~Jaden's POV~

NO!!!

This can't be happening...

Tears rolled down my eyes as I watched her lifeless body on the floor, covered in blood with her cloth torn apart.

~ a Few hours ago~

Walking down the hall, I heard two people whispering. It seemed as if there was trouble. The whispers were too low that I could hardly pick a word. Getting close, all I could hear was

"We have to let Lady Karen know, there's great danger..."

Getting closer, they immediately stopped the whispers as if they sensed me coming.

"What's going on?" I asked

"Nothing Sir?" They replied

Murphy who was in charge of training me looked at the other man and gave him a sign to live

"What danger were you talking about?"

"Who's in danger?"I asked with curiosity

"Nothing young master, no one is in trouble." He replied

I knew he was hiding something from me. Something was wrong somewhere.

He walked me to our usual training ground and urged me to practice but this time he asked me to go against him. Normally, he would always ask me to go against the other men but I wonder why he wants me to fight him now. Well, he should be prepared.

I attacked first but before I could strike, I found myself on the ground. It happened so fast that I didn't see what was coming. No one has ever defeated me without struggle and no one can ever be that fast. But hey, he is Boss

"Get up and practice, we don't have much time?" He said and walked away

It was clear that something was wrong with the look on his face and the tone of his voice.

"I must find out what's going on," I said to myself

Walking towards my mother's room, I discovered that Willow was in her room. I moved closer, this time carefully to avoid being noticed again.

"We have to do everything possible to keep him safe," mother said

"I know, that means we have to leave as soon as possible," Willow said

"And we have to leave... He's here" come out young master, he said

"Can someone tell me what's going on?"

"Who are you keeping safe and who is after who?" I asked curiously

"No one my son" mother said

"Sooner or later he will get to find out, letting him know now would be the best?" Willow said

"What's he talking about, mother? I asked

She let out a sigh, walked toward me, and led me to sit on her bed.

"My dear, certain things are going on that you do not know. Some packs most especially "Eric's pack" are after you. And they would stop at nothing until you are dead" she said

But why?, I asked

"That's because you are one of a kind. You are special. You are the only one who can turn to a wolf any time and still change back." She said

But...

She cut me short and continued

"They are scared that you would overthrow them one day. They want to get rid of you before you become much stronger. They know that you have not become stronger yet."

"You have to leave tomorrow with Willow, to be saved." She added

Willow looked at mother as if being displeased with what she said.

What about you, mother? I asked

"Don't worry about me, I will be fine. You've got to be safe first. Our future depends on your safety." She replied

"Their future?, How?" I thought to myself

"Can I take a walk?" I asked

"Of course."She said then turned to Willow.

"Make sure he's safe" she added

Willow nodded in response.

I walked out of the room still in shock at what I just heard. So I'm like a prey now. And Willow followed afterward.

Far deep into the woods,

"Stop," Willow said as I made a halt

"You don't have to beat yourself to it, it isn't your fault." He continued

"You are the chosen one. It's your destiny to lead us. Don't worry, I'll protect you with my life." He said as I ran to him and hugged him. At first, he was surprised but he then responded and hugged me back.

"It's enough now, let's head home. Your mother must be worried now" he said as we walked back home.

Getting home, we found the gates open. Everywhere was quiet.

"Something doesn't feel right," I said and Murphy nodded in response.

Entering the gate we found our men lying helplessly injured on the ground. One was still alive.

Willow bent towards him and asked him what happened

"My la... My lad... My lady..." He said as he finally gave up.

On hearing this, Harry hurriedly rushed to my mother's room and I followed.

I fell to my feet as I walked toward her.

Mother!!! I let out a loud cry.

"It's okay, young master," Willow said as he hugged me tightly.

"We have to leave now, I sense danger coming" he added

Still shocked at my mother's death, Murphy dragged me out of the room to the stables. He placed his hands on my shoulders and said

"You have to be strong, you have to stay alive just like you promised your mother."

We have to...

"Get behind me," Willow said as if he sensed danger

He looked around but didn't see anything.

"Hurry, get on the horse now," he said

Quickly, I hurried and got on the horse and he joined me on the same horse

Hahhh!!!

We rode off into the woods.

Suddenly our horse stop and refused to move any further. And was just turning around. Willow calmed the horse down and came down.

"When I say run, you run. Understood?" Willow asked

I nodded in response

Still looking around when suddenly five wolves came out of the woods. And they looked really scary.

"Run, now!!!" Willow shouted q

I rode with speed knowing full well that two wolves followed me.

Ahhhhhhhh!!!

I fell off the horse. Stood up and realized that they had already caught up with me. They moved around me in circles.

They both attacked me at the same time. It was one hell of a fight. I managed to defeat them but I had claw marks all over me.

I walked alone in the woods hoping to get help. But to no avail. I collapsed right there in the woods.

When I opened my eyes, I discovered that I was in a room. It looked quite weird. Herbs were all over the place. I quickly stood up and looked around but there was no one. All the scars on my body were gone. There were no traces of them.

"Finally, you're awake."

Turned, ready to attack only to realize that it was a young lady who stood in the dark side of the room just staring at me.

Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you, she said

"Who are you?" I asked

She chuckled and then walked out of the dark. I watched her every move as she walked.

Gosh!

She looked very pretty. I've never seen anyone as pretty as she is. She has nice curves, yeah I could see it through her well-fitted gown, she has curly dark hair, and damn those eyes, she has charming blue eyes which reminded me of my mother. A teardrop fell from my eyes just at the thought of my mother.

"It's okay, you don't have to cry," she said moving closer to me

"How did I get here?" I asked as she made a halt

She answered

"Thanks for saving me would be nice but anyway, I needed herbs for something, so I set out into the wood to find some, only to find you on the ground badly injured. I wanted to leave but couldn't so I brought you here, cleaned you up."

"And yes, you've been out for f**king 3 days" she yelled

Oh no, Willow...

I quickly rushed outside to discover that we were in the middle of nowhere. All I could see were trees and birds flying around.

Tried to see if I could find my way...

Boom!!!

The next thing I knew, I was on the ground. Stood up and tried to move forward again and the same thing happened.

"What's going on? I asked"

"Don't bother, you can't get out?" She said

What's this? Why can't I leave this place? I asked furiously

"It's a kind of spell I use to keep myself safe," she said

"It's called a containment spell" she added

Containment what? I asked confused

"On my way bringing you to this place, I noticed that I was being followed, so I used the containment spell to keep you safe and also be safe from whatever was after you," she said

"I used the spell after I noticed that there were certain wolves that followed us looking angry."

I knew they were after you but didn't know why.

"So tell me why," she asked

It's none of your business, I replied

By the way, my name's Rhea, what's yours? she asked

Thanks for helping me out Rhea but you have to let me out now, I stated

"Gosh, you won't even tell me your name. Well, you can't just leave, with the way I see it, those wolves out there will just rip you apart the moment they see you." She said

You don't understand, I have to go now...

But she refused and said

"No, not until you tell me what's going on. And who or what are you, and why those wolves were after you"

I went back in pacing around like someone who lost something. Looking out through the window, she pulled an old rocking chair into the shade under a tree and sat down facing upward.

~Rhea's POV~

~past~

Growing up as a young girl, people saw me as a witch. They despised me and my mother. They would always say horrible things to me and my mother. But mother will always tell me not to listen to whatever they say. She said that I'm a special child blessed with the gift of healing.

A few years later, my mother passed away and I was left alone. Many people said I killed my mother and so many other awful things to me.

Walking around the market one day, I found a little girl who was injured. I wanted to live him there but her tears couldn't let me do that knowing full well that I could help her.

Don't worry, everything is gonna be okay, I said to her and she nodded in response.

I placed my hand on her leg and healed her.

"Wow, thank you miss," she said.

You are welcome, now be careful next time, okay?

"Okay miss, I will," she said as she ran off to go and meet her mother.

Mother look, that miss over there healed me, she said to her mother

Her mother turned to see who her daughter was talking about and as soon as she set her eyes on me, she asked her daughter to go inside.

I waved at her but she looked at me with so much despise. I covered my head and went back home angry at what happened.

Getting home, I walked straight to my room and laid down on my bed.

"Rhea..."

Who's there? I asked

I heard someone call my name. Looked around and found nobody. Even checked through the window but couldn't see anyone.

Maybe it's all in my head, I concluded.

I was about to lay down when I heard the voice again and this time I knew it was not just my imagination.

It kept calling out to me. I followed it and it lead me to my mother's study room.

What the hell is going on? I asked, not minding that there was nobody to answer. I looked around just to be sure that no one was there.

"Rhea..." The voice called out again. Still looking around trying to find where the voice was coming from

"Rhea... I'm here"

Gosh, it was coming from the box which lay close to the table. Moving closer to the box, I bent down and knelt in front of the box, and tried to open it. But it was looked.

Where could the key be?, I asked

I searched for the key but couldn't find it.

Oh, I remember seeing my mother putting something in a little bag in her wardrobe. I went to her wardrobe and found the key in the little bag then went straight to the box and opened it.

What the hell?...

To my greatest surprise, all I found in the box was a very big book.

"Grimoire (A book of the spell)"

Wow!!! This looks a bit creepy. I opened the book and found many ancient spells and rituals written in it which got me thinking...

"Was my mother a witch?" I asked myself

Days went by and all I did was go through the book. And one night, something in the woods called out to me. It was a female voice.

"Help him please, he needs your help," the voice said.

I hesitated at first but when the voice persisted, I picked up the lantern and decided to go into the woods and find out what was wrong.

Kept walking and walking deep into the woods and couldn't find anything or anyone. I was about to give up when I saw someone on the ground who seemed lifeless. Drew closer to the person...

"Oh, God!!!" I became scared and decided to run back home but something stop me from running. Looking down, I saw a hand holding my gown,

"Please, help me," he said as he lost consciousness

I almost left when I remembered the voice I heard

"Help him please, he needs your help"

I can't just leave him here but how am I gonna carry him. Thinking of how am going to carry him to my house, I remembered a spell I came across in the spellbook.

"The Ascendio spell"

It's a spell that can make someone ascend on air and fly. I've never tried it but there's always a first time.

I dropped the lantern, closed my eyes, and began to chant the spell.

opening my eyes, I found myself above the grounds...

Wow!!! This is amazing. I couldn't believe it I'm in the air defying gravity.

I took the same spell on him hoping it would work on him too.

Immediately, his body started to float in the air. I manage to grab the lantern with one hand and with the other I held his body and directed him to my house. Getting home, I chanted the "Descending" spell and we both came down to the ground. I dragged his body into the house and came back for the lantern only to discover some wolves coming towards the house. I had no other choice but to use the "Containment spell".

They couldn't get in and yes, neither can we expect if I reverse the spell. Well, at least we are safe for now. I went back inside to help him heal.

Three days later,

"Ahh!!! Mother!!!" he screamed out before waking up finally.

I stood in the dark part of the room watching him very carefully.

Finally, you are awake. I said and he turned to me about to attack.

Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you, I said with a reassuring face.

He let down his hands and asked

"Who are you"

I chuckled and then drew closer to him but observed that his eyes were all over my body. My eyes met his gaze and a teardrop fell from his eyes. I knew he was in pain.

"The longer I stay here, the more danger I'm getting you into," he said.

"You've got to tell me what's going on," I replied reluctantly

"Okay, My name is Jaden, and I'm a werewolf. Those wolves killed my mother and for them to have tracked me down here, that means Murphy, my trainer must be dead." He confessed

Shocked at what I just heard, I asked
