Baby Genius: My Daddy Is Alpha Liam

Author: : Uitwaaien1810
Genre: Werewolf
A fire burnt away all of Mandy and Liam's love. After five years, she returned in glory to reclaim justice for herself. Little did she know, the child she brought back had more courage than she did. The child stood innocently before Liam and said, "Uncle, can you help me with something? Please, Uncle." Liam felt...

Chapter 1 Alpha Liam said this is not up to you to decide!

When Mandy got her pregnancy test, she was extremely happy.

She's pregnant!

Pregnant with Liam's child!

After three years of marriage, she was finally pregnant with his child, something that had been very challenging for Mandy.

She happily walked out with the pregnancy test in her hand, eager to share this good news with Liam, only to see a familiar figure passing by the intersection.

Choco?

Liam's first love! She's back!

Mandy quickly approached, realizing that Liam, who should have been at the office, was with her, carefully escorting her. Her belly had also grown over the years.

"Liam, I'm fine, you don't need to worry, the baby is very healthy."

"It's still better to check a bit more, to be sure. After all, the child in your womb is the eldest grandson of the Anderson family. Can't afford any negligence."

Choco smiled brightly, Liam gentle as water. This scene made Mandy extremely distressed.

"What are you guys doing?"

Mandy squeezed the pregnancy test tightly in her hand, her nails piercing through the paper into her palm, but it couldn't compare to the pain in her heart.

She had been cold-blooded, enduring years of medication and doctor visits, nearly losing her life several times. She never expected that on the day she found out she was pregnant, she would see Choco pregnant with Liam's child.

"Why are you here?"

Liam suddenly frowned, his gentle gaze turning into a cold, sharp one, as if the surrounding temperature had dropped several degrees.

Seeing his change in attitude, Mandy couldn't help but step forward to question.

"Why am I here? Liam, I'm your wife, and now you're here for a prenatal checkup with your misstress with no shame asking why I'm here?"

Her questioning drew attention from those around them.

Choco suddenly burst into tears.

"Liam, I'm sorry. It's my fault involving you. If I hadn't come back, hadn't told you about the child's existence, or had been heartless enough to get rid of this child, maybe Mandy wouldn't have misunderstood. I'm sorry, it's all my fault."

After speaking, Choco turned and ran away.

"Susan, follow Ms. Choco. Be careful with her belly. If anything happens to the baby in her womb, I'll hold you responsible."

Liam's voice carried a hint of anger, and his assistant Susan quickly followed.

Mandy felt breathless. Liam had never cared for her like this before.

"Liam, you bastard!"

She raised her hand to slap Liam hard, but unexpectedly, he blocked it halfway, his strength causing Mandy to wince.

"Mandy, three years ago when you schemed your way into my bed, making it impossible for me not to marry you, you should know that in this marriage, I can't give you the affection you want. I warn you, Choco's child in her womb is extremely precious, the flesh and blood of our Anderson family. If you dare to do anything inappropriate with her, don't blame me for not considering the feelings of husband and wife."

After speaking, Liam pushed her hand away.

Mandy couldn't stand steady, swaying dangerously close to falling, she hurriedly leaned against the nearby wall, the pregnancy test falling right in front of Liam.

"Are you pregnant?"

A hint of surprise flickered in Liam's eyes.

Mandy laughed again, tears falling.

"Do you notice, Liam? Three years ago, I explained to you, but you didn't believe me. Even if I broke my heart for you, you turned a blind eye. Now your first love has given birth to your child. Liam, I love you, but I also have pride and dignity! I will destroy this child, and we should end it, too."

Mandy's heart felt like it was being cut by a knife, yet she decisively turned and walked away.

Liam's gaze became heavy.

He rushed up to Mandy, lifting her up and swiftly leaving the hospital.

"Mandy, who do you think you are? Forcing me to marry you, now saying you don't need this child, do you really think I'm easy to deal with, playing around in the palm of your hand? Let me tell you, whether to keep or destroy this child is my decision!"

"Liam, let me go! This is my child, nothing to do with you!"

Mandy angrily struggled continuously, but couldn't escape his grasp.

"Your child? Without me, can you conceive immaculately? Mandy, it's best you don't mess with me right now!"

Liam's beautiful phoenix eyes suddenly narrowed, his fierce breath making it hard to breathe, instantly enveloping the surroundings, making people feel extremely pressured.

At this moment, his phone suddenly rang.

For the sake of convenience, Liam let go of Mandy, but still held onto her with one hand, extremely domineering.

Mandy couldn't bear the pain.

Every time she had an illusion, she felt Liam paid some attention to her, like now.

"What did you say? Choco wants to commit suicide? Monitor her. I'm coming!"

Liam suddenly became tense, and Mandy's slightly warm heart grew cold.

"Mandy, go home first. I'll talk to you about this later."

Liam hung up, his brows furrowed with worry and anxiety, emotions that weren't meant for his wife.

Mandy coldly pushed him away.

"You go. She's obviously more important to you."

But her heart was bleeding.

Liam wanted to say something, but in the end, said nothing, just hailed a taxi, ushered her into it, and fled.

Mandy couldn't help but laugh bitterly.

This man always remembered someone else, even in his heart. What significance did their marriage have to continue like this?

After returning home, Mandy's maid greeted her, but she didn't seem to hear anything.

She looked at the black-and-white bedroom, completely devoid of her presence, suddenly feeling like a clown. Her marriage felt like a play, and now it really should end.

Mandy waited for Liam all night.

He didn't even make a phone call. His indifference felt like a needle stabbing into her heart.

"Sweetheart, I'm sorry, Mom can't give you a complete family. But, in the future, Mom will love you twice as much."

Tears filled Mandy's face as she signed the divorce papers she had typed all night.

Every stroke of the pen felt like it cut into her heart, causing blood to gush out.

After signing, Mandy took off the wedding ring Liam had given her, placing it on the divorce papers.

She used to cherish this ring as a treasure. Over the three years, it had left marks on her finger, and now, taking it off, the marks remained, just like her love for Liam, leaving a mark that couldn't be erased, no matter what.

Mandy felt utterly useless, afraid she would relent again. Resolutely, she picked up her luggage and left the house.

"Luna Mandy, Ms. Choco is unwell, Alpha Liam is with her. Alpha Liam instructed us to take Luna Mandy abroad. We'll leave now."

As soon as Mandy stepped outside, she saw Liam's bodyguards blocking her way, their words enraging her.

"On what grounds are you sending me abroad? I'm not going!"

"Sorry, Luna Mandy, Alpha Liam said this is not up to you to decide!"

The bodyguard spoke, then quickly approached, delivering a blow that made Mandy faint, pulling her into the car.

She was dragged to a warehouse, where her clothes were stripped off, and a man lay next to her, touching her lecherously. Cameras clicked nearby, capturing every awkward pose.

"Ms. Choco, everything is done."

After the man finished taking pictures, he called Choco.

Choco laughed coldly. "Good, I'll post these pictures online shortly. I don't believe Liam still needs a woman who betrays him as his wife, after dealing with this cleanly."

"Yes, ma'am."

After the man hung up, he poured gasoline around the warehouse, then lit a match.

The flames rose, the air temperature became stifling, making it hard to breathe.

Mandy woke up in a daze, surrounded by a sea of fire. The thick smoke made her gag, unable to open her mouth, while the flames inadvertently engulfed her.

"Help! Help!"

Mandy didn't care that she was naked. She grabbed a stick nearby and pounded on the warehouse door, hearing the guards' voices outside.

Chapter 2 When Liam saw Mandy from afar, his whole body trembled slightly.

"Luna Mandy, I'm sorry so much, Alpha Liam instructed all of this. You can rest assured and dead, Alpha Liam will choose the best resting place for you."

Mandy paused.

Did Liam want her dead?

Why?

Was it because both she and Choco were pregnant? Did he want Choco to take the future Luna position of his, and for their child to be born legitimate?

Liam, he's truly cruel!

He wouldn't even spare his own flesh and blood, would he?

Mandy felt extremely painful. She looked up at the sky and let out a long scream.

"Liam, I hate you! In this life, consider me blind to love a cold-blooded man like you. If there's a next life, I'll make you taste the feeling of being killed by the one you love!"

The roaring fire swallowed her words. She just felt suffocated, her eyelids heavy, finally unable to bear it anymore and collapsed to the ground, despite the flames burning her flesh, devouring her soul...

Five years later.

Assistant Susan handed Liam the documents.

"Alpha Liam, these are the documents from the design company HJ under Blue Moon pack. They'll be coming to Crescent pack today. Should we send someone to pick them up? They say this designer is very famous overseas, designing sports cars that are highly sought after. If it weren't for this cooperation with HJ, they wouldn't even consider sending this designer to guide us."

"Lisa?"

Liam's eyes flickered.

"Yes, it's the designer Lisa."

Susan nodded quickly.

Designer Lisa had become prominent in the past two years for her sports car designs. Her first sports car design, 'Wings of Love', had recently won first prize in an international design competition. This sports car hadn't been released to the market yet, but it was said Lisa had only produced two, and despite the high price, there were many people clamoring to buy them.

Now, because of the collaboration with HJ, Lisa was coming to Crescent pack on her own, and Liam was fond of sports cars. Susan only spoke up now because if they could keep Lisa at AFC, then...

Liam's eyes narrowed.

He took the documents about Lisa and glanced through them quickly. When he saw her real name, he suddenly paused.

Mandy!

Could Lisa's real name possibly be Mandy?

Liam's eyes widened.

"No pictures of Lisa?"

"No, HJ protects Lisa closely. I've used all my connections and still couldn't find a picture of her. They say she's an extremely beautiful girl."

Susan found it hard to believe a car designer shaking up the world could be a woman! And such a beautiful woman at that!

It didn't quite fit!

Would any woman be interested in cars?

Liam had no doubts like Susan. He stared at the one letters 'Mandy' on the documents for a long, long time, his eyes flashing with a light that made it hard to discern his emotions, but his fingers instinctively tapped on the table, each tap had a rhythm, making the atmosphere in the office slightly heavy.

"Alpha Liam..."

"Arrange it, I'll go pick her up myself."

Finally, Liam spoke up, his eyes lit with an unusual light.

Mandy!

This one word was absolutely accurate. Was it truly just a coincidence?

After the big fire five years ago, nobody found Mandy's body. The police said the fire was too intense, her body must have been burned to ashes, but Liam still didn't believe she was dead.

And now, could this Lisa possibly be named Mandy?

He really wanted to see this designer.

Susan was a little dazed. Over the years, there weren't many people who could make Liam go pick them up personally, but he only hesitated for a second before hastily regaining his composure, turning to leave and arrange things.

When the car arrived at the airport, Mandy's flight had just landed.

She pulled her luggage out of the security checkpoint. She had long, wavy brown hair, a figure proportionate, and stunning features, immediately attracting everyone's attention. The little boy beside her was dressed comfortably in white clothes, with thin skin and long eyelashes blinking, making people want to pinch his cheek, but he lazily followed alongside Mandy, looking very indifferent, yet his beautiful phoenix eyes made people involuntarily hesitate to approach.

"Dennis, this is Crescent pack, not Blue Moon pack. Drop the arrogant attitude and stick close to me."

Mandy scolded her son with this expression, feeling heartbroken.

Dennis raised his hand and kicked his feet, displaying more and more shades of Liam. Sometimes she couldn't help but admit the strength of genetics, but she wished Dennis resembled her more.

"Mami, what should I do?"

Dennis shrugged innocently, looking mischievous.

Mandy chuckled and shook her head, reaching out to lightly poke the boy's neck, saying, "Don't use that innocent face to manipulate others. You're my son, don't I understand you? I'm warning you, this time back to Crescent pack, you must behave yourself. No causing trouble, do you hear me?"

"Don't worry, Mom, you go back to work, and I'll go back to see where you used to live. I won't do anything. Mami, I'm your son. Why do you treat me like an enemy?"

Dennis pouted, showing dissatisfaction.

Mandy affectionately tousled his hair, saying, "Your belly is full of tricks. Of course, Mom has to remind you a few times. Let's go, we'll leave the airport first, later I'll call Aunt Anna to come take us and we will stay at her home for a few days."

"Yes, mom."

Dennis smiled like an angel, taking Mandy's hand and walking out.

Suddenly, Dennis noticed a familiar figure.

The demeanor of that person was seven or eight parts similar to him. Although he stood far away, the boy could still feel that icy breath.

Is that Liam?

Daddy in his legends?

Dennis sneaked a glance at Mandy, seeing her looking for a phone number, then suddenly hugged her stomach.

"Oh, mommy, I have a stomachache. I need to go to the bathroom!"

Mandy heard her son shouting loudly, then looked over. Dennis was clutching his stomach, his face flushed, his little feet shuffling back and forth, as if he couldn't bear it.

"I come with you."

After saying that, Mandy wanted to pick Dennis up, but the boy ran away, lifting his legs and running.

"No need, mommy, I can't wait, you wait outside, I'll be back soon."

Dennis ran outside at lightning speed.

Seeing the boy like that, Mandy shook her head indulgently and made a phone call.

"Anna, it's Mandy, I'm back."

Mandy called Anna, her former best friend. They hadn't lost touch over the past five years. Now Anna was a kindergarten teacher and was thrilled to hear the news of her return.

"When are you coming back? I'll take a few days off to pick you up. Are you at the airport?"

Anna was extremely happy.

"No need to pick me up. I'll bring Dennis back with me. Later, we'll take a car straight to your house."

Mandy spoke while walking, not seeing someone bumping into each other ahead.

"Sorry, I didn't see you."

She quickly raised her head to apologize, but then became bewildered.

It's him!

Liam!

This truly was a small world!

When Liam saw Mandy from afar, his whole body trembled slightly.

That figure, the way she walked, was so much like Mandy!

He couldn't help but approach intentionally.

Susan was also astonished. She had never seen Liam actively interact with any woman before, especially after Luna Mandy's incident five years ago. He had been like an iceberg, making people unwilling to approach. Actively getting so close was truly a first.

He couldn't help but take another look at Mandy, immediately surprised by her beauty.

That beautiful face was truly perfect, like an artist, neither too much nor too little sculpted it.

And Liam himself was taken aback.

Chapter 3 I know! I promise I won’t say anything!

But he quickly regained his composure, furrowing his brows slightly, instinctively taking a step back, and coldly said, "Carefully."

Mandy smirked inwardly.

His face now looked completely different from before.

She still vividly remembered how the flames scorched her skin to the bone, enduring the pain for the sake of protecting the child in her womb, enduring the agony for nine months, before undergoing surgery after giving birth.

Every night, she would wake up from nightmares, tears wetting her pillow time and time again. Now, facing the perpetrator right in front of her, she couldn't help but clench her fists tightly, wishing she could tear his face apart, rip his heart out, to see what color his heart was, and she wanted to ask him one question: does he even have a heart?

Mandy held the half-eaten candy stick Dennis had given her, accidentally bumping into Liam, and the candy stick stuck to his suit.

She chuckled, saying, "Sorry, didn't see you there. Your clothes are dirty now. Should I compensate you with another set? Do you have a phone number? I'll have someone deliver it to you."

Mandy's voice was slightly hoarse.

Liam's eyes flickered with a hint of disappointment.

It wasn't her!

Not only was the face different, but even the voice wasn't hers.

He still remembered Mandy's voice being as clear as a nightingale's, yet despite the beautiful woman before him, her voice was deep and husky. Perhaps to others, this voice was seductive, but he felt nothing at all.

Liam's expression turned as cold as ice.

"No need, just the suit."

With that, he took off his suit jacket and threw it into the nearby trash bin in front of Mandy, as if disposing of something utterly repulsive.

Mandy pursed her lips slightly.

In Liam's eyes, she might be a woman pleasing to him, wanting to approach him to establish contact.

Mandy gave a bitter smile, looking at his retreating figure, wondering how he would react when he found out she was the designer he was about to welcome.

Liam suddenly felt a twinge of anger, not sure what he was angry about.

Clearly, the woman wasn't Mandy, but why did she feel so familiar?

No!

It's not her!

It's Mandy, and if he approached her, she would surely be delighted. He knew Mandy's feelings for him, but the woman before him showed no emotion whatsoever.

Those eyes of hers were so much like Mandy's!

Liam suddenly stopped in his tracks, Susan, unable to stop in time, bumped into his back.

"Alpha Liam, I'm sorry."

Susan touched her sore nose, hastily stepping back two steps, only to notice Liam's gaze still fixed on Mandy.

After meeting Liam, Mandy went straight to the restroom, her footsteps and demeanor catching his attention.

"Alpha Liam, are you interested in that woman?"

Liam suddenly glared at Susan, who quickly bit her tongue, silencing herself.

"I need to use the restroom."

Liam didn't know what was wrong with him. Feeling extremely frustrated, he turned around and hurried towards the restroom.

Susan rarely saw him like this. Of course, she didn't dare to follow, just stood waiting outside.

As Liam entered the restroom, he splashed water on his face, trying to clear his mind a bit, but suddenly felt someone tugging at his jacket.

Liam furrowed his brows, turning to see a four-year-old boy looking up at him, his tiny hand gripping the hem of his jacket, wanting to say something.

"Hi!"

Liam's gaze was icy, his whole being emitting a presence that could make an ordinary person step back, yet the boy in front of him remained unfazed.

Those eyes of his made Liam feel strangely familiar.

"Sir, can you help me with something?"

Dennis stared at Liam, his innocent gaze making Liam's heart soften.

"Where are your parents?"

"My mom can't use the men's restroom!"

Dennis pouted his small mouth, his face a little embarrassed.

Liam looked at the little dumpling-like boy in front of him, suddenly sighed and said, "What do you need help with?"

"My zipper got stuck, but I'm in a hurry. Can you help me unzip my pants?"

As Dennis spoke, he kept shifting his weight from one leg to the other, as if he couldn't hold it any longer.

Liam sighed softly, then squatted down.

The little one seemed so helpless and adorable. Normally, Liam wouldn't waste his time doing something like this, but now, he felt like he wasn't himself anymore.

"How old are you? Why would your mom let you wear pants like this?"

He saw that Dennis' zipper was indeed stuck, furrowing his brows.

"I'm five years old! I'm already a grown-up boy!"

"A grown-up boy who can't even fix a stuck zipper?"

Normally Liam wouldn't talk so much, but he doesn't know what's wrong with him right now. He just feels that the child in front of him makes him feel very comfortable, so he can't help but say two more sentences.

There was a flash of emotion in Dennis's eyes, so fast that people couldn't catch it.

"Done."

The moment Liam pulled down the boy's pants, Dennis immediately cried out.

"Ah, uncle, I can't stand it anymore!"

"What?"

As soon as Liam finished speaking, a wave of hot water with a strange smell immediately splashed on his face.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it!"

Dennis quickly apologized, then crawled into the bathroom like a loach, closing the door.

Only then did Liam understand what was sprayed on his face!

Damn!

The guy who is the General Director of AFC Group had a kid pee on his face?

Liam got angry.

"You rotten boy, come here for me!"

It's been many years since he's been this angry.

Dennis leaned forward in the bathroom, a smile forming on the corner of his mouth, achieving his goal, but his voice choked up: "Sorry, I really couldn't help it just now. Wait a minute, can I ask my mom to give you the money? Or should I let you pee again?"

These words almost made Liam's throat choke.

The guy who is the general director of AFC Group, the Alpha male of the Crescent Pack, actually urinated on a child's face?

Can he say that?

Liam only felt that the fire in his heart could neither go up nor down, and the feeling on his face made him extremely uncomfortable.

He quickly took water to wash it off, but still felt uncomfortable. He continuously rubbed hand sanitizer on his face three or four times, but did not feel the smell getting any less.

Dennis always hears noises outside and smiles brightly.

Let dad bully mom!

Dad doesn't need us!

Let him give him a brief lesson today, consider the profits of these years, later we will slowly calculate the account!

The bottom of Dennis's eyes flashed with excitement because he had achieved his goal, but his voice was still choked: "Uncle, can you please stop hitting me? Think of it as if your son peed on you. I really didn't mean it. Can you also not tell my mother? Mom will beat me to death! Huhu!"

In the end, Dennis actually pretended to cry twice.

Liam's movements suddenly stopped.

His son?

If Mandy hadn't died that year, would their child have been around this age?

Liam looked at his reverse image in the mirror. He had never been this disheveled, his hair was wet with water sticking to his forehead, those black phoenix eyes were filled with anger.

Phoenix eyes?

Liam suddenly realized that the child from before also had eyes exactly like his.

No wonder he feels evil boy is familiar. It turns out it's because of those eyes.

In the entire moon pack, there are people with phoenix eyes that can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Maybe that's why he has a little patience with that kid.

Liam sighed and said coldly: "Don't tell anyone about today, not even your mother, do you hear me? If we meet again in the future, don't say that we know you."

"Yes, I know! I promise I won't say anything!"

Dennis quickly spoke up, so obediently that people couldn't bear to blame him.

Today he must suffer from this disadvantage.

He angrily looked back into the bathroom, then angrily left.

"Alpha Liam, what's wrong with you?"

Outside, there was an assistant's panicked cry, and Liam strode away.

Dennis heard there was no more noise outside before leaving the bathroom. The boy looked in the direction Liam left, the corner of his lips curled slightly, his small hand took out a pinhole camera from under the sink. Wash his hands before leaving the bathroom.
