"Ariana slow down or you might choke on the sandwich" Justin smirked

Ariana was a little embarrassed so she quickly wiped up her mouth and looked up at him through her lashes as her blue eyes sparkled like the night sky

After staring at each other for a while they both started laughing out loud

Justin soon stopped but Arianna didn't seem to notice that, so she couldn't stop laughing. Justin had his eyes fixed on her

the whole time.

Ariana and Justin were friends from childhood, that were close and does things together, making her father sometimes try to get them engaged but Ariana would bluntly refuse, saying "she wasn't ready to get married until the conflict with the whole werewolf pack in New York City is settled"

"Justin I'm really hungry right now, so can you spare me off your teasing till I'm done," she said still smiling

"Yes ma'am," he said sarcastically

HE WAS TEASING HER AGAIN AND SHE KNEW IT

But she didn't mind because that's just typical Justin, he had always been the one she had done everything with, he had stood by her since she was little, one would think he was her brother or her lover, but he is just the son of the General, the messenger of her father. He wanted to protect everything that he had and wanted to own.

"It's time for the meeting of the werewolf warriors, Justin, you go ahead, I will join you all, I need to change '' Ariana burst out in a commanding tone. Everyone knows her that way, she wasn't a girl to joke with, she had been like this since she was little, and she imitated it from her mother

"alright," Justin responded and left. Ariana went into her room, went to the bathroom, and took a quick bath, she applied lotion on her body, she sluggishly went to her closet

"What should I put on? '' She asked no one in particular while gazing at all the clothes in her closet. She brought out black long tight trousers and a black crop top, a black big leader jacket, and matching black sneakers, putting them all on, she looked at her reflection of herself in the mirror and smiled inwardly

"What a beautiful day to start with a beautiful lady, but all along it's going to be a busy day, First I have to talk to the werewolf clan warriors about getting set for an attack, then am going to go talk to Father about why he asked me to get ready for a war, then am going to go in the lushes and train on my own for some time, before I head back home for more clan affairs" She listed out as the touch the left tip of her fingers with her right hands, She was about heading out when it stroke her mind that she was about forgetting something, she walked back to her dressing table, Different kind of mask were they with different colors, she picked out a black one and wore it, it was covering her whole face "perfect" she muttered

"let's begin"

She stumped out of her room and walked majestically to the meeting hall which was located on the fourth floor of the building. Getting to the room, it was a little bit noisy but immediately after seeing her everywhere kept calm

"Am sorry I didn't come here in time" Justin said, immediately he ran inside the room and saw Ariana already there

"Stop the formalities, Justin, It's making me uncomfortable" Ariana cautioned. She had warned Justin times countless to stop addressing her with huge respect because she was the daughter of an alpha

"According to my father.." She began without formal greetings

"We have an obstacle. It is said that they are the strongest pack in New York, and they are in huge conflict with us. That doesn't mean we can't overtake them, if we train harder we can be stronger than our nemesis, we should not back out, they can attack at any time so we need to be ready, we need to stand up high on our feet, and lead. The training hall would be opened now and everyone is allowed to move freely in and out"

"Thank you, Alpha Ariana, we would do our best" One of the warriors said, making Ariana nod

"The pack princess is very competitive and we need to stand beside her, we need to follow her footstep, she has led us to victory many times so we need to make her proud of us, we also need to get the trust of Alpha Jeffrey, and make our pack the best" Justin addressed, Ariana smiled at him, he was the only one who usually calls her pack princess

"We would try everything possible to make both Alpha proud, you don't need to worry Justin, as far as we have Alpha Ariana and you, we would surely have victory," Another man said

"We don't have time, cause we don't know when they would attack, I don't think we should attack first, because I don't know much about the pack, but I would find out something"

"Enjoy yourself, the meeting is over," Ariana said and walked out, with Justin trailing beside her

"How was I in there, do I look fierce?" She asked

"This isn't the first time you are addressing them, You look cool but a little fierce but that is the spirit of a pack Queen, I don't think there is any lady who is as fierce as you are, good in handling armed things, or good in Physical skilled fighting" Justin indirectly complimented her

"You never can tell, the world is big, you may meet one, one day, and she would beat your ass up, then you would fall in love with her and get married to her, just like in the movies," Ariana said and laughed out, but Justin didn't, he felt sad

"I have to leave you here, I need to go talk to Dad about something important, I will join you later, tell me If anything suspicious happens like a girl beating you up" Ariana laughed and went away, but Justin kept looking at her until she was out of sight.

Ariana Walked inside her dad's room without knocking, this had been her way of entering his room no matter his caution to her

"Ariana! I have told you over and over, you should always...."

"Knock before you come in" She interrupted her father, Mr Jeffrey

"I know Dad, but I love badging into your room this way"

She moved away from the door and removed her mask. Nobody has ever seen her face except for her father and Justin.

"Come sit here" Mr Jeffrey said, patting the sit next to him, Ariana wasted no time sitting next to him

"What's your reason for seeing me Ariana?" Mr Jeffrey asked

"You asked me to prepare our warriors for an unexpected battle, which I have done, and you also said that, the pack we are fighting against is the strongest pack and also our superior, I need you to explain more details to me about them"

"The times you asked me how your mom died, I told you she died trying to save me, I wanted to revenge her death, but I had to look after you First, this pack we are fighting against is the same pack that caused the death of your mother"

"Now you have grown,I want you to revenge your mother" Alpha Jeffrey explained

"Why did they attack?" Ariana asked with both her brows joined together

"They were eager to be the head among all packs, they wanted to be called the best, that was why they attacked us, and now, there are only two pack in New York now"

"Which is?"

"Our pack and the enemy pack" Mr Jeffrey answered

"I need to know more about the pack, so as to know their weaken point and strong point, I don't want to put the members of our pack in danger" Ariana suggested

"So what do you want to do now?"

"After this, I will be going to the lushes for training, and I will be going back to my house, I would ask around to see if I can get information about the pack" Ariana looked into her father's eyes intensively

"What you are trying to do is dangerous Ariana!!" Mr Jeffrey almost yelled. Even though Mr Jeffrey needs to revenge his wife death, putting his daughter life was the least thing he will do, Everyone in the pack knows how much he loves his daughter and how she is the only weak point he has

"You don't have to worry about me father, this isn't the first time am living alone" Ariana said, with a bit of smile

"I know, but investigating in the enemy's pack is dangerous"

"Dad..."

"How about you go with Justin, since he is the only friend you have and am sure with you two together I don't have to worry about anything" Mr Jeffrey spoke with command

"Okay dad" Ariana smiled, she stood up and gave her dad a light kiss on his cheek, picked up and mask and went out

She headed to her room, and saw Justin coming out of his room, she walked close to him and was about speaking when he opened his mouth first to speak

"Done with your dad?" He asked and she nodded

"Dad gave us an assignment, you are to follow me back to the City, we will live at my house there, but our main reason is to Know more about the enemy's Clan" Ariana said

"It isn't easy to know about them. How are we going to do this?" Justin asked

"I have few friends in the city, and am sure they will help me find out about them, I will give you the address to my home, but I won't be heading home, am going somewhere to check out something but I will meet you home" She said

"Is the place really important?"

"Really important" She answered

"How about you drive me there first, before going to the place which is important" Justin suggested

"Nice idea, Let's go" Ariana commanded

"Won't I pack my clothes?"

"You don't have to worry about that, my boys would do that" Ariana said

"You have warriors there?" Justin surprisingly asked

"Am like a Mafia werewolf girl, and am well known, I have my own clan in the City, I only come back here because of you and father, you have been my best friend since I was little, I went to the city when I have come up age and established a pack there" Ariana explained

"Does your father know about it?"

"He doesn't and I want you to keep it a secret from him, until I settle Everything and bring to him victory"

"I will pack princess" Justin assured, and they both laughed

Ariana and Justin set out for New York City, in her car, she drove him to her pack, it didn't take much time before that got to her pack

"Ariel!" Ariana called her personal assistant, who is also as tough as she is

"This is Justin, and Justin this is Ariel, she is my most trusted mate" she introduced

"He will be staying with us Now, show him around, I will be going out now" she gave orders to her personal assistant.

"When would you be coming back?" Justin asked

"I won't stay long, when I get back we will talk about how to begin the mission, and Ariel would be among us too, I need you to give father a call that we are home now" Ariana ordered

"Ariel, Thank you for taking care of my pack for me, I will take it up from now on, but I still need your assistance" She said and got a nod from Ariel. she removed her mask from her face

"Aren't you wearing it?" Justin asked when he noticed what she was doing

"She doesn't wear it when she is actually going out in the city" Ariel answered and got a surprise look from Justin

"Don't be surprised, am lucky to have seen the magnificent look under that mask"

"I need to get going" Ariana said and left

Ariana got to the lushes where she always stayed if she felt lonely. She had seen this place when she was little and had always wanted to come but she didn't want her father to know of it, because he would bluntly refuse, that was why she brought the idea of living in the city so she could always come there.

"I missed the scent of the flowers, the cool air, and the dancing trees" She muttered

Ariana brought out her sword, she inhaled before Swinging her sword to different sides, she aimed at the space. Although she was a member of the park, and also an alpha, she kept training her physical human self.

Ariana was the type to never give in to intimidation. She had lived all her life training in both her wolf form and her human form.

Being an alpha wasn't easy for her; it was her duty to ensure the safety of her pack, although the elders, betas, deltas, and her father were still alive.

However, after being chosen as the alpha of the pack, protecting the park has become one of her priorities. To do so, she needs to be strong.

Isabel kept fighting with no one in particular; she swung her sword to her left and right, doing a back flight and turns as she experimented with her new skill.

Suddenly, heavy footsteps and howls of werewolves were heard

"Werewolf howls!! My pack is far away from here, it can't be them, what is going on?" She asked herself, she moved closer to where the noise where coming from and she saw two guys fighting each other

One was wearing black, had a broad chest, and was more huge than the other, but the other, no matter the size of the huge one, still kept fighting and hitting the other one.

He threw the huge one to one side and was about to stand up, but unluckily for him the huge one got hold of a sharp object and struck the other one, whose loud howl was heard, next thing his sharp fang came out, and without wasting time he bit the huge one to death.

Ariana watched as everything happened

"It's not my business, werewolves are like this, they fight for their business and it won't be good to interrupt them" She was about to leave when the guy fell weakly. She rushed to the scene and checked his pulse she saw he was still breathing, She carried him up with all the strength she had up to her car and rushed him back to the pack.

She drove in crazily and packed her car in front of the pack

"I need help guys" she yelled at two of her warriors who were passing by, They helped her drag the guy to a spare room and dropped in on the bed

"Call the doctor!!" She kept on yelling, and not long after Justin and Ariel rushed into the room

"What happened!" Justin asked

"I saw him fighting with another guy, although he killed the guy, he was weak and he fainted, I can't leave him dying there so I carried him back" Ariana explained

"You should have taken him to a hospital, this is a human world, he shouldn't know we are...."

"He is a werewolf" Ariana interrupted

"What did you say!!"

"Am not stupid to bring in a human in here, he is a werewolf that was why I brought him here, for proper medications"

"The doctor is here" Ariana announced

They waited and watched as the doctor kept examining his body, and finally, the doctor was done

"He is fine, he fainted due to loss of blood all he needs is a rest and he will regain strength"

"He would wake up anytime, because he is a strong and high-ranked werewolf just like you Ariana, so you should watch guard on him and ask him questions," The doctor said

"No problem" Ariana answered, she walked about with the doctor, Justin and Ariel trailing behind, they watched as the doctor left and was out of their site

"Ariel keep to warriors to guard this room" Ariana commanded

"What do we do now?" Justin asked

"Don't tell me you have forgotten our mission here"

"I haven't forgotten anything, a life first before a mission, I didn't get to find out anything before this incident happened and I don't think I need to ask anybody again," Ariana said with a smirk

"I have assigned people to guard him" Ariel interrupted

"What do you mean by you don't need to ask people about the enemy pack anymore?" Justin asked wanting to hear an explanation from Ariana

"Can't you fore tell something Justin?, Don't you see that we have a werewolf here, and werewolves are hardly seen in the city, he isn't from our pack, then he should be from another pack who would know about the enemy's pack, All we have to do is ask him when he wakes up" Ariana explained

"Nice idea Ariana" Ariel complimented

"It's late already, everyone should go take a rest, am In my room in case anything happens," Ariana said and left, Justin headed to his room, Same as Ariel but she made sure every being in the pack was intact.
