Ashly waits for him in front of his door with a baby inside her, but the Alpha never comes back. After a year, they meet again. What will be the outcome? "No, he is not; you are nothing but a stranger to him. So, get out and never come back here. Ashly Madden doesn't need an Alpha."

Chapter 1 Ashly

It was Ashly's last year of high school, and she couldn't be happier. But this year would be different. You see, Ashly went to Central High, one of the biggest art schools in Thailand, along with her best friend Allen. Ever since Ashly could remember, Allen was there from the very beginning. Ashly never knew her birth parents. She was adopted by a man named Adom Seth and adored him so much.

Her adoptive father was a big-shot producer and had the money to prove it. But Ashly was never the type to flaunt the fact that she had money. She dressed nicely, of course, but she earned every penny in order to afford her clothes. Adom is a humble parent and taught Ashly at a young age that you have to work for what you want in life, and Ashly does just that.

Her adoptive father pays for her school's tuition, yes, but everything else Ashly pays for herself. She works at a nice bakery on the corner of her street and absolutely loves it. She has just her, Adom, and a boy named Man. The owner is an elderly lady who used to babysit her when her father had to go away for business trips. Ashly didn't mind; she loved Sophia like she was her grandmother.

She would rush home to talk to her whenever there was a problem, and she would do the same. Allen, Sophia, and Adom were all she had, and she couldn't be happier, but she felt as if something was missing from her life. Which brings her to her next problem. In order to graduate, she must perform at the school's talent show. Five winners would be offered a record deal with two of the biggest labels in New Thailand.

But those two labels were the only ones except for those handsome Alpha boys-maybe an attractive one or two, but mostly handsome-and Ashly was an Omega. As you could see, that is a huge problem-not for her, though. She loved his being an Omega. She owned her title proudly, and whoever had an issue with her gender could kiss her perky ass. When she was younger, Adom told her that being Omega was special. Omegas are the most cherished of them all because they're rare to find. If anyone harmed an Omega, they would be put in jail. But some Alphas and Betas treat Omegas like a piece of sh*t and say they're not good for anything. Adom says it's bullshit, and Ashly agrees with him.

But when her father told her that she needed to find an Alpha before she graduated high school, Ashly thought she might throw up.

"But dad! Not only do I have to perform in front of the entire school, but I also have to find a freaking idiot as my mate! How the hell am I supposed to do that? If you haven't noticed, the people at my school treat me like shit! And I only have two friends! I don't want to leave them to join some sh*t! Please don't make me do this!"

Adom sighed and pulled Ashly in for a hug. "I'm so sorry, Mouse, but I'm not going to be around to protect you all your life. I need you to be looked after while I'm gone. I don't want you to feel alone."

Ashly looked at him with wide eyes. "What do you mean you won't be here? What's going on, dad?"

Adom held her tighter.

"I have terminal lung cancer. I'm dying. I only have five months to live. I've tried to fight this as long as I can, but I am tired. I just want my baby girl to be happy, and I know you aren't happy. I could sense when you were sad. I know you feel like there's this ache in your chest that you can't scratch, and I know why."

Ashly has tears in her eyes when she hears that her father is dying. She didn't think she would be able to handle this, but she listened to what her father was saying to her.

"When I adopted you..." he took a deep breath. "When your birth mother was pregnant, she was pregnant with twins. You have a sister, Ashly. But after you presented as an omega kid, they got rid of you. Not wanting any omegas in their family. Your sister presented as a beta, so they kept her. I was best friends with your birth parents, but after they tossed you to the side, I took you in and raised you as my own. I never spoke to them again or even worked for them. I quit Circle Records and started my own company, Ashly, Inc. Which surpassed their label, and they have hated me ever since. But never has the balls to confront me. Not wanting to ruin their precious image. But their perfect image would be ruined if word got out that they gave up a child because of her gender. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before; I just couldn't die without you knowing this."

Ashly wiped her father's tears from his eyes and sat him down carefully on the couch. She stretched his legs out so he would be comfortable. Ashly sat on the edge, staring into her father's eyes with a smile. Ashly was blessed to have this man in her life. A man who gave up everything for her and didn't care about his image of raising an omega kid. She couldn't be more proud. Ashly kissed Adom's forehead and wiped his father's tears away; they just kept coming.

"Dad, why are you crying? Are you in pain?" Ashly asked, worried she had hurt her father. Adom shook his head.

"I am just happy that you didn't run away or leave me for keeping this away from you. I am so sorry, mouse."

Ashly scrunched her face at that, making her father laugh.

"You still make the same faces as you did when you were a baby and didn't like something."

Ashly smiled and hugged her father tightly. "I would never leave your dad. You're the best father I could ever have, and I am extremely grateful that you took me in and raised me as your own. Thank you so much. I promised I would try to find my mate, but how will I know if I find the right one?"

Chapter 2 Sister

Adom patted her on the hand and smiled. "You'll know when you come into contact with them. Their scent would drive you crazy, and vice versa. Your soul would try to escape and make you want to be closer to him. But you have to control it. I wouldn't want you to do anything in the middle of school. That would be dangerous. But trust me, you will know when you find your soulmate."

Ashly nodded in understanding. "Could you tell me the name of my sister? I would like to know. Please."

Adom hesitated for a moment, then told her. "Her name is Monika, Monika James."

Ashly gasped loudly. "Monika James?! As in the same Monika James who attends my school alongside his older brother Type James and whose friend Sam Lucifer is a member of the Alex Lucifer pack! One of the strongest families in the school or city! Are you kidding me?!"

Ashly jumped up and began pacing the floor. Not only was her sister one of the most popular girls in school, but she was also part of the Alex Lucifer Pack. The same Alex Lucifer whom Ashly has had a crush on since middle school but never said anything to Afraid to be rejected Damn it, could it get any worse?

Ashly sighed, sitting back down beside her father and barring her face against Adom's neck. "I am so fucked!" Her words were muffled, but Adom understood them and chuckled.

"Stop being a drama queen and relax. You are releasing pheromones that are depressing my mood, you dork. Now tell me about the talent show."

Ashly Play hit her father with a pillow but smiled and began telling him about her graduation. "Well, it makes no sense, to be honest, since I am only there for graphic design and play a few instruments. But they want us to have fun since it's out this year and we graduate in December. They said it didn't matter if you weren't there for the music; they just wanted everyone to have fun and support their student body. I don't know what I am going to do. We could pick partners if we wanted, but I was never good at being in large groups, as you know. So I was thinking Allen and I could play something together."

Adom scoffed. "You're selling yourself short, mouse. You have an amazing voice that wants to be released, so let it fly. You have to be as confident in your voice as you are in your drawing. You shouldn't waste your talent because you think people will make fun of you for it. I could help you if you want."

Ashly hummed, pretending to think. "I guess it would be okay, but if I sucked, then I am sticking with playing with Allen. She needs this opportunity more than I do."

Adom clapped happily like he was a small child, and Ashly laughed, shaking her head. "And you call me a dork! Yeah right! You've got me beat!"

"Yeah, right, now get out of here before you're late to work. Sophia would kick both of our asses; oh, and tonight I'm going out with Man. I will be a little late coming home."

The man has been her father's boyfriend for four years now, and they couldn't be happier. Ashly smiled at her father, slapping him with a pillow as she got up. "I am going for a run later with Allen anyway, so have fun tonight and use protection, yeah?"

Ashly ran up the stairs, laughing, when Adom threw a pillow in her direction.

It was the first day of Ashly's senior year, and it started off horrible. She woke up with this killer headache, and the medicine she took didn't exactly help either. She had no clue what could be causing this kind of pain, but she hoped it stopped whatever it was. Groaning, she got up and made her way to her bathroom. She did her business and hopped in the shower.

She thought about the conversation she had with Allen last night at work. They talked about her birth parents and that she had siblings who went to the same school as her. Also how they are part of Alex's pack. Allen was just as shocked as she was when she found out, but she handled it differently. Allen was completely puzzled in front of the customers sitting in the bakery, enjoying their scones or muffins.

"Holy shit Ashly, this is huge news! What are you going to do? I mean, you have a twin freaking sister! And was separated at birth! Are you going to talk to her?"

Ashly shook her head and wiped down the counters as she waited for their customers to leave so they could close up for the night.

"No Ally. I'm not going to talk to her or both of them. I mean, they already think we're freaks as it is. They don't even speak to us; why would I want to surround myself with people who think they are above everyone else? Why would I embarrass myself by speaking to them? It's not worth it; could you please drop it and help me clean up before we close?"

Allen wasn't having it. "No! You will talk to them at school, whether you like it or not! She has a right to know just as much as you do! You're not the only one who was hurt by this. She lost her older sister and his other half. Your siblings miss you just as much. So tomorrow at school, we will march up to their precious pack and speak to her. Who cares if we're omega kids? We're the toughest guys in the school. So buck up, chief, for this."

Ashly laughed at her best friend. Allen is such a dork, but she loves her either way.

Shaking her head, getting back to the present. She washed her body and exited the shower. She had two days of stubble on her face and decided to leave it. She looked hot, in his opinion. blow-drying her hair, then putting some product in it. It didn't matter anyway; she was wearing a hat today, so her hair really didn't matter.

She threw on some blue jeans, a plain blue t-shirt, and some black combat boots. In her opinion, she looked damn hot. She grabbed her black bomber jacket, bookbag, phone, wallet, and keys. She was ready to go and pick up her bestie. Making her way down the stairs, she saw her father and boyfriend making out in the kitchen.

Chapter 3 Badass Omegas

Ashly made gagging noises behind them. "Gross! And in the kitchen, dad! We eat in here, you know? Sheesh, keep it in your room. I'm still a child and shouldn't see my dear old dad making out with his half-naked boyfriend in the kitchen! Oh, the horror!" She faked crying.

Adom and Man burst into a fit of giggles, and Ashly smiled.

"You're such a dork! You got everything right?" Adom asked him.

"Yup! I'm picking Allen up in a few. Hey, dad, I've been having these killer headaches lately, and they haven't gone away. Do you have anything for them?" She asked as he opened the fridge for a bottle of water and grabbed a banana. Adom and Man were looking at each other, and it was freaking her out.

"So is that a yes or a no? I have to go, dad, so if you could answer the question, She looked at her father closely, seeing the concern in his eyes. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"

"No, no. But you are getting these headaches because you've come in contact with your Alpha already. They would only stop when you were around them. Do you know who your Alpha is?"

Ashly laughed and took a bite of her banana. "Good one, dad. No one would want me, but since you don't have anything, I'd better be on my way. I shouldn't leave Allen waiting too long. Love you! Have a great day today! And don't work too hard. Oh, and man, take care of him, would you?"

"Of course I will. Have a good first day, Ashly." Says Man.

Adom frowned, not liking how his daughter thinks so little of herself sometimes. Sighing, he hugged Ashly and kissed her on the head. "Be safe, okay? I love you." Ashly smiled and walked out the door to her beautiful black Honda Accord. Tossing her bag in the back seat, Ashly made her way to Allen.

School has been good so far. Ashly and Allen are in three classes together. Music, math, and physics They weren't happy about their schedule, but at least they had the same lunch period. Ashly had art class with half of the Alex group members, including Alex himself, the other Sam, Monika, Pink, and Earth.

Sam was a nice guy and always treated her kindly. Unlike Pink and Earth, for some unknown reason, they hated Ashly's guts. She's used to it; not many people liked her because of her being an omega. She shrugged and ignored their states and whispers. The teacher walked in, and the class became quiet.

"Already welcome back seniors. We only have five months with you this year, so let's make the most of it. In this year's school art show, I want you to paint a mural about your life and display it. You will have two months to complete it, and I want pictures of your progress through those two months. You could email the pictures to me, or you could show them to me on your phone, and I will grade you on them. Now, today I want you to draw what you've done over summer break. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it should show at least an example. So come on, off you go."

Mrs. Lesi finished, and the class started working. The class soon filled with chatter as their creative minds started following. Ashly drew her working in the bakery with Allen, smiling at each other. Then they went to Universal Studios with her father and boyfriend, Man. She smiled at the thought. She was so wrapped up in her drawings that she barely heard the bell signaling that it was time for lunch.

She wrote her name on the back of her paper and turned it in. Allen was waiting outside for her. She smiled and ran to catch up with her. They made their way to the lunch tables outside like they always have, but they were all full. They decided to sit on the grass and talk about the day so far.

"I have a huge crush on this guy in my other class. Oh, he is dreamy. However, I am unsure if he will pursue me, as he is handsome and dominant. You know how they are." Allen said he was biting her apple.

"Yeah, well, if you're into him, then wait until he's alone to ask him out, and if he says no, then it's his loss. You're a beautiful young girl and deserve to have the best things in life."

"Awww, Ashly! You say the sweetest things." They laughed together.

Ashly's nose flared as she smelled something spicy and tangy. It made Ashly sick to her stomach, apparently, and Allen too, because she matched her facial expressions.

"Well, if it isn't the she-bitch and her tramp," Earth said as he and Pink walked up to them. Ashly rolled her eyes at the couple. She wasn't in the mood for this crap today.

"Well, if it isn't the two disgusting-smelling students in the school, seriously, what do you bathe in? That shit stinks! You both smell like fucking dumpsters, but you tried to hide the scent by spraying fragrance on top of it. News flash! It doesn't work." Ashly waved her hand in front of her nose to clear the air. Allen laughed loudly. This made the two betas angry.

"You should watch your mouth, Ashly. No one wants a smart-mouthed omega kid." Pink snapped

"And no one wants a whore-smiling girl, but here we are. If you don't want anything other than name-calling, go away. You put in a valuable effort, but your words don't hurt. Now go back, sweety; you wouldn't want to upset your darling Alex, now would you?" Ashly smirked as Pink. and Earth flinched at that.

Allen smiled, standing up and folding her arms over her chest. Type and Monika made their way over to the commotion.

"What's going on here?" Type asked.

"Oh, you know, just putting your group members in their place since your leader can't," Allen said with a smirking face. Ashly laughed and high-fived her.

"No one speaks about our leader like that," Type growled, stepping in Allen's face. Ashly stepped forward and clicked her tongue.

"You shouldn't do that. Things could end very badly for the four of you if you attacked us. Trust me." Ashly threatened.

"And what is a weak omega kid like you going to do about it?" Said Pink.

"If I were in a bad mood, I'd beat your face until it matched your shoes, but since I'm not, I'll leave that to Allen while I deal with the two wannabe Captain Americas." She looked Type and Earth in the eyes, taunting them. "So, shall we get this on the road, or are you all talking?"
