Jasmine's POV

I applied eye liner as I finished my make up.

*squeaks*

I'm so excited.. This is my first date with my boyfriend that lasted 3 days. I checked myself in the mirror as I posed sexily from time to time. I twirled finally and carried my bag, walking out of my room.

I share an apartment with my best friend, Lexi. Every month, we divide the rent into half and pay. Not that we can't afford it alone but we just love doing it that way as our parents doesn't know about it and we keep the remaining halves to ourselves.

"Ouch! Lexi" came from his room opposite mine... Lexi King at duty.

That's probably the voice of Alicia, his girlfriend. Did I mention that I'm very good in chemistry even when I'm in the humanity and arts department? Well yes, I was the one that set up Lexi and Alicia and they're doing pretty well now.

I brought out my phone and texted him.. I better not disturb their make out session.

"OFF TO MEET CASPER" I texted and went out of the apartment. Casper Dean is my boyfriend and I think I'm madly in love with him right now cuz out of the list of my ex.. he has been the only one that didn't break up with me the day he asked me out.

Apart from Lexi, he'll be the most handsome guy in my world. I entered my red Porsche car and checked out myself in the rear mirror.

...Oupps! my lipstick looks too bright. I took out a wiper and cleaned it off, I better not scare him away. After applying a back up lip gloss, I realized it's too plain. What am I going to do?

I got down from the car and went back into the apartment, I'm probably 30 minutes early so I have no worries. I went into my room and brought out my lipsticks but it confused me more. I took two lipsticks and came out to see Lexi and Alicia fully dressed.

"That was fast" I blurted out and Lexi came to me and wound his arm around my neck.

"Alicia.. Ombre or onion?" I asked her, referring to the shade of the lip colourers and ignoring Lexi's hand around my neck.

"Hm have you tried pink?" she shrugged.

"Aren't you over doing this 'date' with the Dean guy, you could've gone natural or played hard to get" Lexi cuts in.

"Great! Now I know my mortal enemy" I rolled my eyes and went on to try pink lipstick and it was perfect.

"I love you Alicia" I came out and said, proceeding to go down the stairs.

"Hey! what about me" Lexi yelled from behind.

"I just said that before she came out, you're annoying" Alicia bickered and I laughed at them before going to my car and driving to the date venue.

I didn't have high hopes in meeting him there first so I selected a table and ordered juice for both of us in advance. Then I began my waiting..

1 minute, 2 minutes... 10 minutes.. 20 minutes.. an hour..

It's alright, there might be traffic on his way.

1hr 30 minutes...

2 hours..

I felt the back of my hand wet, I didn't even realize I started crying, just then.. my phone beeped.

'CASTO LOVE' it displayed a message notification and I clicked hurriedly.

"Of course.. of course, that's what they all say, Sorry.. sorry" I cried to myself. The contents are similar to the other ones I read.

SORRY JASMINE, SOMETHING POPPED UP AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO MAKE IT.

"I hate all boys!!" I shouted.

'except Lexi' my Inner mind retorts.

"Of course" I replied to myself and the people in the restaurant started looking at me like I was some lunatic.

"Mind your business!!" I yelled and stood up.

Do I smell? no I don't think so. Is my b^tt small and my b^obs shapeless? no! it doesn't seem so... am I too short? is my skin purple? am I a virus?

No! No! No! I'm not a disease but they all run away from me.. I just need an answer.. I just need to know why they keep toying with my feelings.

I drove to a red light house and took a few shorts of liquor.. when I started seeing fog, I hurriedly dialed the first number on my contact list - Other half.

When I saw her walk in with a dejected look, I felt a hard pang on my chest. I watched her drown herself in alcohol.. Maybe it's the results of the beer I had earlier but I couldn't keep my eyes off her.

Her beauty was captivating. From the pout on her plump lips whenever she remembers something to the way her big doe eyes rolls. I just wish I could stop her tears from flowing down her beautiful face. Even as her make-up was ruined from her persistent tears, she was still attractive.

"Hey dude what're you looking at?" Today is actually my highschool reunion and my classmates.. ex crushes.. friends are all lined up around me.

"Hm, I just don't feel comfortable here" I swallowed nothing as my eyes begin to wander around again and stop at her again. This time, her head was layed on the bar counter and her eyes were shut. It looked like she fell asleep or fainted.. I really can't know if I'm far away from her.

"Do you remember Chloe? Highschool Bea and every guy crush? surprisingly she said she's on her way and she'd make it"

Chloe was well known for being sassy and rude in my highschool. Yeah, it's amazing that she's going to join us. She rarely participate in low class gathering like this.

I guess she's still all guy's crush. I must admit, I liked her too but now.. when there's this girl in the bar, she's nothing in comparison.

Right.. the girl, I should meet her. I stood up to walk to the sleeping beauty's side but I had to stop in my steps when I saw another guy before her and in no time, he scooped her into his arms and carried her.

"My knight in shining armor" she muttered drunkingly. I didn't even have the chance to ask her before I was rejected.. this is too bad.

"Hey Aiden.. You're cute already in three years" I heard a familiar voice mutter in my front. I felt her sexily drop her filthy hands on my chest.

I remember how she used those same hands to embarrass me in the public.

Hnn.. is it morning? .. I opened my eyes and saw the bright morning light, what happened last night?

**Hazy Flashback**

I remember Lexi picking me from the floor at the bar and bringing me to the car and blah blah down to the house and then saying some stupid words like,

"Lexi.. my boobs are bigger than yours" he rolled his eyes at that.

"Lexi.. your nose is long, that means you lie!"

"Lexi, am I fat?" down to when I started crying when he dropped me on the cushion.

"Am I irritating Lexi, what is so bad about me" I cried and I saw him clearly gulp and avoid my eyes.. what does that mean?

"Jasmine, you're drunk alright.. don't spew nonsense" he said.

"Lexi, no guy wants me.. I haven't even tried kissing, I don't know what it feels like for good 20 years .. I don't think my lips are too big, are they?" he slowly brought his hands to my face and caress it.

"You're perfect babe, just the way you are" he smoothened my hair.

"Then kiss me!" (gosh you're such a fool, why did you say that?!)

"you also can't do it right? that means the problem is from me then" I hiccupped before continuing.

"I'm just so irritating that even my best friend rejected me" I laughed drunkingly and the next thing I remembered were his lips smashing into mine and.. OMG, what happened next? I can't remember.

I raised up the cover blanket and realized my shirt is gone but my short tights are there, I turned to the other side and saw Lexi sleeping shirtless too... No no, what did we do???

"Lexi! Lexi!!" I hit him and he switched position.

"wake up!!" I yelled and he opened his eyes, our eyes met and There wasn't an ounce of regret in his eyes.

"What happened??" I gasped and he sneered.

"You were screaming my name under me yesterday" he said and my eyes widened.

"That's a lie" I gasped.. I'm not feeling any pain down there like the novels say.

"ha! you should see yourself right now" he chuckled. "Nothing happened chillax babe.. although I got turned on while we were smooching on the bed but you puked on both if ourselves before I could do anything so I took if your clothes and mine" he said and I sighed in relief.

I can't believe we even took it to the bed. He sat up and looked at me as if expecting me to say something.

"I'm sorry for forcing you to kiss me" I looked down on my hands.

"Jazz.." he rubbed my hair. "how about I say I like kissing you" he said and I looked at him, he brought his face closer and savored my lips. I got lost not knowing what to do but then.. the face of Alicia appeared in my head.

I pulled out halfway, "stop!"

"Are you denying you don't like it too?" he said and moved closer.

"Lexi.. what has gotten into you" I frowned "you have a girlfriend"

"I know baby girl.."

"go to your room and leave me alone, what we just did is wrong" I said and avoided his gaze.

"we're probably late for first lecture" I added but I felt his lips on my cheeks before he stood up and left his room.

I felt my heart slow down on its pace, it's all my fault for starting it.. he is my best friend and I shouldn't have asked him to kiss me yester night. I won't deny, I enjoyed the lingering feeling and new feeling in my stomach as we exchanged salivas .. it felt unusually sweet and I felt more safe losing my first kiss Lexi because he is the only one I trust most.

I didn't even know when my hands subconsciously move to my lips.. I want to try it again.

I got down from the bed and took a shower.. even in the shower, the picture of us kissing couldn't leave my head. I shook my head countless times till I dressed in a white jean and casual shirt with a white pair of sneakers.

I took my satchel and walked to the living room to meet Lexi dressed and on his phone. When he noticed my presence, he looked up to me and stood up. I walked to him and kiss him back.

Now I have no excuse, this is in the broad daylight and I'm not high on any liquor shots.

I stared at his expression for a while but he smirked amusingly.

"You have a lot to learn about kissing" he held my shoulder.

"Aren't you worried Alicia would find out what we're doing?" I said.

"We're best friends and it's only normal for us to share kisses"

"But this is in the mouth" I retorted. I tried searching his eyes to see what he was thinking but I couldn't understand him. He pinched my lips with a little force before talking.

"Alicia doesn't have to find out.. I can teach you how to kiss so that you won't embarrass yourself with other guys" he cupped my face with his left hand.

"But.." I wanted to say something but he cut be off by kissing me instead.

"Deal or no deal?" he said and I bit my lips. I stood on my toe after giving it a thought for a while, I slowly returned the kiss.

"I'll take that as a yes, let's go to school" he caressed my face and hugged me.

When we got to school, we parted ways.. she's studying English as a major while I'm studying Fine and Visual Arts.

I entered the art studio and met Casper, we're in the same course and Jasmine saw him when she came to meet me earlier and they started going out.

"Casper bro" I patted his shoulder and he shrugged my hands are off - I was expecting it.

"What's your deal, I just found out all the guys she dared broke up with her also because you threatened them like you did to me" Casper frowned.

"Yeah.. yeah good thing you decided to listen to me"

"Jerk! do you derive pleasure in causing her harm?" He pushed me off lightly, he must've been really into her.

"Woah.. do you wanna be on my enemy list.. I told you to stay away from her she's mine!! MINE alright!!" I half yelled and stressed the word 'mine'. She is mine.. Jasmine is mine.. she has to be mine alone and no one else's.

"..huh" Casper paused.

"Everyone knows you're just a protective best friend of hers"

"Stay away from her.. that's all I'll tell you" I said and walked out of the studio to find a place to catch my breathe.

"School was so hectic, full of notes" Jasmine complained and dropped her bag while I just kept staring at her every moves.

"I want to make some noodles, are you interested?" she looked at me with a cocked eyebrow.

"Yeah, of course" I replied and she dashed into the kitchen.

I walked to my room, dropped my bag at some place and took off my shirt, I feel more comfortable that way and Jasmine is already used to it.

I came back to the living room and walked in the direction of the kitchen to take water. I slowed down in my steps and observed her action as she cooked.

Why am I just noticing she has a curvy backside?

I walked to her sneakingly and hugged her from behind. I started kissing her nape..

"Lexi.. I'm cooking" she said coyly and tried to wriggle out of my hold but I pulled her back and trailed my hands into her shirt.. up to her b××bs, caressing it.

I smiled when got the reaction I wanted. I turned her to face me and kissed her lips.

"yummy" I mumbled and she stared at me. I wanted to reconnect her lips to mine when I heard a voice.

"Lexi, jasmine.. where are you guys!" that sounds deadly familiar and it's similar to Alicia's voice.

I disengaged quickly from her and Alicia entered the kitchen almost immediately.

"There.. you are" Alicia said awkwardly as she noticed Lexi was shirtless abd Jasmine shirt looks crumpled.

"what're you guys doing?"

"erm.. I came to drink some water" Lexi stuttered.

"sorry for not informing you, I forgot my pant in your room yesterday Lexi and that was my favorite" she winked at Lexi.

"oh okay" Lexi scratched his hair and accompanied her upstairs while Jasmine stood lame as she remembered what they were doing.

'Lexi doesn't looks like he feels guilty, we're both sinning under Alicia's nose'

She turned back and saw that the noodles were getting burnt. She hurriedly put off the fire under the pot before she shook her head.

"I pray you don't put me in trouble Lexi" She muttered to herself.

~Writer's POV

Lexi walked Alicia out of the house while Jasmine layed on the couch with a pillow rested on her tummy, watching TV. Not so long, Lexi came in and walked behind the couch because that was the pathway. He bent from the back of the chair and saw that she was already asleep, he ruffled her hair and the gentle movement made her stir in her sleep.

He turned around and sat beside her. After watching her bite her lips subconsciously in her slumber, he bent forward and pecked her lips shortly.

Her eye lid bat open in an instance from shock.

"You're back" she recovers and scratched her eyes before seating up.

"I don't know why I suddenly can't resist those small pink lips" he muttered while rubbing her hair in soothing strokes and loving manner but she held his hand.

"Lexi.. I'm starting to feel guilty"

"..there's nothing to be guilty about"

"We have to be careful, Alicia almost walked in on us" she said in a dampened voice.

"Okay.. I'll learn how to lock the door" he winked.

"No! Not like that"

"you also have to stop seducing me" he moved closer to her so that they were inches apart.

"how did I seduce you?" she frowned and looked into his eyes.. she couldn't read clearly what he was feeling, she bit her lips in dissatisfaction.

As someone who's very good in chemistry, she noticed her friend Jonathan has been staring at Kai who was reading a french comprehension passage for the whole class.

"Do you like him?" she asked, not minding if she's poking her nose without being asked to.

"What? no!" Jonathan spurted and looked away with a flushed face.

"would you like to switch seats?" Kai was seated right beside her and she was the one in-between them.

"I don't like him alright, I'm just in awe of how good he's able to read French fluently. Even I who has one of the parent from France isn't this good"

"But I sense a great chemi.."

"Yeah, we've all heard how good you are in it but what doesn't it work on you" Jonathan cuts in before before breaking the eye contact and that rendered her speechless.

There would be no need to yelp at him because he is very right. No matter how good she is in pairing two together, she isn't good enough to pair herself with someone.

Just then, a text came in at that moment.

ARE YOU STILL HAVING CLASS? - LEXI.

YEAH, FRENCH LANGUAGE - JASMINE.

COME OUT AND MEET ME AT THE GATE - LEXI.

BUT MY LECTURE ISN'T OVER YET - JASMINE.

ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO ME? - LEXI.

"..." She didn't reply. Should she go out or stay?

Right now.. her mood is so dampened that she might burst. She took a permission from the lecturer before leaving out.

Lexi walked to the gate and waited for some minutes before he saw her running to his direction.

"That's my girl" he flashed a smile.

"what do you want?" she frowned when she got there.

"Darling I can't stop thinking about you that I couldn't concentrate in class"

"That's your problem, why does it have to affect me" she folded her arm and scrunched her face tighter.

"Who dares to offend my best friend"

"Then let's go home early, today is going to be a long night" he slid his hands to her butt and gave it a squeeze.

"Lexi, were in public" she pushed him off but it was too late for the camera that captured it.

"No one is watching" he winked and pulled her to the car and they dropped home.
