BEAUTY AND THE TWINS

CHAPTER ONE

I was born in a family of two, an identical twin to be precise my brother Eric is very naughty but smart he is a younger brother to me even though we were born the same day.

He behaves like an infant which made my parent describe him as "BABY ERIC". He is entirely different from me, I am the opposite of Eric.

My father Mr.Pedro is a Fashion Designer and my mother is a trader although we were not financially buoyant, no matter what the case may be my father must surely provide for the family he is hardworking and caring I regarded him to such responsibility as a man because the love we have in our family is enough to make one happy.

Eric could be seen playing video games anytime he is less busy at home mostly during the weekend this was his favorite day.

Most times he forgets his food while he pays more attention to his game."Baby Eric, you better leave that game and join us at the dining table" My mother calls for him while I decided to switch off his game.

"Ohh!!! Mom, you can see Nelly has started again he is always troublesome why would he switch off my game?". Eric said as he grumbles in front of me.

"If you are not ready to eat let me know so I can fill my stomach with double delicacy perhaps am not satisfied more of your food will be my appetite for today". I said as I went back to take his food from the dining. table.

Suddenly I saw Eric from an unknown destination, he quickly left his game to embrace his food he said: " This is my beloved food in whom I am well pleased". We all busted into laughter as we celebrate his victory at last.

NEXT DAY

"It is Monday morning, "wake up let's get ourselves prepared for school". I tapped him from his sleep he snores whirling to the other side.

"What is wrong with you I guess you need to be drenched".

Immediately Eric heard the word " Drenched" he stood up ran to the bathroom to take his shower.

"I thought you are sleeping?" I giggled while asking.

"It is better to take my shower at the right place than to be drenched being asleep, indeed Nelly you are a mess!". He said latching the bathroom door.

" I can't wait to turn this young man's ass into a chocolate pizza make sure you never open that door because am going to treat you like a mess".

We both laughed at our naughty words. After taking our bath, we swabbed our teeth in other to get ourselves prepared for breakfast.

Meanwhile, at the dining table, we were both served two slices of bread and a tea you know Eric for sure he must always have something to say.

"Mom!! This won't fill up my stomach you know my stomach is like a bottomless pit it has no internal storage".

" Oh!!!, when will you stop complaining?" Mum asked as she profusely smiles.

"I will stop complaining when I finally turned stones to bread". He replied while eating his two slices of bread.

We busted into laughter then we gave him another name " Eric Jesus".

After our breakfast, we took our bags Immediately the school bus alerted us with its horn.

"Goodbye mum," we said waving at her as we quickly entered the bus.

AT SCHOOL

It was a free period in school, Eric and Nelly were busy having their leisure time as they sat under the tree to feel the warmth of the atmosphere.

"I love this atmosphere I just felt like sleeping without going to class today. Mostly I need to hunt". Eric said blinking his eyes while he gaze at Nelly.

" To hunt!!, when do you become a hunter? this place is never a forest, so animals don't live here".

Eric laughed out loud, as he tried revising Nelly about science.

"Have you forgotten humans are animals higher animals indeed, we hunt for food and people hunt us for a meal, But for me, I hunt for ladies" He said as he went to approach a fellow student who just walked past them?

Looking at his brother with a smile as he waits to see his manifestation.

"Hello, Miss"... Eric called at a distance while the girl stood by waiting for his approach.

"Yes, how may I help you?". She asked accessing his wears.

"Well, a pretty girl like you won't pester with such rhetorical question, oh!! I forgot. I am Eric by name nice meeting you". He said while sloping his hands for a shake.

" Well, I don't shake strangers, I'm Gabriella by name. please if you don't mind I'm retaining a class you can wait for me here maybe I can return your handshake when coming back". She said as she presides over her destination.

Eric could feel the big heat of her words, he stood like a caricature without uttering any words. Nelly points towards him laughing profusely.

"A hunter has been hunted," Nelly said.

Eric went back to Nelly, looking tense he sat on the floor while he keeps reflecting on Gabriella spoken words

"This animal has hunted me so badly, Imagine her telling me to wait for a return handshake well I love her type I must still press on"

"Don't tell me you want to give it another try a hunter still wants to be hunted again forget about her she is not for you". Nelly replied as he laughed out loud.

The conversations exceeded for a series of minutes as they both debated on Gabriella's temperament, Eric promised to have Gabriella to her side no matter what the case may be.

"Gabriella is just feeling too big, her type is as easy as ABC, and when I finally get her she will be the one trembling at my feet". He smiles when he emitted such words.

They took their books and bags while they steer to their class.

CHAPTER TWO

Today is Saturday I woke up early to do my house chores but my lazy brother Eric is still asleep snoring like a Buffalo.

"Wake up you lazy boy you need to assist me in doing my chores". I said calling him out.

"Oh!!! You always interrupt my sleep don't bother bringing any chores to me you know am not good at that, and perhaps I need to play my video game anytime am awake"... He said covering himself with a blanket.

I had no choice but to report him to my mom although I don't want anything that will lead to either quarrel or fight".

After explaining his nonchalant manner to my Mom she became upset, as she went to the kitchen took some cups of water to drench him.

Eric thought it was me he stood up intending to fight but when he saw it was mom he paused for a minute looking astonished.

"Mom this is unfair I can't be sleeping, looking drenched at the same time".

My mom is a gentle type she never likes watching us in a bad mood or being sad, she rather apologizes rather than thrashes us.

After mom talked some sense into Eric's head he decided to succumb to her words it was unbelievable, the first time I saw him doing his House chores without complaining.

Suddenly my dad came in he was well pleased when he saw the house looking tidy " Indeed you guys are amazing". He said giving us an applaud.

Dad brought some wonderful gifts for us guess what it is?

An expensive wristwatch

"This is Chopad_201 carats, waw! This is beautiful but expensive I guess Dad has gotten a million-dollar contract". I said holding the wristwatch while I anticipates his reaction.

"Well, It's a gift from a customer, he loved the way I designed his wears so he intended to surprise me with a wristwatch".

"I think dad should open a grocery so we can store his gift in other to yield profit hope am making a point". Eric said while he smirks.

My Dad was astounded when he heard such words from Eric. Mom who understands the traits of Eric kept mute then she put up with Dad to his compartment.

We both stare at the lovely couple as they walk to their room holding both hands together.

" Indeed love is beautiful and I pray to do this soon with my lovely Gabriella," Eric said patting his chest while he gleamed.

"I couldn't hold my laughter as I burst out loud remembering the scenario between Eric and Gabriella".

NEXT DAY

It was time for us to go to Church, our service starts at 9 am I looked at the clock it was 8:30, I called out for my naughty brother.

" Eric!! Eric!! Eric!!, we have just 30 minutes left hurry up, remember time wait for no one I don't want to be late.

We attend Liberty Church Downtown Manhattan in New York City.

Finally, my parent came out together with Eric they were gorgeously dressed, "Oh no!!, I have spent 10 minutes waiting, we need to be there before 9 am we have 20 minutes left". I said while looking at my wristwatch.

"Nelly the timekeeper don't worry you will soon become a pastor because I dont understand why you keep to time mostly on Sundays" Eric said as he stopped a red taxi.

We all enter the cab then we drove to church.

AT CHURCH

The service was awesome we met the praise and worship which I enjoyed most I felt the atmosphere of worship. Meanwhile, it was time for the sermon, Pastor Fred was ushered into the pulpit as he gave the congregation an exaltation.

The sermon was mind-blowing, he preached on the topic "THE POWER OF LOVE". I need this but Eric needs this more.

I couldn't hide my laughter when I saw Eric jotting down something, I whispered to his ears as I asked.

" What are you writing?".

"I am writing the secrete code to love I have gotten the tools I will use on my beloved Gabriella". He said as he continue to write.

" This your imaginary love for Gabriella is getting out of hand I think you need a love therapist". I said looking at his writing.

After the service, my brother and I waited for my parent at the church entrance, we later found out they were discussing with friends so we waste no time going home since we know the way.

"Oh!!, that is Gabriella". Eric said pointing in her direction.

I thought it was an illusion until I looked again.

"Yes!!, that is Gabriella she is beautifully dressed finally the angel of your life is here". I said putting my hands on Eric's shoulder.

Then I discovered Eric has filled with Joy because the smile on his face was different.

"Don't tell me you want to meet her I can't wait to laugh". I tried distracting his attention to Gabriella.

" She is my beloved girlfriend in whom I am well pleased". Eric said as he presides to meet her.

"Hello, Gabriella we finally met again". Eric said with a smile.

She smiled looking at him

" Don't tell me you are a member of this church?".

"Well as you can see that's why I am here, I just want to say hi to you since I saw you from a distance but I dont want to waste your time here since you are retaining a class". Eric said as he walked past her.

" Oh!! Wait a minute". She calls out.

Eric paused as he turns back to Gabriella.

"Yes am waiting". He said

" You are funny and naughty you reminded me of the last time we met I don't think you need this". She said smiling at him.

"Not so dear, I will be foolish if I want to pay evil to evil".

" And who is the evildoer here?". She asked looking confused.

"We are both evils". He said as they both burst into laughter.

Exchange of contact was made by those two love birds.

I was just smiling when I saw these two love birds finally get to each other indeed this is "the power of love". I said while I solitude on that phrase.

CHAPTER THREE

ERIC POV

Indeed women are of different species, they love you and still want to hurt you. Gabriella has filled the vacuum in my heart.

I can't wait to fill her warmth with my hands, I wanna grab her ass, kiss her fluffy lips and make her scream my name on the bed.

I missed her a lot am driving crazy in love and I need to hear her voice. The way she smiles with her pretty eyes makes me love her the more.

I think I should put a call through.

GABRIELLA POV

I never knew I will easily be attracted to him although he is awesome, fair in complexion, outspoken, and a bit tall which I admire in guys.

His confidence makes me love him more even when I turn him down at first, he still made another attempt.

That shows he is interested in me. I can't wait for him to ask me out I want to be loved by Eric.

She smiles while rolling with her teddy bear on the bed.

PHONE RINGING.

"Who could that be?". She said as she reached for her phone.

She was delighted when she discovered it was Eric, she smiles while replying to the call with a calm voice.

" Hello Gabriella, how are you?".

"I'm fine Eric, and you?".

"Same here I call to hear your voice and possibly to know about your schedule if you may be chance for us to meet".

"Well I can't say for now but I will let you know when I'm less busy".

" Well that will be nice I will be expecting your call, have a nice day Gabriella."

He hangs the call and went straight to the bathroom to take his shower.

I saw Eric feeling so excited, the first time seeing him singing a love song while having his bath.

"Eric! Eric!!, has Gabriella finally accepted your proposal?". I asked from a distance but the more I asked the more he increase the tune of his voice.

He came out from the bathroom shrieking the song, I was just amazed looking at him while he pass in front of me to his room, Indeed love is beautiful.

Suddenly I saw Eric playing another music on his phone he increases the volume of the song while he danced and sing along to its lyrics " This is perfect by Ed Sheeran maybe he has gotten a perfect woman". I said as I chuckled.

A call came in he picked up the call and responded " I am on my way" then I noticed it was Gabriella who just called, he hangs the call dressed gorgeously wearing a nice smell on him.

"I love the smell of your perfume what's the name?". I asked while waiting for an answer.

" The name is Gabriella, don't worry I will be back soon". he said with a smile while he presides to his destination.

They met at the entrance, but they went beside a tree outside the house to have their conversation. I was at the window glancing at them from a distance.

They hug themselves and exchange pleasantries.

"Waw!!, you always look beautiful I can't reap my eyes off you". Eric said while holding hands with Gabriella.

" Stop flattering me, I know I'm beautiful but I will accept that as a compliment since you say so". She chuckled.

"Guess what I have a gift for you?". He asked.

" And what could that be?".

"Close your eyes is a surprised gift, you are not permitted to open your pretty eyes". Eric said as he walked round Gabriella.

Gabriella was so curious waiting to be surprised, she closed her eyes fast and left a pretty smile on her face.

Eric shuffle round her and plop his two hands on her cheeks, gave her a calm kiss then whispered to her ears saying " I LOVE YOU".

Gabriella became tense she quickly open her eyes gave him a slap.

"Is this a surprised gift?". She asked with annoyance as she left.

Eric received the slap with a smile holding his cheeks while he tried stopping her.

"Leave me alone and let me go". She scream trying to pull out her hands from Eric.

He hold her tight on her waist making an effort to calm her down.

" That's just a surprised kiss I got another surprised for you".

"And what could that be, a surprised kiss that will lead to a surprise sex right?, Please Eric for crying out loud leave me alone and let me go you are just strangling me as if you want to rape me". She said trying to pull herself out.

Eric finally left her, they both stir at each other for a minute suddenly Eric presented a beautiful Jewellery and a wristwatch to her. "Permit me to put it on you". He said.

Gabriella backed him as she awaits the Jewelry on her neck, Eric placed the jewellery on her it was beautiful.

" Waw!!! I loved it indeed it's beautiful". She said tickling the Jewelry on her neck.

"I believe my surprised gift have earned you a surprise".

He said as they both burst into laughter. He was gazing at her holding her hands as he sing her a love song. (Perfect by Ed shareen)

Hmmm..I was glaring at the window deliberating on how to find my missing ribs indeed love is beautiful.
