Beautiful Sassy Omega.

Author: : E.Blaque
Genre: LGBT+
Axe Noir, omega and second in the line of succession to the throne must marry Erwin Feret, alpha and current heir of the enemy kingdom due to the outbreak of war. Axe is everything an omega of his time shouldn't be: bold, independent, with strong opinions and total fighting prowess, he is an insolent omega, and that drives Erwin crazy. Erwin is an alpha raised in a toxic, alphaist environment, adapted to do what he wants, carefree and living his love affairs. Both as different as they are, they are destined to fall for each other, even if at the beginning they are only driven by desire, they may unknowingly be about to live the greatest love story of all time. That is, if war and lies don't destroy them first.

Chapter 1 Prologue:

KINGDOM OF ASMAX:

Axe always knew his fate would be doomed from the moment his caste was decided by the goddess Luna and the god of wolves, to be born omega in a world like the one he had been born into was too much, even as the prince of a nation, it did not remove the curse of his lineage.

OMEGA, it seemed a bad word that carried the soul, the coldness that constituted to be nothing more than the possession of the superior beings, the ALFAS, barbarians in their majority, full of unhealthy intentions, guilty of the greatest disasters, creators of calamities.

Now, embraced by the cloak of the night, with the bright and splendorous goddess as a witness, he looks up and sees what could be said to be one of the few ancestral entities that inspire him faith.

The god of the wolves, the father of all his race, to whom for years the subjects and the royal family have paid tribute, Fenrir.

The king among kings, god of gods, who marks the beginning and the end, who puts them on earth and gives the mission of life to the wolves, the eternal lover of the moon, and lord of the Lycans.

For a second of hesitation Axe wonders, deep inside himself, if his prayers could be heard, if with howling of sadness and desolation to the moon in the hope that the wolf god will hear him up there in his temple.

He falls to his knees, ready to bow with his forehead pressed to the ground, praying as his body trembles with anger and helplessness, and tears stream down his face, could he really be heard and delivered from his fate.

He walks down the wide corridor feeling his wolf alert, his ears attentive to any sound, he feels dejected, heavy and at the same time determined.

Axe feels the sweat running down his forehead, hands and back while the uncomfortable cloth sticks to his torso as if it could not be otherwise, with the candles lit, illuminating the pantheon of the god Fenrir and other small deities.

Carefully she stopped in front of the deity and on the wooden plank lined in red velvet she knelt down placing both hands together, taking a deep breath, feeling the air pass painfully into her lungs, starting with whispers that took shape and volume.

"Oh father of wolves, one of your children needs you, and even if my faith is not absolute, I still come to you today to ask for help."

He licks his lips nervously, while he believes fervently in what was instilled in him, praying had never been his forte, he didn't even go to chapel enough, or had a tendency to leave everything to luck and the gods.

"To give presence in the lands of Craenia, will be my undoing, as an omega, in a world as cruel as the one we have come to live in, to go there would be to open the gates to hell, however, my lord, war seems to tuck us in with its scent of blood and desolation."

Axe sighs wearily and trembling.

"Aspor wants to destroy us, leaving me in an extremely difficult position, for if I do not agree, he would only condemn us all to death and devastation."

He denies dejectedly.

"I have never asked for anything, my lord, never, and yet this time I want to, I feel I deserve to be selfish."

He closes his eyes holding back the tears that threaten to come.

"Free me from this unfortunate fate, allow this servant of yours to be happy without having to live with the death of an entire people on his back as punishment."

Life is unfair, that much was more than clear to Axe, putting his people just now in a position of war was not what he would have expected, not when his father and alpha, at last planned to rest beside his mother, leaving behind a life of shocks and threats.

Asmax is peaceful, a haven of peace for the Lycans, they had not crossed more than simple words with other kingdoms in years, he did not understand, even with the wisdom of his she-wolf in between.

How was such a thing possible?.

The Omega wondered continually.

Axe swears, no matter how much he thinks and tries to find something feasible to explain logically the enemy's actions, he can't find it. It was as if they had just decided to go against him, as if some evil being poisoned his mind and asked for Asmax's blood as tribute.

In the distance a horn sounded, it was similar to the war harmonies of his people, only this one was more equanimous and low, like an order that must be taken without refutation, and it could only mean one thing, they had accepted the alliance with Craenia for the sake of protecting both kingdoms of Aspor.

Axe closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"There is no turning back now."

Whispered the omega.

Sometimes wearing a crown was too much, being royalty, rather than a blessing, could be taken as a punishment.

That night both he and his she-wolf felt sadder and weaker than ever.

_________

KINGDOM OF CRAENIA:

"Our alpha has finally sent response to Asmax on alliance issues, and they have been positive."

Karel Feret's voice sounded low sitting next to his older brother.

The opposite did not turn to look at him, in fact he seemed too focused on watching the sea, dusk was lapping the waters of the harbor and the birds were giving their last acrobatics before retiring.

"Erwin."

He called, resting his hand on the alluded one's shoulder.

"I know this is not the best situation, but we depend on this, we are weak by ourselves, our army...."

The laughter came loud and thunderous, Karel stepped back only a few steps, watching the alpha as if seeing him for the first time, it was so cold, empty, devoid of anything that could make it human, it made his skin crawl.

His brother is an alpha, and the animal within his eyes was furious, as much or even more so than the human, for to be forced into such a thing as a "marriage agreement" in which he gave no say, showed that he was not alpha enough to hold the very reins of his life.

Erwin growled, almost animalistic and primal, letting go a grimace as he realized the fact, squealed and smiled cynically.

"So tying my wolf and I into an arranged marriage with an omega I've never seen in my life seems to be the solution to all our problems, does it?"

The alpha smiled smirked.

"That's too naive, even for you, Karel. We know a lot of monarchs - must have been someone from Asmax precisely?"

"Our alpha wants the good of the kingdom."

"Your alpha seeks only his own good, my dear Karel."

Rebutted Erwin in a low, even calm tone, for Karel it was sometimes-and only sometimes-fascinating to see the passivity with which Erwin took things.

He could say that before this day he had never seen his brother act as his caste dictates, possessive, dangerous and aggressive, rather it was quite the opposite, as if he didn't care about anything.

Karel even thought that he lacked a soul, his older brother was the opposite of him: Alpha, strong, determined and went straight ahead.

Erwin stood up and looked at the horizon, one more time before walking past and leaving Karel there.

Erwin was deep in his own thoughts, feeling his wolf moving in his dark midst, jaws out, growling, as he questioned what he could do to get out of it.

Even now that he knew it was late and by now the omega prince of Asmax, he should be happy, making packing arrangements to leave for Craenia.

He sighed and walked back into the castle with his head held high and back erect.

This was an alliance, just that, pure convenience and need to survive and not fall before what threatens to come, he was the heir of Craenia, alpha, son of the king, he should not worry, it was his lands, his kingdom, the omega prince of Asmax was the one who should tremble with fear.

Chapter 2 Beautiful Sassy Omega: I

"I felt the sonata of the horn last night, I imagine they have already made a decision regarding the political agreement."

The silence at the table was simply icy, even the cutlery went to complete silence, the servants seemed to hold their breath, and the aromas of everyone mixed together was almost unbearable, Axe for a second wished he was anywhere else but there, as uncomfortable as he and his wolf could be, his scent was at the surface, his nerves and anger had not diminished and were making him almost impossible not to give off pheromones everywhere, right now they could pretend to be in a garden full of roses, He had never wanted to escape with such desperation, he had not been able to sleep all night, and Igna, his wolf did not stop moving around the spaces of his mind, he honestly doubted he could rest properly in what was left of his life, that together with his reduced appetite, perhaps would make him die of exhaustion before reaching Craenia.

Morning had already arrived and with it the reality that seemed to slap Axe with a force that was already impossible for him to ignore, last night, once the horn had given its last report tune, for a second he thought to catch its lament in the melody, it was slow and not very pleasant to the eardrums, he even swears to have heard one or another wolf howling next to it, but as melancholic as it can be, it could also be considered beautiful to those who really appreciate its beauty, the last time he had had the misfortune of hearing the wail of the horn, was when he was just a puppy and his father was leaving for war, his memories of that time are somewhat fuzzy, but that, he remembers well.

"You're right" spoke his father at last, taking a sip of water, leaving both elbows to one side of the plate that guarded the food, looking him straight in the eyes.

Kellar André Noir, alpha and king of Asmax, who was the living example of sacrifice, the marks that his back bore, The marks on his back, neck and abdomen proved it, according to him, the only reward he received throughout the years and that kept him willing to always give everything, was his wife, Lena Marielle Noir, his beautiful wife with olive skin and greenish eyes, and his two children, Erika Arlette Noir, first born, who had introduced herself as beta, and Axe, the only omega male in the Noir monarchy in years, always a smile of encouragement to them, his family, his pack, but now, the handsome, masculine face was stoic, even with an imperturbable serenity, yet Axe read far beyond that, he knew that if his father could take him by the hand and put him in a bubble, he would do it without hesitation, the dull gray eyes, almost black from the alpha's own emotions made him lower his gaze for just a second before recomposing himself and looking at him decisively.

"When do I leave for Craenia?" King Kellar Andre did not look away, he even seemed happy at Axe's posture and attitude.

"This very afternoon" he said this time in his direction with heavy tone.

Axe had cried for hours at the positive alliance between Asmax and Craenia, only the fact that the war was unstoppable and the lives of all his people were at stake had made him still hesitantly give his arm. Axe nodded, his scent even stronger but this time sour, he didn't want to appear weak and he swears he isn't, but all this was overtaking him by leaps and bounds, without uttering a word he took a sip of wine before taking a mouthful between his lips, swallowing hard hoping to make it easier just trying to ingest the slightest thing, his life wasn't over, this was just a test, it had to be.

"I'll understand if for a second, you drop that stubbornness and stiffness and behave like the young man you are, Omega."

The omega prince denied and continued eating forcefully, pushing the food into his mouth, forgetting the etiquette with the obvious tension and force marked in his rigid movements, his scent could be felt throughout the halls, making the alphas around want to protect him, including his father.

"I know you don't want this, and you don't know how proud I am, that you put our people above it, I tell you as a father and alpha, you are a worthy heir to the Noir."

Axe didn't answer, he chewed his food almost choking on it, the look on his mother's and sister's faces-until now silent-must have been pure sorrow, the obvious sadness his progenitor gave off was evident, they knew he was holding himself and his wolf back, he always did that since he was little, when he didn't want to speak and give vent to his rage.

By the time he managed to swallow he only felt his father's arms around the side of the chair, along with his scent of Mint, eucalyptus and watermelon, like a mantle, over him, as if to make him understand that all was well, his father's alpha sent a warm feeling to his own inner omega, leaving a kiss in his hair, Axe looked to the side finding his progenitor's crystallized orbs, sad but with that bright streak she knew so well.

"You are my child, Axe Didier Noir, my beautiful boy, and god save whoever tries to hurt you, your alpha is sorry to do this to you, very sorry, I hope someday you can forgive me."

By the time his father finished speaking Axe's tears were rolling down his cheeks, weeping erupted from his chest and emitted sound from his throat that showed his pain and that of his she-wolf who howled loudly in a song of agony, his father just hugged him and let him vent, while his mother, and sister, watched the scene with grief and, the servitude, sighed in sorrow.

Family over family, and over family, only the people, that was the motto of the crown of Asmax.

By the time evening fell at the port and Axe was saying goodbye to his mother, father and sister with a wobbly, melancholy smile, the people strategically positioned themselves to see their omega prince depart, Lena Marielle, his mother looked at him with those bright green eyes of hers and kissed his forehead before embracing him and giving him her blessing, letting out her scent of honey, pineapple and cookies as if she wanted him to have it as a souvenir, then his sister did the same with her pineapple scent and lamented for the umpteenth time, not being able to take his place, Kellar André however was less emotional, as his caste dictated, she hugged him tightly, looked him straight in the eyes and repeated again how proud he was of the man and omega he had become, to all that Axe could only close his eyes, sigh and smile.

When the trunks began to fill the ship, Axe looked at all those who had taken the time to see him off, there were his people, omegas that had been like second mothers, alphas and betas that he loved like a father, puppies that deserved a future as much or better than a present full of wars.

Carefully he positioned himself facing them and gently placed his knees on the ground, he leaned on the wood of the port and let his forehead rest on it to then leave a kiss and get up, and without looking he turned around and climbed into the boat with his back to everyone leaning his weight on the wood, begging his she-wolf not to let him fall.

The scent hit him even before the sound of footsteps on the wood, wet earth, cinnamon and blood, something unheard of and real as the man beside him.

"Easy, Omega" he asked seeing the young omega standing at the edge of the boat, holding on to the wood with his hands made into a fist admiring the sea as they brought up everything they needed for the journey, Axe turned to give him a quick glance smiling, a small, strained smile that cost him the strength he didn't have.

"You ask too much of this poor omega, Cedric" his voice came out forced, sad, low and even without taking his eyes off the salty waters "Today begins the road to marrying the enemy, an alpha who will surely make my life hell" he pursed his lips in a grimace and denied, both he and his wolf defeated and angry for not being able to do anything about it "The calm you ask of me is far from being an option. Not even my gods will save me from this, perhaps it's time to resign myself, but I won't accept it, it's not fair."

"If it were in my hands you wouldn't go there, I'm not in favor of this, Igor neither" he said.

Axe smiled seeing the human and the beast inside him, Igor, equally worried about him, smiled giving off his scent full of love and affection, Cedric also let his go, it was a breeze of support, a caress of affection that was worth more than anything, between omegas that was one of the greatest displays of affection, and he couldn't behave any other way, the ever good and willing Cedric.

"It's okay, Cedric, it doesn't matter anymore, we need them" he shrugged "My wolf and I know, alone we won't be able to against Aspor's kingdom, and Craenia will be reduced to ashes without us."

He turned his face observing the omega next to him, tall, strong, full of muscles, white straight hair, symmetrical eyebrows and adorned with a gold ring, honey eyes, thin lips, olive skin, slightly toasted by the sun; he raised his hand letting it be on the albino's cheek with a subtle caress that made Cedric close his eyes and feel, he smiled, he was going to miss that omega with all his heart, his brother from another mother, his beloved Cedric, they would go together, but the union would not be the same.

"Do you think they have accepted willingly?" he asked withdrawing his hand while still smiling, his eyes calm as well as his posture, but with a rumbling, unsure heart "Years of bad intentions are not forgotten my dear, but we are so in need of each other, that I am to cross the sea and marry the heir to the throne of Craenia."

"One word Axe, just one and I will help you disappear from the earth, there will be no alpha, beta or omega that can find you, just say it" the omega denied giving an almost imperceptible and one can say shy laugh, he took a deep breath and looked at the sea closing his eyes, soaking in the wind blowing all over the harbor, the saltpeter, the sound of the waves, the sun warming his skin "Axe, please."

"I would only create the foundation for an impending massacre, Cedric" he said with a hint of pain, his eyes threatening to crystallize "I thought it many times, the goddess Luna and Fenrir are aware of it, I prayed for freedom, but I cannot" she sighed "I carry the crown of a nation on my head, a people on my shoulders and the lives of each of our people on my conscience, I could not sacrifice all of our people for my happiness."

"You will be miserable."

"So be it, Cedric" he let go a sigh that bid farewell to his homeland "So be it."

Those had been the last words the kingdom of Asmax heard from the lips of one of its heirs, in the beautiful port of Uprad, capital of Asmax.

Chapter 3 Beautiful Sassy Omega: II

SEA OF THE DEAD

MARITIME BORDER BETWEEN

CRAENIA AND ASMAX.

Long ago, when he was a little boy, his father once told him that there were always sacrifices to be made, and that in the face of these, when life puts you to the test, there were only two options, go straight ahead or turn back like a coward, or a wise man.

Everything will be fine, calm down, whispered the she-wolf calmly wagging her tail, lying on the ground, Axe could observe her in some kind of meadow in his mind, like a personal oasis, he took a deep breath, trying to concentrate on her beautiful white fur and blue eyes, I am with you, live or die, but always together, remember, Axe nodded, it was a real thing, once the pups reached the age of twelve to fifteen and manifested what would be their caste for the rest of their lives, they would work on contacting them with their inner wolf, until there was such a strong connection that they would act as one, even taking a life oath in which the wolf and human pledged to always look out for each other, or else, if they did anything that would endanger the other party they would die, Axe knew that his she-wolf would never let him drift. However, his tranquility only filled him with an overwhelming and gloomy uncertainty when until hours ago, before crossing the black sea and finally being close to the waters of Craenia, he was still as reluctant as he was to all this, and there he was, not far from entering the lands of Craenia, knowing that his world would take a turn of one hundred and eighty degrees forever, the worst part was that he didn't know how positive or negative these changes would be.

This was a simple political agreement, an alliance forced by fear and uncertainty, fueled by desperation and a threat of war, agreed by the incentive to emerge victorious from an unstoppable struggle, neither the kingdom of Craenia nor the kingdom of Asmax wanted such a union, he still remembers the indignant cries of his people when his father made the announcement, he does not want to imagine then those who accompanied the subjects of the crown of Craenia.

Craenia and Asmax have been enemies for years, they have not enlisted cannons or raised their weapons, neither have they unsheathed a sword, but it is known, the tension is noticeable, it is a silent war that has advanced for decades and does not augur to end, for Asmax those of the throne of roses are nothing more than scum, for Craenia those of the golden throne are nothing more than barbarians, an enmity that began with the fracture of a great brotherhood and the death of two Lycans, no one knows what really happened, but it was important enough to reach the present day.

For years Asmax was open to new people, being a people of Lycans, however, contrary to many, they had not lost contact with their wolves, they were proud to have that intimate and ancestral bond granted by the goddess moon and Fenrir, something that for the kingdom of Craenia was an aberration, Axe is not fooled, he has met wonderful people in his travels to other continents, perhaps among the subjects of Craenia there are, but his royalty is so archaic and closed that he begins to doubt it.

His mother put the cry in the sky, his father had flexed only because otherwise they would be lost, his older sister tried to take his place to save him from such a fate, however the king of Craenia was precise, only the omega son, to unite in marriage with his eldest son, Axe knowing this cried for days, yes he did, however, it was an absolute truth, marry or many lifeless and bloodied bodies would be the picture that would haunt him all his life.

"We're finally here, Axe" he nodded at the sound of Cedric's voice "You'd better get ready, prince".

The young omega stepped away from the edge and stood amidships, his dark blue eyes glistening, subtle makeup only highlighting his beauty, black hair, long and straight flowing loose all over his torso accentuating his silhouette and features, fine features of white skin, small and thick lips kissed by the subtle lipstick, the slender body wrapped in a simple black kimono of fine fabric and small drawings in the form of dragon, with a diamond belt that covered the entire waist embedded in the dark fabric emphasizing her hips.

As they approached the boarding and the waters moved, so did the fabrics of her garments, intertwining both hands low on her belly, the coolness of the rings matching the long diamond and gold earrings, and a silver pendant creating shivers on her skin.

The ship arrived at the shore, the anchors were dropped and the board set for her entrance to Craenia's lands, she took a deep breath to her lungs, her wolf nodded and taking that as support she took the first step followed by her guards and court ladies, every step she felt she was dying, she was afraid, she was trembling, she felt like turning around and leaving without looking back, However, he would not do it, he controlled his scent avoiding leaving himself in evidence, those tears and escapes would only make her look weak and he was not, the omegas of his people are warriors, strong lycans full of courage and he would not be less, he was in front of the enemy, marriage or not, political agreement or not, they were enemies.

He took the first step, the one that would mark a before and after.

"Welcome prince omega of Asmax" saluted a gentleman in a dark green suit, elegant bearing, wrinkled eyes, white skin, haughty aura and mustache "My name is Abraham Poatta, I have come to greet you on behalf of the crown of Craenia."

Axel looked him up and down, subtly inhaling the air around him, grape, he tried to pick up on something else however it wasn't necessary, Abraham was a beta, Axe smiled in total hypocrisy as he sensed how his she-wolf seemed interested and slightly annoyed, Axe had been taught that when a visitor came to the kingdom they were to be greeted by someone of royalty, not just anyone supposedly representing royalty, and the fact that no one from Craenia's monarchy attended to greet him was a clear sign of what awaited him, in other instants Axe would have created a scene and demonstrated his character, however, there, it would lead him to nothing except to give veracity to the inaccurate thinking they had about Asmax and his people.

"Why have the kings not attended my reception?" he asked to which Abraham looked at the others before giving him a smile.

"They are waiting for you in the palace your highness, they had important matters to attend to" he raised an eyebrow looking at the man.

"Important business?" the beta nodded "You mean I'm not?" Abraham seemed to panic and quickly denied, the ladies and guards looking at him with amusement "Well, take me to your highness."

Abraham watched the omega prince with what could be said surprise and curiosity, since it was made known about the political agreement there was no talk of anything else and it was seen when every meter the car moved forward there was some talk around, alphas, omegas and betas, many surprised, some interested and others horrified by the presence of someone, no, of the omega prince of Asmax there, because it only meant that it was reality the political agreement.

They arrived at the gates of the great castle, the omega prince did not even notice the structure, he only followed Abraham with a serious face, his entourage and guard the same.

"My king, the omega prince of Asmax, Axe Didier Noir, has arrived" presented leaving in sight of the monarchs the young pale-skinned omega, who took a couple of steps approaching the beginning of the stairs that led to the throne with a sharp look.

"Axe Didier Noir, omega prince and second heir to the kingdom of Asmax" he stood before the kings saluting with a subtle nod of his head.

"It is an honor prince Axe, welcome to the kingdom of Craenia" answered Eric Arnaud Féret, alpha and king of Craenia with a tight smile, next to him the queen with a serious face and neat silence, the scent hit him.

She was an alpha, however the bitter tone of her scent almost made him vomit right there, she was a tall, slim, brown haired woman with green eyes, on the other side two of her three born sons, one with brown hair, with his mother's eyes and beautiful fine features, who just smelled of coffee, was a beta, next to her was someone else watching her with great attention in his showy grey eyes, the monarch walked up to the omega prince and took him by the hand.

"I know we don't have the best relationship, but I hope that while you are here, your stay will be tolerable" Axe smiled.

"I hope so, my Lord" he looked over Eric's shoulder with mock sympathy, his she-wolf growled and Axe vowed to see her smile only as a wolf could.

Tension was in the air, everyone silent and alert, Axe knew it, he had entered a battlefield, one he didn't know if he would come out of unpunished.
