Chapter 1: Chris Meets Alpha Dominic

The moon hung low in the velvety night sky, casting a silvery glow over the dense forest that cradled the territory of the Crescent Moon Pack. The rustling leaves whispered secrets to the wind, and the scent of pine and earth mingled in the air. It was a night like any other, yet for Chris, it held the promise of something new. That night was different from all kind of night that had been giving free breeze to the inhabitants of the werewolf around that forest. It was something no one had expected to happen in years, many people have been going through a dynamic method of surviving in the recent years and there is no room for difference in the life of Chris, the future alpha to the heir of Alpha Liam. Even though Alpha Liam had treated his daughter more than how nice he gave to Chris. Still yet, Chris never got disappointed for once. He is always lonely and always leave the pack by night to relax in a cliff in the most high place of the facility. It has been easy for him and everyone could even imaging what he is facing. All the girls in the pack, always belittle him because of the way Alpha Liam treated him. He even consider himself as weakling to the throne of the pack in the future. How would everyone treat him when he become an Alpha in the future coming years? Will they even consider the catapults of feeling guilt around his heart for years? Ever since he has emerged the first of the werewolf annual conventional champion teen challenge. His father has started hating him, just because Chris faces his little sister Emily in the final round, Alpha Liam had always thought that his little Emily will become first and then many Alpha, teen Alpha can come to pay for her bride price in dollar. Of course Alpha Liam sworn to himself saying:

"I'll never give my daughter to any useless mate fated by moon goddess." He continued his speech that day. "if he didn't have money, he better go and hang himself instead of finding a way to reach out to my lovely Emily. "

When everyone heard about this, the Omegas were praying secretly never to be the one to be fated with such a girl. Because they didn't even think they could pay any huge amount of money for Alpha Liam who is a big money lover. So, when Chris created some sharp winning in the final, it killed her father's dream sending him to some kind of tears and crying every day. He couldn't even feel himself too much again. Though, he still love his sister so much than any other girl in that pack.

He set to leave to his usual his spot that night. He knew that was always fun and he enjoy every bit of it.

Emily find him, set to leave the pack immediately.

"Where are you going this time around?," She asked with anger in her eyes, of course she was upset she lost to her brother. "You think you can go and meet any other girl when I haven't find any man to rest my head on his chest? Do you think I'll ever allow such thing to happen?"

A small grip fall on his mouth, Chris with unruly dark hair never bother to even argue with her. He said to her secretly. "I didn't have a woman as well. And even if I have one, she wasn't bought like how father want to sell you off to those cruel underworld men. You don't understand something..." He sighed before moving closer to her, she shifted back with fears, that fears she saw that day of the winning competition had to get her down and she always do what she couldn't even imaging herself doing.

Always abusing her brother.

Luna Dona, their mother, had never expected her husband and mate, with daughter to treat their blood that way.

So she always to traveling for month, of hide herself and cry herself out.

That wasn't even what had been giving her sadness but when Emily ONCE called her mother a prostitute. That had made them apart for months or years now.

What was she thinking. What exactly was she gaining talking this rude way?

But Chris didn't even resist it's moment anytime soon.

"....you are not thinking Well about your future should be. You're following dad's selfish interest which will never help you, rather, it will increase your long suffering days on the earth." He finished up.

"That wasn't my concern, are you really going to meet another lady? Are you going to abandon your sister at home and go meet another lady when you're the mystery she couldn't find a man last summer?" She asks, with tears in her eyes.

"I didn't ever expect you to be this dumb!." He yells at her. "I don't have a woman. I haven't find my mate, and you're still seventeen for Christ sake!"

"And do they say that I can't be with someone that I love at age seventeen?" A terrifying smirk around her lips, Emily looks like the devil she is. "You think everyone can keep their feelings down until one goddamn age. I am not ready to act like a wolf. That day you cheated on me."

"How?" He asks her, "cheat on you? I can't never watch you say something bad about me? Do you know how many sacrifice I have made?"

"Oh, sweet sacrifice harborer!" She laughed in mockery tone. "I thought my brother is more sensible than he is acting up now."

"I don't have your shitty time!" He says and walks away.

"Com back here!" Emily yells. "I'll tell dad, that you have a lover you're always meeting. You should know how dad's fang and claws looks like when clawing your cheeks."

"Tell that to your asshole father!" He says loudly enough for the guards to look at them.

The two guards laugh out, Emily got them this time around. She is really angry.

"Why are you two laughing?" She asks. "Come here!"

They obeyed her as they were afraid for their fate.

"We're talking about something else ma!" The older one, mumbles out with fears.

"You must be crazy for adding ma at the end of your statement." She smirks wickedly. "How old are you?"

"Thirty two!" The man said with some shame.

"And you're adding that suffix to my name?" She yelled and gave the man a terrible slap. "You're old enough to man up your ball and give birth to someone about my age. Here you are laughing at two siblings fight, laughing when he called my father an asshole!"

"I wasn't laughing about that!" The man tried to explain even though he was lying.

Emily stares at the car park in the pack house surrounding but no car in the parking lot.

"Fuck!" She said. "You allow him to leave isn't it?"

"I didn't know you were after him!" The second guard say with a low bow. "I never know you were still going to be after him. I thought you have talked things out. "

"Of course, you stayed over there, hearing what we were discussing. Come and join them. Three of you, are in serious trouble today." She commands.

The third man joined them as they were on their kneel.

"You will run around the pack house for sixty laps" she said and sat down in cushion.

Chris parked his car down the cliff before climbing up up the cliff.

It reminds him of the battle he almost died three years ago.

That was after losing his heart to his first girlfriend, Mina.

It was such an heartbroken for him that he couldn't comprehend.

Chris, a lean and sinewy young man with unruly dark hair and piercing green eyes, stood atop a cliff that overlooked the vast expanse of his pack's land. Restless energy coursed through him as he took in the tranquility of the surroundings. He had always felt a strange yearning deep within, a craving for adventure and change beyond the confines of his pack.

Staring at then pack's lands vast expanse give him memories when their family were still in harmony and peace. It was all in disparate treatment at this moment.

He carve for more love from his sister, he prayed that she could love him just like how they each other before.

His lips were really pink, making all girls drool over him in the past years.

Until when his father begins his rules that torment himself.

His father even withdraw him from the University of Claws.

That was the last straw he faced after knocking down his sister in the final tournament.

But Alpha Liam never told him to give that title over to Emily.

Was it really his fault?

Did he really deserves all what is happening around him?

What if he really deserves it?

Does that means the moon goddess is selfish with destiny sharing?

All those thoughts were giving him some dark views about life.

Unbeknownst to Chris, his life was about to take a dramatic turn that would forever alter the course of his destiny. Just as he was about to turn away from the mesmerizing view, a powerful presence approached from behind. Chris tensed, his senses on high alert.

He had never felt like that before, he has never felt too terrible like he is feeling at this moment.

The power scent coming toward him.

His breath taking a lot break.

He didn't know what coming up but he still manage to brighten his mind up that he would wrestle whatever comes his way.

Life serve him bunch of bitches and he fuck the bitches up all his life.

Unbelievable. The voice. The tone.

"Enjoying the view?" a deep and resonant voice broke the silence. Chris spun around to find a figure emerging from the shadows. Tall and imposing, with an aura of authority that demanded attention, stood Alpha Dominic. His strong jaw was chiseled, and his eyes, a captivating shade of stormy gray, bore into Chris with a mix of curiosity and intensity.

Chris felt a flutter in his chest, a reaction he couldn't quite explain. He straightened himself and nodded, unable to tear his gaze away from the enigmatic alpha before him. "Yes, Alpha Dominic. The night is... breathtaking."

Dominic stepped closer, his presence enveloping Chris like a warm embrace. "You can call me Dominic," he said, a hint of a smile playing at the corner of his lips. "No need for formalities here."

Chris found himself drawn to Dominic's warmth and openness. It was a stark contrast to the rigid hierarchy he had grown up with. "Dominic, then," he replied, his voice tinged with a mixture of respect and curiosity. "What brings you here tonight?"

Dominic's gaze held a touch of vulnerability as he looked out over the land. "Sometimes, I come here to think. To remind myself that there's more to our world than power struggles and rivalries."

Chris raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Dominic's words. "And do you find what you're looking for?"

Dominic turned his gaze back to Chris, and a genuine smile tugged at his lips. "Tonight, I believe I might have."

"My pack and your dad's pack are really close up before things goes wrong."

"Really? He never told us anything." Chris replied.

Alpha Dominic nods his head. "Yes, he had made up his mind never to have anything to do with me again in his entire living on earth. But all these are just nothing I should worried about. We all have what bothers us and what we want to resolve, if not one but two things sometimes." He replied with some bad sneering.

"He said that you left him to die in a battle, is that right?"

"Not really what happened, his pack and mine are of course of different sectors. But we belong to same council. So we do fight war and battles together for a longer year." He replied.

Chris stare at his face, he felt something sparking in his heart. Apart from that, his eye caught that of Alpha Dominic's own, he tried to get that of his look. It was really something unexpected.

"You're not telling me something, ain't you?" Chris mumbled staring at him.

He sneered. "Yes, an aconites were sprinkle around him when he was caught that day. I got frightened because I don't know how to face them. All I could do was trying communicate with him but I couldn't do that. Because the pains around him were inflicting more pains to him than anyone could help expect." He said.

"So you didn't really harm him?" Chris asks, of course he didn't hate his father that much. He still love him even though he was training him like a shit.

Chris couldn't leave the mindset that love come from the heart. And even with his failure to meet his mate, he doubt maybe he will be able to become the next Alpha.

Alpha Liam had warned him that he should get himself a mate or else his future might not give unto him what he wants.

Then, since then he had been thinking who could become the Alpha of the pack if not him. That wasn't that brave enough but could caught anyone's attention.

Alpha Dominic Liam stared at him and nodded his head. "Why would I hurt him?"

"Then why was he really getting angry?" Disgusting look on his face.

"Your father wasn't welcomed like they does to me. I blamed the council for that bad exploit they did." Alpha Dominic said without thinking for a single seconds.

"And you think the best thing was for you two to get into some battle?" Chris asks.

Alpha Dominic replied, "why should I really think that was the best thing to do? He started all this shit and my pack will take me for weak wolf If I couldn't protect them."

"You're right. He is always frustrating everyone like they're his slaves." Chris testified to that.

"He is still your father." Alpha Dominic says, "you Should really be whom you wanted to be. Maybe the first him I saw over fifteen years wasn't truly him."

"How could someone hide his behaviors for fifteen years?" Chris asks in shock.

"That was why I am saying , maybe he just changed his behavior or he was hiding it that whole fifteen years."

"It can't be true, even some secrets can't be hidden for two good fucking years. Not speaking of that fucking whole five times three years." Chris couldn't believe all that. Was that really true? His father or any human being couldn't take that for a go head.

"Your father might just have changed over time. You know humans grew with constant change which called growth. If he didn't grow with some constant change, then he isn't human. Though we are not really human being but we act and do like how the humans do." Alpha Dominic flipped down. "You should know one time as well, you cannot know humans behavior just a day or month or year. Dear, humans are really not what you think they are. Some are just hiding black under white so that others can see only that white. It baffles me how your father change."

"I think you have spoken all."

"Might be not."

"Why don't you really do like him?" Chris ask.

"How?"

"He is always harsh, and never speak to anyone."

"Even your mother?" Alpha Dominic asks.

Chris nods. "Not even his wife, or me. The only person he cares about is Emily. I think Emily is the only person he cares about now just because he has a plan which is hidden from her."

"Very captivating. Well that is was how we became friend and enemy." Alpha Dominic says.

Chris listened intently, captivated by Dominic's passion and determination to create a better world for his pack. He found himself opening up in return, sharing tales of his own dreams and ambitions that had always felt stifled within the pack's confines.

As dawn approached, Dominic finally stood, his eyes fixed on the horizon. "It's time for me to head back," he said with a sigh. "Duties await."

Chris nodded, a pang of disappointment washing over him. "Thank you for sharing this moment with me, Dominic."

Dominic's gaze softened as he turned to Chris. "The pleasure was mine, Chris."

Before he could fully comprehend what was happening, Chris found himself extending his hand. Dominic looked at it for a moment, surprise evident in his eyes, before he smiled and clasped it firmly. The touch sent a jolt of electricity through Chris, leaving him breathless.

As they parted ways, Chris watched Dominic's figure recede into the forest, a sense of longing settling in his chest. The encounter had stirred something within him, a yearning for a connection that transcended tradition and boundaries.

Little did Chris know that his meeting with Alpha Dominic was just the beginning of a journey that would test his loyalty, challenge his beliefs, and ultimately lead him to a love that defied all odds.

Yet, he didn't want the best bad thing to happen to him at this moment. He want the best for himself. So he quickly went down the cliff and get into his car.

But a roar from far come into the place, a beast shattering the whole darkness, a wolf after it. And it became a very freight stage for Chris. Then another wolf joined the wolf. They fought together and was able to Kill the beast. After much time, the friend who turned into enemy were facing themselves.

Alpha Liam stared at the car and find out it was his son.

"What are you doing here with him?" He ask.

"And do you caught us together?"

"I asked a question."

"Same thing which I did." Alpha Dominic replied, with anger. Their face has changed back.

"You think I am joking? You can't possibly in your pack and heard the beast coming this direction. "

"And you can't possibly be minding your business too, cause if you're doing you wouldn't have fall into the cage of a beast." Alpha Dominic replied.

Two of them were facing themselves, it was really scary for Chris. He didn't know what was happening.

"You should stay away from my pack." Alpha Liam groaned.

"You Should do the same thing sweetheart." Alpha Dominic show his handsomest, his good looking face. Before walking through the depth of the forest.

The journey back home was really terrible for Chris, he didn't expect to meet his father around the cliff not talking of them coming home in the same car. All these baffle him a lot.

"You Should get to the office after me now" Alpha Liam says before walking to his office and not staring at any single souls.

Emily was sitting down not knowing what was happening, but could sense something was wrong. Her brother his in trouble again.

Chris walked inside the house, stared at Emily.

"You got yourself into some troubles?" She asks. "Why do you always getting father's attention."

"And that is if you could speak to him..." Chris replied. "We are his family and not a slave. He should treat us like we are humans. This isn't a werewolf shit. He should just let us live in harmony. I wonder how much you need to understand how much enemy we made already."

"And how was father's fault or mine?" Emily asked with anger.

"His lackadaisical attitude is causing a lot of soul." Chris replied. "We lost about hundred armies in the last battle."

"Does father slaughter them by himself?"

That question sent a quick sprint down his chest.

He has never expected this from this little sisters of his.

He has thought that she just changed a little bit. But now, he is getting it that even her heart wasn't the same one anymore. Her heart has been changed and definitely he might suffer a lot of danger in his own life and their mother.

"You mean that doesn't mean anything towards how father was ruling and making enemies with everyone around him...?"

"Father was doing what every alpha would do. That devilish Alpha Dominic is too dangerous and need to be punish. Father is doing the best to keep us safe at all cost."

That got him annoyed at a instance. He has never felt such before. It seems like that was the little thing he could feel at this moment.

His wolf. His wolf couldn't let Alpha Dominic got insulted by his little sister. He let out just a little bit groan..

"You should mind how you speak of him."

Emily got stranded at this moment, his brother was even supporting man too over her. That was the last straw she has ever expected to happen in her life.

It is happening and it's real. A really bad affection giving her a huge troubles.

He noticed that immediately and said to her:

"He is just a good man....you wouldn't know this until you hear about the story clearly. Dad is feeding us with all sorts of lies because he couldn't stand that face of his old Friend."

Emily just smiled , an wry kind of. She was feeling it all through her mind, she could sense the troubles revolving around her. She is managing to be a good man tonight. And maybe he might win just that.

"Dreadful man. I have never grow to see how dumbest you look at this moment. "

"I am still your order brother." He said. "No matter what's happening at this time, you don't just fuck my authority. I have power over you."

"You see how you're behaving. Just like your mentor, Alpha Dominic. You're going to be wicked, dangerous and cruel like him in the next few years. Have you ever wondered why the moon goddess haven't granted his heart desire?.. it is beautiful for you to know what you're going to become in forthcoming years, a single ..soul...without any fucking woman by his side.... isn't it what Alpha Dominic is. He remains bachelor still till date ..I wonder why his pack couldn't say something ..about that his singleness."

"It's because they're been serious with their life more than you could have thought. Unlike you, a single woman who was to be sold off to as a mate by her father.-"

That was Chris saying this, he realizes what he had just said but he never regret any single thing out of it. Instead he kept asking himself same question and same thing how he could get out of that silly life that was been given to him by his father and younger sister. All this seems to be unreal but, it's real.

"You kept saying this. ... how dare you? how long are you going to keep saying this sick words?" Emily asks with tears in her eyes. That was the fact she couldn't believe, why would he continued to using this term on her. She thought that he loves her, maybe she was just hallucinating.

"Get serious with your life." Chris mumbled with no regret as he walked toward the office. He stares back seeing his sister lost in thought. That was the first time things are going his way. He never regret things that are happening in his presence today.

Getting to the office, the room looks as always. Though little untidy at this moment, maybe the cruel Alpha Liam is also a dirty gigantic good for nothing man.

"It been fifteen minutes since we arrives back from that cave, I ask you to be here immediately isn't it?"

That was Alpha Liam, he is really good at asking and investigating something unreal before giving his wicked judgement to who is at fault or not.

"Yes, but Emily stopped me."

Alpha Liam stared at him for some seconds, that is the first time Chris standing for what is his own. And no doubts no he wasn't surprised.

"What were you doing at that cave by night?"

Chris stares at him, before saying: "To relax my brain, you have cause a lot of trouble that I need to think of how to get my life into something better. You risk every single souls life in this pack and you never thought it was going to baddie if things aren't taking care of." Chris says.

"Who is giving you this boldness to stand before me?" Alpha Liam asks. "Let me guess that man is giving you more huge back bone, when he can't even save himself not to talk him saving you. Listen this is a family thing you must harken to it, get yourself a lady before the moon shows off."

That was too hard for Alpha Liam to say, wolf discuss mate for themselves. But Alpha Liam want his son to get himself one.

"You know, we must be mated to someone who is chosen by the moon goddess." Chris says. "How do you think I should trust this to be something I should do."

"Of course, you don't need to trust in doing that. If you don't do it, then you should be ready to be getting banished out of my pack. You're supposed to have a mate, you weakling soul." Alpha Liam replied.

"And concerning that fucking stupid man selling me off. He will face a lot of trouble as I am reporting him of to the council."

Alpha Liam walks closer to him, "you don't have to prove your stupidity to doubt my commands. You know how much I can be in declaring someone dead or banished. You wouldn't be excused from this too. Get your ass out of my pack." He yells at Chris.

Chris walks out of the office looking so sad, his sister, Emily could see that something was wrong again. But instead, she keep it to herself and minds her business, of course she isn't the one behind all those hatred even though his name always mentioned first.

Crimson's pack

The cool breeze were blowing easily, the sky was blue and then the falling of the dries leaves. The pack was located in an ancient forest, and closer to the wood heading to Alpha Liam pack. Crimson's pack was been ruled by Alpha Dominic. He possessed so much power as any other one.

One thing about this pack, was that some were witchcraft and wolf together.

It been years now till, the moon fall on them. It was believe that it was the handiwork of the witch who hate the falling of moon, though some Love it, while some just want to use it to prove their power and strength, with how much they could be beneficial to the whole pack when battle erupted.

At the pack house, everyone were back to their actual daily work. All of them doing what they could, just to prove themselves.

The younger ones were been dresses and ready to go to their school.

School are mandatory for everyone in the pack, teens, to be specific.

Alpha Dominic couldn't believe what happened yesterday, the feeling, the sparkling, and the touches were really hard to forget about.

He tries to get himself off what he had never felt before. But he had no clue about what could be the reason. Some few years ago, he thought he had met the one for his heart, his name is Clifford. Clifford and Dominic loved themselves so much that, they could have gotten married, as bisexuality, they could rules the crimson's pack together, sleep in the same duvet until something he had never felt before happened.

Clifford tried to steal his position from him, Clifford tried to poison him. But Alpha Dominic was too smart to caught him even before he could put his plan into an action. That prove him too smart than anyone could believe.

Clifford was Banished from the pack after knowing his intentions and he never returned.

That was how his first love life started, though, that wasn't all. He met Celine seventeen years ago, same time the battle was about to begins. Celine pretend to love him, almost sending him to some undefined terms that he couldn't comply with sometimes. Celine always make him reject any offer to send him far away to some packs that would make them do apart for too long. Because she thought that when they are apart for some single moment, the love between them are going to be down. And he will surely bring home another lady.

That was before, Celine was claimed by another Alpha that she was his mate.

At first it was too hard for him to believe, trust and work easily off.

But as time goes on, speed fast. He knew he couldn't do anything else he would be causing the pack a lot of pains, which wasn't in his plan for the next fifty years. Everyone knows him so much, his pack, his life.

That was his past love life.

He stood up, then an arrow shot into his door...... becoming more than one, two and three....
