When it comes to my ideal type of woman, I can say that I love blondes. I love blonde woman with blue eyes especially when they have a good sense of fashion.

That's sexy.

I just celebrated my 27th birthday last night and it was a blast. I threw a really big birthday party at Jose's club and I got so drunk last night that I didn't even remember that I slept with a beautiful model.

I checked the time and I still have an hour to get ready and go straight to Malorey's fundraising event. Malorey is Jose's wife and she decided to make an event with UNICEF to raise money for homeless children.

I washed myself in cold water, dried my hair and quickly changed into my shirt and black pants. I put on my shoes and called my driver to pick me up at the lobby. I went down and got into the car.

"Please stop at the nearest Starbucks, I need coffee." I said because I need something to wake me up. My driver pulled up and I got out from my car. I walked into the Starbucks and there's a line. I stood there and looked at my watch, I still have time.

Suddenly there's a really loud siren outside and that made me turn around to see what's going on. My eyes landed on a gorgeous brunette woman who just entered the room.

She was wearing a white dress and holding a bouquet of orange tulips on her hand.

She's a definition of perfection.

She scanned the menu and our eyes met. I smiled at her and she ignored me. I let the person behind me go first so I could get a little bit closer to this beautiful woman.

"I'm Kai." I said as I put my hand in front of her.

"I'm Laura." She took my hand and when she introduced herself. She has a little bit of accent to jt and I'm assumed she's not American.

"You're from around here?" I pretended to ask.

"From Italy." She said as we both moved foward.

"Are you a model?" I asked curiously and she raised her eyebrows.

"I'm not a model, I'm actually come here for work. I assume you're from around here." She said and I chuckled.

"Yes, I live here." I said and she gestured me to move foward.

"Are you free tonight? I was wondering if you want to grab dinner together? We can exchange contacts." I said because I don't want to miss a chance having dinner with a beautiful woman from Italy.

"Sure, why not?" She said and I took out my phone. I gave her my phone and she gave me hers. She gave my phone back and I was about to save her name.

"It's Laura De Angelo, in case you will get confuse whcih Laura that you're calling." She said and I was surprised to hear it. I looked up to her and she smirked.

"Sir, what can I get for you?" I turned around because it's already my turn to order. I quickly ordered an iced americano.

"Can I buy you a coffee?" I turned to Laura and she nodded. She ordered a matcha latte and we both were waiting for our drinks.

"So how long will you stay in New York?" I turned to her.

"Until next week."

"Do you have friends around here?"

"Only co-workers." She answered as she grabbed her latte. I grabbed my coffee and we walked out from the Starbucks.

"I have a driver, I can drop you if you want." I offered and she turned to me.

"Good bye, Kai. Thanks for the latte." She smiled and then walked away.

Deandra Serano

"Another playboy on the lose." I said as I looked at my free matche latte. I walked into an apartment building and went up to the 15th floor, I pressed the door bell.

"Is it you, Deandra?" Naomi asked.

"Yeah." I answered and she opened the door. She gestured me to get inside and I sat on her sofa right away.

"Is it another free drink?" Naomi asked in a sarcastic tone and I chuckled.

"Yeah, today.. the name is Kai. He's cute though." I said as I took a sip of it.

"Is it Vanessa again?" She asked as she grabbed a tub of ice cream.

"Today is Laura." I said.

"You and your beautiful face." Naomi and I were high school friends. She moved to New York to work in the fashion industry. She's talented and I'm here for her wedding in two days.

"The guy that I met.. I think he's rich. He got a driver and even offered me that he will drop me if I want." I said as I put my drink on the table.

"Don't tell me he's Kai Moretti." Naomi grabbed her phone and showed me.

"Yeah." I said and Naomi chuckled.

"He will come to the wedding, he's actually Jeremy's friend from college." Naomi said and I nodded.

"You're going to be my maid of honor and once he found out you lied.. that would be epic."

"He's a playboy after all, he even asked me to grab dinner together tonight." I said as I grabbed the spoon from her scooping her vanilla ice cream.

"Are you going?"

"Hell no, why would I go with someone like that?" I chuckled.

"Good, because it would be so much fun if you both see each other on the wedding." Naomi chuckled.

"That would be epic, I hate playboys. Imagine dating them and have them texting and fucking other woman." I hissed.

"From what I heard, Kai is a charmer. He's really good with words and he knows how to treat a lady."

"That's not enough for me."

"Of course, you're Deandra Serano. Things like that won't charm you at all and besides he's a playboy. You both have to go on a long distance relationship if you end up together and it means cheating would be his number one best friend."

I tried to call Laura but the number was not available. I don't need to try to call her again because she gave me a wrong number.

What a shame. She missed an opportunity to have dinner with a billionaire.

I went home and decided to have a movie night because I still didn't get time to rest from my birthday party.

My phone rang and it's Jeremy.

"Hello."

"What are you up to?" He asked.

"Just chilling, why?"

"Want to grab a drink together?"

"How about you come to my house? My dad gave me a good wine a week ago."

"I'll be there in 10 minutes." He ended the call and I got up grabbing my wine and two wine glasses. I walked back to my living room and put it all on the table.

I turned on a random movie while waiting for Jeremy to arrive. That man is going to get married in 2 days with an Italian woman. I'm happy for him but he's only 26 so it's such a waste to get married such a young age.

I opened the door for Jeremy and he walked in. He brought pizza and I chuckled.

"Why the sudden wanting to drink?" I asked as he put the pizza on the table. I opened the wine bottle.

"Naomi is spending time with her bestfriend so I just think why don't I spend time with you?"

"It's not too late to back out." I said and Jeremy laughed. I poured the wine as he grabbed a piece of pizza. We both cheered and took a sip.

"I'm not backing out, I love her." Jeremy said as he put his wine glass on the table.

"You only dated for a year."

"When you know.. you know, Kai."

"I guess we both won't be able to jumping from bars to bars anymore." I leaned my body to my sofa.

"That's why you should date and get married."

"No thanks, it won't be fun anymore."

"You just haven't meet the right person yet." He said and I shook my head.

"Let's imagine this.. I will date a woman and then marry her. I will get not free pass to all the beautiful things in this world such as alcohol and women. Not to mention if she gets pregnant and then she will spend all my money and then she will divorce me after that.. I have to pay child support and all the bad things in life will come after marriage."

"You're dramatic." He rolled his eyes.

"You don't get it, do you?"

"No, I don't. I will never will. Your lifestyle is a mess, Kai."

"Work hard, play hard." I said and took another sip of the wine.

"Can I ask for one favour?"

"What?"

"Don't even try to hit on woman at my wedding, don't embarass me."

After I finished my make up and putting on my dress, they escorted me to Naomi's room. I knocked on the door to check on her and she's doing great. She's still getting ready and I decided to go find Naomi's parents to make sure that they're doing okay.

"Laura?" I turned to see Kai and since Naomi already alerted me about him being here, I'm not surprised to see him at all.

"Are you Naomi's bridesmaid?" He asked as he walked towards me.

"Yes."

"You gave me a wrong number two days ago." He pointed me and I nodded.

"I forgot to put the last digit of number, sorry." I said and he raised his eyebrows.

"I'll talk to you later, I'm in a middle of something." I said and left him there. I walked straight to Naomi's parents room and knocked on the door.

"Deandra!" Paige gave me a hug and she looked at me from head to toe.

"You look beautiful."

"Thank you, Paige. Is everything going smoothly? Do you need anything?" I asked.

"Everything is going perfect." She said.

"Call me if you need anything." I said and she nodded. I walked back towards Naomi's room but I was stopped midway by Kai.

"What?" I looked up to him.

"Can I get your real number this time?" He asked as he put his phone in front of me.

"You don't find another Laura?" I asked and he looked at me begging.

"Add 4." I said as I was about to walk past him, he stopped me. My phone rang and he smiled when he saw his number on my screen.

"You really took out the last digit."

"I'll see you at the wedding ceremony."

As much as I tried to focus on the couple, Laura indeed stole the spotlight for me. She looked so beautiful and breathtaking.

Something about her that made me just can't take my eyes off of her.

She was constantly smiling and even cried for Naomi. She's so happy for her and once the priest announced that they're husband and wife, Laura clapped so hard.

After the newlywed couple walked down the aisle, I walked towards her. I gave her my handkerchief and she smiled accepting my friendly gesture.

"Thanks."

"So.. how long have you been friends with Naomi?"

"Not that long but she's like a sister to me." She said as she wiped her tears. I was so captivated by her that every gesture that she made making me a little fluttered.

"Should we go to the ballroom together?" I asked and she nodded. She held her skirt and we walked side by side.

"Let me hold you so you won't fall." I said as I put my hand in front of her. I took one step down the stairs and she took my hand. We walked down slowly and as soon as the stairs end, she took her hand away.

"Have lunch with me tomorrow." I said before she walked past me. She turned to me and smiled.

"I'm busy, I have work tomorrow."

"It's Sunday." I said and she nodded.

"Yeah, I'm aware it's Sunday tomorrow."

I was not the only one.

A lot of men approaching her and I can't even count how many men asking for her phone number. I wished she gave them without her last digit like she did to me 2 days ago.

"If looks could kill, she would have been death by now." I turned to Jose and Malorey chuckled.

"She's beautiful." I said truthfully and Jose gave me a nod. He knew that I can't resist beautiful women. I turned back to Laura who just grabbed a mic to give her maid of honor speech.

"Hello everyone." She said and everyone has their eyes on her. She turned to the couple and then she turned back to the audience.

"I'm Naomi's bestfriend since highschool and my name is Deandra." My eyes widen when she introduced herself.

"Naomi and I were in the same biology class when we first met. We both were inseperatable ever since. She's such an amazing person and someone that inspired me to do great things and chase my dreams." Laura or Deandra said as she turned to Naomi.

"Naomi is such a positive and bright person that somehow her personality leech to me. She's someone who will not hesitate to fly anywhere in this world to support you and I want to let her know that I want to be that person too for her." Naomi mouthed her thankyou.

"Today as I witness Naomi and Jeremy's wedding, I know for sure that Naomi is in good hands. I still remember when Naomi first told me about Jeremy about a year ago." She said as she took out a small note.

"This is what she texted me." She chuckled as she opened her small note.

"Deandra! OMG! I met this cute fluffy hot sexy zaddy kinda guy!" She said it in Naomi's tone and everyone laughed.

"I was shocked when she send this because she never describe someone like that before but then.. her next text messaged shocked me more."

"Deandra! He has the cutest freaking small mole under his eyes. I'm going to marry this man next week!" And again she said it in Naomi's tone. Everyone laughed so hard and Jeremy even turned to his wife disbelief.

"I'm glad and so happy that you're marrying your mole guy today. As your bestfriend, I can't wait to see your journey together in the future. For Jeremy, please take a good care of my best friend. Cheers!" With that people clapped their hands.

I turned to Jose and sighed. "Do you know her name?" I asked and Jose chuckled.

"Are you deaf? She mentioned her name earlier, it's Deandra." Jose said and I shook my head.

"She told me her name was Laura De Angelo." I said and Malorey chuckled.

"That's a sign she's not interested in you." She said in a mocking tone.

"If she went to the same highschool as Naomi, it means she came from a rich family then." I said as I took out my phone from my pocket.

"She's an elite, Kai." I looked up to Malorey.

"Elite?"

"Her name is Deandra Serano, look her up." She said and I opened my phone to look her up. I typed her name and as soon as her name popped up, there's thousands of articles about her.

I opened a link to her profile and read it. There's a lot of photos of her modelling as I read her profile. I was shocked to see what I read and I turned to her to check if she's the same person.

"She's royal and an elite." I turned to Jose who's already smirking widely.

She's basically someone that is adored by a lot of men. Not only the men in this room but also a lot of men in Europe. This made me want to know more about her.

No wonder, she has this captivating aura.

After the wedding ended, I already glued my eyes on Deandra. She was talking to a couple of friends before she took her phone and a small bouquet of flower from the table.

I walked towards her and she saw me. She bid her goodbyes with her friends and she walked towards me.

"Deandra." I called her real name.

"Yes?"

"You lied to me about your name and you didn't even give me the last digit of your phone number. Are you always this mean?" I asked and she chuckled.

"I think you're the one who didn't get the memo."

"What?"

"I'm not interested in you." She said and then she walked past me. She grabbed a bottle of champagne and walked out from the ballroom.

"Give me a chance.." I said as I walked beside her.

"Find someone else, I heard about your reputation." She said and I stood in front of her.

"You can't judge me based on what you heard from people, that's not fair." I said hoping she would give me a chance.

"I'm busy." She smiled and took a step to the right. I stood in front of her again and she looked at me disbelief.

"If you're busy tomorrow, how about tonight? Have a drink with me! I have my own bar at my penthouse." I said and she tilted her head.

"I'm good at making cocktail." I added.

"Wait for me at the lobby, let me change.." She said and I can't hide my excitement. I smiled widely and she walked past me.

I called my driver to get ready to pick me up at the lobby. I waited for her at the lobby and I'm so excited for this. I want to know what kind of woman she is.

I kept looking at the lift looking for her.

After 15 minutes, she came out from the lift with a ivory silk dress and still in her highheels. I was starstruck seeing how beautiful she is. Even all the men who walked past her turn to check her out.

I got up and walked towards her.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yeah."
