Chapter 1 The Discovery

Christina POV

"The man threatened to cut off my penis if I didn't allow him to kill my wife,"

A man standing on a stage with a bunch of adults and teenagers listening to him takes a deep breath before continuing his life story.

"-but jokes on him, my wife didn't die that night, she came back to life after she was shot in the head. It was a miracle!"

He screams and all the people clap and scream with joy in their hearts. Humans tend towards believing the worst shit.

How can anyone blabber about how their partner died and came back to life and others believe?

"What the hell is going on in there?" I turned around and my brown eyes clash with blue ones that squint as they notice me staring. Elsa.

"Probably a bunch of weirdos trying to convince each other that their lives are more interesting than others," I said while we walked past the tell-all hallroom.

I paused and looked at her again. "What are you doing here anyway?" I ask knowing she's meant to be in her chemistry class right now.

She places her hands on her slim waist and tilts her heart-shaped face sideways causing her blonde hair to sway. I have always been jealous of her pale skin. I unfortunately have tanned skin that makes me look like a Latino.

"Where are you heading to?" she asks, completely ignoring my question. "Elsa, you can't answer a question with a question." I roll my eyes.

"Fine, I got bored and saw you passing our class through the window. I came out to see what you were doing." She says while playing with her hair. "I forgot my school bag at home," I said knowing she was about to start judging me as always, but what are friends for?

She starts to laugh and I roll my eyes again. "Don't even ask, I honestly don't know how I forgot it. I'm going back home to get it." I continue walking and she catches up to me.

"I'm coming with you, no one will even notice I'm gone." She winks and I smile. My place isn't that far from our school. My dad insisted on finding a high school that was near him, he's so overprotective over me. My mom on the other hand could care less as long as I go to school.

We got there in no time and I knocked on the door expecting one of my parents to open the door. It was very early and I hadn't even attended my first class when I noticed my school bag was missing.

They both don't leave for work till after I've had my second class so I'm sure they'll both still be inside.

"Hey, Christina...are you sure they're inside?" Elsa asks because I've been knocking for a while without saying a word. "I don't understand.. they are usually up and awake by this time."

I sigh. "Have you ever tried turning the doorknob?" She asks like I'm the dumbest person on earth. "They always lock the door, trust me, it's not going to be open."

I know how strict my dad is about locking the house. My hand disagrees with me because I don't even notice when it grabs the handle and pulls it down till I see the door creak open. "See, there we go. That wasn't so hard now was it?" She emphasizes her statement by shaking her head and throwing out her hands.

Usually, I would be amused by her but right now I had a bad feeling that something was wrong. My parents would never leave the door open and they sure as hell would never have opened the door even if they were awake.

I ignore the feeling and decide not to say anything because I don't want to make Elsa panic. I pushed the door open and the moment I stepped in I instantly regretted it. Everything in the living room is a mess.

The TV is upside down on the floor, the couches have shifted from their original spot and they all have scratches on them like some kind of animal was tearing them. The house is a simple duplex but right now I wish it was the size of a hut because it would be so much easier to locate my parents.

I heard a gasp and that's when I remembered that Elsa was still here with me. I looked in her direction and saw that she was staring at the stairs.

"What the fuck." She says and places a hand on her chest. I took a deep breath and looked at the staircase, what I see has me paralyzed on the spot. There is blood dripping on every single staircase. I finally hear a noise coming from my dad's room and I don't even know how I got the courage to move but I manage to regain my strength.

"Elsa, I need you to call 911 and run back to your house." I held her shoulders as I spoke with a shaky voice. "No.. no- I can't just-"

"This is not the time Elsa!" I yell. "Get the fuck out and call the cops, tell them to get an ambulance down here now!" She nods and runs away and all the strength I thought I had just a second ago vanishes and I find myself holding the wall as I sidestep the mess on the floor.

I walked all the way upstairs ignoring the blood because I would vomit if I stared at it. Once I go to the top, I follow the trail of blood which leads straight to my dad's room. On my way there I found about four dead men on the floor. They were all covered in black clothing and they all had masks on. I gulp. I finally reach my dad's room but the door is closed so I use my leg to kick it open slowly.

The first thing I see is two men in black choking my father. They all couldn't see me because they were facing my dad and their bodies were blocking my dad's view. I didn't react but looking down, I saw my mother's limp body oozing out blood.

The blood is scattered everywhere around her body. This time I couldn't hold it in. I screamed so loud that I probably broke all of my vocals as my voice slowly died. I looked back at my dad and saw that they had all noticed my presence due to my scream. The two men in black look at me instead of focusing on my dad which gives him an opening that he uses to bang their heads together and he does it so hard that I hear their skulls clash.

I expected the two men to fall and bleed out but they seemed to be fine even with the blood coming out of their heads.

I thought this would be the most unreal thing I'd see today but nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see.

My dad's entire body starts to shake and elongate, it happens so fast that once I finish blinking, I don't see three men in the room anymore, it's only two and one huge gigantic Wolf. Dog? I don't know what the hell that is but the only correct description would be a werewolf.

The werewolf who I believe to be my dad jumps on the two men and kills them using his teeth just as they are about to start becoming hairy and transform.

Those two men weren't humans either? What the fuck.

Chapter 2 Escape

Christina POV

"What the fuck. What the fuck! What the actual fuck!" I kept repeating it like a mantra.

I don't know whether I should be more confused at what I just saw or at the fact that the werewolf who just killed the two men is staring at me and for some reason, I'm not afraid of him hurting me.

Hell, I'm more afraid of the fact that he stopped looking at me and started looking behind me. I felt someone's breath on my neck and I already knew that I was about to die but just before I started to pray to god and embrace death, a knife flew swiftly past my ear and right into whoever the hell was behind me.

I felt a warm liquid drip down my shoulder and I slowly looked back and saw another man in black. His eyeball was struck With the knife and it's bleeding profusely.

The man starts to scream and I immediately look back at the direction that the knife came from. There's a lady in black but different from the men and her face is open, unlike the men whose faces were conveyed in masks.

She was breathing heavily and started saying something but I couldn't hear her because my mind was in a jumbled mess. She's sitting by the window, she probably had to climb up a tree or ladder to get there but I have a feeling it's the former.

I looked back at the werewolf and saw him looking at the lady by the window. His body started cracking again and his hair started to shrink back.

I blinked again and my father was staring at me butt naked.

I don't know whether it's my dead mother on the floor or my dad's penis dangling in front of me that brought me back to life but it's enough to make me understand what the lady by the window is saying.

"We have to go now!" She yells before her eyes land on my dad and his dangling penis. He quickly grabs clothes from the closet and puts them on. "Peter?" The lady by the window says. How does she know my dad?

"Melissa?" He asks after putting on his shirt. I ignored them and whatever they said to each other and ran to my dead mother.

I didn't even realize that I had been crying this whole time till I placed her limp hands on my cheek. Dad walks towards me from behind and tries to touch me but I flinch so he sighs.

"I'm so sorry that you had to find out about me like this but we seriously need to go." He says as calmly as he can but I can still hear how shaky his voice is. He loved his wife as much as I loved her.

"The police are on their way, why should we follow that other woman? If she wants to help she should wait with us." I say even though I'm grateful that she saved my life. I start to hear the police sirens.

"The police will ask too many questions... questions we cannot answer. If you're worried about who you can trust then the answer is easy, you can always trust me. You know me."

"Do I? You just became the same beast from Twilight and I'm supposed to trust you!?" I snort.

"You will come with me now Christina or so help me god-" The lady my dad called Melissa says. My dad places a hand up to let her know that it's enough.

"It's not safe for us to stay here anymore.. what we're up against...they're not humans..uh...they're a lot worse.

I can't protect you if we stay here and anyone else that knows you will be in danger if they find out they are connected to you in some way so it's better to let her go and leave." He says. I sighed and reluctantly stood up and followed them.

I don't understand what the hell is going on but I do know that Whatever the hell is going on is more than a robbery or an assassination because who the hell does such a thing in broad daylight? On the morning of a school day.

We ran as fast as we could downstairs till we made it outside. "The car is at the back of the house." She says and leads the way. I had so much on my mind that when we reached the car I didn't even look at it enough to know what type of car it was. I just get in and wonder how confused Elsa will be when she doesn't find me there.

I looked up and saw another lady in the driver's seat.

"Took you long enough." She says to Melissa.

"Oh please," Melissa responds.

"Dad.. we're going to come back right?" I ask sheepishly.

"No, my love. We're never coming back." He sighs. "Long time no see Peter. Or should I say beta, Peter?" The lady in the driver's seat says and smirks. "I'm rogue now, please don't," Dad says and looks behind us as if he's expecting someone to be following us.

I looked at the lady again and we took off. She notices me staring through the rearview mirror and winks at me like something's funny. What the hell is a beta and what does he mean by he's a rogue now?

"My mother is dead," I said to let her know that there was nothing to joke about. "Don't worry she's not your real mother." The lady says.

"Becca!" Dad yells and Melissa laughs. I decided to ignore her statement. My brain is presently overloaded with too many questions. "And who are you two?" I ask, raising a brow.

"We're your sisters," Melissa says while staring at the side mirror. "Well.. half-sisters," Becca says and winks at me again.

She's annoying but what she says has my eyes widening. I'm an only child... there's just no way that's possible. I'm about to say something but I don't get the chance to because our car gets hit from behind.

I turned around and saw a bunch of cars following us.

"Well, shit," Melissa says. "It's going to be fine Christina," Dad says and holds my hand. "Who are those people and why do they want to kill you? And why'd they kill Mom!" I yell while Becca increases the speed of the car.

"You got it all wrong Christina," Becca says. "They're trying to kill you. Not peter." Melissa says before bringing out a gun and rolling down her window. She leans her head out of the window and starts to shoot.

I was terrified by the sound of the gun but acted like this wasn't the first time I'd seen a gun. "Why the hell would they want to kill me? I'm just a high school student!"

"It's kinda a long story," Becca says. "A story for another day!" Dad yells just as another car hits us from the back again. Melissa shoots the car's tires and they slow down behind us. The cars behind us are now down to four, wonderful.

We enter the major road and Becca increases the speed of the car. The cars behind us seemed to be getting closer and I held my breath till another car hit us.

"We're going to die!" I cried, squeezing my eyes shut. "Just hold on!" Becca shouts. I open my eyes and catch a glimpse of her making a sharp turn but my soul is about to leave my body because there's a truck right in front of us.

It starts to blow its horn when it notices we're entering its lane to make the turn, instead of waiting for it to pass first. I don't know how but we managed to make the turn before the truck crashed into us unfortunately the four other cars connected with the truck but a few of them managed to escape the crash since the truck is very long it restricts the other cars movements meaning they can no longer see us.

"We did it!" Melissa yells and claps.

"Where the hell are we going?" I ask. "You'll see," Becca says.

Chapter 3 The Safe House

Christina POV

After a few moments of silence, we arrived at a small house in the middle of a forest. Once Becca parked, I left the car and stared at the house but that's the least of my worries.

I looked behind me and saw Becca and Melissa talking so I walked up to Dad who was looking at the house inquisitively. "Are you sure we can trust those two..." I looked at them smiling at each other before I turned back to my dad and continued whispering.

"They are a bit weird," I said. "They're your sisters' love," Dad says. He places his hand on his brown hair and scratches it. He's taller than me so I don't get to see the exact spot he's scratching. Or maybe I'm the short one that makes him look tall. He's about 5 '11 whilst I'm 5' 6 so I won't call myself short but I'm not tall either.

Coincidentally my so-called sisters look to be about the same height as me but Becca looks a few inches taller...perhaps 5 '7. They both have brown eyes and brown hairs just like me but I have white streaks on mine. I tend to dye it once in a while, but right now it's dyed completely brown.

"Who's the older one?" I asked looking at them. "Becca." He says while looking at them before looking back at me. "Why did you not tell me about any of this?" I turn my head and glare at my dad.

"What part exactly?" He asked and started walking towards the house and I followed him behind. "Maybe the part where you had two other kids without informing me?" I folded my hands as we entered the house.

Becca and Melissa had opened it and entered before us.

It's a bungalow with couches, a tv on the left side, and a dining table on the right side. Behind that is the kitchen and I'm assuming the door that's next to it leads to the rooms In the house. Everything is all grayish, it looks very old.

"They're not my children," Dad says while looking at the place.

"What do you mean?" I asked but he ignored me and walked up to Melissa and Becca who were still chattering about something.

"How did you find us?" Dad asks them. I lean against the wall and observe what is going on while trying to ignore the fact that my mother is dead. The shock still hasn't settled in because I am more immersed in what is going on rather than mourning.

"Dad had told us about you two," Becca said and pointed at me for emphasis. They had said I'm their half-sister, so whoever Becca just called dad is my real dad, or are we half-sisters from the mom's side? I don't know what is going on but whatever is the truth I truly hope Peter is my real dad and not some man that abandoned me.

"Where's this place?" I asked, placing my hands on my hips. "Dad told us about it. He said he knew something like this would happen one day. It's just a safe house"

Melissa says as if I'm meant to understand.

"I didn't expect John to tell you two about Christina let alone the plan B house," Dad says then looks at me and so do my two sisters.

"About me?" I ask with confusion prominent on my face. How does this John guy know who I am and what the hell does Dad mean by plan B house? And is John Becca and Melissa's dad?

"I know you have a lot of questions, and I promise I'll answer them all when we know we're safe enough to discuss it all." He says.

"Hold on, I'll be back," Melissa says and walks outside the door. I peeked and saw that she was going to the car's trunk. I glanced back at Becca and my dad and they seemed to be having their conversation. I realize that I'm slowly going insane.

"-Trust me, Dad only told us about you guys because he found out that Sandra and her witches located the girl with the white streaks of hair descriptions. He only told us because we're the only gammas he could trust to find her without talking to anyone about it." Becca says and shrugs.

I didn't hear the beginning of the conversation because I was focused on what Melissa was doing. "You do realize if anyone finds out that you are not following through with the plan of taking Christina to the Alpha king but instead protecting her, you'd be dead, and so would Melissa." Dad raises a brow at her and she smiles and raises both brows.

My apparent sisters are gorgeous and insane. Gamma? Sandra..? AlphaKing? What is all this? "What's life without a little bit of fun?" She says and Dad chuckles.

The stuff they're saying only confuses me more and I don't know whether to be frustrated or annoyed that no one is explaining anything to me.

"Can somebody please tell me what's going on? My mother just died!" I scream and Melissa rushes back inside holding an opened bag full of clothes and what I believe to be food.

"For crying out loud...talk to me please," I say so quietly I don't even hear myself.

"I'm sorry about your mom but you need to stay quiet-" Melissa said but I tuned her out and leaned back against the wall. I dragged my back against it hoping to feel some kind of friction or pain but it was so smooth that I ended up sitting on the floor.

I pull my knees to my chest and I didn't even notice the fresh tears that have been pouring since the former ones had dried. I start to sob and slowly place my head on my knees. I felt a hand on my back and I already knew it was dad.

I pull my head up a bit and notice that he's now sitting close to me. I look to my left and so is Melissa. Becca is right in front of me. They all circled me.

"I'm so sorry about Mary. You know I loved her as much as you did. She was the best mother to you and the best wife to me. But I need you to be strong right now." Dad says with a small smile on his lips yet I can still see how broken he looks in his eyes.

"Ask and we'll tell you," Becca says assuringly.

I ignored her and looked at my father whom I've known for my entire 17 years of living-well- soon to be 18 years. "Are you my dad?"

I ask a question I never knew I would ever ask in my life.

Dad blinks like he never expected to hear this out of my mouth and looks at Melissa and Becca as if he's waiting for some kind of signal to respond but before he gets to say anything, I recall what he had turned into while my mother was dead on the floor.

I stood up and walked slowly away from them. I looked at the three of them. "Are you guys even human?" I asked shaking my head and continuing to walk backward.

"Christina, relax. We'd never hurt you." Becca says calmly like she knew this would happen. I laugh.

"You didn't answer the question." Just as I say this, the window glass breaks and spreads in all directions. And that's all it took before we started to hear gunshots.

"We need to leave now!" Melissa yells and grabs my arm.

They've found us.
