Rias's POV

I was known for my prominence and virtuous nature, even if my tongue could cut everyone's heart when I spoke.

My priority is the safety of my pack, and as the luna and negotiator, I need to hold a scary but sweet façade.

I saw my reflection in the mirror. The alpha of this pack must love to see himself and watch his beauty.

I hate the fact that he's taking too long to meet me. I knew my children were waiting for me.

I sighed, and my irritated expression showed in the mirror. My long, curly brownish hair kisses my bum. It was thick and fluffy, like Victoria says.

Victoria got her father's black hair, and Raeden, my son, inherits my hair color. I have blue eyes, thick, long eyelashes, rosy cheeks, a wicked nose, and heart-shaped lips.

It was thin, and everyone believes that I'm the prettiest she-wolf in our clan. My daughter inherits the gray eyes of her father, and Raeden gets mine.

They both have my rosy cheeks, long eyelashes, and heart-shaped lips. They inherit their dad's nose, jaw line, and eyebrows. I stood up and bowed my head.

"Greetings to Alpha Nicholas," I said. He laughs and sits down.

"You may take your seat, beautiful Luna of Fuego Mist," Nicholas says.

He was trying to speak sweetly, and his smile is also charming. I tried to hide my irritation. "I heard you are here because of what my members did to a bar that is owned by your husband's beta member," he stated.

"Yes. As the luna, I am here to negotiate and give justice to what your members did. You should've known that we don't tolerate such brutality to our members," I open up. Nicholas shows that he cares less about it.

"They already paid for the damages. So, why did you come here? Don't tell me you want to drag them back in your husband's pack and detain them? Oh, please, I won't let that happen," Nicholas asserted firmly.

I smirk. His almond eyes were telling me that he's still powerful. His body was rock hard, and he's also six feet tall. His lips were smirking devilishly, and it irritates me the most. My eyes turned crimson, and his mirror broke into pieces.

"You are an alpha, but that doesn't mean that you can use that to scare me. I'm a natural-born luna and have the power to fight. If you don't want to bring those scumbags here, I'm ready to flip your whole territory and smash their faces," I threatened. He laughs.

"Alright, alright. Relax. June! Bring those brats. The luna here is on fire," Nicholas says with naughty grins. I want to punch his face too.

"P-please! We are begging you! We don't want to go with her, alpha!"

I glared and forced them to meet my eyes. They all roared in pain. I manipulated their blood and made it flow backward.

"You all molested one of my she-wolves, and there's no way I will let that slip. If you all come again in our territory just to be rude and disrespect our members, death will be the next punishment I have for all of you!" I roared.

They all gasped and breathed heavily after I released them from my power. Nicholas claps his hands.

"Your husband was too lucky to have such a fragrant wife. I wonder how sweet your taste is," he says, licking his lips. I looked at him with a dead expression and glared at him afterwards.

"I already made my point, and I hope this won't happen again, Alpha Nicholas. If it does, you know what will happen next. I'll have to go."

"Do you want to have some dinner with me, Luna Rias?" Nicholas proposed.

I raise my hand and stick out my middle finger. Nicholas laughter filled the whole room as I walked away.

I got into my car and drove away. My phone was ringing, and I saw my son's name. I answered.

"Hello, sweetheart?" I answered. I heard his scoff, and I think he's mad.

"Mommy, where are you? Victoria and I won't attend our granny's birthday party unless you are here. You know that we don't like her."

I sighed after hearing Raeden's irritable tone. "Mommy is on her way. Tell Victoria to stop cursing. I can hear her murmurs," I replied.

"Sorry mommy. I just hate Granny Nina! She's not like our real grandmothers. They're sweet and loving," Victoria commented.

"I know, sweetheart. But it doesn't mean that you should be rude. Remember what I always say. Kill them with kindness, like what a song said. I'll be home in a minute, so please... Stay in your room and wait for me, okay? Raeden, sweetheart, did you understand me as well?"

"Yes, mommy. Don't worry. We will wait for you. Bye-bye."

"Bye. I love you both," I stated, dropping the call. I sighed sadly.

Yes, Raeden and Victoria were twins. We got them through the IVF process and surrogacy. Here's a fun fact.

My husband's mom and mine want to carry our babies, but the doctors suggest that only one of them can carry the baby, even if they're twins.

Both of them played rock-paper-scissors shoot to see who would carry the twins, and mom wins.

My mother-in-law had no choice but to admit defeat. My marriage is not normal. We are betrothed because our parents are close friends. They fought a great war, and they swore loyalty to one another.

We had a baby because of technology and science. But after our parents died two years ago, my life became more miserable.

My husband became a puppet of his aunt, and my chances to be with him became less than zero. When our parents were still alive, we barely saw each other.

I'll be happy if we can meet each other once a week. He keeps on ignoring me, and his beloved woman always brags about that in my face.

I arrived at the mansion and decided to change my clothes first before meeting with him. I have to talk to him about an important matter.

But first, I have to wear appropriate clothes and put some accessories and make-up in my hair and face.

I have to be the prettiest at that party. Well, at least in others eyes. That's the only thing I can truly be proud of.

I locked my room and took a shower. As the water brushes off my skin, bitter things come to mind.

They laughed at me and even accused me of being rude, unruly, and unfit for my position as Fuego Mist's Luna.

His aunt and childhood sweetheart are the reason why I lose my confidence, and sometimes my world is clouded and becomes dark.

"I wonder if I'll be able to find happiness," I whispered.

But I bitterly laugh and finish my bath. While drying my hair, I noticed my wedding and engagement rings. I smiled, stopped drying my hair, and smiled.

I remember when my husband dragged me into a certain room in this house. He let me watch as he crafted these rings and asked for my suggestions.

'I thought we'd be happy, but I guess I was wrong. I am indeed wrong.'

After drying my hair, I put on my dress. It was a floral white and purple dress. The roses are purple, and it was silky white. It was backless, and everyone could see my back.

In front, it's a V-cut. The long sleeve was see-through, but it has embroidered butterflies. There are also Swarovski crystals that make the dress more elegant.

I put on my dark red lipstick and breathed out after. I'm ready. I went off to my room and knocked on his door. I know he is not here yet.

His room is on the east side of this mansion, while his office is in the middle. The door opens, and I know he's telling me to get inside.

He seated himself again and stopped taking off his glasses. I sat on the couch and saw the cherry blossom tree.

"It's spring already. This is our first meeting of the month and might be the last, alpha Victor. Time passes in swift seconds," I murmured.

"What are you trying to say? Why did you come here?" Victor asks.

I turn around and face him. "You've been ignoring me for six years. Let's get divorced," I proposed.

I notice how his pupils move and those grayish eyes that captured my heart ten years ago. He also has long lashes, and his thick eyebrows express his power and authority.

His sharp jawline and those plump lips give him that charisma. Every woman will be drawn to it. He's so gorgeous that your underwear might fall off.

This thick, dark hair will give you the desire to brush it with your fingers. His skin is a bit tanned, and he's six feet and four inches tall.

He is muscular and has a broad shoulder. Overall, a man who breaks all the beauty standards for male species.

"What did you just say? You want a divorce, Rias?" Victor asserted in an irritated and firm tone. I simply nodded.

"Let's drop this façade already. Our marriage is not perfect and happy at all. The kids were geniuses. They will understand us. I will give you the papers that I signed tomorrow morning. I know you have to get her. I will excuse myself. I have to get the twins also," I utter and bow my head.

I didn't wait for his next words. I dash towards my children's room and knock on the door. They opened it because they knew it was me.

I created a secret door, and they will open it right away because it's me. Plus, they can smell my cologne as well. I hugged them both.

I kneel down and look at their beautiful clothes. Raeden is wearing a blue suit, while Victoria is wearing a purple ballgown dress. I kiss their cheeks.

"Welcome home, mommy!" they both say. I smiled and nodded.

"Are you guys ready for your granny Nina's birthday party?" I ask.

"We have no choice. But we will be okay because mommy is here."

"Aww, that's so sweet, Raeden, sweetheart. Let's go?" I stated.

They grabbed my hand, and I carried them right away. On my way to the function hall, I notice something. But I am more worried about something else...

Rias's POV

The three of us were taken aback when we saw my husband leaning on the wall as if he were waiting for us. I stop walking and look at him with a confused expression.

"I thought you would be picking Diana up in her room. Why are you here, Alpha Victor?" I ask. Raeden holds my face.

"Mommy, can you please call daddy sweetly? I heard Auntie Lilith one time. She was saying about BIG DADDY. I think that's-uhmp!"

I blushed after I heard what Raeden said. Lilith is the guardian witch of Fuego Mists. Every pack has its own contracted guardian witch.

Lilith, on the other hand, is a playful, funny, happy-go-lucky witch. Her hair changes depending on the weather.

Her dark almond eyes were captivating, and she has a heart-shaped face. Her lips are plump, she has a wicked nose, brows, and lashes. She is sexy and alluring.

"Stop listening to your aunt Lilith. Choose the words that you should believe from her, okay?" Victor says. Raeden takes my hand.

"I know what it means. I agreed with it!" he says, smiling naughtily.

Raeden and Victoria are geniuses but mischievous kids as well. Victor grabs our daughter in his arms, and I gasp when he suddenly holds my hand.

"Let's go. I know everyone has been waiting for us," he says.

Victoria giggles, and even Raeden does too. I feel like my stomach is filled with butterflies, and his hands are giving me electricity that tickles and tingles my whole body. Damn! My heart will give up if this continues!

'I love you. I wish I could even say that right in front of your face.'

The twins pushed the door open, and everyone's eyes were on us. The guests, who are also members of his pack, had to bow and kneel themselves. It was their way to greet us.

"Greetings to our leaders!" they all say.

"Oh my gosh!" Lilith says.

She's winking at me, and I know what she's trying to say. She looks gorgeous in her yellow mermaid dress, surrounded by flowers.

I was about to take back my hand when his fingers intertwined against mine. I looked at him, and Victor's face was as blank as it always is.

Diana and his aunt are approaching us with that mad expression. Diana, who is wearing a mermaid dress, had been staring into our hands.

Diana is blonde with blue eyes. She has big eyebrows, long lashes, a wicked nose, and plump lips.

She looks stunning tonight, and I know Diana wants to impress my husband. His aunt that I was talking about was adopted by his father's family.

Nina is strict and dislikes me the most. I know why she can't manipulate me. But she's closer to her because she prefers Diana to Victor to me.

Victor treated her like his own mother after his parents died two years ago. He became busier, and I think he believes that their deaths were not a simple encounter with rogues in Cambodia.

My in-laws went there for a charitable cause. They are philanthropists, and like my parents, they love helping people, especially humans.

My parents died after their missionary trip in Nepal. They decided to hike up Mount Everest but lost their lives along the way. Like him, I was also doubtful of their deaths.

Victoria seemed annoyed after she saw that Diana was glaring at me deathly.

We heard a whistle. Javier walks closer, holding a glass of champagne in his hand. His brown eyes were telling us that he was enjoying what he heard. Javier is a beta and this pack's doctor.

Lilith is his nurse, and they're like two peas in a pod. He is wearing a blue suit. His hair is curly but not afro, and he has thick eyelashes, brows, lips, and a wicked nose. His jaw makes his face more alluring and charming to ladies.

"Oh well, Ms. Nina. Victor is right, they should go around and great this pack member with his family. They're picture perfect, and it will raise our member's morale to their leadership," Javier commented.

"Did I ask your opinion, Javier? Diana and Victor should come with me because it's my birthday. They should have the guest with me. So stop giving bullshit opinions," Nina replied. He just laughs and smirks.

"That's kind of rude. Alta Huego's luna shouldn't be treated with disrespect, especially for lowly omegas," Elena commented.

I looked to my side and saw her wearing a simple, long black silk dress. But her jewelry makes the clothes more stunning.

The diamond earring and necklace were worth millions. She's my best friend and Alta Huego's friend.

Alta Huego is my parents pack, and we haven't united with Fuego Mist because I know it will be a problem when our relationship goes downhill, which is happening.

Their loyalty was to me and the kids alone. But of course, they still respect my husband, Victor. Elena's eyes had been purple since she was a kid, after her mom requested that to our pack's guardian witch.

It was blazing purple, and his thick brows and lashes made it more stunning. Elena's small lips and wicked nose make her stunning, and she's got that sexy face.

But the man walking towards us was her greatest rival. He is Guillermo, my husband's right hand.

"I assumed this is all about a greeting commotion. Everyone is delighted to see you alpha Victor holding your wife's hands. Luna Rias, you should go with your kids and husband to greet our member," he says.

Guiller has a deep baritone voice like my husband's. His eyes were greenish gray and had thick brows but thin lashes. His jawline is perfect, as are his heart-shaped lips and wicked nose. His blonde.

"Even you, Guiller? Come on!" Diana roared.

They just look at her with a blank expression, but their brows furrow. Nina looks at me with anger in her eyes. Victor drags me along with them. The twins seem to be happy.

"Yey! Daddy and mommy are together!" they both exclaimed.

We start to greet our members at their table, and they are all happy to see us together. At first, they're hesitant about which side they should be on. If they are team Rias or Diana. But my efforts all these years paid off.

"We are very glad to see the four of you at times like this, not only in portraits," Annie says. I smiled and enjoyed chatting with them.

'Huh? He's still holding my hand? Is he not sweaty or disturbed by it? Wait a second... I can really sense these odd feelings. I should be watchful!'

"We are happy that everyone is enjoying this party. Please bear with us and with our celebrant," Victor commented.

They must have understood his point. They only nodded along the way. There are 70 tables with five people each.

But his pack members were almost five hundred. Yes, they're like a whole town. He suddenly stops and looks out the window.

"The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?" Victor commented. I smiled.

"Uhm, I agree..." I replied.

Victor looks at me. I was frozen for a moment. He smiled at me so sweetly. I never saw Victor smile at me like this. I feel like my heart has stopped beating. I notice our kids giggles.

"Let's go to our table, he suggests. I end up nodding to him.

He put Victoria in a chair and pulled a chair for me and Raeden. I am doubtful about why Victor is acting like this. He never was before!

"It looks like someone is mopping around," Lilith says, looking at Diana.

Their table is on the other side. There's an unoccupied chair, and I know it's for my husband.

I looked at Victor and was ready to say something when I sensed something that made me worried. This must be the one that I notice is making me restless. I stood up and spoke.

"I need the restroom. I walk too much and my bladder is calling the throne. I'll be back in a minute. Twins, don't be too naughty, okay?" I utter.

"Yes, mommy!" they both say. I smiled and kissed their foreheads.

I left right away, but I made sure that they didn't notice my reaction. I closed the door and froze it. I chose to go outside and check it out.

I took off my shoes and followed my instinct. I feel like someone is calling me outside the garden. I noticed his presence again.

It gives me chills all over my body. But all I can see is darkness in the garden. Did the maids and butlers forget to turn on the lights here?

My eyes turn red as soon as I notice the presence of the bushes. They all come out and look at me. I created a barrier as soon as I analyzed the situation I'm in.

I control the wind flowing around the mansion to make sure that no one will notice this. Today is an auspicious day for Aunt Nina.

Let's say this is my last gift to her. I look at them. As a werewolf, I can clearly see their faces and was surprised when I realized who they were.

Why are they attacking Fuego Mist? What the hell is going on? "Kill the Luna! Kill the Luna!" they all said. My forehead wrinkles. What the fuck!

Rias's POV

I finally realized who the fuck this man is. He's an alpha, but why is he attacking us out of the blue? What is going on?

"James! What is the meaning of this?" I roared.

He didn't answer. I put down my barrier and tried to negotiate. They started throwing me syringes! What the fuck! I manipulated the wind and shielded myself from their attacks.

I gasp when I feel two needles stab me from behind. I didn't expect that two betas would attack me directly.

I used the wind to throw them away and cut their limbs as well. I breathe heavily and realize what they have injected into me.

It's wolfsbane with mercury on it. I can feel the burning sensation and start to feel weak. I stood up, and yet I coughed, and it was blood.

There's another poison in that dosage. But I have to stand up and fight. I cut my palm and felt the pain.

This will help me release some of the poison that was injected into my body. I look at James. His body was ten times bigger than the last time I saw him before his pack was attacked, and he barely survived.

He's like Dwayne Johnson in size! I could feel my body burning, and I even started emitting smoke through my skin. They all attacked me at once.

Their arrows and swords had poison, too. I can't regenerate properly. I threw them away, and they flew all around. I look at James, and his eyes look different.

"Mommy!" the twins roared.

That's when I saw them at the door, and Elena came out too. What the hell! Why did they follow me here?

"Get inside!" I roared.

They were about to approach me when I noticed the wolves that would attack them. I raised my hand and used the wind to push them in, and I shut the door.

But I know they saw how these wolves bit me. I used my elbow to knock out the two wolves that bit my thighs and kicked the one that was about to stab me from behind.

I grabbed their bodies and threw them onto those who would attack me next. I saw a sword on the floor and used it as I flew over them and stabbed straight into their skull.

I can control the wind and use it to fly or land on the ground. I killed ten of them, but James and five more will continue to attack me.

I close my eyes and feel that my body is getting tired and that I might die if I continue to move further.

"Kill the Luna, kill the Luna," they all repeated.

Wait a second...? They didn't try to protect themselves. Instead, all they did was attack! They're like zombies!

I raised my hands and tried to cage them inside a wind ball. They didn't try to free themselves. They all pointed their swords at me.

They're being controlled! I grabbed something from my thigh and used the talisman that was given to me by the witch guardian of my Alta Huego.

The electricity starts to cover their bodies, and suddenly a black smoke comes out of their mouths, and they pass out.

The electric volts disperse the black smoke. I fell down, and my body suffers from numbness and pain as if I'm getting stabbed a million times.

I can feel my organs start to burst inside my body. I was about to give up when James spoke. "Inside the party, we planted a bomb with the same poison as we inject in you. You should save them. You only have a minute before it explodes," he whispered.

He says something one last time, and suddenly, all of their heads burst. I was covered by their blood and mine. My body feels heavy, and I can't move anymore. My family!

My fangs came out, and I forced myself to raise my hand and bite it. I let the blood come out and got up heavily.

I used my power to carry me into the function hall. I opened the door, and I saw Elena and the twins having a conversation with Nina.

"Grandma, please! Daddy, we need to-! Mommy?!" Raeden roared.

They're about to approach me when I create a wind barrier and stop them. My vision is getting blurry too.

I think his aunt was stopping him from helping me. Victor looks at me, and I feel like I saw a worried expression in his eyes. I controlled the air in this function hall and looked for that bomb.

"Rias! Open this barrier!" Elena says. My wind blows the bomb in front of me.

I look at them. "Stay where you all are! Don't move. Hold your breath!"

The bomb explodes. The smoke was green, and I could smell the poison from the smoke. I contained the fire and gases in a wind ball and threw it off the window.

I cough and vomit. The poison had crawled all over my body, slowly reaching my heart and brain. I cleanse the air around the room.

I looked at my children and smiled as I saw them crying. I know I was silly, but protecting my family and everyone is my duty as a wife and their Luna. Elena runs to me.

"Rias!" Elena screams.

Victor's POV

I feel like the world stops when I hear what the twins say. Elena said the same thing, and there was fear in their eyes.

Auntie Nina stopped me, and I was ready to defy her when Rias entered. I saw how badly wounded she was.

I never thought that the attackers could hurt Rias so badly, and I guess they really want to kill her and everyone else too!

Rias creates a barrier, and we can't pass through it. She warned us not to breathe. There was a loud explosion, and she used her power to contain the fire and smoke.

I dash towards her and catch her as soon as I notice that she has lost consciousness. Her heartbeat is getting fainter! Javier and Lilith come over and check on her.

They both turn pale. "Let's go to her room! She's losing her life!" Lilith roars. Elena and Guillermo grab the kids.

"Everyone, go home. Tonight's party ends!" Guiller says.

My palms turn into fists. Deep inside, I was trembling in fear. I might lose her!

"Let Guiller hold her, and Javier is already here. He and Lilith will try to save her. If she can survive, Rias might die anyway," Auntie Nina says.

I turned around and looked at her thunderously. She is surprised, and so is Diana. "You better pray that she isn't, because it'll be a war!" I roared.

They followed me as I used our supernatural speed and arrived in front of her doom's room in just a minute.

I pulled out the doorknob, and I noticed Lilith, who used her power to put it back. I laid her down. After Lilith snaps her finger, a bag appears.

She opens it, and Javier grabs his medical tools. The twins were crying, and they ran to me. I kneeled down and shed their tears.

They love their mother. Raeden and Victoria only believe in my words. I keep on telling them that no matter how much Aunt Nina and Diana tell lies to them about their mother, they shouldn't believe that.

They kept their promise to me. We are staring at their mother as Rias tries to fight for her life. I know she is fighting inside.

"Give me the Elixir. Her body is fighting. I need your blood, Victor. This will help her blood to continually cleanse the poison in her body," Javier says.

Lilith threw the elixir at me. I bite my finger and suck my blood. I drink all the elixir. I held her chin and kissed her. Her own body responds to me.

Rias slowly drank the liquid. I made sure she would have every single drop of it. She gasps and opens her eyes.

The next thing we heard and saw was her groaning in pain. She is twisting in pain and continuing to cough and spit some blood.

She grabs the mattress, and we can see how much she's enduring the pain. Her eyes turn crimson.

Rias pushed me down the bed and nailed her fangs in my neck. She started drinking my blood. I didn't move an inch, and I let her do it.

After that, she looked at me with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry..." Rias mumbles.

She passed out. I closed my eyes when I finally heard her heartbeat. It is stable now. I got up and laid her down properly in bed.

"Daddy, how's mommy? Is she okay now?" Victoria asks. I nodded.

"I'm glad that mommy is okay!" she added, crying. The twins jump on the bed and hug their mother. I wipe off the blood on my neck.

"Lilith, change her clothes. Guiller, come with me. I will check the situation outside and how those bastards enter my mansion!"

"I will take care of it. Your wife needs you more than you know. Leave the trivial things to us," Guiller answered. I punched the wall and cursed.

"Damn it! No one! I won't let that mastermind get away from this! How dare they be! Of all people, why does it have to be Rias?" I roared.

"Your aunt, I can sense their presence. They're coming here," Lilith says. My jaw clenched. She wouldn't stop. Aunt Nina really hates Rias.

"Lock the door, and no matter what happens, don't open it. Guiller, let's go. Raeden, Victoria, stay here with your mommy, okay?" I remark.

Okay, daddy. Please come back as soon as possible," Raeden says.

"I will, Lilith?" I utter and look at her.

She nodded. Guillermo and I walk out of her room. Diana and Aunt Nina look at me. Diana was about to touch me when I walked on the other side. They were surprised by what I did.

"Guiller, let's go. Don't try to get inside and create a scene. Rias needs to rest," I warned.

I walked away and ignored Diana completely. When we reached the garden, I saw the bodies and the scent of blood everywhere.

My instincts notice a certain presence from a distance. It's giving me chills because of how dark the aura is. I look at Guiller and speak.

"Stay here. Clean this up and call the other members to hell. No matter what happens, stay here," I asserted.

Guiller understands the meaning of my words. I dash and follow that presence. I have to know if he's the mastermind of this incident. I have to catch him!
