Chapter 1 ABANDONED

'She felt ABANDONED'

Her Aquamarine eyes held bewildered as she couldn't stop herself from staring at the man who was panicky looking back at her.

Something wasn't right at the moment. Something was off from the personality of that person whom she loved so much.

She knew it, she understood but still, There was a nagging sound in her head and heart that made her nervous as a small cloud of fear started to form in her heart.

"What are you trying to say JAGAT?", Controlling her tears, She asked him.

"I'm leaving for good", JAGAT, that man spoke but inside he wasn't calm.

"You are leaving me? For what and for whom?", She asked as she chuckled softly after listening to him.

"There's no one in my life and you know this too", Jagat said but she shook her head negatively and stared at him then asked, "Just tell me the truth. What are you hiding from me?"

"Go! Hide yourself well. Leave NY as soon as possible", Jagat said and she looked confused at him, "What do you mean?".

"The work that I'd accepted is very dangerous. Opponents are very cruel that's why I don't want anyone to know about you, about us. I don't want to leave any link of us, here for them to capture you. Now, do you understand what I'm telling you?", JAGAT said and she was quick enough to catch the fear and pain in his deep black eyes.

"You are on the wrong path again? I thought you left this job", She looked broken as she asked him.

"I never did and I can't. This is like a swamp mud. It'll only pull me into this. There's no way of return", He grittedly spoke but she looked down at the floor.

"So, is this our last meeting?", She asked, her voice low and painful.

"Yes!", He answered straightly.

"You are ABANDONING me?", Her words pierced his heart as they both stared at each other.

"I'm protecting you", Jagat replied calmly but she laughed at his words.

"I have always hated illegal work Jagat" " she said as her mind was full of the moments that they spent together.

"That's why it's better to part ways", Jagat said, he was afraid to lose her that was the reason for him to take this step by parting their ways.

"But I'm not alone Jagat. I'm pregnant and you are leaving me in this condition. Are you not more cruel than your opponents?", Her eyes lifted upwards and bore into him as she spoke harshly.

"What?", Shock was visible on his face and his eyes widened.

It wasn't in his plan to drag his love into this mess of a game of vengeance but now everything completely changed from what he had exactly planned to do.

"Yes! I'm pregnant and you are discarding me in the name of protection", Her voice sounded venomous to him as he stood frozen at his spot.

As long as he said something, at the same time, his mobile bell rang, and saw the number. He panicked received the call and spoke only three words, "I am coming"

"So, you are really good to leave me" " she asked and tears dropped from her beautiful aquamarine eyes that she got from her descendants.

I cannot protect you and this baby from this cruel Dark world. It'll be better for you to abort the child and hide yourself from all this shit. Leave NY and go somewhere else, far from all this", Her tears were making him sad and he spoke angrily and turned away from her.

But Jagat stopped and suddenly put a heavy envelope full of cash on the desk for her to leave NY and survive in another place. Now she was pregnant and he knew that she would never kill their child. She was different from him. She wasn't a cruel woman. She always hoped to have a family with him, to live peacefully but everything suddenly took a U-turn in life when his boss gave him a task to fulfill and he wouldn't dare to fail.

His eyes were red due to pain as stopped in between his steps again and uttered without looking back at her, "And forget about me"

She stared blankly at the door where he walked out of her life. Tears made her vision blurry.

HE LEFT HER.

HE ABANDONED HER.

HE ABANDONED HIS UNBORN CHILD.

Breaking her heart, Jagat walked fast as he could not hold his tears back. He hid himself from the eyes of other men of his group and cried out loudly.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry", Jagat said as he took out his Wallet tore their picture into small pieces, and dumped it into the dustbin.

He never wanted to leave her but it was necessary to protect her from his illegal work.

"These people are cruel and heartless. They'll use you against me. They'll torture you. I can't do this to you. These enemies are the worst but my group is full of Inhumans. I want you to be unreachable. No one knows about your existence in my life and now an unexpected baby in this unwanted war zone. It's unbelievable and I'm helpless. I've to work for my boss and I don't want my love and child to be ruined in all of this bloodthirsty revenge", JAGAT spoke wiped his tears, and stepped towards the car which was waiting for him to join the group.

Jagat went to fulfill his job.

She, too left NY to protect her baby. She knew Jagat loved her and their child but it wasn't their time to live together, stay together, and enjoy the moment of welcoming their child.

"Don't worry baby. I'll never abandon you", she spoke and traced her flat stomach.

She needed to live and survive in this new, unfamiliar place only for her child.

Chapter 2 A Door To Heaven

"I am not crying 'cause you left me on my own.

I am not crying 'cause you left me with no warning.

I am just crying cause I cannot escape even when you leave me free"

CIEL means Heaven)

..

It was around the beginning of Autumn when the suffocating humidity started.

The roar of rain as droplets pelted the ground made the trunks of the trees droop heavily.

Occasionally the sky would glow, then ominously undulate with the roll of thunder, and rain would fall to the ground.

Lightning strikes were accompanied by tearing rumbles that ripped across the sky.

The river, which normally trickled gently, now rose Fiercely. Its tempo was unpredictable and beating wildly.

In front of nature and its glorious form, humans were tiny.

She was scared to the point where she wanted to close her eyes and cry about her miserable fate.

"Mummy!", A little girl around six called her.

"Yes! My Child", Her mother said.

"Are we going to stay in heaven?", the girl with two pigtails asked her mother.

"Yes! We are going to heaven and we will meet good people there too" " her mother said to her.

To the little girl, Heaven was a place of peace, love, community, and worship, where God was surrounded by good people who worked as Angels.

Her deep black eyes were enchantingly wide as she bounced like a ball.

They were drenched in rain and their clothes were sticking to their bodies.

Both mother and daughter stood in front of the main gate of the Sikh temple. She came to help in the work of the Langer process.

(A/N:- In Sikhism, a langar is the community kitchen of a gurdwara, which serves meals to all free of charge, regardless of religion, caste, gender, economic status, or ethnicity)

She took a deep breath and suddenly she heard small sneezes coming from her daughter. She took her daughter on her waist and moved to the narrow path beside the Gurdwara Sahib.

Through her shivering hands, she knocked on the door of a house.

"CL! You are here. You are here too. Good. Good. Come inside", An elderly woman opened the door and saw both mother and daughter trembling due to cold and also their wet clothes. She quickly took them to her house and gave clothes and food to them.

Both mother and daughter changed their clothes and ate their food. An elderly woman was sitting beside them and eyeing them with her old scrunching eyes.

Feeling the gaze on herself and her daughter. That woman named CL couldn't stop herself from clearing the matter with that elderly woman.

"Tomorrow is Langer. So I'm here to help you again. Just like the past", CL said and that elderly woman smiled softly and then spoke, "You did good. We needed you"

CL nodded her head.

The elderly woman handed her a big glass of warm milk to the little girl who was snuggling into the warm embrace of her mother.

CL smiled softly as her arms were tightly wrapped around her six-year-old daughter. CL helped her daughter drink milk and soon her little girl fell asleep on her lap.

"Take rest. Tomorrow will be a lot of work", That elderly woman left her alone in the small room with the sleepy Little girl.

CL covered her daughter properly and thanked heaven for the help she always gets in her needs.

She sighed weakly and stared outside of the window sill. The moon was hidden into the dark sky.

Thunderous lights were still flashing in the darkness.

She closed her eyes and then stared at her daughter. An angry tear, a helpless tear, a melancholy fell on her cheeks.

From the CIEL of a foreign country to becoming a single mother 'CL' in the Indian community in Canada, she covered a long distance alone but this time she had her Little daughter, Jagat Mohini.

She came to Canada and tried to communicate with the Indian community only because her love was from India.

Ciel's ancestors were basically from Turkey but her parents were born and studied in NY. Ciel was born and raised in NY and lost all contact with her relatives after the death of her parents.

She met an Indian boy named Jagat Vishwam in her high school and fell in love with him who at last left her just like her parents did, all alone in this world.

But Jagat completely broke when she was carrying his baby inside of her only to protect her from the unknown, unexpected threats.

The night passed and the next morning fell on the pair of mother and daughter who were ready to help in the kitchen for Langer.

After wrapping up her work, She crossed the door of Peace and entered the chamber.

Ciel listened to the religious hymns in the praise of Waheguru that gave peace to her.

She joined her hands and spoke in a broken voice, "Oh God! Just Protect my daughter. I don't want anything for me. Please"

She pleaded to the wondrous enlightener for her little girl.

She wiped her eyes as time flew quickly and evening came around. Both were tired and wanted their bed to sleep.

Ciel packed her bag and got ready to leave for her home. The elderly woman saw them coming out of their room with their bags.

She smiled, gently handed a small packet to Ciel and said, "CL! This is your emolument"

Ciel took that packet and put it inside her handbag. She said goodbye and thanked that lady for her support.

Ciel left with her daughter. The elderly woman saw them leaving the front yard of her house.

But, Suddenly, an unwanted and unexpected, dark yet familiar figure fell on that elderly woman who froze on her spot.

"Don't let the ugly in others kill the beauty in you", His deep voice sent chills to her as she felt ashamed.

That man knew that this elder lady was a genuine person and had been acting as a mediator between him and Ciel for the past seven years right after her coming to Canada.

But this time, He caught her hiding half of the money from Ciel and handed only half to her.

Greed was a plaque. A very dangerous disease. Greedy people lacked empathy and he immediately knew that time had come and it was now the time to make another move in Ciel's life.

His words made that elderly woman understand her fault that she made a mistake by stealing the rightful money from Ciel.

This man was giving money to her just to be handed over to Ciel. No one could get money by working in the Sikh temple because it was called a Service or service, not work but Ciel lacked this important information about the Sikh temple. She always came and did a service in the kitchen and got money from this lady who came from this man who was silently supporting her from the darkness.

"Sir! I. I just. I forgot about this", She said apologetically and then ran to follow the duo of mother and daughter.

"CL! Take this. This is yours. Your hard-earned money. I forgot to give you this", an Elderly woman spoke with her red face.

CL, without asking a question, took the money safely clutched her daughter's hand, and said, "Thank you once again. I'll come next time".

Ciel's voice sounded grateful and then she hailed a cab and sat inside with her daughter.

Life was not easy. At every step, she was facing so many difficulties but she never stopped earning money for herself and her daughter. She wanted to give happiness and protection to her daughter.

Coming back to her house, Ciel found a white color envelope lying on the doormats.

She frowned deeply and took it in her hand. Little Mohini ran to the bedroom and slept like a log.

Ciel looked at the envelope and fear formed in her heart. No one of her relatives was in contact with her so she couldn't get an envelope.

All the bills were already paid.

Her mind was running negatively. She opened it and took out a few pieces of paper.

She felt puzzled and immediately she arranged all the small pieces of paper which contained letters on them.

Ciel completed the task but this paper and the letter pasted on it sucked her soul out of her body.

She fell on the floor and gasped for breath as she sobbed softly.

"It's not possible. It can't be possible".

This was the last thought of her before seeing her daughter hurriedly coming towards her while rubbing her eyes.

"Mummy! What's wrong?"

Mohini asked her mother who was crying and only crying as her hand was crushing the paper furiously.

Chapter 3 AARYA : A Silent Carnage

The weather was quite nice as summer breezes were blowing calmly.

The night was silent, stars were dancing around the over-glowing moon, enjoying the time of a full moon.

But Somewhere outside of Delhi, a young man had a dark look on his face. His face was filled with murderous aura and his eyes were red like raging volcanoes.

His hands were full of blood and his midnight-like eyes were glaring at the other person who was whimpering in pain as blood was gushing out of his body.

"Do you think of yourself as a good man huh? If I'm not good then you are not a good man too. Don't forget You are a villain. Just Bad like me and you'll die soon"

That man bled and cried in pain as he burst his heart words at the man who had eyes like LUCIFER and an aura like a BEAST.

AARYA ARJUN KASHYAP chuckled darkly as his deep masculine voice was shaking in madness.

"Of course! Good people don't live long but Villains will live for thousands of years. So for living thousands of years of life, I'm willing to be a Villain"

Aarya spoke in a cold voice that sent chills to that man's spine.

A LUCIFER AND A BEAST.

BOTH IN COMBO PACK.

WHAT A DEATH SEEKING COMBINATION.

"Don't kill me please. Forgive me. I'll never do something like this again".

That man pleaded to Aarya and tried to grab his legs but Aarya felt disgusted by his words and quickly moved away from his radius and spoke threateningly to him, "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Do you think you are in a condition to bargain about your life with me or do you have immense confidence in yourself after knowing about your deeds? I, Lucifer will spare you another chance to ruin an innocent life again?"

"I'm sorry", That man started to feel weak as his control over his body loosened.

"Lucifer don't want your sorry", Aarya saw that man was pleading for life but he was a merciless, ruthless creature of God. Then how would he leave dirt like these kinds of men on earth who couldn't even protect their mother, daughter, wife, and sisters?

"Go to Hell", Aarya said and shot a silent single bullet in his forehead. That man died while his eyes were wide open, staring at Aarya.

Aarya killed him because he sold her daughter to the brothel. He was a greedy man who loved gambling but always lost his money in it.

But this time, This bastard sold her twelve-year-old daughter to a brothel just to pay his gambling loan and this piece of news did fit well with Aarya who worked as a LUCIFER to maintain peace, justice, and equity of treatment.

Aarya took out his white handkerchief from his pocket and cleaned his hands.

And then he made a call and spoke, "Where is the Child?"

"Boss? In Delhi. The child is safe" " the other side of the person said to Aarya.

"I don't want any mistake this time. I want to know everything about this child", Aarya's voice was already too deep but talking on this matter made his voice extra sharp, conscious, and deep enough for the other side person to shiver in fear.

"Yes Boss! I'll send you the file", Aarya's second in command, NIMIT spoke hurriedly.

"Ehm", AARYA's hum had even come out like a beast was growling and then he disconnected the call

Aarya took a last glance at the dead body and then walked away like nothing happened or he had done nothing like killing someone just a few minutes ago because killing had become his habit now. Seeing blood, and watching the souls leaving the bodies didn't torment him at all.

Aarya sat inside his car and drove fast towards his house.

Aarya Arjun Kashyap was staying alone in his big penthouse. He worked as an antivirus for the society and had a code-named 'LUCIFER'

LUCIFER' was back.

He had already ended the war and games of Vengeance.

But now, Aarya was wandering like a lonely cloud, working silently, absorbing the darkness of the world through his soul.

Aarya was continuing what his father left for his family.

It worked like a LEGACY.

To his family, He was AARYA.

To the close, He was the third son of ARJUN KASHYAP.

To the corporate world, He was a BILLIONAIRE who had numerous hotel chains in his palm and who also worked as a SOCIAL ACTIVIST.

To the others, He was The BEAST

To the Evils, He was A LUCIFER.

To ShineeSunshine, He was a SILENT CARNAGE.

Aarya was 26 years old and still wandering alone like a lost soul but on the other side of the world, Someone was not aware of anything. Who was preparing to bump into him like a bullet train hit the railway tracks?

On the other hand, A young girl of age 20 was quickly drying her long hair but it was taking so much time of hers.

Angrily, she threw the dryer on the bed and made a bun of her messy wet hair.

"I'll surely cut you. Because of you, I'm getting late on the first day of my work. Hopped"

She glared at her hair which was sitting patiently on her head, not even daring to push even a single string out of the bun.

She huffed and stormed out of her room only to bump into her mother.

"Jagat Mohini, How many times do I have to tell you to stop running in the house?" Ciel's voice was loud and didn't even make Mohini stop at her spot.

"I forgot the counts Mummy", Mohini said while carrying her bag and ran out of the house.

"At least! Eat your breakfast", Ciel ran behind her as her hand had a plate of breakfast.

Mohini wore matching sandals to her suit and said to her mother, "I'm getting late on my first day of job"

Ciel huffed and moved her hand near Mohini's mouth, "Take a bite of this sandwich"

"Mummy! My boss is a Dracula. If I get a second late then he will drink blood from my neck", Mohini said as she sat down on her scooter and ignited the engine.

"Take care of yourself, Mummy. I'll be late", Mohini pressed her lips on her mother's cheeks and spoke softly.

Ciel just stood there and looked at the disappearing figure of her daughter.

Their lives changed completely after leaving Canada.

"I wish! Everything will be fine this time", Ciel murmured as her heart was sinking rapidly.

This was the same feeling that she felt when Jagat left her and when she got an envelope that night, coming back from the temple back in Canada.
