Beautiful Mistake

Episode 1

~Maya~

This will be the thrid hospital I will be going to today, I pray things will be different.

I panicked as I walked across the hallway of the doctor's office waiting for them to call me, so that I will be able to get the result of the test.

"Ma'am Williams, you may come in" The nurse who was in charge, told me as I entered the doctor's office.

"From the result of the test, it tells us that you are two month pregnant. " The doctor broke the news to me, this will also be the thrid time I will be hearing this from 3 different doctors. I think I'm starting to believe now.

But how can I be pregnant? I can't remember sleeping with a man.

"Is there any possible way for me to abort the baby? " I asked the doctor without even thinking.

I don't want any baby now, I need t stay devoted to my work.

"Why would you have sex if you know you don't want the baby? " The doctor asked which made me rub my palm across my forehead and brought out my gun angrily pointing it at her and she moved her swirling chair backwards.

"And who are you to question me huh?, I asked you a question and you are supposed to answer. I can kill you right here and nothing is going to happen to me" I threatened her as I could see the expression on her face.

"Yes ma'am... I....I.. am... I'm sorry. " She apologized immediately after giving me her answers, I don't take shit, I saw how scared she was which made a smirk crept on my face.

I dropped the gun on her desk that was right in front of me with my hand that was still on the gun.

"How much will the abortion cost? " I asked and she told me the amount, it was not much though.

"How about you carry out the abortion now... " I told her and she was taking too much of my time, I might eventually get to kill this doctor.

"I'm sorry ma'am, it's against the policy of the hospital and I might get fired... " She explained and I smirk.

"I don't care if you get fired or not, I want this damn thing out of my body" I said with a very low voice in order to show her how much I'm annoyed right now.

"Getting fired is more important that I getting dethroned, don't you get? And besides if you get fired you can still fine a job elsewhere, but if I get dethroned that is the end of my life " I explained to her and she looked very confused.

She must be really confused, I can't explain further. Leaving her confused is better.

I heard a knock on the door as a nurse came in telling the doctor many patients are complaining.

"Tell them to wait, the patients should be patient right? " I asked the nurse and the doctors gave her a signal to get out.

I slid my hand into my black jacket as I brought out my phone that was ringing, and I guess it must be a very important call.

"See you another day" I said to the doctor after I ended the call immediately.

I could see she heaved a sigh of relief.

"The next time I'm coming here, you must leave the patient you are attending for me" I reminded and she nodded in approval.

Lest I forget, my gun!!!. I think I'm going to add a star or probably stars to the sky today which is going be cool.

"How many are they " I asked Ashley as I was looking for the suitable gun which I will use to blow off his head.

"There are thirty men waiting for you there " She informed me and I chuckled on hearing what she said.

He actually thinks he can set me by bringing thirty untrained men?

What a pity, I think thirty one stars will be added to the sky today.

R. I. P in advance.

"Ten of our men are okay " I told her and she nodded.

Being a mafia boss isn't as easy as you think, especially for a girl, my dad died three months ago which made me ascend the throne of being the mafia boss.

I left Italy few days after he died and came back here to U. S. A.

I didn't even look like someone who is pregnant.

I felt nauseous immediately as I ran into the bathroom and vomited every thing I just finished eating.

I rinsed my mouth as I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror, I looked so pale, no matter how strong I am, I will still be affected by pregnancy symptoms and all..

I came out of the bathroom as I saw the worried look on Ashley's face.

"Are you okay? " She asked me and I nodded.

"You do not look fine. Is anything wrong?, I can go instead of you and you should just take a rest " She said worriedly.

"I'm fine just a..... " I couldn't complete my statement as I ran into the bathroom again..

They must not know I am pregnant, I must get rid of the baby as soon as possible.

I came out of the bathroom and I could see Ashley taking all the guns on the desk as she packed them into the bag.

"You are not going anywhere. " She said she walked out and locked the door at me.

I banged the door but there was no response, I kept on banging but still there was no response. Fuck!!!

Once Ashley finds out I am pregnant I am very sure she's going to keep it a secret, but what would be the expression on her face, she will be very disappointed in me.

Ashley is like my younger sister, she started working for my Dad ever since she was little before my dad left her to me, we trained together since I was only one year older than her.

She was an orphan, my dad picked her from the street, and trained her.

But let's keep that aside.

Who is the father of the fuckin thing that is inside me.

Could it be what happened between I and onec or my worker the other day?

Ever since the worker slept with me that night I've never seen him with that day, I couldn't even remember his face clearly due to the fact that I was drunk.

But how come am I pregnant for an ordinary worker, a person who I employed to work.

I should find the guy and kill him immediately, I wanted to do so the next day but I didn't find him, but now it must be a must before my secret gets out.

And my uncle must not hear about it because he is finding every means for me to get removed from this position.

It is a taboo for a female who is a mafia boss to get pregnant or to engage in any sexual activity that is our beliefs.

History showed it to us what happened to those female who slept with a man when they were still ruling, the business dropped immediately and the loved one of the female leaders were killed.

They couldn't hold it anymore so they commited suicide.

Is that what will happen to me?

Am I going to die?

The person who passed the throne to my dad was his aunt, she couldn't control herself. She slept with a man and the business was dropping then she passed the throne to my dad since my dad was her favorite and she has no child.

Since then my uncle has been jealous of my dad and want to find every means to take over the position, being the most powerful mafia group in the world with only one rival is not easy.

Episode 2

Thank goodness the operation was successful, Mr Jones is dead already he is one of our threat. Thanks to Ashley anyways.

I laughed as Ashley demonstrated the way Mr.jones looked when he found out that we knew what he was up to.

"Hello" I said as I placed my phone on my hear, I was shocked by what this person told me, I hope it's not another lie.

"What happened? " Ashley asked as she noticed the expression my face is displaying now.

No!!! This is not happening

Is this the result of what I have done, I remembered what happened, I remembered the promise I made to my dad.

Our one and only rival is now getting back at us now.

"Ashley, I'm sorry. I'm pregnant. " I broke the news to her and she blinked her eyes repeatedly.

"How? When? " She asked in confusion, she knew the consequences of my actions.

"Who is the father! " She asked and I became silent.

She hit her head in frustration.

"I don't care about dying, what will happen to you, your child and your dad business " She shouted.

"I'm going to abort the baby then we wouldn't have any problem " I assured her.

"Huh, kill an innocent child?, a mafia is supposed to be heartless in which you are, but you can't kill an innocent child." She pleaded.

"Even if you kill the child it wouldn't change the fact that you have slept with a man. " Ashley said, and what she said was making sense but...

"No way, I can give birth to a child into this wicked world " I concluded.

"So what's happening now? , who called you! " Ashley asked.

"Uhm, one of our workers in another country. The leader of each of our organizations in different countries want to have a meeting with me, our rival will be attacking soon. " I explained to Ashley as she nodded her head.

She stood up from the couch as she sat on the bed beside me, she held my hand and asked me a question.

"Are you afraid? "

"No, I'm not scared. Why would I be afraid?, I'm a mafia " I said sarcastically.

To be frank this will be the second time I will be scared, I was scared when my dad almost died, now I'm scared that I might lose a lot of people.

"Time to go!!! Get our men ready " I commanded her as I wore my black suit and put on my black trouser, and slid my gun into my pocket.

I took my sunglasses and packed my hair as I walked out.

I am really tired, I'm feeling anxious also, I know this is as a result of my wrong doings.

The jet is here already, we are going back to Italy since that is where our head Quarters is located.

"There is a possibility we might not survive since it is our rival and they kept low since all these days. They must have been trained seriously for them to make a decision that they want to attack us" One of the cheifs said as I just kept quiet.

"This never happened when your father was ruling, we all know a lady isn't capable of ruling " My annoying uncle said which made me really annoyed.

"What if she has slept with a man" Another cheif said and without hesitation, I brought out me gun and shit his head whuch made the room to be very quiet.

I do not know why I am really feeling guilty, the people who were sitting beside him felt irritated because of the blood that splashed on them.

I gulped my saliva down my throat.

People who were sitting at the table were very scared my uncle couldn't even do anything.

"Get our men ready for anything "I instructed them.

Being the most powerful mafia group in the world we are capable of doing many things.

"Ma'am we are in trouble, we need to get going they are here already " Ashley said as she ran entering the room.

"What? " The people inside the room were confused and at the same time they were scared.

What the hell!!!

I never expected he was going to attack at this time, there is a particular saying that says 'attack when your enemy doesn't expect'.

I think that is what is happening now.

I quickly rushed out of the room following Ashley, I could visibly hear gunshots and people screaming.

Oh no!!! Some should tell me this isn't happening.

I shook my head in disbelief as I ran to the roof of the building, wherever my father is I'm very sure he regrets giving birth to a daughter like me.

The wind of the jet was so powerful, Ashley entered first persuading me to come in at I looked towards another direction.

"Get in" She shouted very loud for me to hear, I looked at her stretching her hand at me and I faced the same direction imme8and that was the direction where we came from.

I grabbed her hand as the helicopter flew.

I sobbed quietly as we were in the air.

"It is alright Maya " Ashley told me.

"Everyone is going to die " I said hitting my head on my palm.

"Where are we going to now? " I asked Ashley

"Singapore, we don't have any hideout there, so they won't come there definitely " She assured and I nodded my head.

"How did they know all of our hideouts? " I asked Ashley.

"I don't know, I'm wondering " She replied.

"A car is waiting for us at Singapore " Ashley assured as I nodded.

I held my tummy and I could feel a sharp pain which made me winced.

"Are you okay? " Ashley asked when she noticed my hand was on my tummy.

"It's the baby, I guess he/she must be scared too" I said rubbing my tummy.

Few Minutes After

The jet was already landing and it doesn't look as if we are in Singapore?

"I think the jet has been hijacked.. " Ashley whispered to my ear.

" Let's act along, " I told Ashley and she nodded

We tried running away from our enemies now we are at their hands.

We need to act smart...

Chapter 3

~Maya~

The jet landed at the airport, and a luxury car came to carry us, I guess they didn't know that we already know who they are.

I decided I was going to sit at the back of the car while Ashley will sit at the front. We already know how to deal with a situation like this.

We stared at the driver, they tried not to make things suspicious by bringing more guards or something.

"Stop the car" I and Ashley said at the both time as we pointed the gun to the driver head.

Ashley was with the gun as she pointed it to his head, she shot him immediately and opened the door as she pushed him out, she quickly went to the driver seat as she started driving.

We found out we are at U. S. A, luckily at new York, my house is located at new York and no one knows where I am living except from Ashley and Liam.

Liam is my friend, we attended schools together, he's the only one who knows the real business I am doing but he's not involved.

I am a mafia tho but there are somethings other mafia group does but we don't, we don't traffic humans, my dad is against the policy. We only deal with drugs, illegal transactions E. T. C.

We reached our house and we entered and locked the door immediately.

We made sure we hid the car in the park where no one will be able to see.

"I'm scared " I finally confessed to Ashley as we entered the house.

"Don't be" She begged.

Tears flow down my eyes, the last time I cried was when my dad died.

I sat on the couch as I rubbed my palm against my forehead.

"Have it" Ashley said giving me a glass cup filled with water.

I collected it as I gulped down everything that was in the glass cup.

I went to the bedroom to change my dress into black short and black baggy top, I'm prepared for anything.

I went back to the sitting room where I met Ashley as she was wandering around.

"Call Liam and tell him everything, tell him to help us anyway he can" I instructed Ashley in which she did immediately.

"He said he's on his way" Ashley assured and I nodded.

"What's that?" I asked as I heard different sound of car entering the compound.

Ashley went ahead to open the curtain.

"They are here" She panicked.

I quickly ran to the window to confirm and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Someone should tell me this isn't true!!!

How did they know where we are?

Gosh!!! Who exposed all our secret?

Ahhh unfortunately for us this house is a big duplex.

"What should we do? " Ashely panicked.

I ran to my room as she followed me, there was a hose in the kitchen in which i quickly went to take.

I opened the window as I tied the hose to the stand of my bed.

"Go first!! " I urged her, but she rejected.

"You go first, if I die, tell your unborn baby the good things about me" She said tears flowing down her eyes.

"You have to stay strong for me, your Dad and your unborn child " She said.

"Go!!! " I climbed the window as I held the hose to reach the ground.

"Ashley, be quick " I shouted loud enough for her to hear.

I saw her by the window side already, I was really happy when I sighted her.

She held the hose very well as she came down, suddenly I saw a man at the window side.

My expression changed immediately.

Ashley was just looking at me as she smiled innocently.

"Ashley!!! Watch out " I shouted and she looked up immediately.

"Boooooooo" I heard the sound of the gun shot, it felt as if I was the one who was shot.

I heard a loud thud as I looked at my front and the body of Ashley was laying helplessly on the ground.

"Run!!! " She managed to say but I didn't want to leave her that moment.

Her head was already on my arm, she was shot at her tummy which was really bleeding profusely, there is a little chance of survival eveb though she was rushed to the hospital now.

I don't know if I will ever be able to live without her.

"Remember you said you were going to be strong for your baby " She said as she smiled.

"You are going to be alright " I assured her.

"You know it is not going to be possible " She reminded me as I bursted into another round of tears.

I looked at the person who shot her as he was trying to come down through the hose, why can't he kill me huh?

I quickly took my gun as I shot the person who did this.

"Bye I will miss you" She added as her neck dropped..

"No!!!!!" I screamed very loud.

You can't do this to me.

I dropped her completely on the floor as I ran as fast as my leg could carry.

I knew they were chasing me but I couldn't run like I do before.

The pregnancy is really holding me down.

I looked at the back to make sure no one was chasing me, I bumped into a very hard thing.

I liked at my front and I was shocked to see who was standing at my front.

The devil himself!!!

Oh no!!!!

He was putting on a mask as usual, like I've seen in TVs, I was running from trouble but I'm now in it.

The mask only covered half of his face, he was really huge, I look so short.

He was not alone, there were several guards at his back.

I turned my back as I started running from him again, he didn't even bother to chase me!

He must have something else in mind.,if he really wanted to kill me he should have done it now!

Oh no!

I'm in deep trouble.

I couldn't carry my legs anymore as I fell to the ground, everywhere looked so blurry.
