thing for disagreeing with each other, but either way, we always knew we were friends for life.

As we got further away from the station and into the streets, Hazel stopped a Cab and we entered.

The cab took us to the Inégalé. It was owned by a French man according to Hazel, hence the name.

The cab stopped us and we alighted to see a monumental alluring glass building with different colors of the spectrum dazzling from all edges, such that they all seemed to meet at a point above the building to form a twinkling shiny star displaying the name INÉGALÉ.

There were countless floors but just one floor was emitting the color combination found in club rooms. The wild moving color brightened the mood.

"Hazel... are you sure of our savings... can it pay for this hotel? It looks costlier than what we have." I stuttered while staring at the dazzling sight in front.

The cars parked in front of the hotel weren't a play. Ranging from the gothic Mercedes to the shiniest 2017 BMW, men and women of class were exiting and entering the hotel.

We didn't exactly look like frogs in a fish pond but alighting from a cab seemed inappropriate for this kind of hotel.

"Girl, Alexa, this night is for you. Relax and enjoy. Our savings did this for us with little effort from me. But I did it for us. Your kind heart is the soul of our clique. You deserve the best of them all" Hazel said, rubbing my shoulders with her two hands.

"Yes, Hazel is for once right, yeah, you Alexa my lover merits the beautiful things there are in life. This is for you." Emma chipped in.

Tears got into my eyes and I couldn't help but feel the overwhelming love we had for ourselves.

"No tears" Sophia whispered to me as Hazel led the way and we entered into the biggest classic club room I've ever seen.

"Let's sit at that corner!" Ava exclaimed happily over the noise.

"No! That side looks a bit hidden, we can watch everyone from there!". Sophia said, dragging my hand to the left side of the club.

"Guys!" Hazel exclaimed and we all turned to look at her.

"I brought us here, follow me"

She said and turned and walked to the right side of the club where there was less noise and we followed suit like chicks following a mother hen.

We settled at a table of five like it was made for us.

"How do I order?" Emma asked

"What do we start with?" Sophia chipped in quietly

"Food, of course, I'm famished," Ava said, rubbing her stomach.

"This isn't about you girl, Alexa what should we start with?" Hazel asked me.

"Food is okay, we're hungry. Then we can take some shots, I'll take my first shot and we'll dance," I said and slowly moved my waist and laughter erupted from our crowd.

Chapter 2 Derrick

The giggles of sultry laughter rang through the noise of the club reaching my ears amidst the noise in the club. I had watched a group of girls saunter into the club room carefree. The red-haired girl in a black dress stood out amongst her friends. I couldn't get my eyes off her from the moment she entered.

I couldn't see her face because the club room was designed to keep every face a mystery but the shadow outline of her body and the magnificent red hair called out to me. There was something fierce yet homely about her that called out to my inner self. It was like I could sieve out which of the laughing voices was hers and it rang in my ears vibrating through my body.

"Do you want her?" Jackson's raspy voice rang in my ear. Argh! I turned to see Jackson's face leaning into mine. "Man, you don't have to do that, keep your rough voice for the next girl who wants to lay you," I said as I pushed his messy face away from my ears. "The next girl would be in a place far away from Las Vegas," He said and clasped his hands.

I was going to miss Jackson, he and Andrew were my childhood friends and the only men I related with outside my workspace. No one knew me physically but everyone in LA knew my business. Our stay in the club room tonight was to send him off. A girlish thing, but well deserved for what we share as friends.

Andrew was seated at the darkest part of our corner staring into space. That he was calm and collected and never let anyone know what his thoughts were through his expressions. He was one human who could be practically expressionless in a situation where everyone is visibly panicking. "It's been a long time since you laid a red-haired girl."

Jackson's voice interrupted my thoughts again. I sighed. My friends knew I love a red-haired girls. A natural, not the dye to impress ladies on the streets of LA. "Yes. It's been a long time since I saw one."

I said, staring intently at the red-haired girl in front of me, checking her out all the way she could fit into my body. "Do you want her?" "I could get her for you." Jackson chuckled. I let out a raspy laugh. Jackson knew that was silly but silly questions were his favorites. I could get my girls the way I want. I just wasn't in the mood tonight, he was leaving and this was our last outing together until we see each other again. I can't waste this night laying a girl.

The Hillbillies by Kendrick Lamar blasted suddenly through the speakers and the nightclub came alive. The girls yelled from their table and jumped wildly dancing off to the fast rhythm of the music. The red-hair girl seemed like the leader of the girl troupe or rather the key reason they were there. She danced like a fluid and moved her body slowly to the rhythm of the song. She was beautiful.

Her and the free flow of her hair, as she danced made her a beautiful sight to behold. Like uncontrollable fire, I wanted to pin her and know what it would be like to have her fire directed to me, beneath me, and screaming my name. I still couldn't see her face nor what she looked like, yet the thoughts of what she would look like on top of me made me hard.

I sucked a breath through my teeth and rubbed my hardness. So much about making this night about Jackson. I turned to Andrew and tapped him. "Man, what's up, why are you moody?" I said. He looked distraught. We were going to miss Jackson. He was the life of the trio. But that was nothing to be sad about. Well, one never knows when Andrew is sad or not. "I'm alright man, just caught up in my thoughts," Andrew said while trying to put up a smile for me.

He took his drink rather and sipped. "Don't be weird, you don't have to smile to prove a point to me, man. I understand." My phone beeped. Messages from my office. Being a tech company, I was hardly on a break. We had emergencies as if we worked in a hospital. I stood and went outside to check the message.

The blast of cold hair hit my face as I stepped into the veranda of the club room. The club air was getting hot or rather I was hot from ogling over the red hair girl. Either way, the feel of the cold air brought some sort of relief to my boiling veins. I checked my business messages, and everything was alright, just a little code to allow access for my secretary to push through an already finished website for the company owner.

I was a little wary tonight. My mother had earlier called this evening to tell me of her dreams. She was into the stars and what they have to say, with a strong belief in astrology and tarot reading. This could be discomforting sometimes because I'd rather not know my future till it comes than discover and live in fear of it. Her call could be paranoia, after all, it was a family thing and this wasn't her first time predicting dooms.

Well, I contacted my office, it rang twice and my secretary picked up, "Hello Mr. Johnson" "Hello, Miss Ella, how is it going?" I asked "It's all fine. We just require the access code to deliver the website package to the company and we are wrapped for the night." She replied. I heaved a sigh of relief.

Everything was in order. "Come back inside man, let's have some shots!" Jackson shouted over my head. "Alright, thank you, Ella," I said and cut the call. Left for Andrew and I, we would rather be at a noiseless cocktail bar than a noisy club with rooms for quickies. I stepped inside back to my seat. I looked around for the red-hair girl and her friend cowed over her making some girl-ish affirmations. I sighed and sat down. And Jackson started his farewell speech, "It's been more than 15 years since we met in middle school and became the unbeatable trio. We have been through a lot together, on personal levels, and as friends.

At some point in our lives, we have to leave and find a path where we can be the best of ourselves. Right?" I and Andrew nodded our heads. Jackson and drama. "I will miss us all. But let's keep in touch okay?!" Andrew looked at Jackson eerily and immediately brightened up. Maybe it was my thoughts but there was something scornful about the look on his face right now. I waved it off. "Cheers to living our dream lives," I said and raised my glass. "To our dream lives," they both responded and I took my shot. I remember feeling a little drowsy at first, then I blanked out.

Chapter 3 Alexandra Derrick

I had seen him immediately after we came into the club room. His green eyes pierced mine before I sat down.

Even as we ate, I wished I had sat where I could look at him directly.

"What are you thinking of? Your mind is not here!" Emma yelled into my ear.

"You know I can hear you even when you talk slowly?" I raised my eyebrows at her feigning annoyance.

"Oh come on! You could barely hear your mom call you even when she shouts and her voice reaches my home!" she yelled again into my ears.

I slapped her face away, laughing.

"Stop, please. I'm here with us."

"Are you staring at the three men behind us?" she asked to giggle

Thank goodness. I wasn't the only one ogling over hot unreachable men.

"How can I stare at them when they are behind me? I don't have eyes at the back of my hair, girl" I said and sighed into the air.

"Oh! But your body moves like it wishes to stare." Emma giggled again.

"You can twitch your head to the side and stare a little bit. That's what I've been doing" She said and pushed my head slightly and I used that opportunity to take a long look at the man in black leather jacket and leather boots. His counterpart was whispering into his ear.

Uncanny. Men that are so close are rare in our country home. I couldn't see his face.

I pushed Emma's hand away and turned my head.

"Don't you like it? Stare all you want girl, if we can't have them, staring is free at least!" She interrupted what I had in mind to say.

She was right though, staring is free. I ate my food quickly and downed my drinks ignoring the butterflies rising in my stomach. We had to move ahead to the first shot so I could get to the part of ogling over the man behind me.

"I'm coming girls, I need to use the restroom!" Hazel yelled on top of her lungs and we all looked at her.

"You know where the restroom is?" Emma asked.

"Should I walk with you? It could be dangerous alone." Sophia said, staring at Hazel wide-eyed.

"Yes, that was how the girl was kidnapped in the movie "Her", the one we streamed last year. You shouldn't go to the restroom alone." Ava added, gaping at her fingers.

"Uhm..." I didn't know what to say.

"C'mon girls, this isn't a soap opera. There's security here and there's only one door IN and OUT." She said, gazing at us like little children worrying.

"I'm okay. Alright? I'll be back in a minute." She turned to the left and went out through the back door.

We all sighed and others went back to their drinks. I haven't been allowed my first alcohol shot yet. Not without our girl-ish affirmation. I used this opportunity to stare back again at the trio's table.

Only one of them was there, the one with a moody face, staring into space. He shouldn't be sad in a club. I thought clubs existed to cheer people up.

The guy with a chiseled face was nowhere in sight so I turned back to my table.

"When are you going to give it out?" Sophia asked as she came to sit beside me.

"Give what out?" I was confused.

"Don't act dumb girl. I mean the red flower between your legs"

"Ewwww, Sophia is so blunt" Ava exclaimed.

I laughed quietly and looked at Sophia.

"Is that a question girl?"

"Yes, you're finally an adult. You can do it, you know. It's just you and Ava who hasn't. But Ava is naïve and that's understandable. You're not. Your fingers aren't naïve at all."

I laughed. Sophia was the one who knew it all amongst us.

"This is an unexpected interaction at this moment where we should be celebrating my soon-to-come first shot."

"Won't be bad if we add first kiss and first sex to the celebration" Hazel's voice interrupted over our voice. She was back.

"Woah, woah!" Emma shouted and started drumming.

I laughed wildly this time. These girls would be the bane of me.

"Can we start with our first shot? Please" I said eyeing them all

Ava groaned.

"Alright, as tradition, Alexa stands in our middle and girls round her up"

Everyone went round me in a circle and I was left in the middle.

"Now, bend your head towards Alexa" the girls did.

"Finally, close your eyes, let me pour our shots!"

Hazel announced. We laughed, thrilled, and shut our eyes. She poured the shots and handed our glasses to each of us.

"You can now open your eyes."

We all laughed and everyone took them and drank at a go. I couldn't drink mine. I would know tonight if I could hold my drink or not.

"Alexa drink!"

"Drink!!"

"Drink!!!"

At the last count, I poured the drink into my mouth and the girls cheered wildly. The drink burned through my throat and I groaned. There was nothing really sweet about alcohol.

Ugh!

After some minutes of a mixture of highness and drunkenness, I blanked out.

DERRICK

My eyes still drowsy opened slowly to the light sound of the creak of a door opening.

I looked up, startled and drowsy but still seated on the bed. I didn't remember booking a room or laying on the bed. The shot must have been too strong to have blanked me out.

My drowsy eyes looked up and the door opened wildly and the red-haired girl came in. My eyes were too blurry and I couldn't make out her facial features but the sky-blue eyes were glaring. She could barely walk and her legs were threatening to fold and drop her on the floor.

She made it to the bed and directly fell on me. She reeked of booze. Who would have thought such a pretty girl would be a drunkard? Drunk enough to misplace the room she probably booked to sleep in. Where were her damn friends?

I tried to push her to the other side of the bed and her breast came free of her clothes. I raised my head to the view and her cherry nipples, pink and lush called out to me. I raised my hand and pinched her nipple and a groan came out of her lips. Argh! Did she respond to just any kind of touch?

I laid back on the bed, my head drowsy and my body hot and horny and craving the girl beside me. She turned and her legs landed on my manhood, making me harder than I already was.

"Wait, wh..at are you do...ing here?" my voice was raspy from the drowsiness and intoxicating hard-on.

A shrill laughter erupted in the room and I stared at her, not sure if I was staring or looking. How could she be so drunk yet laughing wildly?

I bent my head and dragged her lips to mine and the electric spark I felt earlier came to live all over my body. She was kissing back as fiercely as I was.

"Minty strawberry, I love how you taste," I groaned in between breaths and dragged her to me. I brought down the hands of her black gown to reveal her bare breast with black panties.

The black panties she had on were fitted for her body. I drew her pants down and a slow moan escaped from her lips. So much for looking naïve.

"Spoilt beautiful brat" I hissed as I took her nipple between my teeth

"Yes!" She moaned into my ears.

I heard her this time. And I sucked with a bit of force and licking. Her nipples were sweet and succulent.

I grabbed my hand onto her other breast, firm, and round. I laid her back on the bed and dragged her to stay beneath me.

She was wriggling and drunk. But her wriggling only made me harder. I removed my clothes and threw them out. Her moaning and body movement drove me crazier.

I dragged her legs down in between my head and slowly kissed her legs to her ears,

"The best night of your life" I whispered into her ears

And a soft moan escaped from her throat. Primal and raw.

I kissed her down to her cunt. Her wetness overflowing and filling her ass cleft with juice.

Argh!

I lapped with my tongue, slowly at first, the sweet sensation of having her legs on my shoulder and the primal taste of her juice making me hotter, harder, so I raised my head to let my hips meet hers.

As I penetrated, all I could think of was the lava-hot wetness that enveloped my engorged penis.
