Elyana thought that she could successfully escape her grandfather's marriage arrangement and avoid marrying a rich old man. But unexpectedly, she escaped from an arranged marriage. But involved in another marriage. And this man, he is powerful and has an indissoluble bond with her.

Chapter 1 No.1

Early in the morning, in the French city of Lyon, a young twenty-three-year-old woman was packing all her things and putting them in a suitcase. When finished, she came out of the room and pulled out his suitcase which felt heavy. With slow steps, she walked down the stairs.

Elyana continued to walk towards the exit with stealth. Her eyes were full of vigilance looking left and right like a thief afraid of being caught by the owner of the house. At the crossroads, there was already a black car waiting for her with two people-a man and a woman-in it.

"Elyana, come on in quickly!" Arani shouted when she saw the slender body highlighted by the golden yellow street lamp walking over while pulling the pink suitcase.

Arani immediately opened the car door for Elyana, then her friend helped put the suitcases in the trunk of the car.

"Are you ready?" asked Arani after they got into the car.

"Yes, I'm ready. We can go now!" Eliana replied slowly. She sat alone in the back seat and leaned her back against it while closing her eyes.

There was a doubt that crossed her heart when she decided to run away from home to avoid an arranged marriage that would be carried out by Y. Louis-her grandfather-tomorrow afternoon. She had no other choice but to leave this city and hide in the place where her best friend-Arani. Because Elyana didn't want to marry the man her grandfather had chosen.

Daniel was heard saying while driving his car, "Okay, let's go now. After arriving at the airport, I have to return home immediately, I can't accompany you anymore. It's okay, right?"

"Okay, no problem! We can wait for the flight, the two of us. Right, El?" asked Arani while looking back. Eliana can be seen closing her eyes while folding her arms in front.

"Hmm, Yes!" Elyana answered without opening her eyes. "When we arrive in the City of Paris, we will immediately contact you!"

Yes, their current destination is the city of Paris. A major city in France, as well as where Arani currently resides.

Because, Arani has been living and working as a waiter in a restaurant in the center of Paris for two years. Elyana plans to live in Arani's rented house and find a job there as well. Elyana had to find a safe job, which Y. Louis's men could not find.

But, what job is not easy to find for a great person like Y. Louis? Elyana should think about it very maturely.

In the morning, the whole house was in an uproar with Y. Louis's anger after learning that his granddaughter had left the house.

Everyone gathered in the family room and received orders from Y. Louis, including his first granddaughter, Rosyana.

"Okay, I'll look for Elyana at her friends' houses! But now, Grandpa must calm down first, don't get emotional. Later, Grandpa's blood pressure will rise again," Rosyana said soothingly. She was worried about the condition of her grandfather who was angry non-stop.

This was because everyone in this house had received the wrath of Y. Louis-from morning to noon. Of course, that would drain the old man's energy and mind.

"Rosyana! Under these circumstances, how could you pray for me to have high blood pressure. Do you want me to die soon, then you can get half of my treasure again?" Y. Louis accused Rosyana, still with emotion.

"Is the half of your father's inheritance that I gave you yesterday, still not enough for your life?" he said again, still not satisfied.

"That's the reason, why this time I want to set Elyana up with the man of my choice. I don't want Elyana to choose the wrong man like you. Just for the sake of fulfilling my requirements, you get a husband with origin. And in the end, you get divorced, right?"

Rosyana didn't speak anymore. She knew that everything his grandfather said was true. She married herself, only for the sake of getting half of his father's inheritance. And now, Rosyana is divorced because her husband has another ideal woman. Her heart ached so much about it.

Hearing it, Y. Louis said to everyone, "Check the CCTV footage outside again. Where did Elyana go last night?"

"Sorry, Sir.! From the CCTV footage, she was left in a black car, assisted by two men and a woman. After we checked the number of the car, it turned out that it belonged to a friend of Elyana," said Judis confidently.

As a personal assistant who has devoted herself for more than twenty years, Judis knows exactly what she has to do. Without waiting for orders from Y. Louis. She had seen the CCTV footage and found out the person who took Elyana away. In fact, she had already given orders to her subordinates to immediately bring the person here.

Sure enough, soon, Daniel came to be brought by two men dressed in black with tall and big bodies. Daniel was forced to kneel in front of Y. Louis and explained what happened yesterday.

"Where did you take Elyana?" asked Y. Louis with fiery eyes. His anger had reached its peak.

Eliana's disappearance today would destroy her image as the number one person in this city. Because previously, he had announced Elyana's engagement party with Dimitriss Fades-a forty-three-year-old rich businessman-and the status of a widower with one child.

If the engagement ceremony were to be suddenly canceled because the woman ran away from home... where would Y. Louis' face be kept?

Dimitris and his family would be furious because they felt they had been played by Y. Louis.

That's so embarrassing!

Not only the name Y. Louis would be embarrassed, but also the entire Louis family.

"Quickly say!" Y. Louis couldn't wait to see Daniel keep silent. "Last night... where did you take Elyana? If you still don't want to answer, I will report this to your parents."

Y. Louis continued, "I wonder what their reaction would be when they found out that their eldest son had kidnapped the second miss of our family? Do they still have the face to stay in the city ?"

His threat this time really scared Daniel.

Daniel knows about the prowess of the Louis family in being able to get rid of one family until it disappears without a trace from the city of Lyon. He didn't want his family to vanish and disappear like the other families because of offending Old Master Y. Louis.

On all fours while touching Y. Louis' feet, Daniel stammered, "L-last night, El-Elyana went to the airport with Arani! T-they went to-to..."

"Where did they go?" shouted Y. Louis as he stamped one foot on the floor.

"They went to the city of Paris!" Finally Daniel said it.

Although from the beginning, he had promised not to say this to anyone, but right now, his family is in danger. Daniel could not remain silent to cover up Elyana's secret to the point of neglecting the safety of his own family. He had to tell Y. Louis for the safety of his family.

"What? The city of Paris?" Y. Loius was surprised to hear Daniel's answer.

"Why did Elyana go there?" he asked curiously.

"I don't know about that, Sir!" Daniel sighed. Afraid that Y. Louis will punish him for helping Elyana escape.

"Forgive me, Sir! I will tell you the address where Arani lives in Paris. As long as you set me free!" Daniel continued to beg. Hoping, Sir Louis freed himself.

"Judis!" Y. Louis called in an echoing voice. "Make a note, of where is the boy's home address. You go there immediately and bring Elyana home before the engagement ceremony begins!"

Chapter 2 No.2

"Yes sir!" Judis immediately led Daniel into a room. She forced Daniel to immediately say "Where does Arani live" in full.

After that, Daniel was beaten black and blue by the two men who had brought him to Y. Louis' house. He was thrown into the street with blood and wounds all over his body. Not being driven home by them, Daniel limped to stop a passing taxi.

Seeing Daniel's miserable condition, not a single taxi wanted to stop and take Daniel away. They were afraid of being blamed for carrying a passenger who was covered in wounds on his body.

It's still lucky if that person doesn't die in the taxi. If dead? The taxi driver will be blamed.

***

In the afternoon, Elyana rushed out of Arani's house while pulling her suitcase. She was holding the phone with shaking hands while hearing someone speak from the other side of the phone.

"Now, I'm being treated at the hospital. My body was injured because I was beaten by your grandfather's assistant! Elyana, sorry, I'm not a good friend, told them where Arani lives. Maybe, right now, your grandfather's people are looking for you in Paris. You have to be careful. Take good care of yourself. You can't help you anymore," Daniel said a little weakly. But also still very worried about Elyana.

Elyana understood. She replied as she stopped a taxi on the street, "Yes, I know! You too, take care of yourself. Now, I have to leave before Judis finds me!"

"All right! I'll hang up the phone first, OK? I'll call you later," added Elyana a little hastily.

After hearing the answer "Yes." from Daniel, Elyana immediately ended her phone call.

When he put his cell phone in his trouser pocket, he heard a loud crash accompanied by Elyana's body, which suddenly bounced two meters forward and landed on the ground.

"Aaaah!"

"Aaaah!"

"Aaaah!" screamed the road users when they saw a car hit the pavement, then hit a woman.

They immediately approached Elyana to confirm her condition.

"Miss! Are you all right?"

"Miss, are you all right?"

"Miss, wake up!"

Elyana opened her eyes slightly while wincing at the pain all over her body. Her vision was blurry with the stars constantly spinning overhead.

The people immediately helped Elyana to get up and sat down on the ground. Her feet were injured, her clothes were very dirty, her consciousness was fading. It sent everyone into a panic.

"Miss, are you-"

"All of you, step aside!" interrupted a tall and stout man walking into the crowd. Her gaze was very sharp looking at all the people who were gathered there.

Those in the crowd immediately got out of the way. The aura from that man was so strong that no one dared to come any closer.

The stout man immediately squatted down, looked at Elyana for a moment then picked her up. He immediately took Elyana into the car, another person took Elyana's suitcase and put it in the trunk.

"Bring this woman home!" said the man while looking at Elyana who was sitting beside him.

"Shouldn't we just go to the hospital? We don't need to take him home, sir. This afternoon you have an important meeting, it can't be postponed-"

"Go home! Can't you hear all my orders anymore?" said the man cutting off his assistant.

He himself wanted to take care of this woman at home. Why did his assistant keep arguing?

Seeing the terrible facial expression of his master, the assistant nodded immediately.

"all right, sir!" He didn't dare to argue anymore, and immediately took the car that was damaged at the front to his master's house.

The man called someone on the phone. Speak briefly and then close it.

"I have contacted Felix. He will come to the house and check on the condition of this woman," said the man to his assistant.

"If we don't treat her until she recovers, maybe this woman will report this incident to the police with accusations of 'hit again'. I don't want to get into any legal trouble. It's too much trouble for me," she said again with her eyes occasionally looking at the woman beside her who looks so weak.

"Yes, Mr. David! I understand your concern. But we shouldn't have brought this woman home. We don't know who this woman is or where she's from? She could be a fugitive from the police. Earlier this woman was carrying a very large suitcase. " His assistant was silent for a moment. Then he continued his words, "And again... the accident was caused by my carelessness. You shouldn't be responsible and take it home."

Hearing all the words of his assistant, David only frowned. He turned to the side, and saw this weak woman with a feeling of not having the heart.

Even if this woman is a fugitive from the police, what can she do with David? By the way, David was a tall and stout man. And this woman... is just a weak little woman. There was no way he'd do anything to David.

"Now, let's go home first! Another matter, we'll talk about it later!"

"Yes sir!"

The car drove fast toward David's house. After arriving at the yard, Felix was already waiting for them at the door.

Seeing David getting out of the car carrying a woman, Felix immediately came over. They walked together into the house.

Panicking, Felix asked, "What's wrong with this woman? Why are her clothes so dirty? Her body is covered in wounds. She's also unconscious! What did you do to her?"

"Shut up! Shut your mouth!" David snapped. He walked into the house carrying Anita, then went up to the second floor, and laid Elyana on the bed.

"Check this woman out," David said firmly.

After making sure Elyana was lying well on the bed, David came out of his room. He let Elyana be examined by Doctor Felix-his doctor and best friend.

Not long after, two maids came carrying towels and warm water-entering the room. Not forgetting, a change of clothes for Elyana which they took from her suitcase.

After finishing checking Elyana, Felix came out of the room. He went downstairs and sat in the living room with David.

"Her condition is fine. The wound on her leg is not too bad. There are blisters on his hands and other parts of the body, that's not a problem. Rest for two or three days, her condition will improve soon," said Felix, trying to explain to David. His best friend looked very worried at the woman who was currently in his room.

"Then why did he faint? Did he have a brain injury?" asked David did not understand.

Earlier, after being hit by a car, the woman fainted. If it wasn't because she had a problem in her head, then, why?

"Haha.... You're so worried about her. Do you like that woman?" Felix taunted David.

This was the first time Felix had seen David care so much about a woman. Usually, he is always cold and indifferent to the creature named "Woman". But now... David is very different.

"Hey, what are you saying? Who likes those street women?" David did not accept his friend's accusations.

David explained, "Earlier, Edwin bumped into that woman. So, as her employer, it is my responsibility to take care of her until she recovers."

"Huh, Edwin... who crashed?" Felix smiled still full of ridicule. "If he's the one who hit that woman, why can't he just take care of her? You don't need to do that, do you?"

"That's enough!" David rose to his feet. He didn't want to continue their conversation about the woman currently lying on his bed.

"Now, you may go. Later, if anything happens to that woman, I will contact you again!" said David again.

Then he went up the stairs, intending to see Elyana's condition.

Felix shouted, "She fainted not because of a problem in the head. But...."

David stopped in his tracks. He strained his ears to hear Felix's next words.

"Maybe he's on a diet. There's no food in his stomach at all. There's only a rumbling sound in his stomach! Haha!"

Felix's words were always full of ridicule. The more I like to see David's reaction when talking about the woman's condition.

"I'll go first. Take good care of that woman, don't let her die of starvation!"

After saying that, Felix immediately left carrying a black bag in his hand. He came out of David's luxurious house with a happy feeling.

"Aishh, damn it!" David cursed after seeing his best friend leave.

Chapter 3 No.3

After Felix had left, David came back downstairs. He asked the maid to prepare a lot of food for Elyana, because earlier Felix said "There is no food in that woman's stomach."

At night, Elyana started to wake up. She opened her eyes and looked around the dimly lit room. There was only a golden yellow lamp-beside the bed-illuminating the room. Elyana could not see every corner of the room clearly. However, the room looked strange in her eyes.

When Elyana tried to get up, then sat down and leaned on the head of the bed, suddenly her whole body felt pain and ache. Moreover, her legs ... her legs feel achy and sore.

"Wake up? Are you hungry?" asked a man in the room as he placed a magazine on the table, then he stood up.

David walked up to Elyana.

Suddenly Elyana was surprised to see the tall big figure walking towards her. If you didn't expect it, it turned out that there was a foreign man in the room.

Eliana immediately pulled the blanket and held it tightly. She was afraid, that this man was the messenger of her grandfather who would take her back to the city of Lyon.

"Y-you... who are you?" asked Eliana nervously. His hands were still gripping the blanket tightly.

This afternoon, Elyana was conscious for a few minutes. She was served by servants and fed, and also given medicine until she fell asleep. Although between conscious and unconscious, she was sure, did not see the man here.

"Are you my grandfather's errand?" Elyana asked again-courageously. Her body trembled with fear and endured the pain.

"I don't want to go home! Get away from me!" Elyana shifted her body slightly because the man was getting closer.

"Hmm, who is your grandfather?" asked David, not understanding the words of the woman in front of him.

"Did you run away from home?" guessed David with a frown. He stood beside Elyana, looking at the woman's body carefully.

"No wonder your suitcase is so big. There's quite a lot of stuff in it too!"

A smile crossed that handsome face. But, Eliana could not see it at all. In fact, could not see David's face clearly.

"What did you do to my suitcase?" Elyana heard the man discussing the contents of her suitcase. Suddenly, she felt that this man was so daring to touch other people's belongings.

"You can't open other people's things without permission!" Elyana does not like her personal belongings to be opened by other people. "That's called 'disrespect'!"

David raised both eyebrows. Said seductively, "If we don't open your suitcase, what should we change your clothes with? There are no clothes for women in this house. Do you want to wear mine? Hem?"

"Or ... do you want to wear the clothes of the servants in this house?" he teased again as he drew closer. His body bent to look at Eliana.

Hearing the word "Waiter" from David's mouth, Elyana remembered something.

This afternoon, before receiving a call from Daniel, Elyana was looking through job vacancies on her cellphone.

'Why not just get a job as a waitress? That way, Grandpa's men can't find me!'

Thinking about that idea, Elyana felt excited.

"Where are the clothes I wore earlier today?" Bravely he asked without fear and doubt. Because it turned out, the man was not Y. Louis's servant.

"It's been removed!" answered David shortly. He straightened his back, no longer approaching Elyana.

"What ... throw away? Where did you throw my clothes?" Elyana tore off the blanket, and stood up, intending to go find her clothes that David threw away.

"The trash that is outside the house!"

"What???"

'Outrageous! Did he throw my clothes in the trash? Crazy policy! ' cursed Elyana in her heart. Feeling upset, also very angry at David.

Elyana immediately walked towards the exit, intending to take her clothes from the trash can outside the house.

More precisely, Elyana wanted to find a cell phone in her trouser pocket.

After walking three steps, Elyana suddenly felt pain in her leg.

"Awhhhh!" she cried as he crouched on the floor. He held her body so as not to fall.

"What happened to you?" David was worried to see him. He immediately approached Eliana. "Your leg is still injured from being hit by a car. The doctor said you should get plenty of rest. Don't move yet."

David immediately picked Elyana up, bringing her slender body back onto the bed.

Elyana felt pain in her leg. Unknowingly, her hands wrapped around David's neck, holding him from falling.

"Ah, it hurts!" cried Eliana again. Unable to hold back the throbbing in her leg bones which were getting more and more painful.

Elyana did not untie her hands when she was lying on the bed. She continued to hug David's neck, as if seeking comfort there.

David was just silent without moving. Letting his body bend down was pulled by Elyana. Their position was very close, pressed against each other until David could feel her breath.

I don't know how long this position lasted until a feeling of aches began to be felt in the man's muscular waist.

"You still don't want to let me go?" whispered David in Elyana's ear. Not daring to break free for fear of hurting the woman.

"My leg hurts! You can't feel it!" Eliana replied angrily.

She immediately removed her hands from David's neck. She glanced at the man briefly, then pulled up the blanket, burying herself in it.

As the second lady in her household, Elyana has a spoiled nature. She could barely accept the pain in her body. Just a little wound, would be a big wound for her.

Usually, if Elyana was hurt, her mother would hug her and comfort her. But now, her mother has died and she was in a stranger's house. Elyana couldn't be spoiled with that man anymore-just like in her own house.

Seeing Elyana curled up under the blanket, David immediately straightened his body, massaged his aching waist, then walked away. He glanced at Eliana before closing the bedroom door.

Outside the room, David took his cell phone from his trouser pocket. He walked down the stairs while calling someone.

An angry voice came from the other side of the phone, "Are you crazy? Asking me to come over to your house right now, just to check on that woman!"

"David! Don't you know ... what time is it, huh? It's already midnight, time for me to sleep cuddling my wife. Not the time to work as a doctor!" said the person again still screaming. Sounds annoyed and also doesn't like it.

"Young Master David, you are already thirty years old. You'd better accept the arrangement made by your parents. After marriage, you can sleep peacefully hugging your wife, no longer need to take care of women you find on the street!" quipped the person on the other side of the phone in a provoking tone. His voice had begun to lower, not as loud as before.

"Hey, Felix! Why are you even patronizing me? Are you willing to come to my house or not?" David said after hearing Felix's ramble.

David doesn't need bullshit. All he needed right now was a doctor to check Elyana's condition.

"All right... all right! I'll be right over to your house. Satisfied?" shouted Felix, irritated. He had no strength to contradict David's orders. If Felix dared to disobey his orders, maybe tomorrow, David would fire him as head of the Domino family's hospital. That's more terrible than anything.

"Twenty minutes! Should be twenty minutes. No more than that!"

"What?" Felix was surprised to hear that. "Hey, don't joke around. How can two pus-"

Click!

David immediately hung up the phone. He didn't want to hear any excuses from Felix.

Sure enough, within thirty minutes, Felix had just arrived at David's house. Felix came still wearing sleepwear with a black bag in his hand. It can be seen that she left in such a hurry that she forgot to change clothes.

"You're ten minutes late!" David said sarcastically when he saw his best friend standing at the door. David sat on the couch folding his arms in front of him.

"Hah...." Felix opened his mouth wide, unable to believe what he just heard. "You're crazy! Just ten minutes, you're so calculating."
