Werewolves and witches always have that bond that ties them. A friendship that will never break apart. But, as the fairies come into the picture- the witches gradually separate from the wolf and voluntarily join the fairy. A betrayal ensued, which the witches regretted and forced to return and apologize to the wolf.
A betrayal who changed the history, and somehow, that history repeats itself.
Unbeknownst to everyone, a witch, and a wolf fell in love with each other and tried to hide their relationship. They moved away and with their mysterious smoke, they ran away from those two kingdoms. The kingdom of Daciantha and Hierantha. Daciantha was ruled by witches, and Hierantha was ruled by werewolves. Aside from Witch Land, Daciantha is also the home of witches.
"Why do we need to hide? My magic can make them disappear, just trust me," the witch said, as they're running under the moonlight kiss. She was wearing a black cloak, covering her face and her body
The white wolf just looked at her, as if he was tracing her face. From her red lips to her pointed nose, and to her cheeks. The werewolf just shook his head, and they stopped running, still gasping for breath because they hadn't stopped running since before.
"Don't you want to go away with me? Don't you want me to embrace you?" The white wolf slowly hugged the witch, who was now starting to cry.
The witch cried, and her cries echoed in the whole forest. The moment she stepped, her barefoot in the scattered falling leaves of the dark forest. The man howls slowly- in her ears. "Turn around, and don't ask anything. Can you do it, milady?"
Listening to wolf, the witch turned around and turn her gaze at the glowing flowers belongs to Seravina. The goddess that suddenly vanished in the middle of the night. She whistled along with the howling wind, as the moment she wanted to ask the wolf. When suddenly she felt a calloused finger, trailing in her neck.
"What are you doing?" she asked, but still, you can see a small smile crept in her face. A wolf just chuckled, and without wasting their stealth moment. He took a golden necklace from his back pocket. As soon as he held up the witch's hair, he put it around the sorcerer's neck.
"Please take care of it, always," he said, as he held the hands of sorcerer. They run again with their tremble moment, he never let the witch say anything as for now. He shifted on his white form, he ruined his white polo and black pants as he has thrown it away. He hurriedly loaded and mounted the sorcerer on his back.
Meanwhile, while they're running. A crow flies towards on their side, and the crow looked at them using a harsh glare. The two creatures gasped as they saw the crow, leading their trail they've running on. They've found an exit at the end of the forest.
"It was only a bridge - an arch bridge made by stone, a blood of witches needs to be sacrificed just to made that strong bridge," the witch, almost catching her breath.
"Stopped, we're already here." She leaped formally. She's trying to find a wolf resurface, but, what she just heard is a howl coming from the next trees branches.
"Oh, damn it. I forgot about that thing." Without any hesitation, she opened her palm, a moment after she mumbles playing. A white smoke suddenly appears in her palms. Within a second, from the smoke. She made clothes for the wolf. She slowly close her eyes as she called the name of the wolf.
"Saxon! Your clothes are here, come out, now!" She shouted slowly, enough to be heard of the wolf.
Hearing the witch voice. Saxon suddenly came out from the branches of the tree. He took the clothes, as he wears his smirk. He sighed heavily and hold the chin of the sorcerer.
"You can now open your eyes, milady," he whispers sweetly. As the moment the sorcerer opened her eyes, it wasn't happiness that you can see through of it. It was fear, grief, the oblivion that turned into darkness.
"W-What happened to you? Damn it, you have made me scared, milady," he held her cheeks and hugged her so tight. But the witch still pointing her fingers at the other side and in the blue eerie sky.
"They've found us. No! Our baby! Saxon. What are we going to do?" she shouted as she never thought of anything, when she pulled her invisible whisk broom and ride into it.
"Don't you know that it was an ambush in the sky battles!" Saxon shouted at her angrily. But, when suddenly, he turned his back.
His body trembled for a moment, as he saw thousands of witches in the sky, and werewolves with their packs on the other side. Suddenly, a mist cover the whole forest as suddenly, he heard a rustling sound, but when the forest came back normally. He held his blade using his right hand.
"We'll gonna fight for our forbidden love. If I die, they were never know where is our only child, the fruit of illicit love," the witch said as she conjures a ball of white smoke and throw it to the sky.
"Blessed by the sacred crow, our daughter will be the compelling witch of her generation. As the four high mistresses will take care of you, swept her away from this dark forest," The witch said, and her eyes turned into black and cut her wrist and pour her compelling white blood inside the ball of the white smoke." The appropriate time will come. She will meet the Alpha seeking for his help... and when the fate agreed... they will marry, and live happily."
Those are the last words before the portal closed and vanished at night. Thousands of swords, murmuring of the spells, those howling voice from the other side attacking the wolf, who held no weapon as for now.
"Saxon, hold my hand!" the witch said and tries her best to get close and hold the hand of Saxon, but a silver gun loaded a silver bullet aimed in the direction of Saxon
"No! Not a silver bullet, please," she was now mourning and trying to kill every witch blocking her way.
"You're a traitor! A witch, an avarice when it comes to power. You deserve to die, having you in our race was disgusting, you're a useless, worthless witch- before Taxa, her friend, continue her words, her head cut into pieces, suddenly, her body turned into ashes.
But when her eyes shifted in Saxon, who's now lying in the grass, shot by a poisonous arrow in his back. Before, she can even run into him. A poisonous arrow hit her back, that made her feel weak, and landed on the grass. " You will never find my daughter, she will be forever clandestine. . . I swear of that," she said those words before her body give up, but still, she found a way to hold the trembling hands of Saxon, even though it was too late. She didn't notice that, slowly, she was closing her eyes and darkness overwhelmed her.
As the moonlight vanished, the dawnlight begins to show up. In the midst of the unforgettable battle between two creatures-a forbidden love fight until the end, a sound of horrible howls and curses in the wind suddenly disappeared.
Daciantha and Hierantha, the two kingdoms where the interval is a snake-shaped river. But, after the treachery happened, and a forbidden love made the two kingdoms split into four empires. Daciantha, was ruled by witches. The land of the curses, witchcraft, potion, and spells. Heirantha, the kingdom of the alphas and beta. But, no one ever imagine that the two kingdoms were ruined because of love.
We have four empires, namely, Ithaca in the West, Acluzair in the North, Zatca in the South, Safixa in the East. Those empires now, were ruled by witches and werewolves. The pixie and mermaid, be never seen after the war happened. They never love meddling in troubles or even joining in the battlefield, they prefer being at peace.
And it remains a tale. A tale of howls and curses in the wind.
And me? I am the goddess, drowning in the beauty of lychnis- my flowers. It was a night, the orabelle slowly fading its light, the darkness slowly overwhelmed the whole garden in the middle of the dark forest.
I decided to go the magic river, in where a silver bridge connect to the another forest. I slowly brought my feet into the water and there dipped my two feet and spontaneously closed my eyes, feeling the breeze of air that seemed to bite into my system.
" The same empty feeling, again," I said, as I glanced mournfully at the moon. I was only with the moon. Except for four witches, I have no other family. All this, I don't know the story of my past. Prioz and I both grew up in the care of four witches. My supposed lifelong pleasure instantaneously gone, as soon as the destined woman came into that world.
"What does Calixta have that I don't have? Is it because she's more powerful than me? Is it because she has a family, while me? I'm just alone." I chuckled, as I said those words.
"Prioz? Yeah, she got the attention of Prioz. My evil aunts also. I don't really understand, I'm not enough? I'm not pretty enough for them?"
I took a deep breath and decided to leave that river. A miserly smile flashed on my lips as I walked back to the garden of lychnis. The four Mistress of the Witch Land, sent me to guard those roses, those fiery red roses.
Without any hesitation, I tried to spread my arms and act like that I'm ready to fly, when suddenly, my cloak fell in my head. I shifted my gaze at the night sky covered by the dark clouds, making it surreal.
"If I will be given a chance to cherish those moments with them, again, I will never waste every second with them..."
After saying those words, I immediately walked upon the rustling sound of the dry leaves of the forest. I was about to step my left foot, when suddenly, a howl coming from the end of the forest, roaring that makes my body tremble for a moment.
The trail of the butterflies and fireflies, lost its light, and only an orabelle coming from the moonlight kiss. I just shuddered and tried to divert my attention. I went to lychnis and let my fingers trails in the flowers. But still, I can still feel my sweats dripping in my forehead because of agitation that I felt.
"A howl? It can be Prioz. . . But no, he's busy with the four Mistress."
I don't want myself drown to be that howl, but the moment I want to fly with my brisk broom, another howl-but this time, it was loud enough to cover the whole forest. Oblivion and fear shrouds in myself, but I found a way. I climb in the tree branches and thread into it formally. I'm on the place, where I can clearly see the other side.
The silver bridge, according to the prophecy. It was thousands of witches sacrificed their lives, to build that silver bridge. I gasped, when I heard a rustling sound mixed by a loud howl from the end of the forest.
With my trembling hand, I took one piece of lychnis and turned it into a wand. I muttered in the calm wind, but suddenly, a roaring sound of wolf rushing towards me, and ready to scratch me with his sharp nails, instantaneously, my cloak fell in my head that caused my face to expose.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" I asked him, almost muttering those words. He didn't answer, but a loud howl can be heard. The formerly ferocious wolf is now meekly staring at me. " Please, shift in to your human form. I want to see you."
I could not understand why I was dizzy because of the sudden smoke that engulfed my entire body. Furthermore, I grabbed my roses and there took strength not to fall to the ground. Not only that, but I saw white smoke enveloping the white werewolf, and in a moment of it, he transformed into his human form.
"Come with me. I will show you to the paradise," he said, smirking in his face and trying to convince me.
Listening to his words, but my mind can't think anymore. But, I could no longer bear my headache and the trembling of my knees from the freezing, I found myself who fell into a stout arm. I saw a shadow, and it was even a shadow. I can say that this man was having a well-toned body.
"What do you mean of paradise?" I asked him using my hoarse voice and last strength of my body, I can feel that it was a poisonous smoke; only made by the alphas and beta.
Is he an Alpha or Beta?
"Home..." sparingly said of the werewolf. I am losing my sight, strength. The smoke was really poisonous, that can make me lead into death.
"H-House? D-do you want me to take in your house?" I uttered those words. With my one eye opened, I saw a pair of golden eyes looking at me intensely, gaze at me like I'm the most beautiful view in the whole empires.
Without blinking, the stranger, carried me, and a few moments later, I heard him howl a bit in my left ear. It brought shivers in my body.
"I said home, not house. You will know if take you in that place. But for now, rest." That's the last word that I heard, before oblivion have taken me.
I wake up with a pounding headache. I want to call Prioz to give me some medicine. Not only that, but I crack my eyes open and sit bolt up right with a screech. This is not my garden of lychnis!
Shakily, I let my eyes travel in those white roses. Wait, what? A garden full of white roses? I almost turned pale the moment I stood up and saw the garden surrounded by white butterflies and white roses. What grabbed my attention the most was a balcony on top of what seemed to be vine roses. Squat and step back a little to take a closer look at the whole area. I was caught for shock, once I saw the full detail of the mansion.
A mansion with two balconies on the right and left side. The door I wouldn't have seen if I hadn't pulled out the white roses. Once I heard a crackle from behind me, while busy parting the rose vines. Without any hesitation, I shifted my gaze to the back, and in there I saw a woman turning her back on me. Her brown shoulder-length hair.
"Where am I?" I asked myself as I looked around. But, the woman who seemed to have a more masculine curve took my gaze.
Without any further reasons, the girl turned her gaze at me. I clasped my hand in mouth for what I saw. She's not a girl because the anonymous human in my front of, was definitely a boy.
His onyx eyes, thick eyebrows, wavy-brown-shoulder-length hair. The way he looked at me, it melted my heart, made my knees weak. His amour, the bearing and its form seemed to be that of a prince, that was kicked out from its kingdom because of the inherent charisma because the men were afraid that this man would take away their wife.
"Good morning, my Luna," he said, without any hesitation. Luna? What the-He's an Alpha?
I almost broke the rose plants the moment I stepped back, while trying to close my eyes and not just let my gaze go with his. "Don't come near me. I'm not your Luna, I'm a goddess!" I blocked my right hand to prevent him from going in my direction.
"As far as I know, I have never forgotten your name. You're Fala Caran, the guardian of the lychnis," he said, didn't even think twice to stepped closer to me.
"How did you know my name? I'm a goddess, a hidden goddess in the middle of the world. And, according to the prophecy, alphas of the town was never love meddling in the goddesses. And here you are, trying to mesmerize me by your eyes." I faced him with all strength. It was only then that I noticed my garment had a slit on the left side.
"What did you do in my clothes? Did you stripped it?" I asked him a series of questions, but he remained silent. Instead of going in my direction, it went with the white roses and picked up a piece. As soon as it came back, it bowed at the same time as he looked up at me. A smile crept in his face, as he showed to be from his behind the white time.
"I ruined it, my bad. You're still beautiful with that dress. May you accept this rose to make you feel welcome in my home," he said, without any hesitation in his voice. Then earlier I noticed that his gaze on me was strange, it seemed to be talking, glistening in the midst of the scent of roses.
With my trembling hand, I accepted his flower and sparingly smiled at him. I can already feel my heart beating fast as if it is coming out of my throat.
"What's your name?" I suddenly asked him, when instantaneously I look at his eyes.
"I'm Waylen Ryuu." It bent evenly on the lawn as if I were a queen looking up to her.
"Ryuu? A dragon spirit?" I asked him when I remembered the witch have told me.
"I'm an Alpha, not a dragon. You stupid goddess." He laughed, but when he looked at my raging eyes. He suddenly covered his mouth, but still kept staring at me.
"Your name I mean, not you, bad dog." I intentionally smelled the white rose after letting go of that word, which was the reason for him to release a loud howl.
"You're in my territory, so learn to respect me, dear, goddess of roses," he said before pulling me inside that mansion.
The moment I set my feet on the marble floor of that mansion, it seemed like a strange presence was what I felt in those moments. Ryuu's grip on me tightened even more. The way he held my hand makes my skin uncomfortable.
"Let me go! Please, I want to come back in my home. I feel it would be better not to spend my time in here scary mansion with you!" I shouted at him and struggled, but still, he was stronger than me.
He tilted his head. The corner of his mouth rose before his gaze hovered over me and spoke. "I want your help. Someone told me, that it was only a goddess who can help me to find that antidote."
I stopped struggling when I heard what he said. I found nothing in his eyes, but despair, longing, and hiraeth.
Antidote? What kind of antidote is he talking about?
"Antidote?" Confusedly, I asked him, which is why he knelt in front of me. Like he was begging in front of me. A single tear escaped in his onyx eyes.
"A long time ago, I met someone... Someone who doesn't I know, but I trust her. And you know what she did to me, after everything that I do to her?" he asked me, shakily, finding a way out.
"W-What?" I uttered while waiting for his reply. As suddenly a wind howling breaks the tension, confusion in both of us.
"I was cursed, not just a simple curse. It was the enchanted curse, the deadly curse. I was cursed by the evil witches. I am finding the enchanted antidote, made by the highest goddess of the moon. Furthermore, I want your help . Please, I'm begging to you. . ."
