Azurethia woke up in a soft bed, not the same as her previous bedroom. She quickly stood up and looked around the large room, which opulently furnished.

Nervousness had engulfed her when she heard footsteps bounding to a room near where she was that hurriedly. She tried to hide, but it's too late because they were rushing in to enter. To her surprise, the girl and her mother walked right past her as if they hadn't noticed her.

The three of them screamed when they heard a gunshot in a distance. Her attention shifted to a little girl who scared and crying.

"Mommy, I'm scared. Who are they? Are they bad? Where's Daddy?" successive questions of the girl, but her mother remained silent.

Azure gazes at the girl who's crying. The girl who has the gentle and innocent face that you have seen that she's too innocent to know what is happening around her. Azure head ached for no reason, but she ignored it.

The mother of the child panic when they heard many footsteps. They're looking for something. When she hears footsteps approaching, her heart rate quickens.

The mother of the girl quickly hid her daughter in a large closet, but Azure's stay where she's standing because of confusion about what going to happen next.

"Baby, listen to mommy. Okay?" the girl innocent nodded to her mother with no clue on why her mother's crying.

"Whatever going to happen, Don't come out and don't make any noise because the bad guys might hear you. Do we understand each other baby girl?" her mother said and the little girl replied:

"Y-yes mommy."

"Good girl. I love you and always remember that mommy and daddy will always love you no matter what, O- okay?" the woman's voice broke, but she plastered a smile so that her daughter wouldn't cry.

Azure's breathing gradually became heavier while watching them. She couldn't name the emotion that she feels right now. She was unconscious, touched her cheek, and to her surprise, there were tears in her eyes.

When someone bumped to the door, a soft pat on the cheek jolted her awake, but this time, it was her true bedroom.

It surprised her best friend Shanny when she quickly gets up; she wanders her eyes in her bed; she breathed a sigh of relief when she realized it was all a dream.

"Sorry if I scared you," her best friend said calmly, but it appears she heard nothing because someone preoccupied her mind with the scene of her dream.

She dreamed of that scenario again; the face was clear and detailed in her dream, but when she woke up, it became blurb, and she doesn't remember what exactly happened in her dreams, she know that it's part of her past which strained reminds her, she tried to remember what happened, but she just ends up with nothing.

"Rhine?" her best friend taps her on the shoulder, giving her a reason to regain her sanity.

"Huh? Sorry. Would you mind repeating your question, Shan?" she stated.

"I asked if I scared you when I tried to wake you up?" her best friend inquired once more.

"Oh, no, what time it is?" she muttered.

"It's 6:20, still early; I don't want to wake you up because I know you're tired, but Zeinn said we should eat breakfast together before going to work," her pal's illumination.

"Thank you, Shan. But, go first, I'll follow you later once I'm done fixing my bed," she replied.

"Okay, we will wait for you at the dining table," her best friend smiled before she left.

She raises her head slightly and briefly nodded. The three of them live in the same house together, after. She's be bereaved, her best friends stay by her side and she's thankful for that.

Shanny, the calm one among them. Zeinn, obstreperous and happy-go-lucky. While she's just a normal girl, she's approachable, and always appreciates the small things. Every day, after waking up she feels like something–missing from her personality. But, even herself wondering why, whereas she has nothing to do with it. Thus, she takes strength from her best friend.

"Rhine, why did you take so long? We're almost done preparing our breakfast!" Zeinn yelled at me as if she were swallowing a microphone. I shook my head before responding.

"Coming!" I responded by yelling back.

I didn't get a response, so I dashed to fix my bedroom right away. I'm tired while walking. I halt when I felt my rear was etching. I was exhausted from cleaning the place where we staying alone. Shanny and Zeinn couldn't help me because our manager called us to the restaurant where we're working as servers and at the bar for serving drinks.

Our Province is remote from the City, you'll need a car to get there because it's surrounded by towering trees. However, like other provinces, we have bars, restaurants, and so on.

Her best friend caught up with her around noon, and the two of them immediately helped her. Since the death of the old woman who cared for her, her two best friends have been her constant companions. 2 years had passed, but the scenario still fresh in her mind, she clearly remember what exactly happened to the old woman, she didn't know what to do at the time because of her wrong decision, the old women she considered as a family died in front of her, it hurts so bad, but do you know what hurts the most? Saying that your so-called family dying in front of you and there is nothing you can do about it.

Only the old woman's house was left to me; I recalls I'm 15 years old that day.

It was raining. which I'm thankful for, because they didn't see how unhappy I'm feeling that day. I experiencing mixed emotions because I accidentally met my best friends who didn't leave me until now.

I sometimes relies on them, afraid that it will happen again. I shook my head when I remembered what happened in the past. I was burying it in oblivion, at the second time I shook my head and galloped to the table.

I've caught up with the two who were preparing their food, they turned their gaze to me when they feel my presence.

"Good morning," she greeted.

"Morning," Shanny greeted her back.

"Good morning, I thought you're going back to sleep," Zeinn said while arranging the plate they were going to use.

"No, sorry, I just remembered something. That's why I took so long," she replied to her.

"Come on, it's okay," her best friend reply.

She sat in an empty seat next to Shanny's chair whose silently sitting. I smiled, so Shanny smiled as well. She turned her gaze to Zeinn again as she spoke for the second time.

"You look exhausted today. Will you join us at the restaurant Azure?" her best friend approached her.

"Yeah, I have nothing to do here," she mumbled as she placed the food on her plate.

"Okay. But we don't mind if you sleep; we know you're tired of cleaning our house, right?" Zeinn makes recommendations to her.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I won't come," she says as she eats her food.

"But you should rest first," her best friend opined. She knows that her best friend will competitive. So she devised the best solution to ensure that her best friend did not tease her.

"Zienn, not because I'm tired. I need to rest. You're also tired. Does that mean you need to rest?" I responded.

"B-but..."

"But what?" she quips.

"Stop! Even over trivial matters, you two are at odds. My God, Azurethia, don't argue with Zeinn. And you Zeinn, let her decide for herself; she's 18 years old she knows what's wrong and what's right! Do you get what I'm saying?" Shanny yelled angrily at us, and we both looked at each other, pointing out who's wrong.

Zienn and I fight a lot, even over trivial matters. Shanny is constantly pleading with us. But that doesn't mean we're both immature; it's almost as if our hobby are arguing and fighting with each other.

"Anyway, I forgot to tell you yesterday that manager Cha gives the schedule for this week," Zeinn said, as if they hadn't been arguing for a while. She shook her head and let out a small laugh.

"All right, I'll check it later," she said before continuing to eat.

"Hurry up and eat, we'll be late," Shanny said in response to their conversation.

"Killjoy, eh," Zeinn said simply to Shanny.

"Ew, that's a dead giveaway," Shanny retaliated.

We finished our breakfast quickly. Shanny offered to wash the dishes, Zeinn and I took a bath. I told Zeinn to take a bath first because I would still prepare my clothes. After Zeinn took a shower, I followed her and quickly dressed. I went to the living room and caught up with the two of them as they were arranging what they would take to the restaurant.

"Take a bath, Shan, and we'll just wait for you here," she told her as she was ironing her uniform.

Shanny simply nodded and dashed into the Cr to take a bath.

They went out together and locked the door when everything was ready to be taken.

When the fresh air greeted, she quickly closed her eyes and smiled, before they began walking towards their workplace.

Many people greet them as they walk to the restaurant, and they smile back. When they arrived at the restaurant, they immediately assisted their coworkers in arranging the tables and chairs for the customers' use.

While waiting for customers, they talked to their coworkers first and greeted them; a few minutes later, customers arrived to eat.

They divided their tasks into two categories: Restaurant in the morning: bar in the evening Manager Cha is still the manager of restaurant and bar.

It's difficult for a girl like her who has to work hard just to eat; even if she wants to go to the city, she doesn't have enough money to find a place to stay and to find a job. She grumbled bitterly, If only she had a parent to guide her, she wouldn't have to go through so much trouble. Where are her parents?

She only remembers Lola Anny seeing her crying on the street and asking her about her parents and where she lived. But she didn't respond, so the old lady took her. It's all based on what the old woman told her when she asked who her parents were. She tried to recall events from three years ago, but her head hurts and she still can't find an answer.

I blink as someone flicks in front of me; I noticed that Shanny looking at me with concerned eyes.

"What's the matter, love? Are you all right? You want me to inform Manager Cha that you need to rest first?" Shanny, her best friend, whispered, but she was hesitant to speak to her.

"I'm fine, I just remembered something in my past," I smiled to show her I was fine, even though I wasn't; it might affect our work.

Shanny appears to be undecided about my response, but she remains silent. Shanny sighed and touched my cheeks.

"Whatever you're going through, Zeinn and I are here to support you, right? You know we will not abandon you. Remember this Azure with us, you're free to tell your stories, we'll talk later when we get home, okay? We do not know what you're thinking, but we're here to tell that you're alone. I adore you, love," Shanny said sweetly before hugging her.

"Hey! Please include me!" they turned to face Zeinn, who was approaching them, and quickly hugged the two of them.

Zeinn kissed her on the forehead and said, "I love you," which made her cry even harder. Even though she does not have a parent to care for him, she has best friends who will fill in the gaps left by her parents.

After her best friends smooth her down, she organized herself to work properly. She also thanked the two because they accompanied her to emote, although she was always really with them when she was in a situation like now.

Azure turned her gaze when a customer entered the door. She quickly approached it and delivered it to her table. She gave the menu, which the woman quickly took; the woman mentioned what she ordered; she smiled at her before telling her that

"We will serve the food after a minute ma'am." the woman just nodded at her while derivable the newspaper in the table's edge.

A few minutes passed and there were a lot of customers eating at their restaurant now, so they were all working. Shanny and Zeinn are also busy serving, so she didn't distract them. After serving and cleaning the tables, they finally done Azure looked at the clock, she wasn't surprise to see its 5 p.m., which means the three of them had finished their shift, their schedule is 7:00 am to 5:00 pm every day they had already talked about their schedule because at night they had to enter the bar again to serve the drinks at 7:00 pm to 9:000pm so every morning they're too tired but they can handle it because they are used to it. First, she didn't want to enter the bar, but she had no choice same with the two.

"Girls! Come here, I have something to say!" she looked at their manager, who shouted as she walked to the counter. It looked like she just came out of her office. They followed them to the counter and took a chair for her.

She looked at Shanny and Zeinn, who put her in the middle before sitting down. I secretly smiled at the actions of the two. She was often really between the two. She just let it go.

"What will you tell us, Manager Cha?" Yeanne said one of their co-workers.

"So that's it. I will not wander around anymore. My cousin will visit here with his friends," she explained to us.

"What's the connections with us manager?" Jill said it's also one of our co-workers, we'll laugh, but yeah, she had a point.

"Jill, that's why you don't have a boyfriend because you're pure nonsense," manager Cha said with a pissed-off smile that made Jill frown a bit reason we'll laugh. Unlike other managers, manager Cha was interacting with us and joking, so we want her to be the manager all the time.

"So, what about your cousin, manager?" Anny took part in the conversation.

"My cousin is coming here tomorrow with his friends. I just want to tell that you'll need to be present and no one will be late because we need to prepare. My cousin rarely visits, so I want us to be prepared when they arrive, okay? Btw good work, guys. See you tomorrow!" manager Cha told them before saying goodbye and go back to her office to tackle something.

But only one thing stuck in her mind was "guest" she didn't know why she suddenly felt nervous but she just ignored it. They stand up and returned the chair to where they had taken it.

"Let's go?" Zeinn woke up the two of them. She detected that the three of them need to rest because their companions already departed.

"Yeah, let's go," Zeinn nodded at what she said before walking bound at the door.

"Girls!" they quickly turned to check who call they, and then they see manager Cha running in their direction.

"Manager Cha, why?" she told when manager Cha get close to them.

"I forgot to say this before, don't go to the bar. I guess your work was too heavy, so I decided you three just work at the restaurant, so you will be less tired," their manager stated.

Both of them couldn't speak due to shock, Zeinn recovered and squeal first."Oh my god!" Zeinn kept shouting.

She blinked twice, managed words not processed in her mind, her sense revert when someone flicked in front of her.

She saw Shanny, who had a wide smile on her face, so she smiled as well. The three of them looked at their manager and thanked her with sincere eyes.

"Don't mention it, go home," their manager smiled at them before going back again to her office.

They both bowed to show so much respect and thanked again before leaving the restaurant. They quickly went home because the restaurant was near to where they were staying.

"Let's get dressed, so we can eat afterward," Zeinn was tiredly said to them, and they both agreed.

Azure immediately entered her room and quickly got dressed, before leaving again for her room. She went straight to their kitchen and caught up with Zeinn, who was cooking something for them.

"Shanny?" she asked her best friend when gets close to her.

"She's still getting dressed." Her best friend said while mixing the pickled adobo and tasting it.

"Oh my, it's delicious! I enjoy cooking, here taste it!" Zienn excitedly told while holding the ladle Azure was just shaken by her best friend's arrogance before tasting what she cooked. Zeinn is good at cooking, but Shanny often cooks for them.

"What now? It's delicious right? Tell me right now Azu I'm excited about your comment and don't you dare tell me it's not delicious cause it is," Zeinn threatened her, but she just laughs and shakes her head a bit.

"Okay, that's enough, it's delicious," she said sparingly because she knew that if she praised her best friend, she would be proud of herself. She doesn't know if it's bad or good. She just laughed at her best friend's behavior before walking to the pot to cook rice.

"I know, right? I'm good at cooking," Zeinn confidently said and went back to cooking again.

"Hey, you're here first, I thought I was first," they looked to Shanny who's going on their way, maybe she even tidied up the room before leaving so it took a while to come here.

"Shanny, my girl, taste my adobo. It's delicious," she sighed when she heard what Zeinn said she expects it, anyway. She continued what she was doing and let the two talk.

"It tastes fined," she laughed at what Shanny said, which made Zeinn frown.

"You don't care about me, Shan," Zeinn said dramatically and wiped her cheek even though there were no tears.

"You have no tears, fool," she commented Zeinn just roll her eyes, she just shook her head before sitting down at the dining table, Shanny followed her.

Zeinn is the only one who's standing because she's mixing the adobo.

"It's okay, I'm still beautiful," Zeinn joked to them and they both laughed.

They waited a few more minutes before the adobo and rice was cook. After that, they concurrently ate. She offered to wash the dishes, so she was the only one left in the kitchen because the two girls had already entered their room, after washing, she quickly entered her room and sat on the wooden studying table before opening the window in front of it.

From her window, she sees the lights of every house, including the twinkling stars and the brightness of the moon, which gave light to the dark surroundings.

Azure was just silent, looking out the window and looking at the bright moon. She raised her right hand as if the moon was within her reach.

"It's so nice and relaxing to watch," Azure sighed before lowering her hand and looking at the moon again.

"I hope I'm just a moon. So that I can give light to the quiet environment, and the people will enlighten when they feel they're alone," Azure added to herself before smiling bitterly.

It did not surprise me when I heard the knock. I just told them to come in because I didn't lock the door.

"Aerhine," Zeinn softly said to me by my second name, but I still couldn't take my eyes off the moon.

"You okay?" Shanny's concern told to me so I secretly smiled they worried too much, they shouldn't worry about me, I'm okay outside-but inside I don't know but I was extremely anxious this day, I wanted to tell them but I said something else.

"Of course, I am." I didn't take my eyes off the moon so they wouldn't notice.

"You love the moon that much?" she turned her gaze to Shanny, who was now sitting on her bed.

"Yeah, everything about the moon. Every time I look at the moon, I found peace," I smiled.

"We sleep here," Zeinn told her directly, as if she didn't need her permission to agree.

"W-wait what? Did I hear it wrong?" she asked.

"We sleep here," Shanny simply said, and roam around.

"Why? I am totally fine," she replied to them.

"We know that you're fine, we want to sleep here, that's all," Shanny said before lying down on her bed.

Zeinn quickly complied before lying down on her bed like Shanny. She shook her head; she had no choice anyway. If she doesn't agree with them, her best friends try to annoy her for sure until she agrees. It's okay with her because sometimes it's the habit of the two to sleep in her room.

She closed the window before walking to lock the door. She also came back immediately and also lie down. The two both looking at the ceiling so she imitated.

"Girls, I just think," Shanny breaks the silence.

"Hmm?" Zeinn's weak response and closes her eyes while listening to Shanny.

"Continue," I take part, so Shanny laughed for a while but she kept saying what she was saying.

"Winning a battle that starts within ourselves is the hardest," Shanny calmly said, but it looks like she's talking to herself, not to us. It stunned me for a moment before I spoke.

"That's right. But we should conquer first. The negativity in yourself to win," I replied to her.

"Yeah, so let's sleep? We need to wake up early tomorrow," Zeinn suggest and they both agree. The two hugged her.

"Good night," she mumbled to her best friends before closing her eyes. She even heard the answer before she fell asleep.

The next day, Azure woke up early because they were going to prepare for what to do later. The three of them eating together before taking a bath and getting ready to go out. When the door was locked, they both walked towards the restaurant. They weren't surprised when some of their co-workers were already there, so they just greeted them and helped them to prepare. The restaurant was rented so they don't have any customers now, manager Cha informs them so she didn't think twice and agreed immediately same with the others, it's okay with them as long as they have a salary.

"Get ready, the visitor is coming," one of their co-workers shouted.

They moved quickly and arranged the things that needed to be fixed, then they went together to the entrance of the restaurant to welcome the guests. They just waited a few minutes before the luxury car finally arrived not far from them, they're both stunned. They shouldn't surprised about the car she was sure it was worth a million.

They were stunned when a man came down, he had a smooth and handsome face, he was wearing a tuxedo, maybe it was manager Cha's cousin, her suspicion confirmed when manager Cha waved at him, a small smile appears on the man's lips reason to shriek the others. She looks again when two more men's got out of the car, like Manager Cha's cousin, both of them were also handsome in their tuxedos, Azure's forehead frowned as another one got out of the car. She couldn't see the face because it was covered by two men's, for some unknown reason Azure suddenly felt a strange nervousness, she held her chest when she can't breathe properly she sighed and ignore what she sentient.

Azure carefully watched the men's approaching them, Azure just shook her head as she rolled her eyes around, the other girl that passed by simply took pictures of the men's and no one seemed to know because they're too focused. The men's just walking complacently and not minding their surrounding. She turned her gaze to her colleagues who were both look idiots, but she focused more on her best friend's reactions.

"Hey! Don't be too obvious, it's an embarrassing girl," she commented to Zeinn who look stupid by the men's coming towards them.

"Shut up! I was just surprised," Zeinn tried to convince her but she just laughed at her excuse.

Next, she looked at Shanny, she was relieved when Shanny was bored looking at the men's finally she was not alone, she wants to end this as soon as possible.

I was stunned for a moment when I realize that they were close to us. I gradually raised my head and looked at the men in front of us, I'm grateful that I'm in the rear part of my co-workers, my presence is Inconspicuous.

My eyes accidentally landed behind them. My head suddenly aches, when the man with blue eyes showed up, his lifeless eyes were looking at me intently with a blank expression, it was familiar to me, I was slowly backing away as my chest tightness, my hand was shaking for no apparent reason, why? W-why do I feel this? I suddenly cough because of shortness of breath. I closed my eyes to calm myself my heart was beating fast and I felt a strange fear. I finally backed away and went to the side that I'm sure they won't notice I just want to leave. I kept running until I reached out home I was forced to open the door but it was locked. I ran to the back of our house where no one could see me.

I just sat down and hugged both hands in my knees, I cried, until now my head still hurts. what's wrong with that man? What happened to me? For some unknown reason, I became angry when I saw him, who is he?

"Shall we kill her boss?"

"No, she belongs to someone else,"

"Son, Kill her! Don't forget you promised to your mom not to disobey me!"

"W-where do those voices come from? Who spoke?" I was confused with an image entering my mind and I could hear faint voices that seemed to be whispering to me.

"Omyghad my baby, don't involve my daughter in this situation please she doesn't deserve this," the voice said again.

"HAHAHAHA, Emily do you think I'll believe you? No! I want you to Suffer, you'll be the first to be killed and then your daughter!"

"That's enough please, stop!" I covered my ears with trembling hands so that I could no longer hear the voices that kept echoing in my ears.

"That's enough! Stop please-Aahhhh!" I couldn't help but shout and continued crying.
